On 12June,2010, I have booked an Indane gas cylinder with IOC call center helpdesk [protected] and was given a confirmed booking number. But till today(30-June-2010) my local IOC distributor LT Distributor, Jodhpur Park, Kolkata has not delivered the same. My indane consumer no is 21328. From 23rd June,10 onwards I have made series of complaints to the same help desk number on this, but of no avail. But when I asked directly my distributor on 29th June,10, they said that there is no booking in your name on 12th June. However, they mentioned that they themselves have made a booking by themselves on 25th June,2010 on my behalf in lieu of false claim that they tried to delivered the gas on a certain date in between but it was not received by us.I can tell you this distributor is involved in series of malpractices in my locality and there are enough complaints from my neighbors in surrounding place.

Looking for your help to stop such malpractices time and again in this regard

SUB : A leaky Gas Cylinder recently supplied by your Dealer, North End Gas Centre, Prasadpur,
11 Rail Gate, Prasadpur, Barasat, N. 24 Pgs., and the trouble that Centered around!!

REF : Domestic Consumer No. T653. : Our letter dated Feb. 7’11 on the subject item.


Dear IOL,

We are one of your long standing Customers, using your product for over the last 40 years. Unfortunately, our complaint dated Feb. 7’11 on the subject item (Supplying a leaky Gas Cylinder, extremely rude and uncivilized behavior of the deputed Technician and employee, Shri Swapan De**, of your Dealer) remained unanswered till date! In fact, our several complaints in the past also against the very same dealer, that centered around irregular supply, delivery of a Cylinder and collecting money w/o a cash memo or receipt, rude and objectionable behavior, demands, and the like by some of the Dealer’s representatives remained unresolved, and we have never heard from you in those directions in reply! Many of your other customers in the Area also lodged similar complaints against the said Dealer, w/o any response and relief from your end. What is wrong with the world famous IOL? Is a dealer dearer to the IOL than the people, IOL’s consumers?

Could it be possible, dear IOL, that you have no control at all over your Dealer/s! Or, could it be possible that taking advantage of your silence (or, indirect compliance, if I may term it that way) your Dealer, without the slightest respect for law and order, is flouting the Govt. regulations, code and norms! Otherwise,

1) How could you keep yourself so unconcerned on such a sensitive offence like that of supplying a
Leaky Cylinder through your authorized Dealer that could have caused a serious fire hazard, and possible loss to lives?
2) How could your authorized dealer ignore to pick up customers Telephone Call, especially our Emergency Calls, one after another, on February 5, afternoon, that centered around your Leaky Gas Cylinder, supplied by your authorized Dealer?
3) When there is no dearth why we, the regular and bonafied Domestic Customers, do not get our cylinder on time, while the pretty FAST FOOD DEALERS around flourish with their uninterrupted supply and brisk business?
4) During the festive times while the pretty FAST FOOD DEALERS around flourish, we, your regular
Domestic Consumers, have to suffer due to insufficient supply, as usually claimed by your dealer!
We wonder as to how the system and the set-up under our welfare Govt. keep the pretty FAST
FOOD DEALERS so active and carefree while the Domestic Consumers continue to suffer?
5) As demanded in our last letter of Feb. 7’11, are we not entitled to compensation for the loss due to a leaky Gas Cylinder that did not contain full load of Gas? You remained contemptuously silent on this point also! How do you ignore your responsibility in this direction? You collected the full price for the Cylinder without providing the full load of GAS.




6) In our last letter of Feb. 7 we enquired if your Dealer’s Mechanic, Shri Swapan De** was entitled
to a Service Charge for fixing a Leaky Cylinder, supplied by your Dealer, as demanded by him,
and for which he refused to issue any receipt, whatsoever, and finally started howling, grudging and
even threatening us! Strangely enough, you did neither answer to our query nor take any action
against this offensive attitude, nor apologized for the same! If, however, he was entitled to, then
please let us know the prescribed amount, and advise you authorized dealer to kindly collect it
against a valid receipt and oblige.
7) In our last letter of Feb. 7’11 we also requested you to kindly let us know as to how to check the
quantity of Gas in a cylinder Delivered by your Dealer. Like many of your other customers, we
have reasons to believe that many a time we are not supplied with a fully loaded Indane Gas
Cylinder!

    Respected sirs,

    I am Padmavathi residing at No.4, 4th cross street, lakshmipuram, Thiruninravur, Chennai - 602024. as a consumer for IOC No.22409 till now from 02.05.2002. My agency at Srinivasa gas agency - Indane distributors.

    The connection which I am using right now is in my cousin's name Surendar Rao. What is the procedure to change it to my name? what is the amount I should pay for it?

    Hi,
    My consumer number is 12726. I am holding Indane LPG connection from last five years at Madhu Gas agency, Mayur Vihar Phase-3, Delhi. I have changed my rented accomodation in the same area & in the same society.

    Now I want to change address from one flat number to another of same address & society. I have been submiting my rent agreement to Madhu gas agencu but they are not accepting saying we would also require photo ID prooof of landlord. I have been giving electricity bill as proof of house which i have taken on rent but agency members are not accepting. Could you please guide my about the process? My land lady is not willing to give her photo id proof for my gas connection. What should i do now? I would appreciate a response in this regard.

      When we have taken a new connections through "Ranee Enterprises, 44 Perumal Nagar, 2nd Street, Madipakkam, Nanganallur-600061.Phone Number is 22241826, 22240951" for Indane gas, they forced us to take a Gas Stove "Ladies Finger" even though i said i have a better Gas stove with us. They charged me arround 4000 amd odd Rupee for a connections which included the stove, a Apron and other things which i never asked for . When i refused to take, they said we cannot give the connection untill u take those additional things and pay for it. The Lady who is the MD for this Agency said its IOC who is giving this and they are asking us fto give this to the customers and she cant do anything about it. I want to know if that is true, if not Please do take some action against this Agency.

        Dear Sir,
        Sub : Excess money charged for Gas Cylinder by Nataraj Enterprises, Yelahanka Bangalore
        Ref : 1. Invoice No. 19571 dtd. 23.06.10 for Rs. 325.20
        2. Consumer No. 21696
        I have placed order for Gas Cylinder replacement on 22.06.2010 and they have raised the above bill on 23.06.10 for Rs. 325.20 and visited our house for delivery on same day but returned due to door lock.
        He delivered on 26.06.2010 with the same invoice and demanded for Rs.361 (rate revised from 26.06.2010). The Manager of Nataraj Enterprises demanded me to pay the revised rate and he arrogantly informed me to complaint with anybody. Ultimately I paid under protest.
        Please let me know whether he can collect the old rate as the booking date and billing date earlier than the revised rate date and the logic as well as the ethic behind his motive.

              DELIVERY BOYs of M/s.KTS ENTERPRISES is demanding Rs.365 for the new
              increased billed Gas Cylinder. Actual bill value comes to Rs.353/- including tax, he is asking extra
              Rs.12/- for I Floor delivery, We agreed to pay Rs.7 extra total Rs.360/-, he is shouting us.
              Kindly inform M/s.KTS Enterprises to give instructions to their delivery boys to take the reasonable
              charges and not to shout at anybody.

              Indane Gas — Great careless by delivery boy

              My consumer no is m-18579 and our gas agency is Verma gas Agency, Mandawali Unchepar, delhi-92
              As me n my husband both are working so we gave keys of our home to our neighbour to receive gas cylinder from delievery boy, so that he can take empty one n connect the filled one but this time we escape from great mishappening.
              Delievry boy calls on my cell at that time i was in office to know exact location of my house at 12.30 noon as my house is in conjusted area i told him the location n request him to go first at my neighbour's place.As i told him he first goes to the neighbour place they open my house and from there he take the empty one n connect the filled one, he checked the gas weither its working properly or not but a he didnt off the knobs of cylinder n gas n went away and when i came back at home at 7 in the evening whole building is smelling with L.P.G. and when i open the doors of my house its like entering in swimming pool of L.P.G.because knobs are on for last 6 hour so one can imagine
              that "HOW CARELESS HE IS"..Any thing can happen, we escape from great MISHAPPENING...WHY THIS COMPANY APPOINTS SUCH FOOLISH PEOPLE, ..who will be reponsible if anything happens...i request u to take some quick action on this matter.

                We are Indane customers (Customer no 32875). The distributor is M/s Flame Craft, 538 Block N, New Alipur, Kolkata 53. (Ph 2400 0956/2222/3042 3042/[protected]
                We booked gas on 23.06.2010 vide booking no. 14639. We have a standing instruction for delivery before 9am between Monday to Friday & anytime on Saturday as both o[censored]s are working.
                On 24.06 the deliveryman came after the stipulated time, so the gas could not be received. On contacting the distributor we were told that it would be delivered on next day i.e.25.06. But he didn't come.
                On 26th i.e. Saturday the deliveryman Mr Sanjib came with a computer generated bill where originally the price was printed as Rs328.70 and one stamped price of Rs365.10 was affixed above it.Surprisingly there was no signature of distributor's representative which was supposed to be. However the deliveryman claimed the stamped one as the price was hiked from Friday midnight.
                We tried to reason him and his office -in -charge Mr Avijit (over phone) that the booking was made on 23.06 -- long before price hike and on their part there were two lapses: (1) they could not come within the instructed time & (2) they did not come on the next day in spite of their commitment.
                Because of these reasons they can not charge the hiked price.
                But they turned to a deaf ear and took the extra amount.
                We seek explanation and proper step from the authority.

                  Hi

                  I have booked gas at Indane Gas Agency(Anand Gas, HAL, Old airport road, bangalore) on 9th of June and they are yet to deliver the Gas cylinder. I have followed up with them and the distributor in my area many times, but it is close to 15 days, they are yet to deliver the replacement cylinder.

                  My cosumer number is 63716. Can someone look into this

                  We also take from them. They are complete cheat. They take the booking, if you call after the due date they say no booking made. When booking is made they don't give the reference number. You need to force them to get reference number. One time they delivered cylinder with out gas in it. The seal every thing is intact. Complain to them make no difference. Everyone in my area have similar issue with this agent.

                    I am a customer of indane gas agency, under the distributor name M/S VIJAY GAS SERVICE,address: A/348, KOELNAGAR, ROURKELA, DIST. SUNDARGARH, ORISSA.science Jan/2000.My consumer no.Y-6918,sv. no-282726, dated-31/01/2000.
                    2. I have logged complaint about leak of gas at regulator and the gas stove supplied by your distributor science last two month and several telephone, personal contact to them to save us from unseen hazards . But, yet we have not got any service from your distributo's.
                    3.So, I request you to save my family lives by servicing the above said matter within 3 days , and to avoid me to go from consumer court and unpleasant relations within us.
                    4.I will be appreciate if you solve my problem as quick as possible.

                      I'm a LPG consumer with M/S Kleen Gas Services, 26 - SCR, Kharavela Nagar, Unit - III, Bhubaneswar - 751001, ORISSA, Consumer no is KG - 196, Name - Pabitra Manna, Now I Have shifted form Bhubaneswar to Mecheda, East Medinipur, WB. I want to transfer it to Mecheda. I diposited cylinder & all documents on 01.08.2009 and received TV (no - [protected]) as well as. Then I deposited all the documents here at my nearest INDIAN OIL LPG distributor ( at K.T.P.P Employees Cooperative Socity) on 03.03.2010. They sent the documents to M/S Kleen Gas on 06.03.2010 by regd. post (Regd no 3580, dt. 06.03.2010) for confirmation. But no confirmation has been send from M/s Kleen Gas as yet. I am requesting you to send the confirmation report as quick as possible.

                          Sir,

                          We have complain against the Indane Gas Dealer Nitin Enterprises, Khajekalan, Patna City, Patna 800 008 (Bihar) that there is a provision for booking on telephone also but no resposibility has been taken by above mentioned dealer. We have dialed for booking several times a in his office hour from morning to till evening. But no body has received the phone. How a consumer inform him even in emergency when they will not attended on telephone.

                          We are not giving our name and address as they are not a social elemenet. If you want to know truth then you can dial these No.[protected],[protected] and test the truth.

                            Dear Sir

                            My Family is shifted to Baroda and I am working at Bharuch. I have cancelled my LPG DBC connection at Bharuch on 05th June. I was told that on producing this official LPG DBC transfer letter at Vadodara I will get immidiate connection for DBC ( double bottle connection). I Went to Hari Om Gas agency Ajwa Road for getting this connection on 07th June. I was told by agency owner Regulators are not awailable so we cannot give you connection. you may check after 2 to 3 days. Till now every day I am contacting on phone and my wife visited that agency several times, we are getting the same reply that is regulators are not available and we will not give you connections. On asking can we get regulators from other authorised shop, they denied and told my my not to do so as it is crime.
                            I am in desparate need of Gas cylinder connection as my family is suffering which I am suppose to get it on same day. I seek your guidance to get this issue resolved as early as possible i.e.
                            1) Getting New transffered Indane Gas connection and
                            2) Can I purchase Regulator from some other authorised store and get cylinders from Hari Om Agency?

                              Hi, This complaint is against the Ashok Gas Services, mohaddipur, Gorakhpur.
                              I took a Gas connection (Indane Gas) from Ashok Gas service. But it has been a trouble to deal with these people.

                              1) Their phone numbers provided are always out of order
                              2) if the call gets connected they disconnect without even paying heed to what the caller is trying to say
                              3) If you go to the service station to book cyclinder they demand money/bribe.

                              Kindly help.

                              Today in our locality one un know person visited for ASHOKA GAS SERVICES survey with a cash charge of Rs. 75/- per house, is its true method no one knows, for this yesterday one person gas given us one letter - but as per me its just a false, to earn 75/- from each consumer by making a statement its a survey for subsidy getting started from JANUARY 2014, if its not done the customer will not get.

                              is its given appeal by new letter to each consumer - is its a approved by Gorakhpur authority (DM, SDM)

                              please check its a criminal procedure any one can do to cheat any consumer -

                                I am an original consumer of IOC-Indane LPG (Consumer No.VGS/11373 vide SV.No.5065163 dated 21/11/2002 under Vindhyabasini Gas Service, Shuklah, Civil Lines, Mirzapur). In recent past, because of longer distance, said Distributor of its own initiative took back my SV and issued Transfer Voucher (TTV No.[protected]) on 11/03/2010 advising me to submit it to Padmashree Gas Service, Ganeshgunj, Mirzapur for easy home-delivery. I accordingly, approached Padmashree Gas Service on 14/03/2010 for submission necessary documents & said TTV for issuance of fresh SV and New Consumer Number. But I was initially ignored and after several reportings was finally refused with a filthy excuse. I represented to The Officer-in-Charge, IOC-Area Office, Allahabad but till dated no action taken against the said corrupted Distributor whose tacit demand of money and kind was refused by me during my submission of said papers on 14/03/2010 and thereafter.

                                I.O.C./Indane LPG — Abnormal delay in supply

                                LPG gas cylinder booked against my Consumer no.14654 with IOC's authorised Gas Agency in Dehradun (Premier Gas Service, Vasant Mkt, Kanwali Road, Dehradun- Tel:[protected]on[protected], but the Gas Cylinder has not been supplied even after full one month and till date(i.e.[protected]. Black marketing and large scale irregularities in gas supply suspected.
                                Would be grateful for intervention and investigation into such abnormal delay in gas supply.

                                IOC, Indane, LPG — Delay in supply of LPG

                                I have a connection with vijay kumar agencies consumer No. 45561, pammal, Chennai, earlier it was with susil agency, old pallavaram, due to administrative reaons IOC had transfer my connection to vijay kumar agencies. Each and every time when i am booking for the replacement they (vijay kumar agency) insisting me to transfer my account to M/s. Saba agency, guindy due to that i am getting the cylinder after 10 to 15 days only. I contacted the IOC, PRO and they said you need not transfer the account and i am given a written representation regarding this before 2 months. For exmaple this time i booked the cylinder on 28.10.2008 till date i.e. 19.11.08 i did not received the cylinder and now also they are tell the same reason and pressuring me to transfer my account. This is repeately happening, till cylinder reaches my house daily i phoned twice to the agency.

                                Hence i am requesting your goodshelf kindly advice the agency accordingly that they have to deliver the cylinder as devlivering to other customers without delay and they do not insist me to transfer my account

                                Several Representations against inaction to TTV No.[protected] dated 11/03/2010 by M/s. Padmashree Gas Service, Ganeshgunj, Mirzapur are unheard; Absolutely No Customer Care; Consumers are harassed, extorted money and kind. Horrible conditions created!

                                  I am a customer of Saradhi Enterprises, North Parur. My
                                  customer I D is 7694. I had booked the gas last some one month back.
                                  But on enquiry at the Agency Office they told that it will be supplied soon. On enquiry to the delivery man one Mr. Vinod he told that the delay caused due to the " Cut in the on line booking"? .The person at the counter did not give the booking number. When I asked why she did not give me the booking number she told me I should have asked for it. I was not satisfied with her reply. When I called today to enquire about when I booked last since I do not remember the date, she also told me that the booking was seen made on 22.6.2010 . But I did not either call or book yesterday since I had already made the booking. This is the third time I am booking over phone since the delivery man does not deliver the gas in time who has been delivering directly upto then.
                                  I therefore request your goodself to please take necessary action to get the gas in time . I am holding two cylinders and the cylinder now being used is about to exhaust completely at any time. Mr. Vinod has taken away the empty cylinder I had kept at the delivery place which is my brother's house.

                                    I am Ashok Ku. Singh residing at Samta Colony, Near Bajar Samiti, Hajipur , Dist.- Vaishali , Bihar , had booked gas cylinder more than 21 days before with Amrapali Gas Agency, at Ambedakar Nagar of Hajipur , Dist. Vaishali , Bihar, with Gas Connection No. 11119.
                                    They had not yet delievered the gas cylinder inspite of several reminders. Please go through the complaint as soon as possible.

                                      This is to inform you that, I have booked for supply of Gas with M/s Chhavi Gas Agency, Roorkee ( Distributor of Indian Oil Corp.) on 28.05.10 Booking No.5433, after visit of 3 times at their office distributor has not provided the Gas cylinder on 18.06.10 my wife has gone at the office of distributor for supply of cylinder, distributor said her to show the book of slip, she has provided the book of slip and distributor snatch the copy booking slip and also maked a new booking on 18.06.10 booking no.5469.

                                      Today on 21.06.10 my wife visited their office about supply of cylinder, the manager of distributor told her that you have already availed cylinder on 18.06.10 due to that we are unable to provide the same on today now you will come after 21 days.

                                      You are requested to kindly take necessary action about said matter.

                                      Indane Gas — Non-supply of cylinder and fraud by Agency

                                      Madhavi Agency, Tolichowki, Hyderabad.

                                      I had booked cylinder on 30th June '09. Since I did not receive the cylinder in the usual time, I called up the Agency. I got a shocking reply that the cylinder has already been delivered on 4th July '09. I understood that the delivery boy has sold my cylinder in black to someone.

                                      I went in person showing the entry in passbook as proof to show that I did not receive it. No one is ready to listen to me. The person in office asked me to check with the delivery boy. I am not sure what is the job of these people who is sitting in the office for. Till date, the issue is not resolved and I have not got my cylinder and on top of it, they are never reachable by phone.

                                        I AM REGULAR USER OF LPG OF INDIAN OIL, INDANE SINCE 1985 AND BEING TRANSFERRED FROM ONE PLCE TO ANOTHER IN INDIA, WORKING AS REGIONAL COMMISSIONER , CMPFO, MINISTRY OF COAL. NOW THE SUPPLYING AGENCY RESHMI GAS AGENCY NAGPUR IS NOT BOOKING CYLLINDER TODAY THOUGH THEY ARE SUPPLYING ME SINCE 2002 HERE . THEY WANT MY RATION CARD NOW OR PHOTOCOPY OF MY PAN CARD AND NOT REGISTERING MY BOOKING FOR LPG CYLINDER NOR ARE THEY SENDING TECHNICIAN TO RECTIFY MDEFECTIVE CYLLINDER AT MY HOME.
