SUB : Refund of extra payment and surrender of Credit card -[protected]

This is regarding the Credit Card No. [protected]

I have personally gone to Kolkata HSBC Credit Card Branch at BBD Bag, Kolkata – 700 001 on 27th. March 2009 for payment of all my dues and met the representative for payment of full dues of Rs 10, 832.40 which he had confirmed from your Corporate official and accordingly asked me to pay the same. Immediately I had issued one cheque of Rs 10833/- and contacted your customer care for permanently block my the above credit card which was deactivated and as well as blocked earlier also.
Accordingly I called the customer care on the same day (27th March 2009)and asked him to block the card permanently and don’t issue any card against the same.
I also submitted one letter for final settlement and surrender of the credit card for the same on 12th. April 2009(Copy attached here)

Unfortunately when I received the statement of April 2009 (attached here) I found your credit card department has deducted Rs 100/- as replacement fee and change the credit card No as [protected] which I didn’t ask for and not yet received also. Further more you have shown another Rs. 41.71 as due.
This is totally height of nonsense done from your part and you immediately correct the same and send me the correct statement and now I am demanding a refund my balance amount.
So if it is happened in future again then I will take the serious step by making complaint against you in consumer forum.

Please acknowledge the receipt and waiting for your immediate reply and action.

HSBC Credit Card — Non Refund of balance

I was holding HSBC Credit Card No. [protected]. The Card was cancelled on 14th Feb. 2009. The April statement shows a credit of Rs. 789.93 which the HSBC deny to refund. Also 62 bonus points are in my account which HSBC deny to redeem. I had written several e-mail to company but no result.

HSBC Credit Card — getting statement even after five years of card blocking

Hi,
I am getting an outstanding card statement from HSBC while card was blocked five years back. statement outstanding is 25thousand now and increasing thousand rupees per month. when i tried to talk to call center many times they said first i have to pay the outstanding. i want to know the purchase against which i am getting the statement, no-one is ready to talk about the same. they only wants money to complete their targets.

As I have registered a complaint through telephone that I am not recieving the statements regulary and advised me to register email address for hsbc credit card and entered as [protected]@yahoo.com instead of [protected]@yahoo.in and my new email address from gamil is [protected]@gmail.com
Hence it is requested to noted the above changes and send the statements through email only for my credit card.

Hi,

This is in reference to my credit card dispute. I have taken a life time free credit card from your respected bank but after one year I have received one call from Mumbai regarding the my credit card annually payment (my credit card is life time free and now asking for the annually payment). I said you have provided the life time free credit card and now you are asking for the annually payment. The executive said sorry sir we will reburesement your payment.

I am getting call from various HSBC executive and they are asking for the due payment of 9K.

I don't know what to do?

Please help here to solve this issue otherwise i will escalate this issue to RBI.

Please allow me to introduce myself my name is Michael Mason-Mahon and I am a shareholder of HSBC Plc. I am based in London.
I was in Mumbai in September where I had a meeting with the CEO of HSBC to raise my concerns about the way HSBC was treating its customers.
I am going to ask the RBI TO DO A FULL INVESTIGATION into HSBC India.
For me to do this I need people that are willing to send their complaints to me and to allow me to forward their complaints, not only to the Board of Directors of HSBC Holdings Plc also to the Governor, Dr. D Subbarao and Shriv.K.Sharma, Executive Director of the Reserve Bank of India to investigate HSBC India as evidence to support the way that (and this is my personal belief) the Bank has breached the Code of Banks Commitment to Customers.

Please help me to help you, if we join together we will be able to make a change in their behaviour (I do hope so).
I have also sent a letter to all Board Directors of HSBC Holdings Plc.

I refer to the concerns that I raised at the AGM in May concerning the behaviour of HSBC in India. Following my representation of complainants against HSBC India I have found the behaviour by the Bank to be totally unacceptable. This is my personal belief.

I have found that the Bank has failed to comply with the RBI and the Banking Ombudsman Rules and Regulation in the handling of complaints. Also in all the complaints that I have personally handled there was no evidence that the Bank had informed the complainants of their right to take their complaint to the Banking Ombudsman which the Bank was obliged to do under the RBI rules and regulations.

I was the HSBC credit card holder 1-2 years back and on that time I Surrendered my card due to some problem with bank.But few week back HSBC sent one another credit card to use but i didnt purchase any material from any shop by using this card,now i have received one statement from HSBC that showing payment due is rs 1256.11.this is bank conspiracy with human being.I will be grateful to you if you take care of that.I am waiting for your reply.

    I had reseved email said that I had won sum of money by the(BID Lottery, FIFA House)which are now in your bank who will sent it to me.

      Credit Card — not forwading application by dsa

      on of Indore (India ) base your dsa by add. barkley bank, bhind trasur iland, south tukoganj-indore . Ph :[protected].
      They collected my orignal HSBC bank cradet card statment, photo copy of my PAN card, photocopy of my resi. profe and my singh application form for new applying BARKLEY BANK CRADET CARD but they are not prosasing my application for prosasing of my card. affter my severl contect they do not give me satisfied answere. If any misuse of my document the BARKLEY BANK is totly responsibal for that.

        Hi,
        I hold credit card from hsbc bank credit card a/c no[protected] i had in the month of oct 2007 received a call from the collection department and they informed me that the total outstanding is 12300 so i paid the entire amount and the executive came and collected the same. but the actual bill was of 12300.71 paisa and now for this balance 0.71 paisa they are asking me to pay 8530 Rs. Do you think this is justifed. Please advice what needs to be done.

        I made the payement by credit card but my order has been cancelled due to non payment by HSBC bank.

        I don't know what is the reason.

        This not a complent but just gervience against charges.I and both are well related since last 8 yrs. You can very well track my account and repayment made by me. I never paid part. This time I issued a chque which was post dated. I was not aware that post dated cheques are not accepted. The problem started at this level.Being the cheque was post dated it was dis-honoured.Here you charged for late payment.
        As I was out of country for 2and half month I informed your officer and paying certain ammount which I felt will be sufficient left to US.That was insufficient and my card made inactive.
        I here by request you that taking in to concideration of our relationship which of last 8 years, this time make reversal or wave the charges. This is because I have made all the payments for which I purchased. The balance charges are only due to delayed of late payment and disputed.
        I spoke to your cc officer named Sandhya and she has transferred it to superviser Ms.MISBA who had agreed to reverse some charges and pay some Rs.517/ only. Then I spoke to Aniket who is also one of yours cc officer .He advised me to write a REQUEST letter. on 15 th of August 2008.
        I once again request you that on the other hand I am told that, I am avaluable customer and I am charged like un reasonable.
        Pl look in to matter and do the JUSTICE.I hope you will not loose such sinciere customers.

        Subject: Extra Charged Include in Statement (Finance + Late Payment).

        Respected Sir,

        We have received your monthly account statement but we find that you are charged some extra amount i.e., Finance Charged + Late Payment Charges in our statement between two month, that is unfavorable for us because we are pay under the day or time limit which you mentioned in your statement. The detail of two month payment is as under:

        Opening Balance April Statement 2259.58/-
        Payment of April Month (30.05.08) 2260.00/-

        In May statement some charges of April Month for Late Payment (Finance 146.63 + Late Payment Charge 449.44 including service tax & Education cess) included but we have received your credit card statement in my office on 02.06.08, and we already made a payment.

        Opening Balance of May Statement 1508.82/-(146.63+449.44+912.75)
        Payment of May Month (30.06.08) 913.00/-(654.00 + 259.17)

        Again in June Statement you charged Finance & Late Payment also and again your statement is received on 01.07.08 this is not our responsibilities and we not made late payment fee and other charges.

        According to us total payment of June is 9719.17/-( Remaining Charges of May 595.82 + Charges of June 577.01 is excluded). We made the above payment on 01.07.08 through cheque of Bank of India.

        Total Payment of 30 June 08 10892.00/- (9719.17+595.82+577.01)
        Less: Extra Charges 1172.83/- (595.82 + 577.01)
        Cheque Bank of India Dtd. 01.07.08 9719.17/- (Cheque No.230834)

        So, that we would like to give special attention and request that you delete extra charges of two month from our statement and send new statement as earliest as possible and improve your service, also send bill statement on before time.

        Respected Sir,
        With reference of enclosing remember letter I would like to again kind attention that I pay our credit card statement bill on time but again and again you charged some extra amount include in statement, and I am very frustrated from this card and statement and we are not liable for late payment, fault is of by your side i.e., I have not received your Credit Card Bill Statement on time.

        One letter I enclosed to you for knowing extra charges detail, I also gave you detail of next month charges and payment made which as under:

        Opening Balance July Statement 10892.00/-
        Payment of July Month (02.07.08) 9719.17/- (Cheque) (9460+259.17)
        Payment of July Month ( 04.07.08) 9720.00/- (Cash) (9460+260)

        In July statement amount Rs. 10892/- some charges of June Month for Finance Charges 113.54 + Late Payment Charge 400.00 + Service Tax & education Cess 63.47 included but we made payment only Rs. 9720/- total (259.17 + 9460) and other charges are not liable for me because I am not responsible, also that payment is given in two times that means firstly I given a cheque which were return for Curfew at Indore, and again next day curfew is open so I made cash payment, also for these problems we are not made extra amountand cheque return fee to you, so please you clear these extra amount and send me new revised statement of 4 month from May to August.


        Opening Balance of August Statement 7976.76/-CR(146.63+449.44+912.75)
        According to us Opening Bal. of Aug. Bill 259.17/- (Tata AIG Insurance Fee)
        Payment of August Month (15.09.08) 518.34/-(259.17 July + 259.17 Aug)

        According to us total payment of August is 518.34/-. We made the above payment on 15.09.08 through cheque of HDFC Bank.

        So, again I hope that you gave special attention, and I request that you delete extra charges of four months from our statement and send new statement as earliest as possible and improve your service, also send bill statement on before time.         I holding HSBC credit card since 2-3 years and making regular payment for which I am using it.

        In April statement shown extra Rs. 8000 charges and for that I am keep on requesting and sending lots of letters but till that no proper answer received. So I have stoped using credit card and requst bank to block the card.

        I have paid all the charges and lastly some extra charges of almost 1000 to 1500 Rs. But now every month bank are keep on adding the intrest and sending revised statmemt.

        I have also approved local Baroda HSBC Bank Manager, but he has never given me any responce.

        There is no one in HSBC Bank to listen and solve the problem. You just want to get extrA Money from customer and haressing customer by calling every half an hr. When we explain our problem to collection dept. they will say it is not our problem and call Customer Servise dept.

        I am really tired and I need your help to solve the problem.

        Untill now I have written several letters to and if needed I can sent to you.

        Please arrange to issue statement with “Zero Outstanding”

        HSBC Credit Card — Unwanted Credit Card bill

        Hi,
        I was using a credtit card from HSBC number [protected] till year 2004. In year 2004 I stopped using the card. But HSBC keep sending card annual charge bill which i declined to pay. Since than after my multiple requests HSBC did not settle the account and want me to pay whoping 20000Rupees for no purchase. I asked for the purchase reference (if any) but not geting any proper document.
        I hope you can help me in raising this issue to correct person in HSBC and settle the account.

        Iam a credit card(XXXX XXXX XXXX 7801) customer of HSBC since 2005 and generally use this card for my monthly purchases and expenditure and was never a defaulter in clearing the Credit Card amount

        Couple of years back HSBC sent me another credit card(CC No. XXXX XXXX XXXX 4116), which i generally dont use and i placed couple of requets for cancellation this card. Now from last 4 months iam getting statement(Annual Charges etc.) for the card(XXXX XXXX XXXX 4116) and now i get calls from the collection department to clear the amount.
        I have tried calling Call center to resolve the issue, and they told me to contact Collection department to resolve the issue since the system is showing that my card is cancelled. I contacted Collections Department Hyderabad, and they are telling they cannot wave off the charges.

        I dont see any logic in paying the charges levied to me if iam not using that card hence. Now dont know what to do.

        I agree with these complaints. Now My complaints that I hold HSBC credit cards.First' I had purchase a mobile from thats cards than I had paid this amount 10 days earlier from the due date. I have reveived a call from HSBC bank that they had insured my payment so that I would be paid Rs. 500 somthing more money. I ignored that I have no need any insurance. HSBC bank charges on that Rs.500 again and again and charged late payment charges whereas I always said that I have not need any insurance so that please cancelled this charges. Now, the balance is more than Rs.4000.

        Now, again I have receved call from HSBC Bank that if I paid Rs.500 to the bank they settled their accounts and cancelled my Credit card and donot make me a disputed customer. But why I pay any money which for I am not responsible?

I hold that credit card of HSBC Bank. which charged on me for payment secured Insurance charges. which is not justified that I will pay for any insurance. I was not agree for any insurance.         Hi, I didnt receive any statement for the last 4-5 months for my amount due, and just last week i got an sms from HSBC to pay off my pending amount and the worst thing is that they have charged me Rs 400 + taxes for every month as Late fee...

        I strongly agree with you. I have been facing same problem with HSBC, this is one such bank which has pathetic services.

        They will never despatch statement, never send sms alert and never send e-statements.

        I think it is their policy to delay all this and then one fine day they will call you and would shock you with the late fee charges.

        I don't know if you are aware but RBI has laid a rule for all banks issuing credit cards to acknowledge the receipt of statements. But still these banks don't comply with the same, and the genuine customers like us have to suffer.

        HSBC never follows up for the receipt of the statement with the client, rather after levying late fee charges they will make sure that they call you.

        Why can't they do this earlier to ensure that the client's receive statements.


        I think we all should take some action against it. Also RBI should have more stringent regulations

        Hi, This is Regarding the outstanding payment on my credit card no. 44xx xxxx xxxx 6196, i wanted to know that what was the due amount that was left for which you are charging me the late payment fees and intrest charges, i have taken checked my email and found that the statement for the month of May 09 & june 09 is sent to my emai ID and i do not find any statement for the month of april 09, Feb 09.

        May statement shows the Previous Balance of 1102.8 rs due date was May 26th before that i dint get any statement, I have not carried out any transactions but still i am getting intrest charges and late payment fees,

        Please look into this matter and please make a reversal for my late payment charges and intrest charges as i have cleared all my previous Bills regularly without any delay and as a valulable customer of yours.

        On 26th April 09 I downloaded only 1 game and few wall papers from your link called livevodafonegames.com.in, where as it came to my notice that you people have charged me for 8 games that is approx Rs-800 .Just to give you a clear picture on this when I started downloading the game on my mobile for the first 7 times it gave me error which reads as " GPRS not responding, installation incomplete " and after that the link automatically takes me to the home page, so kept on trying again and again, at last on the 8th Time I was able to download the game, and I got the message "Installation completed "
        I also spoke to your Manager at Vodafone gallary at Hypercity Malad, as I was told to do the same by your call centre floor Manager. The Manager at Vodafone gallary did checked my mobile and was satisfied with me because he checked the time for all the 8 downloads, where he noted that all this has taken place in few seconds which only states there was some error in the GPRS that point of time.

        I have a deep request kindly reverse off teh additional charges charged to me .You can charge me for one game which I agree I had down loaded on my mobile.

        Please do the needfull .Please call me for any revert.

        WRT Credit card number [protected] :

        Credit card cancellation not noted despite having informed their customer services helpline. A new card was sent and with an annual fee which is not applicable if card is cancelled. Kindly facilitate cancellation and and a official notification of the same.

        Most companies offer card without annual fee.The same reason was conveyed to the CCE for my cancellation.However no action has been taken in this regard.

        Kindly do the needfull.
        Charges still not reversed. Service not up to the mark. KIndly reverse the ASAP.
        This is one of the best customes with HUTCH, KIndly reverse the charges ASAP. He is with us from Jan 1997 .
        I went through the same experience. I kept refusing to pay the charges, and the recovery department harassed me like anything. Ultimately I paid Rs. 4000 just to get rid of those recovery agents (very rude, uneducated female hooligans).
        After a few days I made a call to the customer care dept and said I want to cancel my card. The representative transferred my call to someone, who made a lot of sense when he was talking. I told him the whole episode and I told him that I never want to bank with HSBC because they treated me like a robber for only rs. 4k. I told him that I've already paid the renewal charges and now I simply want to end my association with HSBC. He got the message and requested me to use the card for the tenure that it was issued for. He also promised me to revert the charges, and I really got them back on my credit card balance. Then I spent that balance on some random shopping. Now the card is due for its renewal, and I am going to send a mail in advance, saying I don't want to renew it.

          I have been apporached by HSBC Credit Card Agent for a new card and I filled the form in May 08. I have received SMS through my cell phone that my HSBC Credit Card has been despatched on 26/05/08, but to my surprise I had not received the card till date. Though i have lodged my complaint through their land line phone, the receiving operator was so casual in receiving the message and informed me that I need not worry about the card and it will not be handed over to any unauthorised person. To my suprise, on 2nd Aug 08 I have received a credit card statement for the card I have not received so far. According to the statement that I have received, my credit card no. is [protected] and my account no. is[protected] statement showing a credit of Rs.100 to the above. I was unsuccessful to contact HSBC over phone. Hence this complaint. Repeat I HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY CREDIT CARD BUT THE STATEMENT. STOP MISSUE OF CREDIT CARD BY SOME ONE. HSBC ACT NOW.           HSBC Credit Card — REPEAT CARD STATEMENT

          I have been very punctual in paying off my entire outstanding amount. HSBC has been sending the card statement in my office address with a covering letter mentioning that it was undelivered in my residence address.

          I have recieved each & every card statement & paid each one of them that too the full amount.

          I have no idea how to stop this unproffessional act.

          HSBC/Credit Card — asking for extra money/never send the statement

          I had a credit card from HSBC number([protected]) . I used this card for a month and then after a long wait for the statement , i called the customer care , and they said my payment is due and due date is already expired , i was in a big shock as they never sent me any email , hard copy , or sms regarding my payment due. I settled the money and complained them to send me statement each month . but they never turned back and after 3 years they send me a letter saying , i have not paid the amount as 20000 . This is not done . If they would have informed me about my statement , i would have payed the amount on time . as per i remember , i tear down the card and given it to fire. May be i forget of paying around 5 thousands rupee. but is it not bank responsibility to send atleast a statement at regular time .

            sir,
            ihave two credit cards of hsbc wrongly when i made payment in oct 2007 i have put same crdit card no. in both cheques. from there problem creats because co. never send stetement of accont after some time bank call me and told me that my payment is outstanding i have told that i have already makes the payment and gives him my cheque no. statement of my bank account after that they told that i will bring the scaned copy of my cheque from my icici bank account from where cheque has been cleared. i brought the scaned copy of that cheque . Than I come to know whats the problem after that I meet with mr rajesh in noida branch . he is settelment officer. he see my case and he told me that he make waiver of my all charges and i should makes payment of 10000/- . i will agree on it and make payment in cash on same day they have issued me a settelment letter which shows that my account becomes nill outstanding from that day. but still i got calls from bank for recover I meet with mr rajeh every month they assure me every month that case will closed in this mont but still all are waist. after that i got i email address of bank . imake mail to him discription are of that mail is as follows

            HSBC Credit Card — Outstanding Payment

            I have written so many mails that I am not using the credit card since july'07 and I have paid the outstanding of the same in the month of august'07. HSBC has tie-up with TATA AIG Insurance co., without informing to me they have debited some premium amount from Aug'07 onwards on my cards and yet to send me the statement of the same. I have not received any Insurance Policy Documents from TATA Aig. In the month of November'07 regularly follow-up with the Executives of TATA Aig I could found my policy no. and requested them to cancell the same and credited the premium amount to my HSBC card. In the month of NOvember'07 TATA AIG executive had cancelled the policy and assure me that they have credited the premium amount to my Card. After that I have regulary recevie the message from HSBC that the sum amount is pending reg. the premium amount of that policy which is cancelled in the month of November'07. They are harassing me.

            My requisting kindly reduce the hiden charges, do some thing in my faver, total amount i will be pay in 2 instalment.

            A credit card no [protected] was issued to my name in year 2005 and it was cancelled in Aug'06. A few days back I received a call from your bank that an outstaning of Rs. 15, 000 on me.
            For your kind information, this card was NEVER used and at the time of issuing the card i aws assured that it had been free of any type of charges.

            I am an addon card holder from Vadodara and I am getting n number of calls from your recovery dept. even from banglore, hyderabad, mumbai and India for repayment of dues of my primary card holder. In fact I tries to convince them this is not my dues and as I am staying in different house than the primary card holder you better talk to the primary card holder though still they are calling my number for the same. SO, Please do the needfull by not making calls to my number at all

            HSBC Credit Card — Outstanding due to policy

            Dear Sir/Madam,
            This is in reference with the credit card no [protected].
            From last 4 years there is dispute due to the TATA AIG policy (MRP[protected]) on my credit card. After getting the papers of the policy I request for the cacellation of the policy at customer care but they were not taking the request for the cancellation. The very next day I stop using this card for any shopping after clearing all my dues. After so many reminders & written communication bank has cancealled the policy but not reverse the outstanding due to the policy.

            Current outstanding (Rs. 78000) is only due to the TATA AIG policy(MRP[protected]) on the credit card.


            I have all communication that took place while canceallation of the policy.

              PEOPLE INVOLVED RAVI[[protected]] AND SANDEEP AND THEY SAID IT'S TARGET PRESSURE FROM MR.ANUJ([protected]) O[censored]R BANK.

              THEY CAME AT 9:45PM AT NITE.

              SANDEEP IS THE PERSON WHO MISBEHAVED PREVIOUSLY ALSO AND ANUJ HAD PROMISED HE WILL NOT SEND HIM.


              RAVI AND SANDEEP FROM RECOVERY AGENCY USED THE METHODS WHICH WERE NOT SUPPOSED TO USED AS PER RBI LAWS.They have spoken rudely to my wife, harassed her and sandeep had done the same thing previously also and anuj had promised that he will not send this man again.they come and shout at top of their voice that it's 30 and they are unable to complete their targets.

              Is this the way HSBC wants to complete the targets ???????????????

              We refer to your email of 30 July 2008 addressed to the bank and to your subsequent telecon with my colleague Mr. Vinayak, regarding concerns on the captioned loan account held with HSBC.

              As apprised during your discussion with my colleagues from the Debt Management Team, please find attached foreclosure letter for your captioned loan account.

              With reference to your specific concerns on the calls received from our Debt Management Team, we observe from our records that the EMI for the month of July 2008 was not received by the Bank within the EMI date of 15 July 2008, hence, we confirm that the follow-up visits of our recovery agents was made for the due amount, as a standard procedure, in case of non adherence to the repayment schedule we remind our customers about the payment through SMS, emails, letters and phone calls. We wish to inform you that we contact the customers on the telephone numbers and the addresses provided by them and follow up for recovery of dues. This is as per business practice across the Banks to ensure that the delinquent accounts do not become deactivated and to make our customers maintain a good credit standing.

              Thanks goodness I saw this. Another freind of mine also has had the same treatment with HSBC collection ppl.

              I have been evaluating a loan with HSBC but will now think twice. My Rajesh, I think you should post this on all other complain websites so that ppl like me can see and evaluate the way the bank operates and as to whether to take any loan from them.

              Mr A S Sudha reply sounds like something written by a corporate comminication professional...
              The reply from Mr. sudha is not satisfactory at all. Cause it has'nt communicated regarding the events described in complaints but wriiten in complete GOLMAL language.

              Today only I was in mood to apply for loan from HSBC, but now after reading the reply from Mr. Sudha I completly changed my mind.

              Hi Guys,

              Be careful. HSBC has been pretty and shown utmost apathy towards customer services. I had wanted to sell my property and both the buyer and seller was all upto speed, but's its the bank who were so slack in the disbursement that they over shoot their own validity date and now e have to start the process all over again.
              Never again, inspite of all the best wishes by their Asst Vice president customer services - Sudha..
              Better safe than sorry guys... Venus flytrap once you are in its very difficult to get out.

              HSBC is the worst bank to open an account in, I would say to anyone who is even thinking of opening an account with this bank - dont do it.
              I opened an NRE and NRO account with them about 3 yrs ago, first they got my name wrong, then other details wrong. Even if you go to the branch personally the staff pretend to be helpful but do nothing at all.

              After a few months there were some withdrawls from my account, which ofcourse I was not even aware of because I was not even in the country. Next trip to pune was spent having to prove this and getting them to refund this money as it was a mistake on their path.

              Now they have deactivated one of my accounts and charging me for it and even after using internet banking, after logging in myself and sending them a request to activate this account. I have been told I need to send or come into the bank with photo identity and a letter and all sorts of rubbish. Ofcourse all of this is only possible if I am in the country.

              HSBC only charge you for all sorts, its the easiest way for them to rob their customers and Oh did I mention they will de-activate your account and charge you for that too. So if you open the account with say 10, 000 after all their charges your left with nothing.

              I am in the process of closing both accounts and be rid of the nighmare called HSBC. Dunno how long this will take - wish me luck

                Hi,

                I gOt Loan From HSBC BANK for RS 30000. with interest Rate Of 48.66% per annum(Reducing interest). Since the interest is very Huge, I decided To close This Loan After the Minimum period of Six months, When i contacted the branch for paying the Total Amount Of 24000(including 4% closure amount)..They said to wait for one more months to close the Loan.. i already Paid 7 EMI... They want me to pay One more EMI so that They Can get 1000 rs as interest.. Is this the code of ethics That Bank are Following... ?...For Loan Of 30000 I already paid 14000 as EMI still they deduct only 6500 as the principle amount.. Can any one tell me .what to do next...

                  I am repeatedly informing you that I have not yet received HSBC credit card for which two markeing agent approached me as back as in the month of April/May, 2008. I got the PIN No/Password with a covering envelop where my first name is mis-spelt. I informed the matter on several occassions but with no result. I have been getting Statement of Accounts regularly showing a credit balance of Rs.100.00.

                  I would request you to kindly make necessary arrangement to cancel my said credit card immediately and stop issuing statement of account without further delay.

                  I want your early action in the matter.

                    I on reciept of so many call from the bank asked to issue acredit card. My card no.is [protected].
                    immidiatly after receipt of card I surprised to see thast bank has issued a chaque of Rs.10000.00 in favor of me without my request/consent..I contacted the bank official in informed my concern, they said they will take up the matter. It was my further surpire when I recieved the payment advise for the interest amount on Rs. 10000.00charged by the bank when I did not encashed the instument.
                    Now bank officials are saying to give an indeminity to cenceell the chaque..The phone nos, provided by the bank on the recovery notice are out of service since long.

                          Please apprise the Provident Fund Commisioner, Hyderabad that thousands of PF subscribers are waiting to withdraw their PF. Emails and telephone calls, letters from employer are getting no response in many cases.
                          My own PF withdrawal is pending for more than one year. PF A/c NO is AP/HYD/37897/15710. All papers and application were submitted last year itself. Please see if you can get a reply from them as nowadays I am in Bangalore and it is very difficult to travel to Hyderabad to follow up. Thank YOU!

                                  Imagine yourself receiving threatening calls from some reputed bank like HSBC. Today I got a call from one of your staff member Mr. Nitesh Sharma (From number +[protected] @ 12:44 pm 4th July 2008 on my cell number [protected]). Whole conversation was for more than 25 mins and ended very unprofessionally. Following is the summary of call:-
                                  1) I was not comfortable talking to Mr. Sharma because of his limited knowledge of my issue and obviously because of his threatening language.
                                  2) Mr. Sharma told me that he is AVP and he didn’t allow me to talk to his manager.
                                  3) He told me that he will take me to court and will make my life miserable.

                                  But this is one of the issues which I want to highlight in this letter. I am having credit card of HSBC from last couple of years and have received only 3-4 monthly statements. I contacted HSBC couple of times (through emails and phone) regarding this. Few of my emails written to HSBC with complaint numbers are attached.
                                  As I was not getting my statements I very carefully made payments to HSBC with in 6-7 days of purchase. I will request you to refer my transaction details for this.

                                  Last month someone from HSBC visited my home (while I was not in) and behaved rudely with my wife. He forced her to pay 700/- rupees. I was not in town for about 3 weeks.

                                  Today on call Nitesh told me that I have to pay 4800/- rupees. He refused to tell me transaction date and informed me that purchase is of 1500 – 1800 rupees. As you can notice from my credit card summary that I have paid all amounts with in 6-7 days of purchase, I asked him to let me know when and where did I spent 1500 – 1800 rupees.

                                  He was unable to provide me all these details. As per my understanding I have made payments against all purchase, but if I have missed something I should not be charged (that too with late fee + interest) as I didn’t receive any statements.

                                  Just because of non delivery of statements I have stopped using this card.

                                  I spoke to Ms. Rukmani on Friday 4th July 2008 (on[protected] @ 2:59 pm) and as per her advice I am sent this mail to nodal officer and awating some action/response from him.

                                  in this even nodal officer Somya Sankar and Jerlin Xavier[protected]are also scammers. They failed to resolve the issues and problems. This phone of Nodal office is always ringing and I am sure this is never attended.

                                  their software and operations are full of faults, it is very risky to deal with HSBC. NRI please check the facts before dealing with HSBC.

                                    I have taken a personal loan from HSBC bank last year my loan a/c no:is[protected]. after the first emi the ecs was not hitting my bank account and i use to get letters from hsbc to pay the outstanding with a penalty of Rs250, after a complain i came to know that they have entered my account no: wrong due to this the ecs was hitting some other account after repeted complaints to the coustomer care and complaining to nodal officer the mistake is not rectified till today . i have applied for two wheeler loan in other bank but it was rejected stating that i am a DEFAULTER in CIBIL today i have complain in RBI and asked for COMPENSATION of Rs30LACSfor spoiling my CREDIT HISTORY AND MENTAL HARRESSMENT.

                                    I strongly agree that HSBC is the worst Bank to go to! They are high headed and use to taking unilateral decisions having their own Banking Laws and Norms and are Cheats of 1st grade! I had taken personal loan ; Loan A/c[protected] which has not only been repaid but they have recovered excess amount from my account and are refusing to refund the amount with interest and also the Cheque Ruturn Charages with Interest which were Stopped intentionally as the whole amount was paid to them in Cash. I wish there was a recovery team to harass them for recovery of amounts from Banks like HSBC

                                    I had a very horrific experience with HSBC. I was out of country for 6 months and due to a family emergency my expenditure on one month went high and i called up HSBC to delay the ECS by 10 days for which they said yes but ECS was presented and it got bounced.Then their collection agent came and collected the cheque stating that ECS will not be presented but to my horror i could see the ECS deducted and also the cheque encashed. I called up customer care, visited the bank lot many times and they were not bothered to sort out the issue. I stopped the ECS after 3 months and they came running to me and settled the issue. This bank is crap. Intermediately the collection agents started calling up my telephone which was with my wife and started abusing my parents as well with filthy language.

                                    I took a Personal Loan of Rs. 200000/- from HSBC bank on 12/12/2006 and Paid EMIs from that time to 10/2008. After that i didn't pay EMIs for a year. Now it is in settelement stage. I am paying less amount than the premium amount. the Bank executive told us that they will send all the no due documents and NOC. Will it be a problem for us in future to take another loan with any other bank or credit card if we go for a settlement. will they put us in siebel record?

                                    Sir, I had taken a personal loan from ur Hyderabad Branch worth Rs. 50K.                                     I have taken personal loan in hsbc, so every month bank is debiting EMI through ECS.But in a particular month, i dont have sufficient balance in my account and then agent called me for the payment, i told him i would pay in 2 days, mean while amount is credited into my bank account.Within one day bank debited the amount from my account through ECS.But this information is not updated to me and your agent.And the next day, unaware of the payment made through ECS, so i have paid the amount to your agent .After that i called to bank about adjust the extra payment to another EMI but they told that we will just adjust the amount from the principle amount .This is not at all fair.So i need the clarification regarding this deduction of extra EMI through bank statement (Complete bank statement) to be forwarded to my email id ravikiran.[protected]@gmail.com.I am looking for your response

At the time of loan taking they mentioned that my last EMI will be waived off if I clear all my installments without any late payment. But today they are chaning the words and simply cheating the customer. My sincere advise not to go with HSBC bank for any personal loans.

                                    I agreed and got the personal loan on Ist of Feb 2012. After seven days I got a call from your bank for the
                                    EMI of Feb month I asked them I got only PL on this month only why I have to pay from feb month onwards
                                    That is like that only they said then for that also i agree then I paid the FEB Month EMI through cheque
                                    by collecting person. But till now I have not received any amortization schedule and other PL related
                                    documents not recd . I have contacted chennai branch madam mobile no - [protected] no response.

                                    This is to inform you that I have taken the amount of 200000/ Rs as a Personal Loan from your bank.This loan was started 1st EMI 3Sept 2007 and loan has to complete in 60 EMI. The EMI amount is Rs 5188/.
                                    I have continuous paid my EMI.Now it will complete after 2 months.Today I have received a letter from you (Ref-CRU-CCU 04) that I should payment of 3056/rs even after the payment of all the scheduled 60 EMI. Why I should paid this because of my regular payment for my EMI ? I have record that my EMI is never late and don't bounce any.cheque.
                                    Please clarify me that how to calculate this amount? I am not interested to pay any extra rupees.With my humble request I want to NOC after 2 months complete my loan.

                                      As first time user i was unaware about how to inform you to convert bill amount in to emi's, i called up after i receive my statement in february, then your phone banking people refused to do so saying u need to call before you receive statement, some how i could manage to pay my total amount by 21 st april, otherwise all other statements regularly paid by me, i humbly request to consider my application waive off all extra charges still shows pending in my latest bill carried from feb till date
