i c s deshmukh frm Bangalore my phone # is [protected]
on 13/01/2013 rs 58 & on 16/01/2013 rs98 was deducted frm my account on behalf of that i lodged a complent & got the s r no 1-[protected] to that i got a phone call frm supervisors Mr Aradya,Mr Poorna nanda & Mrs sunita & Mr sidhu that the deducted amount vll be refunded within 24 working hours since on that i use to call every day &the response is u vll get refund within 24 hours definately & is under process bt till today i hv not got the amount . So today i have also given the complaint to news channel CNBC awaaz that this is way idea deals wit its customers .so pls make an arrangment to refund it as early as possible or else i should take further steps to recover the amount. I would like to also giv u todays complaint reference no. 1-EDKSGC8.

Idea Prepaid Sim — about wrongly deduction of Rs.20 for Plain Idea to Idea without any Information

Dear sir,

I have a Idea pripaid sim of No [protected] for which without any SMS send by me a scheme of Idea to Idea 200 min free for 30 days company has activected on my no. and deduct Rs. 20/- on Feb.2009. For this I have talk with customercare on dtd 25.02.09. He says that if You wnat to deactivate this scheme you have to SMS - NOIDEA20 to 4444. I have SMS this to 4444 on dtd 25.02.09. After sending this SMS I again call to customer care he told me that your scheme is deactivate after 24 hours.

But on dtd 28.03.09 Rs. 20/- is deducted from my account, when i call to customer care he/she says that your scheme is autoactivate.

I have no use of this scheme and i have not send any SMS / call for activacting of this Scheme, why Rs.20/- is deducted from my account.

I request to you, kindly deactivate this scheme and refund my Rs.20/- to my account which is wrongly deducted by you from my account on dtd 28.03.09


Kindly take this matter seriously and refund Rs.20/- in my account .

Idea — Refund of amount

Respected sir,
Myself, Prashanth S.N doing Ph.D in Karnatak University, Dharwad. I am a user of idea since 4 years and my number is [protected], and i was using internet plan simplyenjoy. I unsubscribed this facility 5 months ago, but every month amount is being deducted from my balance for this. I complained about this to customercare many times, but my problem is not solved. I expect this to be solved immediately and my deducted amount to be refunded, else i would be forced to go to consumer court.

    i had submitted an I.D for an number [protected] at idea customer care office,mandi samiti,kotdwar road,najibabad. but employee there named as "VIPIN" misuse that number and continously calling at that number, and the mentioned number is of my sister.i warned him for the same but he keep continouing. now he is expell from his job but no action is taken at the cost of his misuse and no punishment is given.....

        Hello sir,
        I have purchased idea netsetter, thay have mentioned speed 238 kbps in full coverage, I have full coverage in my area but i'm getting speed only 10-11 kbps, this is fraud, please take some action.

        it is cheat by company because company is till say that it give 236 kbps of net surfing speed and i try net setter but i reach more than 15 kbps only surfing speed its cheating of company and download speed is very slow...

        I have taken IDEA net setter connection of Rs2499 with plan 750 unlimited usage, since 15 days, I am not able to do any work due to its verry slow speed, even I can not download any single song. So its an useless service of Idea. and even I have complained so many times but no response.

          Dear sir,My idea mobile number is [protected],on 29th jan 2012 i have received a call from [protected] and recorded voice instructed to activate dialer tune,when i heared this suddenly i was disconnect the call but after that i have received message that you have susbscribed to Dialerler tune at rs30/month and rs 15/3month for song selection. I was sucked and when i checked my balance rs 45 already dedaucted from my account.what a wrost service given by idea,now i am very disspointed and harrased.It is the trick by idea to dedauct customer balance. Therefore i request to the concerned authority to look into the matter and refund my whole balance immideately otherwise i will switch over to another operator of my choice.kind regards Biswajit jena

            Hi,
            Actually I'm an idea prepaid mobile user. Recently I'm facing problems related to internet usage.
            Briefly, I've recharged with RC 16(100Mb). But I got only 80Mb for that. After that also when I was using internet it was showing anonimous usage messages like when connected to internet it was showing 60Mb& when I've switchoff the internet it was showing 70Mb like that. Finally I've been charged more than what I used, from the past 15 days.
            I've tried to get compensated from Idea. But customer care persons said that, "So many people are facing the problem. We will try to resolve the problem. But money will not be returned back". After that I've taken screenshots related to internet usage messages on my mobile with date&time. Now I would like to raise a complaint against Idea cellular services regarding "Anonymous internet usage bills". So please take it serious because so many people are facing this issue.....

              Dear Sir,
              I am an Idea Post Paid (adonis199) user since Feb 2012 with monthly rental of Rs 199/ and charges as per plan.

              While purchasing this plan I was informed that this plan will continue till I want to continue and no change in either monthly rental or charges will be altered.

              Recently I received a SMS indicating that my Monthly charges will be Rs225/- from this month bills.

              I would like to draw your attention that while taking plan a lot of promises like 'no change in monthly rental as well as plan' will be made in futue. But after few month you change the plan.

              I called customer care who informed that this adonis199 plan is closed now. OK this plan might have closed and not available for new customers, but being old customers and using this adonis 199 plan how you will increase the monthly rental.

              I hope the operator should not increase the monthly rental from Rs199/- to Rs225/- to the existing customers.

              I shall be thankful if you will look into the matter and inform me at the earliest.

              The problem is that while taking plan the Idea Executive promised me that ' my monthly rental will be fixed till I will be in the same plan'. But after few months they increased the Monthly rental.
              However as far as concern with the service there is no problem.

                I'm having Post paid 3G net setter([protected]), I had made a request(Date : 02/12/2012, call centre reference no :[protected] for changing plan from monthly 1GB of Rs. 250/- plan to 2GB of Rs. 450/-. but they were not processed my request. so last 2 months onwards, company applied extra usage charges of Rs. 736/- & Rs. 716/- respectively. When i called to customer care centre, they are not responding properly. Request you to solve the problem on priority basis.

                    I am Manisha I bought an idea net setter prepaid connection . Now its not working and its been 2-3 months i haven't recharged so now i want to recharge it so i don't have the sim mobile number so i called the idea customer care. But the staff to whom i spoke on 26jan was not able to help. I asked whether he can retrieve my account by my name or contact number or any other details. but he directly said no and he asked me to visit to any idea office which is very far from my home. I am very upset and now i am very much scared that my money is wasted for this connection.

                      IN FACT, I DON'T WANT ANY SUBSCRIPTION AND I HAVE NEVER APPLIED FOR ANY SUBSCRIPTION.

                      THIS AMOUNT OF RS. 30/- IS DEDUCTED FROM MY AMOUNT WHICH IS COMPLETELY ILLEGAL AND UNAUTHENTICATED.

                      KINDLY RE DEPOSIT THE SAME AMOUNT IN MY BALANCE OTHER WISE I AM FORCED TO LODGE A LEGAL COMPLAINT AGAINST THIS SENDER 54300.

                      Spice/Prepaid Connection — Against deduction of Balance without any request by me of activation

                      My name is Lakhvir Singh.I am using Mobile Prepaid Connection Of Spice Telecom for Last Four Years having Mobile No.[protected].The company usually deducted my balance without any request of Activation of services.Today morning they send me a Messege That SUVICHAR service is activated and Rs.30 has been deducted.Kindly wave of my balance and take a strict action against the Company.

                      Idea — unwarranted deduction from account

                      ear sir,

                      1. I am getting services if Idea prepaid for last3 months..My mobile no is [protected] (Prepaid customer).
                      2. I had incorrect deduction of charges since last few days (Rs 1/ day and Rs 5 somedays)...for friend chit chat and other services without my consent.I keep getting messages every two minutes which has become an irritant for me as it hampers my efficiency at job.
                      3. I called to idea customer care center on 198 on 04 june 11 for deactivation these services. I did not get any positive response and was dissatisfied with service.
                      4. I therefore request you to look into this matter and provide necessary help to deactivate the service with immediate effect.

                      The same thing happened to me also. Today (24 april 2013), while I was using Idea internet, all of a sudden, I received above mention msg from 54300 and Rs 30 was instantly deducted from my balance.

                      I never applied for any such subscription. Infact, I haven't ever heard about this (Idea Talkies) service before.

                      I request Idea to kindly redeposit the amount (which is unjustly deducted) in my balance.

                      Just because of this kind o[censored]nwarranted and inappropriate deductions in the past, I already have activated DND on my Idea no. [protected].

                      So, I request Idea to not deduct any amount WITHOUT ANY PERMISSION from the UNWILLING subscriber. I have suffered before. I got 2G internet activated on my mobile. Then IDEA itself decided that I need 3G internet and itself activated it which cost me an amount of around Rs 55 0. I complained about it to customer care and was told dat nothing could be done except deactivating the 3G which IDEA has so nicely forced on me.

                      I don't understand why you have to stoop to such tricks to cheat a customer out of his money. It is obvious dat if a person needs 3G connection, he/she will go and get a 3G recharge on his own. Why force it on the one who is quite happy with d 2G pack.

                      I was quite angry with Idea's trick but didn't know what to do when the customer care so easily washed their hands of it. But this time I most assuredly want my money back.

                      Pardon my language if it went wrong somewhere, but All of dis makes me wonder -
                      Is it worth for IDEA to earn Rs 30 or Rs 550 in these manners and loose a customers of (7-8 years) trust in them.

                      I once again request to to kindly redeposit Rs 30/- to my no. [protected].
                      Hope to get a reply and my my money back soon...

                        I used idea online recharge to recharge my above given mobile of Rs 500.
                        I used my sbi debit maestro card and the balance of Rs 500 has been deducted from sbi account but my number has not been recharged.

                        I try to costumer carer number but i got not good response.i am confused what i do.

                              well i made a recharge of rs 745 for 3G internet connection , the plan said i would be given 4gb data usage . i did the recharge on 4th january 2013 at abt 6:00 pm and got a mesgaage that i have been given 600 mb data (intially i thought i was given extra 600 mb so i did not noticed it ) later in the night at abt 12:30 am on 5th jan i recived a messg that my internet connection has been activated ..... then after few days i noticed my data connection has expired and there was a balance of 100rs that also has been rteduced to 0 (as only my 600 mb data was made available buy them so when it finished everything went to 0) so i called the call centre , they said i have called them and asked them " to shut down my 4gb connection and i just wanted to use 600 mb " so i said to them that i have never mADE SUCH A CALL SO THEY REFUSED TO CO-operate and said now nothing can be done . I told them i do have the messgae that sates abt the 600 mb usage so it was given from their side by themsef and i have made no calls like this but i was BLUNTLY refused that now they can not do anythinh .....

                                Idea — Problem in Incoming call

                                I am using Idea post paid connection ([protected]) for the last 5 years. For the last 1 & half month I am facing a problem in my incoming calls from certain numbers. I have complaint to customer care many times but its not solved yet. Because of this I have made a loss of not less than 2.5 lakhs business. Now if it is not solved within the next two days I am planning to go legally. And another thing is now the customer care head of Kerala is Ms Deepika Menon to whom I have never able to speak. For the last 1 year I have called many times to her number ([protected]) it will be either switched off or Not in coverage. Till now i have never able to speak to her. Some times some other person may pick the call and say she is not in the Desk. I doubt that is a peson named Deepika Menon is working there.
                                This is the same thing I am facing. I am also not able to speak to the customer care head.

                                  My mobile no. [protected] on 21.01.2013 my number deactivated by Idea celular ltd without any prior intimation and no information was given to me reasoning why my mobile number deactivated, Even though it is in use.
                                  why the reason is must there to disconnect, according to your wishes you discoonect my number without informing, according to you why should i take other connection i need that number.
                                  In the consumer complaint cannot take any action to the idea cellular, for my complaint he is freely escaping from my complaint to take his new connection. why should i had to take his new connection.
                                  I think no use of this complaint just it to my problem and doesnt get resolve of problem.

                                        i have a prepaid idea connection, i purchased on 1 feb 2008. i submitted my documents on 4 feb 2008 to the dealer. however my phone connection has been blocked and not connected despite repeated complaints.

                                        Idea — reducing my balance unnecessary

                                        i had recharged my no. with 70 rs voucher i got rsn 55 talktime . but within 2 hrs when i recheck my balance i found that my balance is reduced by rs. 50. i called idea customer care and they did not provide me any positive ans. my cell no. is [protected]

                                        Idea Cellular Ltd. — No system in place to generate a bill for pre-paid cellular services and recharge cards not available since easy recharge was introduced

                                        I am working with corporate company and have been using IDEA pre-paid cellular service since the last 3.5 years.

                                        As per the pay break up, one can claim the telephonic expenses as non-taxable provide a bill along with the recharge card is provided. Ever since the cellular companies have started the easy recharge service it has become really tough for any one to get a recharge card. I checked with the customer care if they could provide a bill for pre-paid services which as per them is not possible. I am sure these cellular companies have a log of all the transactions done under a number. Why there is no facility provided bill even for the pre-paid services? It would help a lot of people like me in case they provide a bill for pre-paid services even with a nominal service charge. I have written in this respect to the service provider but haven’t received a response yet.

                                        Idea Cellular Ltd. — delay in processing

                                        i had bought a new connection 15 days back from the subhiksha centre kamla nagar, Agra(UP west) with complete proofs and id submission, but after 5 days the mobile had been deactivated saying that the id proof was not matching to the photo id provided, hence a second id proof was handed over by me the very next day and i was assured of getting the services back in a few hrs. A week has almost passed where the people at the local offices are telling new stories and the connection is still out of order . It has caused me a great loss as the no. had been published in the newspaper as my only contact for my forthcoming project. This kind o[censored]ntimely disconnection and unjustified delay prompts me to take seious steps towards the irresponsible behaviour and working of the idea system, as it has caused me tremendous loss .

                                        What happens is when the ever bil comes to my atention I calls C.care and they will tell this thing and that mean time due date will be over.
                                        Once again they will charge 100+ Thats been happening for last 2 years. Can any action be taken against to reduce fine to proportionate amount to the bill...

                                        As per my complaint Id 52445988, we were offered an idea connection, with the scheme Rs. 99/ month in which include 1000 call local + 100 STD call +1000 sms. for which a receipt no. 1053362 dated 11/07/2008 was issued, against our payment of Rs. 500 cash.

                                        However to our great shock, at the time of activation, we were informed, that the offered scheme to be of Rs. 399/ month and the Rs. 500 is not refundable, It is nothing but a case of cheating and fraud by IDEA. and at that we refused the permission for activation.

                                        I have activated Internet sevices on my mobile download some software and unsubscribe the services.

                                        After that some ISD call has been done but ISD no. not showing on my recent call list and log call show the ISD no. as well as duration, showing 00.00 and my balance about 400 rs deducted.
                                        I asked to IDEA just logged a complaint for your better services they denied to notice it.

                                        Idea — Deduction of false amounts

                                        Idea is deducting amounts of GPRS on it's own, i had activated my GPRS on 4th june & called to customer care executive to deactivate my GPRS on 4th june itself, he asked me to send a MSG to 12345 to, as he said i have sent my msg, but till today 17june they have not deactivated my GPRS, they are continously deducting the amount & on asking the same thing on12th june they are playing a game that they didn't received any SMS from me, they are just palying with the customer money, to activate they will take 5-10 min & on deactivation they want 3-4 days.

                                        I recharged through ICICI Bank for Rs. 234 - full talk time, but even after 5 days, it still shows no updates.
                                        Customer care is very rude, he just hung up when i was making the complaint. IDEA may be a good name and come from the Birla stable, but as a customer oriented organisation, it sucks with the attitude, "we know you cannot switch your number now", I am waiting for the Number Portability to come in, I will switch to any other operator, which I believe is much better than the Current IDEA service.

                                        I have received telephone call from Idea people and accordingly taken postpaid idea connection before about 2 months then in the office i was unable to receive network and hence have not given verification and then my no. was suspended. After so many telephone calls call centre person asked me to first activate my no. and then only they can look into my network problem. Accordingly I have submitted my documents along with photo to IDEA - Mulund (E) gallary on around 14th Jan 2009, after which I have not been contacted by anyone from Idea and still my no. is not started.

                                        Have tried to contact IDEA by telephone no. of times but their telephone lines are congested and hence could not get in touch to lodge complaint. Have also visited Mulund (E) IDea gallary and received the reply from Mr. Riyaz that he has also contacted their offices but no reply from them. I have paid Rs. 500/- before 2 months and yet to be connected. They are not ready to refund my money too.

                                        Please try to resolve this if possible.

                                        I have requested to disconnect my mobile no [protected] on 30.1.2009 and have paid full & final payment Rs 650/- vide receipt no 8/0435053 dated 30.1.2009 at idea mobile office university road meerut.they lodged the request on their computer and told us that your connection will be disconnected by 1.2.2009.Today i.e 3.2.2009 at 4.15pm i talked to their customer care officer but he misbehaved and said that your connection will not be disconnected.It is their redtapism and they want to force me to continue their connection.It is requested that my connection may please be disconnected and i should be inform.

                                        Idea Cellular Ltd. — Activation is Pending ... Friends ... please beware

                                        Hi,

                                        I have taken a postpaid SIM of Idea on Saturday (14 February 2009) around noon time. The documentation is complete. Still my SIM is not active today, i.e., after 4 days (ok, exclude 1 day for sunday).

                                        I have made perhaps 10 calls to the customer "CARE" executives ... but in vain. Now, I think that I have made a mistake of trying to get a SIM of Idea, I was extremely happy using VODAFONE in Mumbai.

                                        However, I opted for this change only because I had trust in Idea that: the "services" will be good and also, my initial survey revealed that Idea is more popular than the other service provider here in my area.

                                        Now, even after 4 days of submitting all the documents, I am without a cellfone. However, morethan this agony, what I am hurt about is the way the entire matter has been handled ... and I think my trust of banking on Idea has been broken. It is not a question of personal agony, but perhaps the question of the trust being broken.

                                        It has hurt me badly.

                                        Yes, I also experience the same problem. Infact, many of my friends here have been complaining about the same - there are cases in which the activation has taken as late as 15 days!!!

                                        WEll, Well, ... I would request the authorities of the IDEA Cellular to please hire RESPONSIBLE Agencies as agents. The time taken to activate the SIM is really killing. What makes it even worse is the irresponsible attitude of the "customer care" executives

                                        Two times they have imposed vulger dialer tone on my cell without having my consent.When

                                        Well, on a simple day, my room-mate got a call from an executive of Idea Cellular Company describing about a new user plan. My room-mate got impressed and asked the executive to send an employee of the firm to our address. He came and provided us with a receipt of payment which bears the original mark of the company and took away Rs.1200 from us. And till today we haven"t heard from them. They are not responding to the hundreds of calls we have made.
