Respected sir,
I am a resident of Chandrapur Maharashtra. I have a connection with m/s.Suvidha Gas, mul road, chandrapur (M.S.) bearing consumer no.601720.
After having given twice the consumer no for booking to the above said authorities, I was shocked to be told that i have booked the gas only the previous day when i phoned to call and ask about delivery.It means that the number is not registered on the same day. There seems to be mass black marketing of cylinders going on right at the office premises of m/s.Suvidha Gas. Also I was told that they give you a cylinder at additional Rs.50/- even if you are not a consumer of HP Gas but do posess an HP cylinder.
Also I request you sir to please ask the Suvidha Gas Agency to be more kind and courteous to its consumers.

      System failure. It is not responding after power on. Respond immediately, failing our students will suffer a lot and it will probably be your resposibilty because system is under warrenty period.

      hp compaqnc6000 after working for why, if i shutdown it will refuse to on immediately on till get cool and some time it will boot to desktop, the system will pause there. on till i holddown the power button to of and try to on immediately it will refuse
      pls what is the solution about that problem.

        I bought Hp laptop nx series in 2005 for my MBA, the same is working fine till date - interms of Battery Back up, hardwares (touchwood). however my other batch mates who bought acer, dell have faced many problems.

        This is regarding the complaint about my hp notebook

        Model Number : v3155au, Product number: RQ 130 pa, Serial number: 2ce65218js country of purchase India pune. coplaint number, [protected], cchsap200874,

        Complaint: 1.The book was firstly send to the service station almost one and half year back for the c.d drive problem which was changed by the company.still c.d. replaced drive was not satisfactory but I could not find satisfactory reasons for complaint because of the problems were not permanent but coming sometimes like drive was not able to run some of the cds or dvds but I still compromised and did not complaint.( here I did the market servey also about the product and I came to know that this is a common problem with this kind of model)

        2. Secondly, after one year and two months of purchase the laptop was not showing the display which was a motherboard problem.I called up the shop from where I purchased and they said that this is the common problem with this kind of hp model .they said that motherboard is a major component so the whole book has gone waste.the book was gone out of warranty.I deposited the book at vintek centre model colony service station of hp in pune.and I requested them that if company has launched a wrong product without testing the product customer should not suffer for this although it has gone out of warranty still customer can not bear the loss of 36000 rs in one year and two months. Then the hp main center got agreed to replace the mother board and they told me that go to vintek center and the will replace the part free. But still after the company was agreed to replace the mother board vintek centre refused it so many times that it took another three months almost and lot of mental torture and a long distance calls to main center in my woking hours then I got my book. That time the company people agreed that we have replaced even the product is out of warranty because we know that this is common defect in the product. Then I told them why don’t you just change the product and give me relevant model which should be value for money. They said this problem will not happen again and moreover the warranty has been extended two more years.I said will extended warranty solve the machine problem if not kindly replace it. They assured me that it will work alright so I agreed and took my book back home.

        3. when I started using my book it was used to over heat still and still sometimes display started going sometimes but I did not complaint thinking of the past torture of the procedure and my work loss. Almost in nine to ten months motherboard stopped working and display was gone completely. I went to service station again and told them the same problem has happened again they deposited my note book.even they heck the warranty whi9le depositing on the net then only they take it but the took it and after one week they said it has gone out of warranty. Then I reminded them that warranty was extended for total three years. They said no we have written that we have extended for one year. Then I called so many times to delhi call center they connected me to higher authorities also.i called more than 30 times to different people related to thi and every time they said I will receive a call from company but I could not receive even a single call from any company people in four months which proves that company has no answer and they are just delaying and torturing so that I should step back.My request is that I want a proper product for my 36000 rs which should run properly atleast sufficient amount of time.If company has launched a wrong product in the market of without testing customer should not suffer for it. Even if machine is out of warranty the history of the problem started within warranty period. Secondly this is common problem regarding the product so it has nothing to do with warranty.warranty given I applicable to the normal productsnot for the company mistakes.My complaint is against the company who is launching wrong untested products in the mrket, troubling people for not even getting back to the people with satisfactory answer even once in four months.( once I called the service stn and someone told me that the company has stopped this product because it was not successful and was having lot of complaints so its components are not available now.) whtever reason wether components are not available or it’s a defected product that’s not my fault as a customer.I have used my book not more than thrice a week for one hour average. I want justice for my 36000 thousand rs. I need company to replace my book and give me relevant model secondly I need compensation for my workloss.I deposited my book on 28-02-09 and till date I have not got any answer after knocking them so many times.What kind of justice what kind of behave and what kind of product company is selling to torture the customer.I as a customer want company to stop launching such kind of products in the market and improve their service otherwise they should shut down the company.All my workloss and my mental torture the company will be responsible for everything for the delay in justice.I as a customer here demand again and again for the justice of my 36000. Please do the needful.

          2 months back I've taken an account in Citibank Suvidha for my salary credit.Where ever thay asked directly/through phone/or any other communication I haven't ever requested for a credit card .
          Last week Friday (23rd May) I got a call from Citibank person that he want some information to send the free credit card.Very clearly I told him I'm not interested and don't send to me.Then he started raising on me and started speaking in Hindi which I can't follow, and then disconnected the call.All the time I repeated "I don't want any type of credit card at any cost even free"
          And again on Last Monday (26th May) I got a call from[protected] around 11 am asking the same and to him also I very cleary mentioned "I don't want the card and don't send to me" and the call got disconnected.
          2 days after 28th May I got a message "Your request for CitiBank credit card has been approved.You can receive it within 5 days" and today the courier person is asking me to collect the card.I didn't accept the card and send him to return it back, with the reason.

          These people are specially trained to behave like these to customers ?
          Just think, we are in our own pressures of work, family and all .keep on calling and behaving like this and wasting our precious time ...will it make any reputation to the bank service ?
          I'm struggling like anything to pay another credit card amount which crossed lakhs, seeking other ways, even loans to pay the money ..These all stories I've told to the people who they called up me regarding credit cards and still they are doing like this way.
          Please please please ... let us allow to live peacefully, Its a humble request...

            Respected Sir,
            This is to inform you that I had lost my PAN Card and hence had applied for a duplicate PAN Card on 1st April 2008. I raised the request from the Bajaj IT Office in Jayanagar (Bangalore). The form was submitted as told by the concerned people, but till now I have not received my PAN Card. They had told me that I will be getting the PAN Card within 20 days, but that did not happen. I am still waiting for my PAN Card which was supposed to be delivered to my residential address.

            Please look into this matter urgently and kindly help me in getting the PAN Card ASAP.

                Hello All,
                This is Manish; I bought a HP Notebook (Model No-dv6767tx, p/n kp162pa#acj) with the best configuration.

                I bought this Notebook for SAP ERP solution. When I gave this Notebook to My company SAP Bases guy for SAP installation, he found Vista doesn't support SAP so he said he can't install SAP in this system, Even he said he cant other Operating system in this notebook because there is no option to get the drivers. I spoke with HP guys got some drivers but few of them doesn't support this particular model like Audio driver, Mobile Intel chipset Family driver, Nvidia Video driver and webcam driver.
                We have installed Windows XP in system but my machine's few functions are not working like Sound card, Nvidia graphics card web cam.

                Today morning I called you up and I had a talk with a Customer Care executive, he said he can't help me out and said go-ahead and sue HP and has disconnected the phone.

                I have bought this laptop on 5th April' 08 and since that time i am not able to do my work at this machine.

                I am really very upset with your Customer Care dept. and I am getting frustrated with this notebook. Please send me drivers which are support to this particular model or suggest me what to do.

                From your email, we understand that some software is not compatible with the windows vista operating system.
                Manish, in this regard I need to share with you that there are some software, which are not compatible with Windows Vista Operating System. It gives an error message while installing. Therefore, it is requested not to use the software, which is not compatible with Windows Vista Operating System.

                The software shipped with pre-installed Windows Vista operating System is compatible with it and it is recommended to use it.
                Regarding other third party software I would request you to contact to the software vendor in order to know the compatibility issue with Windows Vista Operating System.

                The Moral of the Story:
                · HP will only be able to provide you hardware support. Software support shall be provided by Microsoft.
                · I believe I am not owner of this product because HP and Microsoft don’t allow us to use this system according to my convenience.
                · They suggested me to change my profession for a laptop and move on for other technology because Vista doesn’t support SAP.
                I will really appreciate if you will help me out to get the solution for this

                complain i don think so this is the serious issues, the guy must be frustrated some other resion don know y
                I have precisely the same complain. Vista is a operating system, slow, unstable and incompatible with most useful technical softwares. HP does not provide support unless you use Vista. Worst of all they do not give you the required XP compatible drivers. I think there is an unhealthy cartel forming between HP and Microsoft to promote Vista. I would not recommend anyone to buy HP laptops unless his sole use is browsing the net and seeing movies. Consider buying Dell instead which does not have these issues.

Now it will ask you to enter the model number of your product. Just fill '6767' but before clicking 'Go', above the search box, locate the option 'Download drivers and software'. Then out of the search results, select your notebook. Then it will ask you to select your OS. Here, select 'Windows XP' and you are done.                 I had similar if not more frustrating experience with the same model...both the OS and the finish quality... got the same rude and irritating response and after 3 weeks of running behind these guys and wasting my time they provide me with a replacement thats twice as bad.. so i eentually cameto an understanding with the dealers to provide me with a dell which has much better service as well as compatibility and built quality.
                Hi, While I understand very well how cheated you feel about the whole issue, I would nevertheless advise you to just forget about Vista (and wasting time with the customer service of HP, as they care a damn about your worries) and install Ubuntu Linux on your HP (it's easy). Did it for an aquaintance who is still smiling :-) with utter satisfaction(nirvana).
                Need any help, just get in touch with me or try to find a Linux hacker in your area - my promise you won't be disappointed !
                I am also facing same problem, installed xp and didn't able to find any sound drivers till now, i had chat with serveral hp service executives no use. Let me know what to do now.
                Hi Naga, I will suggest you to install "UBUNTU" linux on your notebook. Its one of the best linux distros. In my opinion, it will automatically configure all your hardware components the way XP does. It easy to use, just like XP.
                manish, i too hav the same problem.. its really a disgusting experience.. can u pls update me i[censored]'ve got a solution for this problem.. any help in this regard is higly appreciated..
                Same problem with me.

                uninstalled vista and loaded XP to install an ERP application on my laptop.

                This was back in 2008 and still not able to find the compativle Nvidia video drivers

                  Dear Sir,

                  I have procured a compaq laptop with serial no CNF7484MKJ amd aTHLON - X2 in mar 2008 from a local dealer of HP Mr Nitin from Lucknow. Now i have noticed a problem with the caps lock. its not functioning properly. Further the drivers for the laptops driver with windows xp are not functional and available. I have informed the problem of this product to the local dealer for almost 20 days and no action has been taken by the firm till now on this subject. i request HP to reslove this issues of poor services and irresponsible dealers who bring bad name to company, marr the reputation of product and company and provide me with local service no. for contact

                  Compaq — inter connection problem

                  i have compaq presario cq40 model of laptop. when i connect lan through it, it shows that lan is coonected but it does not ping the server and display the message " request timed out"

                    On March 8, 2008, we purchased a brand new computer and printer. The computer came with Vista already pre-installed. The Microsoft Word was a 60-day trial version pre-installed on the computer. We are writing to file a complaint because we have not been able to use Microsoft Word for a combined total of 5 whole hours, if that much.

                    The first problem we encountered was that this brand new computer would not accept the WalMart Service Provider Disc. (We are currently paying for this service but unable to use it right now because this Hewlett Packard product has rejected it). Due to this problem we are losing money through no fault of our own as consumers.

                    The second problem that we have been stuck with is a failure of the Microsoft Word Operating System to operate. I have contacted Hewlett Packard a minimum of 5 separate times, explaining the problem and noting the various representatives' names. Our computer is still not working and the Hewlett Packard Technical assistance Case Manager Kate advised on April 8, 2008, that they can not resolve the problem.

                    We want to be able to use the product we paid for. We want Hewlett Packard to take the responsibility of standing behind their product. We have spent $600.00+ on this computer and deserve and expect to be able to use the Microsoft Word function for the time allotted. We are being inconvenienced, are not being able to use a product we paid for and are losing money.

                    Now, I will give you the background:

                    March 8, 2008:
                    On March 8, 2008, we purchased a brand new Compaq Computer. A printer came with this purchase. Vista was already pre-installed on this computer also. We had heard numerous complaints about Vista but had no choice since it was installed on all the computers we looked at.


                    March 9, 2008:
                    I hooked the computer and printer up on March 9, 2008.

                    March 17, 2008:
                    On March 17, 2008, my mother attempted to practice typing on the computer, however, Microsoft Word would not operate properly. Each time we tried to type we received a message that said, "This modification is not allowed because the selection is locked."

                    After trying unsuccessfully to get Microsoft to work, on March 17, 2008 @ 2:50pm, I called Hewlett Packard to resolve the problem. I spoke with representative Throteu and was given Service Ticket Number [protected]. Ms. Throteu then transferred me through to the technical department at which time I remained on the telephone with Rebecca for over an hour. Rebecca tried various options, which did not work. She advised me to unplug any peripherals that I had installed. At her instruction, I unplugged my printer. She then walked me through the process of a system recovery. Rebecca advised that she believed that Microsoft Word had expired on March 16, 2008 in spite of the fact that we had not had the computer for more than 8 days. Rebecca stated that she would call back later in that evening. At approximately 5:18 p.m. Rebecca called back at which time I checked the computer and it was in fact functioning properly.

                    March 18, 2008:
                    On March 18, 2008, I attempted to use the Microsoft Word portion of the computer. Again, the system failed to operate properly. I got the same messages I received on March 17, 2008 "This modification is not allowed because the selection is locked." I again contacted Hewlett Packard. At 2:33 p.m., on this day, I spoke with Suma from the Technical Support. Again, I was walked through the process of a system restore returning the computer to its original factory content. At 3:45pm the system recovery was complete and I was able to use Microsoft Word. The session ended at 4:10pm.

                    I did not reinstall the printer. My mother was able to practice typing during the week of March 18th.

                    April 7, 2008:
                    April 7, 2008 @ 10:17 p.m., I wanted to type a letter and needed to print it. I re-installed the printer (HP Deskjet 1400 that is compatible with 2000, XP & Vista). Upon reinstalling the printer and attempting to type the letter, I was again given the same error message "This modification is not allowed because the selection is locked'. I contacted Hewlett Packard at approximately 10:19 p.m. I spoke with Jason of the Technical Department. I advised Jason that I had called several times regarding the same problem and that I wanted to file a complaint against Hewlett Packard because we were being ripped off. Jason suggested that I go to another computer, go to www.openoffice.org, download the link, save the information to a CD-ROM and then transfer the program to my mother's computer. Jason stated that other than doing this, I was left with no other resolutions. I advised Jason, that I purchased this product in good faith with hard earned money and someone would have to address and resolve this problem created by the company. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was advised that no supervisor was available. I gave Jason my phone number to be contacted the next day.


                    April 7, 2008:
                    At 10:58 p.m., I called back to Hewlett Packard to see if a supervisor was available (believing that Jason was lying to me and giving me the runaround). I was transferred to Katie. Katie advised that Hewlett Packard does not have Technical Supervisors, they are non-technical supervisors only. I explained the problem to Katie, asked if a supervisor was available, advised her that I wanted to file a complaint.

                    Katie transferred me to a non-technical supervisor named Jerry. At 1l: 20 p.m., I spoke with Jerry who failed to offer any resolution for solving the problem with Microsoft Word and the brand new computer. I once again explained the on going problem with the inferior product we had received and also the problem with the incompatible Internet Service Provider Disc.

                    Jerry took the liberty of 'advising' me that it was the customers responsibility to investigate compatibility. It was necessary for me to instruct Jerry that it is Hewlett Packard's and Microsoft's responsibility to sell the consumer a product that is functioning as it should for the money they spend. Additionally, that we did in fact investigate the purchasing of a new computer, that we were instructed not to get Vista, and I also advised Jerry that consumers have no control over the fact the Hewlett Packard and Microsoft have collaborated together pre-installing Vista on computers and the consumer is simply left to deal with it.

                    Upon repeatedly advising Jerry that I would need to file a complaint, he provided the following address: 20555 Sh 249, Houston, TX 77070.

                    Jerry then suggested that I check to see if the problem lied with the printer...as a way to be rid of me because they were unable to resolve the on-going problem. Jerry gave the phone number for the printer service. At ll: 30 p.m., I contacted a representative named Auto. Auto had me uninstall and reinstall my printer and then he ran some test pages. Auto advised that the printer was working fine and the problem did not lie within the printer.

                    April 8, 2008
                    No supervisor called me back, so I again contacted Hewlett Packard. At 11:47 a.m., I spoke with Sidd. I advised Sidd of the on-going problem and advised him that I needed to speak to a supervisor so that I could file a complaint. I advised Sidd that I was getting the runaround and was incensed by Hewlett Packard's failure to resolve this on-going problem. At 12:02 p.m., I was transferred to Supervisor AJ. AJ advised that he was documenting notes and he would relay my problems to the case manager. I was transferred to Case Manager Katie[protected] X79) and given case reference number [protected].

                    I advised Katie that I needed to file a complaint as I was experiencing the same on-going problem with my brand new computer and Microsoft Word. Kate suggested that the program was not operating correctly because the trial version had not been registered. She provided the telephone number to Microsoft so that I could register the product.
                    (The knowledge I do have informs me that I do not have to register a product to be able to use it or have it operate properly.) I realized that Katie was continuing the pattern of failing to resolve the problems I was having with this Hewlett Packard product and also giving me the continued run around.)

                    However, in an effort to try every possible suggestion, I contacted Microsoft. On April 8, 2008 @ 3:57 p.m. I contacted Microsoft Officer Support. I spoke with Representative Gilbert. Gilbert asked for the serial number of my Operating System Software and I advised him that the Vista came pre-installed on the Hewlett Packard computer.

                    Gilbert advised that Microsoft only sells software; that Hewlett Packard manufactured the computer and Hewlett Packard purchased the software that came pre-installed on my computer. Gilbert further advised that Hewlett Packard should be providing the full support that I need.

                    Gilbert suggested that I (again) contact the Technical Supervisor. I informed Gilbert that I had been informed by Hewlett Packard that they did not have Technical support supervisors. Gilbert provided a number to contact Hewlett Packard[protected].

                    At 4:08 p.m., I again called Hewlett Packard. I asked for Case Manager Katie. I relayed the information I had received from both the printer representative and the Microsoft Office Representative to Katie. I advised Katie that I did not like being given the runaround and required honesty. I advised her that I needed to file a complaint against Hewlett Packard and with the government agency overseeing the Hewlett Packard company and I informed her that I needed to have my computer operating in the way that I paid for it to operate.

                    Katie supplied the following address: CEO, Hewlett Packard Company, 3000 Hanover Street, 20 BX, Palo Alto, CA 94304 and she stated that they could not resolve the problem I was having with their product.

                    In closing, it is necessary that Hewlett Packard resolves the on-going problem we are having with Microsoft Word so that it is properly functioning; make amends for our utter inconvenience and runaround by the representatives of this company. One month has already passed on this 60-day trial. This is unacceptable. I am thoroughly dissatisfied with this product and the way in which this on-going problem was handled.

                    Additionally, each and every time I called HP, someone tried to sell me the $149.00 Microsoft Operating System package. I continually advised them that if the trial version is inferior and failing to operate properly and after having spent $600.00+ on a brand new computer, why would I then spend additional money on a operating system that is not working. If we had known that we would only be receiving a trial version we would not have purchased this product.

                    Also, since Hewlett Packard felt such indifference for this consumer by giving her the runaround, I will also follow through with a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

                        Airtel post paid connection i am using from past 3 yrs but two days back taken one more post paid SIM at evening 5:30pm, sales guy said it would be activated max by 11.55am on the same day, yesterday i called the agent on his mobile & i had informed him still its not activated, airtel sales person said i will call u back in 5 mins yesterday afternoon @ 1:30pm since then he never call me back, i had given him atleaset 20 calls yesterday from 3pm till 8pm but he never picked his phone, later today morning i called up 121 from my other mobile, twice airtel customer support guy had listened by query for 3 mins and then he disconnect, same happen again thrird time when i called 121 one more person picked the call to whom i had informed all the things whihc had happended, he told to call once again to the same person with whom i took SIM CARD POST PAID --- and his voice was bit arrogant looks like he had taken some drugs - i had also said why r you talking so bluntly, he said sorry 5 times, i said its okay as if you would had been in my position, you would have been also bit agitated from past two days i am chasing 121 & person name MOHAMHAD sales person from airtel, i work for HP and had taken 4 post paid connection plus broadband 256 KBPS pls phone, but suddenly he disconnected the phone all of the sudden call time was for 7 mins. I think Customer care guys especially guys, boys who picks up the phone @ 121 doest have any decency how to deal with the customer, now i am going to esclated the same in my company ---about this also finding if can get some info. of some higher profile person in Airtel Bangalore, to him also i will esclate if anyone has any number of any airtel person sitting @ higer level in bangalore please do let me know, services are suck i am sure to convert all my 4 post paid to VODAPHONE since its a UK telecom company recenthy had a tie up with HUTCH, but airtel overall is good incase of coverage and all but guys in customer care guys are very arrogant & doesnt understand the pain of the customer is facing from so many days who simply doing job for money, dont brother either customer leaves airtel or not . highly unsatisfied i am .

                            I have bought 1 laptop & finance with Bajaj in ECS. it has been rejected by bank stating mandate not received. I have asked Bajaj to send me a copy of mandate which they did not provide me. I have been charged around 2000Rs as bank charges where there was balance in my bank. It was esclated already to top officials and I did not get any positive response from them. My bank name is ABN Amro and they want mandate copy as for them they did not receive any from Bajaj. Bajaj is not able to provide me any copy of mandate too. They have sent me a copy of courier which does not state anything.
                            Please can some one help me out as I am sick and tired of this. I can tell you this is pathetic service I have ever got.

                            I have purchased the Compaq Laptop Presario V3000 about 1.5 years back. Since that time, it has NOT been working properly and every now and then, there are some or the other issues with the same. I got a good support from the Service Centre but after a certain limit, it seems that they are also helpless.
                            Nowadays, the laptop heats up very fast and even there is a strange sound which comes. The speakers are not working.
                            I dont know whats happening but I shall strongly say that just because people like Shahrukh Khan are the brand ambassadors of the same, PLEASE DO NOT purchase the Compaq laptops which are cheap in price and so are in quality.

                            HP Compaq — DON'T Buy A Compaq

                            As a computer professional I should have known better. After working on dozens of Compaqs for friends and in work environments, you would think I would know better. After the absolute nightmare I had with my Brother's Compaq desktop a year ago, you would think I would learn. Being a Quality Control specialist makes it even worse - I REALLY should have known better.

                            I bought the Compaq laptop because I couldn't afford the extra $700 to get the Dell with the same features. I should have kept my money in my pocket, because I am left without a laptop and virtually no hope that the clunker of a lemon that I bought from Compaq will EVER function. Their stuff is JUST JUNK, pure and simple. DON'T EVER BUY COMPAQ.

                            It has been a disaster from the word go. Worse, it is just the same sort of trouble you will find everywhere on the web when you type in a search for 'Compaq Complaints'.

                            - tech support is a total joke. Hours spent waiting for a connect, who speaks virtually no english, and whose first statement (before anything else) is 'your laptop is out of warranty' - even when it is not. This 'out of warranty' tactic is their standard fare - just read anywhere on the net. This is fraud, and you would think that some regulatory agency somewhere would be interested in fining them or something, but I truly think that it has come down to 'Look, YOU are the who bought Compaq, you deserve what you get.'

                            - tech support is from a computer illiterate who walks you through a standard set of instructions from the tech support database, with no chance of any real world kind of help.

                            - The unit has never worked properly, and never will. My particular problem is that the unit shuts down randomly. Just powers off mid-task. Won't power on again until you use a paper clip to reset the unit. Eventually it crashes so hard that it just will not power up at all. Take the battery out for a few days and try again, and the cycle starts all over again.

                            -ifwhen I sit through another 5 hours of agonizing tech support and if I am allowed to send the unit in for repairs, based on what I see on the web I would expect the unit to vanish into the ether - their repair records are horrible - they lose RMA computers all the time, and then refuse to acknowledge that they even recieved them.

                            If you are considering buying a Compq, for whatever reason DO NOT DO IT. The products are garbage, and the company is the poster child for corporate dishonesty, low quality and unfair tactics. DON'T BUY A COMPAQ - DON'T MAKE AN EXCEPTION 'JUST THIS ONCE'.

                            If it is between 'can't afford a computer' and Compaq, live without the computer - because if you buy a Compaq, you will not get a working computer, and you will just be out your money with the added bonus of a huge case of frustration. I just cannot say this enough: DON'T BUY A COMPAQ !!!

                            I know this is against law, to force someone to purchase a product which he or she doesn't want

                            I am having problem with installing linux on my laptop, model Compaq 610, which i did buy yesterday. At the time of installation just when the system check is over the GUI mode appears asking for different options and asking about partition. The GUI is not appearing. Just a black screen appears with nothing and the system gets hanged.
                            I am not able to trace the problem.I thought it would be with the memory share for graphics but I did not find any option in bios to change the share.

                            HP — Fraud during the warranty period of service

                            It was all started on 14 Aug 2009 when i trusted HP as brand and purchased HP laptop from Nehru Place, New Delhi. With a month on 11 Sep i started facing problem with my Web cam. I contacted their Cust care and ask for the solution.Despite telling them that the problem is with plugging the video device, they send me the link to download the new web cam and overwrite the old one. Doing that problem was not sorted out and then they ask me to restore the laptop to factory setting through F-11, they didn't inform me to save the data and my whole data was lost. I have sent the mail to HP dept complaining about this but never got any response.
                            Finally i submitted my laptop to service center on 14-Sep in Okhla, New Delhi. They promise me to solve the problem with 3-4 days as they need to change the whole panel which they have ordered from Bangalore.After waiting for given period i chase them and got reply that part is still awaited and they to continue to answer this till i finally went to their service centre. After 13 days on 26-Sep i ask them to return my laptop or replace this with new one as cannot wait for any long.Their reply was because part is still awaited so we were not able to solve your problem. They ask to wait till 30 Sep and promise me to deliver the laptop by 30-Sep.On 30-Sep they delivered my laptop and took my signature on receipt where it was mentioned that my panel was changed. After checking my Laptop i find some scratches on front panel on my laptop, when it was clearly mention on receipt that their are no scratches at the time of submitting it.I find myself working in standby laptop. Within half and hour of delivery i contact the service centre and inform about the scratches, they inform me that we have only change your cam and will change the whole panel and web cam panel once we received the affected part as it is still awaited. They ask me for week time to all this. I have registerd the same complaint to Banglore center where i contacted Shekar at no[protected], they asked me to send the bills and details about the case id which i have with service center. After providing them with all these things and chasing them i have got nothing, my problem is still their.As they are in no mood to change the system.On 12 Oct i have contacted service center for the replacement of system they inform me part is still awaited. I asked them to simply replace my laptop as i cannot wait for anylong. Its been a month and you have not been able to solve te problem. After that within 15 minutes they gave me call back and inform me that they have got the part and will replace at my doorstep.

                            How can it possible to arrange a part which is awaited for a month. get arranged in 15 minutes. I don't trust them anymore, please help in geting my money back as i now don't want any replacement. HP such a big brand, i have lost confidence in them. How can somebody take my signature on thing which is not their?I feel cheated in all this process as they talk my signature on receipt where it was mention that my panel has changed and arranging standby part for my new brad..I think i made a blunder by choosing such a big brand name, where nobody is ready to take the responsibility for the customer concern and are not ready to solve the problem. Every time i contact their executive they have hell lot of excuses. The worse part of all this is i have not got any satisfactory answer from any of their executive. I have escalated my problem many time through mail but have not got any response from your side.I want HP to compensate me for all this thing and or return my money which i have invested in laptop. In this whole episode i was the only person who has suffered mentally, physically and financially. Now i cannot wait for a moment to wait for a part which is awaited for 30 days. Hopefully you will take action and solve my problem to the earliestand provide me with a solution, me as customer cannot suffer anymore.

                              since last oct when thakurpukur bazar HP pump ( over D H Road Thakurpukur bazar PO & PS Thakurpukur South 24 paraganas West Bengal ) got a massive face lift and new machines I a resident of behala chowrasta PO & PS Behala South 24 paraganas started taking a 2KM ride for refill.I usually used to take from HP outlet at the X-ing of D H Rd & Burdwan Rd but not from Sakherbazar pump due to rough behavior.
                              recently for last 2 months the thakurpukur pump is behaving abnormally

                                I bought a Printer No HP 6318 All-in-One for Rs.13000/- with 1 yr warranty. After about 30 months the printer's logic card malfunctioned...

                                i complained to the Hp helpline nos...they said its out of warranty but i said i can pay for the repairs but it must be repaired as they never mentioned while selling that they have non-serviceable parts inside !

                                its been more than 1 month i did not get any reply or repairs done even when the cost of the printer is so high...

                                they did not even offer me another printer in exchange with this one...

From the date 1-August 2008 to 27- August -2008 spent for the servise . As their response, first time changed Hard Disk, Second time changed Mother Board. Yet, still the problem existing. So could not do any work and lost a lot of money and I requesting to change the machine. If not, this is informing you that, I am going to meet the Consumer court.

                                  compac computer — Claim Status

                                  I had purcased a compac laptop on 30 december from computer solution Faridabad.Under the offer of kodak digital camara.The dealer of the company assured me that it will be delivered within six months.I have completed all the required documents with Rs.1299 cheque ( for handeling & transportation).I called the compac redemtion cell so many times to know about my claim status but they given me always wrong insufficient informationon.On 27 June they send a letter with cheque that they have rejected the claim without giving any reason.
                                  They are not doing as they said according to the offer.Therefore I would like to hear the answer for heir deed or I would strictly take action against them.
                                  I think its absolutely correct.This company is just making fool of the customers.I do agree with the statement that a strict action must be positively taken.I would also like to add up hat ''Never buy any suff from this froded company'.'

                                  I have Compaq Presario C700 / 772TU, lots of problem i have to face to operate it. i am using win xp professional. my microphone is not working, and when i conect the headphone that time sound comes from Laptop speaker and headphone both. my dvd drive not working due to driver problem. battery backup is 10 min though i replaced it last year from hp service center. other problem is when i start notebook a msg display before booting "1720 - S.M.A.R.T. Hard Drive detects imminent failure (Failing Attr :05)

                                    I purchased a HP Pavilion Laptop from Computer exchange, Park Street, Kolkatta. The service provided by the sales outlet was callous and rude. Their sole aim was to sell the product and not provide good customer service. As the outlet was dealing with so many brands, I feel that with their service they are tarnishibg the image of the brands like HP, Lenovo and others.

                                      I bought a Compaq Presario V3133AU notebook from a HP reseller in Trivandrum in November 2006. In December 2006, after one month of expiry of warranty, it went dead. When I enquired at the reseller's office, they told that almost all the 3133AU systems that they sold were coming back with the same complaint exactly after the expiry of the warrranty period. Is HP manufacturing such products to last just one year? I got it repaired in December after paying Rs. 6000. In January, it again had the same complaint and I had to repair it spending an equal amount. Now in March, it is again showing the same complaint. The complaint is that the screen blurs and then the system goes dead.

                                      I had selected Compaq taking into consideration its brand status. Now I really feel pity for my choice to have selected Compaq. Let me tell you, as an aside, one of my close friends took a Compaq PC and it too went dead exactly after 1 year. What does this prove? Luckily, it was a PC, so he could get the motherboard replaced with that of Lenovo. But mine being a notebook, I cant even do that.

                                      I am working in BPO to fetch an income to sustain my studies. Now, the scenario is such that I have to get money as debts to pay for the repairs of this notebook every month.

                                      I am about to take the notebook to HP authorized service center in Trivandrum. I do not know how long I am going to continue with this process. The worst part is that, I have exams coming up in April, and this system is affecting my exams also, as it had affected my January exams. I am really so depressed at my decision to choose Comapq.
