I hadpurchased one Compaq Presario Desk Top SG 3053IL from M/s. GURU Infosys,6/268,tradecentre building,YMCA Cross road,Calicut,Kerala vide Invoice no.15106 dt. 23/8/2007asper the scheme for Onam Festival offer.According to them, some of the free gift items ie. Web Camera and Head set were to be sent to us directly b y the HP India directly by post within a few days. Though more than 83 days have passed, we have not received the said items nolr any intimation(.) On enquiry M/s. Guru informed us that the same would be received within one month(.) The same is yet to be received(.) Pl. arrange to send the same immediately

Ya, i am not convinced with the foresaid complaint. I have also purchased the hp m1005 lj printer from hp dealer. Firstly i got redemtion cell code, than also the draft of rs.250 in the name of the gurnazz kaur, c/o hp redemption cell,integrated solutions pvt ltd, nehru place, new delhi. More than 7 months have been elapsed but there is not any response or neither any gift as per the offer given by the company along with the gift was given not yet.

We sold it on dt.21.05.07 to our customer Mr. Nishant H. Gupta. With in 4 months complain came from customer that laptop shut down without any reason. We seen and checked but problem is continue.

We sent it to ahmedabad service center (XCORT MICRO SYSTEM) on date: 18.10.2007 Job Cad No..: 2725.
We received Laptop after 4 or 5 days from service centre.

Within 2 months Same problem or complain arise and again we sent it your service centre Dt. :17.12.2007. Job Card No. :3870.
We received laptop after 10 days.

Within one month Same problem again arise and we sent your service centre ahmedabad (xcort). Job card No. 3698 Dt. 9.1.2008.
We received Laptop after 10 Days.

That time your service centre give us promise that now laptop is absolutely ok and if problem continue then we replace your laptop.

We send our engineer 5 times your service centre for pick up our laptop.

Now, We face same problem again and we call your service centre and they lock call online and said that we pickup your laptop. After 10 days they pickup and giving us receipt 14346751 date 10.4.2008 courier: Safe Express.

Last 8 months our client’s can’t use laptop. This is very much harassment from your side. your customer service is very poor and horrible for us. Imagine we are facing problem last 8 months!!!

And with system I got scratch card and I found that I will get free smasung dvd player from HP
So, I have send that card for further processing but still waiting from last 100 days but there is no reply.

Do not purchase HP products.

We purchased HP Printer D2460 Deskjet on 22.1.2008. It had a trial cartridge which finished. We purchased a new cartridge no. 21 and 22 on 8.3.2008 for Rs. 1260.00. While printing a message comes about retreiving of ink and ink level is shown in four parts. Gradually the black ink finished and now we are again seeing the same message that the ink is being retrieved and the ink level is again shown to full, But the paper is printed only half and the later half comes out with blurred letters. What is the matter?
Is the ink finished and we shall have to buy another cartridge. If so it is a very costly affair. It is for my personal use. Please suggest what is the problem.

I Purchased Hp Printer model No D 1460 on 25-06-08 From Boot Com System Bhopaland the printer is not working from day 1 . I registered this complain to Hp Service Centre(Redington Ltd Bhopal) they told me that they will change as its not working and it will take approx 8 to 10 days.

The HP service is rediculous now after 2 days these people say that they cant change the product as the warranty void is broken.
I have purchased a Compaq note book computer from Capital Electronics, Kolkata on dated 03.05.07.Model no is Compaq Presario 506 (SL-CND7071L5W).

From the last 4 months I have noticed that the battery back up came down to 15-20 minutes whereas the battery alarm is not working from beginning.I am getting confused that I have purchased a note book from a reputed multinational company, still it is performing like goods from a local vendor. Please tell me what should I do with this useless machine?

Sub :- Complaint regarding the Hp Compaq NB 6720s Notebook (K1420PA)

Sir,
I purchased A Hp Compaq NB 6720s Notebook (K1420PA) body No.CNU8081742 from one of your dealers namely M/S Infotech, C-1, ground floor, Aruna park, laxmi nagar, Delhi-110092 on 25.04.2008 vide invoice no. ET/152/08-09.
That one day after the purchase i.e 0n 26.04.08 the keys of the keyboard stopped working and for this I approached the dealer on 27.04.08 and complained about the problem to the dealer. He got the system repaired and assured me that no problem will arise in the future.
That further on 07.05.2008 the system did’nt start and again I approached the dealer complained about the problem to the dealer. He got the system repaired and again assured me that no problem will arise in the future. Again on 19.07.08 the same problem aroused and I gave the system to the dealer agin. He returned the system back after the span of 9 days and also charged me Rs 500/- as a fees .
That from 29.07.08 the keyboard is not functioning properly and the dealer is asking the money to get the system repaired in spite of the fact that the system is still under warranty.
That I have already sufferd a lot of loss in my business transaction and a lot of mental agiony.
I therefore request you to look into the matter immediately and get my system exchange with a new one as it seems that the system has a manufacturing defect.
If it is not done so then it can create a lot of troubles in future also.

HP India — HP, cheating customers

I'd bought a Compaq laptop V6608AU, on the 30th of May, through which, I was entitled get a free wimusic receiver. I completed the formalities by sending the claim documents and a DD of INR 500 in favour of HP redemption cell, payable at New Delhi.
I was informed, on 1st Aug., by the redemption cell that the gift has been approved and they requested a period of 6-8 weeks for delivery. But, even after the expiry of this period I didn't received my gift. So, I inquired of the cell, on 18th Oct., as to what were the causes for delay and I was informed that they were out of stock and i shall be delivered the gift within the following ten days, even after which I haven't received the gift from HP.
I request the concerned authorities to look into the matter and sort it out as soon as possible.

A similar problem persists even after so many complaints against the company.
I don't even believe whether adequate steps are taken to teach the company a lesson!

First case ID – [protected]: Material sent to M/s Xcort Micro Systems vide Job Card No : 2968 on 22/10/2008 in the name of Mr Liyakat Qureshi. Given back to us on 14/11/08, saying that the problem is solved, but however the problem was unsolved.

Second case id – [protected]: Again sent to M/s Xcort Micro systems vide Job card No : 3366 on : 17/11/2008 in the name of Liyakat Qureshi, they have informed that they will demand part from HP which will take 10-15 days

With reference to the above all the case nos., kindly note that my laptop is under repair for such a long time (more than 1 & half month). I am submitted this laptop before also & was given back & still it was not working & I re submitted the same at your service centre & than they informed me that the part received was faulty. First of all can’t you or your person check the part & than give us the delivery. It had been long time that my laptop is not repaired & matter is lingering for long time, due to this my business is suffering a lot. If you cannot repair my laptop than give me the brand new piece. This is not for the first time I am facing problem with HP or Xcort, I had faced the same problem for the item around one year back also & that also took around 2 months to get solved. Now the same problem with the part & with service is not acceptable.

This is type of service from a multinational company is highly not acceptable.

Here is what my initial problem was:

My name is Janice D'souza. I am an entrepreneur and own a Pavilion dv2601tx notebook. My HDD crashed and I gave it to the HP authorized service center at Dadar (SIMTECH) for replacement on 29th October. It is under warranty. I backed up the content myself, since HP does not offer support in that area anyway. This is the second time the HDD has crashed in one year. The last time this happened just a month after purchase and was under case no. [protected]. Along with this complain there was another problem that has started occuring just a few days prior to the HDD crash, i.e. the display screen would not come ON many times when starting or restarting the computer after windows came on. The computer could work and the screen would even show the DOS screen but once windows came on it would be just blank and sometimes would start working after sometime and at other times need to be restarted after emergency shut down. The engineer checked the laptop and called me confirming delivery of the laptop on 3rd November however since the recovery DVD that came with my purchase was a Hindi one, he said I would have to order the DVD from the HP helpline and once couriered to me only then would he be able to install the original drivers, OS, etc.; until then I could take back my laptop and work on temporary software. Since my business requires my to be able to work on my laptop and since there was no other choice I had to agree. I ordered the DVD and it was registered under the same case no. [protected]. I also asked that the order be sent to my office address so that it is ensured to be collected. After collecting the laptop, I realised that the screen problem had not been fixed. I called the engineer who then said he will take care of it when i resubmit once the recovery DVD is received. Again, I was furious since it meant that I would now have to leave my laptop again for a couple of days. How can HP be so inefficient? But that's not it.. While I place the order for the recovery DVD on the 1st of November, it has still not been shipped to me and when i called the helpline to inquire they gave me the consignment no.[protected]overnight couriers). On calling overnight I learned that that consignment number does not contain any order sent to me. It was for a lady in Delhi, while I am based in Mumbai! So, now I am 15 days away from my warranty expiring and HP has not only ruined my peace but not even solved my problem!! This is the worst service and attention such a big brand can give its customers. I will take this up in consumer court if I have to, but this time I am not going to be quiet about how irresponsible and uncustomer friendly HP is as a company.

Following this, HP support contacted me. However, they are so bad with service that my problem is still unresolved and their promises are all fake. Kindly read the email thread below to understand details of the case (Post the below email exchange, I had a telephonic conversation with the HP support personnel, Shweta, who was most unreasonable in either helping or emphathizing with the situation. After having goofed up with the courier AGAIN, when i requested that a service engineer be sent to collect my notebook and fix all the issues and drop it back since I did not have the time to waste any more business days on solving this issue than I already had, I was flatly refused and the reason sited was that no service is available out of warranty. But my warranty period has not even expired yet and besides, I logged my complaint over a month ago and the issue are still not resolved. How can you throw the warranty time stamp at me??):

'This PC is not supported by the System Recovery Discs. You will not be able to continue to recover this system with these discs.'

Please see the screen shots attached. This is absolutely ridiculous!! Can't your company get anything right?? I have just 7 days left for my warranty to expire and this is a problem I submitted a month ago! It's just a money making racket to ensure customers purchase extended warranty.

Also, please note that my notebook came with 'Windows Vista Home Premium' and NOT Home basis. It was a licenced version and I expect to get the same back. Also note that I have only received the OS recovery DVD and NOT the drivers DVD.

Thank you for following up and for the update. The following is the issue I am facing and was facing since at least a week prior to the HDD crash and before submitting my notebook to SIMTECH with the complaint (I would like to repeat that this problem does not happen all the time. It is only seen sometimes and hence a little difficult to diagnose. I had explained it exactly as below to the engineer who prepared my job sheet at SIMTECH on Oct. 29 however, inspite of explaining this and his confirming that he understood this matter was overlooked.):

1. When the laptop is put into hibernate or sleep while it is ON, on wake up or power ON the laptop comes ON but the screen stays off. Most often I need to perform an emergency shutdown and restart and keep my fingers crossed that it comes on this time; at other times the screen automatically comes to life after a while of constantly pressing keys on the keypad.
2. At times (this is less frequent), the same problem occurs at Startup. What is funny is that during Startup, before Windows loads, the screen works, since I can see the DOS screen, but once Windows starts loading the screen goes dead (but you can HEAR windows come on)

HP India — Non receipt of gifts even after eight weeks

I purchased a compaq presario laptop on 20th sep 2008 and sent the necessary documents alongwith a demand draft of Rs.999 to HP redemption cell, First Floor, A-2, Okhla Industrial Area, Phase 1, New Delhi to avail free gifts under HP/Compaq presario notebook student offer. Redemption code no. JGE2SJEEPO was alloted to me and confirmed by E mail . It was assured that after receiving the required documents gifts will be sent within six weeks.

hello! my name is vipul s. bambhaniya. i have purched a hp notebook v3225au.which serial no. is 2CE7220S9B. i am suffering because of it's bad service. i have register a complain case in support center, which case id is [protected]. when i purchesed it it had work nicely till 6-7 monthes, then it has got a problem that"POWER ON BUT NO DISPLAY" i have changed system bord three time, last time it has worked for only 4 days, though they have changed four part system board, hard disk, battery, lcd. what is the reason?????????????? if that noke book has got problem 4 times in a year what is it's future. now i have inwarded it into service center in ahemdabad, , , , but i will not outward it. i am applying for change it...i dont want V3225au or any AMD procesor borad. if i can't get any support about it i will have to get support from indian consumer court.so, please contact me [protected]. or as in reported in my case id. for more detail refer case id [protected].
I ve bought a notebook PC from HP a month before and it was installed with windows vista homepremium 32 - bit by default. It is ok. . . .and good. . . .but eventhough I have the basic requirements I am not able to install CATIA V5R18 in this OS. . . . .Then I ve planned to install the same CATIA using XP pro as platform which is recommended to do so. . . . .Here I have the problem that
1) No other OS set up CD was provided by HP
2) No driver back up CD was provided

HP had announced that on purchase of HP Pavillion Notebooks, customers can get a Philips 5.1 Home Theatre System by paying 1499/- extra.

We have done this and despite lapse of 3 months, we have not received our gift and now the said Telephone No[protected] is not responding since 10 days.

It seems to be a fraud promotion by HP and the culprits should be brought to book and penalised and punished, as also we should be compensated for the excessive harassment, wastage of time and inconvenience plus the unnumerable STD calls made from Pune for follow up in 3 months.

i have just received a printer, copier cum scanner but have not received ups offered by them,

I bought an Hp laptop CND94842T8 in Srinagar on[protected] and was told by the seller that there is an offer of a Videocon LCD TV .After buying the laptop I wrote to HP about it and was told to send the documents along with the Draft for Rs 9000.i registered on HP site and got the redemption code S9S22NEKGG and after that I sent all the documents like invoice, bar coded serial along with the Draft on 6-1-2010 which was received on 8-1-2010 by HP.After that when I wrote to Hp about it I was told that they have received the documents and payment has been realised and the LCD TV is approved and same will be sent in 8 weeks time.some time back I also got an sms that delivery of TVs has started and I will soon receive it but despite a lapse of almost 3 months it has not been sent. Now the latest I have received is a shocking email from HP that the LCD TV cannot be sent to Srinagar and I should provide a Jammu address. Since Jammu is 300 kms from here and I have no address there I requested them to either send me my Rs 9000 back or if the problem is with my address in Srinagar (since not all couriers are willing to come to our area as it is 12 kms away from centre of Srinagar city) I provided them an alternate address which is in the heart of Srinagar and where every courier service is available.Now neither are they sending me the TV nor is my payment being refunded.kindly help.

I bought an HP laptop CND9393KPD in Shaktinagar, Sonebhadra on 31.12.2009 and paid additional amount of Rs 9000/- vide DD 335785 Dated 07.01.2010. I received a redeeption code AZCCAU7IIW.

After 5 months I received a Mail from HP Redemption cell from Miss Pallavi Sharma that TV is about to despatch. But till date I did not receive any TV. Many a times I called them over Phone and they have a simple answer that TV is no more in stock and then they cut the phone.

      Dear Sir,

      I purchased this laptop on[protected] from a HP dealer in Nehru Place. It comes with a Windows Vista Home edition. I need to install windows Xp on this to get certain application running (Also Windows vista Home is a very bulky and featureless operating system).

      So i installed Win-XP on my laptop and later tried install the device drivers as well, but to my surprise device drivers provided with the system were only meant to run with Windows vista only. When i contacted HP support to provide me some help in this regard, they straightaway said that they do not provide any help for the device drivers for this product and told me that i should search on the net to collect the different drivers for each device and also they do not even provided the technical specifications of the product on their website any where in the world.

      I am really feeling cheated now and feel like i have made a bad mistake. I think i should have tried products from some other vendor instead of this. I don't know whether I can get justice against such a Big, Influential company.

      However I still like to have hope that someone may help me out.

      Please help me.

      Even I Also tried the same when I purchased Compaq Presario V6608AU, But My friend assured me that I can get drivers on Internet for Vidio,Audio, Lan drivers, but I didn't tried.

      If the drivers dont work then contact the online technical chat person . he will give you the drivers. Even I hv the same Laptop but iam still having windows vista...if all this doesnt work...then i hope u hv created a recovery disc...use it to get ur laptop to brand new condition again.
      I strongly agree with the above complaint.
      I have also bee a victim of COMPAQ. I purchased Compaq V6608AU laptop just today which has come with pre installed Windows Vista Home Basic. Vista is one of the worst operating systems I have ever seen.
      I formated the machine and installed Windows XP, Then i was shocked to realise that Drivers for this pirticular model laptop for XP are not provided by Compaq. I tried very hard but failed to get the drivers.
      I believe that Compaq has cheated. because Compaq has not given this information anywhere.
      I blindly trusted Compaq, and have been cheated. I strongly believe that this is a very cheap trick to promote Vist which is mearly useless.

      It came with vista and i dont feel good with that os.
      So I tried to install windows Xp.
      But there is some probleb with the installation.
      While trying I go up to formating and copying files...
      afther that it showing like there is no hdd in my laptop.
      I think I need to install the devise driver fot Hardisk while installing XP(32).

      Pls anybody can help me.....

I bought a the Laptop Presario V6608AU from them. they installed the OEM version of Windows Vista Basic and I have paid for the hardware adn the Vista software to them. So I called them up and told them, " Listen Buddy I luv your hardware but I hate the junk softwares that you have installed on it. So kindly send me an OEM version of Vista Basic DVD to which I am entitled so that I can reinstall Vista on the Laptop without all the junk that came with the computer, since this junk is occupying my hard disk space of 160 GB I have paid for 160 gb of hard disk space and I am entitled to use it the way I want it to. I don't want your recovery partition and I don't want your softwares. " So the gentleman from HP says Sir that is not possible as we cannot ship you a Vista DVD. Si I talked to my lawyer and now he is getting papers ready to sue HP Compaq as well as Microsoft as they are not providing me with the media for the OS.       hello friends, i also had the same problem with compaq 6608AU but fortunately with help from hp online technitions and a friend of mine i was able to install windows xp in my laptop. The thing is that there might be problems installling the audio driver which can be solved by the method the technition says. but the chipset drivers and graphics card driver and the network drivers which the first technition gave didnt work for me. i kept on contacting the chat service till i got the right drivers. try that. for the chipset driver download from the site itself . i am using the chipset driver for nvidia nforce 560 in my laptop and its working. i havent tried the nforce 630(which is the correct device in 6608au) .since that driver is working already i decided to keep the experimentation with 630 drivers little later. for the graphics card driver use the link they give .if it dont work keep asking. or send me mail . if i am free i can send the links. rahul

      I strongly agree with the above complaint.
      I have also bee a victim of COMPAQ. I purchased Compaq V6608AU laptop which has come with pre installed Windows Vista Home Basic. Vista is one of the worst operating systems I have ever seen.
      I formated the machine and installed Windows XP, Then i was shocked to realise that Drivers for this pirticular model laptop for XP are not provided by Compaq. I tried very hard but failed to get the drivers.
      I believe that Compaq has cheated. because Compaq has not given this information anywhere.
      I blindly trusted Compaq, and have been cheated. I strongly believe that this is a very cheap trick to promote Vist which is mearly useless

      Hi All, I bought V6608 on 23 march 2007 with vista home edition loaded. Within warranty period there was problem with mother board and processor. Which company replaced. And within 14 months the screen went off. Which i replac by paing 7000 rs. Now after 16 months i am facing hard disk issue. Please buy any compaq laptops any more as per my suggestion...

      This laptop is ultra slow, it hangs, freezes, it takes more than 3-5 minutes even to load basic application. we have not been using this laptop much in the last 2 years but now when we use, it takes a toll using it.
      Basic application takes long long time to open, switching applications takes long long time.

        Dear Sir,
        This laptop was was purchased on[protected] from a HP dealer. In this laptop the sound output is not good. While listening to music, whenever there is a Bass beat, rest of the volume goes very low & then suddenly shouts out & again goes real low as if someone is increasing & decreasing, increasing & decreasing the volume quickly. If the bass if more, it should distort but it cannot wipe out other sounds. Even a 30 Rupee radio sold on the streets doesn't behave like this. And this is a Rs. 38,555/- Laptop.

        I took it to the HP service center in Bangalore & the engineer understood the problem, but his Technical Manager refused to regard any issues with sound of a laptop saying that a laptop is not built for listening to music, if you want to listen to music - go buy a music system.

        Its like when a person who bought a new car with a highly wobbling & unstable seat takes it to the company & the guy in the company says - If you were are so interested in sitting why did you buy a car - you should have bought a sofa. Instead of rectifying the issue.

        I really feel cheated & the company has made a big joke at my loss. I don't know whether I can get justice against such a Big, Influential company.

        However I still like to have hope that someone may help me out.

          Dear Sir,

          With reference to the above, I have to URENTLY invite your kind attention to the following:
          1.I purchased a printer on 04.10.2007 from Singh Computers, 1st Floor, J K Complex, Opp: Petrol Pump, Gorakhpur, Jabalpur (M.P.) .
          2.Having used it, it was noticed that there was a defect in the Printer & Head - Black, (Product NO.c8194a, Model NO. Office jet Pro 5300 . I immediately brought such defects to the kind notice of M/s Singh Computers , Jabalpur. They were fully satisfied with the genuineness of my complaint.
          3. Later on M/s Singh Computers sent the Printer & Head (Black) to M/s Microland Computers, D-6,Chandrika Vihar Aptt, Home Science College Road, Napier Town, Jabalpur on 06.10.2007 for the correction of the defect.
          4. I have been informed from M/s Singh Computer that printer has been received duly rectified but the Head is not received from Friend Computers, Plot NO.212, Hari Govind Complex, Zo Complaint regarding printer referred to Microland Computers, Jabalpur on 28th JULY,2007 Nagar, Bhopal, as M/s Friends Computer say that the Head is not is not in stock.
          5. I am sorry to point out that a period of month is going to elapse but the complaint of Head is still inactioned and serious attention is being paid to my genuine complaint. Such attitude is quite shocking.
          6. I am to further point out that without the printer-Head, the printer can not function and the work of my office is unnecessarily withheld and suspended.

          PRAYER

          It is respectfully prayed that the Printer-Head may please be replaced immediately so that I may make use of it for the office-purpose for which I purchased. Otherwise I shall have no use in purchasing the Printer. It is further respectfully submitted that if no proper attention is paid to my bonafide complaint as a Customer, then under the circumstances, I shall be constrained to review the matter legally and holding all the concerned accountable and responsible for all the cost and consequences as may arise theirfrom.

          I have purchased one Laptop from HP Partner and they have given me one useless backpack with that laptop. when I asked them to change that back and I will pay the rest of the amount by cash. They asked me not to call again. Even the HP Sales Manager are replying in very rude manner. The HP's Service is the worst ever I have seen.
          Home Science college Jabalpur were announce that online admission form will submitted before 24 June 2012, but today(20 june 2012) hearing news that college were filling offline admission form have Last day. college has not announce any news innwes paper or college notice board, most of the student have not submitted his form. college has not declared final year BSC-ca result.
          kindly share your purchase proof, we can help you to resolve the issue on high priority basis.

            the hp integreated solution department must be shiverly pennalised so that they learn a lesson about commitment in business. i siddharth das is a victim of there harashment. i got a compaq laptop in the month of aprill 2007 my model no is v3239tu n i had also send a draft to de concern department head miss. Aishwariya.j. and i is now going to be november and stil there is no respond. hav been sending mails and there is no reply. it seems as if they are least bothered. therefore i and my dad mukti das have togather decided to put this matter in front of the jurdiciary. i sincerly feel that my matter and complains have resulted me nothing and there has not been anysort of action or step taken forward to fullfill there commitments. there fore i request all the customers of the hp stand togather and get our rights.

              I'm a customer from turkey i have a DV 5196EA Pavilion Notebook (Model;Serial No: EW776EA; CND6181B1N). Because of a battery problem (after charging the battery for full it was ended in 30 minutes).I contact the HP Turkey Ankara Service. Because of the warranty they took it and say that they will change the battery. This was on the 4 th october. Since then i have heard nothing about my computer. During my many calls to the call center i hear just that my computer fixing is going on. Today it past 19 days, i'm a medical doctor and a researcher in a university here in Ankara/Turkey. My notebook is a big part of my work and life, during this time i had 2 important meetings for which i borrowed a notebook from my friend. When i bought this notebook it was one of the costly (i paid like 2350 $ 15 months ago)and i had a trust the biggest brand over the world. but today i will never ever recommend to anyone for buying a HP brand device. Your service here in turkey is sully your brand. How is it possible just for changing a battery using so many time today it had past 19 days but i didn't know when i could take my notebook back. How is it possible to put a customer in a such hard position, i paid money for using this notebook not to put it in the service. Please don't misunderstand me i was very pleased with my notebook not a hardware or a software problem have i see since i bought it. just this unlucky battery problem. i will my notebook fixed and back. please, i hope that your could help me.

                p/n GU323AA#ACJ.But probadly after 1 day i,e at 17th OCT.My Laptop adapter did not work properly,then i conveyed the message to the sales person who has intracted with me when i purchased the laptop.then the person told me to go the service centre of HP at "Digital care"IEI building panbazar, Guwahati-01,but the person at the service centre told me that it will take more than 5 days to replace it.Then told the person to give me an alternate Adapter for the time for certain days.Same i have told to the sales person of DATAMATION , but he replied to me that , he can`t resolve my problem & he cannot provide me with a alternate Adapter for the time being.I need the adapter since i am having a very heavy schedule with my office & i need to use it up over there.So its quite a bad experience from py part to have with DATAMATION SERVICES & HP

                i purchased a hp laptop of model HP630(C-i5) s/n-5CB1313FD 6, from SUN N SHINE, 11 BRAHMO SAMAJ COMPLEX, S.S ROAD, LAKHTOKIA, GUWAHATI -1.ASSAM, at the time of purchasing they offered me to give the necessary drivers required for my laptop, but they dint stick to their words as promised. the shop dint provide me my laptop drivers of graphics and bluetooth. Many a times i visited them, but they dint respond any. now it feels having a incomplete pc, n i cant properly do my works. i expect that required action will be taken against them.

                  I had purchased a laptop in cash with Rs 57500. model no. NX6110 from Shree infotech solution bareilly U.P. on 25th of nov. 2006 with bill no. 6056. The serial no. is Cnu61128bk. With lincensee windows XP2 with Norton antyvirus. Within 10 days there were many problems came in that laptop like th e CD rom was not working properly, booting and shutdown were very slow, the system was getting shutdown with 65% of battery charged, no good colour resolution. I think that on being asked for a laptop with latest configuration, the dealer provided me old one.
                  After giving problems at first I thinked that no problem can come in HP’s product like this. So I tried to repair laptop with backup CD but the problems is remaining same. Then after some time I talked to the dealer and gave him the laptop on 15th of dec 06. after three days he told me that the laptop has been forwarded to HP service center at dehli. After one week he gave me the receipt of laptop given by dehli service center there was case id of my laptop [protected] after seeing this I knew that so many replacement were needed in my laptop as cd rom,ac adopter, wireless lan, hardisk, memory card pack then I talked to madam meena tutu and mr. Arun that I don’t want to take this laftop after so many replacement who shows that their were measureless manufacturing defect in this laptop. Then they told me that she replaced all parts shown as case ID so if any problem will come in this laptop In future then they will replace this one.
                  After some time the a.c. adapter which replaced by service center again showed problems then I gave it to dealer he replaced me after 25 days. After this I gave my laptop to my daughter Neha Agrawal. who is a senior software engineer in MNC noida & waiting for U.K. trip.
                  After two months the laptop again showed problems in starting and shutdown and other since may 2007 and my daughter enble to do any work with this laptop. Regarding to this problems she went to HP dealer in noida and after three days dealer told her that he thinks the problem is in mother board so I can’t repair it and he said the laptop can be repair only in service center dehli. Then my daughter call me and told all the story about laptop. So I call again Madam Meena tutu on 12 J uly 2007 and told her about this problems and remiended her about the commitment given by her and Mr. Arun at the time of first repairing that they wiil replaced my laptop if problems will come again in this laptop. Then she told me the Engineer wil l come to your daughter and check the laptop and after his report she will tell what can be don.
                  But no Engineer came upto 30 days, and Madam Meena tutu were giving me date after date . One day she said me the laptop sold by company in the month of march 2006 so there is no gurantee is blanced on this I told her that I purchased this laptop on 25th of Nov. 2006 and I have receipt. Then she told me to sent the receipt of laptop to her by fax. After seeing receipt again she told me that there is no stamp of dealer on receipt then I told to madam that about this you can ask to your dealer. Like this she was passing more and more time to pass out gurantee period. Other wise I would’t Understand that why Madan Meena Tutu expended so long time.
                  In this period I got the name and teliphon no. of Mr.Jitender Mohan Nagar then talk to him about all these problems then he gave me the ph,No,of Mr Anshuman kuda and told me that about this I must call to Mr. Anshuman Kuda.
                  On 10th of aug. I and my daughter call to Mr. Kuda then he said that engineer came to your daughter within two or three days and he will came on[protected] and replaced Mother Bord but problem still remain there, so he came again on[protected] and replaced HDD again. After this My daughter tried to load windows and other software by backup CD given by dealer , but CD did’t work properly so my daughter call to Mr Anshuman Kuda and told him about this problem then Mr kuda said that he will surch this old CD in office if got it then he will call her. But still now no phone came from Mr.Kuda and laptop is not working condition till now.
                  So in these condition I can not take more risk with this laptop because in I0 months after purchasing this laptop more then 5 months was in service and repair time to time and now this is use less due to software loading problem. I think these are not normal repair but these are biger manufacturing defects in this laptop so I want my mony 57500/- back and I did’t take this defacted laptop in any cost. Otherwise you must replase my this laptop to any other laptop with latest confegration with new gaurntee within 7 days, as per Madam Meena tutu’s and Mr. Arun’s commitment with me and save Company’s reputation. Otherwise I will go to midia and Consumer Court against Dealer and company , because I have no more time in gurntee piriod .

                    I buyied Hp Laptop and Printer this year in Feb with which i got the deal of redemption TV Tuner Card with Laptop and Black and Color Cartiadges with Printer. I done all the proccessing required fot it and send the Demand Draft with the redemption of Laptop as i was asked for Rs.300/- and papers for printer redemption of Black and Color Cartidges.
                    After one month when i tried to enquire about my gift, i came to know that the Demand Draft i have send is of wrong name and asked to send New with the right name and on asking me for the Wrong Named Demand Draft, i was told that it will be returned with the gift, i said ok and send that asked draft again.
                    I got my gift of Tv Tuner Card but no draft with that, also my Cartidges has not come.
                    But after 2 months i got Cartidges and after the delivery of Cartidges i got a call from HP Redemption Cell that i was send wrong Cartidges and HP will change those cartidges with a day if i agreed to return the first sended cartidges in the seal manner, i agreed n ask them to do so, they ask Blue Dart Courier Service Person to collect that Cartidges from me and now till Today i am waiting for my Cartidges and Wrongly Named Demand Draft after many complaints and Phone Calls i didn't know when will it going to solve.

                      Since i purchased 64 pit laptop with windows vista ultimate 64 edition os,i enquired in both hp customer care as well as soultions integrated marketing services about the compatibility of tv tuner card i am going to get from them.

                      I was assured by both the parties that i will be getting a TV tuner card that will be compatible to my purchased item from HP.I was also assured that i should be getting my tv tuner card in 6-8 weeks from the time of registration.

                      Today after 4 months wait i got the tv tuner card from hp redemption cell new delhi,

                      but it is of no use for me

                      the tv tuner card i got today is of hauppauge wintv usb2 model which is incompatible with vista ultimate 64 bit or media center edition pc.

                      What is the point in sending something which i will never be able to use with laptop?

                      and why to give false promises like i will be getting WinTV HVR 900 series(which is the only comapatible card for my laptop)this was told by mr abhijith from solutions integrated services marketing limited newdelhi(looks after hp redemption)3 weeks back through telequery to me.

                      i really feel pity for HP brand,the people looks after hp here in india doing great job in destroying it faster.

                      By the way i want to return this incompatible tv tuner card back to HP could some one tell me what the procedure ?

                      I had already send DD of 1000/- Rs. . But has got no acknowledgment about it. from HP People.This is really disgusting. I think HP shud close their so called deppartmen "Customer Care" if they cant take care of their customers.
                      I bought a laptop of model v3424AU with windows vista. and i had an offer that i will be getting a headset and a web-camera as free.
                      I applied for headset and web-camera redemption offer on 26th of October 2007 with all the necessary documents plus 350 rs/- demand draft in favour of solutions integrated marketing services limited newdelhi reached on November 2 or 3rd of 2007.

But call up the HP helpline[protected] and they will tell you that the HP Mini 1000 is NOT part of the promotion - it is not eligible for any free gift. (This misinformation is actually the fault of Croma and Solutions Integrated, not HP).

                      2. In addition, HP Customer Support at[protected] also tells me that the promotion as advertised on HP India's own website is INCORRECT. The digital camera is only available on certain Compaq Presario models. If you buy an HP Pavilion laptop you are entitled only to a Philips Home Theatre system. This contradicts the website which clearly allows you to select either the Kodak Digital Camera or the Philips Home Theatre System if you buy an HP Pavilion laptop.

                      My prediction: Solutions Integrated will only ship the Philips Home Theatre system for all HP laptops, if they ever do send something out. Please don't waste your Rs.1299 for redeeming the Kodak C913 digital camera - you will never get it. If you want to buy the HP Pavilion buy it for what it's worth - don't buy it for the free gift that you will never get.

                      Shame on HP India for making such a mess of the promotion. Consumer action needs to be taken against such misinformation and false promotions.

                          After I received the above codes, I have sent all the documents (Original Sticker containing the bar code and serial no., Photo copy of Invoice) along with a demand draft for Rs. 300.00 as per their demand. But now they are again asking me to send the Original Sticker containing the bar code and serial no. When I have already sent the original, then how I will have another one? Even I have not received the Free Insurance Document for my Laptop.

                                    Below is the Email which I have emailed to HP.. but have not got any response there even...

                                    Dear HP,

                                    I am Nikhil Jain, I am having an HP Pavillion DV-6114-TX LapTop and now I have just got fed up with all what is happening with my lap top.

                                    First of all let me tell you that I had bought it on 31st of November, 2006 . The first problem in my laptop had already occurred just 2 months later of the purchase of my laptop.. then I just took it to the service center and they corrected the problem for me... After that also some one to 1.5 months later some other problem came to the lap top.. in which they had to run the recovery partition of the laptop.. so much difficulties had come in it.. and after that also in every course of 1 or 2 months i was expecting some or other problem in my laptop..

                                    And this time, I just got fed up with what has happened to my lap top.. its lying in the service center since 29th of August, 2007 and since then I have not had my laptop with me... its with service center only.... I dont understand what they are doing with my laptop..

                                    The date today is 8th October, 2007 and it has been around 1 month, 10 days.. that the problems of my lap top have not yet rectified....

                                    I have given the lap top to a service center named : MM9 Technologies which is situated in Gurgaon (Haryana, 122001)

                                    and at first they were not even telling me my case id to me.. after so many request and quarrels, I got my case id which is : [protected].

                                    Please HP tell me what should I do... does it take so long to repair a lap top... .. Everyday MM9 tells me a new problem in my lap top.. someday they say.. that they are changing its motherboard, someday its power cord, someday its quick launch keys strip, someday they say that they need to format it.. and now they are saying that their is a problem in the touch pad of the lap top.....

                                    If so many problems are coming in my laptop why dont you just replace my laptop and give me a new piece..????

                                    And what is the guarantee that even if my lap top gets well this time... it wont face any problems in future... I am seeing so many problems in a lap top the first time...even my cousins have a lap top of HP.. and they are working just fine.. .and mine was experiencing problems since 2 months of my purchase only.. I am just fed up now...

                                    I have not seen my lap since 1 month, 10 days..and my business has just gone into hell now....and I doubt that I will be coming to footpath in a week or so..if this thing continues.

                                    As per my experience, what I think is.. all the mistake is of MM9 Technologies.. they are very careless at work...they are not doing anything with my laptop.. I have now talked to each and every person at MM9..and every one has the same behavior at work..such service centers should not exist...

                                    Also, let me tell you that.. once they had handed over the lap top to me... in between this repair process.. and let me tell you about that experience of mine:

                                    When I had given the lap top to the service center it was experience just 10 problems (I WOULD EVEN SAY 10 PROBLEMS AS JUST )..and when I got my lap top it was having 30 problems..now you can imagine how careless are MM9 at work... when I when for receiving my lap top there.. what I saw was.. my keyboard was already replaced with some other persons lap top.. whose 4-5 keys were not even working.. but as I knew my keyboard..i just told they.. and they very easily said that by mistake it must have happened... are they so careless at work/??

                                    when I got my lap top.. it was experiencing a heating problem.. it got heated up..just after working 20-25 minutes on it.. and also got very slow while working.. and when I kept it in front of A/C.. it got okay.. so like this it used to happen...then I called up MM9 to say.. that you had already changed my keyboard with somebody.. and I suspect that my fan also you have removed from the lap top..and they said that if the fan was not there.. the lap top wont even work..............and afterwards.. this only problem came ..that the fan of the laptop was not working...

                                    NOw you only tell me what to do.. I suspect that even the guarantee period of my lap top will finish.. and then also I wont get my lap top back with me.... 1 MONTH, 10 DAYS IS SO LONG.. I THOUGH I WILL GET MY LAP TOP IN 3-4 DAYS MAX.. .BUT NOW I AM JUST FED UP... I REQUEST YOU TO PROVIDE ME WITH A BRAND NEW LAP TOP.. AS THIS LAP TOP IS ALREADY EXPERIENCING SO MANY PROBLEMS (AS MM9 SAYS.. I DON'T KNOW EVEN IF THEY ARE WORKING ON MY LAP TOP OR NOT)....WHAT IS THE GUARANTEE THAT IT WON'T EXPERIENCE ANY DIFFICULTIES IN FUTURE.. I WANT A PERMANENT SOLUTION..i have already suffered huge business loss..and I don't want to suffer from any in future.

                                    Please reply to my email as soon as possible.. i am experiencing lot of problems.. I have suffered a loss of 10 lacks in my business till now..... now you just tell me if you would be providing me a new lap top.. otherwise I will have to purchase a new lap top then of some other company .. I will think that my 60,000 Rs. which I invested in this lap top just got waste..and nothing else...

                                    Also I am very soon going to register a case against MM9 Technologies.. and HP in the Consumer Court of Gurgaon....that they are not repairing my lap and doing nothing for me..everyday...they give me a new date that my lap top will get fine....but nothing happens.

                                    I deeply empathise with you, Sir.

                                    I have had an equally bad experience with the product.I had bought 2601TX.
                                    (priced Rs.49,990) in Vashi. New Bombay.

                                    I was a bit lucky that i detected the problem early(the very same day). My problems were similar to yours

                                    I got a letter from the serivice centre to take a replacement after much harassment. (which is another big story) But even after so many days neither the dealer nor the company HP is helping with the replacement. Its only in paper. I havent got the physical posession of it as yet. The dealer and every1 else are telling me to wait of another 15days or even more.

                                    i have had the same sort of problem i had brought a dv2500 laptop back in feb this year the graphics card was faulty id had got 8 little small screen shots on the one big screen an the motherboard was over heating too... they had told me what the problem was when I had called tech support: basically I needed a new motherboard!! so they asked me for proof of purchase when I had e-mailed it over to them I had called them back as you do just to make sure they had received the e-mail they told me I have to wait for a call from HP.. " so they never called me back" !! Waited 2 days!! Expressed to them my younger brother need to used Laptop for school. Needed for it to be fixed a.s.a.p... they just kept fobbing me off saying that they have not received my proof of purchase so I had sent it a 2nd time.mt hotmail account shows that it was sent an I had checked with them that they have given me the correct e-mail address.. so they still tell me they have not received it.. i had played $1400 for the laptop when it was just released then they talked me into having 2 years extended warranty... $169... I’m covered up until 2011!!! HP is a waste of time. They have caused me nothing but inconvenience... so far no laptop fixed I have made about 15 phone calls to them... i am going to get in touch with trading standards U.K .. + FSA... they said to me that I will get a call tomorrow from the complaints department… I asked the tech support to put me on to his Manger “We don’t have an manger” POOR SERVICE FOR WHAT YOU PAY FOR!!!will let you guys know what the outcome will be.

                                    HP pavilion dv 6114tx — terrible service

                                    I've given my laptop HP Pavilion dv6114tx for service at HP service centre delhi, okhla industrial estate 31st of Oct '08 vide reference no [protected]. It's been over a month now n I am yet to receive it. Each time I call they say it will take a couple of days more. I have been callin every few days for the past two weeks n yet i get the same response. This is not the kind of service expected from a company of HP's repute. This is neglect on the part of the service cemtre and i feel they ought to pay for this. I am looking to claim some kind of possible compensation.
                                    Please suggest what needs to be done as they have caused me much distress and i am not at all satisfied.

                                    I would never suggest anyone to buy and HP laptop, in anay case, it is worst laptop i have ever seen, I have Pavilion DV2700tv and have proble in its Graphics card, by going through many site i found that HP is know to this proble sincs 2007 but HP is still selling the Laptop with NVIDIA chip. Your laptop will work fine for waraanty period (apprx 1 yrs) after that a day you will see that when u boot your laptop it dont have any display. not even BIOS information. or durign working you will see that your secree is divided into many smaller screen and the it goes blank, All this is due to faulty NVIDIA chip which HP is using. evene NVIDIA is also know to this problem, but they dont have solution they sell laptop and forget about coustomer.

                                    After thsi either you have to change the motherboard or you have change the NVIDIA chip in you loacl market, but no gaurantee that you laptop will work for longer time.

                                    So think befor buy HP.
