On 1st July '13 I received a message on my mobile ([protected]) asking me to submit documents for verification and I submitted all required documents alongwith a photo the very next day. Suddenly on 11th Sept'13 service was disconnected abruptly without any advance notice. When I tried to make a call a recorded message "your service is disconnected for want of necessary documents" received. Approached local Idea office (Visakhapatnam) and gave all the documents. I was assured that the connection will be restored within 24 hours which was not done. Later on enquiry I was informed that my number was churned out of the system for not using the phone which was not correct since I have call register to prove (for both incoming & out going calls). Further I was informed that all information/history related to my number which was in use for over 10 years has been deleted completely. As per TRAI (Telecom Regulatory Authority of India) regulations SIM card which was not in use for over 90 Days only is supposed to be churned out of system. Staff concerned in Vizag office and Customer Care are giving adamant answers and advising to go ahead with legal action against the Company. Please help me to resolve this issue and get proper compensation for the hardship/mental agony and inconvenience I was subjected to do by this drastic measures taken by Idea Cellular Company

    Hallo I have so far got 2 messages one on 30-Aug-2013 and the other on 12-Sept-2013 from my mobile service provider Idea-MH saying that I have downloaded the IZ-idea CMS and they have deducted Rs. 30 on each occasion. (Fun_zone and Combo-Dhamaka from Symbolic). Also there was nothing downloaded too. To be honest I do not even know what this is and I really want them to revert if they have charged me unnecessarily.       Dear Sir This is to inform you that, in the telecom field IDEA cellular is the worst service provider, its aim is not to provide service its costumer, I am using the number [protected] since last 10+ years, how ever they have deactivated my mobile.since last two months, Instead of several follow ups with customer care & in web site, I am not getting my number activated, for which I lost 10 lacs in my business, Now I am requesting to look into this matter and I need my business loss from IDEA Cellular.         We Nazeer Communications (Distributor for IDEA Cellular Pre Paid & Net setter) company change the distributorship on 18-th April / 2013 to other party without and information. E Mails to the concern department and officials we are not been considered for our settlement claims & Deposit. I would request you to kindly do the needful in this in high Priority to settle our Claims & Deposits as its Almost 5 Months Please provide as much information as possible...

          Hi, I was charged Rs 30 for from my account balance for " Fashion_Zone from SYMBIOTIC" i have not initiated this request although i was charged for it on 10/09/2013 i faced this problem last time on 01/06/2013 and 30 rs was deducted from my account. Calling the customer care never helps so i am posting my complaint here. i want my money refund as these are spams from Idea and this needs to stop!

          i dont want to waste my time calling your customer care because
          1) They cant communicate
          2) They cant help
          3) They are rude
          4) You are cunning that you deducted my account balance without my mistake.

          My issue has not been resolved yet and Idea customer called me and stated that i have downloaded some files for which i have been charged.
          but i have not downloaded anything and my 3g internet pack is on for free 3GB data.

          the screenshot of the message CLEARLY shows that IDEA activated some random pack and charged me for it.

          This is absolute cheating and i want resolution on this.

            I was having 1 Rs balance, i started using internet after some time they deducted that one rupee, now balance is zero, time 20:50, 10/09/2013. then i recharged with Rs 150 talk time @21:12 and after 5 minutes recharged with Rs 126 internet plan having 1GB data @21:17. I started using internet, within half an hour they deducted from my main balance Rs 150 instantly.

              Hi Idea Cellular, After repeated complaints, I have noticed that the incorrect deductions made to my number are still there. Also, now whenever I restart my phone, I receive a message from[protected] every time and a deduction of Rs.5 is made for the message I receive. Since I noticed it recently I have observed that in my previous bill I have made a payment for Rs.140 for the same. Whenever I call your helpline, they disconnect my call after hearing the situation. I will not pay any money for the incorrect deductions you have made. Also, if I receive no response from Idea in next 24 hours, I will file a charge sheet and case in consumer court for the same. You will be responsible for all the expenses made in the process. Also, you will be liable for all the harassment I have faced as customer of Idea. Regards, Kanika

              The usage is incorrect. How can you charge a customer for messages he/she has recieved and not sent. I do not accept your reply. Without investigating the matter you are arguing unneccesarily. 

              I will not make the bill payment for the incorrect charges made on my number. Also, treat this as a notice for incorrect deductions made by IDEA Cellular. I have used other sim in my phone and all are working correctly except IDEA. I will be visiting your service center this weekend to show the same.

              I am highly disappointed with your services and do not accept this case as closed.

                Hi, I was using Idea post paid connection from July'13 in the Ahmedabad, Gujarat circle. My plan was 399.00 PM included (90000 free local/STD seconds, 100 SMS Local/ national and 1GB - 2G data free for every month). My last bill generated with the total amount of Rs 760.00 (with all a/c +/- settlement ) also my credit limit exceeded from 750 to 1400. Please tell me if a company will offer some plans, in which your credit limit were exceeded and by the months end after paying your total bill amount they will stop your incoming/ outgoing calls, what will be your reaction? We have to used offered facilities that's why we choose your network, and the credit limit will proportionate towards your bill plan and your uses. Bill generation depends as per call charges accordingly credit limit will increased, and after bill generate according to the plan they settle the total amount. So why we are paying to increase limit which is related with the plan that we op't. Boss exceeding credit limit also included with your plan that's why we op't your services, and according to your offer we will avail services, so their is no point to pay the increase credit limit. For example: My Old credit limit : Rs 500.00 at the time i purchase number My monthly avail service cost : Rs 1000.00, and credit limit increase : Rs 1500.00 After consider the particular offer rates cost are : Rs 600.00 & credit limit : Rs 1500.00 Billed Amount : Rs 600.00 Please resolve my problem ASAP because every 2-3 day they stop my services. - Anshul

                  I went to take a prepaid conection. The 1st responce was prepaid will take 4days to activate due to trai regualations and postpaid 1 single day.. But i said 4days is ok and opted for prepaid. She took the new sim from store and kept me waiting and waiting doing unnecesary things. Long enough to make any person leave the premises due to her disrespect. With a comment also company needs postpaid customer to survive not prepaid. Then I went to BSNL, and to my surprice the dealings was profesional and caring..

                        On August 4th, 2013 I got a bill from IDEA of Rs 3984. I was charged over Rs 3500 for GPRS usage (apart from rental). It was a mistake on IDEA because they didnot send me correct alert of data usage and I was wrongly charged. After discussing with IDEA we agreed that I would make a payment of Rs 745 (excluding GPRS) & activate Rs 299 5GB data plan. I got a written confirmation from IDEA about this. But even after making payment of Rs 745 on August 28th, 2013 IDEA has disconnected my services and backout on its commitment. I have dropped 3-4 mails to IDEA but have not listened anything from them. Request you to please get this resolved and help me disconnect my IDEA connection at the earliest.

                          HI SIR / MADAM I HAVE IDEA PREPAID MOBILE NO.[protected] ON 29TH AND30TH AUGUST M2013. I HAVE GOT MESSAGE FROM COMPANY THAT " YOUR NUMBER IS SELECTED FOR RECHARGE OF RS.123 AND GET 1 GB ,3G DATA FOR 30 DAYS ON 31ST AUGUST,2013 I WAS RECHARGED OF RS.123 ,BUT HEY GAVE ME ONLY 375 MB ,3G DATA FOR 30 DAYS. I WAS CONTACT COSTUMER CARE , THEY REPLIED THAT THIS BENIFIT YOU CAN USE ONLY ONE TIME .BUT IN MESSAGE NO CLEARIFICATION OF IT. I WAS USED THIS RECHGARGE ON 19 TH AUGUST ,2013 SO WHY THEY SENT ME MESSAGE AGAIN ON 29TH AND 30TH AUGUST,2013 ? SO PLEASE GIVE ME REFUND OR 1 GB ,3G DATA PLEASE DO SOMETHING, OTHER WISE I MUST USE PORTABILITY AND WILL CHANGE COMPANY THANKS......

                          on 4 th august 2013 they call me from idea and they said that you got message because of technical mistake so you can't get 1 GB. i think this is not proper solution. company made mistake so why should i pay money ?if company had technical mistake, so company pay money...cheating is continue...not seticfied..

                            On 30.08.2013 Idea deducted Rs.30 from my balance on account of some video supposed to have been downloaded by me. On complaint to their Customer Care they replied:- "We would like to inform you that as per the careful scrutiny of our records, the deduction on your mobile is found to be correct. There has been data downloaded from your Idea mobile dated August 30, 2013 at 03:19:22 PM. We wish to inform you that downloading charges are as per the content download. We are unable to provide any reversal for same." This is a completely bogus reply because:- - How could I have downloaded any data at 03:19:22 PM when the actual download link by Idea was sent to me only at 03:21 PM? I have never downloaded any data at 03:19 PM, 03:21 PM or any time thereafter. - If it is still claimed that I did use the download link, they should tell me the time for that. - When I clicked the "vuclip" (at or before 03:19 PM), why Idea did not inform that it was a paid service? - It is a clear-cut fraud and Internet is full of similar complaints from a large number of other customers of Idea. An appeal to their Appellate Authority brought no response. I seek your help in getting the refund of Rs.30. (Dr D C Singh)

                              Dear sir I have a idea post paid connection with the number [protected]. I have been getting a GPRS usage bill against this number. Last month i had paid Rs.156/- extra and this month it is almost double. I am hardly using the mobile for calls and the charges for those call are in limt of Rs.160-180 per month so i used to pay that much. But since last month i am getting a GPRS bill which really a nightmare. Because the use is few kbs hrly. Means 18 July say 22.40 2kb then after one hour 5 kb.... in this fashion. My handset is basic model of Micromax and not high end one. I am not all touching the browser application. SO this month i asked the Custom care for my surprise they say, i have a zero rental GPRS plan.It is a default plan but i dont have opted for any of that. So the rental is zero but i being charged against the per kb usage. I need the browsing history detail and i will not pay for this months bill as it is too much

                              Thanks for your efforts.
                              Still two questions:
                              Have i asked for the GPRS connectivity while i was taking the card?
                              How are the GPRS instances every hour few kbs? Do you feel i am not at all sleeping and playing with the mobile?
                              I need the browsing details complete history i require,
                              I had contacted the help line several times, they are giving same answer that you have pasted above.
                              They had said they cannot provide the browsing history as it does not come into their perview.
                              I will not pay current bill if my queries are not answered properly.

                                this company is cheating people through their messages. recently I checked my balance using *212# and with the account information I received an information stating that on recharge of 22 you will get 100 MB 3g data. I recharged my account with 22 and I got 50 national calls which are of no use. the company is still forwarding the same message. kindly look into the matter.

                                  I have purchased Idea 3G Net Setter Dongle from Idea Gallery , Gokul Township Virar (West) .Mr Sachin ,their service engineer promised me that I will get a speed of 2 Mbps in my area [Suman Complex Virar(West)].My Sim Card # is [protected]. The problem is I am not getting 3G network in my area. I am getting 2G / GSM Network only and the speed is about 60 to 200 Kbps only.Even when I get Idea 3G network and connect , it says "No Service" .I have placed many complaints with Idea Gallery Virar as well as Idea Customer Care . But even after 15 days no body has come to rectify the problem. .They are refusing to refund the amount of Rs 1600/- paid by me for the Dongle saying 3G services are available in my area ,which is not true.They have even generated a bill for 3G usage for 15 days without bothering to check about my complaint and without providing 3G services. Their Customer Care gives many dates for action on my complaints. but fails to do so every time.The Idea Gallery Virar(West) also do not bother to check whether my complaint is true or not.Please look into the matter.My contact # [protected]

                                  I had purchased Idea 3G Netsetter Dongle for Rs 1600/-on 5/8/13 from Idea Cellular Gallery in Virar(West). The Simcard Number is [protected] and my A/C number is[protected]. I was promised a download speed of 2Mbps.The activation was done on 8/8/13.Since the day one I faced slow download problem (20 Kbps). I immediately informed Idea Gallery people as well as Idea Cellular Customer Care about the slow download speed.They promised to set it right in three days.But nobody from their side turned up.I started following this at a regular interval of 3 to 4 days .But the problem was not tackled .I paid first month bill of Rs 309/- thinking they will correct the problem in few days.But when the problem continued and Idea Cellular continued to give me new dates mechanically without making any efforts to solve it, I stopped paying their bill for next month .Now they have sent me a conciliation notice through their advocate for an inflated bill of Rs 2376/- including interest etc.I was not able to use their services as the download speed is very poor still they continued to charge me per month Rs 730/- approximately.The Idea Cellular is not providing satisfactory service but all the time harassing the gullible customers .They have not started 3G services in many towns but still go on selling 3G Dongles on false promise. They are themselves " Ullu Banaaving " customers. I want withdrawal of this falsely raised bill of Rs 2376/- and refund of Rs 1600/- paid by me for the 3G Netsetter Dongle and refund of Rs 309/- Bill payment made by me for the first month.My Cell Number : [protected]

                                    Sir Ji, My self Balkishan,[protected]. My compaint is for Value added services. Idea has applied some video service from last 4-5 month for which my prepaid balance get deducted every 15 days(rs 50.). Every time i request for disabling VAS they apply new service without informing me. I am tired of this.I shifted from aircel to Idea due to VAS problem in aircel . But idea is also have same problem of automatic deduction in balance. I want suitable compensation refund of all deduction for this harrasment.Please............. Thanks, Balkishan

                                      I am using Idea postpaid services for last one and half year and this is the worst service they can provide to an old customer. I bought Nokia Lumia 720 on 26 August 2013 and i am also facing the same issue of non activation of free 3G services on my handset.The executives sitting in my idea counter in AUNDH PUNE are not aware about the service only.Even after calling and requesting the customer care executives (technical support) a dozen times nothing has happened.Idea customer care service charges 50 paisa for 3 minutes and still nothing has been done to resolve the issue.The executives are poorly trained with no product knowledge,no technical knowledge and no authority and they are just sitting to pass whatever the customer is speaking.Every now and then they put you on hold searching for information and keep increasing your frustration and your bill.There is no concept of WRAP UP TIME of a call.I would like to complaint against the service provider Idea and Handset provider Nokia not to ensure that the customer is getting the benefits due to him in time and causing a lot of harassment.

                                        SIR, I HAVE AN IDEA POSTPAID CONNECTION.FROM THE TIME I ACTIVATED MY NO.IDEA COMPANY ALWAYS SEND ME WRONG BILLING ..THEN I CALL 198 AFTER MANY ARGUEMENTS THEY REGISTER A COMPLAINT AND AFTER 25-30 DAYS THE I SEE THAT THE COMPLAINT IS NOT RESOLVED..THIS MONTH I ALSO RECEIVED WRONG BILLING AMOUNT I HAVE CONTACTED TO 198 EXECUTIVES THEY SAID THAT THEY CANT LODGE THE COMPLAINT BECAUSE THE PREVIOUS COMPLAINT WAS TILL IN PROCESS..THIS HAPPENS ALWAYS.IDEA IS CHEAP MOBILE OPERATOR..PLEASE SIR MAKE SOME JUDGEMENT ON THIS..AS I CALL WITH MR.SHALENDRA GOYAL (SENIOR) BUT HE ALSO CANT RESOLVE MY PROBLEM.IDEA IS THE WORST MOBILE OPERATOR..
