i had applied for new connection of LPG on 28/01/10 on Parul Gas Services but up now i have not received any intimation letter from their distributer regarding alottment.
so i request you to take a necessary action to allotme a new lpg connection as soon as possible

My indane customer no. 06493 at kurinjipadi. cuddalore dt. tamil nadu, our dealer venkateswara gas service neyveli. Whenever we call for booking gas, no one answered the call, seldom we got the line and booked. I have booked on 18th feb. till 3rd of march not received the cylinder. what shall i do? After
booked, how many days the gas will be delivered to me. I am realy fadeup with this service

Indane Gas — not getting new connection after one year of applying

I am a scientist in ISRO stying in IIT khargpur campus. I have applied for a new connection one year back ( on 07/06/2007) at authorized Inden dealer in IIT kgp campus. My consumer regigtration slip no. is WB[protected] .Till today I did not get the connection and repeatedly I am told that new connection is stopped indefinitly and forcing me to buy cylinder from black market. I request you to kindly see into the matter and fafilitate me to get the authenticate connection as early as possible.

I am from chennai and i got a new gas connection i month after applying for the same.
Go to any indane gas dealer and give the details. In TN there was a GO passed which said you could use the employer's address proof letter for proof of address. For identity proof i used the Voter's Id. i believe it could be from any place in India. You could also use your PAN card for identity proof. 1 month after applying, the dealer will send a letter to come an pay the neccessary amounts. These days you are also required to get a Notary's affidavit that you reside at the mentioned address and don't have any Gas connection in your name. You have to 1250 deposit for cylinder + 150 for regulator deposit + 340 the cost of the first cylinder + 180 for the gas to stove tube + 85 for the lighter + cost of stove. If you have the stove already, then you have to pay 150 + 25 for verification.

complaints are not compiled by priority basis. I have already complaint for new connection. But not solve the problem.

I have applied for gas connection on 01/09/08 vide New connection registration no.[protected] with M/s. Deepa Gas Agencies, 93, Gangadeeswar Koil Street, Puraswalkam, Chennai -84 after submitting copy of my ration card and voter's ID Card. I had been following with them since 3rd Nov'08 to ascertain about the status, I was informed about a letter posted to my address on 18/10/08. The same was not received by me and accordingly intimated. Then the person their informed that they will send person from co. for verification. After elapse of one month i.e. on 06/12/08 I followed with the agency about non-visit of company person, I was given a reply that we will again send a letter to you. Again on 27/12/08, I approached the agency about non-receipt of the letter, they informed they will send a person to verify the address.

It seems their representative Mr.Mohan visited my residence on 30/12/08 and over telephone informed that there's already a cylinder available at my residence. They will not be able to give connection and disconnected the line arbitarily without listening to my side.

I have separated from my parents during Apr'07 and had been running pillar to post to get ration card, the same was received by me only on 31/08/08 and the very next day I had applied.( till this period a new connection was to be given only on production of ration card). To mitigate my hardship I had borrowed a cylinder from my parents, which is causing nuisance to both o[censored]s.

For your information and records I dont have any connection in my name as can be clearly seen in my ration card.

Hence I would request yourselves to do the needful and oblige.

Sir,

I applied for new gas connection to Supreme Gas Agency, Dilshad Garden. They told me that total charges for one cylinder booking will be Rs. 4000.00. For me it seems to much amount which is not priscribed by any gas company.

Applied for new connection with Konnagar Gas Supply of 77/A/2 G.T.Road, konnagar, Hooghly, W.B.
on 21st July 2009under Registration No.[protected]. No information has yet been received.

I am trying to get new Indane Gas connection since last five months. Every time they give same response " come after two months". I am so frustrated now, I want to complain this behavior of Gas Agency owner to Indane Gas Company that stop the Black Marketing by Agency owners and make available Gas connection in honest way. I want to new concection and visited the office of "SHARMA GAS AGENCY" Uttam Nagar New Delhi, with residence proof and ID Proof i.e. Bar Council Advocate Identity Card, Pan Card and LIC Policy as number of times but the official has refused my request every time stating that the Ration Card must be annexed with application in addition to aforsaid documents.

In view of the above i have also visited offices of the various distributor as well as Indane's official website wherein it is found that Ration Card is one of residential proof not a primery one.

Further asi am residing at Q-46, Vikas Vihar, Mans Kunj, Uttam Nagar, Delhi and the same is falling in the service area of M/S Sharma Gas Agency, Uttam Nagar, New Delhi.

Indane domestic gas cylinders — Consecutive & Repeated delay in Supply

I would like to bring to this forum the consecutive & repeated delay in services / supply of domestic gas refill to my residence..

I hold a gas connection with M/s.South Madras Gas Agency which is located in Mandaveli with Consumer Number : 74453.I have made a booking on 03.01.2011 with the agency and was given a booking number 12617 and informed that the refill will take 5 days time to be supplied.i called up the agency on 10.01.2011 morning and enquired the refill status. i was informed that the bills have been given to the delivery man and the same will reach my residence late in the evening but to my dismay no one turned up after a long wait for the delivery man. I called up the agency the next day(11.01.2011) and got another different answer altogether that the delivery man should have reached yesterday and why he has not turned up..i was asked to wait for another day..Today (13.01.2011) i once again called up the agency and the lady asks me a question back "has the delivery man not yet turned up"..is this some kind of joke or what? even after informing that i will take this matter on a serious note they do not budge for the same.

I reside at Karpagam Avenue which is 1 km from the agency.there are 2 aged people and a kid at my residence. Tomorrow being a festive season (Pongal) it adds up to the agony.

I also would like to inform you that this is the third consecutive time i am approaching this forum. The last time i booked for my refill i had to wait for 21+ days to get my refill cyclinder due to the mistake from the agency on supplying my refill for someone else.I had also sent a letter to the customer complaint cell on Indian Oil Corporation and i did not get ANY response for my pleadings(IOCL - useless cell i have come across).

Now i request the Indian Consumer Complaint Forum to intervene and create an awareness on faulting agencies like South Madras Gas Agencies to pay the penalty for difficiency in services and the agony caused due to such kind of disregardful responses.

i also think taking this to the press and media may also help others to benefit.

I am a consumer of Indane gas from South Madras Gas Agency which is situated at mandaveli with my consumer number 74453..I have made my gas booking on 30/11/2010 and the booking number was given as 16890 and i was promised i will be getting my supply on 16/12/2010 or latest by 18/12/2010 but it is 24/12/2010 and it is going to be one month..i have made more than 20 calls to them since 18/12/2010 and the response was "sir you will be getting today or tomorrow". the worst was when i called on 20/12/2010, i was told your booking has been closed and the supply has been done..later on when i was pressing on to who has taken the supply when it has not reached me., the answer changed to it was some one else's supply..but till date the upply has not been delivered to me.

So unscruplous and unethical staff..they do not have the basic courtesy to even give an answer on what they supply..what kind of people are these..

Blame it on Indian Oil corporation...i think it is high time IOC and the dealer give an answer in the court of law..i am approching the redressal form if either of the concerned don't relook into the matter seriously.

This has been happening for the second time..in the earlier instance, the agency sent a cylinder to my home with a booking bill which i have never booked at all..i had to clarify to the delivery man and the agency that i have recieved a cyclinder the day before only and how can i do a booking within the stipulated booking time..it was clear that the agency had done a double booking ..this seems to be the state of affairs in this agency..

A formal complaint has also been given to IOC earlier this week on the said agency but the IOC staff have been taking the issue not seriously..

I am left with no other option but to reckon the media and the press on Monday 27/10/2010, to throw some light on this agency and the defaulting IOC official in the complaints cell..

After a long wait, on 9th March, I have called them & enquire about status of my above mentioned booking. The answer from their side was surprised me, they told me that there is no such booking. This is the way they are dealing, I have provided details of my booking call. Then they informed that they will check & then deliver the same. But till date nothing received from their end.

Now, I request you to intervene the matter & take necessary step again the distributor. How they can deny the supply against my booking number given on 24th Feb-08. If the number is not exiting in their records, then there is some foul play with the agent. Therefore, please take necessary step at your end to counter check the same.

Also request to you to take proper action to delivery the refill immediately to me .

Hope to get a proper action from this forum.

It is a usual practice being adopted by most of the gas agencies "a not picking tactics of phone" which creates wastage of time, sometimes after continously calling for one or more than one hours. I would comment and suggest that a particular person is enaged for this work so that subscriber can easily book the gas cylinder. This need to be viewed seriously as I am facing similar problem.

I am from Hyderabad, Malkajgiri. The Indane gas enterprises which is located near R.K.Nagar, Malkajgiri is really worst. they don't pick the call and do not respond when we walk into their premises, and they just say all cock and bull stories if we ask them that why you people are not lifting the call and so on.
The management is really irresponsible and very much dull in their work and there is no online booking for certain places including this enterprise.
the people just say that go and book your gas online but, they don't even know that they are aware of online booking.
finally, its my humble request to change the management or the whole enterprise with a well equipped technology so that the consumers are not effected as gas is one of the major useful aspect in everyone's life.
There are many people who are interested in taking the indane gas agencies. As i myself interested in taking and developing the gas agency.

Even after the lapse of 30 days I have not received the Cylinder. The unusual delay in supplying LPG, is a usual practice from the part of Dreams Agencies, Changanacherry. I request you to look into the matter, and take necessary steps to provide uninterrupted supply of domestic gas Cylinder.

We have also had difficulty with them - not picking up the phone, non-delivery for months post booking, etc... Almost seems like there is a gestation period before a booking converts to delivery!

I have booked cylinder from Indane Gas on 03.03.2010. Their office is in Poothkalan, New Delhi as Name-Goodvill Gas Agency. My consumer number is T-3038
Whenever I called them, they are telling you have to wait. Even I met them personally in their office. But still no positive response from them. They are not behaving properly also.Today on 11.03.2010, It has 8th day pass, but They did not delever the cylinder yet.

Can somebody suggest whom should I contact in this case.

Is there any consumer forum where I can place a complaint.

Same case with me, this time with HP. I have not checked policies yet, but it is ridiculous to sell me the stove for a new gas connection, already I have two. If I find free time, I am also planning to take legal path to see how far this can go. In karnataka they have the rules that you need to have a ration card. After two years of effort I got it. Now, I go there and they ask me to buy a stove, otherwise they won't issue connection. Atleast if they ask some bribe or party fund or some donation (not as much as the cost of stove), it may be okay, in Indian context :+) which I might pay. But why buy stove?

I have taken single gas connection of indane gas, but it is difficult to manage with single cylinder so i tried to get one more cylinder to gei uniterrupted service, but from last one year i am asking from distributor he is not responding properly.

I am Ramdhiraj resident of b-3/410, s.puri, delhi-110086.I am customer of indian oil corp. since last ten years.I have been demanded ID proof of myself to get the lpg gas cylinder since last six months. If this is true please let me know the details.
Is there any circular issued to all the distributors of indane cooking gas to get the id proof submitted by the customers
or the distributors itself are blackmarketing the cooking gas cylinder of my quota.My distributor company is goodwill gas agency located in krishan vihar, delhi and my customer no. is
T326.I have already filed a complaint against them two days ago,
but I have not got any response of my complaint application.
Kindly pay attention to my complaint as soon as possible.

Sub. : Irregularities in home-delivery of gas cylinder.

Dear Sir,

I beg to state that I am consumer of Domestic gas cylinder of IOCL. My consumer no. is KG-3348 which is alloted through Krishna Gas Agency, Gadarwara, District Narsinghpur.

In this connection, I am very much pained to inform you that home-delivery of this agency is very-very poor. As my booking No. 2788 dtd. 11.01.2010 but deeply regret to inform you that Gas – Cylinder has not reached uptil now after many telephonic request & reminders. You will be surprised to know that my both Gas – Cylinder are empty now.

In addition to above, after every booking, gas-delivery was made only after instruction of your Jabalpur Office upon my telephonic complaint to your office. Please let me know that how long shall I continue to be in contact with your Jabalpur Office. Since I have DBC connection, it is very painful & uphill task for us to procure the gas cylinder timely. You are requested to instruct Krishna Gas Agency, Gadarwara to deliver both the cylinders filled at a time as both cylinder get exhausted very often in view of irregular delivery even after may reminders.

Kindly instruct Krishna Gas Agency to give delivery within a week without delay & any reminders. Furthermore, this is not the problem of one man but this created problem is related with all Gadarwara consumers.

Finally, I request you to take action against Krishna Gas Agency Gadarwara so that we can get regular & fast home-delivery within a week.

Dear Sirs,

I booked Cooking Gas Cylinder with the local Agency Jaybee Gas Agency, Angadi PO, Ranni, Pathanamthitta Dist on 1st Feb 2017 against my Consumer No JB 4003.

25th Feb 2017

On 1st Feb 2017 I booked Gas Cylinder with Jaybee Gas Agency, Angadi PO, Ranni, Pathanamthitta Dist, Kerala against my Consumer No JB 4003. Last cylinder supplied to me was on 27 Dec 2016.

On 1st Feb 17 I received a message that Cash Memo No [protected] for Rs 678.50 is generated against booking reference No 382428 and that the Cylinder will be delivered shortly.

With this agency every time, one has to do several personal follow up to get the cylinder delivered. This time also I did several personal follow ups but till this time they have not delivered the cylinder to me. Today I even approached them for personally collecting the cylinder from their godown but they refused.

They are unable to give a definite date about the delivery of the cylinder. I therefore suspect that, your Agent is either inefficient or they are diverting the Cylinders in their interest.

I am a senior citizen and request your immediate intervention to set up a system whereby the Agency carry out their responsibility efficiently in the best interest of customers.

I stay at Sarita Vihar, New Delhi and our Indane Gas Agency is Veena Gas Agency. It is extremely difficult to book gas on telephone, as they keep the phone off-hook for the whole day and exactly at 5:30 PM they re-connect the telephone, but after 5:30 PM the phone rings but nobody picks up. I then booked the gas through Indane Gas on-line booking facility by dialing 1260. But it is an eye wash only. Gas is neither booked nor delivered, though they will give you a booking number but nothing about the status. The whole system is a farce. They are just the customers. The General Manager Customer Care should be questioned what for he is holding the post, just to take the salary every month and enjoy with his family.
