Dear sir,
My UserID and Password registered with IRCTC long ago are found INVALID by IRCTC. But It does not allow a NEW Registration with the old Mob Number of mine. It does not suggest any other corrective guideline. It appears anytime one wants to register newly, one has first to buy a new sim with which fresh registration is likely.
What a joke?
What a profession is the Railways of India?

    PAYMENT DEDUCTED BUT TICKET NOT RECEIVED

    Respected sir/madam
    I have booked a ticket through irctc.co.in at around 3 pm on 27 feb 2012 in mailaduturai exp, Train No.16232 (Mysore to Bangalore , Departure time: 3:45 am) from date of journey 27/02/2012, with the name of 2 passengers, through INDIAN BANK Debit Card. The total fare of Rs 240 has been deducted from my Indian Bank account, but no ticket was shown. Payment is deducted from my bank. So kindly credit the amount back in my account.

    IRCTC — Ticket not delivered - amount deducted

    I was trying to book a I Ticket with IRCTC Website , while booking after making the payment using by HDFC Netbanking option, the web browser did not get redirected to IRCTC portal, so i did not get any confirmation regarding the booked ticket. However if i see the booking history, it says no history found.

    So i am not sure whether the ticket is being booked or not as i do not have any reference number, neither the ticket got delivered to my registered address .
    Still the amount has been deducted from my HDFC Bank account

      money debited but Ticket not generated
      hello,

      I booked a 2 ac ticket from mumbai to delhi at 11 30 today thru net banking .the money got debited from my account and ticket or pnr not generated .web page expired and re login also not hapenning.pl help

Now when im asking for the refund of money they (irctc-ggm ,chennai) are saying that they have already refunded my money. But till yet i havn't recieved my money.           Myself, Dr Deepti Vimal with log in user name as deepswap78 had applied for TDR.I had my journey from Sevagram to Secunderabad dated 2nd July 2010 under Tatkal quota in Train Patna - Secunderabad Express, 12792.My PNR number is [protected].Train was late for more than three hours so i had to cancel my trip and therefore i didnt travelled and had applied for TDR.The scheduled time of arrival at Sevagram station is 12:56 pm and i had applied for TDR at around 4:10 pm.Train came after 4:30 pm.

          No Refund For Tatkal Reservations See To Rules & Regulations
          You will get the money in another 1 week. It takes time to process refund by the bank. First ask others about the issue rather than getting impatient about money not refunded. Be at peace.

          i booked a ticket from sambalpur (odisha) to new delhi in train with no 18507 which i cancelled on 08-JUL-2013 now the status is that the amount is refunded on 10-JUL-2013...but the amount is not refunded to my account till date....my pnr no is [protected] trnsaction id [protected] pls help me get my money as soon as possible..my id is"[protected]@gmail.com" thank you!!!
          I had booked a train ticket for me and my friend for train no 12805 JANMABHOOMI EXP VSKP to SC which is boarded on 15/09/2013.through online in irctc website.when the chart is prepared we had a waiting list of 8 and 9 .when we consulted the TT about the matter he said that we had not been alloted the seat and also ticket is not valid for travelling in general . he said that the money will be refunded back as it is booked through online.so we rushed to the ticket counter and brought another ticket.when we checked the status of our refundable amount it shows that there are no refund available .
          I had booked a ticket from IRCTC (PNR No:[protected]) using which i was supposed to travel from Cuttack to Bangalore on 16th Oct. On that very day the train was running late by more than 7 hrs. So i had to cancel my journey.
          In order to cancel my ticket i had to file TDR in the IRCTC website. So i called the Customer Care Executive of IRCTC inquiring of how and at what time i should file TDR against my ticket. A lady had picked up the call and she told me that as the train is running 7 hrs late so you can file the TDR anytime within that delayed time and i did the same.
          On 4th Nov i received a mail from IRCTC stating that my request has been regretted and the reason being "TDR was filed beyond the prescribed time limit".
          I replied them saying that IRCTC is sole responsible for my regression of refund since i had done what their Customer Care Representative had advised me to do. I had asked them for more investigation into this matter as i cannot let my money go for not travelling. But till now i haven't got any response from them. Even after sending reminder mail they are ignoring me and trying to hide from me.

          Against my TDR request no - less amount have been refunded. Entire Rs.1455.00 should have been refunded but only Rs.480.00 has been refunded.

          According to the new TDR rules 100% of the amount had to be refunded as the train was late by more than 3 hours and passenger has not traveled. The train was late by more than 3 hours that day.

          We travelled from lalkuan to new delhi on 29th june 2014 in train number 02039/LKU NDLS AC SPL with PNR number [protected]. we had e-ticket which was partially confirmed i.e. confirmed for 2 and waiting for 2. As in waiting passesngers are not allowed to travel in e-tickect, only 2 o[censored]s with confirmed seats travelled. On boarding we requested TC for a non travel certificate for other 2 members he denied and said that they do not have any such certificate and he will not be able to provide us anything. We requested him number of times on which he said that the money will automatically be refunded and they do not provide with any certificate. We called IRCTC and reported the matter as we have faced this issue earlier also and they said they will take it further to indian railways, But On 4th we received a TDR repudiate mail. What can one do when TC himself is not providing with the certificate and bluntly refuses on demanding non travel certificate for waitlist passengers. Please help.

          I am Prakash Rasal regular customer of IRCTC, I Have booked my session ticket on 11 September 2014, as per IRCTC ticket will delivered within 36hrs. and my session ticket is valid form 15 September 2014 (I have attached the screen shot of ticket below) I have called overnight courier services on [protected] they confirm my address and said we are close on every saturday and sunday (13-14 September 2014) I told i have booked ticket on 11 September 2014 they said me we got late ticket from IRCTC today (Monday 15 Sept 2014) from IRCTC but overnight courier web site shows status In-Transit : Out For Delivery at MUMBAI Saturday, September 13, 2014, (Screen shot attached) overnight courier told me you will get ticket today or tomorrow (15 or 16 Sept 2014) but the have not delivered monday I have called 2-3 times to overnight courier finally i have taken 2days windows ticket Virar to Churchagate and 17 September I have booked the new session ticket from windows.

          Today date 19 September 2014 courier person come my door 8:30am to delivered the session ticket i have not accepted ticket I told him please return this ticket IRCTC.


          What is the my loss?

          1) I have paid Rs. 865 and i can't get ticket on time,
          2) 2 Days Virar to Churchgate ticket purchased with log Q
          3) After waiting 5 days I have purchased new session ticket

          What I need?

              TDR status: TDR filled on 30.05.2011. Case rejected on 06.10.2011.
              Sending email to [protected]@irctc.co.in on 15.10.2011 and case reopened on 20.10.2011.
              But still I am not getting any refund, and not yet received any reply from IRCTC. At least one ticket refund should be made by IRCTC. Because of 2nd ticket is in waiting status and passenger not traveled.

              Case details:

              Refer PNR NO. [protected] booked on 17.05.2011, Train no. 12905, from Porbandar (PBR) to Howrah (HWH). Boarding from Ahmedabad Stn (ADI) to Howrah (HWH).

              Ticket status after chart preparation:

              1. Passenger No 1. - RAC
              2. Passenger No 2 - Waiting

              I had booked the subject tickets for me and my wife on 17/05/11 as waiting status WL3 & WL4. After chart prepared only one was confirmed, the status comes for me its RAC and for my wife its Waiting.

              Since both the ticket was not confirmed, we had cancelled the journey. Because its not possible to going with one RAC seat for 2person for 40hours (2087km) journey and we have a small child of 1.5years also.

              Still that we are going to station for any chance of availability, the train comes on 00:30at night where as schedule time is 15:40pm on afternoon.

              Requested to the running TT if any seat available but no seat available and we are bound to cancel the journey.
              As I know, for RAC ticket some % can be returned but for Waitlisted ticket 100% should be refund.

              This is a real case, and looking forward for your kind consideration.

                I have an IRCTC account which is locked second time.
                When i tried to reset the password through forget password link, it asks User id, question and Answer. I provided all the details and it throws an error "Answer is Incorrect". This happend second time and both the times i tried to login through the actual password.
                I waited for a week and there was no response from IRCTC customer care. I called them up on 24 Hrs. Customer Support at[protected] and it took about 12 calls to make them understand about the issue. When ever i called up the customer support the person attnding the call will redirect me to someone else after listening to my detail and again i need to explain whole story, inshort that was waste of time and money.
                I sent an email at [protected]@irctc.co.in also submit at http://www.consumercourt.in/railways/14030-irctc-login.html and got an automated email as Ticket Confirmation for the request.
                IRCTC should hire service and satisfaction oriented support executives so that it a common man has no pain of wasting time and money.

                  recently online booking rules for trains are changed and now online booking can be done in case of tatkal before only 24 hrs. Now in this case whenever i try to do booking in tatkal, i am not able to book my ticket and shows the error and i am logout from site automatically. where authorized agents and vendor are tickets in tatkal also and i have to book my tickets through agents n vendors which i have to pay extra money there. I don't know why IRCTC site is this much low and showing error.

                      Today (14/02/2012) I have done an online transaction to purchase a ticket on all hw Exp from jaipur Jn to haridwar on 27/02/2012 for katori devi and saroj l. Unfortunately after the payment was made through sbbj payment gateway, the error, "REDIRECT=https://www.irctc.co.in/cgi-bin/bv60.dll/irctc/booking/bankrespon... came up without giving me the confirmation of the payment and neither the ticket is generated.

                      This is really embarrasing situation and IRCTC is expected to help me at the earliest with the ticket if the payment is already confirmed at their end. If not refund the same amount.

As per the ticket Cancellation info displayed above My Credit Card Account should have been Credited by 909 + 606 Amount Which till now is not been credited. Pls guide me as to when it will be credited. I Know that IRCTC.co.in is a good website but this time sorry to say the expereince was not good. Pls look into the matter urgently. Waiting for your Early response regarding this matter. I am unaware of to whom should I escalate this matter to get the refund. All the options that are available on the website I have tried out and when I got finally got tired I thought that You Will finally help me out in getting my refund as early as possible.

I tried to book a ticket on very first day as soon as the reservation time was up and within 5 hours the status was RAC! This shows that the train has a heavy rush for it. This is the only train that directly connects the 5th largest city of India namely Hyderabad with 7th largest city of India Ahmedabad. Please make this train a daily train. Jai Hind!

                                    I am traveling from Vasai road to secunderabad and there AC is not working as required. I complained many time to solve the problem but no one takes the responsibility to solve the problem. He avoided me. Kindly let me know this kind services you are providing to the passenger.

                                    Request you to please try to provide the better services for passenger.

                                        hello, i am really upset and its a pain to book a ticket on the www.irctc.co.in as you need to take one hour to book one ticket and its also not sure if it will book you ticket or not because sometimes the money will be deducted from your account and the ticket will be not ready. why don't you guys can handle the traffic of the beginning one hour when you need to book tatkal tickets as you there are so many people trying to book the tickets as well as agents. For booking the ticket this website is always slow and it doesn't work properly. that's it.
