[Resolved]  India Today Book Club — Not able to avail the holiday voucher package promised by them

I paid Rs 2700 for an offer which included india today seven DVD + Adidas Shoes+ Holiday voucher for two adult and two child... of which i received only cds...I got the unique number through calling them, but their webiste doesnt work from where I can claim My Gift. these customer care people are of no use. I am callinf dauily but they said onle one Air Ticket for you, for that we will send u a form firstly fill and then ur able for that gift. they are just cheating people. plenty of time i have written them mail with full details, but ther is no answer from tgheir side. it is been more than 20 days.. I RECEIVED NOTHING FROM THEM.
I booked this order to Mr Vishal and after contacted to Mr Sourabh. Mr Sourabh assured me that within six to ten days i will get my all the items. the time period already elapsed. Despatch items immediately.

Hence it will take sometime.
As you know that I am a regular customer of India Today. After lapse of 4 months I have not yet received the material or any suitable reply in this regard. I booked an order through internet and the payment- transaction had some erorr. The same was confirmed on my mobile no. [protected] and payment was made through mobile. I got my order in duplication and payment had been taken twice.
Again I got a mobile massage that same order is being processed . If it is made it will be a third one.
May I request to check this and no payment should taken from my credit card any more.

Fully agree to the compliants.

The Fraud people collected total of Rs. 2589 and still not delivered the courier. India today is a big fraud like satyam. These people are only to eat people's money and then provide bull reason like "we sent it", "The info is not updated in our system".

One CSR told me that the Courier was sent on 6th Feb, But when contacted another time he said the courier was sent on 23rd Jan itself. The persons name was Justin Fernandes. Justin you are a big Fraud.

India today, we indians are shamed to have a media like you.

I also paid Rs 574 for an offer which included india today subscripton for 1 year + 3 cds + adidas bag + holiday voucher of which i received only bag & cds.I could not get the unique number even after calling them. These customer care people are of no use. I whole heartedly agree that they are just cheating people. I have written them mail with full details, but no use & no reply.
Its very pitiful that such a big company are looting ordinary people in these manners.Shame on India Today Group.

India Book Club — PROBLEM NOT SOLVED

What happend to Roohi or Kuldeep who read my last mails but no reply??

I don't understand why nobody will be take care of my mails ? Every mail one officer will be looking after this and asking for some clarification with the quote of "We apologize for the inconvenience caused to you". But further no communication or follow-up.

I am sorry to say this, I have never witnesed such a disorganised custromer care. In other way u people are making us under the impression that we are nothing but begging for the refund.

My request.. please understand our humiliation and solve this issue and refund the amount.

I really fed-up of explaining this issue everyday to one new officer.

I appreciate, if any body sort out this and refund the amount.
Or else, I have to think what best I can do with the promises and assurances given in earlier mails by your customer care officers.

Please don't give chance us to think "why we have associated with INDIA BOOK CLUB."

In their letter they mentioned one site www.bookstoday.in/promos.htm where i have to enter my unique code to claim gifts but when i am entering that unique code it is being shown as incorrect code.

Please resolve the issue at the earliest.

i have booked CDs online thro phone banking 20-Dec-08.
My order booking ID was ITBC 08635431 &[protected]

My credit card is debited with the amount Rs.2569 thro' IVR but the CDs, GIFE VOUCHER & TRAVEL TICKET are not delivered. They are not responding my queries sent through mail. I am planning to go to consumer court. I will take printed copy of order page, my emails and complaints in this page as a proof.

I called to their New-Delhi number[protected] mnaytimes and there is NO response, so Please give your valuable suggestions.

I have same problem. Also I paid Rs 2000 for the same long back. Still I have not received my gift. The customer care executives we will deliver it in 15 days etc but still not received.
