I had indane gas connection bearing No.12775 with Venkatarama indane service code.143830, Kakinada-533003, Visakhapatnam marketing division of andhra pradesh. the dealer is giving troubles to book 2nd cylinder. due to this reason we are facing a lot of inconvenience and troubles i.e., 2-3 days non availability of gas. I request the concerned authorities to instruct suitably the dealer suitable guidance/rules to the following e mail i.d.

    Dear Sirs,

    It is a regular habit of M/s. Subhlaxmi Indane, Bopal, Ahmedabad, who is the local Indane Gas Distributor that as and when a customer do book their Cylinder, they will give us a normal delivery time of 5 - 7 days time. After failure of receiving the Cylinder, if the customer wants to lodge a complaint or to remind them, either we won't get the Telephone Connection or proper reply from them.

    Their regular practice is that though the telephone is ringing, they will reduce the ringing sound of the telephone instrument and let it ring as much as.

    Here, I would like to give an example of the last / recent gas booking with them. My Consumer No.12006 - Johnson Pathrose.On 3rd August 2010, I called up them and booked my cylinder. In turn, they assured that cylinder will be delivered within 2/3 days. However, after a lapse of 5 days, inspite of my repeated telephonic reminders I fail to receive the same. Upon my teletalk with them on 10th morning, I have been informed that I will get the cylinder by afternoon / evening of the same day. But I have not received the same by 5.30 PM in turn, I have visited their Office from where I have been informed that by 7.30 I will get the Cylinder which went in vain. Yesterday, i.e. 11th August 2010 morning again I called them and then also I got same reply that I will get the cylinder by 5 O' clock. But after 5.45 when I visited their office and shouted about their nuisence, at last 7.30 I got the Cylinder. Please note that in the delivery slip, it is clearly mentioned that the booking date is 3rd August and on the same day itself they have sold the cylinder in black and regularly they were telling lie.

    There is a similar case with my college in my Office - Namely Mr. Shailesh Pandya, Consumer No.17748 who had booked for his cylinder on 30th July 2010 and till the time of writing this complaint he has not received the cylinder, inspite of his regular efforts daily. Yesterday, for him also I have asked to expedite the delivery which they flatly refused.
    Please note that my friend is having only one cylinder and having a joint family with him.

    Now you can understand the situation of customers who are suffering unnecessarily because of the irresponsibility of such type of agencies who are selling the cylinders in black and earning double amount to they emergency customers by not supplying the regular customers.

    Domestic Gas — Irregular delivery

    1) Enormous delay in delivring the gas cylender
    2) Demanding extra money than the cash recept
    3) On enquiry with the gas agency , repeted false information have been giving by them.

    Indane Gas — Irregular supply and no proper response

    Pls note hv been booking cylinders with M/s Chella Agency, Tambaram and the supply is erratic.
    They do not answer calls properly and suply is erretic and cylinders not supplied in order of
    seniority.

    Feel the cylinders are being diverted to somewhere, where they get more money.

    Reqst that this compliant is looked into . The staff members behave arrogantly to customers

    This is for the complain for Dixit gas agency.Khicharipur delhi 110091.Details are on 30 jan 2008 I book consumer gas to dixit gas agency after 4 days they provide gas to me . The total weight of gas was 28 kgs. I refuge to receive gas. This is not first time always they do like this and always i complain to that people but they puple are to useless that till date they nither deliver gas to me nor they are doing need full. this is common word for that people that today gas will provide....
    This in propriter cell no. +91-[protected] but he never receive call about gas.Thats why I finaly deceided to complain to indian oil .
    I hope better support from you . kindle inform me what action was taken on my email .

      I am rakesh saini customer indane LPG cylinder of Aman gas service ludhiana.my customer number is AG-06700.

      This complaint is regarding delivery of LPG Indane gas cylinder. agency is Aman Gas Service basti jodhewal chowk,
      I booked the gas cylinder on telephone [protected]. I told to deliver the cylinder after 3 pm as we both family member are not present due to job in education sector and also I informed delivery man on mobile number [protected] that we will available after 3 pm
      but he come 12 noon two time . When i approach on mobile number he said i come two time and now ur delivery of this order is cancelled and now book cylinder again.I approached gas agency lanaline number but it is not connected may be out of order.

        This is regarding Trimurti gas services Shop no 31 , J-Block, Local Shopping Center, Vikas Puri, new Delhi-110018, I Visited this Agency at 24/06/2010, One of his executive said we are not booking new connection due to no availability of new connection, Come after 2 month. when i go back one of his employee come to me and said i can book your connection right now just pay me 500 rs for procedure charges your connection comes within 15 days. i pay him the money. after that i go again after 15 days his executive said in a very rude manner we don't have new connection. and we don't care whom you give money . i talked to the head of this agency he told me come the starting of august we will definitely give you the new connection. 06/0802010 i again go to the agency now his executive told me to just make a new connection affidavit and come at Monday. monday i go back now they said we don't have stock. pay 4500 for one cylinder right now and come after 10 day we give you new connection.
        Whenever i go this agency nobody talk with decent form
        i dont know why i pay 4500 for just one cylinder and it is clearly mention in the form that this is not necessary to purchase a has stove but they force me to purchase new stove also.

        Pls. do the need full.

          I am a consumer of Indane Gas through Sonarpur Gas Service. This dealer is simply a nut and never pick up the telephone lines. They are the most laid back nonsense character people I have ever seen in my life. Ordering cylinder refilling through them is always a painful task. I don't know WHY INDIAN OIL CORPORATION KEEP THIS KIND O[censored]SELESS PEOPLE AS THEIR DEALER.

            I am indane gas consumer. i live 75kn distance from gas deler .but my gas deler not supply gas regulary.so many time i complane to r.o raipur but always they say complain will only accept when written.i personally visite to R.Oraipur.i also complain on indane websiti complain no.30192. as officer bajpai said i applied to transfer my connection to 25 km diasance simga.since 19.6.08 i nott get s.v letter.today i went to gas deler hire taxi 500/ & take 2 clder.to balodabazar deler refuse to tranfer conn.but i call to ro officer raipur.as ro insturen deler tansfer my connn.to simga. s.v letter also give me on 9.8.2010 .but my deposite Rs.1500/ not refund.only 1000/ refund.this type deler is indane gas at raipur distt.in balodabazar

            we have send a request to change our gas cylinder it has having problem regarding gas is not passing through the pipe, our IOC no. is 5857645 and we make a complaint in MARUT GAS AGENCY RAIPUR (C.G) 492001.But there is no response from their side yet. we make our complaint on last Friday 27.08.10. I think they are waiting for any accident. Please arrange immediately a gas cylinder at our home

            My complaint against MAA BAMLESHWARI GAS AGENCY using his monopoly very badly in the city. where nowadays all the distributors giving services to the customer at phone and deliver the cylinder to home.he wanted a queue in his door step in the front of main road which is very harmfull. I saw a long queue in front of his door of agency every day he is a single distributor in the town so people are helpless. many more things i heared from the people but not discussable in network.but i really think there is a hierarchy support of indian oil to him so he can do such thing. wish son this msg reach to doable person & might they think to resolve this issue.

              myself kanubahai kambalia got transfered from rajkot,gujarat to ahmedabad,gujarat with that i got my transfer letter (consumer no.15851) from "pushpak gas distributors",rajkot to ahmedabad through which i applied for confirmation at "sursgar gas distributers",ghatlodia,ahmedabd since 15days starting from 27/07/2010 visiting them daily to their agency for confirmation of connection tranfer but they are reluctant to even answer properly and keep us givin fake promise to visit them again tellin that the company from above has not replied yet to them.kindly please consider my complain.

                hi,

                I am jagmohan & my gas Agency is Azad Gas Service, Ludhiana. I have many time booking for gas cylinder online but processing IVR No- not received. When I talk with Distributors then said sorry. I cant help you. If they are not responding properly then why Azad Gas Service located in that area.
                When I contact with Helpline number [protected], no easily contact with this number near 1hrs will be hold & end time call automatic disconnect.

                  I have two LPG connections when there was no restrictions for booking, which I wanted to book in my son'sname.Since hewas a minor at that time, I booked thesame in my name,which I intended to be transferred in his name.He is presently working in Pune an will be transferred to Trivandrum after ashort duration posting till December 2010 at Bangalore.

                  I have received a letter from the dealerM/S Gas& Allied Agencies Kannur to surrender the second connection asper Section 3 of LPG ( Regulation of Supply and Distribution).

                  I want clarification on

                  He is elegible to book a connection at his place of stay with his pasport or PAN of IT
                  In case of transfer of my connection, he need not pay any further security deposit.
                  So, isn't thre transfer possible?
                  If so, what are the formalities and whether the requiewd forms available with the agents?
                  If transfer is not possible,why it is not possible?

                      HOME DELIVERY OF LPG CYLINDERS
                      CONSUMERS FORUM TAKES DISTRIBUTORS TO TASK

                      GUWAHATI,July29- The Consumers Legal Protection Forum (CLPF) has demanded immediate steps to repay the amount taken by the LPG dealers from the consumers against home delivery, in all those cases where consumers are made to collect their cylinders from the dealers godowns etc.
                      The CLPF said in a statement here that it been receiving complaints from LPG consumers located in various parts of the State that they are made to collect their cooking gas cylinders from the dealers godowns etc places at their own cost. However the dealers are not remitting them back the amount of Rs 8 taken from them against home delivery of each of the cylinders.
                      The dealers are refusing home delivery of the cooking gas cylinders on various pleas. But they continue to charge the consumers the amount of Rs 8 against home delivery of such cylinders.
                      The failure of the dealers to make home delivery of the cooking gas cylinders has also resulted in the growth of large black market of LPG cylinders throughout the State.
                      The matter was taken up by the CLPF with the Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IOCL) Authorities and the Director of Food and Civil Supplies on occasions. But so far none of these authorities has taken any step to redress the grievances of the consumers, alleged the CLPF.
                      It needs mention here that the State has at present 253 LPG distributing firms. Of them, 228 are connected with the IOCL, 16 are connected with the Bharat Petroleum and nine are connected with the Hindustan Petroleum.
                      There are around 20,37,000 LPG consumers in the State and of them 19,37,120 are linked with the IOCL, 70,000 are linked with the Bharat Petroleum and 30,000 are linked with Hindustan Petroleum.

                        I am holding Consumer No.PLP-9455. Previously I was getting LPG supply from the Civil Supply H.P. Govt. Gas Agency,Palampur but they have refused to supply the gas and advised to me to book the same at Palam Gas Agency for the reasons not known.So that
                        I booked a LPG gas on 22.7.2010 (Booking No.1003 ) at Palam Gas Agency. But inspite of personal visits with that office for three times and also telephonic requests, the agency failed to supply the Gas till date. Kindly instruct to the Agency for early supply of Gas.                           Sir, I booked to refill cylinder with Laxmi Gas Agency, Etawah 10 days before but so far no delivery of cylinder to me. It is causing dhardship to me. Inspite of repeatedly phoning to agency, they are not paying attention. How to make them work properly is a matter of concern. Pl help.                           Indane Gas Service — Non Supply of Gas Cylinder

                          Dear Sir,
                          I having one Cylinder Gas connection of Inden (Consumer ID 47636) from Gauri GAS enterprises, but I am not getting cylinder supply despite of regular follow-up for bookings
                          Even this month Gauri gas enterprises have not provided cylinder supply & gas booking was done on 9th August 2008 & 16 days already over
                          Please help us suggest, today our Gas cylinder is empty, now we are not able to cook food at home

                            i have connection of indane.....
                            on 14/04/10 i hhav had given application for second cylinder.at that time they replied to come after couple of month...
                            when visited the agency they told me there is no stock....
                            next visit they replied to come for cylinder but denied later saying....need to show letter sent by the aggency
                            next visit they told once we deliver the leteer and incase u didn't receive...no mtter come we will issue the cyinder...
                            next visit-we cant give u the cylinder..pls go n inquire the post office for letter..
                            visited several times post office ..but there i get to know no any such letter is cam till the date..

                            these r the few vistits i mentioned.....the count is more..
                            the best part is that the customer ...whose serial nos are after mine..got there connections...

                            now what i should do....

                              On the 2nd of August 2010, approximately 11.30am a very serious situation occurred. This involved a gas regulator provided by Dhuri gas agency (Indane) Rambag Dhuri being blown up and destroyed into lots of many pieces being scattered everywhere, which could of caused of real harm and caused a serious injury. On many times I have tried to contact the local gas agency on the 2nd, 3rd of August and today the gas agency is the Dhuri gas agency (Indane) on the telephone number on 227313, and I have had no contact with them as I have not been able to get in touch due to no-one picking up the phone. As I am a very old aged person and not well as I am ill, I have not been able to meet them in person.

                              We need the regulator that they have provided to be checked and replaced for the gas cylinder, as you will probably know that the gas cylinder will not function at all without a regulator.

                                  Sir,

                                  I got connection in kelambakkam in the year Jan 2005 and now just my wife got transfer in kanchipuram so thatmy whole family shifted to kanchipuram. I need transfer for my LPG connection to kanchipuram. For that i approached Besant nagar Vijay Gas Agency for transfer. They told to bring deposit voucher. I lost that voucher so they tolf to get Notary certificate of 80rs. I submited that also but my cylinder and regulator has been taken to kanchipuram. i dont to handover in chennai. I need some alternate solution for my transfer of my LPG.

                                    Dear Sir/Madam

                                    This is to bring to your notice, a very unfortunate and ridiculous activity which is being performed by the Indane gas cylinder delivery persons. Whenever a Indane gas cylinder is delivered by the delivery person and payment is done, the delivery person do not give back the remaining change, for example on the receipt the final amount mentioned is 342.50 rupees and if we (consumer) give 350 rupees, delivery person is supposed to give back the change of 7.50 rupees which they don’t do, upon asking the change the response has been very rude. In other case if the consumer gives the correct amount i.e. 342.50 rupees, they fight with consumer for the remaining 7.50 rupees and when they don’t get what they did fight for; they use non-social language and leave the doorstep.
                                    I would like to quote here some of the response of delivery person which I personally faced:
                                    1. This the amount (the so called 7.50 rupees) of hard work we have done in bringing your cylinder from ground floor to 2nd floor. (Such a ridiculous response, aren’t they being paid for the service they are doing but just for a small amount they are ready to scold the consumer. We know how each penny is being earned no one give us even a single extra penny in our offices for doing our work, then who the hell are these people to ask for this extra amount)
                                    2. Tell me your name... we shall see you later. (As if they are not employees of a prestigious company but came as a leader of some anti social group)

                                    On top of all this, the most unfortunate and painful thing is that when this incident was informed to the nearest Indane gas booking service office, NO ACTION WAS TAKEN TILL DATE and even today the same thing happened on delivery of the gas cylinder at my home.

                                    If this complaint service really works and our words are being taken to the concern persons, On behalf of all the consumers I would like to put a humble request to the Indane Gas company to please look into this matter as your service man have become white collar "gundas" (Hindi word for anti social guy), who are just forgetting that their bad behavior is making their company's consumer loosing interest in the service being provided.

                                      we are the customer of gas agency named MAGADH INTERPRISES,address is infroint of kurji math ,kurji pul, patna-800010,ph no is [protected].my consumer no-705.on date[protected] we informed the agency for refilling of cylinder. till date[protected] we don't have the delivery.it is very common problem also the cylinder weight is always 2 to 3 k.g less.the manager behaved very rudely when we reminded him for delivery.he is envolved in blackmarketing of cylinder .even when we go for the cylinder he refused and told that there is no cylinder avialable,come on next day.they randomly give the service of home delivery.we often use to go to the godown.in fromt of the needy consumers he used to give the delivery to the vendors but not to the consumers.the are involved in refilling of samall cylinder from the one big cylinder for household delivery.

                                      Indane Gas — too late delivery of cylinder

                                      dear sir,
                                      I am a consumer of indane gas of your sales centre situated at 6/1, D L Roy Road, Krishnanagar, Dist
                                      Nadia, West Bengal, PIN-741101 and my consumer No is 12351, card sl no 4347072.For the last so many months they are increasing their delivery time from the booking time. I booekd on 28/08/2009 and received yhe cylinder on 25/09/2009. And today, on 06/10/2009, they are deliverying the cylinder for the person who have booked on 04/09/2009. And if this continues,even the holder of double cylinder, the time will come when people have to use olden method of cooking i.e with lakri, for 10 days or so. This is because, the lady owner, afther the death of her husband, is too greedy to earn money to black market (to Auto Union at Krishnanagar Rly Stn for running auto mon LPG, to hotels and resturant, welding shop et. kindly do the needful so that people gets their cylinder at least 10 days after booking.

                                        I have booked a Cylender on dated 6th November 2009 at about 1030hrs,
                                        the dealer has promissed that this will be delivered on dated 7th November 2009.
                                        but i am following with the agency, they are not listining my gas supply.

                                        21 days back, I had booked a cyllinder with Mr. sanjay gaur, paota, jodhpur (Rajasthan). My consumer number is 15247. Till date, the same is not delivered to me. When I called, so many times to the agency to enquire about it, the staff told me "sir tomorrow we will definately deliver to you". i think nobody is there to listen consumer. even this is not first time he is treating like this. I request you to please take necessary action or else tell me where should i complain.
