I am holding an HSBC Credit Card and was making regular payments sine last two years. But to some financial problems in the family I could not make payments regularly by which the amount had increased to an extent which was not at all posiible for me to pay. So the bank offered me for the seetlement amount for which I agreed to pay. I payed the partial amount & now only a small payment is pending which I will be making it at the earliest. Mr. Ibrahim & Ms. Rupali Patel from DSA of HSBC at Malad branch is calling me up and harrasing me, they are also using abusive & vulgar languages which I cannot mention. They are calling up on my office board line and constanly firing bad words to the REceptionist of our company. Ibrahim is also threathening me. Please help.

    Dear Sir,
    my credit card no is [protected], I request for balance transfere, from the bank side conformation call also received, but still i have not recieved the draft, but in may credit card statement amount was reflected.
    when i am not able reach custmer service center by phone.

    I had HSBC credit card no [protected] til august 2007. I had paid all my dues till that date, but they debited several charges to my account. Numbers of times i requested to reverse the amount what i am not liable to pay. But they did not do that. At last collection agency people comes for settlement. They assured me that 'your a/c will be neutralised if will pay Rs. 500/- filanl payment'. i had paid that amount but HSBC people intimated to credit reference division and after that my life has gone to hell. I am trying to get home loan but not able to do that for these things.

    Please help me out.

      My name is Jayanti Seshadri and i have taken a personal loan from our bank that's HSBC,
      having the account number[protected].

      Due to some personal financial reason we are not in a position to
      the outstanding amount as of now due to which one of HSBC recovery agent by the name of ASHOK MAURYA is
      harassing me by saying that "if you don't make the payment we will take it by jabardasti immediately" and using
      all types of foul and offensive language
      Dear Sir,

      I am taken personal loan for your HSBC for Rs.60, 000/-.my EMI amount monthly is 3852/- it will debited to my ecs amount.I am paid the amount for last month. But this month i am not able to paid the amount due to my personal problems. I am really accept for its my mistaken to i am not paid the amount. it will not happen to next month. And i am paid the part amount for Rs.2000/- on today. i told him in this month end i am paid the full amount. kindly give the time i am defintely paid the amount for u in the mounth end. But ur collection executive not understand to me and spoken to some bad words to me. Its natural for everything. Because he is doing his job. My suggestion is please try to understand the customer whoever the best customer. I am not mention the particular exectuive name.Becasue its future problem for him. Please take a suggestuion for my opion.

Pl. confirm whether it is for online purchase/payment OR it is for direct shopping purchase also. I don't know whether you will provide new id no. or password for my two gold cards 1.         Please Note that your deducting rs.520.00 for the item TATA AIG GENINSURENCE MUMBAI IN
        through my above credit card number for several months, which I never purchased.

        I want following clearification:

        Since I have not purchased any such product, on what basis are you deducting the above mentioned amount?

        I want you to reverse all the amount which you have been deducting for several months with interest and penality, as you are charging when I'm at fault, within 15 days.

        If you are not solving this problem within above mentioned time, I will take leagal opinion from my lawyer and proceed the same.In this case you will be liable for any such leagal expenses incured by me in this process.

          Sir,
          On 17.6.08, while I was traveilling by Delhi Metro Rail, around 10:00pm, my above credit card alongwithwith ICICI and other articles was pickpocketed. When I realised of this, I lodged the
          FIR and the same time I reported to the HSBC and ICICI Banks. In the meantime transactins of Rs.56000/- has been done at above shop at 10:50-11:PM night by the HSBC Card. I sent Dispute letter to HSBC alongwith proof of fraud transaction and requested for action against the above shopower due to in involvement of fraud transaction but no action HSBC has taken against recovery of amount and debited to me & harassing me for payment. It is needless to mention that fraud transaction of Rs.22000/- which has also been done by ICICI Card by the same shopower on same date, day, time simultaneously, has been nullified by ICICI bank and reversed the entry but HSBC is denying for taking action and reversing the amount of Rs.56000.

            This is to bring your Notice that a Executive whose Mobile No is [protected] Lying to me from last one month.

            My self is Ashish Kumar Gaurav and my Contact no is [protected].

            I am using HSBC from last 7-8 year from last couple of months i am not getting bill on time due to this problem my payments were not made on time and HSBC charging late penalty charges.
            But I have requested to you send me bills on time even mail ID provide to them but bill not received.

            Due to non of the bill receved from last three months and payment were not made but the minimum outstanding become Rs.2000 Aprrox, but I requested them that whatever the late penalty of last three months please get it reversed byt the guy whose calling from this No [protected] told me that you will get is revered by this month but could not even not picking my call.

            Kindly help us .

            Your prompt action will be highly appriciated.

            H iAshish,

            Y dont u use the customer care number for any such issues?
            Make sure to call HSBC customer care. Always ask them for SR number whenever you put a request like change of address, bill on email, PIN generation etc etc.

            Alternatively, best idea would be to write an email to their customer care, and you will have the written proofs of your interactions with HSBC.

              I had made calls to HSBC customer care they they not talk properly or did the needful, then I got the email address from the website and started writing emails they replied in a auto mated format now the mail I am sending since June is 91 mails and yet no one has called to resolve my issue. I was humilated in the mails and even threatned even though I did not have any late payments or cheque bounces I am still writing mails for a call back and no reply yet. I have suffered from depression and humilation in several mails. I request help.

              Ref credit card no. [protected], I have not received the statement for the 24 Oct- 23 Nov'08. Please arrange to send the same. In the meantime I am making the payment of Rs.2000/-thru che.no. 022280 dated 12/12/08 on BOB, kolkata-12.

              Please also confirm whether you have collected annual fee for the new card or not.

              I am not getting the HSBC statement, even making calls everyday no e-statement & hard copy since last three days just getting confirmation of e-statement, but not received. then they will put finance charges, if payment will not made in time. some body can suggest how payment can be made without seeing the statement & confirmation of bills, if payment is 12-15 thousand.

              Dear Sir,
              I am getting frequent calls for the card payments and also your telemarketing people are making phone calls and without my concent your telemarketing people advised for TATA AIG General Insurance and in this connection I have given written compliant so far no reply from your end.
              Please instruct your people not to give phone No. to any of your telemarketing people.
              Further, I have droped two cheques at your M.G.Road branch for payment of two credit cards but they have not sent for clearance and un-necessarily I am getting calls to make payment and sms to my mobile to make payment immediately.
              Please look into this and send your comment/reply.

                I am a Indian Govt. employee. The HSBC Credit Card representatives almost forced me to get one HSBC credit No. [protected] with false promises. They issued one add-on card in my husband’s name without my approval/knowledge. They told repeatedly that no annual fees will be levied and those are lifetime free cards. But within a short time, they started sending statements showing dues against my cards. I have not used the cards for once. When they promised the cards to be absolutely free, how can they levy the annual charges within a few months? This is total harassment and uncalled for from a Bank of international repute. Repeated attempts to contact them on phone went futile. Ultimately, when I went to HSBC Branch (Barakhamba Road, New Delhi, India) with my complaints, they connected me to one of the customer care executives. I informed her of the whole story, got my cards cancelled and sent my mutilated card with the add-on card on August, 2008 straight from HSBC Branch to their Chennai HQ.

                But my agony does not end here. I am still receiving calls from the recovery agents & statements showing annual fees of Rs. 3939.58, may be with late fees also (no explanation given on statement).

                I therefore request you kindly to stop sending any statement against my cards which are already cancelled and returned. The calls from recovery cell should also be stopped IMMEDIATELY, which is causing great deal of harassment and pain to me and my old and ailing parents.

                Hope you will look into the matter to relieve me of my tension & pain.

                Dear Sir/ Madam.

                I, Manish Gawde am holding a Mastercard having number [protected] for more than the last 10 years.
                I presume that the very fact I am holding the card for so long proves that I have been an exceptionally good customer for your bank.
                After all this years the kind of treatment meted out to me has been shocking and very very demeaning in spite of the fact that it was your Bank which was at fault in the first place.
                It was your ATM machine which kept gobbling my card, It was your collection person who came and collected the cash as directed by your representative, it was your collection department which did not reflect my received payment for 2 months. It was your Bank which suspended my card, it was your collection department which kept calling me and asking for payment which I had already made, It was your customer care department which in spite of receiving all my complaints never made anyone stop from harassing me. The only thing I demanded to make my payments was that all the penalties charged for the mistake done by you all be reversed and an updated copy sent to me. I was promised a letter of apology for the mistake and a call from the collection department for the same which never came.
                On the 10th of may I receive a call from your Worli collection centre for the outstanding payment and on my telling the person concerned that I am out of town and will be reaching Mumbai on Monday and you all can wait for the payment till then what response I get was absolutely shocking, The person Mr. Arjun Nikam accused me saying that that I am not paying the same on purpose and I do not have the money to pay back in the first place. Then I was abused by him and threatened that he will send someone to collect the payment that day itself, He then called up my residence and threatened my Wife with dire consequences on not making the payment to the representative. He told her that we will come and insult you in front of your neighbors and tell them that we are using the bank money and are not repaying it. He called my wife 5 to 7 times and kept on harassing her in spite of her telling him to speak to me only.
                I then called him and told him to come personally after 9 the same evening as I was coming back immediately to catch hold of him. On telling that I we will make a police complaint he just mocked us.
                I have registered a complaint for the same and have now decided to file a complaint against your Bank and also take legal action for the harassment you have made my family go through.
                As far as your outstanding payment is concerned I will only pay that to MR. Nikam when he comes personally to collect the same.
                You can take this letter as a complaint or threat is up to you.

                This is to bring to your kind notice that despite settlement of my brother credit card account six months back i am getting calls and harresment with filty language at my residence and on my mobile"s number also my wife"s mobile using very rude language.i am giving my payment details with referance to the telephonic discusstion had with the tele executive from hyderabad branch.
                the referance number of the letter is hyd/dca/wo/02026 dated 08/02/08 bearing my brother"s card number [protected].the letter has come to me through hsbc reprasentative personaly on 8th february and i was told by hsbc hyd.branch tele executive that i may pay the amount of rupees 3000/-
                pertaining to the settlement of my brother"s card as mentioned in the contents of the letter.she told me that i may pay the amount in cash to the reprasentative and take his acknoledgement on the original sheet and the same was signed by me on the duplicate copy along with the cash and handed over to the reprasentative.i am holding a original copy with duly signed by the manager-debt management and also the signature of the person who has collect ed the cash.
                i am rather surprised after six monts of clearing the amount one miss.chandrakala has called from delhi on 25th.at 15.10hrs.bearing number [protected] and she is using very abusive language which was not tolerable by me and my family members which led me to mental tension and unncessary nusiance.
                i request the concerned department to stop calling me and if any proof is required against my payment i am holding the original letter with recever"s signature.once more if this phone call harresment occurs
                i will file a damage suit affecting my reputation and goodwill where hsbc is responsible.

                Hsbc credit card MC Gold — Complaint against the bank for harrasement

                I held an Hsbc Gold MC no [protected] made a payment of Rs.5000 by cheque from my PNB Bank and I have a certificate showing that amount has been been debited from my account .Inspite of my giving them the evidence and talking to their various officials in various towns as advised by their people . After clearing all dues I discontinued the card but they continue sending me the dues which I actually do'nt owe them .Lately I am getting all sorts of threating calls .Please help me as my requests have gone unheard
                I agree to the statement here. It is a real pain to maintain an HSBC card. I second each and every statement made. In my case, the worst happened as I hold an HSBC savings account with HSBC, pity on me as my company holds a salary account with the bank and I have no other option but to maintain the relationship with HSBC.

                Given a chance, I would love to walk out from being their scape goat!

I’ve accepted these cards only after they told me these are absolutely free and their will be NO ANNUAL FEE. Last year I’ve received statement of annual fee I have called hundreds of time to the customer care then finally they send me the final statement with zero balance. This year again the same story started I’ve received the statements stating more that Rs. 5000/- amount. I’ve made only one transaction of Rs. 385/- that I can’t pay as I’m not getting the correct statement.

                I’ve repeated tried to contact customer care executives but received very very unsatisfactory responses. On one single day I’ve spent more than 3 hours to resolve this issue and contact your executives, I’ve spoken to many executives but have not received any positive response especially from customer care executives.

                I therefore request you kindly close any account IMMEDIATELY and send me the final settlement letter with the actual balance to be paid (excluding the annual fees).

                This is very urgent as these are creating great trouble for me.

                MISREPRESENTATION AND CHEATING BY HSBC

                The representative of HSBC came to my office and gave me credit card saying it is lifetime free and I will not be charged any Annual Fees nor Add on Card Fees.

                Then HSBC charged me my Annual Card Fees. I told them that when I was given the card i was told it was lifetime free and that they shud reverse the charges and cancel my card. They didnt reverse the charges despite telling them many times on their customer care number.

                Finally they reversed the charges for the 2nd year but not for the first year. Now i keep getting their statements which show all compounded charges. This amounts to cheating and misrepresentation on the part of HSBC and I am wasting a lot of time writing to their customer care and RBI Ombudsman. I dont know waht to do. I am really fedd up.
                This is only complain which i saw in the websites, more over HSBC has good reputation only to harrasse the customers.When you contact the customer care yet as if they are doing some favour to us.And people in the bank give all stupid commitements which will not help the customers.

                HSBC Credit Card — Harrassment by HSBC Credit card

                I am Pallavi Jain and this is with reference to HSBC gold card credit card no. [protected] .

                I got this card ith my salary account with Quark in chandigarh in July 2004.

                In 2006 I shifted to NCR and I got the address changed and asked for a new credit card ( old one had expired or damaged) . The customer care told me that the new credit card cannnot be delivered on new address . So I will have to come and collect it from Noida branch.

                After that I could not collect the credit card.

                After 2006 end I did not use HSBC card as I did not have one and also did not receive any statement from HSBC bank.

                In Dec 2008 I received a call from HSBC saying that I need to pay approx Rs. 20, 000 and the settlement coud be done on around Rs. 9, 000 for some expense which is showing on my card.
                I asked them for details of expense which they did not give me and talked to me in a very rude manner.

                After this I have received written statement from HSBC in Dec 08 asking to pay approx. Rs. 20, 000 but this letter does not give any details of what and when any expenses have been done on this.
                Inspite of my repeatedly telling the agents that I don't have HSBC card any more they have been giving me repeated harrassing calls to me in my office time.

                The mental harrassment by these guys is too much and its vey painful to interact with these guys.

                HSBC Credit Card — annual charges on add on card and not able to connect customer care department on telephone

                I AM NOT USING H.S.B.C. CREDIT CARD AND ALSO NOT BY MY ADD ON CARD MEMBERS.                 I closed my HSBC card(Card no-[protected]) before one & half year & also inform HSBC VADODARA-GUJARAT-INDIA branch by 14 hand written complain to stop the mental harassment by sanding credit card statement every month.HSBC also applied TATA AIG insurance premeum to me. So if I am agreed on your offer of TATA AIG insurance sand me my signed document by post. Also your recovery agents talk with my wife on my Mobile in very rough maners & if you have any proof sand it to me about my outstanding purchase bill.Your representative forcing the Card holder for various insurance policies & also for Credit card & than you appling late payment charges. I have all proof now you check your data & give me reply immediately.If you have a proof I will be agreed to fight with you in consumer court. If i not get proper reply I am going to complain at Local police station & forward this case to RBI Ahmedabad (Gujarat). So check your data my card is closed & I have also letters from your Chennai Head office. I did 14 complains to your Vadodara-Gujarat-India HSBC Ellora park branch to void all wrongly applied charges & stop the monthly statement. I think there is very big communication gap between your Vadodara & Chennai(Madras) Head office.

                I am Geeta Saini, I am HSBC Credit card holder [protected] from last one and half years. My card limit is 56000. I did not recieved any months statement from HSBC.
                I never been used my HSBC CARD card. In the february09 I got lost this card some where and my card was missued by sombody of amount 10, 000. when my card used by someone I did not recieved any message on my mobile phone also. I got shocked when I recieved a message from HSBC that your credit card payment due for Rs.10, 000 of the february month. I immediate inform to the HSBC customer care to blocked my card. I complained about my card with written application also in HSBC BANK at PUNJABI BRANCH on dated 09march2009. I expect from HSBC BANK will take some action about my complaint.
                No response from HSBC BANK, even they started to harassed me again and again. I got recieved call from Bombay, Gurgaon and etc branches regarding HSBC payment. I am totally fed up from HSBC.
                You can check my previous record also from HSBC and other bank also. I am all bank's credit card holder, But never face problem like this. If I want to be defaulter why i used only 10, 000 even my card limit 56000. so please take some action.

                HSBC Credit Card — Harassment by the collecting agents when there is no due.

                In reference to my Credit Card bearing no [protected] i have been recieving calls from the collecting Agent of HSBC for payment of outstanding. It has been repeatedly mentioned to them to produce the proof of any purchase made by me after the settlement thier bill dated 27.03.2006. Till date they have not been able to produce any proof and now they have sent a letter for one time settlement of the outstanding claimed by them or else they will publish my name in CIBIL to affect my future credentials.

                I have been a loyal customer to HSBC for the past two years; Three months back I was getting frequent calls from HSBC sales team as they were promoting a package/offer by name Premium Circle program. They were saying that this offer was for only few selected HSBC customers. It is a vacation plan and contains some facilities for basic air-fare and stay in a selected hotel. Initially I felt it was a good offer and asked them to send me the terms and conditions and optimistic to join the program. Meanwhile they have taken it as my confirmation of the offer and sent a parcel to my residential address. Having gone through the literature provided by HSBC I was not satisfied as it included lots of conditions. I being working in IT industry cannot plan my vacations in advance and hence I got back to HSBC requesting them to cancel this offer to me. I have repeatedly called them and informed that I am not interested in this offer but I am getting outstanding dues statement demanding 6400/-. Ultimately I asked them to cancel the Credit Card for which they were prepared to cancel the card. Even though the card has been cancelled and none of the facilities provided by the program has been used by me, still I am getting outstanding dues. This outstanding bills cause a lot of trouble to me. Please help me.

                I was also using a credit card of HSBC (xxxx xxxx xxxx 0275) on which i had done some purchasing and after that i didn't got Statement for that month. And the next month i got the statement with late fine charges.

                After that i got call from some recovery agency and they asked me for the money, i told them that i was agree to pay whole amount i owe them but not the late charges. They said that they will settle the payment for me without late payment and i agree for that. After that i got a letter from NOIDA branch Ref No- FFS/NI/NDH/CPD/NWO/100908-1PM for the full and final payment of RS 19570.00 in 1 installment. After receiving the letter i made the cheque ( No-149622, Syndicate bank, ) of the same amount and droped it to the drop box. The payment for the same has been debited from account on 1 OCT 2008. After that i received calls from so many recovery agencies for the money and i told them the whole story again and again.
                Despite that till date i am receiving the monthly statement of the credit card.
                I am getting sms on my mobile toward o/s. of Rs.12945/- ag. credit card of HSBC vide card no. [protected]. but after many followup with you customer care I have not yet received respective statement as the due date is 06.02.2010 please treat at urgent arrange to e mail on e mail id [protected]@rediffmail.com
                I had not used HSBC credit card almost more than a year. I was under the impression the card is been canceled. Suddenly I get a Annual membership fee with late payment charges. Now they are not ready to close the card untill I make the payment. Its harassment when the person has not used the card for more than 1 year why make them pay the late payment fee??
                I was a HSBC gold card customer. Compared to any other credit card HSBC is the worst.
                Reason:
                1) Too much late payment fee.
                I was suppose to pay Rs 6000, but due to some reason my payment got delayed by 2 days. HSBC late payment fee was Rs 700 (including all bla bla taxes)
                I have Standard chartered credit card, I made transaction of 70, 000. And i delayed the payment by 2 days. Fine was Rs 500.
                There is a huge difference in HSBC and other credit cards.

                2) Check collection Fee (Rs 110)
                A person came and collect check for the payment of my credit card. In my next statement it was showing Rs 110 as "Collection payment pickup fee". Most of the banks do it free.

                I cancelled my HSBC credit card immediately.

                So who ever is reading please do not go for HSBC credit card. Its the worst in the market.

                My name is Purvi Shah and let me start by mentioning that I have never owned your bank (HSBC) Credit Card and for about a year i am getting harassment calls from your bank stating that i have missed my payments and they are calling from the collections department. I have told them time and again that i never owned any credit card from HSBC bank and they still call me everyday and harass me .Now that i have stopped answering these calls they give me miss calls, that is they disconnect the calls after one or two rings . These calls start around 2pm and keeps ringing till about 5pm or 6 pm..

                I asked them to confirm my details and they give tell me that i am from MUMBAI and starts reading Mumbai postal address. I HAVE NEVER LIVED IN MUMBAI and when i tell them that i am not from Mumbai they ask me to give my current address which i refuse to do since this is not my card and i have never owned or used HSBC credit Card.

                To Consumer court authorities,
                I was compelled by one of HSBC agents to get life time free credit card for which they collected information about me from my office. I received HSBC card ([protected]) and so far we have not used even once. When I kept the card unused, one of the agents approached me for Balance Transfer option of our HDFC bill dt.13/04/08 for an amount of Rs.13, 915. I am still wondering how that agent collected information on our HDFC bank transaction and had all relevant Xerox copies of documents required for the balance transfer process.With much hesitation I said OK, but he did not send cheque on time. As I have an habit of paying dues before due date, I paid the amount through cheque from my wife's SB account to HDFC.
                So I called the customer care and informed them that I have not received any cheque/ DD and asked them to cancel balance transfer request. The very next month another agent from HSBC tracked our HDFC transaction and approached us for Balance transfer option and the story repeated. Again I did not get any cheque/DD. Till then we have not received any monthly statement or any other mail from HSBC. So I called the customer care and cancelled my card and asked them to stop tracking my HDFC credit card transactions and/or collecting information about my personal details. I requested them to resend my documents. But there was no response. A few months later, I got calls to repay outstanding balance. Immediately I went to Adyar branch, Chennai and gave a written complaint narrating the entire story. A few months later I got a call from Delhi to whom I narrated the entire story.They asked me to send details in email Id- info @hsbc.co.in. So I sent all details in email on 19th Jan, 2009 including the scanned copies of bank pass book from which I made payment and the receipt details from HDFC showing our SB account cheque number. They sent a reply (dt 20th Jan 2009).that my card was closed w.e.f 12th August 2008(in one email reply), 24th December 2008 in another reply. Again there was confusion
                So far we have not areceived any monthly statement or any other mail from HSBC.
                Nearly after one and half years the HSBC people have sent a lawyer notice for reconciliation claiming Rs 45, 550/. In front of their lawyers, when I spoke to the customer care people and told them the entire story, they simply said that it was a system generated error. They again asked me to give a complaint by email. With much pain and anger, I sent an email again. But the tragedy is that again those people have tracked my personal land line and mobile number. They are unnecessarily calling me particularly between 2pm and 5pm.

                I want to reiterate that the customer care people of HSBC are giving different answers for the same query. Even different reply for the same email. So far I have not received any monthly statement or any other mail. Even that lawyer notice was not received by me or my family members. It was kept in a common post box. Unnecessarily HSBC is tracking my transactions and personal details.I don't know how is it possible to use a cheque or DD given in the name of HDFC could be used by others?. I got confirmation from HDFC that they have not received amount from HSBC to clear my balance. I am sure there cannot be chances for misuse of the cheque/ DD. We have not used HSBC credit card even once. We have not received any cheque/DD. How there can be an outstanding balance?
                When I read these posts I realized that I am one of the genuine Indian customers tracked and trapped by HSBC for harassement.
                I request Indian autorities to take severe action against these erring persons and institutions.
                I request Indian authorities to protect our genuine Indian customers from these institutions.Kindly treat these matters urgent and put an end to these harassement, false claims and false allegations.

                I want to cancel my HSBC credit card, but there is no response from customer service.

                HSBC Bank — Credit card, levied charges without my knowledge

                I had a card from HSBC Bank. I used the card for some time and paid all the outstanding on time. Later I stopped using this credit card. Also, the address for correspondence was my office address and email was official email. I switched the company in January 2010.

                One day(Sep 2010) while checking my credit cards I found that my HSBC credit was missing. So I called up the customer care of HSBC for reporting the lost card. Then the customer care told me that there was an outstanding of Rs. 8997/- and the card was already closed. I was shocked because I had not used the card for long long time.

                On inquiring further I found out that, without my knowledge HSBC renewed my credit card, and issued some add on cards which I never asked for or received. They kept on accumulating interest and other charges and the amount went on to to become 8997/-.

                I have sent a mail to HSBC, but haven't received any response. What can I do further? I don't want to spoil my credit history. And I don't want to pay these absolutely unjustified charges.
                Also, I forgot to add that, when I was given these card back in 2005, I was told that the card is lifetime free.

                I just realised that I am better off than most of you but going by the stories I am reading but I know that going by the reputation of HSBC I am going to get into even bigger trouble. I had a credit card [protected] which was cancelled about a year back. When the card was given I was told that all yearly charges would be waived off...I had cleared the complete outstanding when I cancelled the card and had a zero balance...a couple of weeks back I started getting calls that I had an outstanding of some 4000rs...when i queried the Agents calling (and they will make on their nice days atleast 10 calls in a day) they tell me it is the yearly rentals that has not been paid on which interest is accruing...i just received a call from an agent called Divyanshi Bakshi who says that if I had used their card they would have waived it off but since i have not used it they are levying these charges on me...some of the threats i have received are that they will ensure my credit rating will be screwed and i would never be able to do any transactions with banks...I have used many banks credit cards and i would like to say that HSBC is pathetic...does anyone know whom i can write to and have this addressed?...Never use a HSBC Credit Card!...or maybe for the way they are harrassing me i better payup as after todays call my outstanding has gone up to Rs.6000...very soon for my yearly rental amounts the outstanding will reach a lakh! Very scary and their Agents are also very rude!...looks like when you have a corporate which doesnt care about its reputation their agents care even less!                 My self Rakesh Dave, earlier I was having the HSBC Card mentioning [protected], I have paid all the amount (10, 612.00) in the year 2008& at that time they have charged Rs.750/- interest & late payment. at that time mutual understanding & commitement from call centre, i have paid the amont (b'coz 1 month i had not received the stmt.) .

                Now last 1 months I am receiving the statement amount of 20, 140.92, I have applied for the loan & my loan was rejected due to cibil rating.

                That time i have came to know that, the amount gone up to 20, 140.92 (within 3 years they have increased from 750.00 to 20, 140.92)

                Pls justify the things.

                  I got a HSBC platinum card, that was absolutely free . I confirmed this thrice from HSBC representative. Now they have charged me 7393.62 INR as a part of joining fee and annual fee in my first billing cycle.
                  I have not used the card once.
                  Their customer care representatives are also not answering in a positive direction. Can you please help me to resolve this.

                    Dear sir,

                    I Minukumar was holding Credit Card no. [protected] of HSBC for more than three-four years. Till last year Aug, 07 I was paying my dues without fail, which can be cross verify from my payment history with the bank.

                    Everything was going fine until I had applied with HSBC for balance trfr. of Rs. 13500/= somewhere in 18th Aug’2007 to pay my outstanding of other Credit card of Citi bank but till date the same amount has not been credited by HSBC to the said credit card.

                    I had informed the same to customer care of HSBC and requested for Stop payment/reversal of that DD. But the same was not reversed by HSBC instead of that HSBC has start charging interest on the above amount of 13, 500/=.

                    Meanwhile I was keep calling at customer care of the bank, but no one was seems listening me, instead of reversing the amount, bank has start threatening to me on phone and harassing me by sending recovery officer to my residence.

                    After months of follow-ups with customer care of the bank then I approached to bank via its official Email I D([protected]@hsbc.co.in), and after various mails bank had replied me, in the month of November’ 07, that above amount of Rs. 13500/= and interest, penalty charged thereon will be reversed in next month statement but it was not reversed by bank till end of the last year but bank keeps threatening me via telephone and recovery officials then again I start writing mails to above mail ID and telephone to Ms. Narmata (Mumbai) of the bank and after many mails bank replied in the month of April, 08 that my credit card has been already closed. In response to their reply I had written them that please coordinate with their recovery and bill generation department because these departments were not act according to the reply given by the bank through Email.

                    Finally the bank was accept the full & Final for the balance amount of Rs. 18, 000/- from my card statement. I pay this amount in April’08 for Rs. 9000/- cash and final payment(Rs.9000/-) POD cheque in 2nd May 2008. On 07th Sept’08 bank sent a collection agent to my house for the collection of the due payment in my absence, he misbehaved with my wife and other family members. They threatened and used abusive languages and collect Rs.500/- Receipt No. CPD3 0351570. However I was helpless and could do nothing so I complained to the concerned department about the incident and the behaviour of the agents. but interest and penalty charged thereon, which already reached to around 30, 607.44/=, is still reflecting in my card statement and bank has declined to reverse the above amount instead of that bank is forcing me to pay the above amount.

                    Further HSBC has already registered me as defaulter with RBI credit agency, which also hearting my credibility in many ways.

                    Keeping the above facts in view your goodself is requested to help me out of this problem as I am mentally very disturbed with this. Bank is not listening and keep giving me recovery calls and regularly sending recovery agents to my residence which is very embarrassing to me.

                    I applied for balance transfer. I have not received any balace trasfer cheque, however I am being billed for the same. I have time and again complained to bank and instead of rectifying the problem they are bothering me and my family by sending collection agents and calling me to pay bills.

                    I have never defaulted on any payment and have made all payments much before time. I was given HSBC Card I was told that it is lifetime free and no Annual Fees will be charged to me. Further, I have always made the payment before Due Date and hence no Finance Charges and Service Tax are applicable to me.                     I, Pooja Kharbanda having credit card number [protected] has applied for the cancellation of card on 31st Dec 2007 and called up around 10-20 times at cancellation department for cancellation of card but the status was not updated by them and card was not cancelled.

                    HSBC have charged annual fees of around Rs. 2000 on this card which was not told by us at the time of issuing the card and no bank is charging annual fees then how come HSBC charging annual fees and moreover the service is also worst.

                    I have already called up at customer service/ agency 10-20 times to cancel the card and reverse the amount but they have not taken any action, I am really pissed up with all these stuff, getting calls daily to pay this much amount.

                    I have not used this card even and the amount has been clubbed to around 6000+ after charging late fees on this annual fees payment. I called up many times to collection department to waive off the charges and clear my account but that is of no use and they talk very rudely and using abusive language.

                    I have forward this case to nodal officer also but not yet got any satisfactory response.

                    I am getting calls from collection department to pay this bill but I am not going to pay even a single penny as this is not genuine amount to be paid because I have not made any transactions from this card after I applied for cancellation of card.

                    HSBC is losing this to there competitors who at-least understand there customers and try there level best to solve there grievance and make them loyal and a part to there big family.

                    Now at present I am getting numerous HARASSMENTS and THREATENING CALLS from HSBC on the dues of my account. I am holding the amount asking them to release the itemized statement to check transaction of my card but they are not providing any details but I know it is the annual fees they have charged of Rs 2000 inspite of cancellation request given to customer services many times.

                    Even, they called at my landline no. and use very abusive language with my family members which is not acceptable on behalf of HSBC staff, they don't have courtesy to talk to the customers.

                    Keeping the above facts in view your goodself is requested to help me out of this problem as I am mentally very disturbed with this.

                    I request you to do the needful and clear my account by reversing the whole amount otherwise I will have to esclate this issue Banking Ombudsman for mental harassment.

                    I, Prakash credit card No. [protected] would like inform you that I have recd the letter stating that out standing balance is Rs. 16240/-. whereas i have purchased/paid for Rs. 935/- + Rs. 1941 = Rs.2876/-. out of which Rs. 935/- was remitted through SBI vide chq No.491712 to hsbc . But again it was showing as outstanding balance. Regarding this we have wrote a letter and even sent the fax, but no response. if we call landline none of them receiving the phone. and I was receiving a call regarding this. and i have explained what had happened and they could tell i will call back and never called back. and again i have remitted Rs. 1000/- vide cq no. 491725. But we did not come know this amt has been remitted or not.

                    when I received the call from hsbc and I enquired that i have already remitted Rs. 1935/-, they told no amt have been remitted. and i was shocked. and what basis i can remit the balance of Rs. 941/- because they have told that we have not remitted any outstanding balance. if we call the same person who have called me they received for first time and told i will call you back and they did not do so. Again i called them they did not receive the call at all. We have requested them to close my credit card and we will not be using the card any more. they told ok.

                    Now I have received the letter on 13.6.2009 showing outstanding balance of Rs. 16240/-. it was very suprising to see this because we have closed the credit card and we have not used the card at all. In this letter i saw a contact person name and no. i called him and briefed about this. again in this matter i called him as and when he told to call for 4-5 times. then i sent a message to him as we was not receiving the phone. after then his assistant called me up and told that your outstanding balance is Rs. 12+odd. I told him that only Rs. 941/- is balance. I now i am remitting the same within a week.

                    I am kamal sharma. I am your hsbc credit card holder, I had purchased some material up to 40000/- only but sir due to my personal problem i am unable to pay the money against this amount.
                    I want to request you to make an emi from coming december 2009 for rs. 3000 p.m. because i am joining my new job from 24/10/2009 so my condition will be recover from december 2009. I have no job from last 1 year due to economic crisis, So kindly please cooperate with me for this situation. I hope u can understand my problem & due to my job related problem my family is struggling this time & facing many problems due to the lack of money becuse my unemployment reason.

                    So kindly please help me and make an emi from december 2009 for Rs. 3000 only p.m.

                    This should be a lesson for every one who is trying to get a HSBC credit card.

                    I applied for a HSBC credit card in the year 2007. After few days i got a mail asking to pay
                    a minimum amount of 101 by the time i have not yet received the credit card.
                    I wrote to HSBC that i have not received the card. I also got a letter stating that the card
                    was not delivered an it was returned back undelivered and got destroyed by the HSBC.

                    But After two years i suddenly started getting a sms asking me to pay the due of 11, 000/-
                    There is no clue whether the card was again delivered or not or without delivering if HSBC is trying
                    to settle their other defaulted accounts by creating such bogus impression that the i have used
                    a card which i have not received in my hand and charging some amount and asking to pay a minimum
                    amount and some customer care person is asking me to sign a settlement letter in which it is
                    asking me to agree that i have used the card and i have defaulted the payment also when we
                    ask them to give the transaction history to know who and where they have used the card in
                    case if it would have been delivered the bank is refusing to give the transaction history.

                    HSBC Credit Card — Late Fine wrongly charged by HSBC Card

                    I am using HSBC Credit Card for the past 1.5 yrs and has always made payment on time. My due date every month is on 26th or 27th of every month. My payment of Rs 500 for the month of dec was done on 24th Dec 09 but as on 25th, 26th and 27th they had an holiday so the late fine has been added to my current month bill as the chq got cleared on 28th dec. I had called the customer service and spoke to Menakshi and she clearly infromed that i should have made payment a week before and the late fine cannot be revised as it has been correctly charged by the bank.
                    When bank says that they are giving a credit facility of 50days during this commitment they includes all the holidays including sundays, if the chq cannot be cleared on holiday that should not be my concern. Why they are calculating the due date which includes holiday?? If the bank cannot compensate these things than why should the customer be responsible for bank holidays.
                    It is a very clear message to the bank official that if the late fine is not reversed i will be forced to stop payment and you can keep on adding the late fine as much you want.
                    Pls look into the matter and revert.

                    H S B C bank — Interest wrongly charged

                    I have taken 2 balance transfer in Feb - March 2008 in life time scheme. but one balance transfer have closed and transfered in purchase in December 2008 and charged Interest 3.5% (Aprx) instead of 1%. I have booked many complaint over telephone their telhone / help line number. but not help me and I have worngly interest upto Feb 2010 and all balance transfer have closed. now HSBC bank generat new statment and stand Amount Rs. 72.00.

                    please give instruction to bank for refund excess intrest and closed balance amount of my statment and compension of hursment for none reply of my complaints over telephone and emails.

                      I Anuj Gangal was holding the HSBC CREDIT CARD No.[protected]. I have already asked them to close the card many times nearly 1.5yrs back, today if i try hsbc customer care number[protected] the phone is disconneted after i enter the credit card number. I never used this card but tll now i reciving statement by adding the annual fee with late payment with interest. Today as per hsbc my bill amount is nearly 11000.kindly help me for this
                      The same things has happened with me.

                      HSBC Credit card runs its business that way in India through fraud, threat & irregular practices.
                      They try to extract large amounts of money from people in middle class families with jobs, to generate work & money for their employees and grow their company in India.

                      As soon as Govt of India and RBI realise that they are harassing people they should be out of business.
                      You can either try to negotiate with them else write a complaint to RBI Ombudsman.

                        Hi, I have HSBC CC with no.[protected] and the card limit is 15k, during Full & final sittlement, I have made payment of 15k in two instalments as instructed by bank, but still the card is not closed and kept in black list, while i applying to any other CC, I am not getting the same.

                        I called to call center, but they did't have any details of the same and giving some other numbers which they did't have any details.

                        pls do the needful.

                          Dear Sir,

                          This is to bring to your notice that I am receiving calls from HSBC call centre regarding some payment done on 3rd July 08 of amount Rs. 5490/- to Discount Premium Club which to my shock is never done my me. I am completely unaware of this kind of transaction from my HSBC Credit Card. Even I have never received any Credit Card Bill at my E-mail I.D.

                          Please look into the matter as to what really happened as I have never swiped my card nor have I put any signature. As a matter of fact I have never used my credit card nor does the add-on card that I am holding in the name of my father.

                          This issue has disturbed me a lot and according to me such baseless instance is just unacceptable.

                            I am using the HSBC Credit card (CARD no: [protected]) services since several years . Every month I have remitted due amount before the due date. With reference to your statement for the October month, I have surprised to charge Rs.11533.75 (Rupees Eleven thousand Five hundred and thirty three and seventy five paisa only) .But I was purchased only For Rs. 285.45, and the balance amount full of late payment fee and service charges. In every month I repeated the same for wave off the other amounts. But till there are no response from your side. I am ready to pay only the amount I have purchased from Sree Annamar enterprises –cbt amt Rs. 285.45/-. But I am not willing to pay other amounts. Please stop this procedure for the coming months.

                            Please look into the matter and credit the amount Rs.11248.3 at the earliest and oblige. Also inform the actual due amount for Rs. 285.45, I have to clear the amount as early as possible.

                              I have received wrong billing statement of Rs 4420.74 on my free HSBC credit card which is already expired and my account cancelled.They have wrongly charged me Rs 505.42as Repayment PROTECTION Premium(Ihave not applied for any insurance on the card) + Rs 400(Late Payment charges) which has added up to Rs 4420.74.Ihave not made any purchases against this card.Please settle this matter once and for all.

                                My name is Sameer Nadkarni from Pune.My greviance is that i took an HSBC Gold Credit Card as a "Free" Card (Corporate Offer) from the HSBC people in my office-Fujitsu Consulting India Private Limited, Pune in May 2008.They promised me that it is a free card with no add on costs.Ialso have not applied for any insurance against this supposedly "free" credit card.I actually received the card at my home only in August 2008.The real problem-Till date i dont have the credit card pin no and i have not made a single purchase and transaction on this card as of yet.I also received the first credit card statement in four months in my office by post stating that my outstanding payment due against my credit card is 3, 839.75.Since, May 2008, the bank authorities have wrongly charged me Repayment protection premium of 505.62 and late payment charge of 400 every month which along with service taxes has now added to an amount of 4, 420.74.On top of this, my card facilities are suspended and the hsbc guys have sent me an intimation in the credit card statement that i have to pay this outstanding amount or else my account will be passed to an external collection agent.
                                I first took up this matter with the local HSBC Call Center:[protected] in Pune.They told me that the card is closed and the matter now rests with HSBC Collection center in Mumbai-022:66667070.I called up this collection center and the csutomer service rep told me that since i have not made any purchase on my card his supervisor/agent will waive of the wrong dues assigned to me and i will not have to pay a single rupee.He gave four local(pune) numbers:[protected]Wrong Number),[protected],[protected]They never pick up the phone or are always engaged),[protected]Again wrong number).The matter is not solved since one month.AI got my credit card statement with dues agian.I again called up HSBC Pune Call Center:[protected].Somehow, i managed to get a complaint registered with the customer service representative that my problem is not getting solved.she gave me request id and told that she has registered my complaint with collection agency whose phone number is[protected].REQUEST ID:[protected].Please help solve my problem and waive off my outstanding dues.I also want to close this card once and for all.

                                I am also facing the same problem.My card number was [protected]. They have lot of billing problems which I was continuesly follow up with them but they didn't solve that, in stead of that every month they added the interest over the wrong dues . Then I stopped the payment. After that they stopped sending bills also and after one month they sent the so called HSBC authorised person to my home to collect an amount for which he could not show any statement or bill or justification. I told the person that he need to give me a letter then I will pay the rest amount and destroy the bank's card. The person came with a funny letter and he said this is the same format they give to everybody for final settlement . My husband was so frustated in this matter for a long time, he made the full & final settlement to him on[protected] by a cheque payment. Still they have informed the credit reference agencies as my name as nonpayment of dues and it is creating lot of problems to get my educational loan from another bank as they are doing verification from credit reference agencies.
                                I need urgent help regrading this.

                                  Letter on behalf of my son Mr. Hitarth Desai, A/C NO.[protected] HSBC Bank.
                                  We deposited one cheque which was not cleared aftera week. When complained it was traced & credited after @20 days. Written complaint was done, but the reply is "AC No. not written", for which scaned copy of slip sent. Also telephone complaint & written complaint(claiming damages) with, the answer is same. Bank Not responding.All the letters and slip's scaned copy can be provided. Please help.

                                    one thing is dead sure that you people are not customer oriented and your employee(Kala and sweta from mumbai,[protected] and some more on bangalore they don't know how to speak and how to solve the query eventhough they are working for customer service.
                                    I had been given :these many numbers, but answer is and still i am not clear what to do : some numbers are not working and some numbers there is no answer and some numbers even the custimer is calling 100 times they are simply cutting the line as if they are playing and we are full by taking the card:
                                    I have closed the card due to inconvenience and falsa bills and promise and i sufferd a lot:
                                    My account got settled for 42310 rupees in 3 installments :I paid 2 check of 30000 and i have to pay 12310, the check got bounce, so can you please tell me being a gentelman, how much amount i need to pay if the check got bounce.
                                    And please in future tell your employee to behave like a gentleman and teach them how to behave with customres: otherwise after lehaman next will be HSBC and it would not be any surprise for us:

                                      I am a HSBC Credit Card holder. I often use to book Railway Tickets through i.r.c.t.c.

                                      Payment Transactions made by using HSBC Credit Card generally remain unsuccessful. These transactions are not generally authorised by any payment gateway.

                                      Phoneline (helpline) is not at all helpful. Their operators are not available to attend my calls.

                                      i have purchased a ticket to the HSBC credit card and i paid all the payment to the bank but now i receeived 4000 rs bill which i have to paid so what is this after payment what is this can help me out to my mail what is this.
                                      Can anyone really tell me how to book tickets on irctc thru HSBC classic card ?
                                      i have not booked any ticket on the[protected], but have booked on the[protected] and amount is 440rs.
                                      but the amount shown is 2063rs and booked on[protected] as said before.
                                      also i would like to know how do i find the items purchased and tickets booked by my hsbc credit via internet. plz respond as soon as possible.

                                        Dear Sir/Ma'am

                                        I have been facing the problem from last 18months, ever time after 2-3 months HSBC people calls me over phone to settle the cr. card account ( Cr Card no. [protected]) . the problem i have faced is, never have received the Statements in time . during my tenure with the bank ( Which i have discontinued since Sept. 2007.) every time requested over phone to send me the statement of account to make the payment. some time due short of time have made the payment as the figure of O/S given over the phone.
                                        Last statement in year 2007 I was not clear about my o/s amount, have reminder 3-4 time to send the details as i not sure about the expenditure they took 3month to send me the statement.
                                        On receipt of the statement I called the bank and ask for the late charges and Interest amount appearing on my statement As this was not due my fault and was Bank delay to send me the Statement Bank Staff confirmed over the phone that this amount is written off just make the Actual dues. .which is did so. in the Month Of Nov. 2007. After 6 month As normal Practice ai Got the Call from Bank to clear the dues which of 4K plus as cumulative interest over interest and late payment with S. tax. I explained them again the Sequence of Events, In reply they assured me that its banks fault and will be cleared.
                                        This episode was repeated 4-5 times and every time they confirmed me that will cleared soon.
                                        Now From Three days HSBC People Making Calls from[protected], 45023861 to settle the account ASAP, there Language is totally unprofessionally and not ready to check the books of accounts and putting pressure to clear ASAP.

                                        With whole sequence of events hope you can see that beside settling the dues of HSBC Cr. card Bank is Torturing me now.

                                        I need your help in the matter, requesting you to intervene in the matter ASAP.
