Respected sir my lenovo laptop is getting shut down (crash)abruptly while doing any work like reading, listening songs.programmedownloading, talking on skype etc (anytime).i went to your service centre at RT resource nirala nagar and at parivertan chauk, in lko.and it hads been formated completely at both places 3 times.even then my problem is same.i m not getting any proper response.only 6 months has been crossed from date of its purchasing.now i want a replacement of this with the new one.what should i do now.how the problem can be solved as early as possible. plz tell.

Lenovo Laptop — dot on monitor of laptop

Dear Sir,
this is inform you that i have puchased a loptop of Y410 series
and have regsitered a complaint with Lenovo case id is-[protected] for having a white spot on the monitor.
Now the irony is that the service staff is stating that we cannot support monitor change for a dot on 1 pixel we can only go for some thing greater than 7 pixels.
Now Imagine that i just keep on waiting for 7 pixels dot to appear on the screen and if by that time warranty expires than who will pay for this.Please see if some thing could be done on this

Lenovo Laptop — UNDUE DELAY IN REPAIR

I bought a lenovo laptop in the last week of Sep 2008. It developed some complaints during first week of Nov 2008 and stopped working. I handed over the laptop to the dealer for further handing over to the service centre at Kottayam, Kerala. They registered a complaint and handed over to the service centre on 10 Nov 2008. I have not received any information till to-day (27 Nov 2008) either from the dealer or from the serice centre. I wounder how much time they take to repair a laptop in this modern age. Even yesterday I contacted the service centre but there is no progress.

Lenovo — Monitor service

We have purchases one Lenevo system system working find but Monitor is no display.

So pls provide Service center address and contact no that repair own Monitor.
on my lenevo laptop model y410 there is green colour appears on LCD screen.

    This complaint is in regard to the Lenovo's promotion scheme. I bought one Lenovo 3000 N200 Series Laptop S No. L3AP572, P N 44U6714 & PRODUCT ID L3AP572 on 15 Feb 2008, from Creative Computers, Dehradun India. at that time i was told by the dealer that company has a special offer on this product which is a set of Philips Speaker Set but dealer was not aware as to how the customer would get those speakers from lenovo, so he told me to contact lenovo directly, i called lenovo the very next day but unfortunately it was technical help line i inquired abt the promotion with that fellow he was not aware so he gave me another no. which was [protected] 3353 & [protected], i've been chasing this no since then & what i heard all the time was background music while waiting for some one to pick my call my ordeal doesn't end there, I called Lenovo on 15 March 08 i got connect to one of the call centre agent Mr. Anant, i explained him my concern & you won't believe i've been left with one blunt & rude answer that "sorry Mr Arora the offer is close & we can't help you with this " when i insisted to speak with some senior person that fellow has transferred the call to one of his colleague sitting next to him her name is Beena she has introduced herself as anant's supervisor, she was not at all interested in talking to me, she said Look Mr Arora, i can't help you with this and if you want to complaint then please go ahead and do it" and she went ahead and told me that she would not be able to speak with me anymore and she hung up, now, i would like to ask one question, is that really a very big matter that can't be solve at customer care centre?? if promotion date is over it's doesn't mean that i'm not entitled to get the benefits, because I’ve purchase the product during the promotion period and i did make a call to lenovo & i've sent them a copy of my mobile bill mentioning the call date & duration alongwith the laptop bill.

    I even called Lenovo's B'lore no. 3 times 18 & 19 march 08 every time a lady receptionist picks up the phone i ask her abt the status of my email she said that she'll call me after confirming but she never call. On 26 march again I sent an email asking for the status & mark a cc to core.nic.in but Lenovo dosn't seem to bother. Infact I’ve sent a copy to core.nic.in but even they didn’t respond.

    Now my last hope is consumercomplaint.com may be you could help me out to sort out that matter, I would like you to intervene and take up this issue n let Lenovo know that they have to honor their promise.

    I've been making STD calls during day time sending them emails, wasting my time n resources. I also feel cheated because it was told to me that i would also get one Phillips speaker sets that’s why I prefer Lenovo otherwise i would have bought some other brand, i mean they are all same... i would also request you to please penalize Lenovo and make them pay some fine.

      I purchased a Laptop of LENOVO in FEB 2008. I was assured a TATA SKY CONNECTION.
      I apllied for it with Rs. 750 draft . I did not recieve any confirmation . Even after 15 days. I called these people. For complete 1 month there was no response . i.e nobody picked the phone. Finally I could talk to an Executive at Channel Technologies, Noida. He said that
      CHANNEL TECHNOLOGIES HAS MANY PENDING APLLICATIONS. THERE IS NO APPROVAL FROM LENOVO TO DISPATCH THE GIFTS. PLEASE WAIT WITH PATIENCE . AS SOON WE RECIEVE DISPATCH ORDER WE WILL SEND THE GIFTS.

      I ASKED FOR ANY TENTATIVE PERIOD TILL WHEN I CAN EXPECT MY GIFT. AND REPLY WAS
      WE ARE NOT SURE.

      BUT ONE THINK I COULD MAKE OUT, THAT THEY HAVE THOUGHT WE CUSTOMERS ARE BIGGEST FOOLISH THEY HAVE EVER MET.

      purchased a lenovo y[protected]q model bearing serial numbr-ABQ0002905 three months back.the problem which am facing since last two mnths is that my DVD rom driver automatically gets disappeared after my notebook starts with a sudden damp..after which my machine works fine widout a dvd rom driver..shutting down or rebooting sometime solves the problem bt am fed off this thng..the customer care centre having an XCUSe that its "nt a hardware problem" i did everythn keepin in view cud be done for the posible software problem..i e formatting, , recovery etc..plz help me am really annoyed

      Lenovo Laptop — EXTENDED WARRANTY

      I received a call from Mr Ali to extend wrranty of my Lenovo laptop on 28.08.2009.I was out of station. I had been receiving more than 10 calls daily till 10th sept 09 .on 10.09.2009 i paid Rs 4500/ to Mr P Chaturvedi thereafter no call from Mr Ali or anyone else.I started calling for certificate of warranty ,but no proper reply from Aforeserve.On 20.10.2009 received a sticker to send to Bangalore office of Aforeserve,i send immediately. Till today no certificate of warranty is received.
      Neither Mr Ali nor Mr P Chaturvedi in position to give certificate of warranty.
      I feel Lenovo is involved in fraud with aforeserve.

        I purchased a Lenovo brand new 3000 N100 Laptop in November 2006. Product ID: 0768A35
        In Jan 2008, one day the battery of my laptop suddenly konded off. Before it stopped working completely it used to gie me about 2.5 hours of backup. As the warranty was only for 1 year, so nobody at Lenovo (Call Center and all serice stations) is actually listening. They only have one standard statement, "If it is out of Warranty, You have to buy a new battery costing Rs. 6, 800/-)
        In few of the forums I saw that lots of customers had similar complaint with this series of Lenoo Laptops. I doubt like others if they have pre-programmed that the battery will stop working after the warranty of 1 year gets expired.
        Obviously Lenovo does not sell laptops saying that the Battery will not last for even 2 years. It is not about Warranty not actie, but the real issue is the product has to function properly even after warranty. Nobody would buy a laptop if we need to invest on battery every 14-16 months.

        Im trying if someone can help. If nothing works I may even File a Lawsuit against Lenovo under Consumer Court.

        I have also encountered the similar problem.

        The battery does not charge when connected to the system with the AC adapter. The system will only function with the AC adapter attached. The system will not function on battery alone.

        It was working fine till yesterday and suddenly today morning when I switched on my Laptop it was not getting ON on Battery, then I checked with the Adapter and it started working fine but after charging it for 2-3 hrs. when I removed the Adapter then the system is OFF. And I got 0 sec. I tried charging the battery 2-3 times but failed to do so.

        I have a feeling that Lenovo might have programmed this problem while manufacturing the Laptop.

        I had recommended for Lenovo to many of my friends and collogue, but I am getting a feeling that I have cheated them.

        Now I think we should form a group of consumers like us and then together we can call Lenovo / IBM to the Consumer court.

        My problem with this is very similar. Bought it on 1st Jan 2007. It was working fine initially. From Begning of 2008 battery works for only 20 mins. After the battry power goes below 66% it will immediately show critical battery. Now in mid may 2008 one fine day I found the battery is not charging at all. Then the battery light is off and if I remove it from the AC power supply the laptop gets switched off. Same answer from the service centers. They are telling its max life is around one year.

        I think these products are of dubious quality.

        I have exactly the same problem with my Lenovo N100 just stopped charging or running on battery. This I purchased Nov 06 and i replaced around 1 year back. now its not working.
        I bought the same system in UK. In the 11th month, the battery got busted. Fortunately, I had the warranty and got it replaced. Unfortunately, the replaced battery is now dead with almost a year after the replacement. I am out of any kind of warranty now. Also, the laptop gets heated very fast. I believe this issue with almost every laptop. But I have to keep ventilation unblocked for a free air flow. However, the ventilation is on the whole bottom base. So, I cannot keep the laptop on top of table, or any kind of it.

        I have decided not to buy any more Lenovo's in my life. May be its would not be a right decision.. but I amn't going that way.

My warranty expired 3 months ago, this is very irritating, i have cared for laptop and battery very well, never exhausted the battery to 0%.

        when i talked to lenovo care, they said that battery is dead and it will have to be replaced, they quoted the battery price at 5500 Rs. This is very frustating that the battery didnt last ecen for 15 months. Even more frustating is that this is very common with lenovo laptops as this is what i am experiencing after searching on internet and this forum.

        lenovo has given extende warranty of 6 months (total 18 months) for this specific issue with lenovo batteries, get in touch with the lenovo care and get ur batteries replaced free of cost, my complaint has been approved and they are going to replace my battery within 3 working days:-)

        On July 17, 2008, Lenovo rep, Mr. Ranjan, calls me and gives me the spiel that since it was out of warranty, we are not entitled to a new battery for my Lenovo 3000 N 100 laptop. Ever since we bought this laptop in Nov, 2006 for about $ 800 in Houston, the battery never really worked. Laptop had practically zero charge within a month of our purchase. I explained this to Ranjan and he, in his artful style, said since the battery is out of warranty, he will not be able to replace it. I said the battery was a piece of crap right from the get go.

        Lenovo manufactured a defective battery from all the complaints that I have read on the Internet. If hundreds of them complain, its a defect. A responsible company will own upto their mistakes and rectify them and not give their customers a run around. If it was an automobile and if they had manufactured a defective part resulting in a crash, one of them would have gone to jail or paid top dollar to their victims. Lenovo isnt an automobile, thank God! their officials are ignoring the miseries of all the consumers who were unlucky enough to buy this piece of junk. Can anyone help?

        Guys, lenovo has replaced my battery free of cost, my warranty had expired in march 2008, but for this specific issue...they have extended warranty of 6 months on battery, get in touch with lenovo customer care and ask them for replacement. But you need to validate your claim with the purchase proof (bill/invoice) of your laptop.

        for india email them on this address : [protected]@in.ibm.com or call on this no. +[protected], tell them about the extended warranty of 6 months (not all of them know about this and may tell that only 1 year warranty is given).
        M/s lenovo has cheated us, their battary works for only one year . As one year of warranty finishes it start giving problems.
        M/s lenovo must do replacement of faulty battaries to satisfy the custmers
        I bought the same Lenovo 3000 N 100 from UK. The battery died in 9 months. Since the warranty was there, I got it replaced free of cost, but with the same kind of battery again.         I'm another of the sufferers of Lenovo 3000 N100 laptops. I had purchased it in Jan 07 and suddenly in June 08 the battery went dead..the battery life still showed as 65 % charged but the moment i pulled out the AC cord the laptop went dead..left with no choice i ws using my laptop on AC and after a couple of months it started going off all of a sudden..now even with the AC power on the laptop does'nt start..its very frustrating..i've already started informing people about Lenovo products and personally feel companies like these should not be allowed to operate...

        All of a sudden, it just went off and did not get charged.
        In the morning it was giving over 2 hours back up.
        Lot of my urgent work suffered.

        I am using a lenovo 3000 N100 model of laptop. My laptop is 1 and half year old. I called to customer care they told battery to be replaced. What we can do now? I think IBM people really cheating us.

        I bought my lenovo 3000 N100 0768 GZQ laptop in Apr 2007 and in sep 2007 it got busted. Now for 2 months I am working with only the plug in mode, without the battery. Please tell me how to resolve this issue and to get the battery replaced without cost from my side as I didnt even use the battery for 2 years.

        Same problem as everybody. I bought an N100 about 2 years ago, thinking that is as good as an IBM laptop, but man have I been disappointed with Lenovo. Build quality is NOT good and the battery never really did work - when the laptop was new I could get about an hour. Gradually is has gotten worse and worse till a month ago, where it just stopped charging. I have split the plastic case, thinking I could solder new batteries into it, but when I measured the voltage on the batteries thay actually worked, so I'm guessing is't the electronics that control the charge that has been badly designed.

        On top of this battery issue, Lenovo has disregarded all my attempts to communicate with them. I shall NEVER buy og recommend Lenovo to anyone - it is simply to crappy
        Absolutely I agree with all of you, I am also facing the same problem... I dont think even after changing the battery the problem will resolve..         Yes, I have purchased the Lenovo 3000 N100 model and rarely used it. Now it runs only with AC power. I was wrong considering Lenovo when people said, SONY and then Lenovo are the top laptops. We should buy the cheapest in the market and forget if something happens. However electronics gets cheaper day by day than buying accessories. Bloody battery is costing 150$ whereas we can buy a new one with 350$ in the thanks giving deals. What a poor IBM laptops. Pls spread this news around the world, lenovo should go bancruptacy.

        My battery is not working since aug 2008. I have complaint about it in chd and Ellora- hamirpur(H.P) but they are refusing to replace it and telling to buy a new battery.

        In oct. 2007, Battery had been replaced once when it was not working. I am experiencing the same problem now but unable to buy new one. I am not getting any kind of warranty about the battery.

        I have already spent a huge amount to buy it ( Rs 43, 000 /-)

        Suppose if i buy a new battery then it may damaged within 6 months again and again...
        Question: I am not satisfy with LENOVO who once sell laptop and after that dont care about their customer.
        Once the battery was replaced within warrany period and same get damaged within few months ...who will care ?
        Problem is in BATTERY. Lenovo must accept it.

        I want answer as soon as possible otherwise i will take help from consumercourt.

        Looks like this is the price we need to pay for trusting a 'third rate chinese manufacturer' with no business ethics...
        I tooo became a victim recently on the same issue. I recommeneded to my sister to go for IBM laptop for its quality. I thought the chinese goose lenovo will continue the IBM reputation. But they proved that they are chinese where there products are seldom quality good. Now the laptop goes off in 5mins. Its Lenovo N100.
        Now I was left in a guitly feeling that i misguided my sister to go for this crappy product. I should have recommended dell or HP.

        Hi i am also facing the same issue, I have a Lenovo 3000 N 100 768 series laptop and about two weeks ago my laptop was running on battery with 2.5 hrs backup and then it goes hibernate and when i switched on it again it was not working on battery and goes off suddenly without A/C power, i don't know how a battery could be dead in minutes without any faulty sign and any reduction in backup and even it is not suporting 2 seconds backup, you can not expect such low grade material in a world known Brand IBM/Lenovo laptop.

        My laptop is out of warranty and i barely use it at home only mostly on A/C Adaptor

        I would really appreciate if someone could help me figure out whats wrong with my battery.

        It appears dead because my laptop wont run on the battery. It wont even recognize the battery when its plugged in. Therefore I have to run it on external power supply.

        When I plug the battery in, it blinks “red light” 5 times and then stops blinking. What does this mean?

This information wasn't passed on to me when I had actually logged the complaint and instead was given a quote for purchase of new battery.         Same here.. Bought Lenovo 3000 N100 0768 laptop about 2 years ago (around Nov 2006). I actually got my laptop battery replaced when it was still under warranty (probably about a month left before warranty expired).

        Thought I was lucky enough to have it still under warranty when replaced. But then replacement battery died about a month ago. So both batteries that I got had the same problem.

        And now, warranty is expired. *Sigh* So I just run it plugged into AC. Anybody have ideas where to get a cheaper and better battery replacement?

        My sincere advice is to invest few more thousands...replace the battery, sell it out (get rid of Lenovo) and buy a good one..         I also have a similar complaint. My battery also suddenly stopped working just after 1 year. I kept using my laptop with AC power adapter, but today it also stopped working. Can I get it replaced too?
        Overall situation tells that the model is defective and company should take some serious measures to replace batteries with another model cause even if they provide with the replacement... it wont be working more than a year.
        Can anybody tell me how to claim for the replacement/compensation?

        Problem : 1. I had purchased the laptop on 24th August, 2007 and few days back laptop battery suddenly stopped working. It does not charge when connected to the system with the AC adapter. The system used to function only with the AC adapter attached. The system was not function on battery alone.
        2. Since yesterday the AC adapter also stopped working and machine doesn't start. I had got it checked from Service Center who told that both battery and AC adapter needs to be replaced.

        I agree 100% with all the above statements. Battery dead, ac adapter died also after 9 monthes from battery going dead. Machine will not stay on for more than 5 minutes if battery is in and running from AC power. No help from Lenovo. It figures.

        I've gone through exactly the same problems as most people here. I purchased my 3000N100 Notebook in October 2006 and within the warranty period the battery went dead. I had a battery replaced within warranty. The replaced battery worked for about a year and then, that also went dead. Ever since, I've been running it on A/C Power. Now, as a recent development, my computer suddenly shuts down while I'm working. It is extremely painful to use this laptop and I've realized what a waste of money it is!

        My lenovo 3000N100 battey has conked off in 16 months ( bought sep 07), and i have been asked to pay 6000/- for a replacement ( as it is past one year).

        Only now i realise that a lap top manintenance is not cheap at all.

        If we keep changing batteries like this every 16-18 months ( in some cases even lesser), then its high time the manufacturers clearly indicate a longer time line for battery life.( may be 5 years atleast)

        It is now being told by the service center that 14-16 month battery life is COMMON!!

        Guys in continuation to my previous article in this forum, I wanted to highlight that Lenovo guys replaced my battery after lots of follow up with [protected]@in.ibm.com in the month of Apr'08. However after 6-7 months same problem repeated. The battery initially used to work only for few minutes and finally stopped working at all. I had been following up with Lenovo guys since Nov'08 however they have only one statement to make "The battery can not be replaced as your notebook is not under Warranty and you will have to purchase a new battery". I am still trying to fight with them, however if they do not replace the battery, Im convinced to file a legal complaint against them.         I am also facing this problem.This is the second time I am facing this problem.Last year at this time, when my lappy was in warranty period, I replaced my battery.Now again I am facing this problem, with in an year.This is really disgrace on the part of Lenovo. Developing batteries of such poor life is fooling the consumers. I feel we need to make a legal move against the company and demand the compensation.

        I have got FRU 92P1186 battery.from vivek's post I came to know that there was a replacement programme for this battery type till Oct 1st 2008.I got issued this battery around same time and I still face same problem with in year. I feel Lenovo has did nothing on improving the battery life.I still have to talk to the Lenovo dealers about my case and try for a replacement.
        I had the same problem. Company says they extended the battery warranty 6 monts more making total of 18 month but how many custumers were informed of it. At the time of sale of laptop, company takes the contact information of the customers but never botherd of informing about their faulty product. And now some lonovo people use to say that batteries are like tyres. Its life depends on use.. But friends, just think that why only lenovo batteries goes off so early, why not any other brand batteries.
        Even after knowing the fact, company is trying to fool their customs.

        I was not aware of extend 6 monts warranty, neither the dealer was aware of it. I purchased my first battery in Rs 6800, just in 14 months... and again after 15 months..the battery died. So its like spending Rs 6800 after every 15-16 months...so that company gets some more out of their customers pocket...

        I am an electronic hobbiest, so i opened the battery pack and it was shocking that all the 6 cells inside the pack were fine. Problem was with the protection circuit board. It stopped woking, whatever may be the reason. Then i enquired the thing with some more lenovo users... and found that some of them went with compatible battery pack. And friends, these unbranded battery packs are working very fine and even after 2 years, they dont give any problem.

        I just wanted to suggest every lenovo customer not to buy any lenovo product... as our experience force us to conclude that lenovo has a strategy to get the money out of the pocket of customers, even after selling the product. And for our laptops battery... go for compatible battery packs.. no lenovo batteries again... because lenovo is not going to listen to anyone.. if they are replacing any battery, the new one has the same issue bundled with it. So it not the solution.

        What we can do one more thing that we take some of our time out and communicate with each other and together we can file case in the consumer court. Atleast this kind of fraud act should be stopped.

        I have faced the same problems with my laptop, one fine morning the laptop battery started discharging really fast and from yesterday it has stopped working, and i too was not aware of the 18 months extended warranty
        I bought this one from bangalore last year for my sister n it worked nicely. This feb when i was back home i was using it n it felt like working with desktop always need power cabal to be attached or else it will power off after couple of minute. Since she is noob regarding computer stuff so no complain but i feel bad for gifting her this model.
        I bought lenova 300 N100 series and facing the same issue like you guys are facing. can anyone give more information on compatible battery. I don't want to by lenova battery again.
        Yesterday I lost my second battery too of lenovo 3000 N100, in 2007, July I got my first battery replaced ... now again my replaced battery got dead...

        i have also an 3000 n100, pro id 0768-04u,
        i got my laptop on oct'07 and the battery last 6 mth, i called up the cc and they told me the battery guarantee is counted from its manufactured date . That means my guarantee wasted 6 mth as i bought after 6mth its manufacture date.
        Since then i have been using on AC adapter, i found even my friend battery is also dead

        I found on their forum that its not a battery problem but b'coz of an inbuilt faulty ic (bq80201)

        the circuit has to be replaced, i don't know how OR else whatever battery you replaced it will have the same problem.

          I am Rajiv Gupta. My friend had purchased one lenovo laptop from ATLANTA, U.S on 22/09/2007. My lenovo laptop S/N is EB06655888 and Model Name is 7757. Now, this laptop is not working due to some problem. I had raised one complaint in INDIA with case ID i.e. Complaint no. [protected]. I am not getting positive response from service center situated in Pune India. When contacted they told me they don't have the last 3 digits of my lenovo laptop's model no. Ex. 33Q, 52A. That's why they are unable to give service. More over when I contacted the lenovo call center at their toll free number i.e.[protected]. They said your laptop is not having international warranty. I asked then but you guys only told me that your system is under international warranty till Dec.2008. But they didn't answer back.
          Finally service center person are asking me to collect my Laptop from their service center.

          Now my stand is what's the use of international warranty if they are refusing to provide me service for my laptop in India.

          I have all the receipts with me except International warranty card as company don't give any card as they track the warranty by laptop serial no. I don't know whom to contact but I am sure if you people take up my request forward I surely get positive response from them. Please find the below details of Laptop

          I have got a lenovo laptop in india, now i am in UK, within 2 months my laptops bluetooth stops working. then i called lenovo uk call center then they replied me to send ur laptop to scotland (and company is not going to bear courier charges which is higher than the bluetooth dongle price.) and it will take 3 or more weeks for repairing . this company do not have any replacement policy i[censored]r systems is not working in warranty period.
          I have lots of examples of other companies laptops they are directly replacing or supporting very nicely.
          So if you are intrested in buying a laptop never think about lenovo. sony and compaq is best option.
          If you will talk with lenovo people after buying a product then you realise these people just want to sell their products the dont care care about the customer satisfaction.

          I have purchased Lenevo 62Q model from a reputed computer shop at Kolkata. After using for 4 months error free, my bitter experience with Lenovo begins. Firstly, the webcam stops functioning. Bluetooth took the same direction. Less to speak of DVD combo support as its always create noise.

          After the complaint was lodged & the laptop was submitted for proper repair to the Service Centre, it had already consumed nearly two weeks and still going on. What a poor hardware support the company provides to their valued customer.?????????

          I would request the top officials [with proper technical knowledge] to interfere into the hardware support. The Authorised Service Center does not even know how to maintain sound relationship with the laptop owners, who had purchased their high-end products and are at loss while they have no fault of their own.

          It seems very poor quality hardisk has been supplied by IBM. I could able to manage to replace hard disk with Local Computer service attendant with an additional cost of 105 GBP (65 GBP Hard drive+ 40 GBP service charges)

          31/07/2008:- I received a promotional call from Lenovo Company to buy Lenovo IdeaPad and was referred to the authorized dealer giving the details of the dealer. Highlighting the 3 years of Warranty service if I buy the product today.
          I purchased a Notebook (Laptop) of Y510 series Lenovo IdeaPad Model 7758 Sr. No. ABQ0049817 ME 15799 laptop because of 3 years warranty service.
          My LAPTOP Sr. No. and my all correspondence details, contact no. were registered there online in the showroom of the Dealer to avail the said Warranty of 3 years. I confirmed there to do anything else; they replied NO NEED TO DO anything now.
          I received an e-mail for registration for the 3 years warranty Lenovo with a reference no. RED[protected] a warranty upgrade from 1/1 to 3/3**.
          In December, 2009 I noticed one day my laptop has got defect in its bottom and hinges near LCD Panel. It creates gap during I open the top. Now its increasing day by day because no body is ready to listen my grievance. Nobody is helping me out in this situation. Neither from Lenovo nor the Dealer they simply refused to do the necessary repair and give me the said warranty as committed by the company while purchasing.

          21/12/2009: I brought the defect in dealer's notice. They took my laptop for necessary repair or service. After 1 or 2 days they just refuse to do anything and they were suggesting me do this and that. I just faded up with the dealer and his behavior. Inward Receipt of Dealer i have kept to file the case against company.

          I called the toll free no. of Lenovo Customer Care they registered my case informing me that if I have that email in which upgraded warranty information reference no. was mailed to me. Then I will get the warranty service.

          24/12/2009 to till today: I have been calling and contacting the Lenovo through phone calls and e-mails and telling them the facts they were just replying we are working on your case finally they just refused to give me said warranty or replace my defect laptop. I am mailing them continuously but there is no response from their side.
          I don't where to go and where to replace this defective Laptop. I really had never imagined that such a big bran will make the people fool in such a way.

          This is personal suggestion for all the people whoever reading this blog Please never go for Lenovo IdeaPad or any kind computer accessories of Lenovo.

          Relief against my complaint: If company ever think to give me the relief agains my grievance. Then kindly inspect this case and kindly Replace my Laptop/Notebook/ Ideapad, as I had purchased the latest model Notebook at that time so I want either the same model or latest model of this time. And a punishment to Lenovo that such a big brand should not behave like this to the customer. They should respect the customer and customer’s emotions. As they have to ultimately sell the products to the customers.

          My name is rahul kumar.i had purchase a lenovo leptop Y410 and seriel no. is EB08979981 and i had extended the warranty for 1 year.curently my laptop is under warranty and there is a problem in lcd of this machine and i had registered the case in customer care(case i.d [protected]) and visited the service centre and they are saying that your approval for replacement of LCD is cancelled by the concerned department.After that i had sent 5 mail to the mail i.d of customer care that my laptop is not physically damaged.           Lenovo/laptop — it's not switched on

          my laptop is not switch on . when i am trying to login ,some times the lights are brighting but display is not working....
          I Mrs. Laxmi Patel had purchased a lenovo laptop from Reliance Digital, Road No. 12, Banjara Hills on dated 07/06/2011, there was an offer with the lenovo laptop for TATA photon device with with one month free net facilities, so for availing the free offer i went to TATA photon center. from the TATA facilities i received the TATA Photon device by paying Rs. 750/-, the personnel told that the net shall be activated within 24hours. on non activation till 12/06/2011 i again went to TATA Photon agency they told that on scanning the bar code of the lenovo laptop, a message is appearing that "a separate order has already been placed against this product".
          I felt as if i have been cheated as after rigrous pursuasion no one is actually coming with the solution. kindly resolve the matter at the earliest.
          I AM USER OF LENOVO Z560.NOW I AM HAVING PROBLEMS TO SEND ITEMS VIA IN BUILD BLUETOOTH. IT DOES NOT SHOW MENU IN RIGHT CLICK SEND TO MENU.

            I purchased this LENOVO 7761 3AQ on 21st apr 2007, when i press the ONE BUTTON RECOVERY key, a faulty Vista Operating System is loaded. I have mailed/called up the customer care for Lenovo, but all in vain...the warrany perion will be expiring next week, please help me get this problem resolved.

              I purchased lenovo 3000 series Y410 54q, 7757 and Iam sorry to say that this is the worst decision I have ever taken i was told that there is something like dolby home theater but Ifeel that the voice is not even audible to me.who is sitting next to it and my friends who have laptop of lower configuration play song on their laptop and tease me and they laugh at me and my decision I feel as if i have realy been befooled by lenovo..
              I really want to thank lenovo for providing me such a high configuration and great sub woofer and sound system...
              I want to have a clear cut answer from lenovo that are they going to change it and provide a solution to my trouble or not...

              i purchased lenovo y-series y410 that is 63Q. OS was not properly installed. the dealer is not able to solve the problem so what he has done is, he has just removed windows vista and pilot copy windows xp loaded. but DVD writer is working and shuttle keys are not wrking. What is your answer for this complaint.               I am also in a great grief that I have purchased Lenovo Y410 with such uselesss speakers.If I ever get an oppurtunity to prevent and stop someone to purchase a lenovo product I am always there. And stop these nasty advertizing of the dolby home theater, it is the worst speaker I have ever seen in my life.

              Yea, sound sucks! can't hear much, can't appreciate watching anything straight from the laptop without any external speaker or headphones attached.

              I thought it would help to update drivers, but I think it's beyond drivers, it's the internal hardware speakers, I have not even heard the so called subwoofer, yea I saw it at the bottom of the laptop, but damn, it never woofed!

              And it says on the sticker "Outstanding surround sound with subwoofer for better multimedia experience" My phone has better multimedia experience!!
              Y410 Lenovo speakers really sucks and there is no sound from woofers. They say its a Dolby Home Theater and there is a label embedded on it. I think lenovo doesnt know what dolby sound really is. Dolby output can only work if there is a 5.1 channel speaker minimum else 2 speakers with 1 woofer considered a stereo type only. My old Dell gives better sound than Y410. Also 1 GB memory is not sufficient for Win Vista and the processing speed is also less. Dont know why lenovo released this package with this config which is of no use to home users.

              y 410 is the one of the worst worst product i have ever bought in my life and i will never be buying a lenovo product from now and it has worst sound actually it can be said that there are no speakers in the laptop at all, and it has the worst DVD drive reads nothing and i hav already got it changed 3 times under warranty in 1 and a half year period and still it is not working, there is 1 gb ram which is un sufficient for vista and i[censored] install xp then there are no proper drivers for it.

              bought a Y410, after a month, the dvd not working.
              only able to read cd but not dvd. worst product ever,

              Looks like I had similar problem as Adam. Lenovo service in Malaysia is not good at all. Called their service center and promised a called back which never happen. Really disappointing on my purchase of the Lenovo Y410 laptop. I will not recommend this brand to anyone friends I know except to enemies.
              We all have the same problem in our Lenovo Y410, at first, i heard a very little sound, then i had to put headset or usb speaker to hear it...but now there is no sounds at all...i need to reprogram but unfortunately after saving all my document, my cd writer did'nt work also...OMG . I really don't know now what to do...

                I had purchase my Lenevo Y-500 Leptop at the month of october-2007, from your retailer Kishna Computers Bijay Nagar, Distt- Bilwara, Rajasthan .

                Form the beginning I faced the some soft were problem related with Window Wista Operating system like: Installation of AutoCAD, Some Graphics Card related problem, installation in Flash, Nikia PC suit etc. Some problem is rectify by retailer but mostly I faced AutoCAD related problems.
                Now before one I have a problem of DVD Writer means I could not able to write any CD or DVD, so that during one month (09.03.2008)my laptop sent to near Lenevo Trouble Shooter, Jaipur. Till now i could not get my laptop back. I also make a call to Jaipur to know current status of my laptop but I could not get any information also fece a bad behavior form them.

                I requested to you please may take action to rectify my problem.
                and Also give some service pack for Window Vista So that i can rectify software problem.

                This is Rahul from hyderabad. I purchased Lenovo L 192 (19 inches LCD Desktop) one year back. I lost Monitor Base (Means Desk to base - with which we stand LCD) while shfting my House. It has been more than 10 months and I am continuously trying to get that LCD Base. I contacted Pune branch, hyderabad all branches & also head office.

                But Nobody helped me in this regard. They are saying that, L 192 model has been discontinued.

                I have a lenovo k5 plus mobile. issue with this phone is that its ringtone volume automatically decreases to the lowest volume..even ringtone volume slider is full in settings to worst issue lenovo should provide an update to resolve this issue..

                    I have bought the Lenovo Lapto Y-410 in mid March from Vishal Mega Mart. At that particular time the Representative had promised me that I will get a Bag from Lenovo. They had give me one URL that is not accessible on my side but when I get back to them they had give me number of Mr. Sandeep (# [protected])who is working with lenovo sales department. He have given me the URL again but it is also not working, so he had told me that he will do something on his end, but after this conversation next day he is busy with year end meetings. I want to avail this promotion becuase I am eligible for this coz I have bought my laptop mid of March.

                      bought a lenovo Notebook(3000 N100 Series) - 076885Q
                      from New Delhi in Jan 2007, However the product was below my expectations
                      as this Notebook was not performing well, I had a number of problems in this, The battery of this Notebook was faulted in the month of October 2007
                      and when i placed a complaint in New Delhi Service center I was told that there is no warranty for the battery, and after few weeks the sound system of the same
                      was not available thru the speakers and I had to use Headphones If I need to hear from the Laptop
                      I had to rush down to Netherlands in Urgency in December 2007 And I did not buy the battery and neither I could get the sound system of TP repaired

                      I am using lenovo laptop with windows vista with C2D processor and 2 GB RAM for last 1 year and i found that its performance is not to the expctation compare to my another HP Centrino. Also the battery backup is hardly an hour. To the surprize it crashed 3 times in a year and I had to perform recovery to get it back working. As i am a computer savy i could troubleshoot the issue however i am disappointed about the performance. If some one knows the cust care center in pune please let me know as i am new to this place. please provide me the phone nos as i need to buy extended warrenty.

                      Lenovo — laptop with defective DVD ram

                      I have a LENOVO 3000 notepad which had a defective DVD ram at the time of purchase. I could able to detect it with in few days and send it to the service centre. They claimed that they had replaced it. It started to malfunction again in 5-6 months. I send it to them after 11 months and gain they changed it (though I did not feel).
                      Now It is not functioning at all and it is just 5 months from the last replacement.
                      If you go through the LENOVO site, you will surprisingly see that their service & supports engineers are confecting that they provide laptop with defective DVD rom/ram. They suggest to buy us external one to solve our continuous problem with this drive.
                      How a company like IBM can allow all these to be done? Is not their responsibility to stop that kind of cheating under their Brand Heading?
                      i also use lenovo 3000 series laptop and I also hav problem with its dvd ram...it does not detect some cd's and dvd's and also problem while writing the cd or dvd...
                      one more problem that i encountered recently is that it restarts suddenly while running multiple applications...sometimes after i push power button it gets restarted...

                          I had purchased the desktop from lennova dealer (Digital Solutions, Laxmi Nagar, Delhi) on 01/02/2008 and from the very next day the problem started. The computer shut down and restart automatically. I requested the dealer to check the problem and he send the guy who was not trained to look into this problem . After complaining again he again sent the guy who was not aware of the problem. Ours is a tours and travel company and while making a booking computer shut down and restart automatically due to which we have lost many of our datas, It is a bad experience from such a big company who does have dealers who look into the problem of their customer.

                          Sir,
                          I had made a complainant regarding my Lenovo desktop purchased from M/s Digital Solutions (Laxmi Nagar Delhi) on 01/02/2008 and from the next day of purchase, there was problem of automatic restarting of desktop while doing the work on the desktop. It is further stated that Lenovo service engineer had visited our office and also check the desktop and found that the retailer M/s digital solution had installed duplicate RAM of 512 MB manufactured by other company which is not supporting the Lenovo installed 512 MB RAM due to which the desktop automatically shut down and restart.

                          The retailer M/s Digital Solution had charged for Lenovo 512 RAM to upgrade the desktop RAM from 512 to 1 GB as the Window Vista is working slow on 512 RAM and advice the undersign to upgrade the RAM to 1 GB but he installed another company’s RAM which was causing the above said problem. Now the M/s Digital Solution is not listening to my problem and also did not want to replace the Desktop nor refund the amount and neither Lenovo is also not taking any action against the M/s Digital Solution nor replacing the Desktop. In such circumstances, I have no choice but to take legal action against the M/s Digital Solution and also against the Lenovo.

                                I had purchased lenovo laptop on 22/jan/2008..with in one year i had replaced cd writter 4 times.. it is not working properly. not more than one month it works after replacement...

                                defently there is a problem in combo drive of lenovo Y410 series. I have purchased laptop in november 2007 and after 3 months combo drive stopped reading cds and dvds. I lodged complaint 2 months later and got it changed without any cost by lenovo. but again changed combo drive stopped reading disks after 3 months this time i missed to lodge a complaint within warrenty period so I have to suffer. Really its a under quality product. Now I want get it change but it has no point to pay lenovo for that as they are not using good quality components. can anybody suggest compatible combo drive for the same.

I am calling these people at channel technologies since last 3 months. because now i have thought to file a case against them in consumer forum. JUST THINK IF THEY HAVE 1000 apllications pending with draft of Rs. 750 pending . it means they are misusing customers money since last 3 months . Amount can be anything. Rs 7, 50, 000.00 is just for an instance.

                                      I had purchase my Lenevo Y-500 Leptop at the month of october-2007, from your retailer Kishna Computers Bijay Nagar, Distt- Bilwara, Rajasthan .

                                      Form the beginning I faced the some soft were problem related with Window Wista Operating system like: Installation of AutoCAD, Some Graphics Card related problem, installation in Flash, Nikia PC suit etc. Some problem is rectify by retailer but mostly I faced AutoCAD related problems.
                                      Now before one I have a problem of DVD Writer means I could not able to write any CD or DVD, so that during one month (09.03.2008)my laptop sent to near Lenevo Trouble Shooter, Jaipur. Till now i could not get my laptop back. I also make a call to Jaipur to know current status of my laptop but I could not get any information also fece a bad behavior form them.

                                      I Gopan.G.Nair is a user of lenovo laptop (Idea PadY[protected]Q, S/N.ABQ0051059, SL.NO.7758-44QME-17180).I have chosen this laptop because of companies reputation and also the classical features of this model mainly high configuration. It was purchased from your SANS INFOCARE (yours exclusive showroom) Palakkad on 07.07.08(inauguration day).

                                      Now I think it was a mistake that I have purchased this because it gives me mental agonies as well as loss in my business also. The main reason was the sticker in the keyboard panel was sticked in the screen as it makes the screen rubbish, as it makes the system an old model. Also the battery backup was very weak.

                                      Stating these reasons I have given complaint to Lenovo supporting centers and had a case id for the same (ID NO.[protected]). On 09.07.08 the laptop was given for repair at Gloria Service Center Palakkad. They take 20days for repair and have changed the LCD panel totally. There was no change occurred for the above reasons, also the screws in the side panel was bulged out after the repair. The camera was also not working properly and also the time taken for copying and saving a file is taking more time in regardance to other systems.

                                      At the time of the purchase an offer ‘MARCH MANIA’ is going on and I have registered in redemption offer (Redemption Code is E1AF1BD61023B) of Tata Sky connection has been received. A mail has been received to me to redeem a fee and it has also done. But up to today I haven’t received any prizes regarding to your offers.

                                        i purchased a lenovo y410 series laptop.a gift offer was there ,i completed all the formalities n sent them draft also,,but i didnt get my gift yet.

                                        I have purchased lenovo y500 77614EQ model (serial no:MA8KEM7)laptop from das enterprises (kharagpur, W.B). With reference to the advertisement, i got a conformation mail frm lenovo that i have won a cordless headphone.
                                        with necessary documents, DD for RS500 and Gift Redemption Code ( D958CB5D2572B) document, The Bar Coded product serial number (original) pasted on the cardboard packaging of my laptop, Copy of the laptop Purchase Invoice has been sent to channel technologies, noida on march 8 2008.
                                        but, till now i haven't received the gift yet.

                                        I sent a draft (Amount- Rs. 1, 499, DD Number- '038435' in favor of Channel Technologies with all the required documents on 4-Feb-2009. The Redemption code which I received after
                                        registeration is "RED[protected]". Later I received a mail from Channel Technologies team saying mobile phone will be sent in next 4-6 weeks but its been more then
                                        7 weeks, I haven't received the mobile phone yet.
                                        When I contacted Channel Technologies, they said "It will take another month or so". May I know when at the earliest I'll receive this phone which I have already paid for.
