Dear Sir,

I have received three certificate regarding the prize draw for 2008 from India Today Group, Living Media Pvt. Ltd.

I followed all the instruction/rule-regulation till now I didn't received any information regarding that draw.

IS this kind of forgery match such a renowned magzine. I had been reguler reader of this magzine but FORGE totally disappoints me and in further I will think a moment in buying this magzine.
me too had the same experience...i got this type of a certificate but dont know what to do? i ask your suggestions
i have also got three certificate, which already send with in 7 days, also i have got passport containg 150000 prize treasure chest prize, also golden key no rd 2638 which is exactly matching with flyer rd 2638 for innovas car or 800000 but it seems from result same pass port & same golden keys has been issued to more than one person, passport should be unique,
the letters are very polite, the results are not trustable, such kind of things are not expected from india today group, also they are not publishing india today prize list, in notice it is cleary mentioned that on[protected] list will be published nither in[protected] or[protected] the list in not published, i have once again sed the xerox copies to fiace director ot answer from them, now in future do not send any money to india today group for any event, has any body gone in court against india today group, the speciman of cheque is also in my name, till today i have not got any money,

I did the same and I was in touch with the customer care numbers and they have told me the updates. The date which was previously scheduled for 31st march had been extended for 30th April then again 31 may. And now I have got the message that the prize draw has been declared and it will be in the issue of India Today English Magazine 23rd June. So contestents kindly wait for few days more n check out your luck then we will celebrate here only...

    I subscribed for India Today magazine from TV Today group under one offer where i was supposed to receive THREE FREE gifts but even after 5 months of subscription i habven't received any. I emailed them 15-20 times and they just reply after every email that i will receive in 2-3 weeks time. It is Infinite Loop which is never ending. If someone has better sugegstions on how to escalte this. Please let me know

    I booked a Reebok fitness kit BOOKING ID[protected] in name of Varun Verma from the sister concern India Today Book Club on 31st Jan'09 and paid it by credit card of Rs.3199/- but till day no kit i have received on talking to their number[protected] they keep a very long hold or always give false POD numbers of courier so that person keep on thinking that he is being cheated each day .

    SO MY REQUEST IS NONE SHOULD BUY THEIR ONLINE OR TELEPHONE BOOKING THINGS !!!
    THEY ARE CHEATERS AND BIG FRAUDS !!!

        Greetings!!

        As usual I hereby wish to express my dis-satisfaction towards your so called India Today Book Club Services & the pathetic & irresponsible approach adopted by your personnell, especially your Mr. Goyal, Mr Animesh & Ms Priya.

        I had unfortunately placed an order (Order No. OG[protected] on 11th January, 2008 worth Rs 2, 144=00 for the following:

        1. (F1078) Friend of The Devil @ Rs 420=00
        2. (G0952) Double Cross @ Rs 275=00
        3. (B1510) Brand Names & Product Dynasties @ Rs 135=00
        4. (H1440) Handbook of Training Evaluation @ Rs 315=00
        5. (R0680) Roohi Pearl Pendant Set @ Rs 999=00

        Out of the above items, Items bearing S.No. 1 & 4 were delivered to me vide Invoice No. OR0G00002180 Dtd. 15 Feb, 2008. The status of the balance is still not known. I have been regularly following up about the status of my order with your office, however never got the right response. They always promise to call back & have never done till date.

        This is not the first time, but a routine with your prestigious organization. I guess you all are there only to make money by your so called books buddy...sending across VPP's to customers without their approval/permission. Infact its a big pain to be your member & a big fool of me to have placed regular orders on you, inspite of such irresponsible & unethical service attitude.

        My last order (Order No. OG07002615 Dated 19th Oct, 2007) was also completed on 29th January, 2008 ... after more than 3 months ... wherein again delivery of one of the books is still pending.

        COULD SOMEONE IN YOUR ORGANIZATION PLEASE BE KIND ENOUGH TO CALL ME BACK & LET ME HAVE THE STATUS OF MY ORDER. I am waiting for a response from your end.

        Further please note that incase I donot hear from you within one week I shall be forced to pass on the matter to my legal cell ... who understand their work very well & know what to do with organization like INDIA TODAY BOOK CLUB.

I am a member of India Today Book Club for the past 4-5 years (Membership No. ITBC[protected] and am procuring books on a regular basis. Whenever I have placed an order for books I have always faced two major problems which have been listed as under:



        1. Books are never dispatched in one lot due to shortage of titles. I don't understand so as to why do you include such titles in your catalogue when the same are not available with you??

        2. Alot of follow up is required for the dispatch of books which are inherently delayed for over a period of one month.



        This time again I had placed an order for books worth Rs 3, 390=00 on 06 June, 2007 as per details enclosed and am sorry to say that till date there is no confirmation from your side so as to when the same shall be available & taken up for dispatch. It's actually very irritating and hence I am bringing the issue to your knowledge with a hope that something positive shall sure be done about the same. I further like to add that such a service deficiency is not expected out of such a reputed publication house like India Today.



        I hope that no further follow ups shall be required for supply of books against my current pending order. Awaiting your confirmation with a request to kindly do the needful at an earliest.

        India Today Book Club — Non Receipt of Ordered Products

        Dear Sir / Madam,
        I had placed an order for a set of CD's (Encyclopedia Brittanica : Space & Nature) alongwith a free Adidas bag on internet. The order no. was MITBC-WEB-0554562 dated 10.12.2007.

        A copy of the acknowledgement of the order is attached at bottom for your reference.

        I have still not received the ordered products though it has been about two months since I placed the order.

        I had sent many emails to [protected]@indiatodaybookclub.com on 31.12.2007, 04.01.2008, 16.01.2008, 22.01.2008 and 30.01.2008, but they didn't bothered to reply my mails.

        With a backing of brand name like INDIA TODAY, that was not expected from their side.

        you have deducted my Rs. 1200/- from my SBI Card ************3577 on dated 23/11/2008. Why ?

        1. Order No. 01724366 dated 31.12.08 the product ordered has not been received from them. There has been correspondence sent to the India today Book club...But till date hasve not received any repsonse from them. The other products ordered after that has been received but this one has been pending for a very long time.
        2. Invoice No. ORA[protected] dated 25.11.08. yet to receive the Holiday voucher. Twice entered the registeration which mentioned that the hotel details but yet to receive the same to redeem.

        Would like to know the way or action forward prior to any legal action taken against the book club.

        My membership No- ITBC[protected] and I have been already booked and it has been dispatched from ITBC side having Booking ID-[protected] and Consignment No is -'[protected]' throught DART MAIL Courier on 27-APR-2009 as mailed by Response @ITBC, but till now no any delivery received or unable to track the Consignment No via DARTMAIL's website.

        India Today Book Club — Non Delivery of Ordered Materials

        I was made an offer on my email by India Today Book Club for Reebock Belt, Benneton Wrist Watch, Rebock Wallet and Rebock Key Chain for Rs 1298/- on 04/03/2009 booked by Priya and was told that the delivery would be made in a fortnight order no. [protected] MITBC/Web/02085271. Since then I have been complaining about 7 times and every time it is delivery within the week. When I asked for refund I was told it is a very long drawn process. When I asked to talked to a senior I was told the senior is busy. Almost two months have passed there is still no sign of any delivery.
        Dear Sir,

        With reference to your e-mail regarding free Reebok Wallet, Key Chain and Belt, before placing the order I enquired and confirmed about the quality, colour and size of the items, specially BELT. Because it was not totally free, but I had to pay Rs.599 in the way of Precessing/Handling/Wrapping Charges.

        On receipt of parcel, instead of feeling happy, I immediately handed over the wallet & Key Chain to someone as the quality of the items was same to such items available at footpath.

        But I could not dare to handover the BELT to anyone immediately as not only the size of the belt was too small but it was smelling out badly (raw leather in yellow colour).

        At that point of time I thought not to complain anyone. But last week when I opened the same packet, the belt, I received is still smelling badly and forced me to inform you.

        Though I have not told anyone in the family that I have paid for it, but I am feeling as cheated.

        It has been 4 months since the order was booked. I also made advance payment .


        Despite repeated followups with India today book club through email and phone, I havent got the material

        The customer support staff is very rude and dont respond properly.

        I request the general public to beware of buying from India Today book club.

        At the tim of booking two assured gift and Rs. 10000 to 1.5 lac. will be given along with the product, the same was told to me by the lady who has booked this order. also the address was confirmed as above. and told me that the product will recieved within 15 working days.

        on 27the april i recieved the call from bleudart couriers nashik on [protected]. and the name was correct but address is of mumbai something like sidhhivinayak tower. where as i have not given any such address . then they have sent that parcel to mumbai again next day bluedart people from mumbai called on me. for delivery . i told them that my address is of nashik. as given above.
        so they have return the parcel to you.
        now till date i,ve followed up on the [protected]. for more than 8 to 10 times for correction of address and delivery of product along with gifts.every time the person was telling me within 7 to 10 days i will be recieving the product.
        still i have not yet recieved the product.

          I have been talking to wecare regarding my subscription no ITE17412 for several times. But I am not geting any responce till date. Please look after my issues as soon as possible & revert back to me, or I may take some legal action.

          The issues are:

          1. I am not geting my INDIA TODAY copies from last 2 weeks

          2. I have subscribed to INDIA TODAY in Feb 2007, but I was not geting my copy . I have complained about that in April 2007. But till August 2007, I did not get a single copy of INDIA TODAY . Then after requesting for cancellation of my subscription on 02nd Aug 2007, I started geting the 1st copy from 27 Aug 2007.

          3. So my subscription shall end on 26 Aug 2008. But I am not geting the copies from last 2 weeks, though my subscription is ending on last week of April 2008 as per your record. In this regard I wrote to wecare on 12 Mar 2008.

          Please clarify me the followings:

          a. Is the customer a scape goat after paying for the subscription?

          b. If the vendor is not delivering the copy, is it the customer, who should suffer?

          c. Why the vendor is not supplieng the copies, though I am supposed to get the copies for April 2008 as per your record?

          d. If the vendor is supplieng the 1st issue on 27 Aug 2007, what about the last copy, that I should get?

          e. Why my subscription was not cancelled after I have requested on 02 Aug 2007 ?

          This is very unfotunate from very begining for a vallued & genuine customer. I am sending you the mails that I have comunicated to wecare on 02 Aug 2007, 12 Mar 2008, 13 Mar 2008.

          Till date I have not recieved a single positeve responce from INDIA TODAY. This time I hope to get some sencitive responce from INDIA TODAY.

          Please try to be little customer sencitive this time & look after this case.

          I have posted a cheque aounting rs. 975 /- towards renewal of annual subcription for India Today on 20.01.2009.the cheque so far not at submitted for clearance to the SBI defence colony. I do not understand why ?
          I request you to look in to the matter.I fear that the cheque might have gone to the wrong hands.

          ITBC subscription — subscription renewal missing

          Sir,
          I am the regular subscriber of ITBC.I have renewed my subscription for five years(KVB cq no.280048 dt 07/07/2008 for Rs 1399 ). The cheque was cleared on 05/08/08 from my account and also I have received four free books instead of five books. But till date I have not received monthly catalouge. I have informed this news through e-mail on 18/11/2008 and 29/01/2009. Today I have tried through web ID. It states that my subscription was expired.So kindly do the needful.
          Non delevery of goods

          Refrence to my membership No ITBC 09845360 ans order No M-commerce/OGA 09304026.
          Reference my Order ID : MITBC-WEB[protected] aganist which I have received pack of 8 CDs on 28.03.09 against payment of Rs999/=. but I have not received XXL Size REEBOCK T-Shirt and ADIDAS Bag as ASSURED FREE GIFTS till today(01.05.09)
          Do I consider it as malpractice in which case I shall be constrained to take legal stepss.

            My name is Toshendra Mathur. I have requested for a subscription against a payment made by me through Credit Card. The amount of Rs. 780 was debited for by Living Media India Limited on 4th Feb 2008. However till today I havent started receiving the magazines.
            Please let me know what has gone wrong. You have taken money from me but now you are not sending the subscription. Not expected from Living Media India Limted. Please help me.
            I am totally agree with Mr. mathur. I had the same experience with ITBC. Its look like that India Today I a FRAUD Group and running on our money like this.

              I had ordered some books and CDs under a Scheme offer by Stanchart Credit Cards, in December 2007. Till today I am waiting for the books and CDs to be delivered. I have called them atleast 5 times during last one and half months and everytime I get a response that the books are ready to be despatched and will be delieverd to me in a week's times. That week is as long as an year it seems. Their service is terrible. No words to describe. Useless, pathetic.

              Users, please beware of India Today Group! You may end up losing your money !!

              STAY AWAY from ordering any books from India Today Book Club. They are cheats. We should all get together and take them to the Court.
              India Today Book Club is a bunch of rogues and scoundrels. Totally unreliable and pathetic. Disgusting people. I waited for 6 months before receiving some irrelevant books. DO NOT ORDER from India Today
              I totally agree. Never order from India Today Book Club. They are cheaters.
              I have had a worse experience. I placed an order in 2007 and am till today waiting for the books and cds. I have now stopped calling them and have given up on my money. God save you.

              I had received mail that India Today book club is offering bestseller books at very low price. I had paid 803 using credit card. After 2-3 days, email came confirming the order and said that they are sending by Cash on Delivery (VPP). That is ridiculous when i had already paid for using credit card. CHEATING.. how to proceed. the email ID given by them is not working. Customer Care on Phone is also dropping call.

                  I received following mail two days back with all symbols just like India Today Group of companies, a largest selling magzine company.

                  I have a doubt and search in their website about prize draw. It doesn't show any.

                  And i search google, i have found a lot compliant received by compliant board regarding India today and Sameer Gupta.

                  Many people like me trust india today group and so we belive any content that coming from mail in the name of India today group. Most time we doesn't have doubt about mail.

                  So Kindly take note this and don't get cheated.

                  The same happned with me also, i got a letter stating that prizes would be announced in the issue of 21st april, i found nothing in that issue, some one is cheating for sure!!!11
                  i received a similar mail through IRCTC website and it being a government agency, i thought it should be genuine. there was an offer of subscription to India today also. i subscibed to it and got some gift books from India Toay. so i strongly believe that this thing has happened with the knowledge of India today group. i mailed to india today group to know the facts about this. but as expected didnt receive any reply. i think it was a cheap strategy from the india today group to increase their subscription.
                  This is the cheap marketing strategy chosed by INDIA TODAY group. I became a victim for this letters & subscribed for membership. The magazines are not coming at all. Till now I had received 8 copies in the last 5 months.So shame on this group & they kept our country name in their company & they should rename themselves as "CHEATS TODAY".
                  like others, I, too had received offer from mail today whereon, I had deposited Rs. 999/- for the subscription of two years, after getting temptation from mail today that they had been conducting a Lucky Draw for the person, who were offering their subscription for two years. Now, the site, i.e. [protected]@mailtoday.in, mention for the enrollment for Lucky Draw is not available in the system. I also agree with the fact that this is a cheap markeing strategy adopted by the India Today Group.
                  I can wait for the result of Draw, which was supposed to happen on, 8th March, 2009, But a`las nothing has happened till date? Pl let us give the organisers 15 days and then blaim them for not holding the random access DRAW, which is probably the case.Thanks for raising a public issue against Media.We have to be vigilant to be cross against the MEDIA, WHICH IS MOST POWERFULL, at the moment.
                  i have paid Rs 999/- on 10/12/2008 against coupon no. MTNP111196. Till today i have not received the subscription vouchers or the voucher for shoes.
                  Is it cheating by India Today group.

                    Living Media India has detected Rs.741 /- from my SBI credit card without my knowledge and not even send any magazine. what is going on?, this is really ridiculous and cheating the geniue people. In stead of this they can beg in front of temple.

                    Even i have received a VPP parcel today. I have to pay rs 525 to get the parcel. Luckily i live in hostel so no one took the parcel on my behalf.

                    I am wondering why India Today group has involved itself in such a cheating? I wish that some consumer court or forum should take up the issue and punish them for the same.
                    i received a book from india today which i didn't even order. nothing was mentioned about the book in the parcel, although i thought it may be my mistake so paid rs.225. i received 2 cd packs of same issue. this is a shame on india today where they practise false marketing strategies. now i received a slip which says me to pay 525rs from railway postoffice. the responsible authorities must be catch hold of this and penalised heavily. if i have ordered any item why didn't they sent that to my address, why i have to go to railway when they gave me some unordered books of same content earlier ??????

                      One month before I got an email from IRCTC ([protected]@irctc.co.in ) regarding a offer (Claim your FREE adidas bag & 2 FREE bestsellers ). I purchased this package which included Adidas bag and 2 CDs by doing payment through my credit card. The amount has been charged to my credit card but I have not recived my package.

                      I wrote many emails but till today I have not recieved any reply from your side.

                      I am not sure how to file a complain against those people. Can anyone help me

                      adidas bag and books — BAG AND BOOKS NOT RECEIVED EVEN AFTER THE PAYMENT

                      ON 18-JAN -2008 I PAID 199 .00 FOR FREE ADIDAS BAG AND BOOKS -(INDIA TODAY BOOK CLUB OFFER) . The amount was paid but till now the item is not recieved.Any body can help??
                      I too had ordered the CD's and Adidas bag as well as the holidaY voucher a month ago.
                      But hv not yet recieved the bag and voucher., nor do ITBC responds to my mails
                      I have receieved a letter with a kind of certificate which mentions(Customer of Distinction)dispatched on May 2008
                      which they say I have been selected as one of their so called
                      esteemed customer where I will be entitled to recieve free
                      gift voucher worth Rs.5990/-
                      Here are their gifts:- 1.Savings of Rs.500 on booksbuddy
                      - best seller packet.
                      2. Free 3 days and two nights holiday for a couple worth
                      - Rs.5000/-
                      3. Free adidas bag worth Rs.499/-
                      They are asking me to collect it from the post man by paying

                      But when I approach my post man located near my area
                      he says many people just like me had come with this
                      similar offers but till now, no one has received any sort
                      of package delivery to be received by them.I am very
                      disappointed myself coz I thought I did'nt want to miss out
                      this good opportunity but I feel I have lost hope on this
                      books buddy who thinks they can satisfy a customer by

                      I think it is a sick way to impress customer's.First of all
                      package should be sent straight to a person's mailing
                      address or personally be courier.Atleast it is far better than
                      running behind the post man or get humiliated all the time.
                      If the package does not reach me within a week or so.I am

                        I had ordered for books on-line through India Today Book Club (Living Media India Limited) and paid with my credit card as it was a joint promo offer. Today, I received a VPP from the aforesaid company and was asked to pay Rs 525 as charges which for the consignment. As i was not present at the address (home), I wanted my mother who was there to open the consignment and see what was there inside but the courier person didn't allow her to do so beore paying the amount. After paying the courier person, the consignmnet was opened to find UNORDERED Encylopedia's and Britannica CDROM's. Please suggest how can I file a complaint on this ?
                        I have also recieved the credit card statement debiting me for the value of the on-line purchase.
                        Today i see that this seems to be a common complaint against ITBC. Please advise.

                        I too received an offer from India Today Book Club about getting a package of Swatch and Benetton watches worth rs 8K for 2 K. I was about to pay for the same with credit card, but luckily I searched and find the real nature of fraud as detailed in your web sites. I really extend my hearty thanks to the site owners for a kind of forum like this.

                        they all as per them costred 1100?-
                        However they had oly sent Music today CD I have not recieved the t shirt and travl bag which was the part of the deal.

                          let's all address this to consumer forum for spamming...afterall India Today group is not a part of Indian Railways. Somebody from India Today is doing their business.

                          Hi !!!!! I am Santosh. Recently I moved from Delhi to Bangalore, for which I had taken the service of Skywing Packers and Movers for moving all my house hold items along with car transportation. Out of the the whole things, 1most of the glass items are found to be broken, lot of things are missing and the washing machine that we transported from delhi was in the bad shape. Also lot of costly art items we shifted had gone missing. When I reported them about this they started misbehaving. There are few things I found are:

                          1. They charge for insurance but that's not used for any insurence claim. So still suspect whether they take the insurence or not as when I asked them for receipt of the insurence claim, they are unable to provide. so better check for it.

                          2. They used to tell big things at the start, like they will put everything inside the wooden box. But I found they only did the soft pack so lot of items being broken. For broken and misplaced items, when I ask for the claim they just ignore all after repeated calls.

                          3. They never unpack complete things. They will do part of that in two hours and after getting signature that you received all the items in good condition, they used to leave. They knows once you sign it after that no claim will be entertained. So better careful in that.


                          So this is a good suggestion for you all that this skywing movers is a big cheater compared to other packers like, Agarwaal packers and prakash packer's. Better don't prefer this bluddy chor and I am really had very bad experiance with these guys, especially with Mr. Hari Om , Mr. Sanjay (For Delhi region )and Mr. Kuljeet (for Bangalore), who are just the most careless person you should handover the things to them.

                              I had booked for the CDs offered by you on 16 Sep (1:33:46pm)after paying by credit card. On 23 Oct (after almost 7 weeks) the mail delivery man informed that I have a VPP Parcel from India Today book club But I need to make payment. The membership Num that I have recieved is ITBCO7308717.
                              My Complaints are
                              (a) The consignment which was promised within two to three weeks came after seven weeks.
                              (b) My emails to your company have not been responded by anyone.
                              (c) I have a email confirming the payment made to you which I have forwarded in all my mails. I also have confirmation from my credit card that the amount has been paid to your company on 16 Sep. I really donot understand why, firstly, such a shabby service is being provided by you and then insted of compensating for the bad service you are charging me again.
                              Please reply at the earliest otherwise I would be forced to go to consumer court.

These books I may not possess, does not matter, but the issue is that the jackets were different and the books different.                               Dear all

                              As normal security Measures and the consumer rights the person receiving the vpp from Indian Postal services must know the content of the parcel before receiving.

                              India Today club packing with complete covering without any packing list attached to it. Most of the time repeatedly sending the same book.

                              Also the Membership No given in their Invoice always wrong. So you can't login to their site what they are going sent.

                              They keep on changing their website and login procedure without consume's Knowledge
                              It is my mistake to beleive in their letters. I did not get my delivery of books and other offers after the payment has made .

I have paid the money via internet by credit card and i've got confirmation mail as well as sms by ITBC that i have paid 2598 Rs to ITBC and my order will process in 3-4 weeks. In Feb 1st week after some follow up with the call centre i have received 1 pack of CDs ( not books) delivered at my mailing address with an intimation that i have to collect the cd's from post office by paying a charge of rs 2598. When i talked to Call center representative i was told that i should return the pack and my original pack will be sent to me soon. Since then i have called and talked to atleast 10 times with ITBC representatives but i have not received even a single call from ITBC. Once as per the instruction of ITBC rep i mailed my credit card statement as well as copy of confirmation mail from ITBC, but no reply.

                              I had belief on the brand name of India today as i thought of good service with this offer but i am facing all this problems i now feel that i am trapped and deceived and making my my mind to go legal for the harassment i have faced during all these days after paying the amount instantly.

                              I recd a mail with several offers on purchase of encyclpedia CD set, from India Today Book Club and on 29th August made the payment of Rs. 574 by means of credit card. Despite eight months the product has not been shipped. My request for cancellation of the order and refund of money is also not being responded. I now understand that this is a huge fraud by a well known publication group and I propose to go to the consumer court. How ever before that I wish to take your assitance in getting the issue resolved as a last resort. A collective effort from all the people who have suffered in the hands of this "India Today Book club" needs to be put up to end this fraud and warn the gullible people from falling prey to their fake offers. When I spoke to the customer services, I was asked to send the items back with the parcel charges and they will send the right sizes along with a cheque for the parcel charges incurred to me.                                 I am possibly one of thousands of people cheated by India Today Book Club. I purchased few books on Internet and paid online using my Credit Card many weeks ago but books never reached me. Since the site didn't have any contact number, I sent few emails but then no response is forthcoming.

                                I think these cheaters need to be taught a lesson.
                                Unfortunately I am based in a small town and good legal help is not available. Could someone from legal profession guide about the possible course of action that people like us could take against this ongoing fraud by Living Media Group? Is it a simple consumer forum case or cyber crime is also involved in it, kindly let us know.

                                I am possibly one of thousands of people cheated by India Today Book Club. I purchased few books on Internet and paid online using my Credit Card many weeks ago but books never reached me. Since the site didn't have any contact number, I sent few emails but then no response is forthcoming.

                                I think these cheaters need to be taught a lesson.
                                Unfortunately I am based in a small town and good legal help is not available. Could someone from legal profession guide about the possible course of action that people like us could take against this ongoing fraud by Living Media Group?                                 In short, once again I am reminding my query, I have booked Rebock kit through online against Unique privilaged no. R-17457. but against this order I made two payments in two different cards due to online technicle problems. For which I asked for the REFUND of amount.

                                In this regard immediately on 22-01-09 I wrote a mail to your department. From that day onwards I am giving the clarificactions and following your advises. Each and everytime one new officer (like Mr. Rohit kumar / Mohit nagpal / Amit kumar etc., ) will be looking into this matter asking again and again clarifications.

                                Even I informed several times my query and asked for assistance over phone to your customer care helpline but no use.

                                At last as per advice of Mr. Amit kumar's e-mail dated[protected] we have refused the parcel recd. from BLUE DART vide AWB NO.[protected] against order no. 0GA[protected]. expecting the refund will be done immediately, but unfortunately again one more officer asking entire details on 04-02-09

                                I had paid Rs. 3198 by my credit card, they sent me incomlete reebok kit, i returned the entire packet to them which has been received by them as confirmed by the courier company (Overnite Express) despite of several phone calls, e-mails. No one is showing interest to return the correct packet to me, every time they say the same answer " their system is not updated".
                                If I order a product they try their levelk best to collect the payment by means of phone calls, sms, e-mail, but for complaints no one is bothered.
                                I've just come back from www.wexe.com for gold, ordered 5000g and paid through my dad's paypal, they delivered the gold in 2 times in 1 hour, anyhow, the service was quite satisfactory. After that, they gave me the code “ JN007 ”, saying that I can get at least 10% discount. I tried and it was true! Friends, feel free to try with JN007, their prices are quite low, believe me, pay by paypal and if you are not happy with their service, just file a dispute is ok, lollll.
                                I have placed and order for Watch through ITBC worth Rs 3199.00 and payment was done through Credit card. This order was placed in month of december 2008 and order no is [protected]. I have folowed up a number of times on their no [protected]. I get the same reply saying that the courior has been sent to you. But it was returned back.
                                i have followed up a number of times . I took the consignment no and enquired with TNT couriors. They said tht it has been returned back to ITBC.

                                Its has became a round robin game where no one is ready to take responsibilty and give me proper reply . I have spent more than Rs 500 on calls and other tracking.
                                Can any one look into this issue so that i get my order at earliest or any suggestions so that it can be esclated to higher level.
                                My order no. 0GA[protected] dated 27-01-09, I ordered a Reebok Fitness Kit. I received the kit with wrong shoe size (I order no. 9 but received no.6) hence on instructions from Customer help[protected], I return the full parcel.

                                On 14-02-09 new order no. is given to me - 0GA[protected], but till date I have not received my order. Whenever I call helpline no., simple answer is given "order is fully / successfully processed and will receive the same in 1 week"

                                This has been going for last 3 weeks. The customer service reps are not even transferring the call to senior personnel reason given all are busy. Today 17-03-09 am told to wait for 15 days more.

                                Mr. Mayank, Ms. Shabnam Khan, Arvind, Dominic Savio, Priya, Ishleen all these employees give different reasons / excuses but not even one has helped. I feel am helpless as I am based in Mumbai and this company is in Delhi.

                                ITBC is fleecing innocent buyers. WORST SERVICE PROVIDER I HAVE COME ACROSS TILL DATE.

                                I, SANJAY JOSHI, would like to bring your kind notice that I had ordered the same product during Feb. 2009 and Amount Rs. 3198/- were deducted twice from my ICICI Credit Card . I recd. only one delivery. I was in formed from the concerned that while I placed the order on 28/02/2009, the order was placed sucessfully but transaction was not done sucessfully and I got the SMS from the concerned that "we have received your order but the transaction was unsucessful, We will call you(from[protected] or[protected] to assist you complete the transaction: Sender TA-BookClub: Message centre:[protected]: Sent : 28-Feb-2009, 13:33:51 Time".
                                According to this SMS I was contacted on 1st March 2009 for completing the unsucessful transaction and the transaction was sucessful and I got an other SMS that " Dear Sanjay Joshi, your order has been processed. Your order no.is 0GA[protected] with total order value of Rs. 3198/- ; Sender: TA-Bookclub: Message centre: [protected] Sent: 1-Mar-2009 14:38:49" and the amount has been deducted from my ICICI CREDIT CARD twice trating this as a new order where as this transaction was for completion of previuos uncessuful transaction for which order was placed on 28 Feb 2009 . Assuming this as a new order the amount of rs. 3198/- had been deducted . I had placed only one order that too on 28/2/2009. I came to know this when reced. the Statement of ICICI, in which 2 payment were deducted, immediately I complainted for the same to the [protected]@todaybookclub.com and [protected]@todaybookclub.com on 23 March 2009 .. From this date to till date continueouly sending mails to the concerned . Also Mr. Kuldeep Singhji had tele-talk with me on 2 July 2009 regarding ordernos and delivery details of teh item recd. by me immediately i sent him once again the copy of ICICI starement nad copy of Invoice. but as on day nothing has happend and matter is still pending with them.
                                I would like to inform you that sir, kindly look into the matter and do teh needful in this regards. I am attching the copies of teh corerspondance, icici statement and copy of invoice recd. by me.

                                Hope you will go through all the correspondence and will come to know about the matter.

                                Dear Sir,
                                I have not received any other consingment from you till date except the one of which details hv aleady been given to you. Also please note that I did not place two orders . I had place only one orderon 27 Feb 2009 . Initially, I was informed that the order has been placed successfully (on 27 Feb.09) but p-ayment process failed you will receive SMS or Phone call for furhter processing of the payment gate way . The same was processed after 2 days (ie. on 1 st March'09) . I would like to know that when payment processing was done sucessfully while on 27 th feb ' 09 itself than why do they needed for payment processing again second time on 1 march' 09 and treated as a new order. I hope this is part of mistake done either at your end while placement of order or at the end of payments gate ways which were processed twice without any reasons when Ist payment was processed sucessfully on 27th of Feb 2009 itself.

                                You are therefore requested to please go through the entire process of ordering and payment of my order and do the needful at the earliest. As suggersted, I will refuse to take the delivery of second consignment, if received, not yet received sofar .

                                I have not received any other consingment from you till date except the one of which details hv aleady been given to you. Also please note that I did not place two orders . I had place only one orderon 27 Feb 2009 . Initially, I was informed that the order has been placed successfully (on 27 Feb.09) but p-ayment process failed you will receive SMS or Phone call for furhter processing of the payment gate way . The same was processed after 2 days (ie. on 1 st March'09) . I would like to know that when payment processing was done sucessfully while on 27 th feb ' 09 itself than why do they needed for payment processing again second time on 1 march' 09 and treated as a new order. I hope this is part of mistake done either at your end while placement of order or at the end of payments gate ways which were processed twice without any reasons when Ist payment was processed sucessfully on 27th of Feb 2009 itself.

No other delivery has been received till date and the status is the same as on today ie 20/4/2009 5.51 pm . you pl. go thru' all my previous communications(mails) in this regards. you are only sending mails, doing nothing in this regards, if the second order has also been processed and dispatched long back than where it has gone.                                 I had bought many books and CDs from India Today Book Club. I like the fact that their customer care is very helpful. For any kind of information one can usually dial their customer care number at[protected] or by sending an email at [protected]@indiatodaybookclub.com.
                                My experience with ITBC is that they often send you the books
                                ordered. That raises your confidence in the " book club".
                                After that
                                (a) they tell you that your draft did not reach them because it was sent by reg.post ; courier service is safe,
                                according to ITBC
                                (b) they sit on your money paid by bank-draft and do not send the books
                                (c) they do not respond to letters or telephone calls
                                (d) they send you un-colicited VPP parcels

                                  All the above comments appear to be true and I totally agree with the complainants. I am also a great sufferer of the plot of India Today / Living Media. India Today / Living Media are doing a fraud business and it will not last long because every body is now getting aware of it. I think the days are not far away.

                                  Around three weeks back I booked for a Sony Ericsson Mobile Phone carrying a free gift of track suit and a Gold Voucher of Rs. 1, 10, 000.00 with Booking IDs[protected] &[protected] . I paid Rs. 21, 000.00 approx. for this but to my surprise I have received four ugly wrist watches in four boxes. No track suit has been sent and I will not be surprised now if nothing more is received further. Unfortunately I have been befooled under temptation offered from the callers but I am not going to leave whether it may be through lodging a case in consumer forum or even a court case for the fraudulent act of India Today / Living Media.

                                    i had ordered some books and CDs from India Today Book Club on june2007 and paid through credit card. Till 6th oct 2007, I did not receive the books and the CDs. Many emails sent to their customer care department remain unanswered. Though the company belongs to a reputed media group, their service level is very disappointing. I intend to lodge a complaint with the cyber crime cell of Police if they do not respond to my mails and deliver the promised merchandise within a week. I was told that this issue can be classified under cyber fraud. Looks like the company will wake up only when a summon is issued by the Police to its MD
