Hello Sir,

I am using Indane gas domestic LPG Cylinder since April'2004 with double cylinder. I am a T.U.C.S customer of Periyar Nagar branch, Chennai. I havea received a re-filled cylinder on 15th Oct 2008 after 20 days time of my booking. Now when i approached the dealer for booking for refill order, they are not accepting my booking, as "REFILL BOOKING HAS TO BE DONE ONLY AFTER 21 DAYS OF DELIVERY OF PREVIOUS CYLINDER". So i have to wait till November 1st week to refill booking.

Usually the utilization of one filled-up cylinder for a family of 4 members will come for around 35 to 40 days. If above being the condition for delivey/booking of the cylinders by the distributors (20 days for delivery of filles cylinder and 21 days more for wait time for booking), we won't have the gas for cooking for around 5 to 10 days time.

Could you please look into the issue and sort it out at the earliest for the welfare and benefit for the society.

Hello Sir,

I am using Indane gas domestic LPG Cylinder since 15 years with double cylinder. I am a customer of vijayanagar, manuvana branch, Bangalore. I have received a re-filled cylinder on 9th jan 2010 after 20 days time of my booking. Now when i approached the dealer for booking for refill order, they are not accepting my booking, as " AFTER 21 DAYS OF DELIVERY OF PREVIOUS CYLINDER". ONCE THEY SAY IT IS 20 DAYS, LATER 25 DAYS NOW THEY ARE SAYING IT IS 30 DAYS.

Many times even after booking they say we have not booked, and make us to book once again after 1 week, by this way they delay another 1 week, they doesn't respond properly.

Could you please look into the issue and sort it out at the earliest for the welfare and benefit for the society.

    Sir,
    I am Mahesh P N now writing this complaint on behalf of my father Mr. G Na rayanan Nair, Pulickal House Adimaly P O, Idukki Dist, Kerala State having the consumer No: 5469 with Geevee Gas, the agency of Indane gas. They had made a minimum limit of 40 days to book a cylinder and thereafter is not supplying the gas after even 60 days. We are not able to book the cylinder over phone. Nobody is picking up the phone and it will ring everyday.

      Dear Sir,

      I am a LPG customer in north Delhi and my LPG supplier is Jahangirpuri Gas Service-Jahangirpuri Delhi-33

      He is not supplying LPG gas smoothly, mostly supply what we have to get within 21 days, he give us in 28 to 35 days

      although he has a lot of stock always available, instead of to complete regular customer supply he and his hawker mostly doing busy to sale

      LPG in Black Market, if any needy person required cylinder in before 21 days then they tell us law of IOC company about not to supply before

      21 days, then whatever stock he is keeping, can he sale in Black market even same needy customer get offered from their hawker supply in Rs.700

      is this according to law or lawful.

      Secondly, they are now doing a survery with LPG Suraksha Hose pipe & Rs.190, we have already a new pipe but another govt. company, that is. HP

      recomonded, then he said purchase only indane pipe other wise we will not supply to you any cylinder from today onward, who has give him the wright ?

      HP is also a goverment concern pipe should be safe and new, this is not a monopoly to anyone to force anyhow purchase your pipe

      when we are more careful then you about our safety, this kind of buisness activity is illegal, if you and your action team or management

      will not stop those people to do their benficial buisness upon threatened for stoping LPG Supply then I will go to Consumer Court,

        Dear Indian Oil Corporation Limited

        I applied for new gas connection on 01/09/2008 in ANNAI SARADHA GAS SERVICES, 10/B, E.V.R. Road, Puthur, Trichy-620017. I received my intimation letter on 03/10/2008 (booking no.[protected]). I went with all the necessary document on 06/10/2008 to ANNAI SARADHA GAS SERVICES they were forcing me to get hot plate as I already had hot plate which I got from IndianOil Corporation when I was applying for a new connection for immediate usage I got commercial cylinder when I was in coimbatore. I was transferred from that place so that time I am not able to get that connection. So I told them I cant buy the hot plate. I told them I can pay the inspection charges for Hotplate they were told we don’t have inspection book at present we have given it for print and they asked me to come on 10/10/2008, when I went they told still the bill book is not ready and asked me to come on 13/10/2008. I went and paid inspection charge on 13/10/2008 they told me they will give the connection in 2days they were delaying to come and inspected and today(20/10/2008) and after calling them for so many times they send the man for inspection and he is telling that they asked him to check whether it is a new hot plate or not. I told them so clearly that I was using it in coimbatore and in chennai only after that I paid the inspection charge. Just tell me sir is it possible to get hot plate when ever we get a connection. I am expecting an positive reply from your end.

        ANNAI GAS SERVICE — DELAY SUPPLY OF GAS CYLINDER

        DEAR SIR,
        I am a lpg indane gas customer with m/s annai gas service,meyyanur road,salem 4. and my consumer number is 40034.i have booking for a refill cylinder on 13/01/2007 over phone.they replied that they distribute the cylinder with in week. and also they taking the booking only after 30 days of privous delivery.every time they deliver the cylinder 10 days delay after booking date.they not yet to supply the cylinder and not giving proper reply & service. i request you to kindly do the needful.

        Indian Oil Corporation Ltd / Marketing Division — non issue of passbook registered more than 8 and half months lapse

        I have a new gas connection in my name registration on 19/5/2011 vide No. [protected] runing sl. no. 10817 to our nearest distributor NAHAR GAS AGENCY,COLLEGE ROAD, HAILAKANDI,, But till date I have not found gas pass book inspite of repeated requst for which I am find trouble to refilling cylinder.

          I wish to know if there drive by your company in replacing the
          GREEN gas tube with ORANGE tube? If yes what is the norm you
          are following. The people who came to do this job don't seem
          to be genuine but had some laminated certificate with them.

          Sir,
          I have only one request please take action on your dealer Dangwal gas service, 18/242 ring road, indira nagar lucknow because the deler does not provide the gas with in onetime and irritates consumers saying gas is not available today and returns the consumers.
          So please take action immediatly against gas agency because it is spoiling company's credit.

          Indian Oil/indane Gas — very very bad service

          Name of gas distributer - BABARPUR GAS SERVICE
          Complaint - Very Bad Service My consumer no.is 6806 and booking was on 24.02.11 but even till date not delivered even after repeated reminders and earlier also on many occasions the gas was delivered in months.

          Further they were also not responding to our telephone calls the result was that we have to personally visit to the distributer at many times but of no use.This was very bad experience with regard to any gas service.

          Please do the needful.

            My Indane LPG connection number is 8726, Miyapur, hyderabad. I have booked for double cylinder on 9/12/2006 with Sri Saila gas agency. My waiting list number is 26. Till date, i am not provided with the double cylinder.

              I am santosh kumar from Nagpur. I have complained for new cylinder on 28th September and till date (18/10/2008) the cylinder was not delivered and many reasons are being bogged up by the agent. Even the complaint phone number of IOCL is not lifted by any one. THIS IS THE WORST EVER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED.

              very late delivery of gas cylinder
              I am Senthil kumar from usilampatti, madurai(dt)Tamilnadu. I have complained for very late delivery of gas cylinder. i ented on indane gas dealer January 25th and till date (07/02/2009) the cylinder was not delivered and many reasons are being bogged up by the agent. Even the complaint phone number of IOCL is not lifted by any one. THIS IS THE WORST EVER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED.

                Nath Traders (Zamrudpur, South Delhi) are not even taking orders for Refill of my Indane LPG - Cylinder.
                They take 5-6 days to make delivery, and I had to personally visit to pick up refill cylinder from their godown.
                Now they say we should call after 21 days from the date of previous refill

                The cylinder lasts about 18-20 days in my home and i will again be without cooking gas and run around their godowns for my refill !!! PLEASE HELP

                hello sir, I am also customer of Nath Traders (Zamrudpur, South Delhi) .My Consumer No 25358 and my address is 67/1 3rd floor zamrudpur . i regular call Nath traders for refilling but they don't take call . sir when to go there office they say that your gas complaint is booked but they don't send the gas .                 Please Arrange The Gas M-67 Lajpat Nagar Part -I ( Code No - N9386
                Nath Traders are deliberatly putting their telephone lines on held up as we are trying thier number
                for lst one week but could not get through. This problem is faced by every consumers as it has been
                highlighted in the mail but no strict action has been taken against them.
                Its high time that LPG distribution is deregulated. Why should a law-abiding citizen be reduced to begging these scumbags for fulfilling a purely commercial transaction? I don't remember begging my shopkeeper to sell me toothpaste, so why should I have to do it for cooking gas? Unfortunately, the ruling party has a vested interest in keeping these pockets of privilege alive so as to reward their loyal part-workers (read "family members").
                I have been trying to book a gas cylinder for the last ONE WEEK. The phone number is constantly engaged as if somone has put the phones off the hook. Can u please arrange to have a cylinder delivered to me at E - 332 East of Kailash New Delhi - 65. First Floor.

                they have some of the most notorious employees, I dropped in their office and they were talking trash while the phones were ringing constantly. Enterance is through a community gate and takes time to part while their employees are busy munching on snacks or complaining of ringing phones. The government needs to cancel their licence to provide service to the community. I have been trying for the last 10 days and ended up buying cooking gas in black from their people who came to deliver someone. No wonder they do not pick up the phone as they are shareholders in the ripoff!!!

                Consumer no. is 30215 i also agree with all. I have booked my gas by mobile no [protected] on date 13/07/2013 refilling booking no 3845, cash memo no. 3878 massage show the cylinder was delivered but cylinder was not delivered.

                  We have a gas connection in the name of Head, Dairy Technology Division, National Dairy Research Institute, Karnal since 1/10/1997. This was being used for research work in the laboratories of the Dairy Technology Division of this Central Government Institute. When we went to get the cylinder refilled on 17/10/2008 we were told by the dealer (Ms Bhagwaria Gas Service, Hansi Road, Karnal) that our connection/ consumership has been cancelled as no refill had been done for the past 6 months. Kindly revive this, as important research work of a National Institute is suffering for want of gas.

                      As of now I wanted to have reconnection at Kolkata and today I approached an agency at Baguiati. But surprisingly the agency could not idetify the previous agency and asked me to get the following over phone from the thrivananthpuram agency:

                      INDIAN OIL (indane gas) — denying booking

                      Sub.: GAS CYLINDER BOOKING

                      I'm a LPG consumer with M/S TANUSHREE GAS SERVICE Shop No.10,Ashok Plaza Complex,13 Pratap Nagar,Delhi-91. Customer no is 1254.I was trying to book my cylinder telephonic ally on agencys
                      No..[protected] & 22756811 on 29/9/09 (tuesday) for hours the bell was ringing & nobody to pick,so my wife went personally and saw two men sitting ideally when she confronted they said 'hanji yaha tho asahi hai purae din ganti bajthi rahaegi ham bhohat busy hai aap apna no. bataeyae so with no option left she gave the no.and was told aap ka book ho gaya kal parso mae aajayega.On friday ie 2/10/09 we ran out of gas,somehow we managed and expected it receive it on saturday on the 5th day ie 3/10/09.It was quiet obvious that they won't pick the phone so she went personelly and was shocked to find the booking was not done on 29/9/09.When she confronted again she was told 'aaj aap ka book kardethae hai koshish kartae hae sham tak bhej daengae'.And the things got worse when they did send a gas cylinder which was leaking,we came to know about the leak in late evening,when all the doors were closed.(the gas was sent to us in the afternoon at around 4:00 PM)and when we tried to contact it was already closed.Then we had to call the Emergency no.which was attended within one hour by Mr.VIJAY SINGH TOMAR and told us to change the cylinder by next working day and meanwhile keep a damp cloth on the outlet.

                      Right now i am sitting in my home having ready made noodles bought from the Market and waiting for the next working day to come so that i can change my cylinder.

                      I request you to make a system in which the customer is given a reference no. so that he is sure that the gas has been booked in his name,and can challenge the agency for booking.

                        Dear Sir/Madam,
                        I am Rukmini Chaudhuri from Kolkata. I recently wanted to apply for a new LPG domestic gas connection with Nilagni( 32/4 Beadon Street, Kolkata 6) in my new home in Duff Street where I will be shifting after my marriage. I was asked to bring both Ration card and Voter's Id card as proof. Since I am permanently uptil now residing in Jodhpur Park, Kolkata, I have not received my ration card and voter's Id card of the new address and still have the said documents in my paternal address, which I duly produced to the dealer. However The dealer refused to book a new connection. When I insisted that If I produce only ration card as it is not so easy to get a changed voter's id card so soon they were also not willing with that document. They want both the documents. They are also not accepting other documents as address proof like Electricity bill/ Corporation bill. Is it practically possible for a newly wed couple who are just starting life in a new home with a new address to have both the Ration card and the Voter's Id card simultaneously(any one will not be accepted by the dealer) at such a short notice? I would be obliged if you give me the necessary advise on how to proceed with this matter.

                          This distributor has office at No.71/1, mehta Arcade, 15th Crs, 6th Ph, J P Nagar, Bangalore - 560078. They will never pick up the call. I have been trying three phone no.22458991, 41216940, 22456296 continuously for four hours. Many times it rings, no one will pick up. This is happened form several moths. Very Very bad service. IOCL or someone please do something for this.

                          Sri Gurukrupa Indane Distributors — Non attending of booking over phone

                          I have been trying to book my cylinder every month with difficulty. The reason, for the last 4 to 5 months, I am unable to contact any of their four numbers given in the bill. Either the phones are ringing (no one recieves the call) or busy. 24 hour booking no. as well as the helpline nos. are also not responding. I have personally called the Customer care & promptly they had taken the complaint & for the following month I was able to get my refill in time.
                          I have also come to understand that we can get the refill booked after 21 days. But my distributor says minimum 30 days are required for any refill booking.
                          Please get my complaint solved immediately and arrange to get the gas booking done every month over phone itself. The agency is not giving proper response.

                              my name is mr. g. francis having consumer no. 28282 at devi gas service jabalpur. i have booked my gas cylinder on 01/10/2008 and have repetedly asked the agency to supply it. but there was no responce for it. earlyer also i have faced the same problem and had complain it to the sales officer there . (iti tandon) she told me that in future there willl be no problem redarding it. there are only 2 person in my family and the gas usage is very less . but instade of it they are not supplying the gas on time.

                              My name is Mayur malviya and i am one of the custmer of Reliance (SMART)GSM mobile in MP. The problem is that this company is not giving the proper service to the custmer there is no proper network in jabalpur . And if i am complaing to Custmer care of this company so there is no POSITIVE responce. All custmer of Reliance GSM in jabalpur are facing such type of problem but there no responce form company and all pubilc spending money for good service but there is no good service in JABALPUR MP.

                                I (Sri Debasis Pramanick) have applied for a new connection to Balagarh Indane Service in the name of my father Sri Sailen Pramanick on-04.10.2010, but now i have no reply till to day. On-09.01.2011 i went to Balagarh Indane Service to know how long time we wait for the said new connection, then one of the said office reply that you for the said connection another two months, why?

                                  Goevernment Gas agents are seems still in dark. they are rending very poor service and dictating babo dom. In my life worst gas agent I have seen is Shublaxmi Indane, Bopal. Ahmedabad.

                                  When office timing is printed on their list as 8am to 8pm they are not taking booking after 5.30Pm also they never give cylenders without 4-5 reminders and compliants.

                                  Hope new private players with pipe line distribution will solve every one's life problem

                                    MY CONSUMER NO. IS L-13393 WITH LUDHIANA GAS AGENCY, FIELD GANJ, LUDHIANA. I HAVE BOOKED ON 29/09/08 BUT TILL DATE DELIVERY NOT GIVEN. I VISITED OFFICE TWICE BUT NO PROPER RESPONSE. I NEED ONLY ONE CYLINDER AFTER 1.5 MONTHS EVEN THEN IT IS NOT SUPPLIED. MAKING FREQUENT VISITS TO THE AGENCY IS NOT POSSIBLE FOR ME AS I HAVE TO TAKE HALF DAY LEAVE FOR THE SAME. MY WORKING PLACE IS SO FAR FROM THE AGENCY AS WELL AS FROM MY HOUSE. PREVIOUSLY ALSO THE CYLINDER IS SUPPLIED ONLY AFTER TWO VISITS AND ALSO QUERREL WITH THEM. I SHOULD GET PROPER DELIVERY OF THE CYLINDER WITHOUT ANY PROBLEM. WHEN I BOOKED THE CYLINDER THEN WHAT IS THE FUN OF VISITING THEIR OFFICE AGAIN AND AGAIN. PLEASE AUTHORISE THE AGENCY TO DELIVER CYLINDER IN TIME TO AVOID ANY PROBLEM.

                                      We hold a Indane gas connection #32321 on my Father's name (R Gopal Reddy) in Mukund enterprises, H.no 3-4-874/D, Barkatpura, Opp. Andhra Yuvathi Mandali. The connection was taken when we resided in HNo. 1-8-264, 2nd floor, Chikkadpally - 500020. We have shifted from Chikkadpally to Chandanagar last year in June 2007. From then we are following up with our old Gas agent to transfer our connection. Till recently he said it is transfered to Chandanagar, but he failed to issue the related documents and never gave us the consumer number alloted for us at Chandanagar. We enquired in Chandanagar and they say no gas connection is transfered on our name. We again enquired the old Indane gas mgr and now after 1 year he says he will return the gas connection amt if we submit the Regulator and empty cylinder and suggests us to take a new connectoin at chandanagar. This is not a good option at all, as there is scarcity of new connections and he made us wait till 1+ years to say all this.

                                      We are now residing at Flat 203, H.No 6-36, Srinilayam, Chandanagar - 500050. Please try to enquire on this and help us get our connection transfered.

                                      Sub:- Request to send the transfer voucher – reg.

                                      Consequent up on my transfer from RLI, Chennai to CLI, Mumbai, I have requested The Thriloks Gas Service to transfer my gas connection Consumer No. 39851 to Mumbai. I have deposited 2 No's cylinders and regulator on 18.4.2011 and original subscription voucher No. 2899503 on 19.5.2011. Because of strike it was promised me, the transfer voucher will be send by speed post in the first week of June, 2011 to my Mumbai address. Now I came to know that the dealer ship of M/s. Thriloks Gas Service is cancelled and all connections are transferred to M/s. Adayar Gas Agencies, Adayar, Chennai. Now my connection is live with them and my new Consumer No.51317. I request you to instruct Adayar Gas Agencies, to send transfer voucher to Mumbai address by transferring my connection. In this regard I sent a letter addressed to Triloks Gas Service, Chennai on 11.8.2011 by speed post.
