I had purchased a Idea Sim on 9th,but it has still not activated after everyday the retailer is saying that sim would get activated in a day,but it not happening.

    I am ashok mobile number [protected].i have changed my network to idea postpaid from last 6 months.i paid 300rs/- for transferable in idea office (habsiguda) and they said that it will be refundable after 4 r 5 months even they not deposited money in my account till now. And now they saying that u r amount is adjusted but they not adjusted i am paying full amount whatever the amount is.Even they are not lifting my call and not responding to my Questions.Even i complaint to the customer care they said that u have to contact with idea office we cannot do anything. what i want to do reply me soon..........................................

      I got call from IDEA on 11 th march & they told me new plan of diler tone of Rs.99. and ask me whather you want to change my caller tune. then i said them activate paln but don't change my caller tune.
      but when i checked on 11th march evening, i found my caller tone is changed. imedieatly i called customer care but he told me that it is not changed. i called him several times but they are not responding properly.
      also i resistered complaint with IDEA. but also they are sayning that is it not changed.

        On March 11, 2013, I made a 28 minute call, for which my balance was deducted by INR 8 (I have 30p/min call charges). I had approx. INR 50 at this time. Two minutes later, I made another phone call that got cut in 3 mins due to insufficient balance. Without any use of internet or any other services, Idea had slashed my balance to 21 paise.
        Shockingly, the person I was speaking to experienced the same problem, as his balance was slashed to nil from INR 100+ even though I had made the call and it was a local call. I demand an explanation and apology from Idea for such irresponsible deductions, and a reimbursement for the wrongly deducted balance.

        Idea — deduct balance without use

        today at morning i had total balance of 70 Rs.... i had not use my mobile whole day ....neither any call nor messages.... now in evening when i make a call to my friend i came to know that my balance is zero... i am shocked and call customer care.. they told me that i had send many STD messages which is absolutely wrong.... i had not send any message whole day...
        this is the way how idea earn money by making fools of people..

        Idea — Deduction in balance without any usage

        Dear sir
        This is to bring your kind attention that there was a deduction of Rs 8 in my mobile [protected] on 15 october 2010 and this is not the first time,even before this the same problem happened a month ago.Although Rs 8 is not a big amount but do you have any idea of how annoyed and irritated a person feels when his balance reaches suddenly 0 and he has to make an important call.Adding to the miseries is idea's message card which does not work at the time required or get expired before the validity period.When i talked to customer care executive there was no satisfactory response.Is this how idea cares for its customer,and if this continues then let me tell you no one will ever use idea's services.I am a college going student and trust me after this complain if idea do not reply on my mobile then i will surely complain to its main head quaters to tell them not to ever test the power of a student; the common people.
        I hope you will help me in hightighing this problem to idea.

                Dear Sir,

                In my recent IDEA bill for my postpaid number [protected] for the billing cycle 15th Jan 2013 to 14th Feb 2013, an additional 226 Rs has been charged as GPRS usage. The free GPRS usage for my SIM is 500MB monthly and I have used only 440MB during the above mentioned billing cycle.

                Further, the bill details mention the GPRS usage from the previous billing cycle(i.e. 15th Dec 2012 to 14th Jan 2013) which I had already paid in previous bill, has also been included in the current bill.

                I had raised a complaint on the same with IDEA customer care on 18th Feb 2013 and till now the customer care persons are not able to correct the bill and are helpless with the issue. Moreover, now my outgoing service has also been barred. Request you to please help me.

                Idea Cellular — Unable to phone anyone

                Since last few days I am regularly facing problem since last few days while making calls... It gets disconnected everytime. please help!! Idea cellular service is going to be worst including Costumer care department. They dont pick up phone.. And I am unable to connect to Costumer care also..

                Idea Cellular — mobile postpaid

                since 12 july i had activated cug plan
                i has proof with that shows that since last 3 months i gor free call on cug and

                suddenly from 12 oct i got call charges for my cug nu.
                Does anyone ever check the complaints over here?

                  i have an Idea prepaid mobile no [protected]. it is more than 6 years old no. recently about 21 days ago my mobile got lost so we submitted all our docs to get new sim. on 09 march 2013 in evening services to my no were disabled with out any prior call , sms or any sort of intimation. when we called customer care they refused to provide any no or info.
                  this is very irritation for us as it our business no. now we have got with out cell no till monday morning. we will surely move against co in consumer court

                  IDEA Cellular Services — Disconnection of mobile

                  There was deduction Rs. 20 (10 twice) from my account. for that reason I called up customer care. After the call I got an SMS that the verification of my number was negative, so I have to re-submit my documents. This all happened on 20/08/2010. The message was received in the evening and as I had my MBA classes in the weekend, I again called up the customer care to know if it was ok to submit the documents on monday i.e. 23/08/2010. The reply was positive for me.
                  To the utter shock of mine the connection went on hold from sunday afternoon. I again called up the customer care and was raedy to leave the class and submit the documents wherever required, however it wa not possible as the offices were closed being a sunday. I had only one question, Idea ppeople were asking me to re-submit the documents after two months of getting the connection, for thi purpose they also diconnect my number and above all they were not giving me an option to do so as their offices were closed on that.
                  In today's world one can imagine the imortance of phone and it becomes more important wose parents or family live in some other city. My mother calls me up from Kolkata on a daily basis and that day as she was unable to get in touch with me, her BP got increased.
                  Before all these, I was quite busy with Idea customer care to get rid off the incorrect deductions. How come they decided about my verification being negative all of a sudden.
                  I have undergone too much of mental stress due to all these for almost a fortnight and demand a strict resolution and compensation for this.

                  I am using the above number for the last almost 4 years and using it comfortably till last month. From last month onwards I am getting SMS messages showing and threatening to submit Papers etc. since my papers were not according to their norms. Can the authority tell me what else papers they require than the following - Photographs, Residential proof showing address confirmation, PAN Card xerox copy showing photo identity, My employer Identity card showing my employment proof. These items I have submitted to the Iocal Idea dealer alongwith their printed forms, for three times. Still today also I got the same message again requiring the above papers for the fourth time. The message also threatens that if they are not given within 48 hours the service will be disconnected. I do not understand how they will be asking these papers. I am fed up with this. If they still require the same again and again, I request the authorities to refund the balance amount to me i.e. Rs.95.00 and I shall switch over to other networks who do not harass like this.

                  Can the Idea authorities tell me how to solve the above harassment and when to solve. I am givine here below my alternate number[protected] or residential land line number[protected]. The Idea number is given to all my friends and relatives and customers, otherwise I would have thrown away the same into dust bin and advise the people not to use Idea services.

                  If the authorities do not respond to the above complaint I am going to complain with Consumer Court with all proofs because I have got three acknowledgements from the Idea Dealer. I will also claim for mental harassment and claim the damages from them for loss of time and business because of their disconnection earlier two times.

                  IDEA MOBILE — disconnection

                  my Idea mobile connection disconnected...why....my bill payments are upto date.(verified through customercare)last bill paid on 27th.april (postpaid connection) my Idea cellular no.[protected]. Reconnect immediately.

                  Idea Cellular — Improper Disconnection

                  Idea Cellular has disconnected the lifetime prepaid connection for my cell phone no. [protected] claiming that it has been inactive for 90 days, despite the connection having been used till the date that the connection has been deactivated. On contacting customer case, the Idea Cellular representative stated that the system indicates non-usage for a period of 90 days and therefore the deactivation has been made and cannot be re-connected.

                        i had an idea prepaid connection for last one year approx. my number was [protected]. i am a defence person. the number was with my family while i was away on duty. a message was received on 12 & 14 feb for document not being ok. by the time i was back home, the number was closed permanently . i want my number activated soon.

                        Idea telecom — Disconnect of SIM

                        I must add that I have at least submitted 3-5 times the id proofs (All India Driving Licence, Local Address, Pan card , photographs). I put the scanned copy on your mail as well. But all the time a fuss is being created. The one who verifies says it is ok and now it is in my name and issues have been shorted out. all the time after a while I am dectated for re-submission or take a post paid number. and I am being deliberately harassed .I work for cancer treatment in MP Birla Hospital the owner of IDEA as Dy Medical Supdt. and not able to concentrate due to mischief being played around me by the IDEA.
                        Pl arrange to return my previously submitted ID proofs which I had submitted 3-5 times to M/S Heera Telcon Satna who had provided the SIM
                        I am afraid that my ID is being miss used and manipulated. unless I get back the so called rejected Id proofs ,I would be in no position to re-submit.
                        For your very information on the strength of same very scanned ID proofs which I gave to IDEA I have opened Bank account in SBI and it was acceptable where lacs have been tranjected. I also know that Cell companies are in grand brinkmanship and allegedly operating flouting all the norms of TRI and are selling the Sim on street of Satna to get the maximum customer base.IDEA SIM/number is available on street without any paper and if one want could get in hundreds.
                        The presiding officer of IDEA must be inpostion to verify my ID . I am not a thief.I am a tax payer an dknown internationally. I have been on expert pannel o[censored]nited nation.
                        Pl stop ill treating me. I am being forced to take legal course in the matter.Pl respond urgently.

                          This is really bad to inform you that.. charge of Rs 10,20 have been deducted unnecessarily by IZ-idea CMS service. I have not downloaded any thing from or activated from this site. Will I get my charges back?

                                  i have raised my issue to customer care as well as visited idea cellular local outlet office in recent past but no solution has been provided to me of my problem i have recieved one sms of some offer of sms package and i did recharged my mobile with same amount same day but that particular offer is not working and i was not able to utilize and use the offer committed to me ..for the same problem i have called and registered my compalint online on customer care as well as local idea outlet ...my name is Rahul Satwaskar and my mobile number is [protected] i m loosing my faith and trust on idea and also loosing my money ..please kindly solve my issue since its been one month i m getting some more offers through sms but not able to decide on whether to go for it or not since i have already suffered in past expecting a prompt and fast response and resoultion from idea cellular ltd. i did recommended idea cellular to many of my friend and see i m myself suffering please solve my issue

                                  I have been customer of Idea cellular Ltd from 4 years now. Week back i was trying to recharge my phone with recharge voucher of Rs. 50, when i try to do so, i was getting message which says "Invalid Voucher Id". Now this was new recharge voucher which I have taken from shop i.e it is unused. When called Idea Customer Care center, first they said this voucher is invalid you get it replace from the same shop from which i bought. I went that shop, explain him about the problem, but the shop owner said I cant replace as it is being scratched. Again I called Idea Customer Care, explain the scenario to them. In replay they said you can go nearest Idea center and get it replaced. Same thing happen in when I went Idea center, they denied to replace it. Again I called Idea Customer Care, told them about the whole thing happened with me. Now they are saying you go to Idea Main office to get it replaced. This Voucher is of Rs. 50 and they are asking me to go to Idea main office which will cost me traveling charges of around Rs.60+. Does this make any sense to me. If I am not able recharge my phone with Idea Recharge Voucher, then its Idea people duty to solve this problem, which is not happening. And the way this Idea Customer care executive speak with the idea customer is very cheap language. They just ignoring at my problem and not ready to launch nay complaint for the same. This is worst service I am provided with by the Idea Cellular Ltd. They are thinking that they are boss of Mobile Service Provider sector. I want to have some action against them. I am wasting my money and I can't tolerate by the way these customer Executives talk with the me. Please take some hardcore action against Idea Celluar Ltd. So that no other customers will get suffered like me.

                                  Can you tell me to have any enmity with me? Why I can not find the right answer. And the credits are not giving me my money? And has repeatedly called me Hurt be. I have already filed a complaint has been twice. Through the Internet and calling customer officer yet again, why come you and the officer's phone?

                                  And are giving a warning. Your out of the phone will be turned off.( block to u r out going calls) Why? beg you to please take care that it did not happen. Otherwise I will have to take any steps distress. And as you just look at something very old client is not wrong with me. It is my request and please takes some concrete steps. Please . Kindly do the needful for urgent basis.

                                  Idea Cellular — Recharge amount not updated

                                  My account balance is not updated till date.No one has replied to my mails which I had send to the customer care ,Idea's nodal & Appellete authority. I have had similar problems with Idea eailier also.Idea truely sucks.


                                  I recharged my account through net banking at 5:57 PM on saturday 9/10/2010. I got a message from Idea saying that your money has been transferred successfully and it is being updated in your account.I waited for half an hour but my phone was not recharged. I called up the customer care(198).This is what happened :-

                                  Customer care executive 1 - He said I can not help you call 12345 for information.

                                  I called 12345 - that call is charged so I was not able to talk to 12345.

                                  I called up 198 again :-

                                  Customer care executive 2 - Said that he can not help. Asked me to call 12345 .I told him I dont have balance.He then told me to call some other number (I am still wondering what that meant). I asked him which number.He said Airtel ,vodafone (maybe he meant that you should buy another number because Idea will continue to be a pathetic service provider). He suggested another solution that go and get your phone recharged again and then call 12345 - Now that is interesting - first you dont recharge my account and then tell me to recharge my account again.Good. well done !! nice sales gimmick.If you guys think that you are the only service providers that I can bet you are mistaken.He disconnected the phone.

                                  I decided to give a complaint and get a complaint number so I called up 198 again :-

                                  Customer care executive 3 :- He told me it takes a maximum of 2 hours for the amount to get credited if recharged via net banking ( finally a break I thought).He assured me that my phone will be recharged in 2 hours.He gave me a complaint number :- 1-[protected].

                                  After approximately 3 hours nothing happened :-

                                  Customer care executive 4 :- I told him the problem.Now he tells me that it takes 24 hours for the amount to get credit. I told him to write another complaint and asked him if I can talk to his senior ( complaint number :- 1-[protected]).He forwarded the call to his senior .

                                  Senior executive :- Don't know how senior he was but now he told me that it will take 48 hours for the amount to be credited.

                                  Idea — recharge amount not received

                                  i have recharged my mobile no.[protected] with rs.200.but there was no increement in my account balance.
                                  my sim card is of andhra pradesh and currently i am in maharashtra.there is clearly mentioned in the site of idea about the recharge amount flexibility that means i can recharge with any amount of money.but as i talked with the customer care incharge they say that they have activated my 3G. also that i will have roming cahrges on 3G if i use it.i till now din't activate 3G from my mobile and it doesnt have 3G facility. also i asked for the refund of money and asked to transfer it to my account balance but they failed to do so. the zonal officer also is not replying to the mails.kindly look in to the matter as earliest as possible.

                                  Idea Mobile Recharge — money deducted from mobile account saying they have activated music masti

                                  money has been deducted from my mobile account saying that music masti has been activated even though I have not requested for the same. I called customer care to refund the amount and also give me refund of all the amount that has been deducted this way from my account which has gone unnoticed by me but they say that they cannot do this. I would like to know to whom should I complain so that my account is checked and I receive all the money which idea has deducted from my account without my consent so far.

                                    And I have complain about balance deduction and when I called to customer care of idea company than he said that balance deduct for surfing charge and disconnect the line.... two or three times my main balance deduct.... 1) 25-26th February approx 31 rupees deduct and 2nd time 5th or 6th march 59.40 rupees deducted and when i called to customer care either line disconnect or said that line is busy.... so plz sir help me about this matter....

                                    Idea Service — balance deduction

                                    sir,
                                    am dhanaraju.my idea mobile number is [protected].am checking my mobile balance on 18/2/2010,45 rupees deducted from my balance.then am call to customer care, he said '45 rupees are deducted for tirumala thirupathi pkg service" but am not activating this service from my mobile.but those are deducted 45 rupees from my balance.am not getting any message from idea regarding this pkg.

                                    IDEA MOBILE SERVICE — Deduction of large amount without permission

                                    On 12th Ocober 2010, the Idea mobile service called and said, that they are offering one ring tone free of cost, My wife said no, not required.
                                    They still deducted Rs 214 from my phone balance which was about Rs.223. Informing the call centre yield no result.
                                    This thieves are always look out for higher balance and immediately deduct some amount without any reason.

                                    There is no forum to complain. The number is from Kolkata.

                                      We had received an offer on our number on 5th March 2013.

                                      Offer details:
                                      RC 20 = Rs 20 worth Full Talk time with unlimited validity + 100 Local/Nat SMS free (10 SMS for 10 days).

                                      According to that offer we had recharged our number on 5th March 2013 at 7:53 PM.

                                      But we have received only 15.80 Rs Talk time and 4.20 Rs Talk time was not credited to our account.

                                      This is a deliberate fraud and doesn't suite a company like Idea.

                                      I HAVE AN IDEA PREPAID PHONE ([protected]). IDEA IS AUTOMATICALLY ACTIVATING SERVICES LIKE CRICKET, COMPETITION, LOVE SEARCH WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE/PERMISSION AND DEDUCTING AMOUNT FROM MY PHONE. I COMPLAINED SEVERAL TIMES TO CUSTOMER SERVICE (PH NO 4444). THEY ARE TELLING THAT THE SERVICE IS ACTIVATED FROM MY PHONE. BUT I HAVE COMPLAINED MANY TIME THAT I AM NOT ACTIVATING ANY SERVICE AND TO DISCONNECT ALL SUCH SERVICES FROM MY PHONE. BUT THEY ARE ACTIVATING THE SAME EVERYTIME FOR MONEY. SO THE WORST TELE SERVICES I HAVE SEEN IS IDEA. THE CUSTOMER CARE CENTRE PEOPLE IS ALSO NOT ACCEPTING THE COMPLAINT PROPERLY . THEY ARE TELLING ONLY WHAT THEY HAVE BEEN FEEDED WITH THEIR SENIORS.
