i have been overcharged by the counter staff for Rs.100. The dress material price says Rs.599, while the counter staff has charged Rs.699. this is not the first time that i have been overcharged by big bazaar. the counter staff keeps goofing up more often than not

BIG BAZAAR — Supply of defective furniture

The customer service and responsiveness of Big Bazaar leaves a lot to be desired. I had bought a Proton Metal Bed from Big Bazaar at Orchid City Centre, Mumbai in the last week of May'09. It has not been made functional till date since one leg was defective. For the past 3 weeks they have been promising to rectify the mistake but have not done so despite my 5 trips to chase it up. It seems they are just not equipped to handle customer grievances. The attitude of the salespersons is also totally nonchalant and they seem to suggest that one has to just sit back and wait for them to have mercy and attend to the problem. My advice to all - Only buy whatever is readily available off the shelves at Big Bazaar. For other items you need to depend on their customer service...which is non-existent!
i bought a sofa from big bazar .. within a months time the material got torn..

i have submitted a complain to them at least 20 times ... but they say it dosent come in warranted and all..

this is going on since last 7 months and still i get no result even when our of frustration agreed to pay what ever may be the cost., ,

the sofa i must add is work 27k ..

they are not willing to provide the details of the makers even..

i have written a mail to the sales that was provided online .. not by the ppl working there .. still i dont get any reply from there end..

is there any thing that can be done about it

    We had placed an order with HomeTown(Pantaloon Unit) in Bnagalore for a Kitchen Unit. The order was placed in October and paid for in full. HomeTown sent guys to take the dimensions that we needed. HomeTown had promised to deliver the product and fix it in 20 days. We waited for 20 days but to no avail. After repeatedly calling them, they did deliver the Unit(only delivery not fixing). Unfortunately it was not what we had ordered for since the measurements didn't match nor did the color with the one that we had ordered. This time round they said they'd take another 20 days. We waited patiently but to no avail. Again after repeatedly calling them and requesting them to finish the job since Christmas was approaching and we were expecting guests, we wanted the work to finish before. They again delivered another set of material which they claimed was ours in the first week December. Nobody came to fix it even after we called. This time round too the material delivered was not the same color we ordered. We were willing to compromise on that as long as the dimensions were correct. On 23rd December, in the evening at around 4:30 they sent some guys to fix it. The guys tore down the existing structure which included a sink and a platform and then said that the Unit was bigger then the dimensions we had ordered for. We were left without a sink just before the festival and the guests were to arrive. We requested the guys to come and finish the workn the next day. They promised to come the next day but didn't turn up. We then called the HomeTown office(24th December) and asked them to cancel our order and refund the money since we had suffered enough anguish over it. They promised to return the money but till date haven't done a thing. Would like to know how we can get back what they owe us .

    I definitely agree with you.

    When you guys, dont have the ability to keep up ur promises, don't ever give us, any false statements and waste our valuable time and money.

    Be geniune, in whatever you say. Even I would suggest, not to buy any deliverable goods from HOMETOWN, since they are not upto the mark of customer satisfaction.
    I faced also the same problem. Basically Hometown is not capable enough to deliver and install in proper time. For me they already took more than 3 months to install 2 bedroom wordrobes. But still one wordrobe installation is not done. When I asked them to take back the material and return my money they are telling this problem we are facing first time and we dont have option to cancel order but after above comment I feel it happens to all customers. So guys dont go with hometown. They are just false promiser . This company shouldbe black listed.
    Well Same happenned with me. I bought kitchen and wardrobes from Hometown noida. They said they will do the kitchen in 15 days, they however took two months. On top of that every time persons who visited us did not have the skills and neither the tools. Pathetic service. They have not learnt over time. I would also not at all recommend hometown kitchen.
    Bought Modular kitchen unit from Dura Cucine, Home Town, Marthahalli, Bangalore got installed on .10th June, 2015...
    1. Mr. Vinay, the sales in charge in service during the time of placing the order had convinced me that Dura Cucine deals with Hettich hardware only and showed me a big advertisement above his head to reiterate that it was Hettich and nothing but it, Dura Cucine deals with. So, I never questioned you later about the quality and brand of the hardware. This was completely negated when I got the product opened and installed to my great shock and despair. I can not bear this loss and I would request you to replace the hardware soon. I do not want to be fooled by the famous brand such a way.

    2. My order included a partition between MW oven and Bake oven. It is missing in the shipment.

    3. The draws below the hob are absolute failure. When I pull they get stuck and I spend my valuable time in pulling it slowly and my heart starts beating fast, praying it has to close perfectly. With my busy schedule, I do not have time to spend time on the draws and I would request you to give me two doors with a shelf there instead of tandem draws.

    4. Also, skirting hangs awkwardly and needs to be set properly. Kindly send your technician to solve this problem.

      Big Bazaar — HIGHER AND OVER PRICING

      Sir, I have purchased a product from Big Bazaar, they charged from higher price than MRP. In this case what should I do. Can I go to the consumer court. They say that they are selling at a very cheaper rate when they compared to others. But they sold at more price when compared to MRP. I am having bills paid at a higher prices. Please let me know.

      I purchased a lady suit from Big Bazaar and at the tile of purchase , big bazaar employee told me that i will get 50% discount on that but when i was biled they charged me full amount without giving me any discount.

      All these complaints sound so familiar. They have happened with me as well. I bought 2 diffrent kind of chairs from Furniture Bazar in the month of July07. One of them broke as their nuts fell off. The second one's leather base got torned off. Innumerable complaints have logged at the showroom from where I bought (Shipra Mall, Indirapuram) but all in vein. They have useless people with no commitments of what so ever. They give u time & u leave all your schedule behind for their chaps to arrive but no one turns up. They are trained for their expertise in ignoring customers. I had remineded so many times of my tele complaints & complaints which I had written in their dirty register (not at all methodical). I assume no one looks & review to those complaints. They treat their customers like puny. They dont even refuse that they cant help or service, at least then we will not complain.
      I have decided for not buying any such product from them & would not recommend any one even dare to buy from them.
      They have to reform their staff who should keep their promise if made.
      I have purchased a Fully Automatic Washing Machine, Model-GWF580A, against bill no.- T 21/39772 dated 30/03/08 from Big Bazar, EDM Mall, Ghaziabad.
      Leakage problem was noted at first operation and lodged a complaint to call center. Complaint no. was 140709 dated 09/04/08. Service Engineer came and examined tub leakage. I have made complaint for the same dated 10/04/08 vide complaint no.-141559.
      I have lodge a complaint to Big Bazar also on 13/04/08.
      I have made regular follow up with call center as well as Big Bazar but no action is taken till now.

      i purchased ac on 11th april from furniture bazaar mulund.
      the ac supose to dilivered on 14/april tey delivered the ac on 16 april again for insatallation the person was supposed to come on the same day.regarding the same i spoke to furniture bazaar people but all the time they have excusse for everythig.

      I have purchased monthly grocery from Big Bazaar on 6/5/2008 of the Amt 2033.50/-. when i went at home & another day when i checked the goods i was shocked that oneproduct i.e. SAFFOLA SUNFLOWER OIL costing 599.01 was missing. When they packed the goods then didn’t packed the OIL CAN.when i left the shop the time was 10.30PM. This is happening second time with me from the same branch of big bazaar (Wardhaman Nagar, Nagpur) the sales persons are doing these type of things with the customer regularly last time i didn't complaint but after such issue i did so. If i don't get the OIL CAN quickly them i will take serious action against it.I am your regular customer from last 4 years but from few months this is happening . You also be serious otherwise big thing will happen.
      Cheating by Furniture bazaar shipra mall Ghaziabad

      I purchased a study table from Furniture Bazaar Shipra mall Ghaziabaad. The table was delivered after two days. When the person from furniture bazzar came to assemble it we found that some parts were broken. We complaint several time to the shop but no one is ready to listen. And why should day when they got full money in advance. These people are really cheat.

      I will not recomend any one to shop from Furniture Bazaar, Big Bazaar.

      BIG BAZAAR — Problem in bill

      I have purchased some food products from big bazar on 28th Aug2008. My bill number is T43/10658. They have shown a discount of rs 77.95/-. But there is no deduction of above amount in my bill's total amount payable. Even they are unable to tell me where i got this discount. I want to know why the company is giving such type of bill to which the customer as well as their employees are unable to understand.

      BIG BAZAAR — Parts not complete

      I purchased some furniture including a chair from BIG BAZAR Ambience Mall vide Slip No. 769 dated 30.8.2008 when the same was delivered to me there were some parts of the chair missing in the packing and the fitter who had accompanied said he would bring these parts in one or two days. After that I have not heard from them at all and it has become difficult even to contact them. All phone calls are diverted to irrelevant people who say they can not do any thing. The chair of Rs. 2500 is lying un-assembled and useless for me. I would urge BIG BAZAR to immediately do the needful.

      I selected some of the cloths and go to Cash counter for billing. There was a queue, i joined the queue as well. Suddenly some lady comes and stand ahead of me. I politely ask to be in queue. She misbehave me and other person who are come with her pulled me from queue and start misbehaving me. I shout security security but no one comes. After a long argue with the mens, i go to call security guard, he hesiatate to come. The men said again & again call security, lets see what they will do. I am harrased. The security guards donot help me at all and keep on watching the persons that are misbehaving me. Nobody interfere. Security are neutrals there.
      I am very upset with these monks and also say to others don't go there atleast with family.
      No one is there for take care for you. They don't care if some beat or misbehave. They are just selling nothing to take care for peoples.

      Big Bazar is making fool o[censored]s, cheap quality products at higher price and worst consumer support I have ever seen.We must certainly use your consumer right.
      Even I have been cheated many times, and this time its was height, I had purchased a pair of shoe worth Rs.775 and the shoe got torn within 10 days when I went their on 14th day they said, if there is any damage after 7 days they will not be responsible .Very funny the manager said probably, I have misused the shoes, I don't understand how can one misuse the shoes.when I said, if this is their attitude towards the customers, I need to go to the consumer court, he said, I should better go and do what I want to.So I have completed all the formalities and I will do so.
      One more thing I have experienced that the discount they display while shopping are not considered in the bill and many o[censored]s don't check the bill, I always check the bill there itself and several times there was a mistake in the bill and they had to refund my money .
      so a request to all of you, please check your bill there itself .

      We, as a customer have full right to raise our voice against such dadagiri of these stores.

      Big Bazaar, Koramangala — Debit Card Cheating in Big Bazaar

      Sir,

      I lost my purse in a bus(no:500C) in Bangalore. When I travelled from Udupi Garden Signal to Silk board. This happened at around 2:50pm(20/10/2008). I had two debit cards in my purse. One was from ICICI bank and the other was a Corporation Bank Debit card. I immediately blocked my ICICI card through customer care. When I rushed to the nearest Corporation Bank(BTM Branch at BTM Water tank) to block my Corporation Bank card, at around 3:30pm, the bank people checked my account details and told that the card has been misused twice in Big Bazaar and the culprits have purchased for nearly 7500 Rupees from Big Bazaar, Koramangala. I have the bank statements as proof that these transactions happened at 3:16 pm and 3:20 pm each. I was shocked to know that the Big Bazaar Billing section people have encouraged this by not checking for the proper Signature and identity details of the Card holder while swiping the card. As a consumer I want to file a complaint against, Big Bazaar Koramangala Branch, for their carelessness in swiping card while billing, also for not indulging in proper verification for card holder and signature verification. Please advice on the steps to be taken against this cheating.

      Big Bazaar — Customer Service

      They always say they are the cheapest in the consumer goods market and I totally agree with that as customers' dignity and respect are treated at cheaper rates at Big Baazar. My husband and I have shopped at Bangalore outlets of BB more than just once to check if it happened again and without fail it happened everytime. Those employess are not at all helpful, they are more interested in getting together and chatting than assisting the customers.They don't know what they have in the stock and when asked they are too lazy to search anything for the customers.Hardly any care is shown to any customer neither they volunteer to assist.

      This one time when we were in the plastic section, we found an opened box which was supposed to have 21 plastic boxes inside.Since it was already open, I wanted to confirm there were 21 pieces inside and that was the only box with the color I wanted.The woman over there told me not to open it.I told her I wanted to check if there were 21 pieces but she wouldn't allow me to do that and said she didn't how to put them back in it, so won't let me check.I don't know what are they paid for.As said, it's very cheap there.

      Billing is inappropriate most of the time and at the billing they spend time talking to each other than paying attention to the customer.They look like having least importance for time.

      I haven't seen such a cheap act anywhere and I have firmly decided to campaign against them in my close circle.Hope the word of mouth spreads fast.I'm going to write about it in my blog and spread awareness in people.

      I totally agree that their customer service sense suck.I'm sure the heads who run this chain don't need to be treated with dignity and respect and therefore no importance for customers either.Aren't you guys ashamed of your disgusting act???????

      I have experienced the same thing and now I have stopped shopping there.For me, being cheap pricewise doesn't matter, all that matters to me is the was I'm treated.

      Dear Officer,

      This complaint is regarding to partial delivery of products. I had purchased a iron bed with matress & two pillow of 27nth Sept'08 from Big Bazar EM Bypass Kolkata and made the payment immediately. The furniture section manager (Mr. Parimal) had assured me that you will get the material with in seven days with installation at your home. But I had received only bed and matress after 12 days of billing.

      I have not received pillow till date (13/11/2008) and I had made so many calls to customer care and Mr. Parimal also but not getting a fix date of delivery of Pillow. Two times I had personally visit the store for pillow but answer was "Jab stock main honga to home delivery kar denge".

      Please help and deliver the item.

      Big Bazaar — Non compliance

      I live in the town of Darjeeling where Big Bazaar has been running for a year or so. They usually do as all the big companies do with lots of promises of quality services.

      Few weeks we bought various appliances from there and during the purchase of which we were told to call on the provided numbers if any problem was there regarding the functioning of those appliances.

      as now we have started to use the appliance and have had problems and upon calling the big bazaar, no one answers the phone.

      is there anything more horrible that.

      Now in future why should i purchase any thing from that store.

      BIG BAZAAR/ Metal Bed with Mattress — Product is not delivered yet after 15 days

      I have purchased a metal bed with matress from Big Bazar (Kandivali) on 14-Dec-2008. Challan no is 1672. I have done the full payment of product by my debit card. they assured me that product will deliver with in 4-5 days. but still I have not received the product. I called many times to them and everytime they are telling we will deliver it today tomorrow definately but the stuation is same. I have taken 1 leave from office so that I can recive the product but the delivery is not came. Now I am frustrated with this company and want you to interfare in this matter. Since I am unnecssary westing my time for waiting them.

      BIG BAZAAR — Bad quality product, Delay delivery, No Response

      We bought 8 items from Big Bazar Pune, Kothrud branch. After full payment delivery was delayed by 15 days (30 days from date of purchase + 15 days). Delivery was done in batches and every time it was promised to install the furniture in next 2 days. After 2 months installation begins, 4 items did not had all the element to install the furniture, 5 items were damaged. As of today 2 glasses are broken and yet there is no reply from them. I had to take 4 days off and visit the branch, we must have made 200+ calls to them for delivery, installation and complains.
      I had purchased furniture (Study Tabel and Shoe Rack) the delivery was made after repeated phone calls. Delivery was wrong as the colour was not as per payment. The furniture was not assembled after repeated request. All payment was made in advance.

      I think time has changed and customer right and privillage should be looked into

      THIS COMPLAINT IS REGARDING FURNITURE PURCHASED FROM BIG BAZAAR ALLAHABAD.       I've purchased a LG refridgerator and Bajaj food processor on 3rd Jan 2009 in Chennai Big Bazzar. They said they would be delivered goods with free gift of Oven (koryo) within 10th of Jan 2009. Today is 16th of Jan 2009. So far they have not delivered the goods. What should i do? What action can be taken against them?

      Yes this is fact Big bazaar peoples are cheaters.. i purchased Philips DVD Player and Philips Home Theater, on 25-Jan-2009, from Big Bazaar Ambala cantt. while procuring the products i ask them to check the items, they said this is not required as it tested by company and 100% OK, , i was fool so i believe on that . and when i checked the things at my home i found that the home theater was used one, they have repacked that, after using or may be some body has used and sent back to BB. and woofer was faulty, it is giving some odd noise while playing.. so i called them, they said due to heavy rush not possible to entertain the thing you can come after 27th, i went there on 27 and asked them to check product. while testing engr said there is no problem in woofer . so i ask him to check the it properly then he realize that there is some noise in woofer.. he said he will replace the unit, now while cheking in there store he said there is no other home theatre of the same configuration available i ask them to refund my amount as they dont have new unit. they said they cant refund electronic items. they will demand new one and it will take 10-15 days, but i request them to refund the amount but till date there is no action on that. i think this was my last shopping from BB my billing details are Cash Memo t 24/2930 dt. 25/01/2009 Product code [protected] philips -sp080 4390.00
      Yes even I have bitter experience from there.

      I have purchased Awashing machine of KORYO brand just few months back, Now i found some problem in its working and though i have complained 2 times this BIGBAZAAR guys are not sending anybody to repair the part. Not only this they are giving foolish execuses also that we have to ordered this part form banglore... so wht i have paid for the machine and know i want its service, at the time of selling this guys say that they will take care of proper servicing but at the time when they have to provide service they are hiding themselves with excuses.
      as i got sms form HDFC bank that on purchase of 800Rs. you will get off 200Rs. from that point of view i went for purchasing in ur outlook located in kothrud.

      while billing when i shown my sms one o[censored]r representative told that u have to go to another counter number 12. then i gon to him i asked what is this? that guy told that i dont no & he gsve me 8 cupons of 25 rupee & then i asked him how to use it he told so rashly that i dont no please read coupens.or just go to cash counter he will manage every thing & again i told him that cash counter person send me here to discuss to u then again he answered me i[censored] want to take, take it or let it be we dont have time

      Partial deliver of item.1 out of 4 items worth~5K INRs not yet delivered Since 1.5 months. Now they are offerring me to by an alternate item. They have kept the money for so long. Its the absence of basic business ethhics. I have been in touch with Sushanth reddy, Raju naik and Sayyed M but it is totally disgusting service. They have not even provided the tax invoice for the rest of the items. All that I have is a xerox copy of the deliveery challan!
      Purchased dining set in Jan 2009. chairs are so week that legs are bent and twisted and fasteners are loose . Lodged complaints but no satisfactory solution yet. Soooooo risky to sit

      Big-Bazaar — Delivery not on time

      I bought Water purifier but due to non avaibillity, they promised to deliver after 2 days so i was supposed to get it on Monday...but today also they are saying wait for 2 days more...and whenever I call him, every time they make fake comments.

      Big Bazaar — Poor Quality & Unethical behavior of staff

      DEAR SIR/MADAM,

      The products sold at big bazar are always inferior quality & the attitude of the staff handling are so bad that it doesn't seems they are interested in customer satisfaction. Self visit to Big bazar Kandivili (E) staff Mr. Sanjay / Suresh Jaiswal.
      I have puchased a gas stove from big bazzar on 14th of march 09.
      In next 4-5 days one of the burner is not working.
      I had raised an issue to customer care of bug bazzar to mentaion the gas stove.
      But till now no one is came to my home to repair my stove.

      I am still waiting for some one reponse.

      I am shocked to see all the above complaints..I thought I was the only one with the problem with big bazaar service. I bought a koryo fride in Sept...it broke down in March, The engineer came when I registered a complaint and said the relay was faulty and they would replace the same under the warantee. Since then no other action has taken place. I keep ringing the service centre and they say they will send a person in one or two days time...this way 2.5 months of summer have passed without our having a working fridge...this is ridiculous.

      I think we should all get together and take these people to consumer court otherwise they do not care.

      I purchased a Samsaung Washing Machine from Big Bazaar, MG Marg, Civil Lines, Allahabad (a division of Future Group) on 21st June 09 (Sunday) and owing to anavailibilty of delivery man on the same day, Big Bazaar executives promised to deliver the good at my residence next day.
      Next day on 22nd Jun, the delivery man dumped the good and went away. When the carton was unclosed, we found a dent on the outer body of the washing machine and a sticker was pasted over it haphazardly. We called Big Bazaar immediately and they assured to replace the good. From then onwards till today 25th June, they are hanging the issue and beating around the bush. Earlier they promised to deliver the same product, now they are asking to take whirlpool instead. I want the same product or my money back, for which they are going about circles and not replying affirmatively. The customer care executives are now disconnecting or avaoiding calls also.
      I am very dissappointed.

      Same here. I bought a full Impiana Bed room set( Bed+wadrobe+dresser+side table+night stand) and a mattress at a hopping price of about 37K!! They delivered the bedroom set in 5 days time but without the mattress! it is being more than 10 dyas, they have not delivered the mattress and can not even give a date for the same! The delivery boys took 500/- just to lift the furnitures to 2nd floor!!!On top of that, they sent their person to set up the furnitures on 10th day after the purchase was made and that too after several phonoe calls and requests!!This is not all, the furnitures that they sent has scraches in it, but the guys who came to set up the furniture seemed to be too casual about it and did not at all pay any consideration to that. One thing is for sure, i will never buy any heavy item( neither I will reccomend any one ) from Big Bazzar...they may be a "big bazaar", but perhaps they are a bazaar of cheap goods with cheapest level of services!
      We went in to Mangalore, so called Big Bazaar on Sunday (21.06.09). With in 5 minutes, we pick up an HAIER fridge without anybody help.
      As the department guys were also present on the spot next to us & didn't even care a damn o[censored]s.
      We asked for an immediate delivery & it was refused because of Sunday.
      Later, on Monday between 2.00-3.00pm we received the fridge.

      We switched on the fridge & kept all the beauty items that need to be placed in...
      The next day we came across that the fridge wasn't working & couple of products went waste...
      We called big bazaar & we weren’t given proper feedback & the guys were jus hiding behind the bush. Excuses were giving & they fail to escalate it to need person.

      After which, we called up the customer care & placed a compliant (No.[protected]) & were given 24 hrs for the service guys to reach.

      A guy calls up for the same & informs that he will be there at 3.00pm & he fails to come in & later we had to call & cross check for the same & another 24hrs was taken.

      The guy finally reaches around 3.00pm (Thursday) & conveyed that the fridge has lost its gas. The guy said that needs to be refilled.

      We weren’t comfortable with the refilling that too in the new fridge which was hardly used.
      So, we told them to replace the fridge.

      Too much of escalations have been happening…. With “No” solutions.
      Technical guys are trying to console us for the refill & not replacement….

      We are standing firm… Only replacement!!!
      If not, money needs to be refunded…
      This was bought from so called Big Bazaar.

      Please don’t visit this place as they sell only defective items & we don’t want you to run behind them ... like us….

      Big Bazaar/ Furniture Bazaar — Inadequate Service/ harrasment

      I purchased a bedroomset from Furniture Bazar, Shipra Mall, Indirapuram, Ghaziabad. But to my horror I faced problems one after another.

      1. Delayed installation. I was promised that it would be installed on 5 August 2009. But noone came on that day. Next day, their boys came at 8.30 pm. Half installation was done.

      2. Wardrobe handles are not fiiting to the holes already there. They are bigger.

      3. No one is picking up the phone at their shop.

      I recomend that people should not purchase any thing from this furniture bazar.

      BIG BAZAAR — Non-Delivery of the product even after 1 month

      We bought a sofa set and bedroom set from big bazaar on 15th August 09 with a promise that it will be delivered within 15 days. Till date they have not been delivered! We have tried to contact them on various numbers. But either they dont pick up the calls or say that they will call back with the status, which they never do. And if we ask for a date for the delivery, they keep saying within 3-4 days. We have talked to their manager personally and he gives a similar promise which hasnt come true yet....I have no idea when our things are going to be delivered and its a shame after investing a huge amount of 38,000 on this!!!

      BIG BAZAAR — Non delivery of products till 3 days due delivery date

      Dear Sir,
      I had booked computer trolley from Big Baazar ,Fatima Nagar, Pune with the assurance that the delivery will be made very next day which is written on the payment bill. Today it is the third day and still there has been no proper answer from the department / manager of Big Baazar about the availability of product , that also after delivery assurance given at the time of full payment ! I have faced a loss of Rs 5000 because of non delivery. There is no response from Big Baazar yet on my complaint.

      Big Bazaar — incorrect pricing

      Hi, I had purchased Gemini Soya oil from Big bazaar , Mysore Road branch on 2nd OCtober, 2009. I had bought 10 packets of oil and the MRP mentioned on each packet was Rs.75/- and they had billed for the same value. When I reached home and checking the bill, I realised that the price of the oil was Rs. 75/- whereas all the shops in the city are selling for Rs.54/-. Big bazaar was selling this product more than the market price.

      On contacting Bigbazaar, they refused to refund the difference value. If bigbazzar selling a product with the difference of Rs.24/- per liter, pls calculate the value of the money they are making by fooling the customers.

      This is not a issue of Rs.240/ - which I have lost but the bad business practive this company is following. I wrote a mail to Mr.Kishore Biyani, head of pantaloon group and there is no reply to my mail.

      Please stay away from such a fraudulant company and please spread a word to all not to buy at Bigbazaar.

      A frequent visitor of BB Mulund for home shop, 2 weeks ago I visited for home shopping and found the food bazar section specially vegetables and fruit zone were completely mess no cleanines and cocroches and others insects were vulturing seeing all these I was about to faint. Other instance on same day was about mineral water I went to BB canteen there I took one mineral water and found the pkd date of June'09 and now the current month is nov'09. Having asked them were replied to me that by mistake would have happend to making their statment false I asked them to show me few more they showed me atleast 3 -4 mineral water but pkd date were same as june'09.

      I told them boss, you all are playing with the life of people.

      You can have a system wrong once or twice but if it is always there that means it is made to do so. Same story seems to be there with Big Bazaar billing. No matter what I bought, I always have the pain of overpaying which made me to decide not to go for them. Today itself they charged the saem item twice , which I checked when I reached home.       Big Bazaar — Bed broken due to wrong installation

      this is a grievance against a double bed purchased from BIG BAZAR Indore MP ( purchased on 29/05/09)
      on january2010 it was found that the plywood were cracked which on further investigation by big bazar service team was found that the plywood got cracked due to wrong installation of the bed
      further till now nothing has been done yet for the damage as it all occured due to wrong installation of the furniture ( the installation was a part of BIG BAZAR furniture team )
      No body is listening to us and we feel being cheated
      we have already complained about delay in delivery of products, I paid rs. 59900 on 26.01.2010 towards bill no.T49/859 for one LG microwave oven, LG washing machine, PHILIPS water purifier, SAMSUNG lcd tv(4 products) to Mr.Karthick (cash incharge electronics) Mr.junaid (sales man) at Big bazaar T.Nagar branch(prefered delivery date was (2/02/2010) . We did not get any proper reply from both your staff even after calling them repeatedly and then i mailed an complain on 10.02.2010 . I still did not get any reply from your staff or through mail from your side till date . We went to your showroom on 12.02.2010 and spoke about this to your floor manager Mr.Anto .He intoduced us to another salesman Mr.Hari on 12.02.2010, He promised us about delievering the products on 14.02.2010 in written .Even he didnt keep up his promise and we got microwave oven delievered at our place by Mr.Junaid with Girias Invesments pvt. ltd's bill on 14.02.2010 . We dint noticed the bill and kept the product with us and recieved balance products on 15.02.2010. The delivery boy reached our residence around 11.00pm and said the bills were lost. when we contacted BIG BAZZAR(Mr.Junaid)they said they will send the bills the next day. Till today we have not received any bills.Mr. junaid promised us that he will replace the PHILIPS water purifier which was a 2007 model with a big scratch on it and with a torn box. Till day they have not replaced it.after 1month on the 26th of febuary an LG person came for an microwave demo and declaired that the machine had to be replaced but as the bill was not in our name, we are in a SOUP!! Do you think we customers are fools to pay money in advance and wait for our products.

      Pantaloon Retail India Ltd, Big Bazaar — Cheating on offers

      Pantaloon Retail India Ltd's, Big Bazaar has given a naya kharido and purana exchange karo offer valid till March 21 2010, in which in the advertisements it is clearly mentioned that you exchange any old items like footwear, clothes etc.
      But to my surprise when i went with all my old footwear which was huge, they only sorted out leather items from it and handed over a coupon worth 80 Rs only and the remaining footwear was thrown off.
      When i enquired about this the authorities justified that only leather footwear is exchanged but i asked it was not mentioned anywhere, they gave some stupid answers.

      So this kind of cheating is done by Pantaloon Retail India Ltd's, Big Bazaar authorities with normal customers who are swayed by the Delightful offers but are all fake.

      I was planning to purchase one metal bed from Big bazar, But now definatly will not purchase.
      Cash Agent took around 20-25 min to do the billing in our case, no one is there to manage the things

      I was regular customer of big bazaar since long time more than 4 years. One day I went Bigbazar and bought a small cooker (Prestige). After 7 day it blast. Thanks God we escaped.
      The ballast was awesome .Apart from safety valve everything was damage. My wife went with this complaint to big bazaar (patia) they told visit Prestige service center at CRP.
      Next day I went there and because the customer care guys has not given the full details they just told at CRP we spent lot of time to locate the service center but finally when we reached there the shop was closed before time. It was frustrating, next day we went back to Bigbazar (patia) and asked for changed this cooker . They told they will call once they will get the report from Prestige Service center how it damage. After 5 days they called and when we went there they have just repaired the damage and told to use this. First I thought, Are they Joking !!!

      They have not replace with new cooker and told to use the repair one. Once I did the mistake to buy Prestige cooker, do you think how repaired cooker will work when new was blast without opening the valve. I left the cooker there and told I do not want to keep bomb in my kitchen if you can give me new cooker I will use otherwise I will not use this cooker.

      After 1 month I have not receive any call, they just took my cooker and sit quite. They do not have any customer delight. I spend more than 200 Rs in petrol coming here and there, probably I could have added some more money and get new one from ordinary shot.

      After this case happens I never went Bazaar again and decided to bring daily accessory from local market.

      Still I am waiting for their reply, I have video of the blast seen, I can file case gained them but I will not do so …

      Food Bazaar / Big Bazaar — Billing problem

      Yesterday (18/03/10) i visited Big Bazar pune and purchased some food products along with some cosmetics. We payed the bill and after coming home when i cross checked the price with each components i found a huge difference in one product.

      Actual rate of 500g green peace (Wattana Green) was 16 Rs and they have billed it 449 Rs..... The difference is 433 Rs.... Then i went back and when talked with customer support and got my money refunded. The customer support guy behaved like he was waiting for the customers with this complaint. He spoke very politely and said so many sorry and all....

      After returning from there i realized the fact. They might have purposefully put a huge price and the customer who cross checks the bill and comes with complaint will be refunded.

      They also know that 70% of the customers doesnt cross check the bill especially when they are doing monthly purchase. There will more 50 items and who will try for a cross check. What i feel personally is they are doing it regularly and cheating the customers......

      Now onwards i will never buy from Big Bazars or malls and even if i have to i will cross check the bills.....

      BIG BAZAAR — Cheating and making fool of public

      These days, Big Bazzar has launched a scheme of Exchange, where one can sell the old cloths, news papers etc and get the coupens. These Coupens can encashed on purchases from big bazzar.

      I availed the scheme and sold the cloths worth Rs. 2030/- and i was given the coupens. I was happy and started the purchases. I purchased the material worth Rs. 3500/-. At the time of billing i was told that the coupens worth Rs. 440/- only will be encashed and balance has to be paid in cash, as the scheme is that for purchase of Rs 800/-, only coupen of Rs. 100/- will be taken. I was astonished. In all the advertisements given in the papers and media, no where it is mentioned about this fact of ratio of 1 : 8. I had to give cash for the balance. It means for spending the entire coupens of Rs. 2030/-, i will have to make the purchase of Rs. 16,000/-. (is it possible for a middle class person).

      Further from the sealed box of Good Night Advanced, the refill was found missing. When tried to inform them, the telephone numbers were either busy or no response.

      I feel that in all the Big bazzar is playing and making fool of public and is doing fraud with the public, with no control of Govt. on such issues.

      I would recommend all reading this review, please please don’t ever go to big bazzar other wise they will cut your pockets. Please don’t avail this exchange scheme. It is better to give old cloths to the poor instead of giving them to Big Bazzar and making fool of yourself.

      Buyed 2 packet of rajhma 1kg each from vasant kunj big bazaar outlet and both packets had insects found inside. When wanted to return the packet to my surprise i came to knew it was expired product which was kept on selves for sale....who is responsible for the damages that can occur due to intake of such food.

      Big Bazaar — Installation of AC not done

      I had purchased a KORYO Split AC of 1 ton from Big Bazaar,Maxus Mall, Bhyander West on 8th May, 2010.

      The installation was promised to be done on 10th May, 2010.

      Till date ..no one has contacted for installation.

      This is to bring into your notice that i Mr. Ajinder Pal Singh partner of Ajanta Associates had purchased two window AC's an 8 split AC's for my hotel METRO INN.I did my payment through cheque on 1/03/10.Your staff had promissed me to place my order within 2 days, but after two days when I called they said that they cant provide us the AC's within a few days.Then I called up Mr.Jha from Calcutta whose mobile no. is [protected] and contacted him and told him the matter.Then after that on 7/03/2010 we received two window AC's with bill number T22/6499 and after calling them so many times on 19/03/10 we received 8 split Ac's with bill number T44/4138.After few days those 2 split AC's didnt work on account of this i called Mr Vinay with phone no.       This is regarding the gift voucher mentioned on advertisement papers & leaflet we had purchased videocon refrigerator modelno-VAP2332010(BAR CODE [protected] on 14 th August our bill no T19/32215, the bigbazar people had promised that voucher worth rupees 2400 of Reebok will be delivered on delivery at home ,at the time of delivery after 7 days the voucher we didnt recieved , the delivery person told they are not informed for that voucher, we went twice to bigbazaar to cliam the voucher the customer service desk informed that they will repy in 24 hours till today they have not replied, it seem that this is just gimmicks to sell the products.I dont expect this kind of treatment for the customer for Company like Bigbazaar.Now i will take this issue to print media so that Bigbazaar should be aware that the consumers ar not fools.

      On 9th October 2010 i went Big bazaar kalyani nagar pune for shopping. I pin car parking my car's rear side logo hyundai symbol was stolen by somebody in parking. I observed this after coming to hom
      Big Bazar Allahabad was good when it was new. It is now putting its full strength to become a matter of shame to allahabad. Big bazar Allahabad center have many genuine working staff but the security personals of the Big bazar allahabad are just useless. It can be seen almost everyday that they create an issue to trouble the customers at Bigbazar allahabad. They find their peace of mind in troubling the customers especially the young couples and ladies. The security people themselves are loose in their duties and don't even know their duties. The customers walk inside the stores with many products that they have bought from outside the store. These so called guards of Bigbazar allahabad don't even make a small effort to mark these products. When the customers is moving outside the store they create a big issue that the customers has not paid for the items. Bigbazar Allahabad guards want the customers to pay for the items that they have not bought from the store. Afterwards they take the customers to the back office and create a big issue there creating humiliating situations for the customers. They stand in groups enjoying the angry conversation between the customer and the staff.

      The useless Bigbazar security team then warns the customer that they will see the truth in the camera, but more humiliating is that when the customers boldly asks them to watch the truth, they have no cameras installed or they are not working. It is too humiliating when the guards create a fake issue as if the customers have robbed the product. They even don't have cameras to watch the truth or marked products to differentiate them. At the end they all hide under the hood and send some other employee to complete the formalities of apologies and getting the customer out of the Allahabad big bazar center. It can be really a bad experience if you are planning to visit the Allahabad Big bazar. Allahabad Big Bazar appears less a bazar and more a fish market o[censored]ntrained security men and some untrained staff. I would never advice any of the young people to visit such a place. To the managers of Allahabad Big Bazar I would say that they should try to improve themselves in the way of talking and try to place some responsible and polite security men in the store premises.

      BIG BAZAAR — charged for the product not purchased

      I have been charged for the product which i did not purchased from big bazar on 4th nov, but when i visit on 9th nov to grt it resolved, i was told that i have bought the product and cant help, i agree that at time of payment i did not check the bill, but i visit mall manager not ready to listen, even i askd them to check video whether i had purchased the product or not, i have been charged 656 extra on my bill for the unpurchased prduct.I REALY DON’T KNOW WHETHER SOMEBODY IN YOUR COMPANY WILL CHECK THIS COMPALIN OR NOT , BUT ONE THING IS FOR SURE PEOPLE WILL COME TO KNOW THAT “ BIG BAZAAR CHEATS CUSTOMERS”

      Yes, I strongly agree this, faced this OVER BILLING problem yesterday (4th Dec 2010). I bought groceries in Big Bazzar and I was billed for around Rs. 2500. With little bit of confusion in my mind that how this much amount would be??? and paid that amount and returned to home. Since I am not compromised on this bill and I checked all the Items with the bill, its SHOCKING - they billed an item called "Shy-09-ctn, XL, OLIV" for Rs.349 which I have not bought and moreover I don’t know what this item is??? Immediately I called the BIG Bazzar, nobody picks up my call. Then I directly went and asked Customer Care about this wrong billing. They said "Sorry sir, Its system issue. May be the bar code scanner scanned a wrong item". The highlight here is, they don’t know the name of the Item so called "Shy-09-ctn, XL, OLIV". And one more thing, if you notice the bill amount of each item with the price tag of an item, it may not match (like, "PH Mung 500g", in price tag : Rs 55, in bill : Rs.65).

      Decided that, I will never step into BIG BAZZAR in future.

      Big Bazaar — adulteration

      I purchased millet 500gm from Big Bazaar situated in Express Avenue royapetta 3 days back. When i opened the pack i came to know that pesticide was mixed with that. Even after so many washed the smell didn't go, so i didn't consume it.

      We made a purchase of refridgerator and geyser on 25th Dec 2010 at BIG BAZAR. The items are not delivered even after 10 days... The delivery incharge cell number was switched off and the customer care representtative will surely promise of timings like 12.30 pm, 2.30 pm foir the delivery but ALL FALSE PROMISES...
      it is also the responsibility of the consumer to check the products bought.same case happened to me but on the next day they have returned the cash voucher for purchasing any other product equvalent to the amount.

      Big Bazaar — Excessive delay and reckless attitude

      On 26th Jan 2011, I booked a washing machine at Big Bazaar Bangalore in the hopes of saving a few bucks. The sales person said that the item would be delivered within a maximum of 10 days and the estimated time was around 7 days.

      15 days have passed, the item hasn't been delivered yet. After repeated follow-ups with the delivery manager and their call center, they have (once more) promised to deliver it by Monday 14th Feb 2011.

      The thing is these big players are least worried about the consumer as people are flooding their shops whenever an offer is anounced. I don't know whether we consumers understand our rights and exercise them. Its high time we people understood that and take things seriously..

      I mean if a 'big' retailer cannot deliver a simple item like a washing machine, why should they advertise at all? Also there are no strikes by truck operators or the like. With no such problems, why should these people delay the delivery? The reason is these so called market leaders take consumers for granted.

      In hindsight I feel that I should have ordered for the washing machine from a local 'small bazaar' retailer. I would have become poorer by 500 bucks or maximum a thousand, but I would not have had this mental agony of repeated follow-ups. As if we are waiting for the freebies from our government.

      What a pity!!!

      Big Bazaar Salt Lake — delayed delivery of goods & irresponsible behaviour

      I had purchased a study table on 26 JAN'11 which was to be delivered on 14Feb'11.I waited for the whole day but it was not delivered nor any response from BIG BAZAAR came regarding it. On calling number of time,they just gave me phone no. of different people & shedding off their responsibilities. Finally after a lot of pestering it was delivered on 17/2/11, with fittings to be done the following day.Again the same story was repeated.Till now i.e.19/2/11 has passed & was waiting for the fitting personnel ,which with every call was to come within an hour .Before the sale they are obliging but after they took cash they are least bothered & are now making different excuses. All the pleads are falling on deaf ears.If they cannot keep to their commitments they should refund the money.

      BIG BAZAAR — Failed to Deliver on Time

      Bigbazar has made us await till one month for delivery of a koryo 21 inch tv and then after regular follow ups finally they confirmed that they are unable to deliver the tv as the tv is out of stock. We have blocked our money for one month and while regular follow ups they were making false promises of the delivery. We had such a poor experience with big bazar we recommend to avoid this brand if you want your product to be delivered on time.
      I had a similar experience shopping in big bazaar t'nagar branch. booked a led sony tv on 20 march, still waiting to hear the date when they can deliver. with the exchange offer, i hear most them have blocked their money on few tv orders. even the store manager has admitted his inability to help. it is my worst experience till date.

        An horrible experience after waiting for one whole day for the delivery to be done of television purchased and paid for. Being on hold, being transfered number of times and everytime being told to wait for 10 minutes. Its just been an untolerable and awful example of customer service.

          We purchased a Whirlpool refrigerator on 29th December'07 from Big Bazaar, Hyderabad.
          we had asked to deliever the refrigerator on 30th December'07.
          They have not turned up yet.
          Besides repeated calling them and asking them to deliver the refrigerator, they are doing so.
          Moreover, they do not give a proper response on phone.
          They keep giving the phone to different persons and each one has a different answer to give.

          The same incedent had happened to me that i purchased whrilpool refrigerator 23 elite steel 230 ltrs on 8th december from hebbal bangalore store and was promised to deliver within weeks time but made me to wait till know thats today 03012008 i dont know whats the problem with these people

          Big Bazar/Whirlpool Refrigerator — Non delivery of refrigerator as per schedule

          I am not logging any complaints for Big Bazar though I have one because I am seeing a lot of complaints logged but no response.

          Can any body tell me where to exactly log a complain to get a better response .
          This happened to me also. I purchased a whirlpool fridge from big bazaar (old madras road), bangalore and they delivered me the wrong fridge model. Now I have to call them daily and they assure that it will get delivered tomorrow morning latest. Even their manager doesn't pick up the phone.
          I have ordered a Cot and was promised delivery on 29th to be fitted on 30th. But the people reached the house and delivered partially the dissembled goods on 30th.They told that it will reach on 31st the complete set which will be fitted on 31st.I am still waiting. It is 31st 7:30 pm. Let me tell you chennai tnagar home delivery service is very lousy.They dont value the customers once you pay them. Be careful and put across to them that they will safely deliver the goods on time.

            Hello sir, I hope you will understand my problem and you will help me. On 1st of dec i have placed an order on futurebazaar.com and select payment mode of ITZ card(CCAVENUE). I have cancelled that order on 3rd dec because i need that money i.e Rs. 4495 for my operation. So i have contacted my merchant to refund me my money, they told me that we can only refund the amount with the same payment method. I have told them on 3rd dec that i have thrown that ITZ card after using it. So please don`t refund the amount in that ITZ card. They replied ok. They give me satisfaction that we will contact ITZ card customer service and help you to know the account number and password so that you can use my money. I called them daily and spent a lot of STD on calling them to know about my money. I have told them a lot of times that please refund me my amount through cheque. On 11 th december their executive told me that we can place a fresh order in place of my old order number: [protected]. I replied that i will think about it. Next day i called them and replied ok, then they told me that we have refunder your amount in your lost ITZ card on 5th of december, and we can`t help ypu in any way. we are not responsible for your any money and we can`t help you and disconnected my phone call. I m really in a very big problem. I m really in such a big loss. I have contacted ITZ cash, Ccavenue, futurebazaar.com. but noone can help me except futurebazaar.com, but they don`t want to help me. I belongs to a middle class family and can`t bare such a big loss. I want my money back. Please help me i[censored] can. I shall be very thankful to you. I called them daily that don`t transfer my money to my ITZ card, i have sent them about 60 e-mails regarding this and 100 phone calls for the same.

              Dear TEAM,
              I would like to raise my voice with your help against the bad sales practice of the FUTURE GROUP. On Nov 11,2007 I had purchased one ONKYO HTS 680 home theater online from <www.futurebazaar.com> using my credit card. The purchase order no for the same is [protected]. The payment for the same has been debited by the company on the same date for an amount of Rs 20140/- (Rs 19990/- for product and Rs 150/- for shipping). I've already recd the bills for the same from ICICI Credit card.

              The expected time of delivery was of 7 days, while after contacting the company via mail on their id [protected]@futurebazaar.com,I got the reply on Nov 24, 2007 that the same being dispatched on Dec 1, 2007, as there is some delay in the shipment.

              Again on Nov 27, 2007, I got another mail from [protected]@futurebazaar.com stating that the product is ready for shipment. This time, the mail came even without my mail sent to them.

              On Nov 30, 2007, I just sent one mail to the customer support, asking the shipment details, based on their mail of ready to shipment status sent to me on Nov 27, I got the revert from them on Dec 1, 2007 that due to some reason, the delivery date has been extended to Dec 7, 2007.

              To full of my surprises, when I contacted them on Dec 10, 2007 asking for the status on their customer care help line in Mumbai on[protected], I interacted with Mr Stanley and then his senior Mr Rishi. They informed me that the product is sold out, and I'll get my money back. I was shocked to hear this, and then I narrated the entire mail chains from their customer support dept regarding the delivery of the said product, and then Rishi told me to send the mails, I recd from them. He also assured me that, if I've recd the mail regarding the dispatch of the same, then surely I'm going to get the product delivered, and the update in their system is by mistake.

              I send all the mails to Rishi on the email id given by him as [protected]@gmail.com and he assured to revert back to me in 1 hrs time, which never happened. Then I called back twice on the same no again on Dec 11, 2007, and Rishi bluntly replied that he had checked with his team and they cant deliver the shipment, as the same is out of stock. After my arguments with him and asking for connect me to his seniors, the call got transferred to same one called Ms Benitta, who again informed me that the mails I've recd is by mistake and they will not deliver my product. She also said that if I wish, she can arrange for an apology letter from the company.

              Now, my point is if I've done the transaction on Nov 11, 2007, which have completed one month now, and then, without coming to me on their own, after utilizing my funds for more than a month now, they are saying that the product is not available, and they will not give it to me. This is a clear cheating from the future group and hence, I need the product deliver to me in a short span of time, or else I need compensation from the company.

              Also, I'm sending you the mails send by them in word format, and seek your help in getting my claim which occurred due to bad practices of the company. This is completely a cheat and thus I'm also planning to go to consumer forum on the same issue.

              Dear Team,

              8th August 2010, we visited Big Bazzar- Mulund -west.
              than please bring it to the attention of the Head or Person in charge of the Marketing and finance control

              8th August 2010 we visited Big Bazaar at R Mall, Mulund West. After shopping when we visited the counter for billing we found that people are openly cheated. This is the third time furture group was doing the open robbery. I had notice because last 2 times the amount was less than INR 50 and this time I bought Dove dio and they charge me twice.

              I think this is ridiculous. They are cheating the customers and doing the open robbery, Customers go to Big Bazaar, trusting that they will get commodities with good quality and lower rate and since it is automated the customers dont even bother to check twice. Looking at the situation we feel if they collect money from each and every customer who does not even bother to check the bill, people buy/we brought so many items it very difficulty to check the bill again and This is open robbery and it must be stopped.

              Big Bazaar — Account balance deducted twice

              I have purchased only two items of Rs.505 and made card payment and my balance deducted twice from my account.

              deducting some food cpn and collecting that money

              CH:305008 INV NO .0015423 bill amount 3938 collected 4938 saying that manger has asked them to do so when I Asked about it they didnot respond some FOODCPN rs 1000 was applied but the benifit Was not given to me

              Staff of Big Bazaar Hebbal Bangalore verbally assaulted me.

              Staff Department Manager Muttu verbally assaulted me. He said me to walk out of the store. He has hurt my self respect. Kindly take action against him and please keep in informed.

                Dear sir/ Madam,
                i visited Big Bazaar on last sunday dated: 08/12/2007. i purchased few items including 2 Pack of Leh Bery Juice ( item no.[protected] for total bill amount Rs. 1456/-. At the Pack of the said juice, its clearly mention that " buy 1 get 1 free" and the same was displayed at the rack also where the juice was displayed. But after coming to my home while seeing the bill details i sochked that they have charged for the two packs separately.
                My bill no is T54/21736.
                Kindly forward this complaint to competent authority.

                Scenario my friend Santosh had mentioned is very usual at Big "Chor" bazaar. I was surprised when i saw my bill this month.
                I had been thr for purchase, thought of buying stuff... picked 5 kg Aata packet too... All cool..
                Came back home and checked they had put 10Kg sticker on 5 Kg Pack... what an idea...so it's ery obvious they didn cheat, it was a wrong sticker hahaha... Tried calling them but they dont even have courtsey to talk and respond to calls. Filing a case against them... COnsumer Act...

                WORST SERVICE.VERY POOR RESPONSE
                I recently bought a koryo mixer in Big Bazaar tarnaka on 11/11/2010.Within 20 days my mixer stopped working.so with all the pain and effort i somehow contacted the people of big bazaar and they had given me an address of the service centre which is located in west marredpally.i gave the mixer to them for repair on 30/11/2010.But until now their is no call or message from them.When i try to call to the number that is written on the bill, nobody is bothered to respond to it.i had tried whole day and got tired of calling them.so to tell the same thing to big bazaar people, i tried to call them.But the same situation happened here too.no one lifts the phone.now i have to go to the people directly and give their quota towards their poor response.

                AND MY SUGGESTION IS NEVER GO FOR KORYO PRODUCTS BECAUSE OF THEIR POOR QUALITY AND POOR RESPONSE FROM THE SERVICE HOLDERS.

                Idea — Extra Billing

                Dear Sir/Mam,

                I am using mobile No. [protected] and for monthe August '11 - Sept'11 total billing is for RS 1450 where as acutual should be RS 715 as they have added GPRS usage which i have not used.

                Kindly look in to this.

                  I REALY DON’T KNOW WHETHER SOMEBODY IN YOUR COMPANY WILL CHECK THIS COMPALIN OR NOT , BUT ONE THING IS FOR SURE PEOPLE WILL COME TO KNOW THAT “ BIG BAZAAR CHEATS CUSTOMERS”

                  Yesterday[protected] we went to buy some stuff from big bazaar , and checked out a promotion at juice corner BUY ONE GET ONE FREE . I asked the attended there whts the promotion he told me if you buy this pack of tropical juices that is for Rs 45 you will get another free( the packet contained 6 small packets of orange juice) , I purchased 8 packets (according to me and that attended I had to pay just for 4 packs). When I went to the counter to pay the money , the casher (who was dam rude , disgusting man I am sorry using these words but the person was so bad that I don’t have any other word for him) charged me ( 8X Rs 50 ) Rs 400 then charged (8*45) Rs 360, whn I told him that the attended over the juice counter told me its buy 1 and get one free how can you charge me for 8 packs , you need to charge me for 4 packs. The casher was dam rude and just gave me the change and my bill in a rude manner and told me to talk to sum1 in the customer care department , as he will not entertain us.

                  When I told the same to customer care ( a lady ) he was helpful and she checked everything and told me that she will refund the money . But again he had a word with another person and gave me another story that in 1 pack there are 6 juices , now you buy 1 juice of 200ml you will get another free. Can any one just let me know what the hell you think of the customers, You always give a new story. Why your workers are not trained properly , they don’t know their jobs. They are rude , no patience, no manners how to deal with customer. I use to buy my grocery from your store but I am sorry now I wont buy anything from our store and will also inform everyone in my circle not to buy anything from Big Bazaar

                  There were 5-6 people standing at the customer care center and they even had the same problem that the attendant miss guided us, you are charging wrongly, your representatives are rude, they don’t know how to deal with customers.
                  I have taken my money back and returned all the things to your so call customer care dept. and also written a note on the refund receipt. You can ck the same , I have also mention my contact number. If in case you are decent enough then call me.


                  I even think you have trained your workers how to cheat and not respond to customer’s complain. That really nice on your part.


                  I think Biz Bazaar is only for those people who belong to villages , they have money and don’t know their value, don’t have any class, just want to spend money, cant purchase stuff from good bands like lee, Lewis, UCB etc.

                  Its not the matter of money but of service , you guys cheat us. You have untrained , manner less, disgusting workers.

                  Swetha it's really a bitter experience and you have done a good job in posting the issue on web. However at the same time, I feel, you must keep your emotions under control. You have every right to express your greif against BigBazaar, but cannot humiliate the customres of BigBazaar. Please go through the blog again, i'm quite sure, lateral part of the Blog is not reflecting what you intended.
                  Dear Indian Citizens

                  Sub: Non-delivery of 29” LG Slim Magic Television even after 15 days of receipt of payment.

                  We visited Big Bazaar at Tonk Road, Jaipur store on 13th Aug 08 with the purpose of purchasing the 29” television. We decided to buy a LG 29” TV Slim Magic Model No. LG 29FD7AGE (this correct Model No. we came to know on 25th Aug itself). It was lying at the display with the tag price of Rs.11, 790/- carrying the model No. LG 29 FG2AG-TG. The next day we went again and told them that we need the fresh piece instead of displayed one. He told us that fresh piece is not available. Mr. Sanjay Gehlot (Team Leader of Electronics Dept.) told us that this low price scheme is available for 2 more days so if you want then you have to pay full amount right now. Then we gave the full payment to him and he didn’t gave us the Invoice mentioning that Invoice will be given along with the delivery only, we trusted him and we didn’t took even the Photo copy of the Invoice. He gave us the Delivery Challan bearing S No. 286 where model No. was not mentioned. He then told us that your opted model will come from Gurgaon office on 18th Aug and will be delivered by either 18th or 19th Aug. We called him on 19th and was told that due to Transportation strike, there will be further delay of 2 more days i.e. 21st Aug 08. We called him again on 21st and were told that it has already been dispatched and going to come on Saturday, 23rd Aug. On Saturday we called him at 12:30 PM and were told by him that your TV has arrived, you can come in the evening to take the delivery. In the evening before going to Big Bazaar we called him up once again and was then told that your model no. didn’t came yet, some confusion happened so it will take another 2 or 3 days to come. We went there and spoke to some Mr. Kapil Joshi, he told us that he will let us know the correct position by tomorrow i.e. on Sunday, 24th Aug 08. On 24th Aug, we got a call from Mr. Amit Joshi (Department Head-Electronics) saying that some great confusion is there between Mr. Sanjay and us. The model No. for which we paid is lying with us so please come and collect your TV. When we went there, he showed us some other model lying at the display with the model .No LG 29 FG2AG-TG. We told them that we didn’t pay for this model. We told him that we paid them for model no. LG 29 FD7AGE/RGE (after seeing the brochure as no brochure was available on 14th), he told us there is some confusion, that the tag might got exchanged. Then we told him that we didn’t opt to buy the TV after seeing the tag, we re-confirmed this price twice on 13th & 14th with Mr. Om Prakash (Executive-Electronics) and with Mr.Sanjay Gehlot, team leader of Electronics Department and they told us the same price which was mentioned on the tag too. We accept that tag might get exchanged but how it could be possible for 2 continuous days the same tag has been displayed. Both executive and team leader told us the same price and after waiting for 11 days they told us that the price is higher, you have to pay Rs. 3000/- additional for that model which has been selected by you(on 14th Aug) We managed to take the Original Invoice from Mr. Amit Joshi on 24th Aug 08. Till 28th Aug 08, the payment was lying with them, we didn’t received any television from them they told that you have to take the model No. LG 29 FG2AG-TG. Now you tell us why we should take that television that we didn’t selected. We have paid for another model and they are giving us some another model. The mistake has been done by Big Bazaar staff, why should customer suffer for that. Finally on 28th Aug we collected our payment of Rs. 11, 800/- by giving the Original Invoiceto Mr. Amit Joshi.

                  This is the clear case of cheating and mental harassment with the customer from Big Bazaar.

                  my name is parveen kumar, i purchase a laptop make compaq model cq40-144, (cash memo no 17707) on 21st feb 2009 from sahara mall gurgaon (big bazar). on the date of purchase your employ mr. kashosik([protected]) tell me that on this laptop one scheme of 5.1philips home theater by cheque of 1500/- send to company. so i send document & cheque of that amount on 27feb. but after that whan i discuss in company, they tell me this scheme valid upto 7 feb.

                  I always had a high regard for Big Bazaar and its quality of products but on 25th Jan 2010 we purchased plastic vacuum containers and the following is the purchase made by us at your Kandivali East Grovel branch AND I FELT AS IF I WAS A FOOL ALL THIS WHILE, AS I TRUSTED THE BIG BAZAAR BRAND
                  1.Plastic Vacuum containers (rectangle) - 4 Nos @ INR 400 each with a scheme of buy 1 get 1 free.
                  2.Plastic Containers (round) - 2 Nos @ INR 600 each with a scheme of buy 1 get 1 free
                  I have the following complaints:
                  1.We were cheated of INR 200 on our above purchase.
                  In the billing your team had charged INR 400 less for the rectangle containers and had charged INR 600 more for the round containers which means a NET LOSS OF INR 200 for us.
                  2.The containers were defective AND WERE NOT EVEN GETTING PROPERLY SEALED.

                  I feel your billing system is QUITE COMPLICATED and you have kept it purposely to CHEAT CUSTOMERS.
                  On and average if you charge INR 200 per customer then you save lacs of rupees.
                  I request all the SHOPPERS at BIG BAZAAR to check their bills thoroughly before tearing their bills.
                  Please do something to provide us our INR 200 and also return the defective materials given to us.

                  I bought a packet pasta from your Infinity mall branch, around a month back.

                  Today when I tried to open the packet to cook pasta I found it was full of wood-worm (Ghun in Hindi). This is not the first time I have faced this problem, last time even after reporting the matter in store where I left my phone number also, did not receive any call or reaction from the Customer support.

                  I also had very bad experience to Indore centre. Customer care head –not present, since 6.00PM. And reaming staff not at all able to handle load of customer, if you talk to them you will find they are worst then street vendor.
                  Yesterday I visited with my son, he picked one toy, I saw price tag was not there so request one BB fellow to find it. He try & told I am not getting it at billing counter you will get. On billing counter he asked me you should go & find responsible person for finding price tag. I can’t help in this.
                  Then I came to customer care. Mr. rajendra was there he listen my complaints and told me billing counter person tell you right words go & find it. Then I replied how I can?
                  He simply told me don’t purchase this item, leave it

                  In my counter bag 10 item was there I left all these & decide will not come in future bazzar. Further out of 10 billing counter only 3 was working at 7.30PM. All customers were angry to stand in big queue.
                  i too have had a lot of such cases to report. every time some item was added to my bill which i have not picked. since they pack the bags quickly, i could check my purchase only after coming home. that is when i realise that i have been billed extra for around rs. 299/- for an item i have not picked.
                  when i try to phone them or try calling their customer care no. no one picks or repondes. very frustrating! definately feel cheated.
