I've never seen such Fraud in Telecom Industry. Idea Cellular is one the WORST and FRAUD telecom service provider in India.

I've bought a new Idea prepaid card from My Idea show room (inform of Rajeev Tower, OP Road). My sim card not activated since 1week, when I met their customer care executive, they told me that "your sim won't activate because you used max simcard with same id proof" (very rudely). But their Senior manager told me to wait for 2-3 days for any solution. When I go there after 3 days, they told me Its not possible. So I requested him to refund my money & ID proof and take your sim card. But neither they refund me nor give me my id proof.

Request You IDEA Cellular, If you can't provide me service, please refund my money with my ID proof. Because I know You can misuse my ID Proof anytime.

If anyone can help me in this I'll be thankful.

Idea Cellular — fraudulent activity

Hi All

Complaint is as follows:

Amount of Rs 600 was given for new connection of Idea on 25-10-08 to Agent - Aditya from the franchisee Idea Shopee, 134 Najabgarh road, Nangloi.

Acknowledgemt was also given by him.( Sim No. -[protected])

Nearly two months have been crossed, and there is no activation of sim number. When i approached Pitam Pura Idea Showroom regarding this, concerned person simply answered that i cannot do anything beside registring your complaint. No action was taken after that.

Further, when i called owner of shop, Mr Manoj, then again he said that he doesn't know anyone like aditya and he can solve this matter if we will send copy of required documents.


Now, i want a clarification that is this the customer service they are giving to us. Also i want my money back with the compensation

my letter to customer care .. came with reply that there was no problem.

my intension was not to get the difference balance around 65paisa. but the customer care people say and agree that there was some error that my plan was gprs13 but along with it gprs of zero rental plan also activating at the same time.

hi. i am a customer of idea mobile. i would like to request you that after registering two complaints there was no fair action taken place with regarding to my extra deduction from the idea prepaid account . (i personally request plead download all 3 attached conversations done while taking complaints which prove that i am 100% sure and problem exists in the idea system[protected] i was having Rs 145.14 and till date i was only using Rs13 idea gprs13 package and in between i have only used a single call of Rs 1. Now on[protected] at 1.19pm the balance is. Rs 26.59 . as per in actual the account totals should be Rs27.14 a prepaid balance. I would like to request please play the recording audio files attached with this email. To find the behaviour reponse of customer care of idea people. The two complaints 65352060 and 65688195 both were taken with realisation of errors occured due to idea system side problem. But till date customer care people confidently trying to overdemand that there was no fault or no extra deduction done with my billing. I feel i will get back your replies very soon.

IDEA HAS INTRODUCED RS 31 TOP UP FOR WHICH STD CHARGES WOULD RE.1 PER CALL.
I HAVE RECHARGED FOR RS.31ON 04/06/2009(09:25:20PM). But they are continuously charging Rs 1.50 inspite of collecting money from me FOR THE OFFER. Their customer care is always busy and after many trials/ many calls i spoke to their customr care executives on 06/06/2009 almost three times and yet they continue to charge me Rs. 1.50.I faced the same problem last month and After many requests they executed the offer and they dont refund the money charged extra after subscribing for the offer and the number of days of the offer are neither increased. I request the idea management and DOT to make sure that customer like me should not be cheated and make false offers. I request you to take proper action and refund the extra amount charged on the calls after subscribing to the offer since the month of May.

This is to make a complaint against, idea cellular, as they have done a fraud, with me.i have a postpaid number and on that number a pack of rupees29 is activated, by which my idea to idea call rate is 10paise/minute..but at some places they have charged 75p/minute.and i asked them for a waiver.so they only gave me the waiver of the amount mis calculated.then i asked then a waiver for consumer inharisment.they rejectedmy request.can i sue them for this, coz if they r cheating the customer who has a detailed billing.so rest jinme nahe hote hai unko bhe cheat karte honge... i want a solution i wana show idea cellular they r cheating there customer.

Idea telecom — harssment in issuing number

Six days back i applied for an add-on connection from Idea, as I have already been using Idea connection, all verifications had been done when i got my first connection. Now when i applied for the addon connection, i submitted the documents again and i was assured that the number will be activated within 24 hrs. But even after 5 days it has not been activated and today they are saying that salary slip is missing from the documents so they can not activate the number.

Now that I have waited for the connection for 5 days, i dont know what should i do. I have wasted about 5 hrs of my precious time to call customer care.
Now i am out of station, so i can not even go back to show room and submit the document.
I have faced a lot of dis-appointment and harassment from Idea. The simple thing should have been done that number should have been activated and given some 7 days of time to submit the document.

Idea telecom — Fraud and worst service provider

IDEA.. The worst and fraud company that i have ever seen i am using the SIM of Idea with the number of[protected] was called to UK number even though the mobile was lying beside me switched off, currency of Rs 9.19 deducted, other than this i have faced some other problems like simply activating the some schemes without our permission and deducting money once for a month . when we asked by calling customer care they tell us that we activated these kind of schemes and all. Now those idea people are also charging money, when we call to customer care..
respected sir, kindly give justice to us and give a right warning or else just close the bloody idea telecoms services.

Idea telecom — To Deactivate my no. 9009990780 with out intimate me.

I am using Idea no which [protected] it was postpaid number earlier i have put request to Idea out let at MG road Indore to Post Paid to Prepaid.
after submitting all payment and document my connection was tern into prepaid . after 20 days i came to know that my no is not in work. Then i went to same place to know That what's reason behind it. i got replied that one of employ left company and he lost all document. so i have to submit document to restart. I had submitted document to same place then my number was working for day 1 or 2 then number was deactivated. once again i had followed same process i came to know that number is permanently deactivated and issued in market for new number...

1. Without intimate me how could you Deactivate number.


2. when we convert connection from Postpaid to Prepaid. it compulsory one has to Clear all payment and submit All document

3. I was using this number and it is distributed in market and it is impotent for me

I am not getting any solution from Idea

Idea Cellular — Fraud

I have received a text message from IDEA Cellular regarding "free text message offer" on May 27th, 2012. As per the message, I was offered to send daily 100(local+national) messages for 10 days. As per the offer, I was able to send message without any charge till 28th evening, but on 28th night when I have sent the message, I was charged as per the regular text messages charge even I haven't sent more than 30-40 messages since the starting day of the offer.

When I have called to customer care on May 28t and 29, they answered that offer is closed(for which IDEA Cellular has not informed me in either way by text message or call) and that's why I was charged as per the regular text message charge. But as per the message which I have received from IDEA Cellular, I can send daily 100 free messages till 10 days stating from May 27th.

When I have asked customer care executive to refund my wrongly deducted balance, they have replied that it is not possible as offer is closed. But as per the message which I have received on May 27th, 2012, still I can send daily 100 free message as I am not informed by IDEA Cellular about the closing of the offer as they have informed me about availability of the offer.

I have attached the screenshot of message which I have receiver from IDEA Cellular.

I request you to do the needful to stop such kind of fraud from the telecom company.

    mere paas idea ka no [protected] hai 4 sal se hai idea walo ko kuch nahi ata mere naber par se zambia [protected] is par call hi nahi hota 24 dino se me fariyad kar raha hu laikin gadhe aajkai aajkal kiya karte hai ab muje chalu nahi hoga to mnp karna padega
    :&Recently I wanted to change my postpaid connection in to the prepaid connection.......
    After so many descution , they convert the connection in to prepaid... at that time I have submitted all the documents what they want at JAY BHAGWATI MARKETING, AHMEDABAD @ Idea Shop.

    After 5 days they baned the service, according to them we have not submitted documents , when we have already submitted before 3 days ago. At that day I go to Jay bhagwati Idea Shop , and they gave fault in Signature but actually all is correct , and that whole day my mobile was baned and i got loss in my business. After all correction they told me now your mobile document all are correct and mobile network will be provided within 2 hr.

    Again after 3 days of resubmitting the documents they baned their network and when I go to JAY BHAGWATI MARKETING- My Idea Shop, they told me your document is not received by our server, but actually i have given all correct document before 3 days, and they told that we are not responsible this. After this I call at customer care, even there the authority told me that" wee can't do anything , you have to go at the place where you have submitted the document''. So, at the date 27 , 28 and 29 my mobile is banned in their network , due to their controversy and nobody want to take responsibility against my mobile service.

    During these days I get loss in my business and get lots of hurdles.
    It is my humble request to take steps against JAY BHAGWATII MARKETING<MY IDEA SHOP>,Anandnagar, Ahmedabad-380052,Gujarat.

    Every month they deduct you blance for any service without infroming u..and never give it back to u even after a complain,
    ok ANd the company promotional call, they use to calll a customer near about 30-40 times in a single day and same number of sms they send u...
    So, ITs worst company i ever seen..

    Idea — bad service

    i had a idea prepaid no [protected]on the name of sachin slathia s/o c.s slathia, h.no 416 sec f sainik colony jammu.i sumbitted my prepaid sim on 18.4.11 to convert it into postpaid. but no response is recieved from IDEA company. i called the concern person as well higher authorities but no feedback will be provided to me. i also send email to their concern departments but no feedback recieved. so i decided to complaint regarding bad services provided to me.

      I am talk 27.07.2013 on 5.19pm to u r customer care to SMS pack Information to ask sms pack 1 month 1000sms then to me 79rs after use easy recharge but not for sms pack. after the i am again call to customer care service then talk to me this plain is change for today.



      then i call to IDEA complain no 198 then my call recive the senior executive service me kailash the person who attend me does not register my complain so please do something against this company for this type behavior.

      I am highly disappointed your behavior.

      Idea Cellular — Wrong information provided and charging unethically.a

      I requested idea to change my dialer tone and activate Kabhi Kabhi Aditi from film Jane tu ya jane na. I even got several message from the service provider regarding the same from 554561 calling on which is at 6.99 Rs/min.I called on the no and was charged Rs 20 for 3 mins and was not even able to set the tone.After that i called Idea on 12/06/2008 at 02.00 pm for activating the tone, I was told that tone would be activated in 24 hrs but till date it has not been activated.When i contacted idea for this i was told that they do not have this tone this means they are misguidind their customers by messaging them that they have this dialer tone and are earning money in unethical way.ALso, i was told that i f i call thier customer care more than 2 times a day my outgoing call would be barred.plz look into the matter urgently since idea has provided this msg to many and earn lot of money by providing wrong information.

      I am currently using a prepaid mobile phone of Idea cellular. Since last two months, i am not able to call on customer care no. i.e 12345. There is always one message is i.e." YOUR CALL CAN NOT BE COMPLETED, DUE TO CONGESTION PROBLEM IN DIAL NETWORK".
      But in case of other customer or my friends which is also user of idea cellular, there is no CONGESTION problem. I am also register complains for this problem in customer care of idea cellular with the help of my friend's mobile phone.But there is no response of my complaint.

      My resent complaint which i was registered on[protected] at 08:35 pm and my coplaint no. is 82657220.

      Pls. give me suggestion or to sove my problem as soon as possible.

ON 16-07-09 WHEN I TRIED TO MAKE A CALL [ STD] FROM MY IDEA NO. I FOUND THAT MY CASH BALANCE IS GONE ZERO, I CALLED MANY TIMES TO IDEA CUSTOMER SERVICE, BUT THEIR REPRESENTATIVE COULDNOT ANSWER HOW WAS IT, BECAUSE THEY HAVE NO RECORD ON COMPUTER OF ANY CALL.       i having idea wireless net connection, which is creating a lot of problems, many time it becomes disconnected without any reason, when i try to connect it, it shows error no.619A which is beyond my capacity to understant, the worst part of this service is the slow network problem, some time it takes 2 hours to attach a file with a mail. how can i get rid of this problem? when i try to contect the custmor care center they give no response, i only hear their advertisement song 'walk n talk' . i dont know how to reach my problem to the company, can any body help me??

      I have been having a prepaid mobile number[protected] I am trying to locate Do not Disturb web site of Idea Cellular when ever I trying going on the web site it shows cannot disply web page no body is interested in the BSE pls do stop sending sms
      Anyone trying to get a response from the CUSTOMER CARE is difficult, first of all you would wear off trying to locate customer care, and if you are lucky enough the officer is not going to give you a solution to your problem, b'coz he is one of the call centre executives. He would fwd your complaint to IDEA, and getting a call from them, next to impossible. It costs money baba.

      I would like to know how to get a Customer Care? I bet if anyone can guide without sitting on the cel and trying various combinations to lodge a complaint.

      I must appreciate your patience, because while lodging a complaint if your signal drops, you dial the 2nd time, it again drops you dial the 3rd time. The executives wont call you " Sir you were talking to me" proceed with your complaint.

      I had 2 post-paid connections of idea for more than 2 yrs....then i converted it into pre-paid after submitting all documents...but i am not able to either receive or dial any calls from my phone...people at idea customer care say it would start in 2 hrs every time but it hasn't started yet.....it did start working twice but then within 24 hrs service was again unavailable.......it has been more then 15 days or so but i havent received any satisfactory response from idea...they say that they have entered request and it'll start but it hasn't.....now they aren't even receiving my calls......i cant even dial at idea call centre from my phone...

      I am using Idea Prepaid connection since last 4 yrs... but when calling customer care and getting charged.. nobody bothers to solve queries...       My idea number was given to me by dealer at low calling rates now my rates without intimation r changed,moreover inspite of rectifying my problem IDEA z troubling me for no sense...

      IDEA MOBILE — wrong information

      I was sent a message reg. a recharge of Rs.24/- and the call tariff would be changed to idea - idea 40ps. other mob - 40ps. land line 50 - ps. To reconfirm the same to make the message clear that there is no hidden information in the message I called the idea customer care. The same message was repeated to me and I even asked them clearly on the same and they said yes it will be activated imm. I recharged for Rs.24/- and my call charge remained the same as my old tariff. When I called the customer care again I was told the system is slow it will take sometime call after 1 hr. even then nobody told me about anything. I called 2 hrs later to confirm whether I plan had changed they said it has changed. The next day I made a call and my charges was the old tariff. when I called customer care again only then they are saying it is not applicable to Bangalore it is only applicable to some other towns which can't be mentioned in the message. I asked them then when I called they should have told me this I would have recharged as it is of no use to me. The customer service staff along with the floor supervisor are very rude and are not willing to take any responsibility. They have to be taken to task for wrong / incorrect information given and not attending to customers problems / issue.

      I am haiving mobile connection of IDEA from last two years under my gang.I having two number my self and my wife.on 7th march validity of my connection is over and my out going and incoming was stoped so i contacted idea help line and asked about rechareged option to continue my gang skim so call centre person asked to rechared of 92 rupess to continue the benefit of my gang,as per instrucation i have recharge both no [protected] and [protected].with 92 rupees but completing 1 day also my mobile out going facility not stared so i contacted again call cantre number that is[protected] and asked the status,The call centre person inform me after rechare of 92 your plan tranfer in to regular plan of idea for my gang you was suppose to recharge of 95 rupees. if you want to benitfit of my gang you need to recharge again 91 rupees + 95 rupees each.i have told call centre person i have recharge of 92 rupees only because your employees advice what is my mistak in this ?? and why should i pay extra 180 rupees each number.but call certer person refused to take my compliant asked to contact 198 number.when tried 198 number they asked to contact again 12345 when again contcated 12345 they said your haing prepaid connecion you need to contcant on 4444 number when conatcted on 4444 they again said you need to call 198 only today morning(10.03.10) i finally called up on and asked about soluation.but still i have not received soluation from idea their senior person MR. Vishal confirm that idea call centre employee only asked to recharged of 92 rupees because of all problem arise and they have not accepted my compalint and advice to take new card or recharge of 90 rupees more to continue my number in regular plan.

      i m nishit gandhi, sir i had asked for uk calling card..... low rate to call to uk... they said me to recharge of 21 u will get calls to uk at 2 rs per min.... but i had recharged on 24 april 2010. i had called to uk on 26 april at 5:35pm.. it cost me nearly 10 rs per min it was dedected around 36 rs.........after tht i had complaint to customer care abt it...... they said me records are not updated........second time they told me ur 21 schm is activated today at 8 pm on 26th . after tht the person told me i have note a complain our supervisor will give u feed back call...after tht at 1:00 am on 27 april i called to recheck wheather the complain is made or not.. thay told me it is not...... thn they told 21 recharge is for usa not for uk.......... in this whole procees.... how many were right or wrong i m totally confused......... n they r all cheaters i feel........... n please can u help me to gain my amt back........... my num is [protected]. because i said to the customer care tht how would i come to know abt 21 voucher.......if it is not for uk. sir i want my both refund balance of 21 recharge/ n my balance deducted.
      I am a prepaid customer since 2005, I got a service message (offer ) . To clarify that I made a call to your customer care number, today, August 7 2010 at 1.05 pm. I am not satisfied with your customer care agent’s response. He was just irritating me with his answer, he told me to watch the message. I called the customer are to know what is the meaning of the message, once I did not understand the message. You are charging on the customer care call and if am not getting the correct answer then what is the use of it. If this is the case going to happen then it will be better to discontinue with your service.

      I was active on a Idea gprs wap service called Simply enjoy 3 months ago, i wanted to switch to another plan, so i asked Customer care, whether i had to deactivate the old service to activate the new gprs service or just activate the new plan, the answer he gave me was " No need to deactivate the old service(Simply enjoy), the new plan(26 plan) will override the old service, so i did what he said. I'm facing the cosequences now, the have deducting Charges from my account for old plan and also the new plan, i'm disgusted with idea's sevice...:(((

        I am using idea sim from many years, i found some defects but it dont affect my patience but now bluddy idea is touched my patienace and
        made me to angry. the reason is that i have recharged 199rs 2g unlimited plan to my U.P. East idea mobile number [protected]
        and it is activated, the proof is i am recharged it online on july 13 2013 in freecharge.com its Order Id: FCVW[protected] in this you can check it whether it is recharged or not.
        But after some days i think on 20th july 2013 (i dont know exact date) i recharged 26rs 3G 100mb plan of 3days validity because i have some work so
        i want 3g speed then after 3 days when 3g validity has ended i started to use my 2g plan that i recharged 199rs it is connected but
        it is deducting money in my main balance am shocked and am call to customer care and asked about this issue but the representatives are not good
        they dont know how to behave with the customers and how to resolve this problem they told to call me after 6 hours and after that i called again after 1 day
        then they told that it is not activated in your number now am shocked and bacame angry too check the details i used these days it has 30 days validity how it
        is not activated i asked for them, but they telling only one thing it is not activated it is not activated. so i cutted the call and call to customer care again
        and asked then they telling the same thing, till now i called 10-15 times to customer care and asking but they are not responding properly and they did fraud
        thing with me. i lost the money am very depressed and crying now am so poor and they did like this to me bad idea operator and i decided to never activate any
        internet pack to idea numbers. now i remember to place complaint on them on behalf of this problem and i placed many complaint on your website, all are resolved
        by your kind care, i trusted you very much that you will solve my problem on this 2g unlimited plan is not activated now.. and please sir or madam take serious
        action on them and made bluddy idea operator to resolve this problem.. I will be so thankful to you if you do this big help to activate 2g unlimited plan for me that i recharged...

        business — gprs

        i have talk to couctomer care on121 for activation of gprs.but till know 2 days have gone no settings has been send by airtel.

        Idea — IDEA is doing fraud with Customers

        IDEA has started cricket update sms service on my phone even though I haven't 'mistakenly' told them to do it OR by accepting such kind of request.
        I lost Rs 20 in 2 days ..!!!
        Such thing happened 3rd time..
        When I call to IDEA's Customer Care center, every time they told me that you have pressed button mistakenly to start service and also refused to pay back.
        If we consider that IDEA did this with 1 lac customers all over India.. that means they did fraud of Rs 20 Lacs at least ..!!!

        So I finally decided to stop service of IDEA forever.. I think all of those who have gone through such situation should stop IDEA's service as early as possible to teach them a lesson.

          This is with deepest regret that I write to you today. I have been in the service industry since 8 years and never experienced this kind of pathetic, un-customer friendly and sick customer service like I had today with your company. This is in regards to the IDEA Wi-Fi connection that I have had since last 2 months. I gave up my old service provider “Excel Broadband” which I had for over 3 years because of IDEA Brand and expected excellent service from the folks at your place. I do agree that the idea connection internet is good too. However, my payment of Rs.610.80 Was pending 15th July ( I am still not sure about exact date ) and after that my services were deactivated since 23rd . I did not receive any message pre-deactivation with the bill amount nor any email. But did get deactivation message to my mobile post deactivation. I am a person who mostly travels and make bill payments online. Since I had no internet at home, I was unaware of website where I can make payments. I did not carry the website address. On 25th someone by the name “ GAYATHRI” spoke to me as a supervisor. She said she will send mail to activation team, but was waste of my time. Ii have no problem with bill payment but someone needs to walk me through the website. I called today again @[protected]. First spoke to a customer service Representative named “SWAPNA”. She was the most terrible, pathetic, rash/rude customer service agent I have ever spoken. She was very condescending and had no compassion for me as a customer who needed help to make payment. She did not even know how to walkthrough to website to make payment. I was not happy and asked for her supervisor. The Team leader Mr. Balakrishna ( or balakrishnan )who was the TL on duty came on line and patiently listened to my problem. He said he will give me a callback in 30 minutes after finding the problem with a solution. Even he had no idea about making online payments for IDEA Wi-Fi. This is the most shocking thing to see that not an agent but also a Team Leader can’t help a customer make online payment. Truly Shocking!!!!

          I waited for 2 hours but got no callback as promised by your team leader Balakrishna ( or balakrishnan ). This was truly surprising to me as a person who had a great impression about Aditya Birla Group product can have such low unprofessional and disgusting employees with no customer empathy or responsibility. Hard luck I again called customer service @[protected]. Worst thing I again got the same lady “SWAPNA” on the line. Again, I was trying to get in touch with Team leader and she said that her Team leader tried to call me but my phone was not reachable ( Total LIES ). When again asked to talk to him, she faked and said that he is not available. Can there be a service with no supervisor available and after promising me , how can he just log off with no response. I then fought myself and found way online to pay WIFI Bill and finally got my password reset and paid online. Still awaiting my Internet Service to be activated in sometime.

          IS THIS KIND OF SERVICE IDEA Gives to a customer like me?
          What kind of action will be taken on irresponsible people like Mr. Balakrishna (n) and Worst Customer rep’s like Ms.Swapna??

          Idea — Pathetic Customer Service

          i called up for the query of my online recharge and spoke with Dharmen and he was quite rude to me and hence i asked for a supeviser and he denied for that after a lot of insisting when he finally agreed to transfer the call he disconnected it. and the i call three times and the same thing happens on all the three calls and thus i have not recived any resolution for the same as well..

          Dear Sir/Madam,

          I have been inquiring about a small issue for the past almost a month(with mobile number [protected]) but Idea customer care representatives are just ignoring my issue and without even reading my mails that I have sent to them to grievance.[protected]@idea.adityabirla.com. I talked to almost 6-8 customer service rep, everyone said just wait for some more time it'll be resolved, now its been a month, no resolution.
          Actually I tried to recharge my account by Rs: 44 /- online, but at last step when I clicked submit, the web page gave me error, and I kept trying recharging 6 times and got same error every time. But suddenly after 15 minutes I got 5 sms saying that "Your account has been recharged successfully by RS: 44 /-". Now there is no use of recharging multiple times as recharging with Rs: 44 /- will give call rate of Rs: 44 paisa per minute local as well as STD for 30 days. So there was no use of recharging multiple times. So I talked to Idea customer care regarding the refund of remaining amount which was done 4 times, but all of them are beating around the bush. Now I am fed up running behind them thats why I had to post my issue here.
          I have sent the transaction details of my credit card as well to show them as proof that transaction was done successfully, but no body is bothered to go through the details. Again I am sending the transaction details, please find the attachment.

          And today I got a call from Idea cust service and the rep was so disgusting that he disconnected the call while I was saying something about the issue.
          So I am expecting some positive response and resolution from consumer forum.

          I have submitted all the documents while transferring my Sim card from postpaid to prepaid, but still I am getting calls(recording) from customer care dept( regarding that documents submitted are not sufficient.), and now they have disconnected my SIM.
          I have used this SIM for more thn 12 months and later transferred that SIM from postpaid to prepaid.

          and so I requested for the refund but the told me that a new access point is getting installed on 'paramount society building' that will make your connection possible and it will take 4-5 days .
          . I said ok then I'll wait for some time . 7 days passed away no access point, no connection, then I called manager named "mr. SAYYAD" he said to me more 7 days are required to install the access point.
          I said I need refund its enough.
          till date .. I DONT HAVE CONNECTION. NO ACCESS POINT INSTALLED . AND NO REFUND !!!

          I think I should sue IDEA for this .

          One of the biggest mistake in my life is taking idea connections.
          I have never seen such kind of bad service so far.
          I am wasting daily one hour to call your customer care for internet speed issue from last month.But this is still resolve so far.
          Moreover the engineer guy is not even calling regarding this & he was closing my ticket without any confirmation/visit.
          I escalate this to higher manager they never did anything.
          Please suggest what I should need to do.Really I am getting frustrated because of your service.

            IDEA mobile service provider — Deduction from prepaid recharge

            Sir, Idea cellular mobile is deducting Rs. 100/- for every free SMS sent. Even though it is not opened the money is deducted. On travel, for ladies there is no sufficient charge to make calls which is very embarrasing. Kindly do the needful. Inspite of assurances that they would give credit for the amount deducted, so far no action has been taken in this regard. Thank you, Latha

            IDEA mobile service provider — Deduction of GPRS rental without activating

            In my mobile GPRS Net 20 plan got activated without my knowledge. Executive from Idea care spoke to me to give information about the plan and asked me send SMS for activation on 23rd of sepetember , which was not done from my side. They started deducting 20/- rupees on daily basis. On my suspection on 26th of september, when I spoke to customer care & came to know just because of talking initially plan got actevated. Then I asked to deactivate it, Inspite of deactivation they still deducted money upto 28th of sepetmber.

            Idea — GPRS service activate without my knowledge.

            Rs.20 is getting deducted everyday from my idea prepaid account for some GPRS service "which I had never enabled at first place".             Idea — deduction of balance from prepaid account

            This is in regards to unintimated deduction of balance from my prepaid account of mobile phone having no [protected]. This deduction according to the customer service executive has started from 7th sep 2010 till date untill I called the customer care centre today.
            This deduction according to the customer service executive is for some monsoon offer at the rate of Rs.5 per day about which I was totally unaware till I had 1ps balance in my cell phone today and could not even make a call.
            This is not the first time I have this problem with Idea. Earlier also I had a deduction of Rs.45 for some ringtone and before that Rs.2 per day fpr some call rate pack.
            It is just suprising that such a big brand has been negligent to such customer complaints.
            Inspite of me denying, the customer service executive is insisting on his say that I have activated the service and that my balance can not be refunded.
            We are working class and do not have the time to check balance after every call. Atleast 5 times a day we receive these irritating idea calls from innumerable different numbers and on top of that we have to face such situations.
            The issue is not of the money but of the kind of service that is being offered to the customers who trust this brand.

            Almost 5 days (120+ hours) has already been passed. Still I am not getting any reply to my complain from idea help desk or from any other idea care.

            I am claiming, below cheating made with me:
            1) Dummy calls from idea office from ([protected] number) that informed me about the 75 Rs. full talk time offer.
            2) After dialling call to 198 number (paid service) people are not registering my complain rather they disconnect me from the phone line without registering complain
            3) almost 4-5 months before I have registered for DND service. Still in today I am getting many calls from various companies.

              Prepaid Sim Card — not working!

              i have a prepaid sim card which i got converted in lifetime validity last year in feb. i m in UAE now nd when i tried to use my sim here it says no. does not exist. i got it recharged yesterday thinking that maybe i hv run out of credit, but still it is not working. i want to know that if the card has lifetime validity nd also been recharged then why is it not working here in UAE. my number : [protected] just for your info, i have not used my card since last 1 6months, but still as it has lifetime validity not using the card for specified amount of time, shd not be an issue.

                      I am not receiving the Ebill to my mail id from the last 5 months. i called the customer care regarding the same. They registered the complaint more than 6 times but no use. The interesting facts about complaint registration are..

                      1. I didn't receive the Communication ids all the time.
                      2. i didn't receive the feedback message after the call as they said before starting the conversation.
                      3. Calls will be dropped in the middle by putting me in the Q.

                      Unfortunately or fortunately(my serious doubt) the bill amount will increase more and more by month by month from the time when i am not receiving the ebill.

                        Off goes my patience now. You guys have done this sixth time. And this is final now. Once agaain while browsing net, without even clicking on any idea service, they activated a service and deducted rs. 49. I recieved this message-

But again on 31 oct 2009 the services is activated again without my approval and my balance is again deducted.

                        every Day rs. 25 is being deducted from my prepaid act for no reason.i have been trying to get in touch with the customer care executives of Idea but am unable to do so. i want to discontinue the subscription for which they have been deducting money from my act.how should i stop this.

                                    I am user of Idea Service in Chandigarh. As told by the Idea that full talktime will be given on recharge of Rs.275, I was given only Rs.247.33. When I contacted them (call center) they said nothing can be done now. Kindly act towards this kind of misguiding activities followed by Idea Cellular company.

                                    IS THIS THE KIND OF SERVICE YOU PEOPLE PROVIDE TO YOUR CUSTOMER . DAILY DEDUCTING 5 RS WITHOUT THE KNOWLEDGE OF YOUR CUSTOMER.

                                    If a customer does not pay you people take immediate action why on earth does not this action take place immediately when a customer complains.

                                    Idea Cellular — Misleading Unlimited GPRS Plan

                                    Recently, after seeing an advertisement, I did a recharge of Rs. 98/- on my Idea (Mumbai) prepaid connection to subscribe for a monthly unlimited internet on mobile (gprs) service.

                                    Since I already had all the GPRS settings, etc. installed on my cellphone, I started using the same in a short while only to notice that my talk-time account balance has been reduced substantially. Doubting this, I called up Idea customer care to clarify the usage details and any related issues, I was then informed that the unlimited GPRS plan becomes active only after 4 hours from the time the 98/- recharge is done. In other words, one is supposed to wait for 4 hours before being able to enjoy this plan.

                                    My only agony with the above situation is that —
                                    > First of all, it is not unlimited but it has a 2 GB monthly & 70 MB daily limit which contradicts their advertisement completely.
                                    > At the time of recharge or after the recharge was successful, I wasn't informed about the 4-hour activation duration due to which I lost my talk-time balance.

                                    I have noticed such misleading advertisements/promotions in other cases also but it seems that regulatory bodies are least concerned about the same. It seems as if we as a customer will have to be responsible for not reading the fine lines and succumb to such manipulative tactics otherwise.

I had already called to customer care executive regarding the same, I came to know with the provided detail from ur executive that I had subscribed a VAS name comedy junction. But I am totally disagreeing with this commit bcoz till now I didn’t have any message or notification about the same.

                                    I am fully confirmed and ensure you that are some technical mistake. I don't have any VAS or dialer tones etc. I am requested you to refund my deduction.

                                    I had raised a complaint against the incorrect deduction of money towards health tips,playing contest and some VAS sms.
                                    I never did any activation from my end and it started getting deducted from 30th Dec 2010 till today(3rd Jan 2011).
                                    I called up the customer care today and informed them the same. They said I should give a call after 4 hour and i did the same and they were telling that it was activated from my end.

                                      Since last 10 days they have not submitted the documents which I came to know from customer care.
                                      They never pick up the phone to answer anything, when I went there they lied that they have sent it and asked me to find out from customer care. Every time I am told it will be done tomorrow but nothing happens.
                                      This is highly unprofessional from a company like Idea and I am never going to take their services again. no help or grievance method to report such things.

                                      Idea Cellular — Report Customer Care Fraud

                                      I would like to report a fraud by IDEA customer care executives.

                                      Last week i recieved calls from your customer care suggesting i should change my plan to a 199 plan instead of my current 299 plan.
                                      Since the plan sounded better than my current arrangement, i agreed to it. Later that evening an executive came over to hand me a new sim and he justified that if i need to move to this plan , then i need to get a new sim.
                                      He also took identity proof and Rs 500 as deposit.

                                      Since i did not want a change in number, I told him that I would not be interested changing my sim. He insisted that the new sim will be tranferred and i would get the same number on the new sim.

                                      The next day ,I recd. a call from the customer service saying that my request for new number has been completed.

                                      This is simply audacious! Since i never wanted a new number , all i wanted is a change in plan. Now , i have lost Rs 500 and have to un-necesarily take a new number ????

                                      I request Idea to re-voke this new number and return my deposited amount as soon as possible.
                                      And for 20 days I followed up through email and customer care executives, and absolutely no action was taken.

                                      Then I managed to get in touch with the person who sold me the number who admitted that this was a fraud , and the number was sold to me to complete some monthly target. And yet, he wont take it back.

                                      The email correspondence was worst, since they kept asking me to send the receipt, which I did several times through several means, and yet they kept claiming they havent recieved the attachment.

                                      The local customer care centers claim it is out of their power to fix this issue.

                                      Thus, I have no option but to report the matter here. Hopefully, someone from Idea can see the issue here.
                                      I am attaching the receipt as proof with this message.

                                      Because, all I have established over 20 days of complaining is that the staffs technical competency, proffesionalism, response time and demeanor are all extremely poor !

                                      The way the issue is being handled(or not) by Idea is extremely unproffesional.

                                      I want to place a complaint against Green World, (Indra Park, Near Tilak Pull, Uttam nagar, New Delhi-59), an agent of IDEA CARE. I was using a prepaid number which is [protected], in June 1st week I got a call from Green World (Person Name- Ms. Shweta- [protected]) offering a deal to change my prepaid connection into postpaid. I accepted that offer and they sent a persona named Mr. Hemraj- [protected] to collect documents and their service charges. I gave him all my documents and An amount of Rs. 500/-. At the same time he handed over me a postpaid sim card with the same number-[protected] having SIM CARD NO-[protected]. He assured me that with in 3 working days my no will be activated.

                                      But after pursuing continuously nothing had been done from their side. My prepaid connection already had been off. And new connection (postpaid didn’t started). I started to face problem due to switched off of my number. On 16.06.10 they respond that they will solve my problem with in next 3working days. But this time also noting had been done. Then on 19.06.10 they send Mr. hemraj again by saying that may be there is a problem with sim card they will check it and will replace of solve the problem, so I gave them back the new SIM CARD (Postpaid sim). But after that neither they solve my problem instead they stop responding. And till date I m continiously trying but some contact nos of there are going switched off and some are not picking few nos are- [protected], [protected] (Mr. Kalicharan) , [protected] (Ms. Shweta) and [protected] (Mr. Hemraj).

                                      I am being harassed by them, and bearing so much loss in my profession.

                                      Please help me out.

                                      I am using [protected] cell number for last almost five years. With intention to switch over to Post paid connection I submitted required documents with a cheque od Rs.200/-.

                                      Due to some unavoidable reasons the deal could not met. The company (Idea) wants me to get this refund in shape of credit in my pre paid connection. Company says any deposit can not be refunded by cash or cheque.

                                      The money paid for the purpose has not materlise how can they force me to continue with prepaid connection. How can they deposit my cheque untill all formalities completed?. Even they have not bothered to return my documents.

                                      I was user of vodafone but i received call from Anusha ([protected]) as Idea executive to give better plan of postpaid.Afet her excetive cama at our office and collected all documnets from me please note my number was activated only one day and second day outgoing facility has been stop the reason was verification note my parents given room at rent so the verification was not hapen in clear manner, iagree but after i was given document of my flat electricity bill but that was not updated so far please note i;m very depressed my customer were using bad words about not pick up phone even customer care was not given any response yet please take strict action on them also after your feedback also going to media.the details as under,

                                        It is to bring to your notice that my father Raj kumar saraf and mother Gaytri devi are having joint F.D at uco bank main branch gaya, Bihar.the detail of F.D are given below


                                        1.Date of issue 25/6/97 amount 48, 506, Date of maturity 25/4/2000 amount 72, 363.S.no AF/16 369528/3999798

                                        2.Date of issue 13/3/1993 amount 42, 848, Date of maturity 3/09/2001 amount 64, 361.S.no 535782 /1427/9697

                                        3.Date of issue 25/06/01 amount 60306, Date of maturity 24/10/01 amount 68, 918.S.no 971817/426/01.

                                        The officials there are not responding anything about the F.D, my father actually wanted to renew them once again but they are not teeling anything.



                                        The senior branch manager and accountant Mr. saran have misbehaved with my father several times during his visit to gaya uco bank main branch office in last 2 months.My father had also sent letter to uco branch, calcutta, but havnt got any reply yet.please look into the issue seriously as the gaya branch officials are harrassing the senior citizen, also hitting the goodwill o[censored]co branch gaya.Please revert as soon as possible.

                                        i have idea mobile for GPRS setting i sent a sms and they promise me that you will recieve the setting wth in 24hr but i have not recieve after 48 hr again i call to customer care guys he is telling it is your job to download GPRS from internet then i sent a mail customer care <ccare.[protected]@idea.adityabirla.com> they reply me that tommorrow you will get setting but i have not recieve then again i sent mail but they given me time that you will recieve with in two days eight days is over but i have not receive any setting if i call to customer care he dont know/ very very bad service

                                        Idea — Outstanding documents

                                        In the past 2,5 months that I have been in Pune, I have had my line put on hold 3 times already due to IDEA losing the paperwork for my prepaid sim and once for them making an error on the paperwork. I have to go in again today as I received another sms from them last night advising that the service will be put on hold due to no documents having been received. That will make 5 times that they have lost copies of my Passport, Visa, C-form & passport photos in less than 3 months! Are they selling my personal information or something????

                                        Dear Sir
                                        My name is Sajjan Kumar, R/o H. No. T-15A, Ward No. 6, Mehrauli, New Delhi-110030.
                                        I have purchased a new connection for Idea Number is [protected] in 2006. I have given my all document and 500/- rupees for this connection, and that time I was studding. A guy who sold me this connection, he put this connection in corporate on behalf of own decision. I do not know who star associate is. And I never worked there.
                                        Now I have given a request to AirTel for portability. Than idea denied due to some contractual obligation.
                                        I again called to idea call center give request to change my connection in individual from corporate.
                                        And I am following this from last 2 months. But have not received any response form idea.
                                        I again word with call center regarding this, than they told me we cannot help you on this, please visit our idea outlets, they will help.
                                        I went idea outlet in gurgaon and I had word regarding this thy told me give a request letter regarding this and give a letter for left star associate.
                                        But I do not know that who is star associate and where company is also i never worked there.
                                        Please help me out in this problem. I want this connection as individual.

                                        Idea Cellular Limited — Fraud with documents

                                        Dear Sir,

                                        I was using vodafone mobile number [protected]. I shifted (ported) to IDEA on 15th January, 2012. After two days I got a call from IDEA that my another account is showing outstanding amout of around Rs. 3000. On asking, they said I have used two IDEA postpaid numbers [protected] & [protected] for 2 months in Aug-2011. And my billing address is TCS, Gera, Nagar Road, Pune. However, I have been working with different company since past 7 years.

                                        Now they have stopped all the services on my current number [protected] and asking me to make the payment to resume the services. While I could know this number from them only. I have never used these numbers.

                                        I don't know how did they issue SIM card on my name. They are not even ready to show me documents. I am sure they won't be able to produce my ICard of TCS. Becuase I never worked with TCS.

                                        I would request you to help me to resolve this metter and resume services on my current number.
