This is with reference to the HSBC credit card number:[protected]. My name is Vivekanand R. I had entered into an agreement with HSBC due to some circumstances to go for a settlement against the outstanding amount on the card. The settlement letter from HSBC stated that on clearing the settlement amount I would receive a letter from them that my card and the outstanding amount will be closed. Its been 2 years now and I am yet to see any such statement. Worse even when I contact them I am asked by the collection team to contact the customer service and the customer service team asks me to contact the collections team. While both of them clearly state that the outstanding shows as nill on their statement they also say that they cant give the statement. I would want to know if I am entitled for the promised statement showing my balance is nill. And to worsen things I am told that to get the statement I would have clear the difference amount with interest of 3 % pm which I find ridiculous. The letter from HSBC shows nowhere that I would be black listed, for if I knew I would have somehow cleared the remaining amount as well. I would appreciate your intervention in this and help me get out of this unpleasent situation.

Am also in the same situation, and trying to settle the matter. Please suggest the rate of interest charged on the actual expenses i made. In my case I wanted to pay the bill but there were Rs.3000/- extra charged which when i spoke with customer care, they did not respond properly 4 years back, now HSBC recovery agent from bangalore is harassing me and demanding for 4 times more the money spent. I was always willing to pay back but had moved from the city and now they are calling me again and again trying to take out as much as they can bargain. I wish to know if I can settle the matter by paying off the same amount I spent or need to pay with some fixed rate of interest. Please help.

I am Rohit Gupta. I received HSBC credit card in October 2007. My usage of 41500 approx in December 2007 was converted in to EMI's for 6 months. The EMi was build was of Rs 7717* 6 = 46302. HSBC executive communicated that 1st EMI will be billed in the month of January 2008 and for december 2007, I just need to pay the minimum amount i.e. Rs 1600 and thats what I did. In january 2008, when i received my statement, In the statement double EMI (one for december and 2nd for January2008) was charged to me. I gave a complaint to HSBC for the same.My complaint no. is [protected]. Due to which febraury month EMI was cancelled out and i was asked to the continue the EMIs from march 2008. In March statement, I was surprised when I saw that Rs 3300 has been charged to my account. When I asked customer care executive, they says that it has been credit to my account. But I just wanted to know that it was not a saving account or some debt account where money has come to my pockets and now they are asking me to pay. Till date, I have already paid 38900 ( approx) and remaining amount left in my account as per my understanding is Rs 7300. But with bank, it is reflecting that it is Rs 10600. I have been asking for the clarrification on the same since March-2008 but there is no response from the bank. Ms Tanya (Mumbai branch customer care HSBC) was the senior executive who promised me in the month of march that the issue will be resolved soon but its been 5 months and there is no reply from her. When i use to call on customer care deptt Mumbai and give a request to speak to Ms. TANYA then she is not at all bothered and doesn't use to take the call when it is forwarded. Last month when I gave a complaint against Ms Tanya then she called me up but again there was no clarrification for the same and promised me to call in 2 days of time in last week of June.

Now when I am calling none of the senior executive is ready to take the call as all the history is mentioned in the complaint number and after seeing the history, none of the senior executive is ready to discuss the issue with me. I have already spent more than Rs 2000 on phone calls to sort out the issue but there is worst response from the bank executives. I am frustrated with the services of the bank and already given the request for the cancellation of the card but they are not ready to cancel the card and telling me to make the payments. I am ready to make the payments which is pending in my account.i.e Rs 7300. But giving that Rs 3300 is just ridiculous for me as bank has just made it a business to earn the money like this. It really hurts me a lot. They have wasted my time and are not giving me any response.. Also I would like to give a complaint Ms TANYA (a senior executive of HSBC) who promised me to sort out the issue but now she dont have time to take the call. I am really frustrated with the Bank and dont know what to do as I dont want to be the defaulter but bank has not left any other way.

Please help me to sort out the issue with the bank so that i can come out of this problem.

This is my sincere request to all of you not to take credit card from HSBC. If already you have taken then please mind your bills and statements...

On March 4, 2009 I received a call from HSBC in reference to settleing my account. For two days I have been trying to get them to send me a intent letter to settle by mail or fax and I have yet to receive it. On March 5, I called HSBC and was transferred to 3 different numbers to speak with a representative about the situation, and have not gotten the right infor on settleing my account. How do I get these people to honestly work with me on settleing my account? I agreed to pay a settle for 39% of my balance. I want to pay them, but am afraid I will continueously be billed for the entire balance or they will sell it to another party and I will be in the same shape of oweing some other company because HSCB did not honor their word of giveing me a clear settlement and removing my name from three credit reporting bureaus. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME MAKE THE RIGHT DECISION BUY MARCH 10, 2009.
This is to inform you that the said hsbc credit card( [protected] )has not been issued to me or nor has been used by me, but still i am getting the monthly statement of the said card since last one year. Matter has been discussed so many times with your customer care service department and they had blocked my card and had assured me that charges will be waived off, but no action has been taken so far.

Its once again requested that the charges against this card must be immediately reversed and a confirmation to this effect must be sent to me as soon as possible.

    For last three week ,I have been waiting for my internet banking password.I contacted to respective bank ICICI and hsbc .They told that we delivered bit it returned due to unreachable address.But quetion is how I got their card .Here I contacted with courier person.but there most numbers are not working.They told that address was not approachable but my mob. no . is written on courier but they have not called me a single time.Courier company name is-Blue Dart and Exprex IT.Once ICICI bank person told me that courier has been dispatched and this person has received your courier but in actual no one received courier.

    Could you suggest me right way to lodge complain against these service provider and problem that I faced for past 3 weeks.

    I have applied for Icici credit card, a guy from bank took all the required documents from me but i did not get any confirmation call from bank, when i spoke to customer care department I got to know that my card application has been declined.
    I applied again for the card but same thing happend .
    So I am very disappointed with Icici services.

      i have using credit card of hsbc for the last 3 month. i want to use balance transfer facility and im requesting again&again but nobody willing to reply me . im very hesitate from hsbc service. they dont know about the meaning of customer care deptt.thay jsut transfering my call from one deptt to anoter deptt. they are sitting over there to give false and wrong commitment nothing else.

        I have been using credit card for over 13 years. off late I observe that these so called professional banker recruit people who are a bunch of confused nerves.
        They have sent me letters for non payment when I have not being using hsbc credit card for over a year and half and have credit balance.
        When I called the customer service they informed me that there is no due than why trouble and toucher people.
        The bankers need to check on the document before sending it to the customers.
        The customer service executive has mail to me in Aug 2007 that they will sending me the statement in 3-4 working days. Today after six months I receive another treathing letter not the crdit card statement.

          I am not a customer of your company, nor I wish to be, I never had any credit card of your bank.I am working as visiting consultant in a hospital in Delhi (Delhi Heart and Lung Institute), there was another person working in that hospital in marketing department who had name similar to that of mine. He may have your credit card and used it. I do not know how my mobile number was put in your records against his name. That person has left the job and for the money he has spent on your card I am receving calls on my mobile.The languge used is not good and despite telling the truth, the person on the phone is very rude (Mobile number of calling person [protected], last call on 29th jan 2008 at 8.03pm). I had brought this to the notice your credit card customer care divison in Delhi about 6 months back and was assured that It will not happen again,but now again for last few days it has started.Kindly sort it out as early as possible as it is disturbing me a lot, otherwise I may have to take legal action

          HSBC Credit Card — compelling to pay though not used

          I write to bring to your notice that I had applied for HSBC Credit card (**** 3349) but till date I have not received the card. After a period of time they (HSBC) invalidated the card with out informing to me. After a lapse of 11 months I am being compelled by HSBC to pay a sum of Rs7477/- for the reasons best known to them.

          Sir I had not received nor used the card at all. Several follow ups and communications with HSBC officials proved futile.

          I request the incharge consumer forum authorities to prevail up on the dealing higher officials of HSBC and clear the entries in the above mentioned credit card.(This is only harassement and mental torture.Please help me out of this unnecessary/unwanted situation.)

          Hi,
          I was having Hsbc credit card and I went for a settlemt with HSBC. They told me to pay the amount before 27th of March 2010 and I made a payment by paying them through DD. I gave the DD to their collection agent. He has given me the receipt and also the letter from bank stating that if you pay the full settlement amount at a shot, We will nullify you account and will send you the statement showing zero balance. I have paid the settlement amount for which I have the receipt and all the supporting documents. I also have the all conversation audio tapes with me. Now when I call HSBC they say that you have to pay a new settlement amount and the earlier letter is not valid and they are harrsing me.
          Please any one let me know what to do in this regards

          HSBC — Getting unnecessary calls

          I am getting the calls from HSBC , where i had no credit card of them , I was using the HSBC card earlier which got expired and i never want to get the same renewed , Now i am getting the calls for this that you have an outstanding payment on credit card which is alredy expired ,

          I had from a very beging dislike about the HSBC as they are only in fraud service and keep on disturbing the customer .

          Please help.

            Dear Sir,

            I am existing customer of HSBC Credit card for last 2 years. My card no is 4476 **** **** 8677. on Nov 22,2007, I received a message from HSBC on my mobile no [protected] "Repay your outstanding of Rs.29900 on card no. 8677 in 3 EMIs at 0% interest. Call [protected] ……"
            According I called on given no on 24 or 25 & spoke to Ms Dipika who in term confirmed the offer & told me that she can convert upto 80% of my limit & hence I should pay Rs.3500/-. Accordingly I paid the amount of Rs.4,000/- hoping the amount will be converted in EMI at 0% interest.
            However when I received the statement in the month of Dec, I was surprised to see that the amount is not converted in EMI bank charged interest against their promise. As I was out of India, I replied by EMAIL to the statement, however the same was bounced as invalid email. Copy of the same is attached herewith. When I came back in India, I was continuously following the matter with bank helpline but they have always asked me 3-4 days time to resolve issue. Meanwhile I paid the amount as per original term of 1/3 of O/s hoping that bank will improve & keep its promise & will not fall back on its commitment. I was unable to get any feed back from your esteemed bank.
            Further when I received the statement in Jan, again to my surprise, bank has not reversed the amount, kept on charging interest. When I again called helpline, who usually keeps customer awaiting for more than 25-30 min, on 15th Jan, Mr. Jaydeep spoke very rudely & told that in call back I have denied to accept the offer. When asked to give me their confirmation call they all denied.
            I can't understand the logic, when I called & asked for offer, how can I reject the same? I past I never paid in part. This time also I was ready to pay full amount in the month of Nov also but wanted to test the hospitality of bank, which now I feel I can't think of in future.
            I again offered to pay in full in Dec but because the helpline people was doing verification of complain, I paid according to my promise.
            I hope u can verify the matter in detail & take appropriate action.

              (1) I feel very disappaointed and sorry to inform that service extended BY HSBC to Customers is very very poor and your customer care department is worse. Today i called their customer care - after 3-4 min waiting executive picked - i explained the problem to him and he took 15 min for it - after 15 min he tells he is transfering the line to concerned dept. - for 15 min i was waiting but no one attended the transfer call.
              Is this Customer Care?

              (2) However, i have written for unnecessary charges they have been debiting to me for my Credit Card No [protected]. At the outset, I like to tell that I have already paid the full payment of Rs 8135/- on 14 Nov 07 on Account of Principal Amount due to me on that date. The whole amount shown as due from me as per statement for period 16 dec 07 to 15 jan 08 is on Account o[censored]ndue finance charges and late payment charges, details as under

              Bill period 16 oct - 15 nOv - Total Amount due was Rs 8785.13 which includes

              Bill Period Charges
              16 jun - 14 july 540.08
              15 jul - 14 aug 110.01
              TOTAL Rs 650.09

              Except this Rs 650.09 , I have made the full payment of amount due i e Rs 8135.00.

              Since then i have never used the card and amount due is purely o[censored]ndue charges.

              (3) Moreeover, the above charges levied is again because of their Default. I was being informed by letter and by call l that a cheque of Rs 1000 given by me has been bounced and I need to give a fresh cheque. I request for dishonoured cheque but was denied for sake of company policy. But to my surprise i found that the fresh cheque as well as so called bounced cheque has also ben represented and cleared ( as reflected in st for period 15 apr to 15 may)

              (4) Now, i humbly request them to either reverse all the charges so that I can continue fresh with card, else cancel the card.

              (5) I also like to inform you that till date I has not recieved e-pin no from bank because of which I am not able to use net banking.

              Credit Card — undue finance charges

              please refer our following chart wherein I have deposited my all dues within time frame limit, but I shock to know that an amount of Rs.2053.03 is still due towards finance charges as per july08 statement. Please also refer my previous mails wherein I have complaint for arbitrary finance charges. You are again requested to please reconsider my request otherwise I have only option to write the media & ombudsman also. In view of my regular payment track, I hope you will consider my request sympathetically & favourably.

              Deutsche Bank Credit Card — Late charges levied unnecessarily

              I made a transaction and dropped the cheque for the same in the skypack drop boxes. Even after the due date, the chq was not cleared from my bank account. I called the customer care and they said that they have not received the payment and I have to make the cash payment immediately. That time I am travelling and don't have branch in that area.

              They charged the late fees. I called the customer care and raised a complaint for the reversal of late fees. They told me to make the payment of bill and they will reverse the late fees.

              I dropped one more chq and before it got cleared, they levied late charges again.

              After that I called customer care and raised one more complaint to reverse the charges and gave a complaint numbers 856502, [protected].

              After one week I followed up again and they told that they can't reverse the charges.

              Even today I am getting SMSes that an amount of Rs. 4000+ is due on my credit card.

              All this amount is only late charges. The actual amount I have already paid.
              Considering my payment history, I hope you people will reverse all the charges debited on my account.

              Dear Sir, This is regarding my card .When I was approached for this card I was told that I will have to pay 3000 Rs fee for the first year and thereafter 2000 per year.But the first statement which I got had the amount Rs 3885.98.When I talked to the manager at Gurgaon Ms Priyanka she said that she woud get this corrected.And she sent a person to collect the cheque.I paid Rs.3366.Thinking that every thing will be corrected.But again I get the statement on 8 jan the things remain same.Either the things have not been communicated to the office or you are trying to rope in customers with false promises.Again in the statement which I recieved on 8 jan there is an interest of Rs 101.82 I dont understand for what is this.If you cannot correct these things kindly take your card back and give me back my refund.Thanks

              HSBC Credit Card — Undue Charges

              Dear Sir/Madam

              I was charged with renewal charges to which i decided to discontinue usage of the card. I have other cards which if life time free. So i thought why should i ask HSBC to bend their rules and reverse these charges instead let me discontinue the card. It is not fair to ask HSBC to reverse my card although it was sold to me saying that it is life time free! Little did I know that i would be cheated like this.

              I called up the customer care nos and informed them my thought process... and "asked them how to go ahead?" They added my transaction amount + my last instalment amount and quoted me the figure. I made the payment accordingly. I even called later on to cancel my card.

              The next months statment came to me with renewal changes and addtional late payment charges etc..

              I called the customer care nos...I was told to call the billing department which I did. I clarified the matter and they said yes the charges are only towards renewal charges and said they would do the needful. I thought the matter ended there as i was not getting any statments also thereafter.

              Now I am getting calls every two days from the bank that I need to pay to clear my dues. Sometimes they say that the card is not cancelled and sometimes they say that it is already cancelled.

              Please help me deal with this as i don;t think i should give away my hard earned money to these banks.

                Applied for credit card to months before through ajents. Ajents are now not with HSBC.

                I did not received the credit card, and no status available on the site...
                This happens second time. I think few ajents collects the application & using personal information for other activites.

                This is Gurjeet Saini from chandigarh gold credit card holder of HSBC from last seventh month.I have very bad experience with HSBC customer care ([protected]) and sevice privded by them.
                1. No transation update.
                2. When talk to customer care , no satisfactory answer, just said we are updating now and you'l get informed every transation in future but case remains same.
                3. Finance change without any specific reason if any inquery for customer regarding finance charge then only answer you must have to pay, I ask to talk any senior person then hang me on 30mins waiting and at the end call cut.

                These are some bad experience with HSBC credit customer care. If HSBC can't provide good service then I think there is no use of customer care in HSBC.I think there is no observer on customer care in HSBC.
                i am having bad experiencing with hsbc credit card , as i was called up from mmbai office for the due payment . i was assured that someone will come and collect the money from me .                 i have made the payment of Rs. 18000/- against cheque no. 024677 dated 30.05.2008 of HDFC bank which was cleared from my account on 02.06.2008. the cheque was delivered to your credit card collection centre at kolkata in HSBC, dalhousie square branch on 28.05.2008. the confirmation for the same was given by the branch itself.



                you are requested to send me a zero balance statement according to the terms of the deal mentioned in the settlement letter asap.

                I have a similar problem.

                My father had an HSBC credit card which he last used around 5years back. he had swiped it for about Rs 20000. The bank executives went to his office to collect payments from him month on month. they never gave him a statement but just a reciept of the payment made. my father is soft spoken and didnt want any humiliation so paid it off as the executives seemed to be unapproachable. this way he paid around Rs 80000 towards a much minor amount. He refused to pay them anything without the statement and then we heard nothing from the bank. My father is not well informed about the process of a closure or settlement of card payments.

                Yesterday after 5 years, he gets a legal notice from the bank stating to make a payment of Rs 1lac within a week. now my question is that does any bank have the right to send legal notices without a statement. How can a person make a payment of Rs 1 lac in a week. There were no warning letters, not even a basic statement.

                i had a similar problem with another bank which came to me for immediate payments without prior notice or statements and they waived the entire interest amount for me on the account of non reciept of statements. I need help on this case as well.

I gave a complaint in the month of Febraury itself. Since then I have spoken to each and every level of HSBC executives.i.e senior or junior but they are not giving proper response to me. From Last 6 months, there is such a worst response from HSBC that i have requested for the cancellation of the card but now they are creating problem in cancelling the card. None of their senior executives are ready to take my call. I have few direct calling numbers of Mumbai branch of HSBC but they are not at all taking the call and when by mistake they take the call then they use to keep the call on hold for 30-40 minutes and then disconnec the call. Please never apply credit card from HSBC. This is the worst bank ever I have seen in terms of credit cards. They just put extra amount of interest and that too in terms of thousands as in my case and then never respond.                 Hi, I have made my HSBC Credit Card Payments with late fees. But the HSBC has cancelled my card and now I am not able to redeem my reward points even. So Now when I am calling to Customer Care, they are saying it is already been closed adn cancelled. So you can not redeem it. So any one can help me i this regard..
                I had been issued a HSBC credit card in the year Sept 2005, on a complete free basis ie without Annual charges or any interst charges. The bank sent me a statement in October 2005 debiting my account with interest charges. I called up the customer service dept and informed the matter, they replied to me mentioning that in the next statement that the entry wiil be reversed. Now the bank has debited my account to 11191/- ie debiting every month interest charges and anual charges. And One Important note to mention is that till date I have not used the bank credit card even for a single rupeee.My constant email to the bank has given me this request refrence no given by customer service is[protected].and also mentioning that we have taken this issue on top priorityand will get in touch with u within 3 wrking days. but till date no answer
                From past two month the recovery persons are contacting me on my office phone and harassing me, mentioning that I am blacklisted and my name is in the civil list, compelling me to do the payment for the entire amt, of which i am not eligible and due to this stress my pressure is shooting .                 I am having the HSBC master card for 8 years and have not once made delayed/part payment from my end. A couple of months back I had droppped a check for the entire amunt due 4 days before the last due date, but in the subsequent statement they charged a late fee and a finance charge which amounts to more than 50% interest. Innumearable hours spent on the phone has not yeilded any result and HSBC insists that since 2 days were holidays I should have put the check much earlier. Their representatives just dont allow you to speak and only repeatedly demand payment of the extra charges. I have decided to end my relationship with this bank.where should I complain as Iam determined not to pay up for this MNCs unjust demand and utter lack of sensitivity with dealing with a loyal customer of 8 years.Over the years I have spent much time getting unwarranted and unjustified extra entries removed from their statements.PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM HSBC CREDIT CARDS.                 Mukesh Kumar, hold a HSBC credit card. Before four or five months HSBC customer care executive called me and refer the TATA AIG Gen. Insurance plane, than arrange a call from TATA AIG. He told me that time, sir pls. review this policy for two month. If you are not satisfied, cancel this policy at a time. In review period we have deducted 10/- rupees for each month from your credit card account. After the review period TATA AIG will call you for continue the policy or cancel it. But I didn't get any call form TATA AIG and every month they deducted around 329 + service tax/- rupees from my credit card account. When I contacted with HSBC customer care, they provide me a TATA AIG contact number and told, sir pls. contact on this number, they cancel your policy immediately. But nothing will taken care. From that number I got another toll-free number whic is out of serivce.
                HSBC Gold Card [protected], from past one year after cancelling TATA AIG Insurence which was forceble given by HSBC out standing payment of Rs. 300 have been compound intresed to Rs. 7000/-
                When I called the Coustmer Care they said they will take the request to cancel and revet back the payment.

                Now HSBC is threating me so much that, now I am forced to take the help of Consumer Court with all the evedance.

                HSBC is fraud service. While taking the card they say its life time free, but still they charge.

I reported this to the customer care on the same day and got the card cancelled. But during this conversation, I ALSO MENTIONED THAT I WANT TO CANCEL THIS CARD FOREVER, MEANING, I DO NOT WISH TO GET ANYMORE DUPLICATE CARD. All this happened more than 2 years before. In sometime I shifted to a new job and I also shifted to a new place, meaning both official and residential addresses were changed, also my telephone numbers. I was surprised when I got a message all fo sudden from HSBC saying THERE IS A DUE AMOUNT OF AROUND 1300 RS TO BE PAID. Yesterday I called up customer care and I was shocked to hear that, HSBC HAS SENT ME A DUPLICATE CARD TO MY OLD ADDRESS, AND ITS NOT BEEN RECEIVED, SO THE CARD IS STILL WITH HSBC, BUT I HAVE BEEN CHARGED THE ANNUAL FEES, WHICH WITH INTEREST ADDED TO 1400 RS.

                First mistake of HSBC: Sending a duplicate card without me requesting for one.
                Second: Without even confirming that I am staying in the same place still, the card was sent to my old address.(Thankfully the card is not received by some other person, else he had a chance to use the card however he wants)
                Third: I am not even intimated that I have been sent this card.
                Fourth: Atleast when the card was not received, they should have cancelled the card or invalidated the account.
                Fifh: Though i was informed that there is no annual fees, i have been charged FOR A CARD WHICH IS NOT EVEN WITH ME.

                THIS IS FRAUD.
                I do not know how HSBC is gonna respond to this.
                But there is no logic to charge for a card which is not issued to the person at all.
                BUT I AM NOWAY GONNA PAY THIS AMOUNT TO HSBC.

                I shall wait for a response from HSBC, and I am gonna spread this to all, so that atleast they can be aware of such fraud banks and credit cards.

                I took HSBC Classic Credit card in June and havent use the card till ow andI also few months back Customer support to Close the card. But when I check few days back, on my card it is showing my Bill amount of Rs 4218 and when I call to Customer Care, then they are saying that some insurance is activated on my card. So the money is deducted from my Card. But till now I didnt receive any bill on my name.Also I asked Customer Support about this. They are saying that that the card status is not with them. It is with some other team. They are giving different numbers to call. I tried to all the numbers which they gave. Also I wrote an email, But no ue. Atlast I went to the bank but no one has replied properly.

                With reference to your credit card statement from date 11/4 to 10/5/2009. You have charged Rs.400.00 plus Service Taxes ( Total Rs.468.15 ) against LATE PAYMENT CHARGES even I have paid all due amounts before the credit period.
                I have drop cheque of Rs 601.00 in drop box on date 26/4/2009 by considering bank holidays on 1/5/2009 and cheque details are as below.

                Now days I am not using HSBC Credit Card frequently, Hence you are requested to recover said amount against 154 bonus points and cancel the card immediately.

                Also I want to notice that this time I received statement on date 28/5/2009 and payment due date is 1/6/2009.

                My name is Avinash Padmanabha. The below details is regarding HSBC Credit Card - India, which is a ripp off Financial Institution in India for it's consumers. And I am a victim of this HSBC Credit Card India's humiliation & harassment.

                I have been a HSBC Credit Card customer for more than a year now and have never been a defaulter. I have made sure my payments are well within the due date always. Till date I have not defaulted any of my payments with HSBC Credit Card.

                I have been given a credit limit of RS: 50, 000.00 and me being a consumer, this credit limit is for me to utilise and repay well within the due dates with any interest charges as applicable by the financial instituition. I have made sure my transactions does not go beyond the credit limit as I am aware that the financial instituition has the rights to levy an overlimit fee. And I have made sure none of my transactions has crossed the credit limit. However, if the finance charges are levied for the transactions I have done and because of the interest charges, my outstanding crosses the limit, why am I being harassed. I make sure my payments are made well within the due date.

                On having the statement generated and found that the outstanding crosses the credit limit, even though my actual transactions has not crossed, the FI levies a overlimit fee of RS: 500.00 immediately and sends my contact details to their collections team and they harass me with phone calls like a crazy mad person. They call me on my cell phone & lalndline continuously. I have not missed any calls, I have answered all their calls. They call about 20 times a day and most of them are blank calls. They do not speak and when I hangup, they call back immediately on my landline or on my cell phone. Out of the 20 odd calls they call me, the reps speak to me just once or twice. Rest all or blank calls and they harass me. The reps are very very arrogant and they talk like... very very bad. I had never experienced this kind of harassment with any other FIs as I have accounts with HDFC, ICICI, Deutsche & Barclays. None of these FIs harass me this way. Infact they do not contact me at all. I have never had calls with any of my other FIs. I have been making regular payments with all my FIs without missing the due dates. At certain times my credit limit has crossed with other FIs, but they do not harass me like how HSBC does. Nor they do not charge me an overlimit fee if the interest charges has made the outstanding croos the limit. What is so special about HSBC. Moreover, HSBC credit card's intererst rate are very high at 3.30% per month, which is 39.60% p/a. Along with this they charge 10.30% of service tax for every charges they levy on my account.

                This is a RIPP OFF. HSBC CREDIT CARD INDIA IS A RIPP OFF. HSBC CREDIT CARD INDIA, cons their consumers too much.

                I have used the HSBC Credit Card in 2006 for which I have not received the statement. later there was a call from HSBC for payment of outstanding with Interest + Late fee + ST of Rs. 500. I explain that since I have not received the statement I was not able & I will it immediately only the Actual expense amount & not the Interest & Late fee + ST amount. For this they have agreed & I have paid the amount. But then every month I have received the statement with late fee + Interest + ST for which I spoken to HSBC customer care with out any result. Then every time they use to call me for balance payment & I use to say the same story & this amount was raised to Rs. 6000/- in 2008. So in 2008 when the HSBC person call me I said for settlement which was agreed for Rs. 1000/-. I have paid this money & I have a payment receipt. Now again they are clling stating that the payment of Rs. 1000/- was a part payment & I have to pay the balance payment. They say Since I dont have the sattlement latter then it cannot be treated as sattlement. ow the OS is Rs. 11, 000/-

                Even in my case, this is same situation as you'll people have mentioned here.

                HSBC Credit Card is not worth having as they dont provide service which is required and expected as CC customer

                HSBC will never revise the late payment charges even if you genuine customer, Fault might not be your's.

                Extra security to check details online is a disadvange if you travel a lot. in such case you'll dont know what is total amount to be paid and by which date.

                HSBC will not collect the payment as promised but will lie to collect the fine.

                HSBC is interested only in making money and not to retain genuine customer.

                I recently faced issue where my CC is being cancelled and 640+ fines for not clearing the cheque by bank due to additional signature required. As this was a special case where i was not aware of. but issued another cheque immediately to pay up the payment. But HSBC has put fine in several month which add up to 700+.

                As I was out of country and was not aware of all this situation. Last week i came back and was surprised to see mails. Even after explaining the details to collection department and customer care, they lied to me and was more interested in collecting the 640+ amount. This was full and final amount which i've paid for the sake of getting out of this mess. I've decided not to take this HSBC products in future.

                Even after paying the full and final amount, they after send another bill for Rs. 106. I dont know why should I pay for which service. Do I need to pay even after paying the agreed full and final amount.

                in the month of July 2009, whereas they did not give me CLEARANCE LETTER of credit card and my name is in civil or defaulter due to which I have to face a lot of problem in Bank or

                I have had serious problems with the agents employed for collection. They donot have the sense of dealing with a customer. They use abusive language. Their calls are highly avoidable.
                I had not received this month email statement (November) Please sent urgently
                HSBC Customer Care is the worst customer care I have ever come across. When you want your request to be executed it will take minmum of half an hours to speak to customer care executive, After that you never know wheather your request can be handled. With such a worst server, even they expect to call them for password Reset as well.
                Really this is very bad bank to work with. Dont get any kind of card from this bank.. ultimately you will be in loss.. no benefits... no service... All they know is harassing the customers...

                This is Priyanka from Kolkata.

                My father was a regular user of HSBC credit card. I am sorry to inform that he expired in the month of Febraraury 2010. My problem is that I informed to the HSBC centre at kolkata about this case. The outstanding payemnt of pending bills is legally supposed to be waived off and terminated if the account holder is deceased. Even after giving this information about my father, the bank is sending the credit card statement of some lakhs amount due without any usage of that card.

                I really need an immediate reply with respect to this. This type of irregular communication is very ingenuine for the customers.

                The HSBC customer services and specially the staff reply is very bad and inhumerous .

                Kindly help me to take the necessary steps against this problem.

                HSBC — Charged Interest even I dropped cheque before due date

                My Due date was 5 July but I had dropped the cheque on 3rd July 2010, since 5th July was holiday(Bharat Band) they have not considered my cheque and not processed it and later debited the same account from savings account on 6th July for which they have charged my heavy.
                I called the customer care and they have not helped me!!

                Hi, I am K.K.Mehrotra from lucknow, today I received a sms from VM-HSBC that statement for your creditcard ending 7047 has been generated.Payment due on 25JUN11, Total payment due Rs.2206 Min payment due Rs.110.3, while I have never made any transaction from this card, so I strongly say that the amount should be wave off and I am returning the card to the bank.

                  Dear Sir or Madam,
                  I closed Personal loan account in HSBC on 15-Dec-07 by giving a cheques for the amount Rs.2,89,893(Principal outstanding amount+Interest+3days interest for clear the cheques) as per “Break up Letter” the cheques also cleared. But the amount should have been credited to my Personal Loan Account.
                  I have visited several times to the HSBC bank for NOC, Form35 & other documents, but I have not received any suitable explanation. And also I have sent several Emails to the company on the same. I have raised a compliant (No:[protected] also.

                  However, the account was not closed and the bank debited extra amount Rs.4372.84 from saving account to personal loan account on 23-Jan-2008 without any intimation. I request you interfere in this matter help me get my refund with due interest for the period delayed.

                      As i was facing problem from the next month of my HSBC Credit card received.1st month i received a bill stating that there is some amount which is dedected from my card for MEDICAL INSURANCE.I calledup the customer care and told them to close this insurance.Then there was no communication..I wont be in town, so not able to follow this issue.

                      A collection department executive called me for over due.. He told me to pay 37, 000/-. I told them i cant pay this amount.Because i have not used that card so far. I want to close this issue and finaly i agreed to pay 10, 000/- and they also confirmed that this will be considered as a final settlement and the settlement letter will be sent in 48 hours.Paid on 7-01-09.
                      But still i have not received any letter till now.. let me what should i do..

                      I am having hsbc credit card ( VISA ). I have already registered through online. Afterthat I forgot my password to reenter. Then through "forgotten password" option again I reset my password. But for activating the same request through customer care I am facing some problem.                       I am using HSBC Credit Card ([protected]) from last one year. Even after clearing the entire amount of Rs. 23, 000 also they have charged me interest of Rs.734. I have other bank credit cards also. They wont charge me late payment fee also even if i pay 1 or 2 days late after due date. After clearing the entire amount also why should i pay interest like this. I am not at all satisfied with this credit card. Please cancel my credit card. I dont want to pay unnecessary interest rates like this.

                      Now i recd the statament in December month, which showed annual fee charges of Rs.700/- + Taxes.                       I got my statement for the month of April from HSBC Credit cards. It is shocking to me to note that they have charged me 3000 + Rupees as Card fee, additional card fee and service tax. While marketing the card to me one year back the person said that it is life time free card... But now they have send a statement like this.

                      Oh customers please be aware of this fraudulent happening in India by a foreign bank. Still ICICI, HDFC or any other bank has not done anything to damage their customers.

                      Its little while back, that i lost all my credit cards, I opted for settlement of outstanding with HSBC.
                      I got the settlement letter from them, As per the settlement letter i paid all the instalments.
                      The mode of payment for the last instalment was by a post dated cheque, which was submitted to them 1 month in advance.

                      Looks like they had misplaced the cheque, or donno what had happened, they had not deposited the cheque. And after 2 months, they cameback saying, that as i have not paid the amount on time. The settlement letter and settlement is invalid.

                      Now they post me the bill regularly, and ask me to pay the outstanding.

                      Please help me on this regard. I wish to settle this and not use any Credit card through out my life.

                      As per your sms and your letter Dt.24thdec2009 and statement of account I came to know that, you have annually charges me for my above credit card bearing above said No. I was in state of shock and surprised as I am not using the said card.Your officially head head already informee me that this is a life time free card without any kind of annual charges.So how can you are charging me annualy for free card.if you are going to charge me than kindly cancell the card and with zero balance send me the statement.

                        I had invested my money in the said fund on 26/05/2006.
                        In july - 2006i received the first and last statement showing the units alloted to me.

                        After one year when i applied for redemption i was told that the cheque was reversed on 27/05/2006 itself.

                        then how is it that when i go redemption i dont have my money in the fund?

                        i dont know what to do and where to go for my money that should have doubled by now to Rs. 30000/-. Even the people at HSBC are not ready to give my money back to me. What to do please guide/help me regarding the same.

                          I had registered in Do Not Call service with registration number as '019046' but they keep on harassing on my mobile number.
                          I was given complaint no.[protected] and Case Number as[protected]th September 2007) and was replied by mail that this has been properly taken care of.

                          Second time I filed complaint to them was on 05 December when I was continuously getting calls on which Nandini Gopalakrishnan,Customer Service Officer
                          HSBC India confirmed that they have taken necessary actions and it wont be repeated.

                          Now this is non-stop going on and it seems that HSBC is not following TRAI rules and guidelines and care less for any governmental policies.

                          What can be done for this Organization to make them stop playing with the LAW?

                            i had applied for loan of 80,000 rupees, HSBC bank officials
                            Mr. Srinivas , MG Road office approached me and collected 6 signed cheques and took a signature of affidavit

                            subsequently after 1 month , somebody called me and expressed that loan is not sanctioned , i asked for returning my cheques

                              Sir,

                              I wanted to take the personal loan, the collection from HSBC bank Ms. Nithya and Mr. Bhaskar approched me to take a loan from the HSBC . I told them i need a loan of Rs. 50,000. Which they said they can do that.They took the forum with signature and i told them my salary date is on 7th of every month so please give me the ECS date of 10th of every month. They agreed upon that and the money was processed for 1,90,000 and not for 50,000.But then the EMI started geeting detected on 1st of every month which was against the details which they gave me.Then i approached the Agency but they were not responding.Then i stopped making the dues since they were not responding for my call. They the collection agents Mr.Rangarajan and Mr.siva Kumar approached me saying that the issue will be resolved if i make the payment of two dues which i agreed upon and got the letter signed from Mr.siva kumar who came to collect the payment dues from me.Then every month it continued saying next month it will be done and so on. Now i made close to seven dues believing Mr.dibesh who promised me of changing the ESC date which is not done till now. B'coz of the torture from collection agents i changed the house and my telephone number. But then they called the HR - Sr Manager , which is illegal and they addressed the issue. Then also i made the payment believing Mr. Dibesh.Now Mr.Ravi came to the office saying whn i was not there and he is threating me of saying that he will send the details to the HRD . I m ready to make the dues but i want a justice. They need to change the ECS date. They are torturing me, for the problem created by them and not me. Apart every month i m paying Rs.200 extra for by HDFC bank b'coz of ECS bounce.

                              I think you should lodge a complaint with the nearest police station as well as write a letter to the HR department informing them that as this is a personal issue they should steer clear. The organisation has no say in such matters since they are not a party to your loan and it is unethical for the HR to interfere in any employees personal matters

                                I am Rahul Patel, I have applied for the HSBC credit cards and i have submitted all the documents. After that i havent heard even a single word from the HSBC about the credit card. Today on 30/09/2008 i have got a SMS on my cell phone which state that I have 55.10 Rs unbilled amount. This is really rediculas even then have not provided me a credit card and they are sending me a bill for that.                                 I have got renewed HSBC credit card two months back.
                                By the time I received I have got only one card which was with my name. I have not used HSBC credit card till now.
                                But I am getting calls from HSBC to pay credit card bill. They are saying that some online transactions are being done through the internet using add on card which I have not received yet. How come this possible? Even I never get any information or alert on the transactions happening.
                                From my side I requested Customer Care to block those two cards.

                                  1. card got cancelled without any reason. (got an apology letter for the same in the month of JAN, 2008 after requesting for at least 50 times).
                                  2. By requesting at least 10 times, new card got issued with new No. with annual fee got charged on it.
                                  3. Instead of telling me how much I have to pay, interested in charging finance charges every month. I have to make at least 2 call every week to get it removed extra charges got levy on my card.

                                    few months ago hsbc called me to take a insurance policy of tata aig and said that only 10 rs will be deducted from ur card for two months. and this will be the trial period. after two months we will ask if to continue or not. but they are deducting 850 rs per months and they did not even asked me to continue or not.im not going to pay a single paisa for it.

                                    Forcibly HSBC personal giving me credit card since more than 6 month before. Since then im getting
                                    monthly statements and the balance payment increasing every month even i didt use a single rupee.
                                    For the last month i recieved a statement of Rs. 4841.41/- with the due date of 15-May-2009.
                                    At the time of recieving first statement hsbc charged me rupees 220/- for insurance scheme but i did not

                                      With reference to the call received on 25th June from one of your customer executives of bill-payment division, I am deeply pained to inform you that :-

                                      · A guy namely Saahil called me up and instructed me to pay a due amount of Rs. 465/- approx. the very next day as min. amt. due,
                                      · I told him that I had no information in this regard as I have not received any statement as yet,
                                      · to my utter surprise, he said that as he (Saahil) was telling to pay, so I should pay up immediately and he would send a collection executive the coming day,
                                      · I refused his “order” and asked for a statement in hard copy, also I informed him that I have a practice of paying online,
                                      · sir, you would be surprised to know that Saahil started arguing with me saying like “agar aapke paas paise nahi hote to credit card kyun banwa lete ho..and so on …bla..bla..”
                                      · I hang up the phone and decided to take your attention to this rude behavior of your employee…

                                      Sir, in the light of the above mentioned event, kindly note that I have taken serious note of this ill-mannerism of your “esteemed” organizational environment. First of all, I would remind you that as per basic guidelines issued by RBI, a customer must be given at least 15 days to pay the minimum amount due whatsoever, not the very next day of the information. Your executive Saahil has breached this basic clause of RBI. He needs a refresher training in this regard. I beg to inform you that I use several cards issued by ICICI, HDFC, Barclays, SBI etc and none of them use this wild behavior to make a payment as I am very regular in payment terms. You are supposed to send me a statement first and ask me to pay after giving me at least 15 days. But this basic practice is not exercised by HSBC.

                                      I, therefore, request you to reply me that why should I not cancel your card on this unwarranted call of your Saahil? Also, kindly let me know that what action are you taking against him in this regard as I am deeply pained. I expect a reply from you within 24 hours before that I will initiate my payment process of the said amount through cheque. I am not supposed to receive any type of rude call for payment as per my consumer rights laid down in Consumer protection Act 1986.

                                      With due respect and a deep pain, I wish to inform you that I again got a reminder rude call of some Raj, posed as an employee of your bill recovery cell. He uttered the same version asking me to pay the due. When I asked about Saahil, he surprised me to disclose that Saahil was his nickname, he is Raj indeed. I ask you, sir, what the hell is being played in your payment department? I asked for the statement be sent to my address in hard copy but he again started calling like original Saahil – very rude and coarse language. Anyway, this time I have tried to record his conversation in my phone recorder and wish to take some legal action against this one sided recovery call by this Saahil aka Raj. This is clear cut breach of RBI guidelines.

                                      I am waiting for your reply to the email already sent to you earlier. Before that I am desperate to know why is he insisting to pay the due to his executive only ? why is he changing his name twice in his two calls made? These are beyond my comprehension because only thing I understand is that I am trying to be harassed by your executive against which I will take the requisite initiative if not satisfied with your kind reply.

                                      I, Amit Khanna, HSBC Credit Card Holder ([protected]). Thoroughly disappointed with the way you service your loyal clients. Although I had got 4 other companies credit card with me and I was happy with others credit cards services. In the Month of Oct 07, I had got new HSBC credit card. Keeping in consideration, the reputed value in the market, I started using entire transaction on your credit card.



                                      The entire payment was outstanding for the Month of Nov 07 was Rs. 40640/- and for Dec 07 was appox Rs.6000/-. There were some confusing on billing cycle date and upon having an unsatisfied answer with customer care. I made a cheque for entire amount (Rs.46588/-) on 19th Dec, 07, whatever total outstanding was there on my credit card and made a request to cancel my credit card.



                                      After 19th Dec, I had got 10 calls from Chennai head office, stating that please continue this card and we would reverse all the charges of late payment.



                                      I just got one another statement which states my outstanding is again Rs.2352/- against late charges, which is surprising for me.



                                      Please treat this mail as the serious note for cancellation of my credit card and would be rather happy to have no dealing with this bank in future.

                                      I holding HSBC credit card since 2-3 years and making regular payment for which I am using it.

                                      In April statement they shown extra Rs. 8000 charges and for that I am keeo on requesting and sending lots of letters but till that no proper answer received. So I have stoped using credit card and requst them to block the card.

                                      I am holding HSBC credit card No:[protected] . I am not using this card since more than 20 months and in 2007 . I settled down eveything before I went out of country ..that time it was told to me that you pay the amount due and further no charges will be applied but still HSBC is charging me the interest. I was under impression that things has got settled down as there was no communication to me regarding the same.I came to know when few days back somebody called me from Recovery department. I have called at their call center but was not able to receive proper help from them. They are forcing me to pay bill which I have not used at all .                                       Hi,
                                      Let me explain the whole story. I had requested for a HSBC credit card sometimes in 2006. I received the card in the beginning of 2007. I WAS TOLD THAT THERE WILL BE NO ANNUAL CHARGES FOR THE CARD. But before i could make the first tarnsaction, i lost the card sometimes in May 2007. I reported this to the customer care on the same day and got the card cancelled. But during this conversation, I ALSO MENTIONED THAT I WANT TO CANCEL THIS CARD FOREVER, MEANING, I DO NOT WISH TO GET ANYMORE DUPLICATE CARD. All this happened more than 2 years before. In sometime I shifted to a new job and I also shifted to a new place, meaning both official and residential addresses were changed, also my telephone numbers. I was surprised when I got a message all fo sudden from HSBC saying THERE IS A DUE AMOUNT OF AROUND 1300 RS TO BE PAID. Yesterday I called up customer care and I was shocked to hear that, HSBC HAS SENT ME A DUPLICATE CARD TO MY OLD ADDRESS, AND ITS NOT BEEN RECEIVED, SO THE CARD IS STILL WITH HSBC, BUT I HAVE BEEN CHARGED THE ANNUAL FEES, WHICH WITH INTEREST ADDED TO 1400 RS.

                                      First mistake of HSBC: Sending a duplicate card without me requesting for one.
                                      Second: Without even confirming that I am staying in the same place still, the card was sent to my old address.(Thankfully the card is not received by some other person, else he had a chance to use the card however he wants)
                                      Third: I am not even intimated that I have been sent this card.
                                      Fourth: Atleast when the card was not received, they should have cancelled the card or invalidated the account.
                                      Fifh: Though i was informed that there is no annual fees, i have been charged FOR A CARD WHICH IS NOT EVEN WITH ME.

                                      THIS IS FRAUD.
                                      I do not know how HSBC is gonna respond to this.
                                      But there is no logic to charge for a card which is not issued to the person at all.
                                      BUT I AM ANYWAY NOT GONNA PAY THIS AMOUNT TO HSBC.

                                      I shall wait for a response from HSBC, and I am gonna spread this to all, so that atleast they can be aware of such fraud banks and credit cards.

                                      HSBC Bank — Extra Payments

                                      I have been issued a credit card by HSBC bank on my request & application form in second quarter of year 2006. I was using this card and making regular payment to HSBC Bank. Generally i got payment letters from HSBC Bank monthly. This card got expired in Feb 2008. After that i was not getting any kind of communication from HSBC Bank e.g. mails, letters etc.
                                      It appears that after card expiry they sit silently. Now somehow they awoke after around 8/9 months and sending me letters for remaining payments. These remaining payments are only finance charges and service taxes. For every month they added these payments and now the sum is becoming around 12000.
                                      Can you please help in this, how can i file a complaint against HSBC Bank for these unusual & unfair payments.
                                      They are also saying that we have submitted your credit profile to CIBIL.
                                      They are not doing good and just making the customer faulty for this.

                                      I have been a victim of CIBIL and banker highhandedness but decided not to take this lying down. here is what i did to improve my cibil records. the CIBIL is not a public enterprise yet behaves as one. some one needs to bring them down and file a PIL against them

                                      As a background I had a dispute of a transaction with a bank credit card. this continued for 8 years and they finally closed the account since they were unable to answer my letters (they had not delivered the credit card to me and yet charged me for using it). upon closing the account, they malafiedly updated my cibil records to show this as written off overdue amount.

                                      All my loan and new card applications started to be declined and then I realized what had happened. I could not afford these credit issues so I decided to settle with the credit card bank (despite them having closed the account) and under protest so as to clear my name in CIBIL. I asked them for a settlement proposal. they asked me to pay 30k towards the alleged 1.5 lacs (including interest that had accrued).

                                      1. After I settled my dues with the credit card company, I pursed them for two months both on the phone, email and written letters every few days to update my CIBIL records. They finally stopped answering my calls and still did neither zeroize the account nro udpated CIBIL. infact I restarted receving credit card statements again with interest and service charged accruing once again

                                      2. I lodged an FIR agains the bank and the guy who had proposed the settlement stating cheating fraud etc. and not delivering what they promised in their own proposal despite my depositing the cash.

                                      3. I lodged a complaint with RBI

                                      4. I lodged a complaint with RBI ombudsman - www.bankingombudsman.rbi.org.in and followed up repeatedly for about 2 months . finally this settlement made around nov 08 showed strains and BO rbi invited me for a meeting with the bankers in March 2009 after 3-5 months of this issue.

                                      5. the bankers stated in the meeting that typically they mention Written OFF as the cibil status on all settled accounts, the RBI OB almost slammed the banker and said this was wrong and they need to mention that the account has been settled and also remove my name from all defaulter lists such as MCNF . they are also to provide a zeroized statement withen 1 month of the meeting

                                      beware that the peons at the RBI BO are in deep pockets with teh bankers and they will dissuade you from attending the meeting stating that your cibil report is as it should be after settlement "written off". donot accept that and meet the secretary and the cheif of BO and state your issue.

                                      you WILL be avenged as BO might levy penalties as well against the bankers

                                      Dear All. Last year (2008) in the month of Feb I payed the complete payment there was a due abount of 0.65 Rupees (64 Paise). I lost my card. and also i wanted to cancell my card. I called there helpdesk and asked to block the old card. then i told i dont want a replacement but i want to cancell the card. for that I was told to make the complete payment first. I said i have already paid the amount and only due is 65 Paise, I also asked whether i also have to pay that. for this I was told no need it will be redeamed from my points and for cancellation of card I was told a request will be sent to the concern dept. after that I never received any statement nor any call from HSBC. i checked online for a couple of times to see whetere thre are any other charges on my card and found none. after that i forgot about the card also. Today in June 2009 I receive a statement from HSBC Saying i have to pay 3328.68 Rupees. what is this for i dont know. the worst part is i am not in India anymore I dont have any information related to the card or its internet username and password. neither i am able to find the email ID of HSBC Call Center.                                       HSBC Bank Credit Card — Unexpected Payment

                                      Dear All. Last year (2008) in the month of Feb I payed the complete payment there was a due abount of 0.65 Rupees (64 Paise). I lost my card. and also i wanted to cancell my card. I called there helpdesk and asked to block the old card. then i told i dont want a replacement but i want to cancell the card. for that I was told to make the complete payment first. I said i have already paid the amount and only due is 65 Paise, I also asked whether i also have to pay that. for this I was told no need it will be redeamed from my points and for cancellation of card I was told a request will be sent to the concern dept. after that I never received any statement nor any call from HSBC. i checked online for a couple of times to see whetere thre are any other charges on my card and found none. after that i forgot about the card also. Today in June 2009 I receive a statement from HSBC Saying i have to pay 3328.68 Rupees. what is this for i dont know. the worst part is i am not in India anymore I dont have any information related to the card or its internet username and password. neither i am able to find the email ID of HSBC Call Center.                                       HSBC — Balance Transfer not received. Ask them to cancel many times but they do not cancel

                                      Dear sir/madam,

                                      I had requested a balance transfer of amount 12000 from my HSBC Credit card on 19th May 09.
                                      I have not received the Balance Transfer cheque order, so I e-mailed them multiple times to cancel the balance transfer from their side. But they do not cancelled. They ask me to fill a bond of Rs 200 for cancellation of BT.
                                      Why do I pay bond of Rs 200 for cancellation when I have not received the BT ? I have even threatened not to pay the due amount if the bank donot cancel it from their side automatically After customer complaint that I have not received the Balanace Transfer send by HSBC bank.

                                      Is it my fault that I have not received the Balanace Transfer cheque from HSBC ?

                                      Last day I have received my monthly statement of HSBC Credit card showing the above said Balanace transfer amount of Rs 12000.
                                      Is it FAIR ?
                                      I dont think so.

                                      HSBC Credit Card — No action taken for changes laid for Balance transfer

                                      I had opted for balance transfer of Rs. 75, 000 around 1 year and 8 months ago. This DD was not used by me and hence had to request for cancellation of the same. It took me around one year and six month to get the exact process and cancelling the DD. In the mean time I was receiving phone calls so I made the minimum payment of Rs. 7000/-. Then I provided the indemnity bond and they reverted back the Rs. 75, 000 which was reflecting as overdue against my credit card. But this was not the only thing in the mean time the finance charges did get accumulated and now around Rs. 45, 000 are still shown as out standing. In the mean time a HSBC contact person called me and asked me to make final settlement payment by paying Rs. 3900/- which will resolve the issues. Being very much frustrated I still paid that.

                                      However as of today no action is been taken and still around Rs. 45, 000/- are out standing. I have already paid around Rs. 10, 900/- for the balance transfer facility which I never utilised.

                                      I am helpless and tried calling all centres helpline no one is responding It is very much surprising for me that a customer has not used the balance transfer but still is forced to pay the interest.

                                      I kindly request you to look into this and help me to resolve this ASAP. I had submitted all the required documents to HSBC Indemnity bond, Payments receipt & Previous communications

                                      I would like to inform u that i am your customer from 3 year, till to day i did not pay any kind of annual fees for my card but suddenly i got annual fees in this month of statement, as i have life time free card, when i got this card i have asked twise time whether this card is life time free or not? then they told me that yes you have life time free card.so i will not pay this amount, as i am your good customer and i have good credit in your bank.so please wave this amount.otherwise i will not use this card in future.i will distroy the card.rep soon.my card no.is [protected].

                                      I am also a victim of HSBC credit card. While I am forced to stop using their card. We had enquiry about a bill item. It was not never revealed. At last a person from HSBC call center asked us to pay a particular amount to round off. We paid. Now again, they have sent a bill for no purchases from our side. I am surprised by their working. The guys at call center ... one person named Shiva whom I spoke last time does not even understand what an international call is. If HSBC is organized and able to see the records as they boast ... he has taken my 40-minutes for nothing. He was asking me to complain through the website. The website says pick up the phone and talk. Very contradicting. He said he would connect to his superior / manager. It was a bluff. He put me on hold telling manager not on seat or busy and again on hold. Is this the way an international bank works. I wont pay any charges they make just like that.If you have a HSBC card, first thing you do is tear that into 4 pieces and send back to them. You will always remember me giving this idea for life.

                                      I am employed with Everest Industries Limited having office at Mumbai. In or about Feb 2006, your marketing representative visited my Thane office and gave demo for the usage features of your card. While I was inquiring about the features of your card, your marketing representative obtained my signatures on some forms and obtained some documents from me for purpose of noting my name as “interested member” for filling inquiry form. Subsequently your Bank Credit Card bearing No[protected] was posted to me at my office address.

                                      I say that without my using your card, your Bank sent me statement for Rs.210/-.approximately. I say that I immediately called your customer care number putting forth my grievance and called upon them to cancel my card and terminate services with immediate effect. I also called upon them to sent me letter for “No claim”, to which they showed their inability and stated that same is granted only in case where there is any dispute above Rs.1000/-, however they assured me that card is cancelled and services are terminated. I say that subsequent thereof, I have not received any statement from your bank till date.

                                      I say that from last about 15 days, I am receiving sms from your bank for payment of Rs.4570/- towards aforesaid credit card pending bills. I had never imagine of such conduct from Big Banking Corporation like yours. I say that without usage of your services, how can I be made and forced to pay charges levied by you. I put forth my grievances with your customer care at Ram Maruti Rd branch, Thane who showed their inability to locate my bills and pending dues. They were also unable to provide me any Bank statement though I was ready and willing to bear the cost for same. I say that I also spoke to Mr.66667070 of your Bank collection centre at Mumbai,[protected] who responded to me rudely as if I am bring defaulter / criminal.                                       I strongly agree with the complaints towards HSBC. They are cheater and want to make money through il-legal practices. Regulators in INDIA should think about the credit card scam made by these foreign / private banks.

                                      I m signalling the warning of future credit card crisis which may happen shortly ( As per my opinion, it may happen in the midst of[protected] when the whole global market is recovering from the deep recession due to US mortgage crisis.

                                      Smart Indians...Be aware of Credit Card.

                                      Please use only that money which owes to your pocket. Do'nt rely upon these chit fund foreign / private banks. They are here only to make fool the financially sincere indians.

                                      CREDIT CARD PAYMENT DUE ON 1ST APRIL, 201O
                                      Dear Sir, Regarding the payment of Rs 1788..66 due on 1st April, 2010, I would like to bring to your notice that the undersigned has never used the said card for the past 5 months. But today I have received a bill for the said amount. Please let me clarify the details of the same. So that I can make payment.
                                      According to me there is a credit balance in my account with Rs 465.02.

                                      The card has been issued to me @ free of cost so far. Since it was issued I have accepted the same. The renewal charges levied last time is also reversed as the card is issued free of cost as I do not want to have a card by making payment for renewal. Since there is no purchase on my card I do not want to make payment. If it is renewal fee Please cancel my card as I do not want the card as the limit is reduced according to your choice.                                       HSBC Credit Card Billing — Bill sent for already closed credit card

                                      My name is Shashanka Dey . I had a Credit Cardno 6511 & SB a/c with the HSBC , B.B.D. Bag branch , Kolkata which I closed in 2011. Strangely I have received a bill of Rs 786.52 for payment by 15.4.13. I do not understand ,who has been using my Card after it was cut into 2 pieces by the Bank staff.

                                        When you drop the Cheque of amount payable and they just say "Not received" at a later date, what you can do. Precisely nothing except having proof of cheque no. and paying "Stop Payment" charges for Cheque as well.

                                        But what hurts is these companies than make a fine in the name of late charges and Bla Bla...... unexplainable XYZ charges. There should be some regulation on this type of behaviour.

                                        This has happened with me at HSBC in Noida, India.
