HSBC Credit Card — Late fees & Annual Fees

With the intension of clearing the balance on the account, I had taken a loan and cleared a balance before the due date in the month of April 09. After speaking to a representative from HSBC, I confirmed a check was sent out for Rs.2500/- a week before the due date towards min payment and then requested a balance as on that date...I went up to the bank and paid Rs 39255/- on 13th April 09 ( Deal No-1818).HSBC confirmed this will bring the balance to 0. After this we did not receive any correspondence from the bank until the new statement with late fees & F/c came in with a balance of Rs 3,102.64/- in the month of July 09. I tried to speak to Revathy and Uday from HSBC on the 30th of July explaining that we never got any statements showing a balance or fees over the last 90 days and we were in the impression of account being closed as per our request. They instead of resolving the issue hung up on my face and since then the account is turned over to an agency with no fault from my end...Now the bank expects me to pay on the card which is nothing but just fees. I had requested a delivery report on the statements that were sent to my address and I did not get any help even there...Now I am getting frequent calls from the agency to make that payment of Rs 5719.36/-

HSBC Credit Card — Enforcement of payment for the two credit cards which do not belong to me

Dear Sir/Madam,

I had one credit card of HSBC which I closed after the final payment in the month of Aug 2008.Now the collection department of HSBC is harrasing me by making calls through their lawyer and other employees,whom I do not know,that I have an outstanding payment for two of the credit cards.On my request they sent me an excel sheet stating the two credit card numbers and the purchases made through them in mumbai and the outstanding amount.It is very surprising that I have never availed these cards till date or never used them anytime but still they are insisting to make the payment or else they will prceed legally.
I aksed them for the original statements of the payments and all the details realted to the two cards which thye have mentione d but they are not sending it.
Presently Iam preganant and this a very preciuos pregnancy for me as previous to this I have alraedy lost one pregancny of mine.I have requested the HSBC people not to trouble me and clear this matter smoothly and ta the earliuest as they keep on calling me almost every day.

Please advice me on this and help me for this.

Credit Card — applied 4 month back

i have applied for credit card but i did not any reply my reference no [protected]tk i therefore reqest you sir kindly expidite and needful
I am a HSBC gold credit card user.I got it since they claimed its life time free card. I used the card only once in my life time. In the month of April, 2008 i used the card for Rs.2100. And within a month, i paid the full amount. I never used the card after that. But for the past 1.5 years, i am keep on getting alerts in my mobile like I need to pay Rs.8, 236. There is no proper response from customer care or collection department.if i call sustomer care, they are asking me to contact Collection depts. No one is attending the calls.By chance if they attend also, there is no proper response. Only thing they say is I need to pay the outstanding amount. And to my surprise, they closed my account too frw months back, for which i have not requested.Please help me out in this.

HSBC Credit Card — Harassment by reminder calls

HSBC probably has decided to make all credit card holders in India give up the cards. Especially the ones who has been paying regularly for years. They have been calling on my mobile to remind me of the payment that is falling due. I have requested them a dozen times not to disturb me since I haven't missed a payment in years and that they are welcome to call me if there is an issue. And in case they genuinely want to remind me, send me an non intrusive sms.

Other banks like Citibank and Stanchart do that.

Here they harass you. Yesterday (Sunday 13th Dec 2009) I got nearly 10 calls! And one first thing in the morning on Monday. I asked them why they are harassing me. She wasn't interested in listening. Last week when they were told that I was out of town, the girl says 'you are lying'.!!! I can understand if I am a defaulter.

Terrible. From today their calls will be rejected by my mobile phone. If that doesn't work, I will change my number. And I will shift the balance to another card and close this card. ****HSBC.

HSBC Credit Card — Charge Finance charges through payment made in time

Hi,
I have paid with Banker's cheque payment for HSBC credit card before 2 days of my payment date.
They should process this same day instead tthey have processed late and it is not my fault.
They have charged with Finance charges. Will you please ask they to stop such malpractice?
This is second time they are doing this. Please help me to sort out this issue.

This is regarding HSBC bank for Credit card complaints.
I had HSBC credit card for my personal use for more than 2 years and used to make the payment on monthly basis.
In July i had a talk with HSBC as well as TATA AIG to cancel my policy and as per their instruction, i sent an sms also to cancel the same.
Still In July'07 statement, there was 9 times debit (INR 701/-) from TATA AIG insurance in my account as a result my overall balance went to INR12069.87/-. I called HSBC custmer care, complained about this mistake, i asked them to revert back. I told him you revert back the amount, so that i will clear my balance. I tried my level best to close this issue by calling HSBC Customer care and HSBC collection center. There are making me in loop. So finally HSBC customer care told me to go to Mylapore HSBC office, I went there, no use, they asked me to go to HSBC Office near Gemini fly over.Subsequently i had given written complaints also to resolve the issue. Till now i spent so much time, calling them, but response. HSBC alwys say you will get a call within 4days to resolve the issue. I have not received any call from them till today. Now also i am ready to make the payment whatever i used. Otherwise i am not ready to pay, their late payment charge, finance charge, and extra debit in my a/c. So please help to me to get out of this credit card issue.

Iam using your card last 3 years my card no [protected] this month 3rd December my card has misplaced immediatley i call to customer care please cancell my card and not reissued the Newcard and more ever your taking annual charges. extra i pay 1500Rs .Card applying time your executive says their is no annual charges but this month bill added the annual charges so kindley close me my account immediatley.this month 7th December i payed total out standing amount that is 17122.00 Rs by cheque drop please send me your acknowledgement regarding cancelation of my account

HSBC Credit Card — unexplained excess amount charged

I have been operating credit of various provides for the past 15 years and very selective in their usage knowing well the bankers attitude and services such being the case I awailed a balance transfer facility from HSBC bank ontheir approach. and since then I have been prompt in my payment to them and I was shocked to note that for the past 3 months they have been consequetively charging me an unexplained chareges amounting to nearly Rs .1000/- monthly on my bills. my frequent approach to reach them on the customer care was hopeless and even if i could establish a contact I was not attended properly and was turned down on various counts on reasons best known to them.

Having received no response I have now been forced to stop all my future payments hence forth for the clarification required from them- If they take the appropriate action I intened to continue or else stop the transaction for mistake on their part.

Sir i request u pl z to close my a/c of credit a/c.

HSBC — unnecessary charges

These bank charge unnecessary charges on the cr card statement

HSBC Credit Card_platinum — Not getting Bills

I have been issued a Credit Card from HSBC after much persuasion from the Bank's Executive/s.
The first month, I received the Bill for my dues very promptly.
I have been waiting for the next Bill, but to my dismay, I have not even received an InstaAlert(sms) for my dues for the usage.
I am sure, the Bank would levy surcharges for delayed payments and keep on building upon the same as interests.
Request your immediate intervention in the matter please.
