[Resolved]  HP Compaq Laptop — avoiding free gift redemption

I have purchased a compaq laptop model V3604 TU on 30.11.07. With the purchase a free gift of cordless headphone was to be supplied. For the gift the registration was required to be done on hp promotion website. I did the registration part and got the confirmation on my mail that the headphone will be supplied on sending some documents and a demend draft of Rs. 800/-. I had sent all the required documents and the draft of Rs.800 in the second week of december. A redemption code was also given to me on the same mail to claim the gift. Now they have returned my draft with a letter which says that quote"we would like to inform you that we have received the hard copies of claim for the free gift offer on purchase of HP pavillion/compaq presario notebook. This is to confirm that we are unable to process your claim due to the reason mentioned below.Your claim documents are being returned to you along with this letter. Amount is wrong Rs 600/= received only." Although they have returned my draft and still say that they have received Rs.600/= only but they will not process my claim and not send my gift. On enquiry over telephone they say that what was written in the mail sent by them is irrelevant. now they will not send me the free gift. Instead they will give me a different gift which they have not disclosed in the letter and for which i have to send a different draft of Rs.600/-. All these information has been verbal only . They will not intimate this change in status in writting. It seems that HP compaq people are doing only fraud not intending to give the free gift. If they cannot provide the free gift they should shamelessly accept this . They are only cheating the customers. Kindly take up the matter with the concerned company

I have purchased Laptop compaq model no.Compaq Presario Cq40-144Tu Notebook PC on DEC.26.2008.
This deal also had a free gift of Philips 5 in 1 home theatre towards which I had also sent a DD for 1500/- for its delivery to HP redemption cell. I received the message from them that I would receive the gift within 6 weeks. Later on it was again delayed for 4 weeks. Last email I received from them on 6th of April in which they again mentioned 30 days time. Now over six months have passed since date of purchase and there is no reply from them nor any mention of despatch details. Pls solve my problem and let me know the reasons for the delay. Pls send your reply in my email..

I have purchased the HP Pavilion DV5_1104TU Laptop and as per the terms and condition i have claimed the gift which has been offered by U under my REDEMPTION CODE No. OMS4ISLH4U, but no reply has yet been received by me. Please intimate me early as possible.
One whos name is Vandana Bhardwaj have reported my case to Neha Sehgal programme executive to take action in this regard but yet to day no action has been taken even a sigle messege given to me and i am unable to receive my claim now i am bound to meet with the retailer and return the product.

I purshase a compaque note book at 2 April 2009.Note book not recieved charging properly. I submit my note book at TAYAL SERVICE CENTRE. UDAIPUR (RAJ). at 30 MAy, 09.

I can not recieved my note book till now. Service centre also donot give me answer properly.
I am very hopeless about compaque service.
I have cancelled my out of station reservation many times. Some projects reports also pending due to laptop so I also loss my reputation in company.
Who" s the responsible for this situtation ?

compaq- c738tu- hp presario — never got completely installed drivers, some of the drivers are always missing, & video driver can never being installed

send me all the drivers, coz i never yet recieved all hte drivers, also video drivers never worked, while installing it ever shows a notification that ur "note book doesnt meet the minimum requirement of the video driver", isnt it fair for consumers without working of video driver. also some of the drivers is never been found, & i knew yhat through my driver cure software, give me a proper solution regarding it, or mail me all hardware one by one, thnk u.

Compaq laptop — poor performance of battery backup of newly purchased laptop

I have puchased my compaq laptop (CQ45-207TU) with standard cnfiguration and with one year warranty by HP S.NO. CND84515JZ on 25th march 2009 from PACE COMPUTECH PVT.LTD., vikas marg Delhi.
Since my purchase i strongly notice that the battery back-up is only 15-20 minutes only. It is very unfortunate for me .Secondly i want window XP configuration, which is not given by HP.What is the remedy of this.Battery Back-up problems is very embarrassing situation for me because i have purchased only 4 months back.I have strong faith in your brand and service please take positive action and confirm me accordingly.

2. hard disk
3.moter board
4. display problem
5.mouse pad
almostly i had totaly change my notbook......

I purchased the HP CARE Pack (3 years extended warranty program) which they mentioned they will give me a HP Runner Back pack free worth Rs 2200/-.
But I recieved a Backpack of Targus. When I said this to the service center, they gently said this offer is from them & not from HP. while HP clearly mentions this offer.
Even I get a Certificate of HP of Exteneded Warranty.

Service Center has put the Runner Backpack for Sale for Rs2200/- and given me a cheap quality Backpack.
HP service is worst. I called every possible complaint number of HP. but every one give the other person number. Even one of there CSA told its a case of Fraud, but did not note my complaint.

sir/madam, recently i purchased a compaq notebook-610 compaq showroom, neheru place, delhi.but unfortunatly its CD drive stopped working from the very next day.i submitted i to service centre at safdargang, new delhi, where the assured me to collect it within 5 days.but still 20 days have been passed its complain is under processing.since, i m a IT student, i am facing a big loss regarding my syllabus.
please tell me did i hav commited any mistake choosing COMPAQ in this compition, where other companies are providing much better facilities...

this is a real kind of fraud by a co. like compaq & is also a very irrespnsible customer care services by ur co.
look in to the matter urgently & replace my gift immidiately with the one i was been committed with
