Last 4 months has been a tough ordeal for me with HP India.Mistakenly i chosen HP pavilion laptop for personnal use instead of dell and gone ahead and purchased it on june 13th 2007 from a HP Reseller in Cochin,Kerala.

My model number is HP Pavilion DV9312tx

Serial Number CNF7190LJP

Product Code:GJ156PA

My TV Tuner card Redemption Code:NO75KFM43T

i applied for TV tuner card redemption offer on 20th of june 2007 and all the necessary documents plus Rs500 Demand draft in favor of solutions integrated marketing services limited newdelhi reached on 24th of june 2007.

I got confirmation of my tv tuner card from Hp Redemption cell newdelhi in 10 days time through an acknoledgement letter.

Since i purchased 64 pit laptop with windows vista ultimate 64 edition os,i enquired in both hp customer care as well as soultions integrated marketing services about the compatibility of tv tuner card i am going to get from them.

I was assured by both the parties that i will be getting a TV tuner card that will be compatible to my purchased item from HP.I was also assured that i should be getting my tv tuner card in 6-8 weeks from the time of registration.

Today after 4 months wait i got the tv tuner card from hp redemption cell new delhi,

but it is of no use for me

the tv tuner card i got today is of hauppauge wintv usb2 model which is incompatible with vista ultimate 64 bit or media center edition pc.

What is the point in sending something which i will never be able to use with laptop?

and why to give false promises like i will be getting WinTV HVR 900 series(which is the only comapatible card for my laptop)this was told by mr abhijith from solutions integrated services marketing limited newdelhi(looks after hp redemption)3 weeks back through telequery to me.

i really feel pity for HP brand,the people looks after hp here in india doing great job in destroying it faster.

By the way i want to return this incompatible tv tuner card back to HP could some one tell me what the procedure ?

(Note:i dont expect HP india to change dramntically after this,for them the customer is god only he pays the money for purchase once the purchase is done they just erase them from their services.Good work HP India,thanx mr balu doraisamy for such an excellent fake promotion)

hp pavilion DV2401 notebook — late in getting free gift

dear sir,
i hrudaya ,have already claimed for my free gift(Hauppage TV Tuner) on the date of 9th oct 2007, i have also postd the drft on the date of 10th nov 2007.But it is not delevered to me yet .
Therefore i request u to take necessary steps for it. i am weating for your replay.

I bought my new HP Laptop and applied for tv tuner card.I sent a draft of Rs 1000 towards procuring the tv tuner card to HP Redemption cell.
But till now i did not my tv tuner card.

Please comment and consider it utmost urgent.
Also it has been more than a month since i posted the draft to Hp Redemption cell.

I had already send DD of 1000/- Rs. . But has got no acknowledgment about it. from HP People.This is really disgusting. I think HP shud close their so called deppartmen "Customer Care" if they cant take care of their customers.
I bought a laptop of model v3424AU with windows vista. and i had an offer that i will be getting a headset and a web-camera as free.
I applied for headset and web-camera redemption offer on 26th of October 2007 with all the necessary documents plus 350 rs/- demand draft in favour of solutions integrated marketing services limited newdelhi reached on November 2 or 3rd of 2007.

I got confirmation of my headset and web-camera from Hp Redemption cell newdelhi in 10 days time through an acknoledgement letter.


After that i have keep on calling from November onwards for getting my redemption offer, but yet i didn't receive my redemption offer headset and web-camera, its almost around 5 months got over. when ever i am calling them, they are saying that i will be getting the gift within 7-8 days. I think it seems to be a fraud. Because even they are not providing the right information.

Hp pavillion dv2310 note book — note received the offer

I bought the Hp pavillion dv2310 notebook computer on october 2007. There was a promotional offer of TV tuner card for which I registere online and got a redemption code no RO6BROCLW and send the Demand Draft as required for transportation charges. Kindly let me know what is the status. It is very late
This is with regards to the level of customer service I've gotten from Nortech - the HP authorized service center in Cochin. My laptop is also from the same series as yours and the model number is dv9295ea.

Check out how I’m getting tossed around by HP Customer Care India. There are too many details to put up, you can read it all at http://www.koshyjohn.com/hp but suffice to say that the laptop has been faulty for over 9 months within warranty and its taken them 3 months to fix and yet its not up to the mark…

HP Customer Service in India is a pathetic joke.

We purchase this Laptop on 29 May 2007.

Problem is that I found that the CD/DVD Drive was not working. I went to claim guaranty from your HP Service Center, (RT OUTSOURCING SERVICE LTD) (Phone number[protected], 2654187) Dehradun, Near Bindal Pool. They returned the laptop after 5 days and found the same problem. S

So I went and put up another complain but had the same problem. Third time we made a marking on the CD/DVD Drive and gave it to them and showed the same problem. We came to know that they had been cheating the customer returning the same thing without replacing any of the items. We proved it by showing the marking we did on the CD/DVD Drive.

Somehow they did change but now the Laptop is unable to display anything on the screen. This problem occurred when it was within their care. The care center is not willing to repair stating, it is out of guarantee period. But the laptop was not displaying anything even the day they deliver it to me. They have been cheating me so I don’t trust them anymore. I assume they must have taken out our working MOTHERBOARD and replace with old items. Reason being this fault of Motherboard was never shown until laptop was given to the center.

I just want to request you to please kindly take this matter up with your care center and treat this matter immediately. Mr. Bharat Tyagi who is in-charge of the center and his colleagues cheated us badly. We express our deepest repulsiveness for being cheated by a reputed company like HP. Our next step if this is not entertained would be through Consumer Forum.
