I have booked a gas cylinder on 06 07 2008 at Annai Cauvery Gas supply, Pallipalayam, Erode 7. My consumer no is 8761. on 15th July we have gone to hospital and informed my negioubor to recieve the cylinder. The delivery boy refused to hand over the cylinder and said that the cylinder would be delivered to the particular consumer. Then I enquired the agency they informed me that since we were away at the time of delivery, the cylinder will be delivered on the next day. But they did not supply on the next day also. I asked them that when we were waiting to recieve the cylinder they did not supply the same and informed us that the load man was away, but when we were gone to hospital they refused to handover the cylinder to my neighbour. Till today 17thJjuly I have not received the cylinder. We understand that they sell the cylinders at bribe for other people. There are many compliants on them and so many consumers are facing delibrate delay of delivery of gas cylinders by ANNAI CAUVERY GAS AGENCY, PALLIPALAYM, ERODE 7

Everybody should first appreciate the fact that they deliberately refused to give the cylinder to the neighbours. This only shows the measure taken by the agency to reduce the duplicacy and let us not assume things like they are selling it to someone else.

For me, they have been very prompt in the supplies and i feel them to be the best in the area.
I do recommend this agency to others too.i'm right now in Chennai and i miss their service. probably u should get the feel of other services to compare them with.

I would suggest you to lodge a direct complaint with them .

    Sir/Madam,
    I the undersigned customer bearing 2 connections, vide customer No- 6639A by name Mr Ajit Kumar Gupta & 13395 by name Mrs Kalpana Gupta, registered under UNITED NOVELITIES GAS SUPPLY, CHANDANNAGAR [99210567] would like to transfer my gas connections to my new address at sontoshpur, kolkata recently. But when I went to my dealer for transfer, he started giving several excuses resulting in delays and harassments. He also asked for the deposit slip that was taken 10-15 years back which is not available now. He had also sent me to police station to lodge an FIR. Still all in vain. After all these he is asking for minimum of 1 month’s time for transfer.
    So its my ardent request to look into this matter as a priority as I am not keeping well now a days and is under dialysis, and arrange to transfer my gas connections to my new address at the earliest and oblige.

    These agencies are acting asthough they doing favour to the public. In my case, it's been nearly a month since i've booked for refilling / replenishment. But This SHIV SHANKAR AGENCIES in Chennai, always says 2 days, 2 days, but that 2 days have never come in thier Calendar. When i asked, the way they respond is too much, first to get their line itself is a miracle and even if we get it by any chance, one female picks up and say 2 days and bang the phone down. I even visted them personally but the response was bad. They think that they are God and favouring us! IOCL should put an end to these issues and educate their Agencies how to interact with their Consumers! We are not slave for them!

    Indian Oil — problem in gas transfer

    dear sir my self rakesh kumar singh i have transferd my gas connection from hyderabad to jagdalpur( chattisgarh) . when i went to local indane gas dealer and ask for gas connection he told me to come after one week. after one week again he told me to came after to more days again when i went to dealer after two days he again saying me to come after four more days so i told him that i want the gas connection i cannot wait any further . so he asked me to pay Rs 2200.00 and take the gas connection then i told him why you are asking me to pay this amount instead of amount Rs 950.00 which is written on the tranfer paper. so he told me that we cannot give you gas connection now first a confermation letter will come then only i should give the connection.

    what to do . is this kind of rules are there.

    i have double cylinder gas connection in my name at sivakai (tamilnadu)
    but few months before i exchange my name form sivakasi to chennai (in our family ration card) so now, gas dealer is not giving the cylindar. because of my name transfered. so shall i transfer to my mother or brother - address - dealer same only. only transfer name thats all.

    but i dont have any connections receipt which they gave earlier i lost it.

    please consider this letter and help me get back my family - what i have to do?

      Sir,
      On-Off Switch of our LP Gas Regulator has broken but it is functioning. When i contact to our dealer for exchange the same, he charged Rs. 250/-. So i want to know that what is the charging price for exchanging the regulator
      i) in broken condition
      ii) in other condition

      Indane Gas-LPG Gas — Amount charged for Regulator

      Sir,

      I am consumer of Indane Gas since several years on my name (Mohammed Anwar, consumer No.
      is 24614. Due to the leakage problem my regulator was changed on 24 Jan 2003. Now I have faced the
      same problem, and after several complaints technician notified that regulator has to be replaced.

      I went to my gas dealer Hari Narayan Indane gas forcebly charged me Rs. 50/- for replacing new one.
      Bill no. 3593. and showing in the bill as service charges and Doc. Booklet.

      What I assumed that regulator should be replaced on free of cost as i used old one since more than
      6 years.

      Please do necessary to recover my amount.

        I am a consumer of Sonker Gas Agency, Arya Ngr, Kanpur. Since I am away from Kanpur most of the time I do not get it refilled nor ask anyone to collect the LPG in scarce time also.

        Two weeks ago I approached the Gass Agency for booking I was told that my name has been blocked by Indian Oil (Lucknow) and a refill will be allowed only if I buy a rubber tube from them.

        On approaching the concerned officer of Indian Oil Mr. Sudhakar on cell # [protected] I was told that this will not happen in future.

        Today 3rd Oct 08 I approached the said distributor for booking but was told that he can manage it this time but in future he may not be able to get my gass refilled and also told me that my connection will be tranfered to some other agency.

        The above fact has been mailed to the Lucknow office of Indian Oil Corpn.

        Indane Gas — blacking of indane gas

        I am having a Consumer No.008584with the vikas Indane mahamaya road ambikapur 497001 (c.g). I booked for Gas cylinder on 13.09.2007 refill order no 1170 with an assurance that the cylinder will be delivered within 3 working days. But the same has not been delivered till date. one & only reply from the vikas indane[protected] is that gas is not coming. While you can purchas indane gas @ Rs 400/ from any gas repair shope at ambikapur. kindly look into the matter & do needfull immidiatly.

        Kanpur: Sonkar Gass: Refusal of supply of LPG. — LPG booking refusal by Sonkar Gass Kanpur: Due to sale of rubber tube.

        ON THE CONTEXT OF SONKAR GAS, INDANE LPG SUPPLIER I WOULD LIKE TO DRAW YOUR KIND INFORMATION THAT THE COMPANY IS PUTTING PRESSURE ON ALL THE DISTRIBUTORS TO SELL THE RUBBER TUBING.

        I am the consumer of LPG and have connection with M/s Sonkar Gas Arya Nagar Kanpur. They do not book Cylinder before 21 days of the delivery of lastly supplied, and it take minimum 15 days for supplying the cylinder. It means it take minimum 36 days for getting the gas cylinder from the supplier. I have DBC but due to large number of family members and guests it is very difficult to adjust.I have to borrow the cylinder every month.

        I came to know by the law /rule of RTC that there is no rule/ provision of 21 days for booking the/demand the cylinder.I also contact
        Mr. M. Bhatnagar, the concerned officer of IOC posted at Kanpur, Mobile [protected] but no problem has been solved. I request you
        to please look into the matter that why the cylinder has not been being booked by the supplier ie. M/s Sonkar Gas, Arya Nagar, Kanpur, before 21 days of last supplied date and illegal provision of 21 days is being thurst upon the consumers, and why the complaint not being looked by the concern officer Mr. M. Bhatnagar.

          taking extra money on new connection thus i want to know the real price of new connection in jharkhand. I request to send the price list on my email Id as soon as possible.

          gas cylinder — New Gass Connection

          I am trying to get a new connection from HP Gas Agency in Karawal Nagar, Delhi in the name of ANAND STORE (HP), Rati Rak Market, Tukhmir pur Raod. First they insisted to buy a new stove from them. Then they sent one person for inspection and looking at the stove in my home they said you already have a connection. For this visit they charged me Rs. 150/- vide receipt No. 657 dated 16/07/2008.
          As per a ruling by MRTPC (Monopolies and Restrictive Trade Practices Commission) these agencies or LPG distributing companies can not force the customers to buy a new stove from them. But these guys seem to be so confident that nothing will happen to them if they contnue to harass us like this.

          I am retired person having problem visiting agency again and again they even booked my connection vide No. N/C Booking, 66/ dated 9/6/08. so pl look into this matter and stop such kind currept person to run agency and harrasse people for no reason.
          I hope that the authority will realise to do something early.

          Indane Gas — UNNECESSARY HARRASMENT AND ASKING FOR EXRA MONEY

          SIR
          WHEN YOU BOOK A LPG CYLENDER WITH UTTARAYAN GAS SERVICE JANGRA BAGUIHATI (CODE NO. 140475) YOU HAVE TO PAY AMOUNT OF RS 2500/- EXTRA WITHOUT ANY BILL, OTHERWISE YOU CAN'T BOOK A CYLENDER.

          IF YOU WANT A DBC IN SPITE YOU ARE ELIGIBLE FOR THAT YOU HAVE TO PAY RS. 1500/- EXTRA WITHOUT ANY BILL

          IF YOU DON'T HAVE THE SAME PLEASE DON'T COME TO THIS OFFICE.THESE ARE THE LAST REPLY OF THE OFFICER IN CHARGE.

          I am Indane cooking gas customer and my distributor is M/s Shri Vighnesh Indane, Housing Board Colony, Bartand, Dhanbad (Jharkhand) . Their telephone number is[protected].

          The moment I wanted to attache a gas cylinder ( Indane) with regulator and that was done but while opening the cylinder through the knob for passing of gas, there was leakage from the neck of the cylinder ( outlet). I tried two times repeatedly, but it behaved same way. The complaint was rightfully lodged at about 10.20 A.M. on 7.9.2009 on the above phone number. On my saying that I could bring the cylinder myself for its redressal, but they insisted that their man would go to my house and attend to the complaint. Seeing that no man came upto 4.00 PM, again I telephoned at same number and I was told that the man would definitely come within 5.00 P.M., but no one came whole day. I have started the same process of telephoning starting from 10.30 A.M. today ( 08.09.2009) and I was told after a minute of keeping me hold over phone that the man could not go yesterday but would certainly go today. God knows if they are going to attend to the cylinder.

          I had to face difficulty since I had to make alternate arrangement for my cooking use and my cylinder 's fate still hanging.

          Please forward my complaint to the right officer for immediate action as I feel the distribuotor once supplies gas will not attend so quickly. This is the general tendancy of the distributors irrespective of
          of your policies to deal such like cases like mine. There shold be accountability of the distributors of their this type of conduct.

          i m customer of bachhan gas service, shimlapuri ,Ludhiana,Punjab. when ever their delivery, man comes to deliver refilled LPG cylinder never brings scale to weight the
          cylinder, every time we have to take cylinder without checking weight, as u know it is mentioned on your bill that check weight before accept cylinder, what should we do,
          Again yesterday 2 lady came from the same gas agency & charged Rs-60/- as mandatory check, i don't know what is this, the connection is in my father name we are using our cylinder why should pay extra amount in the name of checking, its really disgusting, plz take some action asap against them those make fool public.

            Charged Rs 175/- for regulator replacement

            My regulator was leaking on 11.09.08 and on 12.09.08 i deposited the regulator to my Gas Agency (M/S Sikha, Bharalumukh, Guwahati-Assam).on 1.10.08 after a brief fight of words i got the new regulator but at a cost of Rs. 175/-. i was told that we have to buy the gas pipe(worth Rs. 125/-) as it has been made mandatory by the company and no receipt for the payment of Regulator(Rs. 50/-) has been handed to me and instead a receipt of Rs. 0/-(zero)...

            i have been supplied with 5 kg cylenders from the above suppliers he supplies from belgaum division
            indane gas . since 1year he is assuering me to get the small cylenders . but now he is saying that he con't supply it now instead he is asking me to surrender it and take big on [ie 14.2 kg]cylender.Those 5 kg cylenders were handy and easily lifted to the supply place on 2 wheelers. Kindly see that supply of 5kf cylenders are started again in our area. i am mentioning the full address of the supplier in our place.

                I M Consumer of Indane LPG with their Distributor Divyansh Indane Indore MP India under consumer No. 2765 .
                Since 18 months I m requesting Distributor to allot me DBC on my connection but they r giving assurance only for month or two thus they are delaying only, I want to know from authorities of Company principaly what is their Policy and when they are going to issue me above DBC?because in absence of DBC I still workless after finishing and another delivery of LPG, in this situation I m suffering a lot.

                NON ISSUE OF DBC SINCE LAST 13 YEARS

                Respected Sir,

                I am a working widow women in Railway Deptt. and could not got DBC against my Indane connection no. 1523 issued on 13 Sep 1998 in AGRA. I am a consumer at Ravi Raj Gas Agency Agra Cantt Agra UP and distributor keeps on giving verbal assurances since past 13 years. I suffer a lot and unable to know as what to do. Please let me know about the step to be taken in getting the DBC, any priority given to long waiting old connections by Indane. Please help me.

                    My complaint is about refilling of my gas cyllender
                    your distributor of Palam Vihar Area M/s Golden Gas Service, 233, Palam Vihar, Gurgaon, is not provinding refilling service well. I have DBC connection.

                    Your agency refills my cyllinder once in one & half month on my DBC connection.

                    Is there any rule on DBC connection to refill one & half a month if not then take appropriete step against your distributor of our city.

                    My second complaint is about booking of refill of my cyllinder on phone. Your distributor does not provide any response properly.

                    There are other indane Distributors in my area, whenever i requested to transfer my Connection to another Distributors, he
                    always refuses and begins to misbehave.

When visiting the agency they showcase lack of responsibility blaming the driver and when contacting the driver viceversa.The staff's uncourteous behaviour is also to be noted, especially the driver. After further enquiry made in the locality it has been come to my knowledge they deliver the gas to those houses who pay 50rs above the market price. Your promt due action in this matter is highly anticipated.

                      Indane Gas — delaying delivery/lack of responsibility

                      my consumer number is 161327 and the agency is Pooja Gas , edapalli(unichira) .I had done gas refill booking online on19-06-10 and the The cylinder has not been delivered yet . I had personally met the delivery man , and every time I ws told that delivery will be effected ' the same day " This has been going on for two weeks ! I have observed that those who " beg and plead " with the person get immediate service whereas customers like me are totally ignored .

                      I tried making a complaint online , by dialling [protected] , and when I press 2 for complaint I always get get the response "some time they says i got last delivory on 30;6;2010, i dont know what play was in prosessing between dealer and delivery man .... needless to say , it is quite frustrating .

I want to know whether he took genuine rate from me or not. I think the charging rate by extension counter of M/s Dhanpati Gas is the highest ruling price in India.                           I applied and got membership of NTPC.EMP.CONS.&THRIFT CO-OPT. SOCIETY in the year 1991-92 and accrdingly I used to purchased gas 3-4 times in a year since then. But several times I complained that the weight of gas is less than 10 kg instead of 14.2 kg. but the above society person were not taking any action.Now in this area there are lot of small business men are using gas cylinder for cooking and after using 7-8 days they used to return that cylinder to gas godown . The responsible clerks are giving delivery to good behaved man like me. And more over in NTPC Colony maximum users are using heater also beside indane gas and so maximum people were not aware of this things also.
                          Knowing the above fact you please take necessary action so that we get the proper goods in proper time. And please watched it without giving notice to them. And more over my suggestion that if the agency is giving to any unemplyee students or any business men then service will be better because the society person are NTPC Employees and it is difficult after doing 8hrs.duty to give good service to members or purchaser of indane gas. Further I am requesting to you that please before taking any action my name should be kept silent, other wise what ever I am getting service now in future I may not get it .

We are a family of 6 members and we only use Gas to cook food only which is also in the morning. In the aftrnoon only 8-10 chapatis are cooked and in the evening again about 14 chappatis, one dal and soup in winters. Normally it has been availble to get thru for 25 days. This time it has been just 6 days and on 23rd morning the Gas was empty.

                          We have been getting Gas frm Mohanil Gas Service, IIT Chowk, Near Essex Farms.

                          We have been trying to contact your Toll free no. [protected] there is no reponse, we tried 23411282, there is no response & 23411654 the no. does not exist. There was another no. for Leakage[protected] ( there was no response ), another no.[protected] which is obviously a wrong no.) .

                          ONE OF INDIA'S LARGEST GAS SERVICE INDANE OF INDIAN OIL, HAVING A VERY BAD CUSTOMER PROCESS AS NONE OF THERE NOS. DEFINED ON THERE INVOICE ARE AVAILABLE TO ANSWER OR HELP A CUSTOMER.

                            I am a customer of Indane, Karnataka Food & Civil Supplies Corp. Ltd., Hebbal, Bangalore. My customer no. is :- 23077. My Problem is we have been trying to contact our Gas agency for Booking Gas cylinder through telephone a lot of times. However, we came to know that the Distributor has moved to some other unknown location. We did not receive any kind of notice as such before they moved out. We are already running shortage of Gas and trying to manage somehow for the time being. We have also tried to find out its whereabouts from the other Indane distributors. They are unable to provide us with the appropriate contact details and the number.
                            Is there any way out I can get in touch with my distributor ?

                              Agency of Indane Gas - Raj Flame, Mohan Garden, Delhi, India, is not bothered to attend phones, doesn't care for honoring bookings, is selling cooking gas in black, is indulging in malafide business practices. Is anyone there to to listen? IOC is a public sector compnay, so it doesn't matter if it looses business. Is there any statutory bodies who can take care of a genuine customer who use hardly a LPG cylender in a month

                              IOCL LTD/ Indane gas — delay in attending emergency case

                              Gas leakage was complained this morning (23.12.2009) at 9.10 am to (M/s Sabhari Agencies Kilpauk ,Chennai.) regarding heavy release of GAS on opening the knob.
                              The agent said that technician will be sent within 1 hour. In the first place this is an emergency case and needs immediate attention . The person was sent only after 12:30 pm and was not properly attended to . Imedeatly we called and got the same done second time.

                              In furture kindly arrange a separate cell to attend such cases on the spot to avoid calamities.
                              I am a customer of Kleen Gas with Cust no-7503 . Booked my refill request on 22nd Dec, visited their office on 4th Jan and me& my wife must have dialed their number more than 100 times just for a gas. They picked up only once or twice promising to send the gas but till date no gas has been sent. If a reward is instituted for bad customer service, Kleen Gas will definitely get it.

                              Booking of gas is very difficult as they are not picking up the telephone. Always it seems that they have delibrately keep the phones are busy. Whenever it rings they will not pickup.

                              I would like to know their intention. What is they are doing ? It seems that they are giving all the domestic gas cylinders to commercial customers and selling in the black market.

                              I am Dr. Subhash Chand Lali live in Dilshad Colony and my distributer is Sidhu Enterprises, Dilshad Garden vide Telephone Agency No.[protected] & 22575960 respectively. My Consumer no. is 06933/

                              I booked the cylender on 23/05/2011 by central booking system using [protected] no. but my distributer has not delevered at all. According to him there is a acute shortage of cylenders.

                              My other cylender is also going to be over. You are requested to take the necessary action against my distributer as early as possible.

                              Indane LPG — Non-attendance of emergency call

                              Indane LPG Cons. No.34968 with Chella Agencies, Selaiyur Chennai-73- Gas cylinder leakage complained to Emergency cell on phone [protected] at about 6 am on 30/9/2011 with all details but till this time of 1.42 pm none has attended the complaint. None of the numbers is reachable including the distributor. Put to lot of inconvenience. Complaint requires to be attended to immediately.

                              This is manoj, I am living abroad my family is in Dehradun, we have enquired about how to get a new LPG connection and apply online on 19 of July 2013 with reference number N[protected] since I am not in India my wife went to Uttaranchal gas service and they ask for some documents then she arrange all the documents ask by them and went again there, this time they ask for bank IFSC code and correction of the name in ration card she did that and went again there, this time they said server is down you come after one week, after one week she went again and this time they said you have to come end of the month, again she went back and come back in end of the month this time they said you have to buy gas stove along with connection which we refuse since we have already, then they said someone will come to your house in one week for verification no one came then we ask for the telephone no. of the person who supposed to come for the verification, she call him and he come but person doesn’t know why he is here. Now they are telling you cannot get connection since you have gas stove at home. They are really giving her very hard time which cannot be tolerable
                              Is this our system?? Person who is sitting there he doesn't know how to behave with people. This is unbearable for me hope you will take some serious action before I go further.

                              their dealer vijay gas agency never picks up the phone and all 24 x 7 their land lines are engaged. Cylinders are also not delivered to customers in time.

                              I am N.Krishnan, aged 77 years, my consumer No. is 5045 of Mini Gas Agency, Kundara. The distributor is not giving home delivery of the cylinder, they are telling come and collect the cylinder. Please take immediate action against them.

                                I am trying to contact the gas agency to book the gas by phone[protected]/1135) but nobody picks up the phone and if by mistake someone picks up the phone then it is put on hold for 15 minutes or till the time the line is disconnected by caller.This is ridiculous as this is nothing but harsing the customer.My wife is not able to go to the centre as my baby is small and she can't take her out to book the gas.

                                  indane gas company godown situated at road no.4 green hills colony sroornagar hyderabad 500035.
                                  the surrounding area flats and houses with about600+ inhabitants
                                  are suffering the nose pollution since the start of the depo especially, senior citizens like me, housewifes and kids.
                                  the full cylinders arethrown out of vehicle on the fllor and empty cylinders back into vehicle. RESULTING IN
                                  1)UNBERABLE NOISE
                                  2) RISK OF EXPLOSION OF FULLCYLINDERS
                                  3)DESHAPING OF CYLINDER WHEN ONE IS THROWN ON ANOTHER
                                  I HUMBLY SUGGEST that a great gaint like you caneasily avoid this by simple improvements in material handling.
                                  my simple and positive suggestion is
                                  I) to use gravity principle to roll the cylinders by using hard rubber lined inclind planes(like the kids slide in gardens) and roll full cylinders upto the foot of godown entrance-noiselessly, with out damage and you may save man power too.
                                  the same process can be reversed for empty cylinders by making suitable patform-screw operated jack(or hydraulic).
                                  2) a strong rotating chain (powered or manual) with lot of hooks spaced equal to cylinder width hook one cylinder to each hook and unload cylinder when it comes to the point. as the chain rotates slowly cylinders can be loaded at one pont and unloaded at the other.
                                  as the chain rotates like looped conveyer it will be useful for loading and unloading.
                                  I am an engineer worked in textile for 40 years and material handling is one of our prime job- for ease, saftey, cost saving .
                                  i hope you will take this and put your r&d experts to implement as it saves, reduces sound, increase saftey and life of cylinders.
                                  atleast 20% percent of cyliders are not in perfect shape(this is rough assumption and i cannot produce data)

                                    Sir,
                                    I am writing u from Khajuraho, Madhya Pradesh.
                                    I am having lpg connection with the indane dealer 'LAXMI INDANE'.
                                    my CONSUMER NO. is 941. Whenever I go to book a cylinder, they do the booking in a plain register, they did not give any reciept...and when I ask about the reciept they always say ki " baad mein aakar raseed katwa lena " means I have to go twice and thrice to just register my booking for a cylinder. They never register it on the first visit.
                                    On first visit they provide a number and ask you to book the cylinder after 4-5 days.
                                    On second/third visit they take money Rs.335/- .Never give the reciept and cylinder will be delivered after two three days.
                                    The question is "why can't the dealer book the cylinder in first visit ?
                                    And there is no complaint register of INDAIN at the outlet.
                                    Please do the needful.

                                    LPG — Irregularities in booking refill

                                    I have a connection with M/S Ess Bee Enter.( which has phone no as[protected] and[protected] bearing No 12165 in the name of my elder brother Mr. Babadin. It is noticed on several occations that my refill is illegally booked and sold in "BLACK". For last instance when I give a call on 20.1.2008 (first of all no one pick up the phone and when the phone is answered) it is told me that my refil has already booked on 11.01.2008 and delivered it is not understood when i have not booked my refill prior to 20.01.2008 how it is booked and where it is delivered? I would like to see the delivery receipt and it is still not delivered on this date i.e. 29.1.2008.

                                      REPLACE FAULTY REGULATOR

                                      I am INDANE GAS Company' s costumer having connection no.14941 in GUJRAL GAS SADAR, JABALPUR (M.P).Previous week my regulator got faulty and presently its leaking GAS.I went to GUJRAL GAS Agency to change my regulator .But they are asking me to pay
                                      Rs. 200/- to replace faulty regulator.
                                      Therefore i want you to please suggest me what to do .As far as i know it's company's duty to change regulator free of cost....
