Dear sir,
after calling and sending lot of mails to customer care am tired now and
before moving to consumer court am sending this mail to you,
I had purchased nokia lumia 720 handset on 30th august 2013, i got the offer from the nokia on website and its box itself saying after inserting respective sim card you will get 2GB 3g/2G data usage wherever applicable for 2 months.it is clearly said that offer will be activated within 48 to 72 hours after inserting respective sim card, and it was said that where 3G is not available 2G will be offered and its auto-activation.so to confirm I called up 198 (bad luck I do not remember the name) on 3/4th sept, so concerned person said yes offer is activated from 1st of September for 2 months, so I was happy and started using the data plan as a part of offer.but when when bill was generated on 21st September 2013, i was shocked with the bill amount Rs.6450/-with data usage around 300MB, so I called up and mailed many times customer care following are the funny replies from them.
1)THERE IS NO SUCH OFFER AVAILABLE, ZERO RENTAL PLAN IS AVAILABLE ON YOUR CARD, SO U HAVE TO PAY ACCORDING TO THAT
2)YOU HAVE COMPANY ACCOUNT WE CAN NOT PROVIDE INFORMATION ON THAT.
3) OFFER PLAN WAS THERE BUT BAD LUCK IT WAS EXPIRED ON 31ST JULY, 2013(I HAVE PROOF FOR THE SAME IN EMAIL)
4)YES, PLAN WAS ACTIVATED ON 1ST SEPTEMBER 2013, I WILL WRITE DOWN YOUR COMPLAINT.
5)YES PLAN WAS ACTIVATED ON 1ST SEPTEMBER, 2013 BUT ONLY 3G IS AVAILABLE
6)GO TO MY IDEA IN YOUR CITY THEY WILL ASSIST YOU(MOST INEFFICIENT PERSONS IN MY CITY)
7)GO TO DEALER HE WILL ASSIST YOU,
AND LIST...
SO FINALLY I CALLED UP NOKIA CARE FOR THE SAME, AND WITH THE HELP OF THEM OFFER PLAN WAS ACTIVATED ON 27TH SEPTEMBER 2013,
So I called up idea customer care to reverse my charges from 1st sept, 2013 to 26th sept 2013, and should be treated as data offer and not zero rental plan, but after many efforts I got the same answer you have used it you have to pay it, and offer data is applicable from 27th September 2013 only, one thing I want to tell you am not that much of sense less to use such huge data knowing there is no offer, so I requested you to check my last five year monthly bill, there will not be such a huge amount.
So I request you to reverse data charges at ealiest before proceeding any further action from me.
