[Resolved]  IFB Washing Machine — Service persons not attending

My IFB washing machine is under AMC and I am in chennai.In spite of the repeated request to the help line no service persons are attending the machine,The manager at Chennai is not even attending the calls.I am not able to under stand the reasons for this casual attitude.No higher officials telephone numbers are available for the redresal.

IFB Washing Machine (Diva) — clothes torn

Sir/Madam,
I had purchased a washing m/c on 19/11/2009 after few days while operating i found some clothes torn in m/c so call ur technician. I am very sorry to say that ur technician turn up after 3 months that too after several calls.
Now i am again facing same problem from since dec 2008, but after calling ur helpline number, local disributor, ur panjim office nobody had visited as yet.
Just want to know y u r not sending ur technician? are u waiting for the warranty to get over?
If same problem will continue i would suggest ul to give replacement .

I have purchased a brand new Digital 7 kg IFB washing machine on august 2008. but till I could"t receive operating manual Several time I remained the supplier at Dharmapuri Sharp tronics .their reply till no fruitful. so what are the solution for this problem.

Since last three years(after making an AMC), i had never get a satisfactory service from the local service agency. We have to make complaints too frequently for the same problems. The persons came to repairs are unable to repair the machine properly. The service person forgot tools inside at the end of the service- one time a big spanner, another time an oiling tool, etc.). When i had complained the same to Mr. Ajay-[protected], the local authority for servicing, he had considered the same as a tolerable human error!!! Even after repetition. Every time after service, the machine starts making very high level noise and if we call Mr. Ajay / his Office, they never listen to our complaints and asking us to re-register the complaint. Also, please not that in 95% of phone calls, Mr. Ajay is never replying to our phones.

After making an AMC we are suffering from following problems-
1. Unbearable increase in the operational noise.
2. Tearing of our clothes – after changing the front rubber and drum.
3. Getting dirt impressions on the clothes.
4. Too much vibration of the machine.

NOW, KINDLY MAKE SURE TO SEND A CAPABLE PERSON, WHO CAN SOLVE OUR ABOVE PROBLEMS PERFECTLY AGAINST MY COMPLAINT NO.2992622, DT.04/05/2009. Presently after starting very heavy noise and vibrations, the drum came out of the assembly and machine has stopped working.

Hope for positive actions.

IFB Washing Machine — poor response from service provider

I have been using IFB washing machine model T2900 for over two decades.I am holding valid service contract with "Global Enterprises"On 30th April my machine broke down with some serious fault.I contacted the abovementioned vendor on the same day & registered my complaint.The complaint number is 2981365.Since then no one has attended my complaint.We made several attempts to contact head of the franchiese but went in vain.Me & my wife both are senior citizens cant labourous job of washing cloths because of our age.We request you to instruct the company officials to look into the matter at the earliest.
I have bought a IFB Senator washing maching some 8 years back which is occasionally used only when servant maid is not there. Now from last six months there is no servant maid attending to washing therefore we have to depend on washing machine. We are three at home.
After started using the machine continuously twice a week, the wash quality of the machine deteriorated and we called service station. They inspected the machine and informed that a PCB is faulty and replaced it for Rs.1800 or so. In less than three months, again wash quality dertiorated. We called up again. Service person informed the PCB is gone and replaced free of cost. hHowever service charge of Rs. 280 was paid.
With in a month again the wash quality deteriorated, we called service person. This time it was informed the motor is to be replaced which would cost Rs. 4500. We felt the motor was doing well. Service person informed that the motor is OK but the tacho which controls the speed is gone. The spare part alone is not available. By looking at the tacho we felt it would not cost more than Rs 400, as it had some contacts and a rotor.
We were left with no option to pay Rs.4500 + Rs 280 towards replacement of motor.
The service person informed that the motor will have gurantee for three months.

We would like to bring the following for kind perusal:
1. When the service person came first time he suggested that we buy a new machine.
2. When the service person came second time and replaced the PCB free of cost informed that we get into annual maintenace contract at a cost of Rs.1900 per year.
3. The service person had taken away the faulty PCB when he replaced it first time. Anyway he is at liberty to take PCB second time as he has replaced it without charging for the PCB (we also have a dish washer whose PCB was also replaced at more than Rs.2500 or so because cocroaches had spoilt PCB. The old pcb was given to us. The dish washer is quite new one, less than three years old which is very occasionally used, only when there is a party at home. We may have about three parties in an year and one or two machine loads per party).
4. The service person who replaced the motor informed that the company wants the old motor back. We informed him that we will not return the old motor as we have paid for it. He informed that we have to give it in writing, for which we agreed and asked him to give in writing that the company wants it back. The service person left the issue at that.

Suggestions:
5. Can IFB supply the tacho which appears to be the speed controller alone instead of asking the customers to buy costly motor along with the tacho?
6. Can IFB repair the faulty PCB instead of asking us replace the PCB's which cost substantial amount?

I am tired of calling customer care, My IFB machine is also under amc and so far I have been given two ticket nos but the mechanic never turns up. I am serioulsy thinking of suing them
I totally agree with this. Even I made a complaint for installing the machine 2 weeks back no one still responded.

what a poor customer service.
It is very unfortunate that IFB is providing a very poor customer service to its elite customers. Dealers are only interested in roping new customers without giving any notice to to service to the existing customers. The limit was crossed when the customer service agent himself was indulged in replacing duplicate spare parts, wherein IFB is advocating the use of genuine spare parts.
Myself too a victim of such an unprofessional servise as my IFB washing machine, SENATOR 6 KG got some technical snags . Upon informing the customercare service, the agent responded and upon examining the washing machine he declared that the control circuit plate was defective and need replacement. As the equipment was under warrenty period the services were provided, but to my dismay the washing machine again got the same snag after few months. Again the service centre agent did the same thing. Interestingly the defect resurfaced third time.Upon going in the issue deeply, i found that the spar part he was replacing was actually duplicate. When I enquired about the details the agent turned up hostile and didnt responded properly. Seeing the situation even the dealer of the washing machine washed his hands off. I can proivide the details of this case if some body is interested.My contact no is [protected].
Such a poor customer service is just keeping others at bay from buying such an elite product because after all, after sale service matters a lot.

from the day v bought this machine there some or the other problem.contacted the dealer and he is not even bothered

i hold IFB EXUCTIVE MACHINE, i hv booked a complaint on 18.04.09 ticket number is 2938332, techniician vistied on 20.04.09 without analyising and opening the machine they just made washining with your powder(descule 4 packets) and collected the money rs.600 for powder and 383 for service chagre and informing to run the machine and keep us inform if the same is rectified, on 21.04 i hv informed the problem is not rectified and tecnician came for the same day and informed that we need to change the pump which will be costing Rs.950 also insisted us to come under AMC and he said that he will replace tommrrow (22.04) from that day and after sevral remiders to customer care centre gave a number to inform the problem and the exuctive whom i called gave another number to inform the problem who is incharge for this operation, finally he has informed that only the AMC pepole will be remembered and said that my servisce will repaired on 01.05.09 with out fail but no body came on this day, fianlly technicain came on 06.05.09 and changed the pump and said that still some parts to be reaplced whcih will cost another Rs.3500 or another optiin is to come under AMC where the same can be done free of cost. Alos the cost of pump is 1500, in turn when i explained that your previous technican said rs950 and then they revised to rs.1150 and service charge to rs.349.
I explined my problem and also i am middle classs income person and i do not know how can i offer a sudden change in the parts price plus the servise changre keep changing each time. My machine is still not working. But i told that i am not ready to offer this monery as each time your technicans are sayining different thing and without analaysing the problem at the first stage, all the most the main aim is to make the AMC.

i hv explined my probelm . Hope i will hv some postive answer offering agin money to recitify is not offerdbel as the cost of the parts are not realiable..

Really the service pepole will make the customer to lose hope on recomding the machine. I am holding this machin for past 10year and my self hv recomened to 25of them to buy this mcahing infact from my family circle i am holding 6mcahines.
We are using IFB washing machine since 9 years, But last one year we are facing much service problem.My washing machine is under AMC. I had many calls in service center for repair.But no body came to repair it, I think service center people not intersted to solve our problem.

Iam very sorry to say that your company service personnel in chennai is very bad . They attended my machine 15 days back and told one spare has to be replaced again they came and told the spare brought is defective. now when i call they tell the spare is not available.Now what is the solution. iam tired calling them the person in the reception are useless people they dont know even how to talk to the customers. so i kindly reqest you to take immediate action.

My IFB washing machine is under AMC. After complaining for more than 2 months, I made various calls to Mr Bharat Bhushan after which a technician Mr Gokul finally came to see the machine. He promised to come back the next day to check and fix the machine but has not landed up since then. I made more complaints to Mr Bhushan s mobile no and finally told one Mr Rajiv to refund my AMC but he has not reverted back after promising to do so. I even got an sms from IFB Care saying that my complaint has been solved to which I replied saying NO! There is no response, repair is out of question...
I already have an IFB dishwasher which is lying unrepaired for the last few years
My washing machine is in similar situation
My experience with IFB is that they do not give proper service under AMC and do not change any parts whatsoever. I therefore request that the money I have paid for AMC be refunded as my machine is lying unrepaired whillst under AMC
Will someone please look into the matter

My cmplain was regesterd on 23rd march 2009, till todays date my complain have not been attended.
I have called many a times after regester my complain, but i have not got proper response. Problem is not solved and none of your person have contacted us regarding our issues.
Now i have decided that i will take legal action regarding this matter and i want complanciate of mental and time period harresment.

IFB Digital 6kg Washing Machine — Machine Dead

Service engineer attended the complaint and said that one the spares has to be replaced and it's more than a month and none of them turning up for fixing it. Technical people from IFB doesn't even know whether the complaint is fixed or not despite they call back and ask whether the problem is fixed. They have got no clue about their technicians report and such a poor service of IFB is annoying to the core. What si the solution for this..? should I throw the machine and buy a new one where the machine is already in extended warranty or would someone from IFB will take immediate action???
