Dear Sir/Madam

This is to bring to your notice, a very unfortunate and ridiculous activity which is being performed by the Indane gas cylinder delivery persons. Whenever a Indane gas cylinder is delivered by the delivery person and payment is done, the delivery person do not give back the remaining change, for example on the receipt the final amount mentioned is 342.50 rupees and if we (consumer) give 350 rupees, delivery person is supposed to give back the change of 7.50 rupees which they don’t do, upon asking the change the response has been very rude. In other case if the consumer gives the correct amount i.e. 342.50 rupees, they fight with consumer for the remaining 7.50 rupees and when they don’t get what they did fight for; they use non-social language and leave the doorstep.
I would like to quote here some of the response of delivery person which I personally faced:
1. This the amount (the so called 7.50 rupees) of hard work we have done in bringing your cylinder from ground floor to 2nd floor. (Such a ridiculous response, aren’t they being paid for the service they are doing but just for a small amount they are ready to scold the consumer. We know how each penny is being earned no one give us even a single extra penny in our offices for doing our work, then who the hell are these people to ask for this extra amount)
2. Tell me your name... we shall see you later. (As if they are not employees of a prestigious company but came as a leader of some anti social group)

On top of all this, the most unfortunate and painful thing is that when this incident was informed to the nearest Indane gas booking service office, NO ACTION WAS TAKEN TILL DATE and even today the same thing happened on delivery of the gas cylinder at my home.

If this complaint service really works and our words are being taken to the concern persons, On behalf of all the consumers I would like to put a humble request to the Indane Gas company to please look into this matter as your service man have become white collar "gundas" (Hindi word for anti social guy), who are just forgetting that their bad behavior is making their company's consumer loosing interest in the service being provided.

    we are the customer of gas agency named MAGADH INTERPRISES,address is infroint of kurji math ,kurji pul, patna-800010,ph no is [protected].my consumer no-705.on date[protected] we informed the agency for refilling of cylinder. till date[protected] we don't have the delivery.it is very common problem also the cylinder weight is always 2 to 3 k.g less.the manager behaved very rudely when we reminded him for delivery.he is envolved in blackmarketing of cylinder .even when we go for the cylinder he refused and told that there is no cylinder avialable,come on next day.they randomly give the service of home delivery.we often use to go to the godown.in fromt of the needy consumers he used to give the delivery to the vendors but not to the consumers.the are involved in refilling of samall cylinder from the one big cylinder for household delivery.

    Indane Gas — too late delivery of cylinder

    dear sir,
    I am a consumer of indane gas of your sales centre situated at 6/1, D L Roy Road, Krishnanagar, Dist
    Nadia, West Bengal, PIN-741101 and my consumer No is 12351, card sl no 4347072.For the last so many months they are increasing their delivery time from the booking time. I booekd on 28/08/2009 and received yhe cylinder on 25/09/2009. And today, on 06/10/2009, they are deliverying the cylinder for the person who have booked on 04/09/2009. And if this continues,even the holder of double cylinder, the time will come when people have to use olden method of cooking i.e with lakri, for 10 days or so. This is because, the lady owner, afther the death of her husband, is too greedy to earn money to black market (to Auto Union at Krishnanagar Rly Stn for running auto mon LPG, to hotels and resturant, welding shop et. kindly do the needful so that people gets their cylinder at least 10 days after booking.

      I have a connection of indane gas on the name Sanjeev Kumar Saxena S% Mr. B.S. Saxena
      Residence of House No. 281, Main Badarpur Market, New Delhi-110044.

      Connection No. 40049 at K2 International Sarita Vihar, New Delhi.

      I have booked a Cylender on dated 6th November 2009 at about 1030hrs,
      the dealer has promissed that this will be delivered on dated 7th November 2009.
      but i am following with the agency, they are not listining my gas supply.

      pls. help me to resolved my issue.

      21 days back, I had booked a cyllinder with Mr. sanjay gaur, paota, jodhpur (Rajasthan). My consumer number is 15247. Till date, the same is not delivered to me. When I called, so many times to the agency to enquire about it, the staff told me "sir tomorrow we will definately deliver to you". i think nobody is there to listen consumer. even this is not first time he is treating like this. I request you to please take necessary action or else tell me where should i complain.

        Dear service provider,
        I am a LPG Indane Gas customer with Sphurthy Gas Agency, (Indane Distributors,1-8-140/2, Near Rly. Stn.,Temple Alwal, Hyderabad, Secunderabad ) and my consumer number is 1911226. I have booked for a refill over phone. They replied that they will distribute with in 10-15 days. But after 2 weeks when I made a call to them they replied it has delivered and told me to contact driver who is supplying the cylinder if not delivered.
        When I called again and again more than five times then they told within two days they will supply. But till now they did not supplied.
        My 2 cylinders are empty due to abnormal delay, but they are not ready to hear anything and they are dealing very badly.
        Please look in to the matter immediately other wise told me to transfer my service provider. Now I am searching for other option that where the services is good.
        This is the think not only happen for me but my friends are also facing the same problem with same agency.
        Please take necessary action as early as possible other wise peoples will loose credibility with Indane gas.

          My consumer number is 26886. I booked refill on 24-07-10. On 29 th when enquired on phone he told me to send it by next day. On 30 th evening when I contacted on phone he told me that it will reach by 9-30 mng. Again I contacted at 1.30 and the gentleman replied that he does not have light in his office. he says that he can not tell when it will come.
          Please see if some thing can be done.

            This is to bring into ur kind notice that the cylinder of Indane Gas are coming under weight. Ur deliveryman does not have any kind of weighting machine while it came to my notice that deliveryman must have weighting machine.
            Furthermore there is a lot of black marketing that too through ur own staff members.
            Kindly look into the matter seriously and do the needful.

            Indane Gas — poor service,black marketing of gas cylinder

            We are trying to book cooking gas cylinder for the last one week, but there is no response from the dealer Jai Jawan gas service, Dwarka, sector 7, New delhi.IN THE MEANTIME GAS CYLINDERS ARE OPENLY BEING SOLD IN BLACK MARKET, EVEN AT OUR GATE. Service of this Agency is very unsatisfactory. THEY ARE TOTALLY INDIFFERENT, RUDE, AND NON RESPONSIVE.They never have a working telephone to book gas.
            Will you pl. do something to reduce our hardship?

            they are not give us good service it is far away from my house on telephone they
            are booking bottle rarely. continuous 15 days i am trying to book bottle but i have got phone line busy. so after many days i am not able to book my bottle.
            after book bottle they dont send till 16 to 17 days till i have both of my bottle empty.
            they are doing a black marketing of a bottles with one of our area hawker who have a
            paobhaji business. 5 to 6 bottle lying in their godown. so that we are not able to receive bottle regularly. kanubhai named their agent and delivery boy who sold bottle in a black market .

              I had received an Indane LPG cylinder on 21.04.10. But when I lifted the cylinder to connect to LPG stove 3 days ago, I realized that it was light.When I checked the weight, it was empty. It is still sealed. When I contacted the distributor, he sent a person to check it. He checked the cylinder and opined that nothing can be done because 4 months has already passed since the receipt date. It is still sealed and empty.
              ye hindustan hai meri jaan yahan kuch acha nahi ho sakta. i can understand your agony but did consumer court help you to solve the problem? go to the distributor and hit the cylinder on his head or say his wife that your husband said to take me your cylinder and said to exchange mine. its full please keep it.

                  The Consumers’ Legal Protection Forum (CLPF) has issued a 15-day deadline to the State Food and Civil Supplies Department and the IOC to take action against the LPG distributors who are allegedly looting consumers by violating the Liquefied Petroleum Gas (Regulation of Supply and Distribution) Order, 2000.
                  The CLPF recently submitted a complaint letter to the IOC general manager and the director of State Food and Civil Supplies/Consumers Affairs, seeking strong action against the erring LPG distributors. In the letter, CLPF chief coordinator Ajay Hazarika and administrator Subashmohan stated that according to the Liquefied Petroleum Gas (Regulation of Supply and Distribution) Order, 2000, LPG distributors had not deducted Rs 8 from the total price of a cooking gas cylinder when it was collected by a customer himself

                  I am Consumer of Golden Gas Agency of indian oil in Palam Vihar at Palam Vypar Kendra, Palam Vihar, Gurgaon. I have Booked my gas on 12.5.2011 and till date they had not delivered the gas. This is not the problem first time , from last three year we are facing the same problem.                     i had booked a new connection at maa durga indane gas service,gomti nagar, lucknow , about five months back. two months back when i visited them they told me to get a self stamped regitered envelpoe,the same was given to them. three months have passed and they have not issued any offer letter to me,despite telephonic reminders.theysay non availabilty of regulators/ cylinders . i feel as i do not want to purchase a hotplate from them, they do not want to issue me a gas connection. till date they have not even informed me the new connection booking no to me,PLEASE INTERVEVE AND HELP.

                      i have a gas connection from Samvidha gas agaency at jhavar estate Thatipur chauraha.
                      My account no. is 5557 and i booked by moblilefor sylinder on dated 15.09.11 .i remined many times
                      previously.Than i remind 29.09.11 .but till date cylinder was not received. than i talk today, your telephone attender say;s your number is changed. now that is 5747. before today they always say;s your sylinder comes within todays.Today she say. your booking date now 29.09.11.and without listen my talk she cut the phone.
                      that is cheating with any consumer .without infrmation changed my A/C no. and previous booking is cancelled, without inform to me. if change my no. at least inform to me.

                        Sub: Forcing customer to pay extra charge per cylinder at the time of delivery

                        Dear Sir / Madam,

                        This has the reference to the above mentioned subject I Smt Kamala Pal a consumer of LPG vide consumer no. 28874 would like to inform you that I had taken a LPG connection for my domestic purpose from M/s. Gas & Novelties of 171, G.T. Road, Ballavpur, Serampore, Hooghly an authorised distributor of Indian Oil corporation. In this regard I would like to inform you that I have been using this connection for the last few years and l observed that the delivery boy of this distributor namely Sri Kartick Pal has taken extra money from the customers at the time of delivery. Recently I have taken delivery a LPG cyclinder as on 29.07.2010 and at the time of delivery the above said delivery boy claimed for Rs. 375/- though he has provided a bill of Rs. 365.45 paisa only. When I asked him for which purpose he has claimed the extra cost he replied that the price of LPG has increased recently and he dosen't have any interest to answer my question and he will withdraw the cylinder from my house if I not supposed to pay the extra money. Also I have been threatened that any thing might happen at any time in future inside my kitchen.

                        As far as my best knowledge is concerned the price of LPG i.e. Rs. 365.64/- is including of delivery charge but inspite of that the delivery boy has claimed for extra money also I'm living with my family in my house and who will take the responsibility if any incident would happen inside my kitchen infuture as this delivery person has already threatened me in this regard earlier.

                        As I'm getting such poor service from this distributor, requested to investigate the matter on the priority and start the services as given earlier, otherwise failing of which we shall be constrained to take recourse to Consumer Forum in the interest of justice.

                            I want to take a gas connection but whether Indan or HP gas all dealers are asking to take the gas stove as it is cumpolsory.But as i have already one i don't want another stove.I want to know whether it is compulsory? It is really shocking for me.We are helpless.Please help us and guide us in this matter.

                              The nearest gas agency to above address is M/s Virendra Enterprises, Opp.Bus Stand, Bahadur Garh, Haryana.I have taken a TV from Annapurna Gas Agency,AF Stn Avadi,Chennai-55 for Bahadur Garh(Haryana).On 29 Jun 2010 I have gone to Virendra Enterprises and requested for gas connection on TV but he refused give gas connection till he gets verification of my TV.As I submitted my TV to said Gas Agency and the same was received on 09 Jul 2010.On same day I approached to the said Gas Agency for my connection as I was to leave for my duty station but he told me to give authority chit to anybody. So I wrote an authority chit on the name of my wife and next day she approached to agency office for gas connection but agency owner is not attending her by giving date and time again and again till date.

                              Being a defense soldier's wife she has been harassed by Virendra Enterprises and made to run pillar to post for gas connection. Therefore I request you Sir to take necessary prompt action against Virendra Enterprises and instruct /order to said gas agency for immediate issue of gas connection so that I can discharge my duties peacefully.

                              I have booked a gas with Ram Gas Agency jhajjar road bahadurgarh, haryana dated 6/04/2011, booking number is 77 & consumer no. is R 3034 & today is 20/04/11. I am posted in Saharanpur and family is residing in bahadurgarh for me it is not possible to collect the gas from the agency . even they not receiving the phone calls. Please do something regarding the above complain as soon as possible.

                              Dear Sir,
                              I am Surinder Singh Narang form Amritsar (Punjab). My Gas connection no is 11253 in Amritsar at your dealer Punjab Gas Service located at outside gate khazana, Amritsar. My complaint is that supply boy of Punjab Gas Service not so educated to make right entries in the customer supply book. They left many pages of my book and made entries further.
                              When I visited to their office for a new entry book and they refused to issue a new supply book without compulsory purchasing a Gas Trolly for Rs. 355..But I need not the trolly as I have made a concrete stand for my cylinder and my shelf has no place to keep the trolly there.
                              Now plz it is requested to your good self to ask them to issue my new entry book along with my cylinder which is due much earlier and oblige.

                                I have filed an application U/S 6(1) of right to information act to Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara gas Agencies , Kansukur, Prakasam (Dt)on 23/03/2010 for otaining information relating to gas connections with numbers and addresses of the consumers by way C.D and i requested gas distribution procedure circulars fro the comoany as well civil supplies dept. But i have no information from the said agent . I have also filed an another application under the provisions of RTI-Act to the D.S.O to direct the said agent to furnish information requested for by me . PIO of District Supply sent information available in his office directed customer service and the agent to furnish information to me . But the said agent has not furnished any information to me and he did not give any answer to me . So i request yu to kindly direct that agent to furnish the information requested for by me.

                                  I am customer of Inden with Customer NO:10823. And our gas agency name and contact no. are "KIRTI GAS SERVICE" (telephone No[protected] and[protected]. I faced some problems from this agency which mentioned below.

                                  1. The agency providing faulted cylinders.
                                  2. We also faced misbehavior from service man who came to solve that fault.
                                  3. They forced to change our regular gas pipe which is ISI marked, and they also giving threats to stop our cylinder supply if we don't change our gas pipe and all that.

                                  so please help us against such dull service and cheating.

                                    We have booked our Gas Cylinder at m/s Coockwel Gas Distributor Sarabhaa nagar Ludhiana on 6th july 2010, but till 26th july we are unable to recieve our gas cylinder inspite of several reminders on telephone . Distributor is doing false commitments of supply every time. Some times they iinsist us to take the delivery of our own. W e are unable to collect the gas cylinder from the godown of this gas agency. Please take the quick action against gas agency for their irresponsible attitudes.

                                      This is inform you that i am a gas consumer at Chhatarpur gas Agency for that 10 years and regularly facing the monopoly of gas agency distributor there are certain following complains which are continuously torturing me for a long time
                                      After booking for refilling cylinder I get the cylinder in 10 to 30 days and more got the last refilled cylinder on 15.05.2010 currently they booked the cylinder on 21.06.2010 and i still wondering for the cylinder and they are booking for some undue advantages.
                                      i never get the home delivery of cylinder instead have to get the cylinder from agency go-down which 4 K.M. away from the city and they get the full charge of home delivery.
                                      The distributor force to get the gas in black if there is a slight crisis as they are doing in present.
                                      When a Consumer Asks for anything regarding guideline or norms. they always mis behave him.
                                      The above are not only my problems these are all of others too.
                                      So please do enquiry immidiately all the things given above requested with a hope that consumer satisfaction and service is above all.

                                      Indane Gas Cylinder — NON DELIVERY OF CYLINDAR

                                      I have Gas connection bearing 19997A with Kalpana Indane Gas Agency, Vijayanagar, Bangalore - 40. I have the regular problem that the for booking over phone most of the times the Agency will not the lift the Phone. Even if we Book personally we will not get the delivery of the cylindars in time. I have given written compliant six month back when the delivery boy not delivered the cylindars even after 5 days of voucher generation. Now I booked on 01.01.2010 and I was advised that the Cylindars will be deliverd with in a Week. However till today i.e. 13.01.2010 at 11. A.M., I have not received Cylindar. It became routine to me to visit the Agency Office, Book the Cylindar and follow up for delivery


                                      If you visit the Agency Office and observe for half an hour we can see that this type of complaint is common to this Agency and they are not bothered.

                                      The Agency is particular about booking the next Gas Booking after 1 month of delivery of Cylindar and not delvering Cylindars in Time. Hence it is leading to mental Agony, uncertain on availability of Cylindars and we have to wait in the House for delivery of Cylindars for unceratin period.

                                      Hence the immediate action is required and I request the Agency to streamline the booking and delivery System.

                                      Dear Sir,
                                      My gas was booked on 13.01.2010 at Sumo Service 13.01.2010 for my consumer no 3684R. , my service provider is Pyer Lal & Sons Karol Bagh New Delhi. The phone no of this provider is busy at all times or no reply.
                                      In winter season the gas consumtion is more due to all food products are at low temerature. Today i have
                                      enquired from service provider , i was told that the booking is cancelled and we have rebooked and we will
                                      get our gas within 5-6 days.Today one delivery man asked me Rs. 200/- extra if i wanted gas on black.

                                      What is use of your sumo service for auto answering and booking machine.No need for such services.
                                      Ther is no gas in our house for making of food.I require immedetely gas for my house.
                                      The service providers are busy for selling of gas on black.
                                      Kindly deliver my gas today other wise i will make suitable action as applicable.

                                      Dear friend,
                                      I have two cylender of indane gas provided by ANAND ENTERPRISES after trasferring from delhi to GURGAON(HARYANA). Avery gas of DELHI provided me cylender well in time but anand enterprises provide me cylender in 35days. i need two cylender in 45days,when i got a cylender in 35days,how can i get other cylender in 35days,either i go to my neighbour or buy in black.
                                      Last delivery given to me on 16.02.2010.but till date no other supply is made by ANAND ENTERPRISES,AFTER ASKING HE TOLD ME SHORT SUPPLY IS CREATED BY OUR SUPPLIER.

                                      I have booked Gas Cylinder on 12.7.11 vide CM no. 8201143, but till today on 23.7.11 I have not received the Gas Cylinder. But on Gas Booking No. [protected], the status of my Gas Cylinder is delivered on 13.7.11, but I have not received the Gas Cylinder Then Where The Gas Cylinder has gone. I done compaint on 19.7.11 vide complaint no. 14885, they told me that I received the cylinder in 2 days, but 4 days has gone the Cylinder is not received to me. I don't know what's the problem why I am not getting the Cylinder? If there is any problem then what's the problem? I get fed up.

                                      I am the consumer of your good fame witth consumer No.12132 with the distributer M/S:- Abhijit Enterprise. I humbly notice that consumed the gas cyclinder for 20 days which got on 24.8.2011. Inconnection with the onam special celebration, my family requested to the staff called Jafar conducted the vechile when reached in front of my house. They refused and not given when there had been stocked filled cylinder with them. In this context awaiting your kind immediate action in this regard. Also note that people who are booked the same on 28.08.2011 the received the same but I am not recived as on date and the behavior is also very poor.

                                      I am user of indane gas .but to my desmise i m yet to recieve my booking made on 25th october .each time i visit north end gas centre barasat they say there is a shortage of suppky whereas the cylinders are supplied at local hotels at a cost of Rs.600 . they behaviour of the employees there is rude .

                                        We are residing at Aashiana Colony Lucknow and Our Indane LPG Gas Supplier is AAR DEE Gas Service Jail Road Bangala Bajar Lucknow.The AAR DEE Gas Company has supplied us LPG Gas on[protected] against our booking vide their Cash Bill no-8768 and customer Id no-RD-10299.The cylider at the time of Delivery was weiged and it was found 30Kg..After a week the LPG Gas was exausted and it was found that only 2Kg. Gas was there and the rest the entire Quantity ie 28 Kg exluding the weight of Cylinder is Water.Immediatly the issue was taken up with Supplier who in turn replaced the LPG Gas Cylinder.and inform us that this water filled Cylinder has come from Refinery We would like to know at what stage the cylinder has been filled with water instead of Gas .This is a serios matter needs proper inquiry.

                                        Sir, I have double cylinder facility. My connection is having with M/s. Ajoy Gas Agencies, Gandhinagar, Ernakulam. I have booked my cylinder almost 50 days before and have not yet received the refilled cylinder. Every day i contact the party (staff) to send the cylinder they reply us tomorrow, tomorrow, and tomorrow. Now, even after having double connection i am using kerose stove due to the poor services of M/s. Ajoy Gas AGencies. The last supply also it was facing the same situation. One day (Tuesday - 21.12.10) i met the owner of the agency and he promised that by next day before 12 noon gas will be reached at my residence. But till now 23.12.2010 by 1 pm i have not yet received the connection. Every day i talk to their staff to know the status of the delivery but never they trasnfer the line to the manger/owenr of the agency for further enquiry to avoid any complaint.

                                        I request IOCL to enquire about the poor services of the Gas Agency and suggest me for further course of action. I am writing the coplaint becasue this is the 3rd time it is happening.

                                        I am condumer of LPG and my consumer No. is MP-7403. I am experiencing socalled rfefilled culinders of gas containing watwer and Kachra. I complained to the vendor with no satisfactory answer to it.Cylinders are supplied with the sealing thread broken and the the caps are easily removed, resembling the same to be intact. It is noyeworthy that there is a sabji market near the viratkhand where there are several venders refilling small cylinders with the help of domesitc cyliners made available to them by IOC,
                                        The Office of GM Vibhtikhand is barely 2-3 km away from Haniman Crossing.
                                        IOC is requested to ensure supply of sealed refills to avoid loss to me.
                                        Corruption has to rooted out at least in the supply of IOC LPG Cylinders.
