Dear Madam / Sir,
I am holding a Credit Card with No. [protected] since July 2006.
I have availed a balance transfer for an amount of INR 8000/- vide Cheque No. 258550 dated 28th November 2006 for my ICICI card No. [protected].
However, the same was never credited to my ICICI account. On enquiry, As per ICICI the cheque was bounced because of the “Insufficient Fund”. I am still not able to understand how the same can happen.
I have called up myself & informed the same to your phone banking but without trying to understand my problem they have been asking me to pay the amount. When I suggested checking at your end to confirm whether the instrument has been cleared or not, they are not wiling to listen to my case & adamant that I need to pay the amount.
Now, your recovery department is calling me up & threatening me to, immediately or face the consequences, which I believe is against RBI guidelines.
I have attached a copy of my complaint to ICICI Bank in this regard. I sure you will agree that I am suffering all these for none of my fault.
You are requested to check at your end whether the instrument has been cleared or not. In case ICICI Bank’s claim is true, you are urged to clear my card account from all the dues & activate the same again.
In case the instrument is cleared, please let me know with documentary evidence, so that I ccan take the case up with ICICI bank & I will be glad to pay all the dues.
You are urged to look into the matter & do the needful.
Best regards,
Pradeep Kumar

Dear Madam / Sir,
Refer to my letter Ref: HSBC/CC/070814-I dated 14th Aug 2007 to The Manager, Centralized complaint team, HSBC & email on the same day sent to [protected]@hsbc.co.in & [protected]@hsbc.co.in with the above mentioned letter as attachment; regarding the Cheque No. 258550 dated 28th Novemebr 2006, I availed through balance transfer offer.
Note that, I have not heard from you since then in this regard.
However as advised buy ICICI (recipient) Bank I asked for encashment certificate for the DD at the telebanking. I am told that there is no provision to issue such a document & I need to get an NOC from ICICI Bank.
Further every month interest is being added to my CC account & I am being pressurized to pay back an amount with interest, which I never utilized.
You are urged to look into the matter & get the same sorted out by issuing me the encashment certificate for the above captioned instrument; at the earliest.
A prompt action will be highly appreciated.
Best regards,
Pradeep Kumar

I had recieved HSBC credit card in 2006 and I ws told this card was free for lifetime.I had not used this credit card and I had not recieved any statements as well. this card expired in 2008 I was issued anew card by HSBC. I had not recived any call from HSBC prior to issuing this new card. I hve not used this new card till date, suddenly I got sms fronm HSNC stating that I have to pay Rs.1410/- I called up HSBC call centre they were not able to explian what the charges are for I was told they would call back but hey never bothered to call back . I called up again and this time was given another number to call on, which I kept tyring but was unable to reach anyone. I kept getting sms and call form recovery and each time I just pleaded to tell me why they are charging me this amount, but still no one bothered to tell me.
I have not recieeved a single statement to date as to why I have been charge this amount.
I recieved sms in September stating that I have to pay Rs9108.97/- the recovery agent was very rude, they dont even have the basic courtesy of speaking to the customers.
I do not want to pay any charges as I had not asked for this new card.
Kindly let me know how thsi can be dealt with.
Thanks & Regards,
Renita
