I purchased bathroom fittings from Home town (Thane) SO NO: [protected] on Aug 5, 2012 with expected delivery date as Aug 13, 2012. I am writing this on Aug 28, 2012 and it is still not delivered. Despite repeated calls and visit to the store, they are promising false dates. I am not sure who will bear the cost of delay. I advise people not to purchase any item from this store.

    LUCKY DRAW PRICE NOT DELIVERED

    I am writing this complaint after repeated visit to outlet at Gomti Nagar-Lucknow in Riverside Mall. I purchased goods which was worth greater than ₹ 1201, as a result i was given lucky draw coupon.
    I got a call from future group in the month of july 2012 that i have won T24 talktime worth ₹ 1000 in a lucky draw and I have to visit store to get my T24 recharge done.

    Please let me know the reason why my transaction of Rs.2796/- (Cash Memo- T12/ 1354), through credit card on 11th Aug’12 has been converted to EMI (with a processing fee of Rs.3800/-) WITHOUT MY CONSENT IN ORAL OR WRITTEN. I have received this information through an sms from the bank on Saturday 18th Aug.

    This is extremely unprofessional and ridiculous on your part to cheat your customers like this. I have been a regular customer of yours and have purchased numerous heavy goods from your store located in Saharaganj Mall, Hazratganj, Lucknow, since it got established. So I am highly disappointed with this fraudulent act from your store.

    Hometown, Future Group — Delay in delivery of wardrobe

    I ordered for a wardrobe on 13th February 2011on Home Town in Vikhrole, by paying 50% advance. It was supposed to be delivered by mid March. It was ultimately delivered in 1st week of April. To everybody's surprise, it was found to have 40% short supplies.

    Those short supplies have not come as of today, i.e. mid May 2011. This is a delay of close to 2 months.

    There is no news from Home Town officials, and repeated mails have not elicited a response. I have asked for a compensation, and that is also not responded.

    My faith in Home Town is shattered. And that after shopping for goods worth Rs 4.5 lacs in last 3 months.

    I was expecting the reversal of the Processing Fee of Rs. 3800/- towards my credit card. But to my disappointment the said amount is still reflecting in my credit card statement for the current month.

    I have been doing purchases worth lacs of Rupees from your esteemed store located in Saharaganj Mall, Hazratganj, Lucknow. But this time I am highly disappointed with the lackadaisical approach of your employees towards my complaint.

    This is the last time I am requesting for revoking the self imposed EMI on the said purchase. If I do not hear from you and get a satisfactory answer to my problem then I will take suitable legal action against your company.

      I have ordered a mobile phone vide order No. [protected] dated 10/8/2012, On futurebazaar site it is mentioned as product shipped on 10/8/2012 itself, but so far not delivered to me. When talking to futurbazaar call center on 20/8/12 they stated that it is not despatched. I have made complaint on 15/8/12 but no action has been taken by them. only stating that investigation going on.

      Future Bazaar — undelivered kingston pendrive

      i ordered a kinston pen drive at future bazaar on 5 oct 2008 but still i have got no delevery and money was detected from my bank account and then i didn't received any product id, now please tell me how to complain.

        This email is with reference to the poor after-sale/ customer service provided by BIG BAZAAR, sakinaka. We have purchase Prestige Glass Top Gas stove 2 burner. Which is faulty pcs from day 1, Gas leakage problem from big burner? They have provided service center no. Person visited but the problem is not resolved. Then we again went to Big Bazaar for the same issue. They have given phone no of Mr. Sunil Sales Representative of prestige. He told that it is not his look out. Then we had launch complaint in service center of Prestige. The representative of service center visited after 2 days. We showed him the problem and asked for replacement of the Gas stove. He spoke with his official & they agreed to provide replacement on 15th Aug 2012. So we contacted Big Bazaar, There sales representative Mr. Michael had spoke to Mr. Sunil by telling that on advice he don't find replacement word. Which is actually available on service center advice? After speaking with Mr. Sunil he told us that we don't have stock, you will get the replacement in 2 days, we will call you. But still we don’t receive any call from them. So we again visited on 19th Aug 12 in Big Bazaar we met Mr. Surve who told that company provide special product for offer. We cannot supply the pcs which are available with us. We have raised PO for replacement, but they don't know the date, time & person name that raised the Po & cannot provide any details to us. Can anyone help us in this? Because we cannot use that gas stove due to serious defect, which can cause explosion in our house & building & they also not agreeing with us for replacement or give us our money back or sign on letter that we are responsible for the loss if any face by you during the course of time taken for replacement.

            Hello,

            I have ordered "Intex Computer M/m Headphone Artize [[protected]]" (Order ID: [protected]) on 26 Jul, 2012, the delivery stated was Before 02 Aug, 2012, but still the product is not been delivered!!, the courier service was ExpressIT.

            futurebazaar.com customer support is cheating customer by giving fraudulent promises, first they said by 14th it will delivered, that not happened and now they denies for refund also. I lost my money by dealing with www.futurebazaar.com

            Intex computers — Cheating and fraud

            Dear sir,

            I gave my intex desktop for servicing after it broke down within one year and six months from the purchase. Since my sub standard product was covered by warantee for three years i sent it to intex service centre.

            I got mt machine back after few days. I was shocked to see the condition of my machine:

            there were scratches all over the body of machine
            the original mother board of intel was replaced by the motherboard of some substandard company due to which drivers failed to load and perform.
            they replaced the DVD combo drive that came iwth the original machine by some old looking DVd rom.
            they even replaced my UPS with some other UPS that is not fucntioning.

            when i questioned them, i was harassed and intimidated. I dont know what to do. i called intex corporate office but nobody responded.

            i am a poor guy. My studies are suffering as i am not able to use my machine for last fifteen days. there is no earning source in my family. I had raised money to buy this desktop with great difficulty. I feel cheated, depressed, harrased.

            i hope someone will hear my plea and bring me justice.

            I ordered a compaq laptop to futurebazaar.com on 29/10/2010.After continuous follow up , on 08/11/2010 i comes to know that compaq laptop has been finished Although they delivered the same laptop to the customer who order on 31/10/2010..Now they offered me that you can take samsung laptop. I refused their offer After that they offered that you can Acer laptop. I confirmed the same on 12/11/2010. After that only i will get the assurance that you will get the product in next 24 to 48 hrs but no delivery till date. Their customer services and logistics are very worst and not recommended to purchase any item from this websites

            Futurebazaar.com — unable to deliver

            ordered one clothes dryer by phone thru futurebazaar.com vide their advt in mid-day.after several phone calls and attempts they said after 10 days that the order stood cancelled despite them having alloted me an order number.
            several excuses have been made about my telephone number being wrong etc.
            since it was cod i was saved.let this be a warning to you folks out there who prepay them thru credit card etc.their sales dept sucks and i will never shop with them in future.

                Dear Sir/Ma'am,

                Its been a very disappointing experience with HomeTown Vikhroli (Pantaloon Retail shop). We are loyal customers of HomeTown wherein all major household items for our new home have been selected from HomeTown Vikhroli. In fact, for my son's 4th birthday on August 11th we booked a Chhota Bheem bed, quilt, mattress and bedcovers/pillowcases on 28th July, 2012 from Home Town Vikhroli once again. Appended is the invoice for the same. It was communicated that the total order will be delivered by around 8/9th August which was in advance for my sons' birthday.

                The events which were to follow were indeed frustrating. I received call around 8/9th August about delivery being given only for bed as the other items were not in stock as on that date. Accordingly, the bed was delivered but it was not a Chota Bheem bed which was selected so adoringly and purchased by us!!! It was a simple white 5 ft child bed. As I was at work, my mother in law took the delivery and enquired about it. she suggested that this be taken back as not the one ordered. The person who delivered mentioned that this was the order and left. I received a call next day informing that my mattress was ready and would be delivered. However, the chota bheem bedsheet quilt and pillow cover was not available. I informed them immediately that the bed was not the one we purchased and was simple white bed. the person informed that would look into the same and disconnected. This followed by delivery of mattress but without the bedsheet, pillowcase and quilt. Delivery person again refused to comment on bed. After a gap, the bedsheet quilt and pillowcase was delivered during which once again we highlighted the case of the mistaken identity of the bed!!!! Albeit still even after my sons birthday has passed, the chhota bheem bed has not been delivered. ! Indeed this was disappointing as well as still no one bothered to respond to our query raised with the delivery persons.

                By now, my husband and I were also continuously trying to reach the only HomeTown office landline number mentioned on the invoice 61775200. Surprising part which we realised over a 6-7 days ordeal is that the number keeps ringing, or picked by the person and placed on the side, or is constantly engaged. This implies that the staff does not bother to be responsive or probably its a dummy number which merely serves for outgoing from the shop. We may be prejudiced by now but this experience has left such a bitter taste in our mouth that no assurance can make us change our mind.

                HomeTown tag line mentions that makes life beautiful. But this experience has completely spoiled my son's birthday present from us as the Chhota Bheem bed still remains undelivered!!!! Our son who turned 4 year old keeps checking each day as to why his parents have not lived upto their promise for Chhota Bheem bed! In fact, he has not even touched or used the bed as this is not Chhota Bheem bed he had selected.

                Would appreciate if the Chhota Bheem bed can be arranged by them to be delivered immediately and the simple white bed delivered to us is taken back immediately.

                  Purchased a lot of stuff from Home-town while setting up my home like fittings, furniture and elctronic and found almost everything sub-standard. I regret the decision of going to Home-town. I purchased a TV of Koryo (their own product) and it has a major problem. It doesnot start. I have to switch it on a few times before it may (not definite) start. I have complaint to Home-Town. They have given the number of some dealer saying there is a problem with some part and they will change. I called the dealer afew times but the part was out of stock as many peieces sold by Home-towmm had a similar problem.
                  I had purchased the TV during the Independence day sale. It is one year and I am still facing the problem. it is really disappointing to get such poor service from Home-town.

                    We are writing this complaint against 'Home town', indirapuram,ghaziabad so that no body should fall with such kind of harassment.
                    "the pathetic customer service by home town, and did not delivered the bed even after 75 days after their promise."

                    We ordered a bed from furniture house, home town on 13th May'12 with 25 percent payment done. The staff said that bed is out of stock and they will deliver in another 15 days positively.We agreed and waited for next 15 days.but there was no intimation after 15 days. However we called them and asked for the update about the delivery of bed.

                    The staff said that its still not in stock and will be delivered shortly from mumbai and we should wait for further another week. Though it was very frustating but we still kept patience and waited for another week.....but it never came till date(75 days).

                    After waiting for 60 days we asked the staff to cancel the order. The staff crossed all the limits when after 60 days he said, we are not able to wait and therefore asking for the cancellation. It was absolutely humiliating. The manager of home town then assured us to deliver the bed in another 7 days and said that this time it will be done.

                    We trusted him and waited for next 7 days, but we got a call regarding this after 15 days. We were asked to do a full payment after 73 days and they promised to deliver the bed next day after 7:00 pm. After full payment, the bed is not yet delivered and its 9:00 p.m.

                    After waiting for such a long time, we are so irritated and frustated and have decided that we don't want the bed anymore if its not delivered today.
                    Its very sad and unfortunate that being 'just a customer' we are facing such a pain.

                    Home Town — Delayed Delivery/ Pathetic Customer Service

                    Please do not buy anything from Home Town. I spent more than 1.5 lacs on bathroom and sanitaryware. First mistake we made was to engage the project team from Hometown for execution. They charged me Rs. 1500 with the promise that the project manager would be availabel through out the project execution.While he was prompt in turning up the next day to take the measurements so that he can finalize all products and accessories, we realized unfortunately a lot later that a lot o[censored]nncessary products were also pushed through. We found atleast 4 items which were billed in excess. Further, now that hte work has progressed, we are finding that they pushed through some accessories like adhesves (for tiles) etc which were very expensive which couldn' be uesd since we were renovating the bathroom. We were made to wait for hours while the invoice would be generated and we would literally be waiting to make the payment and get out. After full payment, the quote for work was sent and we soon realized that the charges were inflated and they pushed again INR 6000 for site visits discreetly. I refused to pay and decided to get the work done on my own. Even after this, the misery continued. The delivery of the products were delayed significantly resulting in the work getting postponed for long (for over 45 days). The technicians for the installation of shower partitions and multi system never turned up ontime despite multiple calls. The contacts woudl never pick up their phones including their managers. The customer service team would always want the hisotry every time we call and will promise to call back and would never do that. Long story short - it has been agonizing and frustrating dealing with Home Town and their staf and it has not ended yet. I know for usre that I wouldn't step into Home Town again - If you are ever tempted, please look at the number of complaints and never even go near that place. They are the most pathetic, irresponsible and unresponsive organization. Please stay away for your own good.

                      I was been cheated by big bazaar i wanted to buy an LED 32 Inches TV from big bazaar Satara road Pune - 411037 loan was also applied for the same after the approval of the loan we got the product delivery and immediately i supposed to leave for out station after 3 Months i returned from there i got a call from future capital that sir cheques given by you are from out station i questioned them the cheques were taken by you finance person he never told me about the same and if he was not knowing why was he appointed for finance purpose after that i changed the cheques and handed over to them after that i wanted to install the LED that time i saw it was not LED it was LCD after that immediately i rushes to store but i was been answered that sir your one Emi is pending please pay that so it would help us to replace the product i said ok and same day i paid the emi after that i also 1 more installment through bank after that when we went to store there was some person named amarjeet he insulted us and was very hash he was even bothered that he was talking to a women ans also answered that the people who use to deal with you have left the job after that i was regularly giving follow up to the store after that future finance came in picture we were telling them the issue but they were concerned only about there money 1st i had word with Mr Jaideep Avghade i told him all the situation he said Madam please pay the Pending Emi i asked what about the product he said that was not his concern and if i dont pay the money he would launch police complaint against ans started shouting on me and told me to talk with store people now i went to the store manager and told him all the situation he said madam i will reply over the phone it been months now still i have not received any call from the store manager after that again future capital started troubling me now some Mr.Kale from future Capital had called me and was threatening me he said he would send 4-5 people to my job place yo recover the money i asked replacement of my product he said i have given the finance and product is not his concern what ever your issues are ther are with big bazaar get sorted with them i dont care weather they are been sorted pay my money back to me.
                      I want to know what kind of people i am dealing with first of all i m cheated and they are also threatening me what should i do should i except that i am cheated and pay the money or i should hope that this complaint will give me justice ?
                      Can i know if i am been delivered LCD why should i Pay for LED only because Future Capital Mafia people are telling me to pay,i expect that there should be a strict action taken against the store and the future capital mafia.

                        I purchaged a goods from feature bazaar and they promise to deliver over night (24 hr's) from mumbai but future bazaar cheat with me i am waiting since approximate one week but they still didn't deliver my goods.

                        So please please never buy any thing from Future Bazaar as per personal experience they are making fools to public and cheating with them.

                        Its same as their name Future and no body knows the future so no one know about their goods will they deliver or not even they can't transfer your call to their managers even if you email to customer care they didn't reply.

                                I am not sure atleast if you are the correct person or you too will shun on the responsibilities like how others in BB did.

                                I had unfortunately purchased the subject product from your website on July 16, 2012 and it got delivered to me yesterday late evening.

                                When I opened the box, the camera was fully scratched and looked like a used piece. Also, the box wasnt sealed. It was supposed to be for my colleague who is getting married in the next couple of days. Imagine had I given him the camera without checking.

                                I called the future bazaar helpline number this morning & spoke to one Ms. Shama. She asked me to send the pics of the camera or courier it back to Mumbai which i clearly denied doing. Next option she gave me was to visit the nearby BB and meet the Customer Service desk person.

                                And here is the trauma I went thru there :

                                Person 1 : I met a girl there. No details were asked what the product was nor the reason why I am returning the product. She started writing a slip and requested for my name & contact number. I asked her to call the right person and she called the Supervisor - Customer care desk.
                                Person 2 : Supervisor - Customer care desk. He dint know about the electronic items and called the camera selling desk guy (Prakash).
                                Person 3 : 1st that guy said he is not the right person as this camera was bought online and when I scolded him for making me run from one corner to other, he agreed to have a look at the camera. To my surprise when he was trying to switch on the camera, it dint switch on.
                                Person 4 : Another Manager(not sure of the name) was called as Mr. Prakash couldnt help me with any solution. This Manager said he is not the right person and I might have to wait for another 1 hour to meet the electronics department Manager (Mr.Vikas).
                                Person 5 : Vikas spoke to me over the phone immediately and told he would help me out immediately and requested for 5 mins to callback and he never bothered to callback. When I called him back, he also couldnt help me immediately. I forced Vikas to share his Manager number and he gave me Mr. Kumerasan contact details ([protected] & [protected])
                                Person 6 : Kumerasan also was helpless and couldnt help me.
                                Person 7 : Another Manager called me (not sure of the name ) from the mobile number [protected] and told me he would help me with the solution. He provided me with a very funny resolution like : "Madam !! I shall surely help you. All you have to do is call the futurebazaar helpline number [protected] and they would be helping me". I told him I wont be able to call anyone and insisted for a clalback from Futurebazaar which I am yet to receive.

                                From security till the Person 7, everyone were telling that we need to send the camera back to Mumbai and they shall help me back as it was supposed to be their so called policy. Fine, I do agree every company has its own policies which needs to be followed. But, let me ask, dont you guys have a policy to send a fresh stock instead of sending an useless & dummy camera??????? Is that not against your policy and is actually a fraudulent thing.

                                Now I am been left with no other option except to buy another gift. Atleast, if you guys are really serious about serving the customers or care for them, do take up this case seriously and ensure customer satisfaction and STOP fradulant things.

                                  This is not the first time experience with BIG BAZAAR; generally they dispaly some offers in shelf and while billing they bill for whole amount. This time it was for a tooth paste (buy 1 get 1). Earlier with pickles and so on.

                                  All customers please be careful and dont keep your eyes off the billing screen. Though the amount is small but if you look at the numbers of customer buying it will be significant.

                                    I ordered a Mocca queen bed and 3 door wardrobe on 25 May 2012 from thane with advance payment of 12000 and remaining to be paid 2 days before delivery which was supposed to be on 26 june 2012 . I paid the remaining amt on 25 June 2012 and was promised to get the delivery by 27 June. I was told that the goods were defective and would be delivered after four days, then after four days when i contacted i was told that it was delayed due to stock intake at their Nagpur branch and so it would be delivered 1 week later.When I contacted 1 week later they said the goods were yet not reached their warehouse so it would be delivered 1 week later then 1 was told that the goods are defective once again which seems to be their favourite lie. However, I am very disappointed to tell you that the first product was delivered 3 days late and the second has not even been delivered yet! Its been more than a month now and I have no idea about its status.

                                    Moreover, what pains me more is that nobody bothered to inform me about the delay and I had to call up regularly to follow-up on the status. I was even more surprised by the indifferent attitude of the customer support staff. Since 16/04/2010, I have been given 3 different dates that the product will be delivered on but it never happened. After 15 days of daily follow-ups, I find myself trapped and I don't know whether to keep waiting for the delivery or ask for a refund.

                                    This whole episode has given a huge blow to my confidence in HomeTown. I have always been keen to visit HomeTown but I am not sure if this will be the same. Sir, I request you to please look into this matter and do the needful.

                                    We had ordered furniture worth Rs. 72, 000 from the Hyderabad store on 25th March (one six seater dining table, 2 double beds, 1 bookshelf, 2 large Sleepwell mattresses). We were told delivery would be from 8th April onwards due to year end audit. On 8th when we called to enquire, we were informed that there would be further delay. We have been following up every day and every time the dept. manager Mr. G. Shrikanth says it'll be delivered in two days.

                                    Our dining table and mattresses were delivered on 13th April after we threatened to cancel the order. Even for assembly of bookshelf and table, we had to follow up many times. Mr. Shrikanth had committed 100% that the beds would be delivered on 16th April, but yesterday we were informed it would be two days more.

                                    We are very disappointed with the service. We have to keep following up and deadlines get pushed every time. The funny part is we get call from warehouse that they are coming for delivery and then they dont show up. When we call the store, Mr. Shrikanth says that the warehouse made a mistake, there is no stock!

                                    We chose Hometown because we wanted reliable delivery. I think we made a serious mistake. Henceforth, we will never shop at Hometown. This has been a very mentally stressful experience.

                                    I hv purchased sofa set - 3 seater recliner and 2 seater sofa from Hometown Mantrimall Bangalore on 25 Oct 2020. The store has taken upfront payments of INR 84500 and promised delivery by 26 Nov 2020. However surprisingly store has informed 2 seater is out of stock and forced me to accept delivery of 3 seater recliner. I sensed the problem & denied partial delivery.

                                    When I approached store they informed me that 2 seater manufacturing is stopped. I requested for refund but they denied and forced me to wait. Till today there is no confirmation on delivery neither they are refunding amount. Store manager response is very hopeless even after several reminder call or messages he is not bothered to response. Customer care as usual helpless and keep on extending delivery date to 30nov then 3 dec then 7 dec now 10 dec.

                                    I hv not seen such irresponsible adamant behaviour from any of furniture shop and store is spoiling image and brand name.
                                    Request highest authority to intervene and resolve issue either through quick assured delivery or refund of my full amount.

But suddenly after a week of time the customer care executive called and told the product was not available. we will refund the amount you can reorder the product. But i am unable to use the code. They simply using the code without delivering the product.
