I've bought some items from Big Bazaar on 23.01.13. They offer me a free recharge amount of Rs. 125 in my T24 A/C. When I demand that to their T24 kiosk they refused to give that. Also some days earlier they did not give me two numbers of Rs. 70 free recharge on my T24 A/C. Please help.

    Hi,

    I am a working mother of a 5 year old, and fairly new to Hyderabad. I have been to other big bazaars in Hyderabad but have never found such worst customer service ever.

    I went to big bazaar kachiguda to exchange a capri's that i bought for my daughter 3 days ago when i went today to the ground floor customer care department after waiting for sometime a lady from that department informed me very casually in Telugu , i informed her that i do not speak the language but understand little bit, she still went on in the same language i understood very little of it still manage to grasp what she said is that you buy something of the same price and we will change it for you

    So i went and none of the people in any of the floors were able to understand English or Hindi (our National Language which i believe every Indian should know) but no body were able to help me.

    What i found extremely rude and embarrassing about was the fact that these people not only were they unable to understand me on top of that were making fun of me in Telugu and laughing in front of me. Which i must say almost everybody in Hyderabad behaves.

    I went to the customer case people in the Ground floor the same lady was there i asked her what to do now that i have exchanged the clothes she she very rudely stated saying wahi toh bola na wahi to bola na, she explain whats to be done and kept repeating the same thing. I said to her look i understand you must be irritated with some work but no need to take out that frustration on me and then she repeated the same thing and then sat and started with her work even though i was still talking to her, There was no apology for her rude behavior.

    I went to the billing counter and asked for the floor supervisor or the manager they told me he is in the 2nd floor i asked them could you please call either one of them as my daughter was by that time already tired and sleepy. But there was no response i then raised my voice a little and still no reply but only giggles and funny comments on me. i waited for 15 mins nobody came then when i asked where is the supervisor they are telling me he just went for Lunch (how convenient ??) the manager or supervisor do not even have the time for complaints as if the mall that they are running is perfect.

    I am humiliated by this episode i want to know if there is any law that i could sue them for this episode and this way and get to understand the importance and value of Good Customer Service.

    Please assist me in know how i can go about with this complaint.

      I had been to Central Mall on Marathalli Road in Bangalore and made a purchase of four thousand something , Ipaid the full amount after which I was given this Gift voucher saying if I made a purchase of 2000 Rupees between 1st January 2013 and 31st Jan 2013 I can reedeem rupees 500.which i feel is misleading and luring gulliable customers to buy unnecessarily within a certain period. I unfortunately could not find the voucher at the time of my next purchase of 2000 but the next day when i took the voucher to them with my bill and card details proving i rightly owned thevoucher they refused saying that it was only during billing of the purchase they could deduct in that bill and not any other time and I should make a purchase of 2000 again to get it reedemed , I requested them to reedem it as though I had it in my purse i was not able to get it at that point of time when I asked for the email id of manager they said it was Future Group.

      As per the MRTP Act this is a misleading advertisement used as a bait to make customers do unnecessarly shopping and the amount stated as free is actually deducted on a next purchase of a fixed amount within a fixed period

      The Company has tried twice to get in touch with me, which I have noticed on logging into my account, I thank them for that, It was not question of 500 deduction, However my aim was to inform that it is a misleading advertisement and should not be done by any company. I realised that it was a gimmic to make customers do more purchasing when they refused to reedem the 500 rupees even on next day on producing my receipt and bills and voucher which I could not find in my purse at the time of purchase ( as in accordance to what was told to me by cashier that it was company policy) so getting back 500 will not solve the larger issue of misleading advertisements. I still thank the company for trying to contact me to solve the problem Thank You

        I have placed an order for a furniture, a study table with book shelf from Home Town by Future group.
        The complete amount was paid as advance on 18th November 2012. Delivery was assured within 15 days i.e by 3rd of December 2012. Today is 9th of January 2013 and i'm still not having the item delivered. On repeated calls to the customer service, i got a reply on 8th january 2013 that the item shall be delivered hopefully by the end of this month.

        Kindly let me know if anything can be done in this regard. This has been height of testing a customer's patience.

          My name is Smita. I am a regular visitor at BIg bazaar at lake city mall, kapurbawdi. Today i had a extremely insulting experience there for something as silly as this.
          I entered the outlet and had barely take 2 steps(actually 2 steps) and I immediately had to rush to attend to an important call because the outlet had blaring music in their store which i am surprised I have not seen any dept store else.
          Post attending the call I again entered the store and to my shock I was gheraoed by the entire security force as if i am a criminal with other customers staring at me.
          I requested to speak to a customer service representative .After about 5 mins a personnel by the name Pravesh Gurbani came in picture who was much more rude than the staff there.( i can now understand where the attitude stems from).
          When i asked him his designation , he says it is none of my concern and who am i to ask him that.
          Doesnt big bazaar have soft skills training for their representatives???????????????

          He asks me what my problem is .I explained what happened and the way they were gheraoing and confronting me. He said he will check and get back .
          I waited for almost 30 mins. He didnt bother to respond . I had to search for him in the entire store.When finally found he replies that they have to treated all customers generally and his security hasnt made any mistake .Hence he will not apologise.
          I am really ashamed to have ever stepped here forget about shopping here . All i could do was drop everything that i planned to shop and quit the shop.
          I too come from a customer service industry but this is the worst treatments anyone can give.

          Now i understand why big bazaar has such a bad name.

          BIG BAZAAR — unauthorised use of debit card

          My dedit card is used by unauthorised person for purching at big bazar aurangabad.
          If the counter sign on bill is not matching with A/C holders sing then for this trasition big bazar is responsitiable.

          Hometown — Cot and SOfa need to be repaired

          Hi, I purchased a cot and sofa from Hometown, which got broken. I think sofa is still in warranty period, whereas i can pay for the cot. Please let me know when can you send the carpenters.

            i am writing to complaint against the pathetic customer service of Big Bazaar. i had booked a furniture - queen size bed on 12/12/12 for Rs. 12000 and the maximum duration for delivery was told as 21 days. my bill no. is T15/35355 and challan no. 1366 however, even after 4th Jan there was no news from Big bazaar. upon enquiry, i was told that the product will be delivered with 100% guarantee on 5th Jan. no show on 5th Jan. upon enquiring on 5th, i was told that product will be delivered 100% guarantee on 6th Jan. no show on 6th Jan as well. Again, i was told that product will be 100% guarantee before 1pm as i leave my premises at 1.30pm and any other time my premises will be locked. however, the product never reached within time and upon enquiring again, was told that the product will arrive only after 3pm.

            it is not just not delivering on time, but also repeated false assurances which leaves the customer totally fuming. i had cancelled all appointments during the weekend - saturday and sunday just to accomodate the delivery of the product but all was in vain

            want to raise a complaint of pathetic customer service and mental harrassment of the consumer against big bazaar Tarnaka branch, hyderabad. few names would like to mention - Sampath, Vasu and stores manager - Srikanth. strict action to be taken against them!!!

            also would like to add that this is the second time i am encountering this kind of awful customer service from them. similar situation i faced when i had ordered dining table from big bazaar tarnaka hyderabad. Very conveniently they forget the customer after receiving money from them!!!!

              This has reference to my Order No. [protected] placed on Dated:[protected], at the time of order placing the expected delivery date as mentioned by future bazaar is[protected] but till date and time I am writing you this mail I have not received my product yet.

              On tracking my order I came to know that my order was shipped on[protected] with Aramex courier vide docket no. [protected] and since[protected] it is lying with aramex courier bangalore office.

              Then I made a complaint to future bazaar customer care on[protected] then your representative ensure me that we have forwarded your complaint to courier company and your courier will deliver upto[protected], then I again call your customer care department on[protected] and two times on[protected]in morning as well as in evening) but every time I have got a false commitment and a new story for not delivering the courier.

              I request you to kindly look into the matter with your courier service provider for ensuring the immediate delivery of my product.

                I had purchased an Electronic inverter from your BB Palakkad outlet about 10 months before,
                Now its got damaged, the complaint is "8Hrs backup giving unit is giving only 30mins of backup".
                I have registered a complaint with the authorized service center,but no response from the service center side, 1st time they had came and told that there is no issue with the unit and closed the complaint, but same complaint arise that night itself. Then again i registered a new complaint, till today i didn't got a visit or even a single call from the service center.

                Pls advice me what to do?.

                  Hello Mam,

                  I got your contact details from an online complaint forum. I thought that i should bring this to you notice.

                  I had purchased a Blackberry handset from Big Bazaar showroom in Liluah, Howrah. The Invoise number was [protected] dated 30-April-2012.


                  The handset got some problem in Aug 2012. Thereafter i had contacted the authorised service centre, which rejected to repair it as the handset was imported directly by Future group.
                  Then i contacted the store manager- who guided me to One mobile representative. The representative then guided me to Mr Ashish Kumar (ashish.[protected]@futureaxiom.in). This entire process too more than 4 days and around 17 phone calls to different representatives/ stores etc. Finally, Mr. Ashish instructed me to get it repaired from any local store and claim for reimbursement from insurance company.

                  Accordingly, i got it repaired locally and forwarded the documents to W & IA in Aug 2012. The claim was of INR 2200/- only. Since then I've got no communication from either Future/ W & IA. The trails mails would reflect the complete picture. Whenever i had contacted them, they say that the claim would be reimbursed next month.

                  Now, while i am yet to receive the claim for earlier repairs, my phone is again not working.This time the phone gets turned off completely anytime. It takes more than 25 minutes to reboot. This problem has occurred more than 7 times in the last 2-3 days. The phone also gets Hang multiple number of times in a day. I am highly disappointed with the kind of product imported by your company as well as the pathetic after sale services.

                  I request you to pay heed to this letter sincerely. Failing this, i would be forced to bring this claim in legal form before you.

                  I expect that you would stand tall with the repute of your company as a customer centric organisation and provide immediate solution to me.

                    I purchased few items from Big Bazaar GIP on saturday at about 2.30 pm .The packing guy wrongly placed glass bottle of italian pasta sauce I purchased below heavy grocery items like I kg dal packets etc.To my shock when I reached home the bottle was broken spoiling all packets with sauce.I had a tough time cleaning all the stuff. How can they be so careless while packing.

                      Hi, I've placed an order for a shoe rack (worth Rs.4000) with Hometown (Marathahalli branch). I've made an advance payment of the full amount on 24-Oct and the delivery date has been given as 8-Nov. Its been a month now and I haven't received the order yet. Whenever I call at the outlet, they either leave me on hold or say they'll get back to me and end my call. I've made at least 20 calls and frustrated with their poor customer service. So I am registering my complaint. Can you please against them and help me get my delivery?

                          I bought a wall unit from Hometown on 2 Dec 2012 and it was delivered to me on 5 Dec 2012. When the person came to fix the wall unit it was found that the parts were defective/broken and missing. When tired contact the store manager, he gave a turn around time of 4 days to replace the parts. Please never buy any product from hometown, really pathetic and unprofessional people.

                          receipt number [protected], we hv brought this product on 15th aug 2011 which got delivered on 29th in our residence where in the chairs of the dining table is defective . we been calling them for replacement where there is no response from them, mr santosh asst manager from thakur mall of miraroad everytime promises that he will call back and replece the chair the problem has not yet been solved. neither they are giving us any proof of lodging the complaint. please hlp me to get this resolved.

I am already tell u we r a regular customer of big bazar our every month purchasing is up to 10000 i thing we will reached up to 9000 on that period also . we will very intrested to take a bath towel set but from start to end we didnt get that product on stock every time ur csd lady will told us sir 1 2 din me a jayega . finishing date o[censored]r scheme our one great politician demiss ur store will be closed on saturday n sunday . Last sunday when i will visit on big bazar n ask ur csd they will show one container of 99 rs. n told me to take that only . And the fullishness is that when i want discuss with floor manager about that he will rudely told me lena he to yahi milega when i told him i will launch the complaint in ur customer care about that he will very confident no one will be do anything with him he will tell me jo karna he karo . i m very shocked . In todays strong competitive market ur staff will talk like this. I mvery embrassed . pls reply me what u will do with my scheme n what u will take action of that floor manager.                                 I have purchased a shoe case on 8th nOv 2012 and paid the full amount. As per the committment of the store, i was suppose to get the delivery max by 23rd Nov 2012. But i got the delivery on 25th November.( Buyer's order no: [protected]) After that i got the 2nd committment that the product will be assembled max within 48 hrs. But that also didnt happen and after several follow ups the assemblment happen after 54 hrs.
                                During assemble we found out that the shipment was wrong as i got 2 doors of the same left side. Then we went to the store in HomeTown JP Nagar and spoke to the manager. It was pathetic that once they sell the product and take customer's money they do not entertain you for support. As per them we need to wait for another min 7 -15 days to get the correct door and product.

                                Home Town is full of pathetic people and horrible service.

                                  Here sir on 5th of april I purchased some grocerries from Big Bazaar, Mulund, R-Mall, Mumbai.There they billed me for those item which I never purchsed.And this was done by a Billing accountant.And they will dupe u in this way while you are busy with some other work at billing counter in croudy situation.

                                  I have purchased some domestic daily use articles on 7.5.13 ie yesterday itself from a Big Bazaar in Express Avenue Mall in Royahpettah in Chennai. Few items that have discount offers on them are all billed at the MRP and since there is always huge crowd, one does not check the details usually at the time of billing and payment. The items of dispute are as: Clean mate floor cleaner 5l worth 375 is available for 185 only as introductory offer and Lifebuoy worth 36 is available for 30 in offer but have been billed at 375 and 34 respectively.

                                  All the discounted items have been billed at the MRP and now when i have discussed the issue, there is no co-ordination from the outlet's side. I requested that i will purchase goods worth the amount to be adjusted so that they do not have to pay me the balance amount and allow me to get it done at the outlet which is nearer to my place of stay, no one is agreeing to it. Complete details of purchase ie Till No:29, Tr no:5037 and amount:1357 has been provided to them.

                                  As the database, is commanlized this should be possible at any store/outlet that exchange/refund should be carried out. But, unnecessarily the cusotmers are being harrassed by the outlet people in Chennai, thus spoiling the name and repute of the brand.

                                  The issue must be resolved soon.
                                  we were cheated by big bazzar. a rice pack on which buy 1 get 1 was of rs. 90 and the billing was done of rs. 180.exact double. when we asked the manager he simply said this happens many a times and there must be server problem. but this is cheating. had we not noticed we would have paid 100 extra and if this is done with every costumer how much profit big bazzar must be making by so called innocent cheating???
                                  Myself Krishan. This is regarding complaint against Big Bazaar.

                                  (1) There was an offer on Sofy Pads that buy 3 get 1 free. At the time of billing, I confirmed the offer from the cashier too. When I went through the bill after returning home, I saw that he charged for all the 4 pads. He has charged Rs. 380 for 4 pads, it should be Rs. 295 only.

                                  (2) In the same transaction only, there is one more mistake done. I have bought Rin Advance 6KG surf for Rs. 528, but MRP. is printed as 450 only. it is clearly mentioned on the pack also Rs. 78 off.

                                  I would request you to look into the matter and return the money (95+78=173) back to my credit card asap. This is not at all acceptable.

                                  These days while shopping in Big bazaar, i found that they are wrongly charging in the bill very frequently which happened to me today (27th Sep 2014) and on 20th Sep 2014, where i found and recollect my money back for wrong billing... at the same time i found 10 more customers who claimed that their bill has wrongly charged and the there are multiple customers who faced the same situation like me for several times.

                                  Generally, people cant check the discounts in hundreds of items and taking this as an oppurtunity.. Big bazar, a reputed shopping place is doing wrong billing by manipulating their systems and giving the same response as System error for the customers who found there is wrong billing


                                  we had only one source to complain and get it resolved. that is one and only my indian goverment . By this wrong charging, Big bazaar can easily earn crores for single item wrong billing.

                                  Keeping hoping on you to prevent this and help lakhs of people and their hard earned money from this scam

                                  Today I bought 4 Coke PET 1.2L for which the offer price was Rs120, but after returning home I found I've been charged for 5 COKE PET 1.2L. First they've charged me RS 120 and at the end they've again charged me Rs 55 for 1more COKE PET 1.2L. Because I was in hurry I didn't check the bill there in the counter but once I reached home I found he has wrongly charged me Rs 55. Though this is not the first time this is happening to me. I know Rs 55 is not a big amount but we are losing trust because most of the time Big Bazaar is charging us incorrectly.

                                    Dear Sir,
                                    I have ordered Skechers Shoes (Order Number [protected]) from Futurebazaar.com November 3, 2012. After seeing their Clearance Sale promotion I made decision to order from this company. I had paid an amount of 1004.25 INR after all discounts under their clearance sale.

                                    After ordering a shoes of 1000 bucks, i was keenly waiting for my branded shoes to come. But when I receive product. I found that Futurebazaar had sended me Secondhand/Used Shoes, size is also 1 size lower, was also an repaired shoes, on its box, the defect was marked by some person.

                                    I was shocked to see that such big shopping company is cheating in such a way. Within 15 minutes of item receipt from courier, I complaint to them through email. After long follow-up, they asked me to drop the product after packing myself to BIG BAZAAR customer service desk in my city. After packing at my own cost, I went to Big bazaar, but their security peoples restricted me to come inside with parcel and deny to have any relationship with futurebazaar.com. After long discussion with Big bazaar peoples, they accepted the product after 1-2 hours long procedure involving Gate pass and security clearance for parcel.

                                    After that, I had to send the scanned copy of return receipt and details to futurebazaar by email. I did the same and after long followup, they refunded my money on 19 November 2012.

                                    Their company confirmed me that they will give me 500 Rs as compensation against the cheating/fraud done by their company and all the inconveniences caused to me by now. But the same is not received till date and their company also not replying now.

                                    This is the true image of Futurebazaar....

                                    If i did not receive compensation in within one week, I will fire case against their company in Court.

                                      I HAD GONE TO BIG BAZAR TO PURCHASE CLOTHES FOR MY FAMILY ON 21st OCT 2012 . THE AMOUNT OF THE BIL WAS 1725.00 . I MADE THE PAYMENT WITH MY SBI DEBIT CARD NO [protected] . HOWEVER DUE TO DEFECT IN THE MACHINE THE TRANSACTION WAS SLOW . SO THE OPERATOR MADE A DOUBLE SWIPE OF THE CARD .                                         Big bazaar people are misleading customers and deliberately cheating them. they launched a new scheme named "SWAGATAM DIL SE " in which they were to give gifts to people who have done shopping in any bigbazaar outlets within the period of 1 month which started from some October date(i do not remember) 2012 to Nov 18th of 2012.
                                        the scheme was as such :
                                        shop for[protected] rs and get either a PREMIUM BATH TOWEL WORTH RS 499 FOR RS 99
                                        OR BRANDED 19" WHEELER DUFFLE BAG WORTH 495 FOR 99
                                        OR YERA 3 PC MICROWAVE SAFE BOWLS WITH LID WORTH 499 FOR 99

                                        SHOP FOR[protected] RS AND GET EITHER A KORYO HANDBLENDER WORTH 1199 FOR 199
                                        OR DISNEY LUX SINGLE BED LINEN SET WORTH RS 999 FOR 199

                                        i shopped for Rs 6600 and wanted a hand blender but they said that the product was not available so they gave me a mini chopper instead.when i brought it to the knowledge of the head of the sales department there, he started giving me lame excuses like you should have booked the product earlier. when i said that i am anyhow eligible for the gift and intimate me when it arrives, he completely denied of the possibility and said it wont happen.
                                        there was no clause mentioned in their card that the products were a subject to availability and when i said the same, he said these small small things are not to be written.anyhow, i went home, disappointed, with that mini chopper. BUT again i was cheated!!!!!!that mini chopper was so useless that in ONE TIME USE ONLY IT STOPPED WORKING!!!!!!!! I AM SO DISAPPOINTED WITH BIG BAZAAR'S SERVICE THAT I FEEL ALL MY 6600 RS HAVE GONE WASTE... I WAS SHOPPING FOR LAST 1 MONTH TO GET THAT BLENDER, BUT IN VAIN. I HAVE NO OTHER OPTION LEFT BUT TO COMPLAIN IN CONSUMER COURT FOR JUSTICE. THIS TYPE OF BEHAVIOR IS REALLY NOT EXPECTED FROM SUCH A BIG BRAND NAME AS THEIRS AND I HIGHLY REGRET SHOPPING FROM BIG BAZAAR NOW!
                                        still the scheme is open but they not have the products that the customers want. this is a fraud that big bazaar had been practicing here from long as i came to know after reading some of the other reviews too.

                                        BIG BAZAAR — Big Bazaar Cheating the customer with delivery dates

                                        We have bought a full Bedroom set from Big Bazaar Satara Road Pune, On 17th Aug 2008. The delivery date promised on my bill is 31 Aug. But when it didnt arrive on that date we were told it would be done on 8th Sep 2008. We acknowledged that; understanding that there may be a delay. We were told that the delivery had almost reached them (the delivery was made from chennai... and they said it has reached Bhiwandi) So they would be doing the Quality checks and then would deliver on 8th of sept 2008. But when we called them on 8th, the reason we got was something diffrent, not they say they can only deliver on 15th sept 2008 as they are out of stock. If they are out of stock how did they took payment from us for that product. Also as they had promised us the delivery saying that the product has reached Bhiwandi; i guess they were just stating utter lies either that time or now. I demand a full refund of my money back, and just tell my fellow people never to buy anything from big baazaar; because of they hignly un-proffesional behaviour... thumps down to Big Baazaar... and a big booo to them... I hope my money is returned back or either the delivery is done as per promised today .i.e. 8th Sept 2008.
                                        Same case here, I recently purchased a dining table worth Rs 5000 (cash memo # T39/22363, Chakan # 2171) on 25th Jan and at the time of purchase I was told that since the volumes are high delivery will be madew on 27th Jan which was pretty fine with me. Delivery not done to 30th JAN. I am determined to cancell the order.

                                        BIG BAZAAR — cheating by misleading information

                                        During festival season, we purchased clothes from big bazar. A coupon along with the bill was issued to me stating discount on next purchase without mentioning date of expiry of the offer. At the time of next purchase, they refuse to consider discount stating that the period of offer is over.This is not the first incident with me but I have same bitter experience in past too.
                                        This big/reputed store should not cheat the customers by misleading offers. Last time the product to be given was out of stock and after long waiting/discussions with them I was given substitute product of lower quality.
                                        The customer care executive then try to fool customer and argue that the customer base is due to their various offers but they hide many important terms and conditons

                                        I am hereby writing this to draw attention of Public thru this complaint.
                                        Today, I was shopping at Big Bazaar, Subhash Palace, New Delhi. Where I was at CD's & DVD's counter.
                                        I saw at a counter, there was a tag stating "4 for Rs.99/-". When I choose CD's then the Sales Guy said I can purchase only 2 DVD's from this counter. As the DVD's consists of 6 movies, we can take only 2 DVD's.
                                        Whereas, on the tag only.
                                        This is absolutely misleading information from a Big Brand.
                                        This is not a first instance, so I have shared it with Public Also.
