My notebook Compaq Presario V3000 purchased 1year completed, but now the problem is that it dose not work after remain open 20-30mins, it becomes hot & Hanged up the system. So what to do plz suggest.
some problem are occuring in my pc.During run the cd /dvd in DVD writer and pc hangs and create loud sound from speakers and DVD drive.And moniter used to fluchuated and mouse and keyboard don't work properly after this PRODUCT IS UNDER WARRENTY,

i hv lost my warrenty card. so how can i get the duplicate of that...
I have a compaq SG3153IL pc, S/N-INA73706CV, PROD# GS176AA#ACJ .
The dvd writer has stopped reading dvds however is working well with cds... The system responds slowly whenever a dvd is inserted..
that dvd works fine in my friend's pc.
So what could be the problem? and what is d solution??

    ICICI credit card reward points has been transfer to I-mint reward point programm which is very costliar in the hands to ICICI Credit card customer. I have redeemed 350 points for getting Rs.100.00 petrol from HP outlets.

    When I visited to petrol pump they denied me for petrol against this voucher.

    I think we have been cheated in this reward programm.
    I to agree with you buddy. I took vouchers for my 2100 I mint points (rs 750), but to my surprise all the HP outlets deny accepting imint voucher.
    Reason: All said that IMint has blocked 1-1.5 lakh per petrol pump and some didn't hear from them at all. I asked them why don't you file police complaint, they said that they started accepting from past 1-2 months and if things don't improve in few days all are contemplating POLICE/Criminal complaint against them.

    So don't worry bro, they screwed their a** themselves. Lets wait and watch the drama.

      univercell / mobile-3230 — no proper response

      Handset replacement problem

      This is to inform you that I had purchased one Nokia model handset- 3230 on 14th dec 2006 from Univercell, T.Nagar,Chennai. The model considered to be a failure model was revealed to me only after i had started having problems in the handset. The handset was given for servicing four times but was returned back to me in the same condition.

      Finally, I had my handset given to the Nokia Professional Centre at Anna Salai, Chennai on 15 october 2007. Though I was promised a replacement for the handset, since the handset was under warranty, till date, I was not issued a new handset and the service centre people only keep promising things that the replacement should reach in a week's time.

      I purchased my Compaq Laptop (presario C700) last December. Now a problem has come related to the sound system of my laptiop:

      Problem: When i play some musics or try to watch movies i cannot hear the sound.

      I tried to unstill the sound driver and instill the sound driver back but nothing is working.

      Please advice me how should i get back the sound system back in my computer.

        My printer was not working since 15-09-8 and I registered a complaint at customer care office (toll free no: [protected]) (HP call center) on 16-09-8, registration no is [protected]. The officer told me, your printer’s problem would be resolved within three days. The engineer came from Redington India Ltd, Worli Mumbai, on 19-09-08 and checked the printer and told me that the adapter is not working, He has given me service report in which written as "job is pending", also told me I will come tomorrow (Saturday) and replace the adapter.
        However, the engineer did not come on Saturday, I called to Redington office, and the office was closed on half day, no reply.
        On Monday, again, I called Redington office for replace the adapter but I got rudely response. Same day again I called customer office and told me wait up to Tuesday evening. Still up to Tuesday eve, the adapter not replaced, the problem remains same.
        Again, I called to customer office on Wednesday and requested to solve the problem as soon as possible. I also told to customer officer about my trip to Delhi, I have emergency, and I want to print a lot of paper. I called many times to Redington office Worli but not rectify the problem.
        However, the problem remains same till Friday[protected] eve...
        Second time, again, I registered a complaint at customer care on date 20-10-08, log no: [protected]. The officer told me your printer problem would be resolved within two days, now
        from 20-10-08 to 07-11-08, I did not get any call or service engineer did not come for printer's problem.
        Right now today[protected] status is “PRINTER'S PROBLEM NOT SOLVED”.
        The service engineer of HP has not fulfilled the services against on warranty period.

        Now, I have no faith in HP and service centre.

        THIS IS MY 1.5 MONTH EXPERIENCE WITH HP PRINTER

        HP Deskjet D1560 — It cannot see the printer Black Ink

        Dear Sir,

        I have buy a compaq computer 5 Months ago from Laxmi Nagar, with include of HP Deskjet D1560 Printer. fistly It was working nicely but the last 1 weak when the Black ink has been empty then I have going to the Laxmi Nagar to put it a black ink but after I have come to the my home and attached the black ink box into the Printer, the computer saw to me that Ink level is empty, after next day I have going to the shop for complaint that ink has not been full then shopkeeper see the ink box and said that the ink is full. He told me that the your cartridges has not been working properly so you cant see the ink level in your computer.

        Kindly request you that please help me to solve my problem.

        I purchased the HP printer model : DJ F 735 on 19.02.2009 from CROMA Thakur Mall, Mumbai and havinng the problem of Paper Jam due to roller problem.         HP — problem not solved during the warranty period

        sir i have bought a hp laptop last year.i had few problems with my laptop durind its warrenty period.
        it was related to lcd screen and fan.i submitted it to hp survice centre in gaziabad.they solved the problem of fan bt said tht tht screen problm will be solved whnen i will do formatting.i did the same but it didnt happened.they called me again for the feedback nt i told them that the problm exists...they told me that i can come to their centre with my laptop nd they will fix the problm.ai asked a date they gave me a date of 2nd jan..by that time my warrenty expired.they now say that they will not do it...i am plannind to do in cosumer court if action is not taken immediately.

        எச்-பி பிரிண்டரில் முதல் நாளிலிருந்தே ஏற்பட்டுள்ள பிரச்சனை தொடர்பாக நடந்த சம்பவங்கள் உங்கள் கவனத்திற்குக் கொண்டுவரப்பட்டது.அதற்கான பதில் பார்வை 2-இல் கண்ட இ-மெயிலில் கிடைத்தது. பார்வை 3-இல் காணும் சான்றில் எச்.பி-யின் அங்கீகரிக்கப்பட்ட சர்வீஸ் செண்டரிலிருந்து எனக்கு வழங்கியிருந்த பிரிண்டரை ரீபிளேஸ்மெண்ட் செய்து கொடுக்க பரிந்துரைக்கப்பட்டிருந்தது. அதன்படி பார்வை 5-இல் காணும் ஏற்கெனவே எனக்கு வழங்கப்பட்ட இன்வாய்ஸ் எண் கொண்டும் அதே நாள் (4.7.2012) கொண்டும் புதிய HP Officejet 4500 Printer S/N-CN243G49W/H-இன்படி கடந்த 26-7.2012 அன்று வழங்கப்பட்டது. சர்வீஸ் செண்டர் நபர் முன்னிலையிலேயே சரியாக 7 (ஏழு) பிரிண்டுகள் படங்கள் எடுத்துப்பார்க்கப்பட்டது. அப்போது பிரிண்டர் திருப்திகரமாகவே இருந்தது. ஆனால் நேற்று 28.7.2012 மீண்டும் நான்கு பிரிண்டுகள் எடுத்தபோது முதல் இரண்டு பிரிண்டுகள் சரியான கலர் இல்லாமல் நீல கலர் அதிகமாக கொண்டு வந்தது. அதற்கு அடுத்து ஒரு பிரிண்ட் கொடுத்த போது வெறும் மஞ்சள் கலரில் வெளுத்துக்கொண்டு வந்ததோடு மட்டுமல்லாமல் ஆரம்பத்தில் நான் வாங்கிய பிரிண்டரில் என்ன பிரச்சனை இருந்ததோ அதே பிரச்சனையான படங்களின் குறுக்கே பல கோடுகளுடன் பிரிண்ட் வருகிறது.அதனால் மேலும் பிரிண்ட் எடுக்காமல் நிறுத்திக்கொண்டு இப்புகாரை எழுதுகின்றேன். பிரிண்டுகளின் இரண்டு படங்களை இத்துடன் இணைத்துள்ளேன்.

        திருநெல்வேலி ராஜா கம்ப்யூட்டர் நிறுவனத்திலிருந்து வாங்கியதில் எனக்கு ஏற்பட்ட
        கசப்பான அனுபவத்தையும் அதனை திரும்பப்பெற்றுக் கொண்டு எனக்கு நான் செலுத்திய
        தொகை ரூ-6800/-யும் உரிய நஷ்ட ஈட்டினையும் வழங்குவது தொடர்பாக பார்வை 1 முதல் 5

          This mail is about my Compaq Presario ATU9001. Sr# CND 8073N88.

          I am mailing you because the Hard disk in the system crashed on 4th Nov 2008. I have ran a Self check and the error it showing is
          (Replace harddisk_1 Warranty ID Error Code 10008)

          If you see me case history in the below you will come know that this is fourth time that some wrong has happened to my computer. Its been only 7 month I purchased have the system. Please go through the email below to underhand the complete case history.

          Last time I requested replacement of the complete unit but instead the CD Drive was changed (afte 3 times I went to the Service Station in vein).

          After all these incidents I am certain that you are selling substandard product in the Indian market. The system I have purchased is not worth Rs. 42, 000.

          I am also filing a complaint in the Delhi Consumer Forum of this incident. Please take back the complete unit and return my money. Its a shame that a company like HP is selling substandard products in the market, its certainly a malpractice. I do not want to be your cutomer any more.

          I do not and any repair services or replacement services even if it is provided onsite. I want my money back.

          This is my right as per the Consumer Law in India that I can claim money back.

          This mail is about my Compaq Presario A900. The SR# CND8073N88 and the product # KB162PA#AJC.



          I have also registered my complaint online on hp.com. Complaint # CCHSAP165185



          I have been facing real hardware problem since I bought it, and the notebook is just six month old.



          First, my screen became defective and there was red line in the middle of the screen.



          Second the DVD Reader –Writer was not functioning properly, some times it was not able read and there was some mechanical malfunction in the trey.



          I took my notebook to the Authorized HP Support Center for repair. Job# J9KS210802. The screen was replaced and DVD trey was functioning properly when it was delivered



          But after some time the DVD Reader – Writer stuck. I took it again there and this time they promptly took the matter and on the old job number they repaired the system again (that’s what they told me).



          Now today when used the DVD reader-Writer first time after the repair, its not reading just the orange light and no green light. I have made sure by trying a variety of CDs but its still not working.



          This matter is very unfortunate and has cast a very bad impression. The only reason I bought a Compaq worth Rs. 42, 000 because of after sales service. But I am disgusted.

          HP Laptop A900 — Poor Service

          I made the biggest mistake of my life purchasing an HP Laptop. Just a week after the guarantee period, the webcam stopped working. I was fortunate enough to had the guarentee extended. The laptop came with a new screen, but with a webcam which would show only grains.The service centre located at Rajkot got another screen fixed, this time with a better webcam.Though I was not satisfied, I decided not to complain. Within a week I found that the DVD drive would open by itself ,and, anytime I used a pendrive, the system would hang. It was sent again to the service centre .The laptop was sent back to me repaired (?). I had a meeting that day and the entire presentation had to be postponed due to my simply great laptop which hung when I inserted the pendrive.I had to face the wrath of y seniors, thanks to HP.I sent it back, it came to me promptly after week with a new motherboard. Now as I started working a message appeared that my Windows wasnt genuine.I also noticed that the modem was dead.The laptop is now with the service centre at Rajkot and is with him with last one month.The next week which he promises, never ends. I have decided to buy another laptop from some other companyPLEASE DO NOT BUY AN HP LAPTOP.

              I hv registered complaint no. CA0655754 on 25.9.2008 for my TFT monitor of my HP media center desktop. I hv been receiving repeated replacement dates one after another, but the monitor is yet to be replaced even after 1 month of complaint registration.
              Only reply received from HP service center is that the monitor is not available in stock. A global corporate like HP who talks big about its product & services is actually a very poor company to deal with

              same problem here in bhubaneswar as well...iwas running to get my LCD repalced for 3-4 months. lastly they replaced it with a used LCD which i realised later and now they are not ready to accept taht they have done it. The service centre's name is Maple computers.

              We had purchased & sold 13 D290 deskttop PCs having 3yrs.Onsite warranty on 10.11.2006 . While lodging a hardware complain on10.03.09 we were told by the tollfree agent that the warranty has expired on 10.11.2007. Due to the poor battery backup unit was submitted to HP authorized service centre, (RT Outsourcing Services Ltd.) Rama Road, Kirti Nagar, New Delhi, vide Token no. L-33, case no. KN2092. on 20.02.2010


              I, with great disappointment, am writing this mail to inform that laptop has not been delivered to me even after 20 days. Fail to understand the reason, why HP is not able to give after sales support for a unit which was purchased hardly 3 months back.

              First of all it is very unfortunate that I had to visit HP service center, with in two months of purchase, as the back-up of the unit was only last upto 1 hr. Service center confirm that battery is showing in good condition but at the same time agree that backup is only for 1 hr hardly. Now I am refused to get a battery replacement. I have totally lost faith in HP.

              Can some one help how to proceed further to get the unit repaired back?

              I want to share that HP offers the most pathetic service support any company can ever offer. It is a nightmare to use a HP product. I work for an Automobile co and our co buys loads of products from HP and see the height, to a corporate customer the service offer is pathetic.
              My laptop got crashed on Sunday and i have logged a comlaint on 6th September under the complaint no. [protected]. a gentleman visited my office on 7th and he said some parts needs to be replace and he will send a quotation for the same. After 2 hours his mobile stopped working and inspite of regular calls and reminders i have not been sent a quotation till now ( 8th september).
              Logging a complaint or talking to anyone in HP centre takes min 1/2 hour
              and in 4 days i have not been even issued a quotation, god knows what is the fate of my Laptop.

                I have been not received of HP gift printer & UPS

                I am suuffering from your service. I have a HP Laserjet Printer (Model : LJ 2100M), Serial No. SSGP010924.

                I had given for repairing at your valued service centre. Redington India Limited, Surat, Gujarat, India.
                Work order no. SU/07/700605.

                I had given tham for repair date : 31st May 2007, since that time they are not giving me proper answer for my printer. I have talked to Mr. Chetan (Manager), but now he not coming on phone & not meet me personaly at service center.

                I am very very fade with this thing.

                Please help me to resolve this problem As soon As possible.

                I have a HP OFFICEJET PRO K5400 printer and it is only 25 days old.

                There is a defect in the piece and its not printing my pages properly and spoiling the page while printing specially in Photo Papers.

                I have contacted the HP helpline number and there has been no proper response from them as they have been continuosly been putting the blame on the paper.

                I have had this problem from the First day of my purchase .

                  For checking his default I post a letter from Sarkaghat at my address. But still I not get that then I have come to reason, there was somebody who didnot want that I get any type of material of tests and other things.

                  After this, i went to the post-office of gopalpur and ask from the head-mistress but inspite of acting on my compaint she told me to shut my mouth and asking me to do any action or coplaint anywhere, there would be not any type of action against them and they told me that all of them are not my survent.She told me that I will never get any type of post in future. She asked me to change my address to get my mails and if i didnot do this, they will not give me any post in future.

                  So, sir if this is the behavior of your employees then where such people like me live in this state. I will have to change my address but why. For getting my post i have to go anywhere else exept Sarkaghat. tell me where i go.

                  So, plz sir take some action against them, as if i have to join any job the selection letters will not reach to me and my life will be spoiled due to this persons.if there was no action against them then i have to go for the court to getting my rights.

                    I had purchased a HP Pavilion notebook (model no. DV2762TX) on 19st june and according to offer I was supposed to register online and submit some documents & DD OF Rs.500/- favoring to HP give to redemption cell Nehru Place New Delhi to claim for a free gift i.e TV TUNER CARD & WI MUSIC according to the offer.

                    But I haven't received the gift yet as it has been more than 5 months now (it was promised to be delivered within 6 weeks). HP cheating customers.

                      sir i purchased the laptop hp pavilion dv2700 (vista) at srinagar 4 months before but its speed is very very slow and it takes too much time to start.when i open any application it takes too much time to open and becomes inactive.sometimes it becomes inactive for long time and i shut down it improperly at that time.sir nobody is interested to work on my laptop due to is speed.it takes 5-7 minutes to open cd and so on.it also does not support gmail service. its processing is very very slow.please suggest me what can i do.

                        Purchased lap top DV2902 TU on 30 th July 2008.sent invoice, product bar code label etc.. with Draft for Rs 500 (No 528219 dated 16-08-08 SBT PALAKKAD, KERALA.) ON 18-08-08 By Regd post.No reply of wi-Music set or draft. waited all this time thinking of freight delays, but no responds till today. Please see that there is some answer for our valuable time and money.

                          Dear Sir/Madam,

                          I'm one o[censored]r frustrated customer from product & ur after sale services.
                          I bought a laptop Model V6608AU, Serial no. CNF7386CYX &
                          Product (1P) GX867PA.

                          From day I purchased it, I'm facing a lots of problem it.
                          like:-
                          1.Hang, some application not working properly & Slow Processing.
                          2.Battery Backup & Battery discharge it switch off condition.
                          3.Bluetooth not working.
                          4.Hinge making scratch on lower panel of screen.

                          I have submitted my notebook to your service center at
                          A-200, Okhla -1.New Delhi.Against call reference no. [protected]. for above mentioned problem on26/06/08.

                          At the time of submit one o[censored]r executive suggested me go for Hard drive segmentation to avoid data loss in future.
                          I asked to do the same.because if it need to submit again my data will safe & there will no need to take backup.

                          Received same after repaired after 3days.

                          Again I installed MS office & Antivirus(Purchased).

                          I found that my MMC reader is not working, after some time bluetooth start malfunctioning.

                          Again facing the same problem of hang, Slow processing, speaker sound cracking, in end its stop working, battery discharge
                          in switch off condition.

                          Again I have submitted on 16th Oct'08, again call refernce [protected] at A-200, Okhla -1.New Delhi. with following problem.

                          1.Hang, some application not working properly & Slow Processing.

                          3.Bluetooth not working.

                          On18th Oct'08. i have received a call from service center it need to format ur notebook & ur data may lost it.
                          I told him plz format only C drive only which need to format.

                          Technician working are not competent do this.

                          But again I listen same reply plz take backup of laptop. after that we can proceed.

                          I'm giving u surety that I'll not buy any HP product in future.

                          Please don't give more punishment to being HP customer.

                          Please for this time only fix my laptop problem,
                          I'll porches a hard drive & always save my data in that only, other wise in my next visit my data will be lost.

                          Its four days I'm working without my notebook.

                          You have given me a faulty product, which given me problem again & again.

                          Ur product & services are pathetic.

                          Please try fix my notebook with loosing of my data.
                          Not ells I want from ur side.

                            Hi,

                            From the day 1, I face lot of issues with HP C772TU laptop. I done some mistakes in life and the biggest one is that I purchased the HP laptop.
                            It is now headache for me.

                            From the first day, I face "Blue Screen Dump Error" message in laptop & laptop get restart automatically. HP Engineer told me "this is just because of drivers which are not installed properly". I installed all the drivers again & again but the problem can't solve. Also this is random error, it occurs sometimes. So, I forget this issue. Just after few days of purchasing, my laptop gets automatically shutdown& not powering ON again. I went to HP service center in Okhla Ph- 1 & submit my laptop there. HP Engineer told me: “the motherboard is found dead & we will order the motherboard”. After 4 days, I got call from HP: "Sir, we have replaced the motherboard but the motherboard which we replaced is also got dead after sometime, so we ordering one more motherboard for your laptop". I replied: “Ok, you take your time but I want this issue to be resolved”. After 4 days, I got call from HP:”Motherboard has replaced. Now you can collect you laptop”. I went & collect my laptop. At time I also took my charger (adaptor) to HP service center & ask the HP engineer: “why it happens, will you please check this adaptor? Is something wrong with adaptor? HP engineer denied.

                            After 1 day as I got my laptop from HP service center, I find my battery is not charging. I again make a trip to HP service center with my laptop & charger. Laptop is submitted again for motherboard replacement. I concerned the HP engineer for charger (adaptor), he replied: “It is also not charging with another
                            Charger, your laptop charger is OK”. Motherboard is replaced after a week. I went to collect the laptop. I checked the laptop in the service center with my charger &
                            Found battery is not charging. Then HP engineer told me that "there is something wrong with your charger because as you connect your charger with laptop, motherboard get faulty, now we have to replace this motherboard again”. I went there to collect my laptop but come back without laptop & submitted even charger with that.

                            After 8 days, I went to collect my laptop with charger. Now this time my mentality towards HP is very bad but when I saw my packed laptop, I feel I am purchasing a new laptop. I bring my laptop to home & use it & after few days I found one new problem which is “As I press the power button in my laptop to turn it ON, the light glow on power button & power LED is also get ON in laptop body. But there is blank screen-no boot up window, no logo, no cursor blinking, nothing, only power LED glowing. Then I have to keep press the power button to shut down the laptop & then restart again. Next time, it starts successfully. However, this is a random problem means it occurs sometimes. Also, when I used to do multiple tasks, laptop gave “Blue screen dump error” & laptop reboot automatically. Now my laptop is with HP once again. After getting no response from HP after 8 days, when I call them they telling that have ordered the motherboard for that laptop not powering ON sometimes” and for Blue screen dump error, they told me that they found 2 third party RAM in laptop, & it is not supported this laptop & it is giving blue screen dump error. They got 1 RAM on ordered basis & waiting for another RAM.

                            Now they have one more reason to hide their mistake to solve above mentioned problem.

                            It is still in warranty because I purchased this just 4 months back. There is more than 8 trips to HP service center & more than 4 times motherboard replacement. Now its enough.

                            Also services of HP are also very poor.

                            Please help me to troubleshoot this problem & also my headache.

                            i have a compaq laptop.its speaker stopped working and i showes them to A HP SERVICE center kanpur(rt outsourcing). my say complaint is being due from 31-10-08.They are saying that speaker are not available in whole country.how can hp do that they cant replace 2 speakers within 10 days...
                            my laptop also shows blue screen error and restart automatically mainly when i try to do hybernation!!! waht should i do???????????? plz help

                              I understand the trauma that you are going through, i would suggest before getting more panicky..do the following

                              Refer the printer manual..and try to solve the problem, if thats doesnt help..
                              Contact the dealer you purchsed the printer from, if thats doesnt help..
                              Call toll free number of Hp support [protected] from BSNL Phone, if thats doesnt help..

                              mail your concern at www.hp.com/support/india, if thats doesnt help..


                              and while you communicate with them, make sure that you act like a gentleman, you do not have to threaten anyone..

                              Going to the court should always be the last resort..

                                I[censored] can't do anything then give me answer in one word because I have to switch over to new laptop of different company(except HP (Harming and Paining)).

                                    I TOTALLY AGREE, AND TELL EVERY ONE THAT INTELNET VASHI SCTOR - 17 IS A FRAUD, AND GIVES SMUGGLED LAPTOPS, BEWARE, I HAVE GOT PROOF AGAINST HIM .
                                    i hav also bought a laptop from intelnet vashi. he is really a fraud selling smugled laptop. i hav bought dell studio 15 nd it has been smugled from U.S i just came to knw after some problem arose in my laptop.
                                    INTELNET Infotech is also a THIEF, I given them GATEWAY MX3414 laptop for repair & they TAKEN AWAY PARTS from it now he (AMIT) is not answering Phone & keep cutting my calls. I also sent him emails, Im making Police complaint of it.
                                    NEVER BUY or give them repairs, they are thief.
                                    Completly Agree with every one... he is thief (Chor), paisa lutane wala, he just take advance from the people and do not give delivery on time. he also provide smuggeled, PC's.

                                    Amit, who is selling PC's in Intelenet infotech, vashi which is located in Shiv centre, Vashi., is biggest froud and never purchase any thing or even book any PC or Laptop from him, other vice you will be mentally harshed by these people, they never keep on there words, they change there comittment after evry one hour, and these, people never give your money back, which you paid as a advace.

                                    this guy (Amit) is the cheat and fake laptop provider which are registered in USA already and sells in India by smuggling. it dont carry any india warranty even if you call the dell showroom.plzz dont buy it from this shop. they use dell banners for their advertisement. they cheat customer by telling themselves as authorized dell dealer. you wont get any warranty from dell if you buy from him. he even replaces parts if you give them for repair. the dell showroom dont take any responsibily for this.

                                    lets join our hands and protest outside his shop with banners so as to make aware about this anti social elements in our society.

                                    lets see who are involved in this racket. i heard even local dell dealers are involved and police don't take action against such racket.

                                        Sir,
                                        We due respect I would like to inform you that there is one servicing centre name Computech System and Service owned by Mr Sumit Modi(Contact No.[protected]).In last January 2008 I have reaplaced my mother board.They took me Rs 13, 000.00 and Rs 1000.00 for fitting of total Rs 14, 000.00.But later I came to know that actual price is Rs 9, 500.00.So, I feel they cheating with me.
                                        So, I kindly request you to take necessary action for that servicing centre.

                                        HP Service — Bad Servicing

                                        Geeting into the servicing with one problem coming back with another and getting no servicing or literraly cold shoulder during warranty period. Also very bad customer care service . They take no time to woo customers for service care packs, for which we do not receive any form of documentation for what part it is valid or invalid, only when you go for servicing one answer pops up " Sorry this is supposed to be payable ."

                                        HP-COMPAQ/LAPTOP — MY LAPTOP IS VERY SLOW

                                        sir, i have a compaq laptop powered by intel dual core processor, with 512MB RAM, n windows vista as os, the problem is its very very slow...suggest me in all the ways by which i can make it fast...also kindly suggest me whether i have to 'pay' to upgrade my RAM to 1GB in any HP-COMPAQ SERVICE CENTER n if i hav to pay how much bugs shud i mend for it...

                                        type "services.msc "in run cmd, now disable the programs that u dont need as these programs make cpu uasage a lot!upgrading ram can speed the pc a lot.disk clean up & defragmentation is important factor for speed up!

                                        I hav HP dv9000 series laptop, as i had some problem with it with the hinges of the screen, i had given it to the service centre, they just hav told tat it has to be replaced, but its almost 2months passed my laptop is handedover to service center ppl, dey r not yet able to get d screen replaced...and they r not even giving information properly...
                                        it is very bad, india shud boycott HP products,
                                        is there not something we can do about this ??

                                        Compaq — bad service

                                        i have purchased a compaq cq50-100em model laptop from abroad with international warranty. i have submitted it for service after it had crashed its motherboard. I had to wait for many months to get it replaced with a new motherboard and that after fighting it out with the service centre people. Now after almost 3 months it had the same problem. What shall i do now.? Ima na MBA student and i am awaiting my placements and need to submit my project report shortly. Iam frustrated by the service that they offered me and swear that will never purchase a compaq or HP laptop in my life nor would recommend to anybody.Thanx Hp for whatever you have done to me.

                                        HP Compaq Laptop — Stiffed on a warranty

                                        I called HP service center, and they re-directed me to another number, both indian might i add. The first one was helpful, the second..HA! I got this labtop last year for christmas....so i haven't even had it a year, but someone had bought it before me, and returned it to walmart! The year warranty still ran on! almost 6 months of warranty i wasn't allowed to have..So i called them, and the man said that the warranty had expired, and that it was out of his hands. I asked him to transfer me to the manager, and first he said they didn't have one. Then i said you have to have someone over you, i'm sure you're not your own boss. Then apparently they magically had a manager, but he couldn't transfer me because it was an ivalid escalation, and he just couldn't do it! So i asked if i could be transfered to anybody else besides him, and he still wouldn't do it!! I got cheated out of a computer, that was a lot of money, and they won't do a damn thing for me!!!!
                                        sir i want i to complain that i give my laptop to service center bcoz my in built speaker was stop working they take near about 10 to 15 days and after they said we cant repair it because you use vlc player .and i think is invalid point and they not even give me suitable answer to my query pls take some action about it.
