[Resolved]  Irctc — money not refunded

While booking ticket from irctc my money was deducted from my account but i was unable to book the tickets. Now when im asking for the refund of money they (irctc-ggm ,chennai) are saying that they have already refunded my money. But till yet i havn't recieved my money. Im attaching all the details regarding this complain. This is the refund details send to me bye them.

I AM AN REGISTERED USER OF IRCTC AS Zahir4U, I USED TO BOOK ONLINE RAIL TICKET THROUGH IRCTC USING MY SBI ATM CUM DEBIT CARD.BUT ON 18TH MAY 2009 I WAS BOOKING E-TICKET USING MY SBI CARD(RS.2383)WITH TWO TRANSACTIONS, BUT TICKET NOT CAME NOT EVEN ITS SHOWING FAILED TRANSACTION ON IRCTC' WEB SITE BUT MONEY HAVE BEEN DEDUCTED FROM MY ACCOUNT.I ALSO LIKE TO MENTION THE TRANSACTION ID'S ( [protected], [protected], [protected] ).I ALSO CALLED THE IRCTC'S CUSTOMER CARE TO GET THE DETAILS OF SUCH ID'S.BUT THEY SAID BETTER TO SEND AN MAIL, I ALSO SEND AN MAIL, BUT THE REPLY IS NOT UNDERSTANDABLE BY ME.SO I THOUGHT ITS BETTER TO INFORM CONSUMER FORUM.SO SIR ITS A REQUEST PLEASE LOOK AFTER MY MATTER AND TAKE AN APPROPRIATE ACTION TO IT.

Without any information, train diverted his root on 18/05/09 from phulera Station instead of Gandhi Nagar Station. I am having the written note from station master with his stamp
I filed tdr on 25/05/09 of PNR no- [protected]. Admin has been approved my amount but still i am
waiting for the same. I marked mail on [protected]@irctc.co.in for refunding my amont.

Sorry for the inconvenience. Kindly note that your refund case of PNR No. [protected] has been forwarded to CCM/Northern Railway on dt. 27.05.09. Refund yet not received from concerned railway, so we are sending a reminder with all the papers pertaining to your refund case to concerned railway on dt. 04.09.09 to chase up the cases. As soon as refund, if any, received it will be credited to your card account.

I received revert from tdr process on 05/09/09 but still amount is not credited to credit card company.

I have booked 5 tickets from madgaon to calicut for 23rd of june on 13th june using the online reservation service of irctc. But when i tried to make the payment it is said that the transaction is not possible. I didnt get any pnr number and a sum of Rs.1430/- was debited from my account on 13th june.

Sir, I am done 05 seats for irctc online reservation to my irctc acount sam_chitte, to 04 jul 11, i will be pay money from my SBI Debit Card of Rs. 3596 from Jammu tawi to Didingul Jn. but some internet connection will be fault that time. so my reservation ticket is not get. then i call to costomer care that replies complaint to irctc. so pl 10 day held but no refund money in my acount so pl request to action on my complaints.
Myself, Dr Deepti Vimal with log in user name as deepswap78 had applied for TDR.I had my journey from Sevagram to Secunderabad dated 2nd July 2010 under Tatkal quota in Train Patna - Secunderabad Express, 12792.My PNR number is [protected].Train was late for more than three hours so i had to cancel my trip and therefore i didnt travelled and had applied for TDR.The scheduled time of arrival at Sevagram station is 12:56 pm and i had applied for TDR at around 4:10 pm.Train came after 4:30 pm.
My reference number is ekt[protected].Now my TDR status says CCM Regretted.Does this mean my money is now not refundable?Why is it so if my train was late for more than 3 hrs? I am eligible for the refund of money.

No Refund For Tatkal Reservations See To Rules & Regulations
You will get the money in another 1 week. It takes time to process refund by the bank. First ask others about the issue rather than getting impatient about money not refunded. Be at peace.

I have booked my railway ticket with Username: reddy_L and i recently cancelled that ticket i.e., on 31-08-12 and finally when i see on website on 02-09-12,it shows money is refunded on 02-09-12 but actually till now 06-09-12 ,my money is not refunded into my account.

I had booked a train ticket for me and my friend for train no 12805 JANMABHOOMI EXP VSKP to SC which is boarded on 15/09/2013.through online in irctc website.when the chart is prepared we had a waiting list of 8 and 9 .when we consulted the TT about the matter he said that we had not been alloted the seat and also ticket is not valid for travelling in general . he said that the money will be refunded back as it is booked through online.so we rushed to the ticket counter and brought another ticket.when we checked the status of our refundable amount it shows that there are no refund available .
I had booked a ticket from IRCTC (PNR No:[protected]) using which i was supposed to travel from Cuttack to Bangalore on 16th Oct. On that very day the train was running late by more than 7 hrs. So i had to cancel my journey.
In order to cancel my ticket i had to file TDR in the IRCTC website. So i called the Customer Care Executive of IRCTC inquiring of how and at what time i should file TDR against my ticket. A lady had picked up the call and she told me that as the train is running 7 hrs late so you can file the TDR anytime within that delayed time and i did the same.
On 4th Nov i received a mail from IRCTC stating that my request has been regretted and the reason being "TDR was filed beyond the prescribed time limit".
I replied them saying that IRCTC is sole responsible for my regression of refund since i had done what their Customer Care Representative had advised me to do. I had asked them for more investigation into this matter as i cannot let my money go for not travelling. But till now i haven't got any response from them. Even after sending reminder mail they are ignoring me and trying to hide from me.
Dear Sir/Madam,

Against my TDR request no - less amount have been refunded. Entire Rs.1455.00 should have been refunded but only Rs.480.00 has been refunded.

According to the new TDR rules 100% of the amount had to be refunded as the train was late by more than 3 hours and passenger has not traveled. The train was late by more than 3 hours that day.

Please do the needful.

We travelled from lalkuan to new delhi on 29th june 2014 in train number 02039/LKU NDLS AC SPL with PNR number [protected]. we had e-ticket which was partially confirmed i.e. confirmed for 2 and waiting for 2. As in waiting passesngers are not allowed to travel in e-tickect, only 2 o[censored]s with confirmed seats travelled. On boarding we requested TC for a non travel certificate for other 2 members he denied and said that they do not have any such certificate and he will not be able to provide us anything. We requested him number of times on which he said that the money will automatically be refunded and they do not provide with any certificate. We also filed TDR that very day with registration number DNR050714W05441. We called IRCTC and reported the matter as we have faced this issue earlier also and they said they will take it further to indian railways, But On 4th we received a TDR repudiate mail. What can one do when TC himself is not providing with the certificate and bluntly refuses on demanding non travel certificate for waitlist passengers. Please help.
