hello sir,
my consumer number is 21138 is with sheela gas agency, near bara birwa, kanpur road, lucknow. I'd booked refil on 30/12/07 and is yet to receive the gas. Even the persons attending the calls are rude and use foul and indecent language even when talking to ladies. this has really shocked me and has forced me to look for change of brand. kindly look into the matter before you loose your esteemed customer.

Indane LPG Gas — delay in supplying refills

i am from mylapore,chennai.cooustomer no.17902191. our agency is TUCS abhramapuram.
from last 5 months our agency is been delaying our refill supply by 1 months o more after booking of the gas cylinder. very set with the agency as every time we call up they say hey are fetching it today. and they don't turn up. at the end we end up with two empty cylinder and eating in hotel for a couple of days . i was patient for a couple of months . but now it is over whelming. Indane need to check and do something regarding this. any way we r not asking for free. i have heard that thy r selling the cylinder that need to be supplied outside to the hotel for the rate of 500RS. Do the Indane gas suppliers need us to do the same. this is very frustrating.

Indane LPG — inordinate delay in spite of adequate stock

we have a single connection Indane LPG connection Consumer No. 850 from Verma Gas Agency, Paravur, Quilon 691801, Kerala. Booking of the same for refilling was done on 15.09.07 and till date inspite of repeated request and personal approach twice the same is not being fulfilled. Since I am living alone and always not in a position to approach the dealer, i request your goodself to direct the concerned to act sympathetically and arrange delivery as per norms.

Indane LPG — foul play /inordnate delay in supply

I have problems in making booking of gas cylinder with my gas agency, Kavitha Gas Agency, Ashok nagar, Chennai over phone as their telephone numbers[protected] / 4875) are always hang up.

With deep regret I would like to bring to your notice that inspite of repeated request and personal approach the said agency is not delivering the LPG cylinder booked for more than one month that too inspite of sufficient stock.

My consumer no. is 26936 and on the 8th of Nov '07 I had booked LPG cylinder over phone and was informed that it will be dlvd within a weeks time But inspite of repeated reminders I am neither getting satisfactory reply from your distributor nor I have received the cylinder to my door till date.

On enquiry over phone y'day morning I was really surprised to hear one of their staff replying "it has been delevered to you already".

I suspect some foul play that has been happening at your said dealers end for a long time now and also be informed that this is not the first time they are delaying the supply and this is not the first compalint agaisnt them. Since the last three months clinders are gtg delivered to me only after a min of 3weeks from the adte of bkg and that too after my repeated and regular reminders.

I really wonder how a org of such repute could appoint these kind of reckless ppl as its distributors. PLS DO FOLLOW STRINGENT NORMS BEFORE YOU COULD SEELCT YOUR DSITIBUTORS AT LEAST HENCEFORTH.

I need an immediate and prompt action from your end, please.

indane/cylinder — Delay in supply of cylinder

I, the consumer of indane gas , consumer No.(26153) registered with Karuna gas agency, distributio of indane gas agency,surendrsnagar Nagpur.PhNo.[protected]

i have applied for refilling on 05/10/07 but till date i have not got the cylinder after reminding & visiting several times.

its a vert serious issue that, they never attended to the phone calls.

Indane LPG domestic — delay in supply of refill indane LPG distributor

Sir, I am a consumer of Indane LPG (Con. no. :10166) through SUNNY GAS AGENCY , #215/A, Paper Mills Road, Sembium, Chennai-600011. I have booked for refill of Indane LPG (home) on 23rd december 2007 and till now 11/01/2008 I have not received the cylinder. when i enquiry the agency regarding non supply of cylinder, I came to know that they delivery the cylinder due on 31/12/2008 but they left my bill undelivered. when ever i contact them simply they say that cylinder will be delivered today. I am facing this problem of non supply of cylinder very often. Kindly regrete this problem for me to receive regular delivery.

Indane / LPG — Delay in refill supply

I am residing at, No.12, Second Street, Tatabad, Sivananda Colony, Coimbatore - 641012. Phone No. 2496374

I am having Indane LPG domestic conection with Prabhu Gas Service of Sivananda Colony. My consumer number is 13086.

I registered for refill on 24.12.07 with order number 3169.

refill has not yet been supplied till date.

The distributor accepts registration of reill only after 25 days of last supply. Likewise last supply was on 27.11.07 and so they accepted the registration on 24.12 07.

They also supply the refill only after one or two days from th edate of billing.

As the refill was not supplied till 7th Jan 08, I sent my staff to verify the status. The distributor promised to deliver before evening on that day.

As it was not delivered, my staff followed it up daly till today morning. Today also they promised to deliver by 11.00 AM.

As it was not deliverd, I peresonally visited the distributor's office. There nobody was attending my voice. After raising my voice, they told order has been placed only on 27ht Dec 07. They casualy replied "we can give supply only if we receive the cylinders tomorrow".

It is very difficult to mange if the cylinder is not supplied even after 44 days of previous delivery.

Could you please take up the matter seriously and arrange for delivery of refill with minimum time gap?

Is it IOC's policy to register for refill only after 25 days of previous delivery?

LPG — non booking of refill by distributor and delay in supplies

I am a consumer of domestic lpg cylinder from bharat gas vide consumer no.29470 dated 18.02.02. I hold a double bottle connection. I am finding it extremely difficult to book refills with the local distributor of bharat gas viz. M/s Anita gas Service Virar west who are distributors for bharat gas. even after they reluctently book refills after prolonged periods the supply is further delayed at their whims and fancies.could I be informed regarding the policy governing supply of refills.Why is their service so poor? Even after visiting personally their attitude is 'DEVIL MAY CARE"

Indane LPG — abnormal delay, under weight of LPG & untrade practice

I have booked for supply of refilled cylinder with the dealer Flame Centre Patel Nagar on 23.1.08. The dealer is accepting the order after 21 days. They take 8/10 days time for supply of cylinders. Thus it takes almost a month to get a single cylinder. But due to under weight of LPG cylinders the gas ends within 20 days from the supply. with these malpractices the dealer is creating artificial shortage and undertakes hording and is selling the cyclinder in the market for higher premium amount. thus the customers/consumers are suffering in the absence of LPG

LPG Indane — Delay in refill of single cylinder consumer

Sir,
My consumer number is 30767.I have booked for a refill on 2.07.08 at Maliyakkal Enterprises, Thalikulam P.O, Thrissur, Kerala.But till to this date I have not received of the refill.
I have single cylinder connection only. I am living with my family in III/1 Govt. quarter, Sreerama Govt. Polytechnic College, Thriprayar.I don't have any other means to cook food.So I humply request to do the needfull .

LPG REFILLS — REFILLS ARE NOT SUPPLIED IN TIME

Sir,

This is to bring your kind notice that in our area the LPG supplies are not in time. Since i have lodged my complaints to the dealer so many time and the dealer is not at all taking our complaints in consideration.

Dealer in our Area : Guru Gas Agency, Vyasarpadi, Ch-39.

Since i have booked my refill on 04th morning and reply was so frustate that the refill will be supplied after 15days. Now today almost 10 days completed also there is no reply from the dealer.
Whenever we called the dealer phone :26733340 always engaged. When we go personally the phone being kept aside and relaxing by the counter staff.

When the refill booking received they always put the date of registration only (Not the delivery date), Because of this we couldn't get the supplies in time. And also another aspect that the delivery boys always supply the refills to teashops, fastfoods in our area. We request you to kindly check yourself about this status on day to day basis. When ever we call for refill supply the phone is not attended.

We request you to kindly look into this message and do the needful immediately on priority basis.

I am writing this on behalf of my nephew, Mr. Gautam Kalra, who is a consumer of M/S Eureka Gas Service, Pandit Wari, Dehradun. Uttarakhand. His Consumer Number is 22274.

The young man (my nephew) is away to the United States right now for sometime. His retired parents, who are living at Street No. 4, House No. 13, Ashirwad Enclave, Dehradun are presently using his L.P.G. connection; in his absence.

Your distributor, M/S Eureka Gas Service, has crossed all limits of ethical business and has become a pain in the neck. It appears as if he is living outside the ‘system’. His refill booking time is as follows: 1000 hrs to 1300 hrs & 1400 hrs to 1530 hrs. and during this period also, if he picks up the telephone, one has to consider oneself lucky indeed! Most of the time the phone is “busy” and unattended.

At times I get the impression that all the money that you are spending on promoting your consumer services is going down the drain. Your distributors are making fun of your so called “consumer service” behind your back. I’ll not hesitate to say that it appears as if your field officers are hand in glove with these distributors. Otherwise I can see no reason why should the consumer suffer; for whom the whole show is on!

It will be relevant to mention here that it is this type of distributors/dealers, who enjoy patronage of lower level field officers of the company, who are bringing a bad name to a prestigious organisation like the Indian Oil Corporation Limited – which figures in the Forbes 500 largest companies. And it is not paying attention to the complaints at your level that further emboldens them.

I am sure that you will be kind enough to direct this erring distributor to supply the refill urgently so that the family does not have to go without L.P.G. It will be kind of you if M/S Eureka Gas Service could be directed to keep themselves open for a longer period of time as stipulated by your prestigious company.

A line in reply shall be much appreciated. Your reply will be an indication of your will to serve the consumers and not your own distributors.

Indane - domestic LPG — non supply of Refill

Consumer No. 10091, Agency: Pooja Gas Agency, Thrikkakara

The last cylinder supplied to me on[protected] and booked for the next on[protected]Booking No. 268). My wife and myself are emmployed and so the door of our quarters locked for week days. I asked the agency to supply the gas on saturdays/holidays and for the last one month they are playing tricks. They agreed to supply on saturday for the last 3, 4 weeks but not supplied. Yesterday[protected] I personally went the agency office and asked about the supply. But they said there is no supply for the next few days and they don't know when they can supply. Next week is ONAM week and we all will go to our native place. It is very sorry to say they the next cylinder was not supplied even after 3 months after booking.

very sorry to state that your dealer sai prasad gas agency at bilaspur(c.g) has not dilivered the lpg cylinder even after applied refilling.it has been more than 15 days after the request has been put for the supply. more disheartening is when every time the answer is either no stock or will come in a day or two.though this fellow is liquidating the stock to the unautherised vendors or the hotels.i am keeping the name change than the original because he plays his own unwanted tricks to keep the domestic users in problem.i hope that a very promt action and every customer dilivery patern should be seen so that the positive outcome should come and domestic users should not be harressed in terms of non supply or purchase from the unautherised vendors. thanks

I have seen your complaint and felt sorry for the trouble you faced.But Iam help less, because the supplies from IOCL are very poor . Why the supplies are poor? Indian oil is having bottling plant in Raipur which is completely depends upon road transport as it is not having any Railway siding.Moreover the HP has in Mandir hasod is having a Railway siding and therefore their supplies are very smooth. Iam having 10000 customers and getting only 5000 to 6000 cylinders per month, imagine how we are managing.It is very easy to blame somebady. So kindly meet me personelly in office so that i can show you the records, then only you people understand. You have written that we are supplying to Hotels, have you ever seen any of my employee or deliveryman is supplying to any hotels.? Then kindly inform me so that ican take action. As per my knoledge we are every day in touch with the people to whom cylinders are supplying and checking is done bill to bill. If still you are not satisfied you can go for HP because iam helpless.

Sheela Gas agency/Indane LPG — Delay in gas supply

I made a LPG booking on 15th of January 2012. My gas distribution agency is Sheela Agency J P Nagar. Today is the 30th January. I have not received it. They have informed me that the booking is accepted on 20th due to the 28 day gap requirement in booking. They had promised it would arrive by 25th. Now, each time I call they tell me there will be further delay. Today I spoke to the Manager and she informed me that there is shortage of supply and hence there will be another few days delay. I am not aware through any news channel of a shortage of LPG supply for consumers. Please understand that common people like us who do not want to adopt corrupt means of obtaining LPG are going through tremendous discomfort due to this delay in delivery. Kindly let me know what is the real issue. If there is truly a LPG shortage in the country, we should be intimated through newspapers and media so that we can take appropriate precautions. Daily life becomes very difficult for us, common citizens.(Consumer No. 88772)

    I work as a running staff in the Railways and most of the time I am away from my headquarter. Our indane gas distributor M/s Vaishnavi Indane Service, Sharma Market Dhurwa, Ranchi-834004, never supply indane gas to our home. The distributor treat us arbitarily and dictorily saying that there is no stock while, the distributor sales the gas cylinder in black. I have booked my gas cylinder since 18-10-07 but till date no cylinder have been delivered to my home. Being I running staff i am not able to arrange any cylinder for that my family is facing lots of problem.

    It is refused by the agency/dealer that the booking gap is calculated from the date of last delivery.

    I claim that who is liable for billing after 10 days of booking and delivery after 10 day of billing. Whose negligence is this.

    I donot realise the real thing happening and the reason for making delay purportfully. Who enjoys the meanwhile preiod. A ordinance/rules is passed to curtail the wrong thing. But what is happending here, the rule/ordinance is tapped into a differnt way showing that the ligitimate followup of rule but doing the thing in a different manner resulted worrying of the customers.

    I am facing the trouble for more than a year. Why? How the company tolerates such a habit of the agencies/dealers even after receiving the genuine complaints.

    See, my refilling request is not accepted even after lodgement after 30 days of my requirement (previous booking date 11.12.2007). If customers are indirectly compelled to switch over utilization of other fuel, the company will get no business in future. The very much liability is on part of the agencies/dealers who are misusing the cylinders. It is very clear in my previous case that the bill raised on 21.12.2007 but delivery made on 29.12.2007 with out marking door closed. What is happening? Why hesitate to book refilling after lapse of one month from previous booking. What is the need to calculate booking date from the date of delivery.

    Million dollar question?

    Kindly look in to the matter and make it correct at the earliest. Any thing will not be prolonged. One thing the person other end has to change or this end person has to be changed then only the proplem solved.

    If the problem is not solved on company side, the ultimate gain of the company is loosing business lot in near future. The company will not get lose on leaving of one person. But the prolonged delay will change the mind set of other customers also.

    Since Gas is a essential commodity, utmost priority should be given.

    It is realy surprising that though Indian Oil is getting involved in foreign countries, but it cannot yet see to it that its own backyard service exists. We have the misfortune of being in Gurgaon, the so called ideal state of Haryana. Further misfortune of being consumers of indane and Sone pe Suhaga, registered with Golden gas gurgaon. The place runs in complete chaos. Fully at the whim and fancy of the staff/owners. The refill can be given at any time obnly after repeated visits. The booking date has no meaning what so ever at all. I have written emails to Dy. G.M. as well G.M indian oil, but apperently they r waiting to get a Bharat Ratna before they start initiating any action. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP

      I resident of radhakunj, brij vihar, ghaziabad applied for new connection for indane gas connection in april’06, it has been passed approx. one year but till the date i went to surya nagar gas agency for asking about my connection i was surprised to hear the same answer every time that they r not issuing new connection, ask after one week. Sir it is very embarrassing situation for me that I am using my relative’s gas. Just tell me whether u r in a condition to issue a new connection or not, u r in a condition to provide not best but it’s ok, services to your customer or not. Should I apply for connection in another gas company i am in very need, please the concerned authorities take sincere step to solve not my but others problem also who those have applied for a new connection at your earliest and oblige.

      i don't know whether u will consider complaint through net or not.

        Dear Sir
        Further to the above complaint , I have also experienced the same while getting my refil.
        I booked the gas with Cooking gas agency,3A malaviya avenue 1st street,Thiruvanmiyur, Chennai 600041 on 8th Jan.
        The gas was delivered on the same day .
        There were two bills
        1.for refill Rs 288.10 ,bill No.35477 dated 8/1/08
        2.for VR (god only knows what does that mean) for Rs 40, bill no 2598 dated 8/1/08.
        I was told that Rs40 is being charged for inspection of tube and regulator.I said I dont have any complaints and I dont want this service.
        To this I was told if I dont pay, the gas cylinder will not be delivered.
        Fearing repurcussion, I said I will pay under protest and I will move the case with consumer forum.
        For just touching the tube , which took half a minute,I was made to pay Rs40.
        I wrote in their copy of the bill,that i am paying this under protest an I will move the case with consumer forum.
        I understand that many people have the same experience
        This is nothing but exploiting the consumers for the services which otherwise should be done free of charge.
        Will Indane explain this??

        Sub: Extra money claimed in the name of inspection and forcing customers to buy private product (else LPG refill delayed) by gas agents supported by area manager, IOC, Chennai.
        Ref: LPG Consumer Connection No.16680 Venkat Gas Agencies

        Six months back a person from Venkat Gas Agencies called on us saying that he should check our connection. He got a match box from us lit the stove and after five minutes took a questionnaire filled it and claimed Rs.80.00 as Service Charges. Since, there was no service involved in that justifying the claim, we refused to pay. He immediately said that, we have to buy a tube (hose) from his agency with brand name Suraksha LPG hose; otherwise he will mark the questionnaire with statement saying that the tube is old. Since we bought the tube with five year warranty some two years back and it was sturdy and not having leaking problems we were shocked at his threat, and let him go without signing the questionnaire. We made a complaint to IOC over phone spending several call charges. The Area/Zonal manager (a lady) told us that we have to pay the service charges of Rs.80.00; and added that since the checking was not done during the previous year they charge two years charges. So, the service or checking was not the intention but collecting Rs.40/- per month under some head is their motive and apparently the IOC and its zonal/area managers are hand and glow in the show.

        After this incident, we checked with our regular service person and replaced the existing tube even though it was sturdy and within the warranty period. We bought it for Rs.160/- (MRP is Rs.170). It has a Product Warranty for 5 years from the date of manufacture but IT DOES NOT have any record of the manufacturing date. But it says that we should preserve the warranty safely. Only the cover states that the product was produced during 06 2007. People will miss the cover and the print on the hose will erase while cleaning the kitchen top.


        Now, just after six months, the gas agents once again say that we have to service our stove. Since we refused they delay our refill supply even after their assured five days. Since I am working in a distant place I tried to contact the area manager several times and wasted a good deal of call charge and finally spoke to a person who claimed as the next to the Area manager at No.[protected] ext.300. That person told me “you should fight with your agent and get the refill delivered”. Is this the righteous answer? Is this the purpose you are running a branch at Chennai to manage the LPG gas supply?

        On enquiry I learnt that Suraksha Brand was manufactured in a company owned by retired senior staff of Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. By virtue of their influence in IOC they are using statements on the on the cover as “Indane Recommends” etc. The consumer bills as well as IOC staff advocate its usage. At the same time, they don’t say that it is a product of IOC. So, IOC’s goodwill is being used for promoting a private company. If Suraksha is the only safe hose then why other brands (they too carry ISI/ISO certification) are permitted in the market?

        Please note that the Agencies are misusing their role and claiming extra money for no appreciable service. This undemocratic act is supported by IOC high officials in its Chennai branch. The government is giving good pay to its staff but still they are prepared to suffer the public in an undemocratic way.

        my father is a LPG Indane Gas customer with Andal Gas agency, Nannilam, and my consumer number is 14830.i have only one cylinder, after 21 days the last refill is in finished stage.so I make the call for booking a refill. our distributor never keep the telephone in order first of all. they donot lift the phone for so many times. And then i booked for a refile on 28th October 2009 over phone. They replied that they will Distribute with in a week. But after a weeks when I made a call to them they replied it will deliver with in 1 or 2 days. Again I called them on 5th oct 09.they informed me that your cylinder is deliveried, but they do not delivered the cylinder.they sold in block for cars and hotels. In person I explained the things to the agency and my 1 cylinder are empty due to abnormal delay, but they are not ready to hear anything and they are dealing the customers very bad. Now we are searching for other option that where the services is good. This is the think not only happen for me but all Andal gas agency consumers. Please take necessary action.

        I booked for Gas cylinder thru a call, but they did not supplied the Gas cylinder i.e. only after 15days of booking. When I inquired about my booking they said there was no such cyliner book, we have to re-book the cylender, after the enquiry the cyleinder was booked for us and was deliverd with in three days to some one else for black For our family One Gas sylinder is required after every 27 days to 30 days. If, such type of delay/black in supply occuers, there is no use of having additional cylinder . Kindly take necessary actionagaint the Supplier. This is the problem of all the consumer the sullpy is being black marketed by the agency to the hotels & other LPG vehical users for black.

          lindane — Forceful transfer

          My connection No. is A37427 with 'Agnihotri Gas Service', located in sector 37, Noida. They're the most irresponsible lot I've met till date. Firstly, they don't pick up the phone so every time I have to visit their office to make a booking. My last booking was a month back against which I still haven't received my cylinder. They had transferred my connection to somebody else in Ghaziabad without my knowledge. I spent hours at their office to make them realize their mistake. It's been a month since then and I am still waiting for them to settle the problem. They're not only reluctant but very also very rude.

            Last week 29th may 08 as per my request booked on 27th may I have received a filled cylinder as usual and the delivery man has delivered the filled cylinder in the morning at 10.30am and got back the empty cylinder and gone.But in the afternoon the delivery men has came back and shouted in my house that the did not received the empty cylinder back and argued with my mother.My mother did not expected this and she went to the neighbour house and get a empty cylinder and return again a cylinder.

            After this we were went to the Thirumalai gas on 30th and complained about this but the disagree our complaint and they informed us that they are not responsible for this.

            I have been an Indane Customer for the last 30 years. Now last year, I have shifted my residence to Kattigenahalli, Yelahanka PO, Bangalore -560 063 and changed from connection to NATARAJ ENTERPRISES, YELAHANKA.

            This dealer does not receive the phone calls made for booking or his phones are always kept in "engage" mode.

            They also do not deliver the Cylinder to the residence, on the pretext that there is no home delivery to Kattigenahalli area. I have to apply half day leave and collect the cylinder myself, which they issue from 9am to 12.00noon only.

            I request the Indane authorities to check this complaint with the dealer and arrange for home delivery of gas cylinders.

            Sir,
            I had booked my LPG for home on 14 September2009.My booking number is !054. Today is 10 October2009. I have not yet received any supply.despite several calls. My gas dealer M/s. Ela Gas Agency has not delivered any gas.
            One common reason shown by the gas agency "no one at your house".Today is Saturday. We has informed the agency yesterday also that we have not received the gas and to deliver it. However the whole day we are at house but no one came.So how can the agency say that no one was at the house? Your domestic LPG service to consumer is so poor?
            Nowadays I am cooking by electrical appliances and electrical bill is also raising so high. Also it is damaging my electrical appliances for frequent use. I have two kids. One is suffering from prolonged illness and I cannot give them milk too as it is to be boiled. So they are dependent on powdered milk only.

Now since last month distribution cooking gas cylinder centre inform me that we can not have two connection in one family.               Dear Sir,

              Sub. Complaint against Poor Service and Non delivery of LPG Domestic Gas.

              I am a consumer of Indane LPG Domestic Gas Cylinder vide consumer No. 10531 with your distributor Bhagyodaya Gas Service, 8, New Shopping Centre, Petrochemical Township-P.O, Baroda – 380346. Since last several months, I am not getting my LPG Domestic Cylinder delivery even after giving the booking 20 to 30 days in advance. I have to do the constant follow up with them by phone and personally to visit their above address, and every time they are giving one or other excuses like LPG Truck Load has not come, stock is not there or we will send you by tomorrow etc. etc.

              Secondly, whenever I do the follow up with them, they will tell me that your booking is very recent one referring the previous call made to them to enquire about my earlier booking. That means, they are either not registering the booking or changing their records to hide the delay in making the delivery.

              Thirdly, almost all time, they are keeping away their phone receiver from the cradle and if I call from mobile to their number, I will get a message that “error in connection”. The person sitting in their office keeps on changing and will not get proper answer and the status of booking.

              In the instant case, I have given them booking on 11th June 2007. They have not delivered the cylinder till 6th of July 2007 even after my several reminders over phone (after dialing long time) and personal visit to their above address. Many times, either I or my wife has to take leave and to visit their shop to enquire about the status of booking and take personal delivery of cylinder. Due to delay in delivery of LPG cylinder almost a month, our existing cylinder will consume totally and we have to either borrow cylinder from neighbors or go to hotel for food. You can imagine how much hard ship and mental and physical stress, we are undergoing to get a delivery of LPG cylinder since last one year due to this errant distributor.

              I and my family fed up with the service of this distributor since last one year and I request you to kindly take appropriate action on them.

              I also request you to kindly allow me to transfer above connection to your another dealer Gokul Gas Services, addressed at 6, Jalanand Township, Near Undera Jakatnaka, Refinery Road, Punchavti, Baroda, who is very much nearer to my residence.

              I am a consumer of Indane LPG Domestic Gas Cylinder vide consumer No. 10531 with your distributor Bhagyodaya Gas Service, 8, New Shopping Centre, Petrochemical Township-P.O, Baroda – 380346.

              I have sent one complaint against above said dealer regarding above captioned subject on July 10, 2007. Based on my complaint. Mr. A.M. Pillai along with the owner of Bhagyodaya Gas Service visited to my residence and assured me that henceforth they will provide us the best service and on time delivery of cylinder etc. etc. Subsequent to that, they have never honored their commitment and never delivered me the cylinder on time. After that on each every occasion, I had complained to Mr. A.M. Pillai by phone and with his interference and support only they have delivered me the cylinder. I am very much thankful to him for understanding my difficulty and his timely help. But, this is not a permanent solution and it is not possible for me also to run around for the delivery of cylinder every now and then.

              Hence, I request you to kindly take corrective action against the said leader and ensure us the smooth and timely delivery of cylinder.

              cylinder — late delivery.non-responsive

              i am not receiving gas cylinders despite booking on time and ther is no response at all from hp gas dealers at hassan,karnataka

              Indane Gas — non timely delivery of LPG domestic cylinder

              I (Consumer No. 24495) do not receive Cylinder on time despite making bookings for the same. In fact, my last request for cylinder was made on 07.03.09 and i am yet to receive a fresh filled cylinder. The cylinder which i receive after making repeated requests is often of less weight than the weight of the cylinder. my complaint of less weighment is justified by the LPG Agency i.e. Gemini Enterprises, Najafgarh, Delhi by stating that they have received underweight cylinder from the Company and hence they should not be held responsible for the same. The staff is extremely discourteous and unresponsive. the phone number for making a request for booking is either busy or never picked up by the agency. The staff at the booking counter never gives the booking number depite requesting for the same. The Gemini Enterprises is not at all fit to be a LPG Agent of a reputed company like Indian Oil Corp. I strongly recommend the cancellation of dealership of Gemini Enterprises for the above reasons. alternatively, the LPG Agency be issued a showcause notice to explain its impropriety and be ordered to mend its ways and behaviour with its customers, under intimation to me.

              he puts a tag house locked.on monday i call to his office he says tommorow we deliver a cylinder and know till date cylinder is not delivered we have only one cylinder at that time we borrowed a cylinder from our neighbours

              Indane Gas Cylinder — poor delivery and non-responsive behaviour

              sir,
              i am holding indane gas connection at "Khairthal Indane, post- Khairthal, Distt Alwar (Rajasthan). Since long time he is taking next booking after the completion of 21 days of previous delivered cylinder.After booking he takes 15 days more to get the next cylinder delivered at home. This provision is told by him only and we are strictly following it. But after so much long wait, we are not getting our delivery in time. He is violating this provision also regularily. This time it is too much. I have booked my gas on 11.04.2009 (ie 21 days after previous delivery ), eventhough, till todate i have not received by delivery. For 3-4 days i am regularily trying to contact him on phone but nobody is receiving the calls. kindly interfere in the matter and make the system convinient.

              Indane Gas — Regarding timely delivery of gas

              Dear Sir,
              We are facing a consitant problem from Kartar Gas Agency, Banur, Punjab. We have to wait around 30 days for delivery of gas cylinder and once delivered they will book your next cylindeer after 20 days by doing this technical you will get a cylinder after 40-50days. Now you can under stand our problem that we are always facing problems of cylinder shortage.
              And if we try to contact them either they dont pickup the phone or they say us to come upto the gas agency which is around 15 Km from my residence to collect the same.
              Please do the need full at the earliest so that solution to this problem can be achieved.

              Hi

              I have requested for gas refill on 1 February 2011 in Panchkula Gas Service,Sector 17,Panchkula.
              They did not delivered it till 12 Feb 2010.Panchkula Gas service has given two numbers:one telephone Number and one mobile number:Telephone number is always busy,it never rings and mobile is switched off.After trying more than 50 times unsuccessfully,I visited to there office in sector 17 Panchkula.They promissed me that it will be delivered next day(13th Feb) morning.I waited for entire day for the gas but it did not come.Currently we have only one cylinder and it has become empty now.Now I am eating food from outside from last 3 days.I waited for next day(Monday).When I again called on tuesday luckily it got connected,they promissed to send it today but once again I did not receive the gas cylinder.Again I called and they said it will be delivered tomorrow(Wednesday).

              They are keep giving promise without any action,it requires help of all luck to get connected to there phone line.Kindly take some stern action against this dealer.

                I had approched Sheela gas agencies, Jp nagar 3rd phase, bangalore, authorised delears for indaine gas ( house use) , and since we have not bought the Gas stove ( complete package) from them rejected our application saying that we are already using gas, Even though all the compliences related to this was ok at time of verification , not ready to give us connection only because we r not purchasing gas stove from them.

                      My consumer no.41426 and I am a resident of New Delhi, Dwarka. M/s Jai Jawan Gas Service
                      (Code 9107206) is the distributor for my connection. I have been trying to contact the said agency
                      since 10th January, 2008(4 days) over phone deseperately continously (atleast 50 times)for booking the gas. But am very sorry to bring to your notice that there is no response from them. The tel. nos. provided by them ([protected],25087549,[protected] and not acccessible consequently, the gas has not been booked. On a previous ocassion also I had experienced similar kind of problem but could however manage to talk to them after a week.
                      Kindly look into the matter and ask the distributor to set his system in order so that we are able to contact him for gas booking. You may appreciate the precious time and effort already lost by me in this regard.

                      Indian Oil Co. should give one Toll Free No. for Booking and internet Booking system too. This may reduce the Complaint as l the IOCL Distributors have unqualified Local Staffs, They are unable to be polite while responding to the Customers. They have lack of behavioural practice and owners too are not interested in development of Quality staffs. They too bow in front of Power as general practice. IOCL is a blue chip organisation and should focus on customer relation development programme. If IOCL need help we are ready to extend our help and services.
                      Please Check the complaint and do the needful immediately.

                          not booking my refill after lapse of more than year on the ground to forcibly buy gas pipe and stove

                          As I have temporarily shifted my residence from my own residence and at their I do not reqire gas service I have not changed my connection therefore I have not booked my refil for more than 1 year. Now as I wanted refil I have contacted my dealer to book it they have replied me that they will come to my home foe cheking though neither there is any rule nor they ever chek it live customer. But to forcibly buy gas pipe and stove they are harrassing...

                          Dear Sir,

                          We had been using the Indane Gas services since 1975 and had never faced any problem. I am very sorry to say that today when i called the Local Distributor in Phase V, Mohali the Lady on the phone said sorry I cannot book your Gas and put the phone down. Again i tried to cont the lady but the Tel No.[protected] was continiously busy i tried a lot after 45 min i.e at 1430 i am able to cont that lady I asked that lady to give a reason she said if you want to know the reason come to the office as i am busy attendeing other customer. I tried again then she replied that you have booked the last cyclinder on 23 and it was delivered on 10 of this month so we cannot book it before 3rd of next month. I requested that i have only two cyclinders the one you have delivered is about to finish that is why i am getting it book she again kept the phone without acknowledging my request.


                          I just want to know the criteria of Booking and after how many days one can book the Gas cyclinder.
                          And answer to what one should do if the one cyclinder is finished but it has not covered that much time period.

                          We have got new connection from Mohali Gas Enterprise services. My first cylinder was 433Rs, on second cylinder i was shocked when delivery boy asked 1200Rs. i canceled the booking. After that i called to distributor on [protected] and a girls has picked the phone when i asked the same thing to her she talked with me very rude and put the phone on hold i tried it many times but phone was busy, then i got the number from Indane.co.in [protected], i asked Is this number of Mohali Gas Enterprise? Reply was in YES, but he was not under-standing the Hindi and Punjabi language, i was not surprised how they handled the customer coz the phone service is very poor even all employees are not educated...I request to Indane Gas plzzzzzzzzzz give them training how to communicate with customers.
                          I want to inform that some people are not able to get the gas services but out here the senario is diffrent one lady name by Geeta Rani living in phase 11 Mohali and giving gas in black.she is living alone in the home and booking three gases in the month. When we went for a complaint those crab female girls said that its non of your bussiness.Agar cylinder black karna koi gunaah nahi hai then we all should get a right to black it.

                              I am a LPG Indane customer with M/s Serampore Multi-Purpose Samabay Samity Ltd.; 80, Mukherjeepara Lane; P.O. Serampore; Dist. Hooghly;West Bengal; PIN--712201; and my consumer Number is T02058.

                              I have booked personally for a refill on 11.12.2007, Vide Cash Memo No. 53014 & Serial No. 2762 & Order No. 2762 as usual . Even though it is nearing 22 days, I did not get my refill from Indane (Indian Oil Corporation) dealer. Today, 01.01.2007 I have booked another Vide Order No. 15, Dated 01.01.2008 & ask them to suply the previous one. They answered me in negative. Now, I & my family in trouble without cooking gas which is a very urgent & emergency for daily life.

                              I personally went there and reminded them about the supply of gas in regular basis but these went in vain. I am yet to get the gas. Service is very poor! I eagerly requesting you to supply me the same in urgent basis.

                              The worst service by this distributor. Today I have booked a complaint regarding gas leakage but aleady 4 hours have passed no one attended the call. Though it's really an emergency call, still they are not bothered to attend this call. I think we may proceed for Consumer court for proper justice.

                                Sub: Extra money claimed in the name of inspection and forcing customers to buy private product (else LPG refill delayed) by gas agents supported by area manager, IOC, Chennai.

                                Six months back a person from Venkat Gas Agencies called on us saying that he should check our connection. He got a match box from us lit the stove and after five minutes took a questionnaire filled it and claimed Rs.80.00 as Service Charges. Since, there was no service involved in that justifying the claim, we refused to pay. He immediately said that, we have to buy a tube (hose) from his agency with brand name Suraksha LPG hose; otherwise he will mark the questionnaire with statement saying that the tube is old. Since we bought the tube with five year warranty some two years back and it was sturdy and not having leaking problems we were shocked at his threat, and let him go without signing the questionnaire. We made a complaint to IOC over phone spending several call charges. The Area/Zonal manager (a lady) told us that we have to pay the service charges of Rs.80.00; and added that since the checking was not done during the previous year they charge two years charges. So, the service or checking was not the intention but collecting Rs.40/- per month under some head is their motive and apparently the IOC and its zonal/area managers are hand and glow in the show.

                                After this incident, we checked with our regular service person and replaced the existing tube even though it was sturdy and within the warranty period. We bought it for Rs.160/- (MRP is Rs.170). It has a Product Warranty for 5 years from the date of manufacture but IT DOES NOT have any record of the manufacturing date. But it says that we should preserve the warranty safely. Only the cover states that the product was produced during 06 2007. People will miss the cover and the print on the hose will erase while cleaning the kitchen top.


                                Now, just after six months, the gas agents once again say that we have to service our stove. Since we refused they delay our refill supply even after their assured five days. Since I am working in a distant place I tried to contact the area manager several times and wasted a good deal of call charge and finally spoke to a person who claimed as the next to the Area manager at No.[protected] ext.300. That person told me “you should fight with your agent and get the refill delivered”. Is this the righteous answer? Is this the purpose you are running a branch at Chennai to manage the LPG gas supply?

                                On enquiry I learnt that Suraksha Brand was manufactured in a company owned by retired senior staff of Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. By virtue of their influence in IOC they are using statements on the on the cover as “Indane Recommends” etc. The consumer bills as well as IOC staff advocate its usage. At the same time, they don’t say that it is a product of IOC. So, IOC’s goodwill is being used for promoting a private company. If Suraksha is the only safe hose then why other brands (they too carry ISI/ISO certification) are permitted in the market?

                                Please note that the Agencies are misusing their role and claiming extra money for no appreciable service. This undemocratic act is supported by IOC high officials in its Chennai branch. The government is giving good pay to its staff but still they are prepared to suffer the public in an undemocratic way.

                                I hold an Indane gas connection which I got transfered from my native place to Bangalore. My current consumer number is 35099. While the agency people were making the papers for getting the connection in Madhu Agencies(Bangalore, shantinagar), They enter my Name as Nithu Singh(actually it is Nitu Singh) and when i told them immediately to correct it, they deffered it and told that don't worry sir, we will correct it later on. But it has been 2 years now and every time when i go for booking, i remind them of that, but still the name is not changed. Please let me know what to do about this. And how to get the name changed?

                                IS THERE ANY SPECIFIC SCALE FOR WEIGHMENT OF GAS CYLENDER BECAUSE DELIVERY GUY(S) ARE SUPPLYING LESS THAN THE ACTUAL WEIGHT WITH A EXPLAINATION THAT CYLENDERS WERE SHORT WEIGHT SUPPLIED BY IOC(GAS). IF ITS THE FACT PLEASE IGNORE THIS MESSAGE ALTERNATIVELY ACT AGAINST THE CULPRITS WHO DEFAMING THE FAME OF A REPUTED COMPANY LIKE YOURS.

                                I have gas connection No.6514, S.Narayanan with
                                ms.Geekay gas agencies, Trichur ( Kerala) indian oil
                                gas connection. First I have booked double cylinder
                                on 7.02.1985 with receipt no SR/83/004. at the time
                                of booking we will sent intimation letter for DBC. you come.After so many gone they till we have not recd
                                any intimation from IOC. After that when I go on 1996
                                they told we have sent intimation letter to you. Till today I have not recd. So they tell you book fresh.
                                So I booked fresh one on 31.07.1996 with receipt No.4039 for DBC. till today I have not recd any intimation letter from gas agencies, when contacted
                                they are telling we have already sent.

                                Please look into this and do the needful.

                                    I bring to your kind notice the following, for favorable instructions to the concerned, so that my troubles for getting a LPG Refill for my house will come to an end.

                                    I have a twin cylinder connection No 15005, from your LPG gas distributor with M/s Vaishnavi gas Agency, T.Nagar, Chennai. Till recently I had no trouble in getting refills of LPG.

                                    One day, one of the delivery boys from the agency had come for inspection of the stoves and the rubber tubing. At that time my neighbor’s flat lady had left her empty HP gas cylinder in our house requesting that we take delivery of her HP Gas Refill ordered by her since she will be away out of town for a few days on an emergency call.

                                    The delivery boy on seeing the HP LPG cylinder has written down on his check sheet that one HP cylinder is also there and asked my wife to sign, which my wife innocently signed.

                                    Based on the above checklist Ms Vaishnavi Gas agency is refusing to issue refills to me and demanding to surrender the HP connection, (which is not mine) and show the HP connection surrender note. Then alone they will issue further refills.

                                    Presently I am undergoing lot of trouble asking somebody to book gas refills and take for my use.

                                    I request you to personally intervene and instruct M/S Vaishnavi Gas Agency to start issuing refills to me.

                                      Dear Sir,
                                      I am a consumer of Indane Gas provided by Indian Oil Corp. My consumer no. is 3347. The name of the agency who supply refilled gas cylinder to me is Vimal Gas, Trimurty Nagar, Nagpur. There is inordinate delay in supply of gas cylinder by the agency. Even after repeated telephones to them they do not book your order. I had registered demand for refilled gas cylinder on 15.12.07 and they promissed to supply gas within a week. But when I telephoned them after 12 days they told me that demand has been registered only on 25.12.07 and promissed to supply cylinder within 3 days. however, the cylinder is not supplied till 02.01.08. Telephone calls made to the agency are not even replied.
