Dear Sir, i Ashish singh residding at vapi gujarat is using idea cellular pospaid connection bearing no:[protected] from last 1 year, from last one month i had complaint to idea customer care regarding that i am facing a problem in calling a paticular cell no:[protected] bsnl west bengal .for that i had file a complain to idea care but there was no resolution from their side from last 25/09/2013 till date.today when i again called the customer care they told me that we cannot do any thing regarding this.i tried to contact their seniour also but Mr.Arjun choudhary refused to transfer the call to their seniour officer telling that do what you want to do & also told if you call again regarding that matter they we will disconnect your connection .so pls look into the matter & solve it.due to this i am unable to contact my near dear & lots of mental stress is given by idea care .

    I purchased an idea SIM card from authorized MyIdea store. I told them that I have Huawei E355 Dongal and wants to use idea 3G SIM in that. The person there told that they have SIM specifically used for Internet Access and not having calling facility. It will Cost 350 and 1 GB will be free for 30 days. I agreed to that and purchased the SIM. It took more than 48 Hrs for activation and yet another visit to store to ask for activation. After trying to use this SIM in my Dongal Huawei E355, I got to know that it just shows Connected to idea 3G network but there was no data transfer. It failed to access Internet. There are no additional settings required as this is standard SIM and Dongal. Then I re-visited MyIdea to complain. The Person there tried this SIM in idea NetSetter and it worked fine. I also shown them my Vodafone 2G card working fine in my Dongal. So he tried his Demo SIM in my dongal and it also worked fine. So the sonclusion was that, the SIM sold to me was only supposed to work with idea Netsetter and not with other Dongals available in Market. The Dongal I have is standard and largest selling online and in fact of the same Manufacturer as that of Idea NetSetter. Now they are not taking responsibility and not giving any alternate solution for the same. I asked for SIM replacement or Refund, but no response yet. I am feeling like cheated and thinking of going to Consumer Court for justice. Its not just the matter of Rs.350 but of Fradulent Business these guys are doing. Now I also got to know that we are not the only who are cheated this way.

      This is to prey & apprise The Honorable Consumer Court / Forum at Mumbai of Highhandedness o[censored]nethical Professionalism at the end of Idea Mobile for the relentless pressure of making payment for the services not availed by the consumer.
      The undersigned is currently having 2 No. of Post Paid Idea Mobile connections. The connections are within the purview of Corporate Plan, utilisation of the services thereof are being made good in good faith and in due course (In terms of consumption & Payment).
      The relation with Idea Mobile started becoming problematic with their in-genuine demand for asking payment.
      This is to bring to the kind notice of The Honorable Consumer Court / Forum that about 4 months back, I was approached by a boy (Idea Representative) in my office insisting for taking another post paid idea connection at par with the charges of my existing corporate connections. After having given the required documents, concerned representatives kept on calling / enquiring about my credentials for verification purpose only for more than 12 days. Incidentally, the No. for the new connection quoted was [protected].
      It may be mentioned that almost 1 year old consumer with the same service provider i.e. Idea Cellular Ltd. remained on the mode of exploration of confirmation of his Credentials, that too with no change in the Address of Office / or Residence. While calling me on the 12th day, after having allocated the Mobile No. [protected], that too for the 8th time, a girl representative told me that Sir, this is confirmation call. I asked how many times you will be confirming my credentials? It was horrendously depressing and no less humiliating to note that after having given the No. and procuring all the relevant documents, an existing consumer with the same credentials would remain within the purview of further inquiry.
      After having received the call on the 12th day and 8th time, I just happened to ask incidentally about the plan and again there was a quote of fallacy. "Sir, we have provided you the corporate plan". When I enquired about the plan, I was informed that the plan's monthly charge is Rs. 125/-. This was very amazing as at the time of providing the No., I was told that this is also within the corporate plan with Rs. 99/- p.m. Then I told her immediately and vehemently that I do not require the connection as I am using the corporate plans with Rs. 99/- of monthly charges. I also requested very categorically that I am not going to endorse this unprofessional fallacy and unethical anomaly. Therfore, I never used the No.
      This is to bring to your kind notice that to the best of my knowledge, the usage of the No. never fructified. However, I have been receiving the bills thereof, surprisingly levied with late charges also. Since, I have not made any calls from this No., I have not paid any of the Bills. However, I also wish to apprise The Honorable Court that I have been paying for my existing 2 No. of connections in due course invariably and diligently.
      A consumer is supposed to pay for his genuine consumption. Being a consumer, I have been paying for existing 2 No. of post paid corporate connections quite diligently. However, I am being pressurized to pay for the quantum of services not consumed and utilised by me at all. It may be mentioned that the demand of payment for the services unavailed by the consumer is not only against the ethics of financial dealings, but falls within the purview i[censored]nnecessary and unwarranted harassment of an innocent consumer.
      While communicating through several mails to Idea, no solution has come up so far except raising the unacceptable demands for making payment time and again.
      After having perused the communications with Idea Cellular Ltd., my 14 year old son of IX Grade observed very pathetically that “Dad, this is the way Business Houses implicate innocents in legal pursiuts.” Now I also feel convinced with the fact that probably these are the ways, unacceptable means and unethical attitude of garnering money of business houses like Idea Cellular Ltd., who leave no stone unturned to drag innocent consumers / customers for sake of their profit making motives.
      I brought the state of affairs to the notice of Shri Shakeel Ahemad, an eastwhile Corporate Idea Representative, intermediating with whom I ascertained more than 50 No. of corporate connections for my Sr. officers at my office. Mr. Shakeel said that “Sir, this connection is being used by some fraudulent entity.” In one of my mails, I indicated the same to Idea. However, no inquiry has been made by the service provider in the matter.
      After having become tired and perturbed beyond indescribable harassment being created by Idea Cellular Ltd., I was suggested by my family members to speak on certain Nos. appearing in the bill on random basis, so as to ascertain whether they know Alok Kumar Chaturvedi i.e. the complainant. Accordingly, I spoke on the following Nos., which are being detailed as under;

      1 [protected] Ms Taslim picked up the call and said that she was working with Idea and this No. was given by them. But neither I have received any call from Mr. Alok Kumar Chaturvedi (AKC) nor I know him. Unfortunately, Ms. Taslim also said that this is a popular practice of Idea Cellualar, who raises fake bills to the customers. Incidentally, she also said that she has resigned from Idea as they did not pay her as well as her peers the salary for the services rendered by them.
      2 [protected] After having made calls for more than 5 times, there was no response.
      3 [protected] Sampark Kshetra Se Baahur
      4 [protected] Mr. Ayaan picked up the call and said that for the fist time I am receiving a call from you.
      5 [protected] Mr. Siddique picked up the call and said that I am a carpenter and first time I am receiving your call.
      6 [protected] Pl. check the No.
      7 [protected] Mr. Jahid too said that I do not know any AKC and receiving your call for the very first time.
      8 [protected] Band Aahey.
      9 [protected] Pl. check the No. you have dialed
      10 [protected] Sampark Kshetra Se Baahur
      11 [protected] Was Ringing but no one picked up the call (showing in the bill as call made at night (at odd hours)
      12 [protected] Pl. check the No. you have dialed. ( Bill is reflecting that on 27.06.2013 only I have made 8 No. of calls in only 1 hour.)
      13 [protected] Pl. check the No. you have dialed
      14 [protected] Shri Ram Naresh Sharma said that I have not received any call from AKC.

      Surprising fact is that on one of the Nos. indicated in the bill, I have reportedly spoken on Mobile No.[protected] for 35 times (only) on 28.06.2013, followed by 21 times on 29.06.2013 and again 31 times on 30.06.2013 ! This is not the isolated No./ case. In fact there are so many Nos. whom I have never been associated with at all.
      Consumer, whose credentials are engrossed in fallacy, courtesy Idea Cellular, is Alok Kumar Chaturvedi and Idea Cellular Ltd., courtesy themselves only, remains as the only institution full of tautologies. Quite contrary to the self proclaimed so called professional assertions of business behemoths like Idea Cellular, today I feel at the receiving end of such highhandedness of Idea Cellular.
      Honorable consumer court, please permit me to express my grievances on 2 levels 1) I am being made and pressurized to make payment for the services, which I have not availed to the best my knowledge and understanding and 2) The Idea Cellular has been killing my precious time by raising unwarranted bills and making me write such lengthy communications.
      After having a word with Ms. Taslim (Idea representative now stands resigned & indicated at Item No. 1 in the table indicated above.), I am of the firm view that this is not the isolated matter, wherein Idea Cellular is victimizing the undersigned. There may be several cases like this. I undertake to pay the whole amount, provided it is authenticated that I have made these calls. The Idea does appear to have the power and capacity to put the business and commercial principles of society as whole, wherein innocents can be charged as criminal offenders.
      Such business houses have also a practice of making customers listen a recorded voice that ‘this communication is recorded for training and monitoring purposes.’ I also requested in one of my mails to Idea that kindly make me available the audio of last conversation, wherein I clearly communicated not to go with the connection as the same in not in tandem with my existing corporate connections and prima facie appear costlier, they did not act upon my request.
      The complaint is being filed in the Honorable Consumer Court /forum for detailed enquiry on the recommendation of Shri Rohit Arya, Information Officer, Delhi Court, who assured the undersigned for a substantial enquiry and the required justice in the matter.

          I had recently charged my mobile with INR 1000 on 18th Oct and on 20th Oct my balance is showing Zero. I had not activated any other service and have not made any calls that would consume INR 1000 in two days. Can I please get a statement for all outgoing and incoming calls in order to see where my money has gone.

            my no[protected] each time i make an isd call there advertisement for lower call rate come and its so disturbing for me as i make more than 20 isd calls a day. i called there toll free no 198 and registered the complaint to remove this add more than 6 times. each time they say that we will resolve within 24 hours. nothing happened yet. please resolve this.

              Idea Cellular Limited — Sim Card Not Activated

              Dear Sir,
              I(Rajeev) perchased a Post Paid Sim card from idea cellular limited on 16th feb2010 by filling up application form no.1585789(Attached in file) by depositing Rs. 500INR. Mobile number given by idea is [protected] but the sim card is not activated till this date inspite of this, company started billing at my address which details are also in attached file.

              I have a complaint with respect to activation of my IDEA Prepaid SIM card. The no. is [protected] and the SIM card no. is[protected]. I have taken this SIM about one month back and was following up with the IDEA cellular Rahul Telecommunication, Phadke Road, Dombivali (East) branch for activation of the SIM. Initially when I went there for activation I was told to come next day. Then when I went next day they said it will get activated soon, but even then it did not get activated. Afterwards I came to know that they had not sent the form. Later on, they said to dial the no. 2222 for activating, I tried this many times but the SIM did not get activated. This went on for many days and every time I was told to do the same. After some days they took information of my SIM no. but even after providing the information the SIM did not get activated. I asked them to lodge a complaint about the same but they said no we cannot take the complaint, the card is activated. Though they were saying this the card was actually not activated. Now, I came to know that the SIM has gone to recycle and now they are saying that nothing can be done.

              I would like to look into this matter and do the needful. Why should a customer suffer so much? Inspite of regular followups for activation the card was not activated. It was totally some fault from IDEA cellular side. So I would like to do something by which the card can be activated or they should provide me with a new SIM as a replacement for the old one.

              I agree to this. I am also having the same problem right now. I am having prepaid card and the cell no. is [protected]. I am using this for almost 2-3 years. Since I was out of India, there was no transaction on the mobile for one month. I recharged my sim for Rs 300/- before gong out of India. I called on 25th August 2012. When I tried to call on 27th of September, I got a message it is on hold.

              On 1st of October I had been to the office on Law College Road and I was told that the SIM is recycled. And the balance is 0 on the card. I have been told that you have to take another sim card. Nobody was telling how much is the validity of the SIM card when not in use. It is totally cheating from the Company. I regret the whole thing.

              I would like to know the validity of the SIM card when not in use. Can anybody help me?

              I bought a New Sim Card of IDEA.. After I put my the Sim card into phone then I dialed 59059 for activation but it responded "Not Registered Network".

                i have been using Idea 3 G fo last 6 + months.. recently since 2-3 weeks.. every day after 10 AM idea 3G internet connectivity is completely lost till about 8-9 PM in the evenings. this is happening evrey day. i checked with few other friends who have idea 3g and they also experince the same some of them have not convered to vodafone who has amazing connectivity is there any issue with 3G idea these days?

                    Hi, I am using Amdocs CUG plan however I am getting charges for number which comes under same plan. I have three corporate number with same plan however if I called from my number to these two number I am getting charged. I had words with your customer care executive she said in need to visit idea gallery, what a pathetic service. I received sms from Sachin: [protected] saying he is help desk person for Amdocs. I called him on Wednesday he was supposed to collect last two months bill however he might not get time to provide good service to corporate customer, I would suggest if you people are not able to provide service then please do not send any service sms. I am really very disappointed with idea, if you are able to resolve this issue with in 48 hours let me know otherwise I may need to move to any other service provider.                     Still this issue has not been fixed, i need to take legal action against idea cellular Maharashtra circle.
                    Since last week my family and relatives are getting called from idea cellular legal representative : [protected] saying there is legal case registered against me. They are using very abusing language. I need to know few details from idea.

                    1. There is billing dispute against you, which legal case has been registered against me?

                    2. As per TRAI any telecom company can not share customer dialed number history with anyone, why idea is giving my confedential information to there legal represntative?

                    3. Why idea legal representative calling to my relatives and use abusing language and bad words about me?

                    This is really unacceptable, i am working with amdocs and using corporate plan of idea, i will take this matter to amdocs corporate HR and stop idea service in amdocs. I wanted to know the answer of above question from idea as soon as possibloe.

                      Hello, I Pritam . I recharged my Idea west bengal number [protected] with Rs.125 from www.ideacellular.com. In their website show Rs.125 offer 1GB data for 30 days still payment successful. But when recharged complete I check my balance and I saw idea gave only 624.24 MB for 25 days. For this reason I contact customer care and they told me that they dont know about the website offers. I took some screen shot during the payment. So I request Idea to please give fully 1GB data because still recharge payment idea show me Rs.125 1GB for 30 days. Thanks and Regards, Pritam Sadhu

                        My mobile number is - [protected] (Rajasthan) My balance got deducted by Rs.30 as soon as I recharged my mobile yesterday evening, i.e., 15th of October, 2013. I called customer care, firstly they didn't respond well and their executive said that he could not understand my issue. Then, I called again and after waiting in the queue, the executive registered my complaint. Today, I got a call from some customer care executive who said that balance has deducted for some dialer tone subscription. I told him that I never subscribed to such things and there has been unwanted deductions for the same issue in the past. At that time also i called your executive but they gave a useless response and in the end I am the one who lost money. I am also on roaming and after that your customer care executive just wasted my time and balance and I got no refund back. Looking for a quick refund, or else I am myself a lawyer. Gajendra Purohit.

                          sir i am using my no [protected](haryana) for the past 9 month. every month i am charged of wrong service. and this month idea barred my services. i have opted for 98 rs internet plan in which i get 2gb data inspite of which i am charged for using the internet my unbilled rose upto 1300. and idea has barred my services. this is the 3 time i am facing harassment. this is the poor part of idea.please unbarred my services..

                            my mobile no. is [protected], its a corporate postpaid connection, in this i can make free calls to other corporate nos., but in bill of September 2013 they charge on these calls also.., when i tell that to customer care then they said that you activated divert calls, but i didn't pick calls from other no.([protected]) at which i divert my no. and i am 200% sure that i didn't pick calls because this is also my other no., but still they are saying that if divert is activated then cug calls will b charged, what is this? if i am not picking up divert calls from the no at which i divert it so how they can charger? i am not a new user ok. i know when divert calls will b charged and when not and i did it many times, so please dont try to make me fool. the other corporate no. is [protected] at which i call. soft copy of bill is also attached .

                                my IDEA PREPAID number is[protected] I can find that this is second time that my idea sim is getting downloaded by some items(vaanganna from techno zone Rs 30, casual special from jumpgames Rs 25, sensational models from jumpgames Rs1 bold beauties from shemarous Rs2) which I have not downloaded.so please try to rectify this downloading details and return my money back to my account, as because it was already informed to grahak seva consumer and your company told it was downloaded as because money already goes to your account and we customer are sufferers

                                  Dear Sir, I have been using Idea mobile connections since 2011, from Idea was Escotel Idea. Now I am using the No [protected] for 2 years. And now I am working in changanassery and the number was disconnected temporarily without any information and notification.The number (prepaid) has now more than Rs 160 balance. I recharge within every sixty days on the number, who will disconnecting my number recharging after forty five days. I complained the idea information office till not use my number. Now I am in the issue of loosing my contacts through the mobile number. Please understand my situation and kindly take the follow-ups of reconnecting my mobile number and making the number active at the earliest.                                       I have been a customer of IDEA postpaid service for last two years. Recently IDEA has launched "UPW Save More Combo " Plan for post paid mobile consumers. I opted for this plan on 6th September 2013on my postpaid number ([protected]). This plan icludes 1GB 3G data free every month. However for the month of September 2013, 3G charges were added in my bill as per normal rates and a huge extra bill of 1154 was delivered to me. I registered the complaint (C1-[protected]), but they urged me to make the extra payment which IDEA would deduct from my future bills. After lots of calls and mails, my idea account was updated with (-1294 rupees). I thanked the IDEA representative for the refund BUT REQUESTED HIM TO ENSURE IT DOES NOT HAPPEN AGAIN. (The communication details between me and IDEA is attached herewith.) But now again, in the next month, the 3G charges are being added to my un-billed usage as per normal rates which has caused my un-billed usage to cross the monthly credit limit and hence my services have been stopped by IDEA. I request the concerned person to take note of this and resume service on my postpaid idea mobile. (The new plan launched by IDEA in UP west/Uttarakhand circle, specifically "UPW Save More Combo" plan have not been properly set-up and have been offered to consumers causing havoc to consumers who opt these plans. Every month there is a problem with the billed/un-billed amount creating problems for users.)

                                      Dear IDEA,
                                      I was asked to wait for the monthly bill to generate at the end of bill cycle.
                                      The monthly bill for my number ([protected]) has been generated on the IDEA website. It includes 3G charges as per normal rates, although my monthly plan includes 1gb 3G data.

                                      The services to my number [protected] still remain suspended. Although the mail from IDEA states that the services have been restored. Its not the case, the services are not operational.

                                      The issue has been elaborated in above posts. Kindly look into the matter and resume services of my number until the case is pending.
