Indian oil corporation, the distributor of Indane gas still remain in primitive age so long as request for Gas refill for domestic users are lodged with its dealers. Its officials are extramely customer hostile and always in support of its unscrupulous dealers . Dealers rarely pick up phones to receive request. In these days of voice mail,SMS,emai, IOC still trust its land lines which remain always engaged. I have seen its dealer keeping the phone line disconnected during office hours so that they can not be disturbed. My customer no. is 1224, distributor :AUrosikha at Kolkata

    "no any complain can do harm to us"
    says an employee at balaji gas service (really shaming)
    neither you can complain nor yau can get gas cylinders easily and by ready to get misbebaved by the employees on questioning this is all what we want to say about the servicing of balaji gas service faridabad.
    they can be sell the gas in black at higher rates but there i no gas for normal suplly. i[censored] ask abut this unfair then there is no answar. and if there is further reasoning by consumers then there is misbehaving by the workers at the gas service. they don't want to listen any thing.all is to be faced by consumer we face...we question...and we get insulted by the workers we also get less gas in cylinders. no body at the center provide. complaint latter & complaint no.. for misbehaving.

    there is no difference between a carless govt. employees and the employees at balaji gas service.

    i was booked my gas in last month 15. up to now they cant give the gas. when i am asked they told very rood answer.

      Dear sir
      I am a senior citizen and I have been happy user of Indane Gas
      for about 32 yrs. I am a retired govt. servant after serving as
      Principal Scientist (ICAR) and am 67 yrs. old. I have been a
      regular Tax payer and have my PAN card.

      Now I am facing a problem. The supplying gas agency (Chella
      gas agency, Selaiyur, Chennai, 600073) is refusing to book for
      gas supply in the absence of a ration card. My customer number
      with them is 31882.

      I posses no ration card. I had applied for one, one year back
      but at the time of applying I have been directed to put the
      application in a box and no acknowledgenent was given.
      However no card was issued to me.

      When I approached Tambaram Asst.Commisioner last month with a
      new application he refused to receive the same. He told me
      that I have to wait for a paper announcement in April 2008
      and then apply. He also refused to give me a NO RATION CARD
      CERTIFICATE. He curtly asked me to get out.

      I, a customer for 32 yrs. is drivrn to despair for reasons explained
      above. I am old with host of medical problems for self and my wife
      and we are partially immobilised and without any one to help.

      I request you to kindly direct the agency to supply and I am
      ready to give any undertaking and in any form needed in this
      regard.

      Please help me sir on urgent basis.

      a friend of mine.

      I am the customer of the Indane Gas. The deatils are as given below

      Agency Name : Dhurve Gas Agency, Shri Shubh Complex, Saket Nagar, Suyog Nagar Chowk,
      Opposite Union Bank Nagpur 27. Ph:[protected]
      Everytime after booking the number for getting filled cylinder, we have to personally go to the agency and get the cylinder. We have to always stand in a que for 5 to 6 hrs and then only we get the cylinder. All the customers are suffering from the same problem. The agency does not deliver the cylinder at home address even after waiting for 15 to 20 days.
      I request you to look into the probelm so that ther will not be any inconvenience to the customers.

      Dated 29/11/10 my self booked my Gas cylinder Jamnagar Famous
      Gas Agency Opera Gas agency. my consumer no is 8521 after six days
      they delivered my home outdated(EXPIRY) gas CYLINDER Which is
      not utilised in my kitchen because in future blasting or any kind of problem
      who will responsible gas agency do't answer to me.

        sir iam an customer of indane gas and my number is 19819 . sir the service providing by the gas agencies is really horrible.iam resident of vijayawada(AP). we r suffering lot from our local agency(Ramya krishna agencies) .whenever we try for booking a gas the members of agency are not lifting the phone even for 2 to 3 hours. Luckily if they lift the phone ,they r not responding, as they r talking very rudely even to ladies. Two days back my mother made a call for booking, as usually they lift the call after 2 hrs, my mother asked them 'why r u not lifting the phone?' they replied very rudely that ' its our wish, who r u to ask us ,go and tell to anyone we dont care.' so we decided to change the gas company . Not only we r the sufferers many customers suffering same problem .please try to take the action on them.
        An Spurthi Gas Agency exists in Alwal, Secunderabad, India

        It has all sorts of Problems

        1. Nobody is lifting the phone- 91+[protected] /[protected]As per BSNL both line are either Engaged or Not Working or Temporarly disconnected or Disconnected and

        2. Supervisors like Ramulu ([protected]) and his subordinates who have the responsiblity of delievering the gas cylinders to user and not delievering properly on time and

        3. I have already booked before 1 Months, but still not yet recieved the cylinder

          I have applied for a new INDANE connection to The Pioneer Cons Co-Op Stores, No.4 Dutta Para Lane, Bhadrakali, Hooghly, West Bengal (Code[protected]Phone[protected] and they have issued me a Registration Slip No. WB02 : 392070 dated 01.02.06.

          I regret to inform you that till today I have not obtained the new connection though I have made a vigorous follow-up with the Pioneer Cons Co-Op Stores and as a result I am suffering everyday.

          I, therefore, request you to kindly advise the above authority to supply the new connection, which is a long over-due, and I am sure that you will be honouring me to respond my grivance.

          I sincerely inform you that if I do not have any respond from your end within ten days against my grivance, I do not have any other options but to INFORM MY GRIVANCE TO THE PRESS.

          I applied for a gas connection in SPICK N SPAN Gas agency Distributor indane gas kullu . I got a leeter from company that your connection has been come to distributor office kullu from where we can collect gas connection. But when we arrived there they told us to come on monday i.e after 3 days . Again when i got there they told me that they doesnt had regulators so come in the evening . Again i go there but the reply was that you will have to wait for 1 more week . When i ranged them up today after 1 week as promised by the emploees of the distributor, they told me today that i will have to wait 1 more week . That they had make several customers a fool. I would request you to take some severe action against them and we should get our gas connection as fast as we can.

              Sir,
              Sincerly the following matters I like to bring on your notice:-
              1- I the sufferor the connection no. 8814 booked my gas for the cylinder in "Mayank gas service , Krishna Nagar, Mathura" on dated[protected].
              2- According to the rule one should book his gas after 21 days of the previous booking. As I was seriously ill, I sent my friend Dharmendra to "Mayank Gas service" for booking of cylinder. Manish Gautam, the person employed there at the right time saw the computer and told him to come on the next day dated[protected].
              3- Then on[protected] I myself have gone there for the booking but the same person Manish Gautam again told me to come on next day dated[protected].
              Sir a lot of irregularities and cheatings happening in "Mayank gas service , Krishna Nagar, Mathura". It has become there daily practice such are followings:-
              1- In the serial no. 1 just you try to understand, They have knowingly delayed one day (The manual entry filled in gas card[protected] because they can avoid the costumer one day from booking. Cheating of the man employed there in the present day light is proper injustice to costumer Still knowingly. I tolerated it as.
              2- In serial no. 2 if the booking according in[protected] then on[protected] the 21 days will be completed. In this situation they have returned my friend Dharmendra on[protected] without any booking. It is quite injustice.
              3- In the serial 3 When I myself have gone for the booking manish Gautam had behaved me in the same manner. Then when I have made him rememberded that the rule "21 days must be covered and I fulfill the require time. Then Manish Gautam had shouted at me telling that you got cylinder on[protected] according to it your 21 days will be fulfilled on[protected]. Then you can only get the cylinder.
              4- Then I requested them to show the rule regulation book written by the authority of IOCL at that time other one employee named Naveen Asthana snached my gas book from Manish Gautam, threw it on me by shouting at me and said that We are the IOCL, who is IOCL?
              Sir, I came to know from other costumer present there that Mr. Pradeep Mathur present M.A.L.A. of Mathura-Vrindavan constituency is its owner. Thats why under his banner these emplyees fearlessly illbehave the innocent costumer.They do not hesitate even cheating us. MALA Pradeep Mathur has given them full protection so that those fellows can earn more money by unfairmeans and supply the lion's share to MLA Mr. Pradeep Mathur.
              Following are the least of their cheatings:-
              They sell gas cylinder to shopkeeper, Halwais, factories, hoarding of gas cylinder they take out the gas, cheating the costumer in weighing also, entry of card in wrong date, to sell gas cylinder to the shopkeeper illeagally selling gas in market selling of cylindermore then 10 rupees each in comparision to real rate. They are making these malpractice in numbers and making illegal money. Thus, we are the sufferors.
              Sir, besides, they behaved the costumer in very illmanner, shouting, throwing the gas card, even threaten for beating, those are the daily happenings. These, they are doing due to the illigal protection of MLA Pradeep Mathur.
              That's why, I earnestly request you to investigate the corruption daily occuring in"Mayank gas service , Krishna Nagar, Mathura" It is advisable the licence must be cancelled because the ownership of Pradeep Mathur in Mayank Gas Agency is a misfortune for the thousands of innocent costumers. And in these circumstances there is no chance of welfare of costumer.

                The Company retailer M/s Chokhawani Gas Agency, Nawalgarh Dist - Jhunjhunu (Rajasthan) was involved in many scams of LPG Indane distribution, Issuing of New Connection, Maintenance, Indane Storage, Indane Pricing, Delivery, etc. from long time.

                Many Complaints were already launched in area office, Jaipur from time to time from different reputed customers. But area office has not taken any action against them, every time they have supported the Company retailer because o[censored]nknown reason.

                All people's belong to Nawalgarh are troubled from retailer, they have done complaint to local administration, IOCl Adminsistration, Petroleum Ministry etc. but no one Can come for helping.

                Local administration, IOCl Adminsistration, Petroleum Ministry are croupt.

                If any possibility for Cancellition his dealership and appoint a new retailer in the area please give your valuable suggestion.

                Dear Sir,
                I have applied for new connection of Indane cooking gas in las 20 December2008.In this manner the Renu Enterprises give me letter by hand but told me that you have to speed post this offer letter of gas connection to your home address and afford this fee of speed post by applicant. Now 16 Jan.2009 they collect my offer letter from and demanding for Rs. 3750/- . I want this this was fair pactices or not of IOC.
                becasuse delear employ reply that we have to sell the IOC Gas Chullah and pipe and other articles.
                Please reply me as early as possible.

                Dear Sir,
                I wonder that in this E world when everybody is net/web compliant still why the Govt servents stay far far behind the race, when there is the convenience to book a refill thru SMS from the cell phone than still why these govt people do not damn care about this & do not pay any attention to the bookings thru SMS.
                There is an instance which happened with me I am used to book my gas refill on the No. 56969 supplied by these gas agencies & the Co. even sending SMS for the refill these people damn care to pay any attention to the people using this service for booking a refill.
                I do not know why these Govt people have made themselves not to work for the betterment of the public rather they are just interested to right their work than the public grievances.
                once i mailed to compliened aginist bindu gas agencies aluva, ernakulam, kerala, i booked my
                cylider on 6th feb but they are not delivery. they told me they are issuing the gas only date basis not
                no basis what is the logic in this plese adice to give the delivery they are very bad service here news papers are reporting about there . they delying delivery of cylider 35 to 50 days.

                in our area satyshel gas agnecies niranzapur deherdun uttarakhand is making riduculus demand for asking voter id or any document which ever they feel like and harass the customers by turning them down and doing such activitites which are not permissible in law of land
                I jai sen working in Ludhiana, Punjab from more than 8 years in the same company. Basically I belongs to U.P, Gorakhpur. Here I have no proof of resident here in Ludhiana because I am living at Rented address from more than 8 years, where as I have proof of my permanent address. But company is ready to give me a certificate of working and resident address on its Letter Head. The company is Limited and have been establised from more than 50 Years.
                To get a connection I visited at one of your dealer "BACHAN GAS SERVICE" St No 17, Maid Colony, New Shimla Puri, Ludhiana. and ask for the same. But Dealer have refused to accept the same(Proof at company letter head). Now please guide me what should I do to get a GAS Connection????

                I received an offer letter dt.22.06.09(based on my booking no: 9101 dt.27.05.09) for new connection from Fuel Centre(Code No:[protected], 1 Feeder Road, Rathtala, Belgharia, Kolkata 700056, West Bengal. Since I have a new oven presented by my relative, I wrote a letter to the distributor to supply me the gas cylinder and regulator. But they told that I have to produce the voucher for the oven presented by my relative and then they will inspect the oven before supplying me the new gas connection. Is there any rule in Indian Oil Corporation that unless the customer purchases new oven from the distributor, they will inspect the oven or I have to produce the voucher for oven to the distributor before sypply of gas connection.

                To the best of my knowledge, the Co's responsibility is only for Gas Cylinder and the Regular provided by the distributor and not for the oven. Then how they informed the customer like this. This is nothing but a indirect harrassment / insisting for purchasing oven from the distributor.

                Your comments and advice to the local distributor is solicited under intimation to me to the email provided herein.

                The Company retailer M/s Lakshmangarh Gas Services Agency, Lakshmangarh Dist - Sikar, M/s Chokhawani Gas Agency, Nawalgarh Dist - Jhunjhunu (Rajasthan) & many more in this district, were involved in many scams of LPG Indane distribution, Issuing of New Connection, Maintenance, Indane Storage, Indane Pricing, Delivery, etc. from long time.

                Many Complaints were already launched in area office, Jaipur from time to time from different reputed customers. But neither area offices nor DSO offices has taken any strict action against them, every time they have directly or indirectly supported these Company retailers because of what reasons till date we didnt know.

                All people's belong to these two districts were troubled from these retailers, they have done time to time complaint to local administration, IOCl Adminsistration, Petroleum Ministry etc. but no one can come for help or any solution.

                Local administration, IOCl Administration, Petroleum Ministry all were blind & dumb .

                Rajasthan Patrika & Dainik Bhaskar Shekhawati edition both of them News Papers time to time raise all these problems till date but all is wien & worth of important time.

                If any possibility for Cancellition these dealerships and appoint a new retailers in these areas else take strict action against them Your comments and advice to the these distributors is solicited & also welcome for all valuable suggestions from whom suffers from these distributors in these region.

                I would like to bring a public litigation against M.V Enterprises Avadi., The Gas Agency involved in many scam. I have booked my gas on[protected]. It almost 20 days, still now they have not supplied me cylinder. This the complaint of many customer, the reason behind delay in supply is due to illegally supply cylinder gas to hotel and other small scale company in return the get commission of Rs. 600 for each gas supply of cylinder, this has been known fact to each of the resident of Avadi.

                The Agency was involved in many scams of LPG Indane- Issuing of New connection, Maintenance, Indane Storage, Indane Pricing, Delivery Etc. for longtime.

                Many Complaints were already launched in this area from time to time from different reputed customers, but still no action has been taken. All people’s belong to Avadi are troubled by this retailer, They have done complaint to local police station. Still no action action has been taken.


                I sincerely request you taken necessary action if not people will loose confident on Indian Oil corporation admistration.

                I am having LPG connection and the gas supplier is M/S Ayswarya Gas at Cochin-5. The supply of gas is irregular. It is very difficult to contact them on telephone. My consumer No. is 1731. I am due to get the gas on 6th Oct. Everytime contact them-after about 10 try only once I get them on phone-the reply is that U will get the cylender next day. the next day has not yet come. Is there a shortage of gas ? or is it any other reason? kindly respond.

                Sir, I have been transferred from NABARD, Sikkim RO Gangtok to Maharashtra Regional Office Pune on long term basis and I have transffered the LPG connection from Gangtok to Pune. The Transfer Voucher has been submitted to Urja Indane, on 16/`10/2010 alonwith the requisite deposit amount (Rs. 2853/- )at Parvati, Pune and they have given me the regulator and a pipe. Said they will deliver the cylinders in the evening to my quarters. But four days has since gone and the cylinders are yet to be delivered. I have been contacting them on phone and most of the time the phones are engaged or off the hook and when connected they will sent the same immediately but nothing is being done upto date, is this the attitude of the Indane distributors or the indian mentality that we have.

                kindly do the needful to rectify such harrassment to the consumers who have full faith in the apex corporation like Indian Oil

                  Problem is they wanted to show the 'Ration Card ' for transfer. I don't have ration card.

                  I provide all necessary documents, but now use.

                    I have only 1 cylinder connection, have applied for a 2nd one long time back, still haven't received it. Also always the telephone no. provided by them is busy or they never pick up. Their service is not at all satisfactory. It causes serious problems. Please do something to improve the service.
                    i had booked gas through tomogas service on 9th Sep 09 and they gave me booking no 26 however the veena gas service delivery staff has told me that they have mot recieved any booking for my number i. e VG 27287. i have been unable to contact the agency office for booking on telephone because even after 50-60 times trying to connect them, the only answer is this telephone no is busy please try after some time...i am realy fed up with this.being a working lady it is not possible to personally visit them for gas booking.

                    kindly help me to get the cylinder delivery and advise the veena gas agency staff to cooperate with the public and nopt put their telephones busy delibrately.

                      I am one of your LPG customers having my account with M/s. Arjuna Indane Agency, Chennai-600 099 with Customer Number 198. I would like to bring to your kind attention that my refill booking is not being promptly attended to and I get my refill only once in one and a half months time(a customer having Double Bottle Connection) and that too the person who is delivering the refill denies to sign in the DOMESTIC GAS CUSTOMER CARD which I had PURCHASED for a consideration of Rs.15/- from the Dealer. Here, I have my own doubt that what fun is there to purchase a book for a value of Rs.15/- when the same is not being put into use !

                      Also, now at about 11:45 Hrs. I tried to explain the matter to the dealer over phone; but to my surprise and dismay the lady who started the conversation has kept the receiver ABRUPTLY without responding to my call.

                      I humbly and sincerely request you to look into the matter and do the needful. I hereby request you direct the dealer concerned to book a refill for me at once. I regret for the inconvenience caused in the matter but I find this is the alternative left to me.

                      Dear sir,

                      I am residing in Gokak.I have a single cylinder connection with IOC.When ever we ask for refilling he just enters the consumer number in a book, and avoids to enter in Computer.After few remainders only he enters in it in system and delivers after some days even though he is having the stock.This is one thing, another interesting story is next time when we approachs for next refilling he will show the date of delivery in the system and asks us to wait for 30 days. After 30 days same story begins from the begining.Finally he is maintaining around 40 -45 days gap between cylinder to cylinder delivery every time.

                      We would like to know the actual rules regarding the booking and delivery procedures.Whether 30 days should maintained be between booking to booking or how.

Whenever I try to book the cylinder, all four numbers are either continuously busy or temporary out of order. Sometimes they don't even bother to pick up & respons to the call. I complained about this by visiting their office on many occasion. But they don't bother to respond and improve the matter.

                            our LPG refill connection is suplled by Shanti indane,WZ-427, sadh nagar gali NO-18K, palam colony, new delhi,i have booked of my gas 9 feb 2008, and today is 25 feb 2008,most of the time the agency's staff will not lift the phone or they will give some vague reply or assure falsely it will be sent but again there will be no supply.we also have to spent a lot on making phone call and visiting the office.This not only disturbs our but also waste lots of time.
                            I request to you please take some strict decision of this company, I always face many problems of every month. I went this company then i seen that this company employ not pick the phone although phone is ringing. they took the receiver under the phone.they not working their duty on properly. this is not any my problems, this problems is every person.

                                  our LPG refill connection is supllied by m/s kalpana indane gas agency, 33 service road, Vijaynaga-2nd stage ,Bangalore. For the last 1 to 2 years we are seriously facing problem in supply of LPG. Despite of booking much before in advance i.e almost above 20-25 days we do not get timely refill.And on follow up either most of the time the agency's staff will not lift the phone or they will give some vague reply or assure falsely it will be sent but again there will be no supply.
                                  The cost of refill has gone quite high and along with that we also have to spent a lot on making phone call and visiting the office and even then there is uncertainty in supply, we have to argue, beg and along with that go with lots of tensions and anxiety for getting refill.This not only disturbs our life but also waste lots of time.
                                  Once again in this month we have filed the booking and after so many follow up we are informed that booking is cancelled and reason given is door locked where as the agency people are very much aware and have been informed specifically that they have to supply after 4.30 p.m or on sunday and this they have been doing for the last 4-5 years but every time on pretix of locked door they will delay or cancell the booking.
                                  Please note we are taking the supply from above agencies for almost 8 yrs and we are really not able to know what is the reason of spoiling their service and harassing the consumer.
                                  Is state govt ,central govt, consumer forum agencies or Indane office going to come forward and take measures to controll and check the agencies to save the consumer from harassment and inconvenience.

                                  Even I am facing the same problem. When I visited their office they gave two new numbers. After calling those numbers, I get a answer that those numbers are emergency numbers[protected], and another number I dont remember). I have 6 numbers printed on the gas book, but nothing seem to work.

                                  Dear Sir/Mam,

                                  I just want to bring this problem to you. My Consumer id is 19608, and i have taken connection from Kalpana Gas agency (No.33, RPC Remco Layout, Service Road, Opp. BTS Bus Depot, Vijayanagar 2nd Stage, Bangalore 40- Phone Number[protected],[protected],[protected]. I booked my cylinder through computer booking 20 days back and when enquired over phone after 5 days we were told that it was booked now and would be delivered within another 5 days. There was no answer when asked about computer booking done previously. If computer booking is not taken into account, then why do we have it as an option? Contacting agency member over phone for booking is another big problem. It’l be either engaged or no response.Even after all these, though booked over phone since 15 days we have yet not received the cylinder. I am writing to you because we are facing this every time we book a cylinder. So request you to take immediate action on this and hope we will receive gas cylinder ASAP.

                                  They told me that you can't book it now. And ask me to book after a week and i book after a week.
                                  6th March 2009 I booked and they said after 4 day it will be delivered.

                                  Even after 21st March 2009 i did not get the cylinder and when I visited eth Agency, I was shocked to hear that it was already delivered. I did not receive it?
                                  Then they asked me to write a complaint to manager and he will issue the Cylinder. till today 27th March 2009 no reply from them and I believe that even the Agency is making money by Selling eth Cylinder in Black market.

Everyday i spent 2 hours to remind the same . answer is simple No power . can one look & recetify these kind of Issues please

                                  kalpana agency vijaynagar Bangalore/LPG cylinder — refill cylinder not delivered on time

                                  Every month after booking a cylinder, we have to visit the agency atleast two times to shout at them after which they deliver the cylinder,the period of wait for the cylinder being 1 week to 10 days.There is no responsible person in the office to give a proper response and the replies are vague assuring us that they would deliver it the next day and they fail to do so. This has been happening from over a year now and we dont really know whom to complain.
                                  I feel that there is lot of Black market sale of cylinders going on in this agency and i am not sure which level of people are involved.
                                  I request you to please check on this and set things right as the common man should not suffer because of some greedy dogs.

                                  our LPG refill connection is supllied by m/s kalpana indane gas agency, 33 service road, Vijaynaga-2nd stage, Bangalore. For the last 6 months we are seriously facing problem in supply of LPG. Despite of booking much before in advance i.e almost above 20-25 days we do not get timely refill.And on follow up either most of the time the agency's staff will not lift the phone or they will give some vague reply or assure falsely it will be sent but again there will be no supply.
                                  The cost of refill has gone quite high and along with that we also have to spent a lot on making phone call and visiting the office and even then there is uncertainty in supply, we have to argue, beg and along with that go with lots of tensions and anxiety for getting refill.
                                  Once again in this month we have filed the booking and after so many follow up we are informed that booking is cancelled and reason given is door locked where as the agency people are very much aware and have been informed specifically that they have to supply after 3.30 p.m or on sunday and this they have been doing for the last 4-5 years but every time on pretix of locked door they will delay or cancel the booking.
                                  Please note we are taking the supply from above agencies for almost 12yrs and we are really not able to know what is the reason of spoiling their service and harassing the consumer.
                                  I request the concerned authority to take appropriate action to save the consumer from harassment and inconvenience.

                                    Dear Sir,
                                    I am getting Indane cooking gas supply through the distributor "Cooking Gas Agency, Malavia Avenue
                                    I street, Thiruvanmiyur, Chennai". The cylinder lasts for more than a month for me. But everytime, I book for my refill, the staff informs me that my gas supply will be delayed because the mandatory 21 days is not over.When I question this by offering to show the receipt and the date, they ignore this and they continue to act as they want. This gives me doubt whether they are diverting the supply to any other person in my name. For example My cooking gas supply for the last 3 months are dated as 27.10.2007,11.12.2007 and 17.1.2008

                                    They are not prepared to show their record. I strongly feel that I.O.C. should enforce the required procedure and record keeping so that this type of harassment to the customer is avoided.

                                      I AM CONSUMER OF M/S CHIRAG , INDANE GAS DISTRIBUTOR AT SILIGURI. MY CONSUMER NO. IS 23606.THE FOLLOWING IRREGULARITIES IS OBSERVED

                                      1. Mobile for SMS booking is kept on switch off mode most of the times.
                                      2, My last booking through SMS was 060208. It is not attended. Finally booked over telephone and the date recorded as 080208.
                                      3. Telephone nos recorded in the display board at the office are very old.
                                      4. "SMS service available" is not displayed at the office.
                                      5. Type of booking is not recorded in the delivery slip.It should be SMS or Telephone or Counter Booking.
                                      6. Date of delivery is not mentioned in the delivery slip.
                                      7. Next Booking on or after .........should be mentioned in the delivery slip.
                                      8.Name , address, telephone no., email address of the area officer is not displayed in the office.

                                      I hope if suggessitions made above are incorporated in the delivery slip the number of complaint all over the country can be redused drastically.

                                      Further:

                                      I visited the office on 22.02.2008 and dialed the telephone no.s and mobile no.s of the distributor through my mobile in the presence of the office staff and found that all the instruments are kept in the silent mode. Although I am getting the ring tone but there is no sound in the office.Which shows the attitude of the distributor and the level of customer service.The office staff failed to give a reply for the reasons for keeping the instruments in the silent mode.

                                      Finally i discussed the matter for delivery of gas at my residence and the reply came "it will take 5-6 days more". But in the evening the gas was supplied at my residence.How it can be possible? This requires a through investigation.



                                      The best way is start the booking through SMS and acknowledgement should be sent to the consumer.

                                      In my case when i sent the SMS i received the message that "Respected Customer, you are already having Booking, cannot Process your request". surprisingly i have not sent the booking request, further when somehow we manage to get through our distributor phone, then our Gas booking was made, and no mention related to already existing request was made.

                                      I have no idea how to get through these problems.
                                      Sir, I am subscriber of Gas Agency Delhi State Civil Supply, J- Block, Ashok Vihar. Last month I received my gas cylinder from Delhi State Civil Supply . But when this month I booked my cykinder I was informed that my gas connection has been transferred to Gulabi Bagh Gas Agency, Shshtri Nagar and he gave me a phone number 23641651. When I dial this number no body is attending my phone. When I personally went there my consumer number is not correct there When I told him look by name he refused to this. Both Delhi State Civil Supply and Gulabi Bagh Gas Agency is harassing me. Sir, I am a Govt. Employee and currently i had my leg operation. A rod is inserted in my leg and I cannot even walk. Inspite of that both agencies are harrasing me and not sending my gas cylinder.

                                      Customer service of M/s Chirag is very worst. Staffs are indiscpline and they have no manner to talk on telephone. Action should be taken against the company.
                                      i have doing the call on the no. of [protected] cstumer care will pic the ph.and asking the phone no.of distributer and then asking consumer no.and then at last she said at the we are failed to provide to you service plzz contact at the gas agency.

                                      i dont know wat the hell is this...why dont they book our gas

                                        I booked a lpg cylinder telephonically on the 24 hr hepline
                                        on 07.02.08.This cylinder was delivered on 21.02.08.by the
                                        deliveryman of M/S Golf Green Gas Service.The cylinder which
                                        was delivered is absolutely empty.This I found out afer I
                                        reached my residence on 21.02.08.The cylinder was delivered
                                        in my absence and the domestic help being ignorant in these
                                        matters failed to notice that an empty cylinder was delivered
                                        instead of a filled one.
                                        Subsequntly I got in touch with the Supplier and spoke to his
                                        representative Mr.Nikhil who said that the supplier will be
                                        unable to take up the matter as this was a matter concerning
                                        the Consumer and the deliveryman.
                                        I request the good offices of Indane to kindly look into the matter
                                        and take action against the guilty to protect the good name of
                                        your organisation.Malparctices such as these if not curbed with
                                        utmost stringency will further encourage the dishonest.

                                        The gas agencies in Mohali are very corrupted and this issue need to address as soon as possible, I am trying to get the gas connection since last year and all agencies want me to purchase a gas stove cost Rs. 1500 to 1700 along with the new gas connection, these stoves could be purchased in the open market in just Rs 450 to 600.
                                        Why should I pay for the worthless gas stove along with the new gas connection and according to law, it’s not mandatory to purchase the gas stove along with the new gas connection.

                                        Indane LPG — Ration card proof for delivery

                                        Our family did not need a ration card and hence we did not apply for one for the last 13 years. But in the recent past our Indane distributor has started insisting on showing the ration card at the time of delivery. They refuse to deliver since we don't possess a family ration card.

                                        The civil supplies authorities are not issuing new ration cards now. I need help from Indian Oil Corpn. in understanding why the ration card proof is being insisted upon the consumers. I have been having this LPG connection for the past 12 years. This is putting a lot of pressure on me & family. If the intention is to verify the authenticity of residential address, there are other documents like BSNL bill, Voter ID, etc.,
                                        Appreciate an answer to this from IOC.

                                        Earlier I was a customer of Tirupati Balaji Gas Agency, Rohini Sector-5, Delhi based on my the then residencial address at B-289, Sector-7, Rohini, Delhi-85. When I shifted to Nangloi area in Delhi, the Balaji Gas Agency continued me door delivery service. But in the Nov'2008, the Balaji Gas Ag. sealed and my connection was sent to Rohini Enterprises, Sec-7, Rohin, Delhi. Rohini Enterprises does not have door delivery service in Nangloi and I have to go to take cylinder on my own.It disrupts my regular routine and job.
                                        In the above circumstances, I requested Rohini Ent. to transfer my connection to Nangloi Gas Agency. But they(Rohini Ent.) are not transferring my connection.
                                        I, therefore, request you to kindly look into the matter and pass an order to Rohini Ent. to transfer my connection to Nangloi Gas Agency and oblige.

(jharkhand) I want to draw the attention the so called "ministry" to this matter I m working man and initially had a connection of "Bharat gas" when I got transfred from one place to other I got my connection transferred too, but I shocked to know that in jhumritellaiya neither Dharampal agency(Indane gas agency) nor (Sri ram H.P. gas agency) is accepting this transfer I am suffering from last two month I dont have any option accept to go hotel for fooding. I am a income tax payee emloyed to a private firm if these kind of problem is faced by me then for common ppl only god know's

                                        This is something really serious. Arsh Indane Tarsikka (Amritsar) is creating a nuisance to the customers by delaying the delivery of cylinders. A cylinder is never booked before 21 days and delivery is furthermore delayed to 12 to 14 days or even more.These cylinders are openly available in black market.Perhaps this whole scam is occuring under the very patronage of Indane officials. That's why the agency owner is not concerned with anything and gives a dammn to the customer greivance redressal.

                                        I had a Indiane connection in Nainital.I recently got transferred to Pune, nearby to my home there is a Bharat Gas Agency.I asked the indiane to cancel the connection.They cancelled my connection and asked to submit the cylinder and the regulator.In return they refunded me 1400 rs and Cancelled documents mentioning the Name of the Bharat Gas Agency where i have to submit those cancelled documents.They told, you have to submit these documents there in Bharat Gas Agency along with 1400 Rs + some form need to be filled with the current address proof, In return of that i'll get a Bharat Gas Connection.But, when i'm trying to submit those in Bharat Gas Agency, they people are not accepting it.Please help and guide me.
