    To whom it may concern.
    Dear Sir/Madam,
    I Saloni Arora, a regular customer of Idea Postpaid with mobile number [protected] is using Idea from more than 3-4 months.
    Few days ago I decided to activate GPRS 98 plan on my number. I searched the procedure for activation on internet and got a page on idea official site that
    to activate IDEA GPRS 98 pack I have to sms ACT2GM1GB to 12345. After I done the same I got a reply from Idea which says that its an invalid keyword and I have to send ..... these keywords(I dont remember that) for activating the same.
    When I did the same confirmation message was delivered to my phone that the service will activate in this much time.
    After a particular time the service is activated and I started using internet. Now when I receive the bill then I shocked to know that my internet usage charges are more than 1200Rs.I also attached the image having printshot of the same keyword of activation.
    Now I want to say that its a mistake ofIDEA network not mine. So I am not going to pay this GPRS amount(Rs 1200 something).
    I request to IDEA cellular to deduct this from my current bill or finally I have to file a case in Consumer Court.
    So please provide weber in my current outstanding amount so that I can continue using the service.

        I purchased Nokia Lumia 610 a before 3 days back which has an offer of 2GB per month free 3G internet for 4 months.

        After I got my handset and micro sim activated, I dialed Idea Customer Care to get my free 3G activated. The customer care executive told me that the offer is valid only with the sim cards that are bundled with the Lumia handsets.



        Both Nokia and Idea are duping the customers by giving insufficient information about the offer.

        Please take necessary actions.

          From that day till today my idea no is not port and they are trying to make fool of me by giving stupid excuses and not picking up phone. Please take strict action for the same

          Idea Cellular — Delay in Postpaid connection

          Hi,
          I have been using idea prepaid number, [protected] for the last 6 years. On 23rd July, I applied for a postpaid connection by giving an amount of Rs 500 as activation fees. I was told that this amount is refundable. My verification was done several times and every time they were satisfied with the documents produced (Driving License, Voter Id Card, Ration Card). They told me that my number will get activated in 6 hrs on 27th July.Till now my number has not got activated. Idea Cellular has been very irresponsible in this matter and harassing the customers. Every time when I call the concerned person (@[protected])
          he says it will get activated in an hour. Moreover when asked about complaint center, he is not willing to give further details. Calling at Idea customer care doesn't help me as they clearly refused to cater my request of telling me the status of my postpaid application and told me to enquire to the concerned person. This is highly unacceptable on consumer part provided they have charged me Rs 500, wihout giving me the receipt for the same.I was in a dire need of a postpaid connection due to my profession. If not activated today, this calls for a strict action against Idea cellular and they will have to bear the loss during this period.

          Idea Cellular — New connection delayed

          I purchased a new sim card from Idea office at Nizampura road in Vadodara. The no. is [protected]. At the time of selling the sim card they were very casual in getting our details properly and also they did not properly note down the alternate phone no. for reporting any discrepancy in the submitted documentary proofs.
          Even after 2 week the sim card is not activated. This is a pure negligence of that office of IDEA. After two weeks they have managed to cook up stories like, the PAN card copy is not clear and everything.... Even for getting this feedback I had to walk in for 3 times. I informed that I dont need their service anymore. But, the deposit money Rs. 300/- is not returned yet.

          idea cell — Delay in Prepaid to Postpaid connection

          Dear Sir,

          Please note that , i have requested my old prepaid sim card No.[protected] to contvert into postpaid sim for same no. to your personnel SOB TELECOM ( [protected]) ([protected]). and i have paid Rs.400 for new sim card for that

          This people making me fool since one month. they stated that "You have already one No. i.e.[protected] which is on your name and your bill is outstanding. first of all, this no. is not belong to me. For further verification i called on the said no. some North indiain using this no. on my name. ok. If this no.is on my name, that why, I called up @ idea customer service and request them to block this no. they ask me my name and address. they told me this no. is not on your name, how will block this no.

          I need yor help on this matter, This is very serious issue. If idea people using my docs. and provide no. to a strangers. In future user of that said no. will do crime and ran away then police people search the address and come to me and scrued my life

              My no is [protected]. I am request to idea to port my airtel number In idea, in this process 25 days gone . Finally my no. Port in idea in 27 December 2012 . Idea give me a number 59059 for Tellephonic verification , but I am call this number 3 days coutnious but idea disabled my outgoing so I can not call at 59059 and any no. I call me idea care which is provided me this no. 50 times but they are said your no. Activated in within 15 minute and repeat this sentence properly, but my no. Not make a any call . Idea care give me another no. I call at given no. But they are not solve my problem. I call idea customer care your incoming and outgoing is stop but they are not suitable answer to me . Till date my number not working . In this process I lost my 250 rs money which is use in during call idea and my lost my important call due to this reason . I am mentally torture by idea . I have lost my important call due to this reason I lost 15000 rupees.

              I had swithced my airtel mobile no. to idea, my airtel no. has been disconnected 15 days back, But Idea comany has still not activated the same withoout information to me, I am tired following the concerned persons, but does not have any needful reply from them, even they had stopped picking my phone.

                  Hello,

                  I am using Idea Net Setter Post paid connection (2G) . But Since last 15-20days I am facing a lots of problem in Connection and Speed. I am not able to open a page properly, and need to refresh the page 3-4 times to open a page. And also it Disconnect again and again. Max speed 5-10kbps.

                  Its not first time I am facing such problems, I'd registered complaint lots of time but no solution till now. Sometime I think its really a waste of money choosing Idea net Setter.

                  Friends, Please don't buy Idea Net Setter. One of the Worst internet service.

                  Now Its time to change.. Enough.

                          Hi I have a huge problem with idea as they decreasing the Internet speed like cut down to half speed and on other hand the Internet plan rate is increased I mean what the [censored] .... Before it was for rs .. 148 they give 2 gb data and now its 1.2 gb ..... Plz restrict them as they are making holes in our pockets and the service I mean the speed is not worth ....

                            i have requested to migrate my prepaid connection to postpaid and submitted documents for the same on 15 dec. and idea sent me sms on 19 dec that your reuest has operated successfully and will be activated on 21 december till 6 .p.m. but still it is not migrated and i was continuously interacting with ideas executives rubbish answers were given by them and saying we cant not solve your problem and cant provide you service if you want port you can port from idea to any other company....i am porting no problem it will take another 7 days thats fine but is that way to talk customers or now idea dont need customers?????? Adv. Sharad s. ambore patil mo.no. [protected]............ now who pay me the expenditure caused to me to contact your customer care executives during this period generally migration effects within 7 days i.e. 48 to 72 working hours but here 13 days has been lapsed and no one made verification of my address and no action is taken by your executives instead they saying you can port from idea......adv. sharad s.ambore, vakil colony, near charity commisssioner's office, parbhani-431401, maharashtra.............my documents which has been submitted by me is also grabed by idea i was saying it will get misutilised but no steps have taken by them from there side also according to me idea just distribute there dealwership to bogus people because whenever i called idea customer care they even dont know where is there idea care in parbhani district just saying me that you just go there and request them...........

                            I received a message on 13th May 2011. Message was "Get Luck Offer ! Turant Dial Kare *888*1# or *888*8# Aur Paaye Mauka Jeetne Ka Ek shandaar Mobile.". when i dialed required no , dialer tone was activated by service provider and Amount around Rs.35 to Rs.40. I lodged the complain on 13th May 2011 to deactivate the dialer tone and to refund the deducted amount. Dialer tone has been deactivated , but deducted amount has not refunded.
                            kindly do the necessary action against the service provider , so that in future no customer is cheated like this.

                            Idea Cellular — Deficiency in service

                            I, as a conscientious citizen understand the need for the KYC norms
                            being enforced now. When i started getting SMS alerts for providing
                            my ID information, i, at once approached my local dealer and gave him
                            all the necessary papers to be passed on to the higher-ups.At that time there were
                            no clear procedural guidelines available with the dealers. Although i
                            do not remember the date, i think it was during Jan-2011. But i continued
                            to get the messages. In March-2011, i once again contacted my
                            dealer. He suggested there could have been some mistake somewhere
                            and that i submit it again. After making my displeasure known, i submitted
                            it again in the prescribed format,which had come into existence in March-2011 and obtained the
                            'customer acknowledgement copy' .In June-2011 i called up IDEA customer care division and enquired about the status of my documentation. I was told the the details were all in order
                            and that there was nothing more to be done and that i could ignore the SMSs
                            that were being sent routinely.
                            On Aug-1st my caller identification facility was withdrawn. On enquiry, i was told my papers had still not arrived and was asked to submit it a third time. Trying to explain on phone had no effect. I wrote to the
                            greivance cell and the appellete authority attaching the receipt and explaining the matter. The complaint to the appellate authority bounced back with the message' mail id administratively disabled'. After four days and some prodding on my part, my caller facility was restored. But again, a caller named Rekha.D called from their nodal office, asking me to post my papers again to her nodal office address,which i did after making my resentment known. My letter has reached them on Aug-8th.[proof of delivery with me].
                            Now, since yesterday[Aug-16th] they have disconnected my mobile service with the message that i have not provided them my papers inspite of many reminders and that they are cutting my service! I cannot even talk to customer care.I AM SHOCKED AND APPALLED!
                            I have all the receipts in my possession and want to sue them for their arrogance and negligence.They are unable to explain where my papers could have got lost.I am worried about them getting misused.
                            What are the options open to me? I can forward all my e-correspondence for scrutiny.

                            Idea Cellular — deficient service

                            I have been a Idea Celluar customer for more than 10 years. I was going to visit the US for 6 months, so I requested that my phone be put in safe custody. now after 3 months that has still not happened. I had paid the requisite fees. But I am still getting the bills. The person who promised me is Tushar from Hallmak Sims. HallmarkSims and Idea Cellular are not at all dependent

                            Idea Cellular Ltd — Deficiency of service

                            Hello,

                            I am a previlage postpaid customer of idea cellular since 2006 and paying them around 50000 p.a. for my connection. Since 25th oct 2011 I am in delhi to celebrate diwali with my family and from that time my connnection has been barred as there is no signal in the phone. Despite of repititive complaints on customer care no resolution has been given. Till now my number is barred and this is the very poor service am getting from them. Due to this i am suffering from my business as well as demolishing my image too. I owe a brief explanation from any senior official that why is this happened.

                              (1) At the time of Connection

                              When i converted to Postpaid connection i have deposited Rs.200 as deposit along with processing charges. The problem is that there was incomplete information from your side. I was not informed that service tax is applicable on deposit and it will come with 1st Bill.

                              (2) Scheme
                              One day i received a call from your side offering the scheme by taking/converting one or more idea postpaid connection. The scheme offer and provided are as details as under

                              •Scheme Offer : I was informed that if i recommend my friends or relatives to take idea postpaid connection and if they take the postpaid connection then the Plan which i was using will be applicable for the person who was taking the same plan and i will be allowed certain deduction on my monthly plan forever. Also their will be lifetime free CUG between my connection and the new connection taken by friends/relatives. I was having Rs.199 monthly plan. Under the plan i was provided 24,000 seconds free (local/national). 500 SMS free. according to offer if my friend take the postpaid connection then then same plan is applicable to my friends/ relatives. Also i and my friends/relatives have to pay Rs.150 monthly charges + Usage charges and the scheme will not change with free CUG between my connection and new connection of my friend/relatives
                              •Scheme Provided: INSTEAD of above scheme my friends received the postpaid scheme with was applicable for Rs. 150 monthly plan and not Rs. 199 plan and also there was no confirmation call from side before providing the scheme. Also there was not deduction of Rs.50 plan under the my monthly plan
                              •I have visited to idea care also for the problem but also raised their hands.

                              (3) Change Scheme available with Plan
                              My scheme available with plan is change on 1st August (as informed from customer care) without intimation to me. When i made a call i was inform that a letter is sent to you through post but not letter is received to me. Also neither SMS nor e-mail is sent to me for the change in intimation.


                              (4) Credit Limit
                              My credit limit is Rs.745. Last month my billing was Rs.700 including free sms. My net billing was around Rs.600 which does not cross my credit limit. When my billing crossed Rs. 600 i received a call from your side to make payment of Rs. 600 within 48 hours. I was informed at the same time that when billing amount cross 70% of the credit limit customer is required to make within 48 hours otherwise postpaid connection will be discontinue. The problem this that this information was also not provided at the time taking converting to postpaid connection.

                              first of all i have applied for do not call services & it is has been activated by company then also the have called me on 10.17am on[protected] from no [protected] for dialer tone & the told me that you are our regular customer so we are providing you free dialer tone for which you have to pay Rs. 15 for three months & i ask him that are their any other charges included in this he told " no sir no other charges are included" so i told ok start service & then they have deducted Rs. 199 for this sir can u help me my mobile no is [protected]

                              Idea Cellular Limited — WRONG ISSUE OF CONNECTION

                              Sir/Madam i have been writing to idea cellular ltd about the connection for number [protected] .which they have issued on my name even though i have never applied for the same.

                              i have wrote to them regarding this error on 21st of April to which they responded on 22nd april 2010 stating that they will get back at the earliest .

                              Since that date there is no responce from them so i wrote to them again on 3rd Of May 2010 still there is no reply from them.

                              So i request you to kindly look into the matter and solve it at the earliest.

But reason behind this they have activated another plan without my permission, after that many times i have registered complaint through e-mail and voice call in their organization (idea cellular limited) but i did not get any responce.So kindly do the needfull ASAP.

                                Dear Sir / Madam,

                                Myself Kanesh Hari S/o Sh. R. Hari Das Resident 7/16, N.E.B. Housing Board, Alwar (Rajasthan). I had a IDEA Postpaid connection ([protected]) earlier and using the same from last 4-5 years and never been the defaulter in this long tenure.

                                Due to some problem i wished to convert the same into Prepaid. Then i went to the IDEA Office and there customer support person suggested the following formalities :

                                1. To clear all dues billed and unbilled amount.
                                2. To deposit 3 days advance rental for uninterrupted service.
                                3. To deposit amount for new SIM.
                                4. To deposit amount for validity.
                                5. To provide the ID Proof and Photograph.

                                And as per there instruction i have completed all the given formalities but my connection closed with immediate effect even after my 3 days advance rental and now my number is not is service anymore. When i asked them why my number closed even after 3 days advance rental. They had no explanations to tell. I had a several visit at IDEA office which affected my office works and my time. But no satisfaction at all.

                                I have made my maximum effort but till date i couldn't get the satisfactory answer from IDEA Office. And my connection is still out of service.

                                IDEA is a fraud company and its my request to all to do not take any connection from IDEA. There services are worst and no customer care support. The only thing they do is double cross the customers and mentally harass the peoples.

                                  Hii,

                                  Today I got a call missed call from a no. [protected]. Inintially I didnt know who it was but when I called back the person said " you have won 25 Lacs lottery". I disconnected the call and then while verifying the code, I got to know it belongs to Pakistan.

                                  Idea — receiving missed call

                                  Hello sir/madam
                                  I am receiving missed calls from this number [protected] when i call back it was rejected 2 to 3 times after that it was received but i felt that someone creating women voice and try to chat withme i don't know who it is i want to stop it so plz provide information about that number, I am ready to take legal action against this.

                                    Even though these services may be free for the trial period they are chargeable afterwards.

                                    So kindly deactivate the services immediately.

                                    This done not speak well for a reputed company like IDEA.

                                    Service request was raised by Idea regarding 3G ACTIVATION and closed it without resolving the complaint.

                                    This is a very dirty trick and doesn't suite a company like IDEA.

                                      idea cellular prepaid card — love sms

                                      Dear Sir,
                                      My idea no [protected] in name of mufaddal.bookwala is use by my father Mr.Fakhruddin.boowkala age 60yrs.For the last 3-4 months he is getting love sms on his cell which he may have activated unknowingly by him .For this service the company is charging 30per month.I have repeatedly called their customer care and have ask them to stop this service but till date they have not done the needful.They had ask me to send some sms to stop the service but after trying unnumerical times by me, my father an dalso by their customer care executive in kalyan the sms doesnt go and the service is still on .we are wrongly being deducted 30/-per month for this.Please look in to the matter as my father is asking me to lodge a police complain re this.
