idea cellphone — number not working

my maid has got an idea connection no. [protected] a few days back but it not working now and when we make a call it gives the message as "not approachable".
IDEA Mobile is charging RS 5 per day for wap store subscription
while I have not subscribed to it.

All efforts on unsubscribe via mobile it have failed.

However, I hope this complaint shall not start a series of calls from customer care
because that will be still worst.

      My balance has been deducted to a considerable amount of Rs. 160.
      I was been misguided by the customer care executive of Idea Cellular Ltd. & my balance was deducted under WAP usage condition.
      Even after speaking to the customer care executive my complaint and issue was not solved.
      This is one of the worst operators in telecommunication Industry.

        I had taken idea connection.then due to irritation of high charges ,i chosen portability service n moved to Vodafone.
        At the time of portability I was clearly told to pay full & final amount to idea to get services transferred to Vodafone, unless you pay,your services from idea can not be released.I followed the same.Regarding full & final payment,I used to get calls from idea for a week but due to busy schedule i couldn't make payment.then One day i was free ,n got a call from idea ,telling to pay rs.250 as final settlement.I replied that i cant go to your gallery but you can send a collection boy to Andheri station Mumbai.

        That lady sent a guy (Yusuf Khan) from FAME ENTERPRISES MUMBAI to collect the amount.i paid settlement amount rs.250,considering this chapter will be over.
        But since a month,i'm getting harassed from idea company by getting a message everyday morning till last week.over & above now since a week i have been receiving 3-4 messages a day regarding balance amount 128rs.but no1 called me in this regards.

        Therefore i want to register the complain of harassment on idea cellular. if i was supposed to pay more money,then why didn't they informed me while i paid 250 rs.

        I have payment receipt too.

        Idea Cellular — getting harassment calls

        Hi there! I am getting harassment calls from an Idea number [protected]. I am from gujarat, ahmedabad. I need to know the name and address of this person and want to launch a police complaint against the person calling from the number. Can you help me in this matter? What should I do ? Waiting for a positive reply.

        Idea Cellular Ltd — Herrasment

        I am having a connection of Idea , I am facing the lots of harresement from Idea Co Ltd.

        My first complain is that they are sending the bills too late , for example if bill date is of 30th then customer is receving the bills at home around 5th , secondly even though there is a time of period of 15 days to pay the bill but comapany is making the unnecessary call and unwanted sms to customer for harressement.

        I am getting the continious sms from comapany that my credit the limit getting exceding , when I visit the branch to pay the bill , Branch was closed .

        Thrice , I have visited the branch in just two days .

        In this case fault is of company , then why they are making irrated to customer.

        After all these drama's i have been keep on getting Messages from Idea.Prior to my complaint, i used to get 1 or 2 messages a day, afterward I'm getting messages nothing less than 5-6 a day.Hoping things could have been sorted out but Idea is keep on showing it's cheap behavior.

        Nothing is left to talk no, & I have decided to go to consumer court to register a complaint of harassment case against IDEA with all proofs.My Mobile has around 100 messages from idea.

          Hi,

          I have been facing an a network problem from last three weeks, I raised multiple complaints to the customer care. Every time I called the standard dialogue was " The Problem will be sorted out in 48 hours" this way its been 3 weeks.

          My complaint number is[protected]. The worst part is every time they take the complaint its been closed without any resolution by the IDEA people.

          I would suggest never to go with IDEA, as they are cheaters and I believe the Idea customer care is good for nothing, they take there salaries free of cost without doing a 1% justice to the salaries they take.

          Idea — Worst customer care ...

          People never ever reuist any thing from customer care ... these people are cheat. they activate very fast any schem you are inquiring for. so be aware Idea do not trust........
          naver ever activate any vealu vouture, diler tones, etc they take 4-5 days in process. and if you say them to cancle it they say its not posible.........what a cheat.....they are using primitive computers where any process canto be stoped...

          dont make any requist regarding vealu vouture, diler tones, etc to activate......they will fool you.
          and the customer care is worst...worst......totaly illiterate no technical knowledge just only sir kayp meri jankari se santusht hai ! dam you........

          Idea Cellular — Worst Network and Customer Service

          Worst Network in INDIA: Blackberry service is not working for more than 10 days, No incoming and outgoing calls and No messages for more that 3 days worst of all is no one in customer care was able to track what the problem is and they give 3 DAYS as a lead time to rectify call problems and still it will not happen within time..

          Worst customer care in the whole WORLD: They have more than 3 customer care numbers 12345, 198 and some 1800..... number everybody points out the other for the problem and no one would take the responsibility of solving it. requested for a waiver in the bill amount for the days of problem they do not even take a complaint for it and just ignore it.. When asked for higher official number.. I was given a mobile number of Appellate or someone whos number is switched off constantly...

          Worst part of all is cannot even port the number as no outgoing message..... Kindly suggest if I can file a complaint in consumer court for this?

          Idea has the worst network. I live on third floor and even then i don't get 100% network coverage. GPRS is the worst. I called customer care for 3g data plans in my postpaid no. but customer care executive says that according to Supreme Court's new law postpaid numbers cant use 3g data while i use 3g pack on my airtel number. NEVER EVER go gor Idea Cellular. Worst network, Worst Customer service!

            IDEA mobile company — Plan charges taken but nothing received

            I recd a call from a girl named MANSI from [protected] regarding new plan. In that plan she said that i will received 700 rupees talk time for call to others every month & when i will deactivate this paln then i'll receiv my 1600 back. She sent an executive & i paid him Rs.1600 on 20.10.2008, he filled a Consumer Application form sr no. 1178623 only my name & the charges.                 I have recharged for RS. 201/- unlimited Internet pack 30 days and on first day i got my net connection and it was too slow. so i tried to activate 1 day 3g pack for the next day with RS.27/-...and i used that 3g pack fully...after that i am not able to get my balance of 201 pack 30 days... i tried to call customer care about it by dialing 12345 and they told me that my pack has got deactivated, and i asked for my money back they told me that i wont get my money back also..... bsnl and other cellular devices wont do such actions....idea is making money without serving their users....they took my 201 rs and cheated me...i want my money back...please help me in getting it back....i have given a complaint by emailing to their email address form in website....they did not contacted me yet.....and on the day when i called 12345 a girl took the call and she talked too rough to me as i did something wrong................ :')

                  I bought a DATA card from IDEA CELLULAR on 03/01/2013 with the amount of Rs.3371/-. This is a postpaid connection with one year advance rental plan. The data card is not working properly.Data card no. is [protected]. When I tried to connect to the internet,The site was not open. but the software shows that its connected. I used for my office purpose.I have complained it multiply times but no positive response from their end. So I need the money back from the company. Request you to do the needful.

                  IDEA I CARD — ABOUT RENTAL

                  I really sorry to say that it is not good to use I -cards..
                  because of rental..
                  I could not get that in gang card you have a facility to stop rental.The message charge as well as i s very low only 10 paisa and local call is 50 paisa it is another thing that it does not allow for 5 hours.
                  Rental of both I-Card and Gang are same so why there is no any facility to stop rental in I-card.I really applaud that in Delhi no cellular comany has been such a good service however you the people should br such idea like gang to stop rental like Gang card. you have a recharge of 180/00 through e top up to stop rental in gang card so do something for I-card.

                  idea sales person given to me one datacard.he said that we r giving this datacard for free.onlyusage charges u can pay along with u r mobile bill.but that person activate rental for datacard.so that mycel bill is going very high.idea network persons are cut off my outgoing.

                      I had taken two sim Cards from Ajay Mane (Mobile [protected]) who has come from STATUS on behalf of IDEA. I had issued cheque no.895593 for Rs.650/- which was cleared on 8/9/11 for two sim cards. One sim Card activated (Mobile No. [protected]) in the last week of August-2012. 2nd sim was inactivate. We called the representative to start the second sim but no has come to our resident. My husband went to the IDEA Galllery situated at Lower Parel requested the representative to start the second sim, he submitted all the documents to start the service. We called the person who has given us the sim i.e. Ajay Mane but he did not turned up to our request. I got the bill from Idea for the period 12 August-2012 to 11 September-2012 for Rs.146.00. Since my Sim no. (Mobile [protected]) activated in the last week of August. Though I got the bill for one month with hidden cost. Then I got mail from Aditya Birla, Collection Centre, Mumbai reminding me to pay the same. In this context I talk to RM- Mohd. Ibrahim & I told him that I am not more interested in your scheme. Regarding my payment you adjust from the money which is with you for the second sim and close the matter. But they did not listen to my request. Again and again they are harrasing me to pay the amount of bill which is now more than Rs.450/- (tentative). After 15 September-2012 I had stop using their sim. But then also they charging me. I always got the call from [protected] to pay the amount of bill. I told them also to adjust my payment from the money which I had paid to you for second sim (which is still not activate) and close the matter. They are least bother about such things. They say you pay first and then adjust your money. I told them it is with your mobile company adjust from it. I have the paper which is given by Ajay Mane. Also you can check the status of mobile no.[protected]. My request to you that pls, stop the mobile not. & adjust my bill amount from the money which is with Aditya Birla.

                      Please do the needful in the matter and also give relief me from such calls.

                      Idea — Higher Billing Amount

                      Rs. 2208/- Charged for GPRS Usage...Which is used just for 2 Days.. As per Plan..There is 2 Paisa for 10 KB Download. Now Any Body can Understand from a Sim Card, how Much data can be downloaded...

                      But in IDEA...there is no idea to hear a Customer's Voice

                      More Over I am Using Idea from last 12 Years and Forcefully my number converted as Corporate Number, So I may not use the MNP Facility also.

                      So Many request..but no body ready to hear


                      Answer from Escalation Desk is: Call at Call Center or 198, Call center says call to nodle Officer, Nodel Officer (PUJA) Says...Call at Call Center or 198

                      And I Am Helpless because I do not want to change my number

                        Hi,
                        I am really disappointing with the service as well as customer care functionality of Idea cellular. I recharged my number ([protected]) on 8th Feb 2013 by Rs. 250 and till 10th Feb 2013; my account has reached in minus. I asked customer card and they told me that I had used internet and when I told I have already recharged 1 GB plan (Rs. 125) on 1st Feb 2013, which is still activated on 11th Feb 2013 and I could check the unused KB since I have minus balance nothing deducted during that period.
                        Again I recharged by Rs. 250 on 11th Feb 2013 and now amount is deducted by applying some VAS service automatically and balance is again going to reach zero. firstly Rs. 50 and secondly Rs. 30; don't know why they deducted.
                        There is totally cheating with customer and I have never seen these types of activities earlier. This is first time when I took Idea connection and is very bad experience, and also will never recommend anyone to take idea connection.
                        I don't know whether this customer complaint will take it seriously or not; but I would like to warn all who are planning or switching to idea connection due to some mouth watering plan. Please don't go to IDEA, they will cut your pocket from other end. I would never hesitate to say them pick pocket.

                        idea cellular service — unfair deductions

                        hello ..my name is gareema sehrawat n my numbar is [protected]...its on name of kushagara sehrawat ..
                        2 days before balance was 40 rs n i had not toched my mobile for 2 days i suddenly wanted to call ..it showed me balance of 0.008 paise ...wen i called customer service ..they told me it has been deducted for gprs internet usuage ..wen i have not used it ..secondly they activate any kind of service without my permission..i tried for DND ..but they donot put it...how can i get my last 2 recharges back.
                        Totally agree with you, I have also faced the same situation. But i will tell you this much there will be no action taken either by the nodal agency or by any body else. i have written several emails to them, but no progress so far. so i will suggest you that just change your service provider through portability facility.
                        So just forget about your last two recharge and change the service provider.

                          idea connection — Call Droping

                          i already register my complaint on idea helpline 4-5 times. my problem is that when i recive or i call from my phone i cant here anything from other side or other person did not hear my voice. this happen 7.5 time out of 10 call i made or recived

                          idea connection — pathetic services and charging unnecessary always

                          I am using idea connection since 5 years and they are continuously degrading there service day by day , they just charge unnecessary and wont even feel like knowing the problems of customer ,Network coverage is extremely poor and they just know to make fool of customers and when customer ask for root cause of problem they just say sorry verbly and wont even feel like giving the same in written.

                          Please take some stringent action against them

                          Idea — Amount Deduction without information

                          I am a prepaid customer of idea, 60rs is deducted form my account without my confirmation. In this regard i two call to the Customer Care but not satisfied then they give following contact no. of north regional officer Miss Nidhi Sagar -[protected] & extn. is 9110. On this no. i call three time but no response there.

                            I have been using Idea Mobile Services from a very long time and it would not be incorrect to say that I am a loyal Idea Customer.

                            Unfortunately, this time I have encountered a very strange problem.

                            I was using Blackberry phone from past 2 years and for this I was using the BIS plan of Rs 399/- per month.
                            I switched to Iphone 4 about 2weeks ago and requested to terminate the BIS plan on my number.
                            BIS plan has been terminated.
                            In order to use, internet on mobile I requested to activate the 3G plan of Rs 599/- per month.
                            Starting from 30th Jan'13 to 10th Jan'13, I have been everyday calling up the idea customer care centre to process my request and activate the service on my number. But each time they try to activate it at their end, they are not able to do so because of some technical issues pertaining exclusively to my number.
                            I have visited the IDEA showroom several times, and they face a similar problem too.
                            I was asked to message "ACT3G599" to 12345 and to this I get the following reply-
                            " Dear Subscriber, You are mot eligible for this plan or invalid data"
                            I am always told as my problem can't be resolved at their level, someone from technical department will contact me to resolve this issue at the earliest.
                            Unfortunately, I have not received a single call from the technical department. This undoubtedly says a lot about the customer service at IDEA.
                            In this process, problem number 2 has started- I can't make ISD calls through my number. Complaining about this, I find out that the system shows service is active but when I make an international call I get the following announcement-" This facility is not available on your mobile number. Please contact our customer care for further assistance."
                            It has become a nightmare to use the IDEA cellular services and the most disappointing thing is that no action is being taken on my complaint.

                            It feels terribly disappointing and humiliating to get a service activated as without internet on mobile, mobiles are good for nothing these days.

                              I have Idea Number # [protected] .


                              I have the bill of 294 rs. for this number and the last due date is 10th Feb 2013. I paid the amount of 500 rs. with flexi recharge and the transaction number is # UW[protected]
                              But the service of my number is disconnect whereas i have been paid the bill. Idea customer care not provide me the prior information to discontinue my services. This is happening third time with me. So kindly provide me the permanant solution on this.

                              As well as i am not getting any bill (Soft copy & Hard Copy). I only get the call from idea executive on last due days that my bill is pending so kindly help me to resolved the issue.

                                I have talk to idea cce for internet pack.
                                They told me that rs198 easy recharce will
                                give u upto 2gb speed of 40kb/s and then
                                20kb/s. And do u know what speed I am
                                receiving only less than 5kb/s. It take too
                                much time to open any browser. Pld solve my
                                problem otherwise I have to throw throw
                                your idea sim.

                                Hi, I port my Vodafone number into Idea, when I went ur kalka
                                ji outlet they told me that in rs 199 you will get 199 sms I visited same
                                Outlet and I mat with store manager he told me that idea have changed their all
                                Plan that's why ur sms is not free more while taking with SM, he is showing
                                Lots of attitude nd he don't know how to talk with customer...


                                so this is my humble Request to you look into this matter
                                and given training to your SM of kalka ji store that how to talk vid customer..

                                i call many time around 10-15 at your customer care no- 12345, 198, [protected], [protected], [protected] & Also idea toll free customer care no- [protected] but they can not solve my problem and give me continuously wrong no, I also received a massage from idea for my successfull registration. But when i called to idea customer care he told that my no is in pending condition.
                                Means that idea provide a wrong information to their customers.
                                He can only sell their product but can not not satisfied their customer needs.

                                      I have taken Idea 3G plan of Rs 174 provide 1G data for 30 days validity is a fraud plan run by Idea cellular company and cheating with custmer pl do not buy this plan and beware of Idea product. I have taken this plan 25/Jan/2013 and today is 08/Feb/2013 and plan is not active and after some days 30 days will be over and i will loss my 200 Rs because i have cheated by Idea company. I have written here to save money of pleople. Pl insure before taking any plan of 3G to be fair and real otherwise your daily routine will be disturb and you will feel cheated and your self steem and confidence will be loose

                                        I have not activated any pack in my Idea services, but suddenly i got sms on 7th Feb on my phone that 'Your Mega Pack has been activated. Amount charged is Rs. 40 for 1 month. Renewal Charge is Ts. [protected]@1 month as applicable. To deactivate sms UNSUB mgpkm to 54300'.

                                        Rs. 49 got deducted automatically. I need refund of that amount.
