We purchased a "Swastik sesum wood 4-seater dining table" on 14'May'2013 from Hometown, GIP mall,Sector 18, noida, for 28400 Rupees. It was to be delivered latest by 24'May'2013(also mentioned in the bill). However, we received a call from hometown, call center on 23'May'2013 telling us that, they will be deliver the table on 26'May'2013 and not the promised date(24'May'2013). On the same day(23'May'2013), we went to store and requested them to deliver on promised date(24'May'2013 as written on bill also). They agreed and promised that they will do so. Having not received table on 24'May'2013. We called them on 25'May'2013 and enquired regarding the same. They told us many lies, example: Deepak(customer care) put my call on hold and never came back on call. I then called store, had conversation with Kapil who promised me that he will make sure that table will be delivered by 26'May'2013. Then I had a conversation with Mohan, he is now saying that, dining table will be delivered by Tuesday(28'May'2013)
We are now not left with any choice but register the case with consumer court. We have all bills with delivery date mentioned and call recordings.

Also, I told them that I am not left with any choice but to go to consumer court. They, in turn, challenged me to do so. This is really frustrating and sad that, even on spending so much hard earned money, one does not get due respect, hospitality. Moreover, you get cheated and your money goes to wicked people and you do not receive product you paid for. You are simply cheated by these big brands. Hometown and its employees cheated me and kept from me an amount of 28400 Rupees. This was really hard earned money. I will not be able to trust any brand now.

Hometown and its employees have not only put their name for a toss but have defamed all brands as well. I do not know, when will I be able to recover this victim feeling against brands. Have some shame, Hometown.

bill payment — due Bill payment

Dear SIr,

On Date 25/02/2009 I had made payment against my mob. bill through ICICI net banking. The payment was successfully and amount had deducted(Payment ID ; [protected]) from my account but still this amount is pending. Payee was INDIAIDEAS.COM Ltd. ICICI bank has cleared that payment has sent to them but my service provider (airtel) have not got any payment so far. What should I do? please tell me how can I reimburse my amount again.

    My husband and me went to Hometown Marathahalli to purchase a bed for our son on May 5th. We liked a bed and paid for it and also went in for an exchange offer for my sons baby crib . The ground manager Roshan told us that the piece would be delivered by May 7th and the pickup of the crib would be done on the same day itself. Also, the fitter would come on May 8th. We kept waiting till May 8th but nothing happened. I started calling up their Customer Service Number. Finally after dialling around 15 times I managed to speak to someone. I explained to them about my order and they said they would get back.I never heard from anyone. Next time when I called up they stated I have to call up a different number for pickup. The person at this number just hung up on me when I questioned their professionalism. I never heard back from anyone from Hometown. I had to keep calling them about by order. Finally on May 15th the bed was delivered but without the wheels. Again I had to make calls to Hometown. Finally after making some 100 calls they sent a fitter on May 24th. I have still not received any information as to when the pickup will be scheduled. I spoke to the following people Joyce, Shanti, Srikant, Joby, Shyamuddin but no one had the courtesy to give any information or expedite anything. My husbannd had to personally go to hometown to find out from the store manager about the pending order.

    My question to Hometown is
    1. Why are customers not kept in the loop if the order has been delayed?
    2. Why do your Customer service people hang up on the customer when the customer is speaking with them?
    3. Why does the customer need to call up the vendor for pickup?
    4. Why do your employees not take any ownership?

    I have gone through the several complaints against hometown. Your basic processes of delivery, pickup, customer service fall flat on the face. Your employees need to be trained on reaching out to the customer on time.

    My order no is 88829. Please expedite the pickup as i have decided not to buy from you nor conact you any more!

      BUY FROM HOMETOWN MARATHAHALLI IF AND ONLY IF YOU ARE TAKING THE DELIVERY ALONG WITH YOU WHEN YOU LEAVE THE STORE.... IF DELIVERY IS SET TO FUTURE DATE, YOU ARE NOT GOING TO GET THE ITEMS - NEITHER THE MONEY BACK IF YOU ATTEMPT TO CANCEL YOUR ORDER.... BELIEVE ME - THESE GUYS ARE BIGGEST FRAUDS IN THE CITY AND WILL TORTURE FOR DOING BUSINESS WITH THEM.. WIERD..HUH...? READ MY STORY BELOW:-

      On a bad day I decided to get some furniture to my new home from so called one stop home making solutions – Hometown’s Marathahalli store.

      30-Mar 2013 : Paid in full an amount around Rs. 50000 and booked wardrobe, dressing table, study table etc.. They gave a surprise gift - cake decorating stand. At this point I did not realize that this is ALL I would get for ~ half a lakh... They offered furniture delivery by 22nd April 2013..

      23-Apr-2013 : No calls from hometown. No delivery... I called their office - Of course - according to them, it’s on the way from Nagpur/Kanpur/or somewhere and I will get the items by 30 April.. Consoling myself, I waited..............and still waiting...

      1-May-2013: I called their store again. This time, they had some different reason.. Luckily it was not the truck from Nagpur/Kanpur this time… but one of the item was not ready.. they promised to will deliver by 5th may... They asked me to call Jobi (I don't know how to describe this person's attitude). This person will put you in his reject list once he gets to know your number. If you call from a different phone, he will pick up and say " Will call you back in a moment" That moment will never arrive.. And you will realize that your new number is again in the 'REJECT' list.

      5-May-2013: Called up customer service again.. this time they asked. “So you have ordered one 3 door wardrobe rt?” According to the customer service people sitting in numbers 66621122/23/24/25, my order has transformed somehow(how???)
      from
      One 4 door wardrobe, a dressing table with mirror & chair and one study table - (which I actually paid for..)
      To
      3 door wardrobe and a study table of honey color (cheap wood - not the one I paid for...but what they want to deliver to me in case if at all they decide to deliver..)

      I had photo of all items I paid for..and the receipt.. They said - they will deliver me one 3 door wardrobe by 7th May if I am OK with that... and study table whenever it is ready. (interesting option…hmmm..). Basically they were saying that they CAN deliver two few thousand rupee items that they may want to get rid of from their store in place of the items for which I paid around rs.50000.

      Please don’t' assume that all the above events happened in a single attempt to reach them over phone.. They will say, will check and call back.. and will never return a call. Will try Jobi- the Manager??…. Oh. Come on.. Did you forget? I am already on his reject list.. Try the customer service number again... again.. again.. trust me.. they will never give you a call back.. nor anyone will say their name.. They are not accountable.. not responsible.. A bunch of people to take your frustration to the levels that you can’t even imagine!!!!

      Story continues.. So Again and Again.. We continued calling them to know where the item is.. Every time we call they push the date by two days and will give a false promise it will be delivered THIS time for SURE.. and they will definitely give me a call when the delivery truck start from their store...funny isn't it??

      11-May-2013: Tired and Fed up.. Called their Customer service number.. Someone picked up.. I said. “You are not delivering on time.. I would like to cancel the order”. CSR sounded as if they are concerned about my concern (No.. they are NOT). And tried to make another promise to deliver by 13th. I insisted on my decision and they said they will cancel the order and inform the ‘Manager’ (hope you know who…).

      12-May-2013 : I got a call from Hometown rep. She sounded so desperate and requested me to allow the furniture delivery by 13th. I initially rejected and narrated my entire story to this person. She said it won’t happen again.. she promised “Consider it happened this time” (sounds familiar?? ).. Finally I agreed to give them a chance.. You know the result… of course..

      14-May-2013: I went to Marathahalli store.. asked them what to do to cancel and get the money back..I was directed to go to their 4th floor to meet Jobi..This floor seems like their carpentry workplace – was filled with wood and was suffocating...perhaps the best way to treat angry customers.. By the way, I was curious to meet this person (you can guess why…is a good example of how a store manager / customer relations manager should NOT be).. I found that there are other customers waiting for him to talk about delayed delivery, cancellations.... I could see the frustrations in their face.. I am sure by now their frustrations would have become hopelessness as happened in my case.

      After a warm welcome followed by an unsuccessful attempt to promise delivery in another 2 days, Jobi finally said he will cancel my order and refund me in 5 DAYS..

      “Customer already purchased item from somewhere” he muttered scratching his head...I wondered for a minute about this out of context statement but soon I realized that he is more worried about what to put in order cancellation note than he worried about dissatisfaction of a customer. “…because Hometown delayed delivery of purchased items indefinitely” .. I quickly added..

      I said to him I will return the free gift by next day.. but he resisted and said “ Don’t worry sir.. you return it when you get the refund back”. Please take a note this statement as it will be referred again below… I didn’t fall for it.. I called my wife and she came all the way to hometown store with the gift they had given during purchase. We returned the gift and got signed confirmation from Jobi. At this point we got nothing with us for the big amount we spent.

      This is where the torture began to take a new course... The crooked guys at Hometown called me every day from 17th May till today, a few minutes before I started writing this..
      17-May-2013: “You have an EMI on your furniture, so we cannot cancel your order.”
       They definitely know that there is no EMI and I paid in full. Was this an attempt to scare me??
      18-May-2013: “Sir, we will deliver the furniture in 2 days – when will be the best time? “
       Really? I thought I requested to cancel it.. To confirm, I called back at later point and confirmed that their system had recorded my cancellation request. So the call was a fake again.
      19-May-2013: “You have a free gift with you that you have not returned. We will not be able to cancel the order until you return the free gift”
       I thanked us thinking of this possibility in advance and returned their so-called surprise GIFT. I said them that I have returned it.. I was on top of my voice.. they said they were JUST CHECKING… .. I had no words.. I just thanked them for JUST CHECKING.
      20-May-2013: “Sir, we are set to deliver your furniture in 2 days”
       This guy acted as a good child and pretended that he is not aware of all the cancellation stuffs that he could see right in front on his system.
      21-May-2013: “Sir, when do you want the delivery for your furniture” ?
       We asked if he could give us his name : he did not have one.. They preferred to take the name “Hometown”. Hmmm.. nice name..
      22-May-2013: “Sir… We can deliver your furni…...”
       $#%@$@# %%!#!!%# %$#@@# !@#!#! @#!@ ? Are you smart enough to read it?

      I am tired…. Everyone in customer service team in Marathahalli hometown knows that I cancelled my order. They are making this call just for the purpose of provoking me… It’s a mental torture they seems like enjoying very much..…One question “Is it the vision and mission of FUTURE GROUPS to steal customer’s hard earned money like this???”

      Ok back to calls I made between these days.... Mr. Jobi picked up my call two times (see below). I was the luckiest person among many similar customers I guess on those days.
      20-May-2013: I asked Jobi – why their customer service calling us as if they are not aware of cancellation. He said there was a miscommunication and now he made everyone aware that order should be cancelled. I asked about the free gift and EMI attempts and he gave similar reply. He promised I will get the money because the refund process has been initiated.
      22-May-2013: Jobi said he has an email stating that my refund was getting processed. I said I do not see any money credited to account. He replied, nowadays, refund is processed from Mumbai and hence it is getting late. I might have to Wait.. (UNTIL WHEN????) I do not trust this guy.. neither anyone from hometown…

      Jobi said he will forward me a copy of the email showing that refund in getting processed.… and he has my email ID (because I gave them during purchase).. Also he will give me a call back with details of refund… . AND YOU KNOW WHAT… I am again in his REJECT LIST…..

      A long story short - F’d up because I bought something from HOMETOWN – The one STOP destination.

        when we went to hometown in Mysore to purchase a wall cabinet, we were provided with very good service and pretty nice rates. after ordering for the wall cabinet, they told us that it will be available in 3-4 working days and took advance sum of money as well. when we didn't receive our purchase, and called them up they kept on delaying it, and finally when we went to the shop to demand for it they told us that the piece they received was damaged and no more pieces are available, they never showed us the damaged piece and kept on neglecting our demands, then finally we had to take back our advance. Friends, we had a pretty bad experience with this company, and would suggest you never opt for their service.

        Home Town — Howntown - company of cheaters

        I have placed an order for a queen size cot and a mattress from home town for aprrox Rs. 24,000 sometime in mid december 2009 and I was promised that both of them will be delivered by Jan 4th. They haven't delivered the cot and the mattress till date i.e 29th Jan and there is still no confirmation on when these will be delivered. Home Town representatives are giving me new dates everytime I call them. Their managers are so stubborn that they don't even pick up your calls. I have somehow managed to get the number of field workers there and those guys are generous enough to pick up my call and get the new date of delivery from the manager every time. I wish this forum will take some action against this fraud company and teach them a lesson. I would suggest everyone to not go to this store ever.

          I too have the same complaint against Chandamama. I subscribed to the yearly magazine(on www.chandamamashop.com) in Dec 2012 but have got just one issue since then.

          I have spent more money on the phone calls made to their customer care(worst in the world that I have ever dealt with and also sent 100 mails atleast but they hardly reply.I was given some funny excuses syaing their is a printing problem so the issues are not being sent. They are just making money out of nothing and fooling the customers. Some strict action should be taken against such fraud websites.
          My order number is 21074 . You have to be lucky enough to reach their phone nos after about 100 attempts.

          I even told them to refund my money to which they agreed to about a month back (Rajendra was the person I spoke with) and said I will get it in 3-4 days which is again a fake promise as per their reputation.


          Please please please do something against such silly product.

            This complaint is with respect to Hometown - Vikhroli branch. I had purchased a 6 seater dining table from the store on 04th May 2013. The expected date of delivery was 11th May 13. On 11th May 13 I got call from the transporter that my product could not be delivered as it is a wrong model. He further added that same would be done on 12th May 13. After repetitive calls and complaints ( not to forget the mental trauma) I got to know that same would be delivered on Tuesday 14th May 2013. On 14th May 2013 I got a excuse saying that there is no communication from the transporters end for the delivery. For all the updates there was no call from the Vikhroli center and whatever little feedback I got was after my own follow-up. This is sheer apathy towards customer, who has made 100% advance payment before the delivery.

            Need your help in resolution of the issue

            We got a pest control contract done for a year through priya pest control (magdi main road, bangalore). We paid the full mount in advance. What pathetic service they offer. First of all they promised they will come 4 times in year. When first quarter was over after reminding them so many times they came for the service. Next service I am calling them again and again they fix a date and time but never turn up. I have tried calling them also but no response or they just disconnect the line. Such pathetic service. They just want is money. Taken the whole amount in ad

              Hi this is Neeraj sharma, I purchased grocery from Big bazaar (old madras road) Bangalore on 03/05/2013 for the amount of Rs.3994.73 and when i reached home i cross checked the bill and i saw that i was charged for 3 packets of Nandini ghee however, i purchased only 2 packets. When i asked my dad to go back and check with the same he was told that they will cross check the stock and let us know with in 24 hours. After 24 hours i called them up and spoke to Muthu from big bazaar and he was very rude and told that it will take another 2 more days. I am very disappointed by this kind of behavior. I am a regular customer of big bazaar since 3 years. I want my refund for the extra item that was billed and need apology for the rude behavior.

              BIG BAZAAR — Transaction Error

              This is to inform you that as on 25/11/08 the I went to Big Bazar Vashi shop with ICICI Debit card .The Card No is. **** **** **** 9439, Cashier swaped the card for a purchase of Rs-1577/- in Axis Bank EDC machine in Big Bazar, but the transaction showed a Card error. Then cashier swiped the card again in axis bank edc machine and the transaction was successful the second time time. But then i came to know that amount of Rs.1577/- has been debited two times from my account.
              I enquired from all three patys i:e from ICICI Bank, Axis Bank and Big Bazar. But each party is saying that the qamount is not with them.
              So I request to you to please get me back my extra debited money.

              Dear Sir/Madam,

              We went for shopping to Big Bazaar, Old Madras Road, Bangalore.
              During this, i had a very bad experience with the BIg Bazaar staff, "Mr. Muthukumar A. S".
              He started unnecessary discussion, Also, he was very badly behaving with my spouse.Later he was telling to come outside the shop, will see you. Not only this, after my shopping he was waiting for us to come outside and finally he started following us. I complained this to other security and staffs available there, and surprisingly they were supporting him. Finally, he was raising finger on us and started abusing and telling that you will not be alive if i will see you around.
              When i told him that i am going to complain, very proudly he is saying 'go ahead', i have seen many customers like you and doesn't matter whether they come or not.

              Is this the behaviour expected from Future group staffs? I am surprised that on what basis these staffs are being appointed.
              I just want to know what is the resolution and need apology for this.
              Anyway i am not going to visit and even will not recommend anyone to go Big Bazaar now onwards.

                I had ordered for a table ,A book shelf & a TV unit. The order was placed on 10/3/13 I had made full payment of all the items.

                2 items were delivered i.e the table & book shelf. but the TV unit is still not been delivered.all the items were promised to be delivered on the same date wherein i was supposed to get the other items.... I stay at mumbai... these people keep on fooling me saying that it'll come in a day or two. i have work & I'm not jobless to visit pune every now . The worst part of all is that there is no reply i[censored] cal them to ask the status. They just try & give fake assurance....
                This is not appreciated & m sure the brand name is going to get affected. M sure this will add on to the dis-fame of the group as well.
                I'll not recommend any one to buy any good from big Bazar. third grade & hope less service with no courtesy to even call back & inform abt anything.

                BIG BAZAAR — Delivery not yet on time (Bad service)

                I purchased a washing machine on 5th Oct 2008 at Big Bazaar Nagavara Palya, Bangalore., and due to unavailability of stock they promised me to deliver it on 9 th Oct 2008. Till date I didnt receive the item.

                They are not responding to my calls and when I go there they are telling we will deliver tomorrow
                I purchased a LG 29" Television(29FD5RGE) from Big Bazaar, Old Madras Road on 18th October, 2008. Delivery was to be made on 22nd October, 2008. Till today(29th October) no delivery has happened. They will not call you to inform you of status, phone calls to them will only be answered once in every 10 tries and by someone who's untrained in even the basics of customer skills. Asking for an escalation will land you up with someone claiming to be a manager(Ramesh in my case), but still with very rudimentary customer skills. Each time a promise is made 'Sir we will deliver tomorrow for sure, give us 2 days and we will deliver for sure, etc.' All lies just to get off the phone.

                No one will care to revert back to update of status and once I even had this guy trying to change my order("Why buy LG when Samsung is better and we can give it to you readily. Why not change your order") Thank you, but I don't need someone making my choice for me. If they don't have stocks or the logistics to deliver, they have no right to make bookings or even be selling products. Even my neighborhood 10x10 electronics shop would ensure better customer experience.

                    I visited big bazaar today and selected two kurtis for trial. But when i took the kurtis in the trial room found a hole in one of the. So i handed the kurti to the attendent in front of the trial room. Later on two employees from the fashion section came to me and accused me for tearing the kurti. They told me that until i pay for the kurti i will not be allowed to go out. i tried to explain them but they starting using wrong words so i called for the manager. They said leave it and go. But i insisted on talking to the manager. So the manager came but even he was not ready to accept that it was not my fault.Later on to close the matter he said ok i am sorry you can go.
                    So my problem is with the employees working there who have no manners of speakinge taught with the customers. they never greet us and treat us as if we are there servant. I have also worked in superstores abroad and the first thing we are taught is to be polite.
                    I have lodged a complain in the book but i am sure of not hearing from them as it always happens.
                    One more thing when i asked the employee their name they refused to say so. and when i said i am going to write a complain their words were "ja ja kar de koi farkh nahi padta hama" and then they started showing the hole to other customers the hole humiliating us as if we were thiefs.
                    I would like to say please provide the employees proper training. They should know that because of we customers the big bazaar exists.
                    Anyways i am never going to the store again because of the humiliation.

                    I am Varsha Das of kharagpur, I am a regular customer of big bazar, Today I had been to the big bazar with my 2-years old daughter.When my shopping was just in a half way, my baby demanded to have a biscuit so I headed towards the cashier counter to buy my baby a biscuit packet.The cashier did her duty but did not let me go back.I told her that Ihave bought this packet as my baby wants to have it, and I have still more shopping to do and also my baby and my cart both are there, but still they did not allow us, instead they started shouting at me that its not a rule to have anything to eat inside.I tried my best to make them understand that its just my baby who wants to have just a biscuit and also I have paid for it.But all in vain, those so called disgusting employees of the food bazar section started arguing at top of my voice and made me leave the section as they said it is a rule that once made a bill, its necessary to go out, no one can go back.Quite surprised by their inhuman treatment I had to leave the section leaving my baby and the cart and re-enter from the entrance again.Quite obvious I quited my shopping and took my baby and my cart and got out of the section.I was surprised as how could they behave with a lady like this, Its not only me they cannot even consider a child.They must get into knowledge that its not that we are there because of them, its they because o[censored]s.Employees with no ethics are just not tolerable in a shopping complex like that.One more thing, while shopping, At the corner I found almost 4-5 sales executives all piled there i-cards on the products and busy taking snaps and posing for taking pics, not even caring that a customer is looking out for the products.Insead of attending the customer they were busy commenting on each others pics and look.IS THIS NOT OUT OF THEIR RULE?REALLY A SHAMEFUL VIEW AND EXPERIENCE WITH THE EMPLOYEES OF THE FOOD BAZAR SECTION.I TRULY BELEIVE THAT A ACTION WOULD BE TAKEN TO TAKE CARE THAT THE STAFF's SHOULD BE ETHICAL AND WELL-BEHAVED AS HERE NO VALUELESS PEOPLE COME FOR SHOPPING.WE HAVE OUR SELF-RESPECT AND WE DONT COME HERE TO LOSE IT.IF NO ACTION TAKEN THEN IT WILL TAKE NO TIME TO BRING THE REPUTATION OF THE SHOPPING MALL TO NOWHERE.
                    Normally we come here in order to overcome the hackle of choosing things from a heap.. we prefer a quick pick from the displayed items.. however many a times it happens that the things we pick are not updated in the systems and as a result either we have to leave it or have to wait until it's done manually.. like am doing it now.. it's over 1/2 hr and still the billing of a 599 t-shirt is in progress.. i[censored] ll can't update ur systems on time then kindly don't put them in display and create inconvenience for the customer.. this is not the first time and am sure I am not the only person time face this..

                            But the product was delivered on 12th Oct,2009, Tuesday.

                              I hope you will treat this mail with priority. This is to bring to you management notice we have been put in to big hassles by Home town. I would like to point out one by one here.





                              1) When we booked for design and build the charges was with 50% off but your executives( Sourav Saha & Viswajith.H ) have hidden from us and got 100% payment when got to know and asked sourav he said he will give us as voucher though we asked for the money back. This is the first cheat.

                              2) Kitchen was booked with 50% based on the commitment of Sourav that delivery & installation will be done on or before Apr-15-2013, but it was not met though I have been following multiple time. I get multiple calls from home town if any payment needs to be done from my end but when I need any info on the delivery Sourav doesn’t pick up the call. When commitment was not met that should have been communicate to customer in advance.

                              3) Thirdly for my interior work estimation was 1.47 L and I made 50% payment(On 23-Mar-13) which is 74000 and the commitment from home town was that the work would be started by Apr-1st-2013 but till now no work started. Ultimate here is when I call Viswajith.H or Saurav either they give reason as you company internal problem (Like you system issue or something like that) else they will say contractor is not available, don’t you be ashamed to tell this as reason to customer I care the least for your internal or contractor problem that you need to fix I can’t be bidding my money for all these.



                              On and above to this Sourav and Viswasjith ask me to speak to contractor not starting the work. My question is this did I pay to contractor? Why should I have to follow him? If you could not do this why did you take such work when you don’t have the capability to get the work done.



                              4) LAST POINT BUT NOT THE LEAST IF THE WORK IS NOT STARTING LATEST BY MONDAY (22-APR-13) I WILL HAVE TO APPROCH CONSUMER COURT FOR CHEATING AND FOR PUTTING THIS MUCH HASSLES THE CUSTOMER.



                              Also for sure I will share my bad experience with all my know circle.

                                  I am SARAVANA KUMAR from CHENNAI. I use to visit PHOENIX MARKET CITY every week and most of the times i visit BIG BAZAAR there. I was happy that i can find FOOD there but when i went to buy there was a BIG QUE as like in RAILWAY STATION. But there was no other go for me so me too joined the que. After 15mns i got few food items like NOODLES, BIRIYANI. Both were in CHILL CONDITION. I was shocked of it that A FAMOUS BRAND STORE PROVIDING FOOD IN POOR CONDITION and when i asked about it there was no proper response. Next week we ordered CHICKEN ROLL PUFF(am not sure of exact name of the product but its almost what i mentioned). They served it HOT as they kept in owen n gave me but it was COMPLETELY DRY and not FRESH. Last week i was there by around 8.30pm to 9pm and i ordered RASAMALAI and my friend ordered some PUFF even after i warned him that it will be dry. The RASAMALAI tasted bad as it got prepared very early, or i don know the reason behind it, (WHY THE KEEP SUCH POOR CONDITION PRODUCT IN DISPLAY N CHEAT CUSTOMERS AND MAKE THEM FEEL COMPLETELY BAD OF IT). So up to me whenever i buy something in BIG BAZAAR I FEEL VERY BAD OF THE PRODUCT AND ALSO FEEL STUPID OF MYSELF FOR BUYING AGAIN AND AGAIN EVEN AFTER KNOWING ITS NATURE. I AM REALLY FEEL VERY BAD OF IT NOT ONLY FOR MYSELF BUT FOR EACH AND EVERY CUSTOMER. PLEASE LOOK INTO THIS ISSUE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE...

                                  Dear sir,
                                  This a matter of only 1 kg rice, but important, because i won't let my favourite store to become bad marketting option. It was so bad that it does not deserved even 3.5 Rs rate. Rice was such poor quality and very bad.
                                  I did not go to store because quality is a subjective complaint and they will say that i am a stupid. Check that item and hope you people reply me soon.
                                  THEY ARE PROVIDING POOR QUALITY OF FOOD (PUFFS ARE HOT BUT DRY AND NOODLES ARE DRY BUT NOT SERVED HOT, RASAMALI IN POOR CONDITION DURING EVENINGS ETC ETC) PLEASE LOOK INTO THIS ISSUE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

                                    Sir,

                                    We had booked a Modular kitchen & Wardrobe in the month of August 2012 for the total amount of Rs.2,80,000/- in J.P.Nagar Hometown branch in the Central Mall.They had promised that the following mentioned gifts will be provided if we book the order of worth Rs.1,50,000/- on or before 15-Aug-2012 and the same was mentioned in their catalog as well.

                                    The gifts are the following:-
                                    ==================
                                    1. Chimney
                                    2. Food Processor
                                    3. Coffee Maker
                                    4. 4 burner Stove
                                    5. Oven

                                    After the work was done they were telling like now we will not provide the gifts instead will provide you in cheque/Cash.
                                    Later on they are asking for the proof that where they have mentioned is it in the invoice or not?

                                    I am being following since 6 months and I am really fed-up with them and not getting any proper feedback from them in spiting of personally
                                    visiting and asking about the decision.

                                    Really they are cheating customers by promising gifts and other facilities and not fulfilling the same after the purchase.

                                    Request you to kindly investigate and take necessary action against them.

                                      I had purchased a bed from Hometown Vikroli around 13 months back. My daughter used to sleep on it. First - the bottom of the bed broke (it was not very different from cardboard in terms of strength when I tested it !). on complaining the Hometown ppl replaced the bottom with ply. Another 6 months down the line - almost to the day when the bed completed the 12 month warranty - the side of the bed broke.

                                      We complained to the Home Town ppl and were told that only repairs can happen and replacement cannot happen since the warranty period has expired. I obviously do not want to repair the right side of the bed to have the left side break down another 2 months down the line - with my daughter sleeping on it so I asked them for a replacement credit note which has been refused.

                                      technically - they are right ofcourse. I would just advise all of you who are planning to purchase any furniture from Home Town to think twice. The furniture is largely china made and very poor quality. I think it is specifically mad not to last more than 14-15 months ! better to spend a little bit more and buy from Godrej Interio or even local players who would not hide a faceless organization...

                                      bed — broken

                                      I have purchased a bed from shop DREAM LAND at Patna.our bed was broken suddenly one month ago.we made complain so many times within one month . Unfortunately we get no reply...I think to contact CONSUMER FORUM if no response within a week.
