Hi All

Cheating by petrol pump attendents.

This incident occurs on 16.05.10 in late evening , me and my wife were coming back to our home from shopping in kamla nagar to ashok vihar.
In the mid way, i thought of getting petrol from SINGH SERVICE STATION .This is 1 out of three petrol pump in 10 kms stretch.Im a regular customer of this petrol pump from last 10 years.

That day i demand petrol for Rs.500/- ,in exchange i have given 1000/- rupees note.
same time my mobile rang and i got busy on the call.i forget to take back balance of Rs.500.00.

i came out of petrol pump without taking my balance.

While driving the car back to my home (towards ashok Vihar) i realised that i have forgotten the balance amount.
without 10-15 mins I reached back to petrol pump and asked them about balance money.The attendent and the cashier showed innosence on the matter.
i asked them if you allowed people to go without making payment,if somebody forget to give you money.

They said 'NO'.
I asked them them why are you people realised that if somebody forget to take his/her balance back,this is your duty to give their money back.

After long discussion the cashier Kapil said " we complete our cash with sales around 11 pm ,and only after that i decide whether your balance is with us or not. He makes me assured of making call next day morning.

Next day he didn't make any call.I went to my office.
in the evening in went the petrol pump again and asked them about my matter with the same attendent,since cashier Kapil was not there.
The other cashier said that it is the matter of Kapil and you ,its better if you ask Kapil in the next morning.


Today in the morning i call Mr kapil ,he said that our cash got matched on 16.05.10.So we dont have have your balance.


My Question Now:

1 Whether the returning balance amount is not duty of attendent .
2 What is the matter of chance that after 10-15 mins the cashier and the attendent are not able to speak about the balance amount.
3 my the cashier had not made any call in 2 days, after matching the cash with the sales book.
4 Why is the matter is not concerned to the other chashier in the next day evening.


Can Somebody help.This is not the matter of just 500/-.

    indane LPG cylinders — non delivery of cylinders + sale in black

    Sir

    My consumer no. is R6474 which is in the name of Mr. Shankar Lal Agarwal. The name of your affiliated agency where i m registered is "Rajendra Gas Agency" in Ambabari, Jaipur

    As per your norms, the cylinder should have been delivered in 2 days. But its a normal practice of the agency to deliver the cylinder in 7-8 days. However, this time the cylinders are being dispatched after 15 days from the date of booking to all consumers. The reason given by the agency incharge is that their is a shortage of supply in cylinders from your part.

    However, i have noticed through the newspapers that you have clarified that there is no short supply from your part.

    On 20 November, 2007 i booked for a LPG cylinder. The booking no. is 87297. As per the agency, the due date for supply of cylinder is 6 december, 2007. But i havnt received my cylinder till today (7 December,2007 i.e. after 17 days from the date of booking). When asked from the agency incharge no satisfactory reply was given.

    I have also observed many irregularities committd by the agency.

    Many times while booking i have noticed that the person booking the cylinders use to keep the phones hold. It creates problems for the people who cant get the booking done by coming to the place of agency because of any reason. Also, it creates problems if any person have any query n want to contact through phone.
    Also, no one answers on the customer care no. provided in the refil slip. So there is no place to file complaints against the agency.

    I have even noticed that the agency do not give the booking no. to the customers on their own will. The booking no. is given only when asked by the customer. In case, the customer forgets to ask the no., the cylinder booked is sold out in black & when asked by customer later, he is told that the cylinder was not booked.

    Yesterday i saw that a person got his cylinder booked & when he asked for the refil slip, the person booking the cylinder said that their is a power cut so they cant print the refil slip n give it to him. That person went thereafter n forgot to take the booking no. I noticed that there was no power cut at that place & the slip was generated few seconds after that person left the place.

    The name of the agency have also been quoted in newspaper many times for irregularities commited.

    I request you to take some serious action against the agency & please provide feedback to me otherwise i have to take legal action against you & the agency.
    My gas distributors codeno.1067 chennai.i have booked for lpg gas cylinder refill and confirmed from the agencies that i will receive my cylinder on 4th april.But i could not received, but the distuributer said he dispatched the cylinder on 4th april .I suspect they delevered to somebody else insted of me.I request u kindly look in to the matter

    indane LPG cylinders — not refunding of money in TV

    I was customer in M/s. Devi gas agencies Cuddalore. I got shifted to vellore. When I approached Devi gas agencies regarding transfering they said you have to surrender both cylinder and regulator. So I surrendered the same. They issued a Termination Voucher. At that time I've asked about the money they said that money will not be given. You have to just handed over this voucher to the agency which is near to your place.

    When I went there for registering this connection in vellore thay are asking money for the same. I told all the details but in vellore they are telling that you have to pay the money.

    Then I enquired in Cuddalore devi gas agency they are telling that I've received the money. But thay issued only TV and not taking any voucher signature regarding refunding of money.

    May I request you to please interveine in this and help me to get back my amount.

      I had booked the Gas on 3rd of May 2010 and after repeatative reminder to Gas Agency (" M/s Jai JAwan Gas , K-1/4,Rajapuri,Opp.Sec-5 Dwarka,New Delhi-59,Ph.No.25343187 &[protected]. still not yet received the delivery of Gas.

      We have onlne little bay of 1&half month and This is too dificult to us to suvive without Gas last ten days.

        I BOOKED GAS 45 DAYS AGO, STILL THERY NOT DELIVERED,
        EVEN THEY DELIVER ONLY 3 KM FAR FROM MY HOME, AND CHARGIG DELIVERY COST, I LEAVING INFROND OF 6 METER WIDE TARED ROAD. DRIVER REFUSED TO DELIVERING TO MY HOME.         Indane Gas — gas cylinder not deliver

        Sir,
        I had booked a gas cylender with khan enterprises jhendewalan on March 6 2011.
        My consumer no. is 21803. Till date, the same is not delivered to me. When I call to the agency to enquire about it, they not pick the phone. Please take necessary action.

          Subject delay in refill supply by the iocl in sagar city due to non decision of transportation tender

          We are an NGO helping common men to solve their problems. Our services are free and voluntary to every common person
          We came to know that in sagar city there are Four dealer of Your LPG Indaine domestic Gas. And all the four have nearly total of 50 thousand consumers in the city .
          Now a days IOC is not supplying the refill cylinders to the dealers. so they are unable to full fill the demand of the consumer, which causes panic and very short supply of LPG cooking gas.
          We came to Know that the reason of short supply is the mismanagement of the IOCL LPG Division and the fact is that since 10 th of the feb 2010 transportation tenders are pending with your company. With reason of non decision of rate of transportation.
          The situation due to short supply in sagar is very serious. And this is only because of the delay in deciding the transportation tenders. Your LPG division is sending only 4 truck in 15 days to every dealer at sagar and they required one truck daily i.e. every dealer needs average 26 truck per month , which is not sent by you. And the only reason for this grave situation is the non decision of the transportation tender.
          Please do the needful in urgent and restore the LPG refill supply normal at sagar m.p. .

              My consumer no.3140 and I am a resident of No.9, Jayalakshmi Gardens, Madhavaram Milk Colony Post, Chennai-51, Tamil Nadu (My cell No. is [protected]) M/s Rajesh Gas Agency, Roja Nagar, Madhavaram, Chennai - 60 (Indane Gas) is the distributor for my connection. When ever I have been trying to contact the said agency the phone remains busy and many time they have a endless hold. I have been trying for more than 16 days) over phone continously for booking the gas cylinder. Atlast I got connection on April 20th, 2010 and given my consumer number. They said the cylinder will reach me during 1st of May, 2010. Again I contacted on 3rd May, 2010 and they said the cylinder will reach on that day itself. But they havent sent. Again I contacted them today morning around 10 am (12.5.2010) and they said that they have not received any call so far for booking our gas and they treated this call as our fresh booking call. Hence kindly look into this matter and do the needful.

                In our family there are 7 members so requirement of gas is more. So, Within 22 days we have to buy new refilled cylinder, in previous years the dealer used to give gas within a week after booking. But, now, they are taking 15 days to deliver after booking and overall they takes 40-45 days to deliever new refill gas Cylinder to home.

                Because of late delivery we are forced to buy from Black Market at higher rate around Rs. 600 to 700.
                We complaint to Indane office at Surat but no one is listening. I have also seen many times this Agency is selling in black to consumers at higher price instead of delivering on time to home of consumers.

                So, You are requested to please take action against Siddarth Gas Agency, Surat.

                I have Indian Oil Corporation LPG connection (Indane Gasa). My present agency is M/S Ragavendra Gas Agency, Avadi, Chennai - 54. My consumer No is 22192. I have booked my refill cylinder 23 Oct 2008 till today I have not got my cylinder despite repeated reminders. They are giving false promise to supply the gas immediately. When I try to contact over telephone mostly the phone gets engaged not because of busy telephone but they put the receiver aside. and when we get chance to speak the reply is not proper and they say " sending today''.

                So Please look in to the matter and request you to please take necessary action immediately and ensure that they supply the gas to me immediately . It is requested that suitable action as deemed fit may please be taken against the gas agency and also the gas agency may also be checked frequently by the Indian Oil corporation to avoid further inconvenience to the consumers of Indane GAS users.

                respected sir/madam,
                i am a customer of swantatra gas agency, civil lines, kanpur (u.p) (indane L.P.G.). i have booked my lpg cylinder 3weeks ago, but till date i have not got the delivery of my cylinder. they dont even pick up the phone during the working hours, which creates a lot of trouble for people. thety are also involved in black marketing of cylinders. I therefore, request you to please look into the matter, and get it solved as soon as possible, my customer no. is 24433

                Dear Forum,

                My father booked Indane Gas from a distributor in Sonarpurby the name of Sonarpur Gas Service on 13th March 2012. Today is 03rd April and still no sign of Gas. When we go to the disyributor theu say it will take one more week... And it is the same story with all the consumers here. And we all know that we are not going to get in one week as well. From my reliable sources we came to know that the distributor are doong black marketing of Gas. Plase lpok into the matter and perform a thorough audit on them. Please help us.

                  This jabez pratheep .c.gilbert giving a complaint regarding the delay in delivery of domestic gas to my house .my consumer no is 34041, i booked a gas on 26/4/2010 they told that it will take 7 days but it was not delivered ,then they told it will take another 2 days but again we did not recieved it ,so again i called my gas agency deepa gas agency ( puirasawalkam) but they tell that due to the delay in load they wew not able to deliver and it will take 1 more day .this is what happend to me , i dont know whether they are telling the truth or not .but when we enquired about them . the others say that they sel it for black upto 550/ cylinder for commercial purpose .please do look into this too. so that they will supply gas to the consumers on time without any delay.

                    i would like to know if the booking of a refill of domestic gas cylinders for dbc holders is after 21 days of delivery. The gas agency here i.e. M/S Robertsganj Gas Agency takes about a week to 10 days to deliver a refill and that too a customer has to go to there godown which is 3-4 kms away it is very difficult to get the delivery as one has to take leave from work. They also do not offer 'cash & carry' rates to consumers. Please look into the matter and please let us know the rule position for booking.

                      I am a Indane Customer ,Bearing Regd No : 8369 ; I have booked my gas online and I have received a confirmation for the same as well , I have booked online because they have started this online booking facility not not picking phone at all when i call them ; I am with swapna gas agency in hyderabad.

                      Let me tell you how baised the staff is ,They do not take booking request of illerate people even if it is genuine request for booking they say "there is no gas till one month come after few days" ;looks like front line staff is facing mental problem...

                      I have informed them that my gas is booked and It was not delivered on time they checked there records and said online booking is not working so your booking is not done and they booked it now and then it will come after 12 days.....I went at 11:00 Am to their office ...I did a night shift As i work for an MNC ...I was feeling completely dizzy & i almost would have fallen down...This is completely mental harassment....Please Please someone look into this issue with HIGH priority ....

                        P L Gas Agency are our authorized distributors of domestic cooking gas. Normally they take over three weeks to supply the cylinder after the booking has been made.The point I wish to highlight is their cash memo bears the date on which the booking has been made and not the delivery date which it should rightfully and legally bear. The cash memo indicates that the booking and the delivery date is one and the same. This leaves a lot of scope...

                        Dear Sir,

                        I am Ashish Mittal. I have a diesel car. My complaint is against Dilip Singh & Co. it is your authorized refill center based in Gangapur city. They mix Karocin in Petrol and Diesel. It is in main city and on easy approchable location, that's why many people including me feel easy to purchase petrol & Diesel from there. I feel regular mileage down in my car and bike. Today my car could not start and I call the mechanic for that. After checkup we found there is Karocin mixed in Diesel. Pls check up as your good will is down heard for that. Other brands and there dealer provide good quality. Pls take action as soon as possible.

                          I am a consumer of Indane gas. My distributer is M/S KLEEN Gas,Kharavelanagar,Bhubaneswar.My consumer no is KLG/2713.I had booked for refill cylinder on 7/4/2010 and booking serial number is 1854.In spite of my several visits with a request to supply me a refill cylinder against my booking,they have not yet supplied the same to me till date. The diffculties due to non supply of refill cylinder are known to everyone o[censored]s.It is needless to explain more.
                          It is our humble request to look into matter which act we shall be highly obliged to you.

                          DEAR SIR,

                          SUB : COMPLAINT AGAINST GAS DISTRIBUTOR VIDE DISTRIBUTOR CODE NO.99041388 OF DANKUNI GAS DISTRIBUTOR.

                          I HAVE BOOKED GAS ON 15/02/2010, VIDE CASH MEMO NO.6361, THOUGH THE GAS SUPPLY DATE IN MY AREA IS ON 23/02/2010, I HAVE NOT YET RECEIVED THE GAS TODAY ITSELF. THIS TYPE OF PROBLEM IS FACING IN OUR AREA REGULARLY. THE DISTRIBUTOR IS NOT IN A POSITION TO LISTEN THE PROBLEM OF THE CONSUMER. TODAY I.E. 20TH MARCH,2010 ONE CARRIER NAMELY "PROSENJIT" KNOCK THE DOOR FOR GAS SUPPLY WITHOUT HAVING THE BOOKING SLIP. WHEN ASKED FOR THE CARRIER SAID THAT THE SLIP WITH THE DISTRIBUTOR. I IMMEDIATELY RUSHED TO DISTRIBUTOR TO ASK WHETHER THE BOOKING SLIP WITH THEM OR NOT. THE DISTRIBUTOR NOT LISTENING THE COMPLAINT ONLY GUARD THE CARRIER TO SAY THAT THE WHOLE RESPONSIBILITY REFERRED TO ONLY CONSUMER AND NOT CARRIER. KINDLY LET ME KNOW WHERE IS MY FAULT.

                          Kleen Gas, Bhubaneswar — Non Supply of Refill

                          I have booked for refill cylinder on 19.08.2010 with KLEEN GAS, UNIT-III, BHUBANESWAR. Till date I have not been supplied the same. No body is responding the telephone and when we go to the office of the Gas agency, it is found closed. How can I get my refil ?

                          The dealer is not accepting fresh booking of refil within 15dys of refil supply, which is normally supplied at a span of 20-25 days, means a consumer cann't get a refil before 34-40dyas even though he might be having a double cysinder connection. Why ? Is there any fixed rule for this ?

                            My name is S.Prasad Babu (cell:[protected]) and I am trying to get a new Gas connection for last 5 months and got fed with the process they are having. Initially when enquired for new connection they informed that if I buy a Gas stove they will provide the connection within 10 workin days, Since I already have a Gas Stove I didn't opted that option. else they will send a Mechanic for inspection.

                            After several follow ups they sent a Mechanic after 40 days and I have submitted the receipts given by the Mechanic to the Distributor PRASANNA GAS AGENCIES situated at Korattur (contact number[protected], 26253252,[protected] and they registered for new connection and informed that they will send a registered post and I need bringback the registered post. But they didn't send any letter again I have followed up for several times then they sent a letter after 20 days.

                            This time the POST Man without delivering the letter he simply wrote Insufficient Address and returned back.

                            When I contacted the agencies they told they yet receive the letter from the post office and you can come after a week and you can pay the security deposit. Today when I went there they informed that we will send the letter again in registered post you pay us Rs.25 towards register post charges. I have paid and come back. This is where I am standing in getting a new GAS Connection.

                            I would like to know are these AGENCIES where created to help us the Public or to make us to struggle like the one which I am facing.

                            I kindly request the authority of INDIAN OIL Corporation look into this issue and help me in getting a new GAS Connection.

                            Sir,
                            I applied for new Indane gas connection in West Mambalam on 15th Nov. 2008. At the time of application, they told that within one month you will be getting the connection, but till now(5th Feb. 2009), i didn't get my new connection. Whenever i ask for the reason, they are telling that there is no stock of regulator. Thats what it is delayed. I am not sure whether this is the fact. So, can any one please help me.

                            indanegas — delay in gas getting

                            Sir, I am the consumer of indanegas. our booking date is 5.8.2009 but after 35 days we cannot get gas. then we reqused again , our gas agency inform that again one week they giving our gas. We want immediate gas for our purposes. our consumer no 3624 .Sir , So please take suitable action for this complaints.
                            To Whom It May Concern:

                            I would like to register my complaint against Mithila Gas Agency, Sector 19, NOIDA who is the nominated agency of Indan Gas.

                            I have applied for new connection in the month of March 2009 and completed all the required formalities and still struggling to get connection.

                            I have visited at least 50 times to the agency but every time I have been asked to wait because some one from agency will visit my home than they will issue a new connection or pay some extra money.

                            Since I don’t have any gas connection I have to buy gas from black market and have to pay extra money every month.

                            I don’t understand where and how should I make a complaint to get new connection faster without paying any extra money (donation).

                              Sir,
                              their is a lot of inconsistency in the delivery of cylinders.
                              Gas Agency : PRIYANKA GAS SERVICE , HINDAUN CITY PIN - 322230
                              Always they are keep on telling us their is shortage

                              1 MONTH BOOKING DLAY CYLENDER

                              of supply, we can not do anything.
                              They are doing the Blackmarketing of cylinders per day.

                              Please take some strict actions against this, otherwise people will take the violent action them.

                                Dear sir,

                                I am to lodge the following complaint against the above mentioned Gas Agency for your kind information and necessary action.

                                That sir, the said Gas Agency had delivered a full cylinder on 01/04/10 in my house against payment of Rs. 325.00 (Three Hundred Twenty Five) only which is higher than the amount fixed for the same.

                                When the Gas cylinder was connected for use for cooking purpose on 05/05/10, it was, therefore suspected that the cylinder might have been filled up with water. I, therefore, brought the cylinder to the agency for replacement.

                                The Agency replaced the cylinder by giving me another cylinder but charged extra Rs. 200.00 (Two Hundred) against which they refused to give cash memo for this additional payment. When I stressed for issuance of a Cash Memo for this extra amount, there was severe exchange of words between me and the Agency men (Hussain by name) who misbehaved me with bitter words. As a result I did not accept the new cylinder.

                                The old cylinder is still lying in my house without use.

                                You are, therefore, requested kindly to take necessary action in this regard.

After pursuing so many times, they tell that your door was locked, while is not true. After 20-25 days, I will get cylinder.

                                  Dear Sir,

                                  I am an Indane LPG Customer and my Customer No. 10011 from M/S Ravichandra Gas Agency. Every time I am facing the problem, booking the LPG Refill and the personnel attending the phone call are very much un-friendly in taking the booking. Since my residential area doesn't fall into their services of providing the Home Delivery of LPG Refills, every time I had to collect the same.To avoid this problem, I asked them to change the Agency to M/S Jai Gurudatta Gas Agency.I was asked to consult M/S Jai Gurudatta Gas Agency. On contacting the Jai Gurudatta Gas Agency, they were keep on postponing the date to take my application/representation. Before last month i.e; in february' 2010 on inquiring from the Ravichandra Gas Agency, I was informed that the Godown is going to be shifted to our near by area and hence we will be getting the Home Delivery of LPG Refills.

                                  But to my dismay, again when I had booked for LPG Refill on 26 April' 2010 vide my Booking No. 8329 and waited till date, expecting to get a Home Delivery, today on inquiring from the Ravichandra Gas Agency personnel, I was asked to visit the agency and collect the Refill in person.On asking the reason, I got an un-friendly answer, stating that they don't know the reason and if I need it, i should collect it in person.Request, inquire into the matter and ensure the timely Home Delivery to the consumers and see that their unfriendly behaviour towards towards customers is stopped henceforth.

                                    Cheating at IOCL,NH24 Mayur Vihar...Please avoid going to this petrol pump.They dont give the correct amount of fuel.Moreover everyone there is involved in it and they are also not scared of calling police.They are big cheaters and also their manager is involved in it.Avoid going to this petrol pump as far as possible.Manager is Suresh there and he is also involved in all this cheating.

                                      Dear Sirs,

                                      I am a consumer of IOC LPG under Consuner No.1580 for past several yeras. At present M/s.Annai Indane Gas Service, Trichy Road, Siganallur, Coimbatore-5 (Tel:[protected]/25112) is supplying the Reffill. For the last six months, the supplies were erratic. The latest date is as follows;

                                      1. LAST REFILL DELIVERY MADE : 13/08/2010
                                      2. REQUEST MADE FOR BOOKING: 06/09/2010
                                      3. ACTUALLY BOOKED ON : 08/09/2010
                                      4. TILL 22/09/2010 I HAVE NOT RECIEVED THE REFILL CYLINDER.

                                      Kindly resolve this issue and help me to get the REFILL CYCLINDERS for 30 days cycle positively.
