Idea Services — excess billing

U nbilled amount has jumped from Rs. 70 to 245 today dt.31/5/2011. I called 198 compaints which was attended by ms.Shivani & later on transfer to ms. Saloni, both the officers sitting at complains 198 has not regd. my complaint. please take care in this matter,to solve the same &harrasment to others in future. thanks. j.k.arora [protected] (post paid)

Idea — Services not active

I opted for BlackBerry BIS399 plan for which i dropped a message on 12/5/2012(12.30 a.m.), the balance for the same got deducted at the very same point and i recieved a message from Idea in the morining at 7 a.m. saying that its been activated, since then i am not able to use any of the BlackBerry services from Idea.

I have been calling the customer care, complaint care and BlackBerry technical support from Idea from the same day regarding the problem and have dropped some mails for the same and even went to the Idea office to get the issue resolved, besides me doing my best to resolve the issue and even dropping in complaints there is no resolution what so ever it is.

They`ve been misleading me to call some other number everytime i give them call and its like they don`t want to activate the service at all.

I`ve been through the worst service provision ever encountered by me that too with any support to the customer.

    I am using Idea Cellualr prepaid Voice Subscription. From[protected] they have activated dilaer tone song on my subsription and charged 32Rs from my account. I came to know this on 8th and I called their contact centrde, They said it was activated by giving call back on phone and I respoded with somekey and it was activated. I used receive such calls asking for activation and I never responded with any key knowingly for activation.
    But this time might have happened when I was picking up my phone from pocket to respond to the call. They said, the time cancel the service 2 days including the day of activation. But I came to know on 3rd day when friends had to listen when they dialed on my number and informed on the conversation. I verified and called service provider on 3rd day. They never informed me by SMS so that such service activation can be easily acknowleged. I agreed to stop the service but not the refund of 32Rs for this service.     IDEA CELLULAR /MOBILE PHONE — dialer tone

    I have a mobile connection in your company and the mobile No. is [protected].Yesterday (02/12/08)i have a call from ur side and i attend the call .Some time later i got a message and it is like, i select the dialer tone .To day (03/12/08)morning again i have got a message from your side, that is your dialer tone has been renewed successfully. After get the message, i call your cus care No.458 and talk ur staff. My cash deducted from the outstanding Rs 30/-.

    This dialer tone should be cut today itself and my cash will be refund within 24 hours otherwise I will go leagely.I want the replay immediate.

    Idea Cellular — Non refund of Charges levied upon non satisfaction of service

    With due respect I would bring under your consideration the problem with the
    telecom operator . The money once charged on the service like SMS once cut is not being
    returned upon non recipt to the destined person.I have been reglarly messaging the person
    in out circle that is to say I have been making STD messages but the my delivery report
    status shows pending. Even after non recipt of the message on the other end after 1 week or so, the money is not returned to the sender.
    Upon general interest I would like to request you to ook into the matter and get those precious money of the senders back .

    Idea Cellular — not satisfied with Dialer Tone service

    Dear Sir/Mam,
    I have been using Idea cellular services for last 3 yrs and never had a dialer tone service before. But when I received a SMS suggesting for DT services provided by the company, it was displaying the no *888*1# for DT,and the information given in that SMS was not proper & it was not told clear that just by dialing this number the DT service will be automatically activated, so Rs 30/- is deducted from my account.
    Even this was not enough, I came across the other peoblem. By dialing a particuler number suggested by customer care I got different song when I went to change the DT which was activated and again I lost Rs 15/- for a useless song which was not of my choise.
    So the total I had to spent was Rs 45/- for all this which was against of my desire.
    And now I am very sorry to say that I am totally not satisfied with this service & even after paying for 30 days I have deactivated the DT service just in 1 day.

    So Sir/Mam this is a humble request that pls do the needful for other consumers that they do not come across this type of problems which i have faced.

    idea cellular company — DIALER TONE NOT ACTIVATED BUT CHARGES ARE DEDUCTED

    Dear sir, my mobile no s [protected], i was sent a request for activating dialertone on last week. Immediately Rs.15 was deducted from my account but the dialer tone was not activated. Next day Rs.30 was deducted from my account for monthly rental of dialer tone. But till today the dialer tone is not activated to my number. Customer care executives are not responding properly. Idea cellular company is unnecessarily deducting the charges and cheating us. If the same problem is not solved i'll put a complaint to consumer court against idea cellular company.

        I am a idea customer for the last 12 years, on 5 th feb i recharged my with Rs 200, on the same day i received a sms from IZ- IDEA CMS that Rs 49 is deducted from my balance for downloading planet 41,and on 7th feb i received 2 smas deducting 2 times Rs 49 each,i never downloaded anything from the bludy planet 41, what is going on with idea, duping the customers with illegal and unauthorized deductions, this is very unfortunate am taking legal action for illegal deductions.           i had applied fro a postpaid sim connection on 28th jan 2013 and i was assured the connection activation by 1st feb 2013,but till date my sim is not activated.everyday i go and talk to the concerned person(Mahesh) but he gives n number of silly excuses and does fake promises.

          postpaid sim activation — activation delay

          i had migrated my pre-paid connection to post paid.. it got activated but it got deactivated.. the reason was that address verification was not done, but i already have a broadband connection and a postpaid connection in my name on the same address.. wat is the problem i dont understand when i am an existing customer... its been a week and a half and still no progress

            Pathetic speed and untruthful representatives, Overall disgusting service provided.

            Date the connection was applied : 18th Jan
            Date the connection was activated: 25th Jan
            Total usage of internet as per the stats: 1.6 GB
            Number of calls made to the representatives/customer care – more than 10 times
            Number of time I had to visit the idea care office for connection issue : 3-4 times.

            Just for 15 days I was made to roam to idea office, call up the helpdesk for pathetic speed provided to me.

            idea representative Vasanth (mob #: [protected] ) provided me the following information while taking the connection.

            My billing cycle will be 1st of every month whereas the idea care center people inform me that my billing cycle is 16th of every month.
            First 15 days of the connection will be free and I will not be charged anything, whereas idea center informs me the billing starts from day 1.

            I was informed that my data usage shows 8 GB for the connection which I hardly got any service or used it and the speed is reduced to 10.33kpbs wherein a page doesn’t even load after an hour as well

            Overall i was informed that i cannot disconnect my service for 3 months, which means that i have to pay them 750+taxes everymonth for the internet which doesnt even work and keep calling their helpdesk and roam to their office leaving all my work.

              Hello Sir/Madam,

              I am Pankaj Deepak Bhadage, I am using Idea Prepaid number since 5-6 years.
              My Complaint is: On 15the Jan '13 i recharged my prepaid number withe 98Rs, which is for Internet usage (650 MB). I got confirmation message theat account has been recharged and validity of thee pack is 30 Days (still have message copy in my mobile and is attached herewithe).

              On 5the Feb '13 suddenly my Internet services pack got finished(withein 21 Days) and 90 Rs been deducted from my account for using Internet. At theat time i had around 240 MB data balance in my account.

              When i reached to Idea Office, shown theem thee message(about 30 days validity) theey are saying thee pack has been changed and new validity is 21 days.

              My Point is if IDEA has committed me 30 days validity while recharge, how can theey disconnect my Internet facility and charge me??

              * Message i received from number '147' which is idea's number and customer care executive told me theat anybody can send such messages. Such a irresponsible reply i got from customer care.

              Request you to launch my complaint and take some action against theis.

                Respected Sir/Madam,

                I am a Customer of Idea Cellular Ltd. since about last 5 years.
                I have recharged of Rs.56/- on my Cell No. +[protected] on Dt.[protected] at 07:08:40pm which is SMS pack. (700 sms National/Local for 1 month). Then after I did only 1 (one) sms on Local Gujarat Number on Dt.[protected] at 07:15:31pm and company cut my main balance of Rs.1/-. Then after I call to 198 for register my complain but at there no one registered my compalin. And they told me that - "SYSTEM IS DOWN AT PRESENT. CALL US AFTER 3-4 HOURS".
                I faced the problem like this so many times from IDEA CELLULAR. And no one in Company take right decision for their customers.
                Today company cut my balance and there is no gurantee that company is not doing like this with other customers.
                For this, should I bagged for my money everytime???
                Please look forward this matter and do the needful and oblige ASAP basis.

                  I brought a IDEA POSTPAID SIM CARD SIM NUMMBER[protected]) ON 16-1-13.. but still sim card is not activated or didn't either get any verification call .... regarding my sim card activation.

                  I brought my sim card from :"Pace BPO company which is located at at F-92/1 shanti complex , hauman market, munirka, new delhi-110067.. In my view this is fraud company and they sell your simcard and proivide us a same bill copy receipt which is similar to bill provided in idea showroom..


                  So, i am trap by this company , Please help me out from this worstly situation and activate my simcard...

                    Many times without any reason the balance has been deducted from my account. And when I complaints to customer care they not listen my complaints. Till today i have lost more than 1000rs from my account by this fraud deduction.

                    Idea Prepaid Mobile Connection — Discontinue the service of unwanted massages by which the mobile a/c keeping less per day by Rs. 3.00

                    My mobile No. [protected] having idea prepaid connection, i have complaint against the service o[censored]nwanted massages and computerized calls.

                    It comes 25 to 30 times daily, I am very upset with these types of calls and massages.

                    On 28-04-09 I have received computerized phone call from idea, and by mistake I have pressed the 5 no. key on my mobile. Since then, i do not know what service has been start and 3 Rs. daily keeping less from my mobile A/c.

                    Every day some foolish types jokes furnish in my mobile and Rs. 3.00 is less from my mobile A/c. I have talked so many times how to discontinue the service of the unwanted massage to idea customer care but they are not giving me the satisfy answer. They are telling me that my request is not showing on the computer. Please call us later. It is going on from 2-3 days.

                    In view of the above, how can i suggest to anyone to purchase the idea connection when i am facing the problem. If the said service will not be discontined in mobile then i will suggest to everyone that, do not purchase this connection as i am facing the unwanted calls and massages even I have talked to customer care but till yet my problem has not been solved.

                    Idea Prepaid Mobile connection — Disconnecting the non lifelong sim having validity upto November 2009

                    I have a mobile connection from idea cellular ltd. The number is [protected]. The connection was taken on 19th may 2008, recharged with 222, having 1.5 year validity up to November 2009, and 40 rupees talk time offer and it is not a life long SIM. I am used that sim and due to my phone complaints some days i will not used it . Previous month i tried to get a new mobile and put it. that time they deactivated the connection and given to somebody. I claims that I have to get the connection back with the previous balance. Otherwise I have to get the compensation on cheating me.

                    Idea Prepaid Mobile connection — No redressal on SMS faulty services

                    Sir,
                    I m facing a problem of "Inability to send any message" to any no.,whether it's of any connection,STD/Local no. Everytime,I try to send a message from my no.-'[protected]',it displays a "Sending Failed" message.I have been registering my complaints for more than two weeks at Idea Customer Care also,but still the same problem exists.They are repeatedly sending me the 'Complaint registration no.s' ,without even solving it.Every time I am asked to wait for another three-four days. This is the WORST MOBILE SERVICE,I have ever seen, 'a MERE IRRESPONSIBLE BEHAVIOUR' and all above-'HOLDING AN EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE IN FOOLING CUSTOMERS'. Their Customer Care Executives argues with customers or simply disconnects the call,by saying-'We are forwarding your call to our seniors.'

                    Being a customer,I see a hope for proper redressal of my complaint,at this space.

                      My STD has been barred due to late payment..it was barred on 11th Jan .. i paid the amount on 16th since 18 i have been calling them but still nothing has been done. on 26 i called they said it will b solved on 30th as there is some up-gradation going. I called on 30th they said it will e solved on 31st. I called on 31st they said within 24 hours. then i called on 2nd they again said 24 hours. this is being going on since today i called they said till 4 pm it would be solved. I asked them for a complaint number they said they cant give as its technical issue. Mr. AMAN floor in-charge rajasthan customer care said it will b done. but still nothing is done.

                      Please close down these kind of providers who cant get customer satisfaction.

                      Ideacellular — STD Outgoing

                      Many times I have been facing problem to make STD call since one week.
                      Please check my conversation detail with your executive from 2nd October 2008 and find where fault is either my side or your side. Please revert me if you get fault from my side.
                      There is no any bill related issue.i.e every thing related to bill and their amt is OK.

                        Just after my 1st recharge, company cuts the entire amount from my balance and i got a simple sms "You have charged for hello tune".
                        Just After 59059 - i couldn't do my first call. with out any call or ams how can any one activate any service.
                        I call customer care but the executive was too dumb to understand my problem.
                        Till that day i didn't recharge my number.

                        Ideacellular — cancellation of group connection

                        dear sir/madem,


                        i have taken your number in my name as prepaid connection. after that this number taken under group connection in an other name. now i want to cancel group connection and convert this number in my name . pls tell me the process

                        Mark this as an official email for cancellation of connection because I have this email address registered on your website and PLEASE DON’T SEND ANY STUPID BILL Or I will sue you.

                        And the reason for which you lost a good going customer is your bad management. You promised a scratch card while issuing connection with assured gift of value 2500 minimum and didn’t even provided the scratch card.
                        You took 250 Rs for security without having record in your system.
                        This is the height of mismanagement and cheating with customers

                        Idea Cellular Review has always been Bad.

                        I had so many issues with them earlier and they never resolved any one them untill i copied the email to their higher authorities in mumbai

                        Respected Sir/Madam,
                        I was having a connection from idea mobile no. [protected] for more than three years of which I have never delayed payment but recently just three months back I got a call from Idea marketing although I have had do not disturb service activated on my mobile for more than a year at least.They offered me another no. [protected] which I refused as I did not want another number but they said you will get lots of benefits with this number and I could not say no their requests. So I took the number but one month after using the number when I saw the bill I did not like terms so I stopped using the number after making payment of the bill but I made a mistake as I did not make a written request to the customer care but here I will like to mention that I have paid 250 rupees for the connection which were going waste as I would have got them back if I used the no. for 6 months and also the bill I have paid I have not made more than 15 calls when calls worth Rs. 400 were free every month or received any but still I paid the bill.
                        Idea stopped the services for [protected] after one month which I too wanted as I did not like it but to my surprise they even stopped the services of my no. [protected] payment of which I had never delayed. I want to ask Idea why they are doing such frauds by first calling do not disturb customers, than misleading customers and than fraudulently stopping the services of no. whose payment has never been delayed and if it is checked I have hardly used the no. [protected], now they asking for Rs. 689 but why should I pay that when they have cheated, they have lied to me and I have not even used the number.

                          I would like to draw your kind attention, to a crucial matter which seems apparently non detrimental, but calls for a deeper probing for it’s under surface doubtful nature.
                          As Uninor, the mobile service provider is winding up and dismantling their set up in Kolkata due to their intra corporate feud, like everybody, I was planning to port the number to another service provider, to retain my number. A lady, claiming from the cell Serv. Prov. Idea Cellular, has ringed up my wife, who continued to use the no. to be ported: [protected]. The cell no of the lady from Idea Cellular is [protected]. But the most distressing fact is that they (I am not sure about their identity) have sent a young man, and when demanded he failed to provide either any ID Card or any personal cell no. But he has managed to convince us by providing an MNP SIM, which acts as a sturdy proof on our part. But as the connection was in my name, as usual to take a fresh connection I have given him my EPIC and a photo duly signed by me. After a prolong hiatus, and intermittent call for tele -verification to the no. supposed to be ported to Idea Cellular, availed of nothing. In the mean time we have come to know that the number has already been ported and when I have rang up to now, our former no. harshly, the man on the other side has cowered and taking no more calls now. To adorn all, the no. of that lady , claiming from Idea Cellular is ceaselessly unavailable and I cannot trace/track down or charge her.
                          Kindly ensure that the number is not used by any reprobate criminal and my documents etc. are not misused for any mala fide purpose. My IP address is IP address - 112.79.36.8.

                              I am an Idea Cellular Subscriber No. [protected]. I want to Port my number from Idea to Vodafone through MNP. I put request for MNP 3 time, but Idea Cellular always reject my request with any information, update or reason. After calling to Customer Care they told me after many questions that there is some "Contract Obligations" and told me to visit your nearest Idea store. I visited "Sakshi Telecom" address "Shop No-4 Opp Maruti Gate no-1 Delhi-Gurgoan Road Gurgoan-122015" and reported my complaint. But till now there is no update about my complaint.

                              I request again to Idea Cellular to sought it out as soon as possible and allow me to Change my service provider without any delay.

                                  I had done recharge of Rs 500 in my idea prepaid card on 30 jan 2013 and on 2 feb 2013 the main balance is Rs 20. I don't know how main balance
                                  has been cut.Neither the specific information is given by idea call center in gujarat about my deduction from main balance. I want it to be reimbursed

                                  My balance is getting deducted for every sms, though i have a gang connection and the connection details state that we get 300 sms every day after deduction of 2rs. But my 40 rs. have been deducted and sms is being charged at 1rs per sms.
                                  I tried to call the customer care department but they are charging money for the calls and are deducing the balance and are not picking up the phone call.

                                  When i tried to call them using another number they immediately picked up the phone call.

                                      i am vikash a CA student. I have been using idea no [protected] from last 1 year.
                                      on[protected] at 11.00am i was using internet at this time internet mb balance was almostly 40mb.
                                      Then i request for the recharge of rs 10 by my mobile at 11.24 am and i got 250 mb for 3 days at the same time. I was download hindi movies.After some time i saw there is no internet connection in my mobile then i check main balance i saw only 00.03 rs i shocked and call the idea company and report for this in incorrect balance dedction. company said me your all in incorrect balance rs 332.44 will be refund with in 24 hours and made complain for this and give me complain no- 1-[protected]
                                      on[protected] at 3.00 pm company call me and say that your incorrect balnace will be refund only rs142.98 and disconnect the call.
                                      sir from this incorrect balance dedcation i suffres from many mindly problems.

                                        I totally deny u r statement that there is no recharge of Rs.31 on 11.1.2013. I have the SMS on my mobile received from 3891 and the same can be produced in future. And more over the validity for the plan 1/2 paise per second throughout india is valid till 10th Feb 2013 and unnecessary recharge done on 23rd jan 2013 has to be refunded by u immediately and ensure that the previous plan continues till the validity period expires.
                                        I wish the concern staff donot waste the time further by baseless arguement and waste of time.

                                        Thanks for accepting the mistake atleast by now without further arguement.
                                        As u said the plan had been revised on 10th Jan 13 without any prior information, u r suppose to refund the amount of Rs.31 which was recharged on 11th Jan 2013 and again recharge done on 23rd for Rs.31/- beliving that the plan of half paise per second still exists as there was no any info from u r end u are suppose to refund the amount of Rs.31/- which totally is Rs.62/-. As it has already caused loss of money as i would have not made long duration calls from Idea network as i have the same benifit with Tata Docomo i would have made calls from my docomo number and more over i am still wasting my time behind u for asking refund. If the same continues i will be compelled to approach the consumer court and will have to fight for the refund and the previous plan till validity date.

                                        I once again request you to come for amicaple settlement to save time and other loss/damages caused by you.

                                        Idea Cellular — activation charges

                                        sir, i had taken u r talk plan of 199/- monthly. this the corporate plan for manpowar services india pvt.ltd.but when i take that plan that seles exutives say that it has't any activation charges in this plan coz u r taken this plan in grop. u r seles exutives commited to all o[censored]s that there is not any activation charges for that plan but after activation our cards and when our first bill was come it's come with 250/- activation charges. then we called that exuctive and asked abt that he says that he will forward mail to his senior abt this.but never did anything and our outgoing call became stop. then we call him again he said i talk to my senior u just pay u r bill without activation charges and i will activate u r outgoing servic again, as he said we paid our bill but after tree or four days again they stop outgoing calls. again we called him he said that company policy has been changed that time and u hv to pay activation charges. that means he gave us falls committment. we are not ready to pay any activation charges because he did't tell us frist, i[censored] want to contune o[censored] r service to us please chek it out and minus our activation charges from bill and activate our out going call. otherwise we are not going to pay u r bill.[protected]
