[Resolved]  IDBI Bank Home Loan — DELAY IN HOME LOAN PROCESSING AND UNNECESSARY MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

I opted for a loan from IDBI bank and applied on 13Jan10.

The bank was delaying my processing even after the fact that all my documents and relevant details were up-to-date.

My legal and technicals documents were received earlier by the bank. Everything was clear.

When the day came when I was promised disbursal, the officials at IDBI BANK RAC CENTRE at KANDIVALI(MUMBAI) made a mandatory statement to avail the IDBI FORTIS HOMESURANCE and BAJAJ ALLIANCE INSURANCE. Without which the bank was not disbursing my pay order.

According to the rule, a service can be offered but shall not be mandatory.

I have received the pay order but after so many disruptions.

IDBI FORTIS — Non payment of insured amount

My husband Late Shri Mahender Kmar, Poicy NO. [protected] ( claim no. 37) isnured by your company. With reference to your letter dated 15 June 2009, your company informed that the claim is under process. Today your agent informed that my claim was not rejected as my husband was expired due to illness. The reply of agent is not conveniencing. Sir Pleas help after the dealth of my husband every body has turned his face.

maharashtra bank — delay in service

dear sir,
i have account in maharashtra bank and i had applied for atm card in april 2009 and i got my atm card at 12-june-2009 but i did not received pin no. of atm card yet.i told about it to the branch manager.but he told me that he was not responsible at all.then i told about it to their card cell.they told me that they had sent it and i[censored] still did not get it then you should tell to the branch.then i went to the regional office.they told me that i should open a new account.
kindly tell me what should i do?i need atm card so much.but they are not giving it to me.the branch manager is very rude.
pls help me sir.i will be grateful to u.

IDBI — Loan

I have opted Educational loan from United western Bank which is acquired by IDBI in 2006.After acquistion I asked for loan statement IDBI unable to provide me the same till 2009.They forwarded my name in CBILL.Now I have repaid my all outstanding.Pl clet know how to check if my name is still reflecting in CBILL?
I opted for a loan from IDBI bank and applied on 5th Feb.10.

The bank was delaying my processing even after the fact that all my documents and relevant details were up-to-date.

My legal and technicals documents were received earlier by the bank. Everything was clear.

When i enquired regarding sanctioning of it they asked that the organisation in which you work is construction industry so we are not giving loan to those ones.

But my collegues are already taken loan from the same idbi bank then why this new rule for me only...Pls reply...

maharashtra bank — Delaying of ATM Card

My name is nilesh mudafale My account no is [protected] at Nagpur of mirchi bazar itwari i had lost my ATM card 6 month ago I have re apply for second time at that time. I have visited to bank for several time for atm card but no action was taken please take action as quickly as possible Thanks.
I opted for IDBI loan from Delhi Lajpat nagar branch. My loan a/c no is [protected]. Bank has sanctioned a loan of Rs 37 lac on 9% ROI. WHILE TAKING LOAN THE BANK REPRESETATIVE TOLD ME THAT WHEN YOU WILL RESTRICT YOUR LOAN THE roi SLAB WILL BE CHARGED AS THE AMOUNT YOU WILL RESTRICT. When I restricted my loan 15 days after sanction to Rs 17.94 lac bank has refused to reduce my ROI from 9% to 8.75% applicable for this slab.
Bank has not shown me any written rules inspite of repeated requests which justify the banks decision.
I want that bank should immediately reduce my intertest rate or show me the rule book.

I am facing the same dilemma as Mr. Jugal.
Is there a way to opt out of the HOMEINSURANCE thing to get the disbursal? The IDBI Agent seems to be claiming that it is "mandatory" and cant be opted out.

Also Jugal's last statement seems to say that he's finally managed to get the disbursement without opting for the insurance...
Please can you tell me how to get this done?

I was able to resolve my issues on the similar lines as Jugal. Had to do a little head-banging with their staff members and exachange a few hot-headed e-mails to get this resolved.
I now, dont have the Fortis Insurance attached to my loan.

IDBI FORTIS — excess payment

IDBI Bank — delay in services

I, Nisha Rani had requested for my account activation (in my net banking scheme) since 20 days, despite my efforts of chasing the officers of the Powai branch( where my account is held) there has been no progress for the same. Instead I have just been receiving the false promise of 24 hr activation for 3 times consecutively in a week. I would therefore request you to please take strict action for the same as it is causing me great inconvience.
when contacted the relationship manager, accounts opening officer and an officer named Chirag for the same they have simply failed to deliver what they said and I am really disappointed.Please help.

I opted for a loan from IDBI bank for Exotica Elegance Indirapuram society (Home loan account number [protected]) and applied on 1st week of April 2010.

The bank was delaying my processing even after the fact that all my documents and relevant details were up-to-date. My legal and technical documents were received earlier by the bank. Everything was clear.

I had filled up the Home loan form (50-60 signatures) firstly and then after 8-10 days came to know there was some cutting done by the bank in this form so the idbi agent again asked me to refill and sign that form, due to which there was a delay in loan processing..

At the last moment I got call from the official at IDBI BANK Delhi making a mandatory statement to avail the IDBI FORTIS HOMESURANCE. Without which the bank was not disbursing my pay order. Even though I agreed to take the insurance same day, still the builder received the amount well after the deadline, as a result he has imposed a late payment penalty on me...

Whatever documents were asked from me by the bank agent I gave him the same within 2-3 days but still the loan got late by 1.5 months..I kept on pushing the bank aganet for quickening by loan disbursement by he kept saying there is no problem...

I am trying to catch the IDBI bank executive Mukesh but no success...

I am planning to go to consumer court against IDBI bank..
Anyone gone through this issue please reply...

I have got IDBI top-up loan over my existing home loan, while taking top up loan at last stage the bank representative have told me that I must get the home loan Insurance, as I didn't know the bank rules so far and I was in great need of money I accepted the same an IMI of 1130 rs towards insurance has become additional to my top-up loan EMI... bank has not cleared these thing to me in time and kept me in dark and when there was delay and they understood my urgency I had to accept the same. later when I got the information form such forum and some more friends the insurance is something bank can offer but is not mandatory...When I approached to the bank so called manager he replied that now it is not possible to make any changes in the system as Insurance is already added...Due to this I have to pay Rs.1130 every month unnecessarily...

can anybody tell me, How I can get rid of this IDBI bank insurance nonsense...

I already applied to register my adhar no. online but after 5 days i got a msg frm idbi that u r procedure is canceled n pls contact nearest idbi branch. then wats d meaning of online linking
can u tel me now what can i do..
