Hello,

Reference to your confirmation for the Lenovo New Year offer . I had purchased my G430 laptop on 15th of Dec 2008 from you govindnagar kanpur dealer and subsequently on 16th dec 2008 I got my product registerd on your website aferwards couriered all the required documents to your agent Channel Technologies-NOIDA. I am dejected to inform that I have no information regarding issue of free gift as promised in spite making a personal visit to NOIDA to enquire about the status. It was shocking to find out that your agent had no idea whether my draft was received and no status at all on either receipt of draft or worst issue of free gift.No body in the office could give any information on either receipt of draft or issue of free gift.

The whole advertisement of free gift from a reputed company like lenova seems to be a farce as you have handed over your responsibility to outside agency who is virtually sleeping to say the least.

Least I expect from you is the acknowledgment of this mail and at least information whether at all Lenovo has any intention fro arranging for the gift against massive advertisement over media.

    the date was 2nd july 2008.

    I had bought it from COMPLETE SOLUTION, GWALIOR(Madhya Pradesh).
    the owner of this solution had told me that i will get a gift from lenovo.

      i purchased lenovo laptop Y510 44Q fm Unique Infoways Private ltd(Delhi), Nehru Place thrgh dealer Sudhir Kumar Pandey .at the time of sale dealer gave full assurance of free 2 yr extended warranty on this particular model but after deal he just told to register in internet and avail this offer without telling clearly all the details and formaltiesd reqd to avail this offer.When i contacted lenovo customer care this always pased on the matter to someone else without solving the exact pblm.then i was told to send some documents on Banglore address which i sent thrgh registered post but i received no reply fm them.even i was told that offer is extended t ill new year so it wil take some time.in between again when i contacted dealer for help he didn't help me and just told to contact the company.after long time i was told to send the documents at Noida address and which rebemtion no. they were requiring it was wrong as i was not informed to registered at some special site meant for that.
      Daily i am contactig the company people but they just tel for some or the other document and in that case lot of time has elapsed now i feel cheated by the dealer as well as the company.as while the transcaction was made i was told for free extended warranty without any formalties but now they are just passing the matter to eachother.

      Lenovo Laptop Y510 — service centre took the laptop from last 3 months

      respected sir,
      i have a lenovo laptop.it has a hinges broken problem.i gave my laptop to a service centre named RC IDEAL IN VELACHERY CHENNAI.
      he told that he will repair the laptop in one week and took the 7700 rs.the date he took the laptop was 25 oct 2009.after that he started to avoid me.sir please come tommorow your laptop is not ready now like that.now he is telling that i can not repair laptop take the half of money what u paid.i asked him to sell my laptop then he told that the laptop price is 3500rs.when i gave the laptop to him the price was nearly 25000rs.
      he damaged my laptop's external body also.and he opened the hole laptop and did everything whatever he want.
      the laptop is with him now i didn't take it back
      please help me already he damaged my laptop with great extent.now i cant use it as laptop.only possible way to use it as desktop

        It is unfortunate to inform that Lenovo/IBM will be no more a customer friendly company. They will not register the product and extend the warranty to their customers. I have purchased Lenovo Ideapad Y430 from a local dealer at Hyderabad on 11/12/2008. Immediately I registered giving all my personal data. I received a confirmation which was given as in the attachment the same day. Despite all these, and inspite of all my repeated communications with Lenovo/IBM customer care, my product was never registered and warranty was not provided, leave alone some free gifts they are offering at the time. Their senior personnel at customer care - post sales support one Ms. Soumya, has even said that it is fault that I didnot purchase the product through Lenovo sales, and it is my duty to call them and inform about the purchase and make sure my product registered and beg them for the freebies. Then what is the purpose of ON LINE REGISTRATION at all?

        I am Anjaneyulu Rathod one of the owner of lenovo y430 lap top bearing serial no CBQ0002432 and the case id IS L9680047 from CROMA STORES JUBILEE HILLS on 21-feb-2009, and my lap having some pixel problem with the LCD DISPLAY When it is in black background one pixel is not working I noticed it yesterday and when I took it for the service center the guys are saying that the pixel wont be cover under warranty, think sir any customer will not do to the lcd display and why I come to your service center without the problem, I paid 47000/- for the laptop I am not even used that to my requirements your guys are not supposed to talk like that they are saying that you beg from lenovo don’t ask us anything in our service center like that and I am helpless while seeing them but I never expect this type of service from you sir, And I humbly requesting you that sir please do needful for my problem if you can see the laptop you vl defenetely feel it is new and one more bad sales experience with the croma dealer is that the laptop which I had purchased it is the display piece they sold me, when I asked them for the other model they told me that that is the only one model we are having and if you are willing to take take it but don’t ask us anything about other model they simply sold that laptop to me
        So please kindly look into this matter and do needful for my problem and it is not even crossed 3 months sir

        I bought this piece of in February...Paid 1500 for DD...They said...Ok We'll send ur gifts within two months...But it has beeen six months they have been cheating us...These are the social criminials...They should be charged some case and punished...They are thieves with Organisations...Is there nobody who can handle them well so that these type of Frauds will think Twice before they start such Robbing Organisation...!!!

MA-A6569 from Fore Solutions Pvt. ltd.SCO 365, first floor.SEC 35B CHANDIGARH.on 25.10.2008 vide invoice no 640 along with offer of DIWALI DOUBLE DEAL confirmed by reference code RED[protected] by lenovo, but till today i have not received the said gift inspite of my repeated personal and telephonic reminders.On top of it during my last visit to ForeSolutions office iwas told of their helplessness in this regard.Would I be able to get some justice?

              i bought lenovo 4153 33-q model with serial number eb09639589 from A.B.ONLINE, GANDIDHAM, GUJARAT, ON 23RD OF JAN 2009 MY PURCHASE INVOICE NUMBER IS 1161 DATED 23RD OF JAN 2009.                 I bought lenovo ideapad y510 laptop. The common problem is hinge. It is broken. When i contacted the service center they are saying that your part will come in one and half months. They are trying to cheat me. Worst service.

                Lenovo have been terrible, it has taken them a month to organise the laptop to be picked up by the courier, and another month for the depot to contact me, and NOW i have been emailed a bill for $850 to repair my laptop which from no fault of my own has split in half as a result of the faulty hinge on this product. i am EXTREMELY unsatisfied and i would urge all consumers to boycott lenovo products. This has been the single worst purchase i have made in my life and i will NEVER buy lenovo again.

                  i bought lenovo laptop model no.- 415228Q.at 16th jan 2009. the laptop is creating the problem twice .

                  Lenovo — Lenovo Laptop Not Working

                  Dear Sir,
                  I have bought a lenovo laptop Y-500 series, 4EQ just 5 days ago.But it is not working as expected.It has 1.3 mgpxl camera.When I'm clicking on Shooting View after seeing photo gallery, shooting view is not displayed.I'm unable to play games like Cricket 07, Fifa 07, IGI 2 etc..Is this happening for Windows Vista.But It has 1 GB RAM.

                  Lenovo Laptop — RAM problem

                  when any player is started and then closed, whole monitor get blanked for few minutes and then reappears and sometimes it get restarted. Message displayed that theres problem in hardware.

                  i took Y410 Lenovo Laptop 1 year ago. it gets shutted down every 5 minutes or 10 minutes as it gets heated up. please take some ction

I took it to the dealer and asked him to format it. when i went again one of your official from service center who was present there told that its motherboard has to be replaced.
                  since then its motherboard has been replaced then its hard disk was replaced. still its one touch recovery feature is not working and they are saying that company is not responsible for software. Since then i have not got my laptop. i request you to kindly replace the laptop.

                  i purchase lenovo laptop on march 2012 . i week latter my laptop hard disk are not work properly and not start my laptop .
                  plz give the solution on my laptop
                  Lenovo is without a doubt the worst and most dishonest company doing business in America today. To put it bluntly, they are liars and thieves. I have been in a battle with my credit card company over the $2, 000.00 I spent on a Lenovo notebook last July, 2014. They simply deny everything I send proof of to MasterCard and must have some pull since they are Chinese because no other credit card company ever gave me the run around on a bad purchase like this. There is no tech support whatsoever, even though it is promised in the service agreement. Any little problem they quickly solve by telling me to reinstall Windows. Normally that would not be too much a burden except that the sneaky Lenovo people do not give you a reinstall disc like other respectable companies. They will send you after you report a problem a set of 4 reinstall discs that must be inserted and reinserted for a setup that takes a minimum of 4-6 hours. One time it took over 8 hours. A normal Windows installation takes about 30 minutes max and Lenovo is busy forcing you to install all this scumware that is unnecessary and possibly a security risk. This is what happens when the US allows legitimate US businesses to be sold to criminal countries like China because we know they cannot be trusted to deal honestly with anything tech related. On top of that, Lenovo is still somehow involved with IBM as IBM still answers the telephone and directs you to Lenovo. Do not buy from these foreign criminals no matter what.

                    i purchaged a lenovo laptop 5 days back. three digits i.e. space, backspace and enter are not working properly. these digits didn't work sometime. so plz help me and reply as soon as possible.
                    I am an unfortunate owner of Lenova Laptop model 3000Y-7757-88Q ( MA-ABRL0 ). I puerchased this Laptop from [protected]@HOME, Beasant Nagar in August 2008.
                    I entered into additional warranty on[protected] with Techmac Innovators, Velachery, Chennai by paying Rs 4500/-. When I compalained that my DVD in the above laptop is not recognised, they said that my motherboard has become faulty and it requires replacement.
                    I was told that the service pack of motherboard has not yet received by them even till date. They are also not sure when the same will be received by them.
                    It is more than a month the laptop is idle with me.
                    It was sad that that the service levels of Lenovo is very much wanting. I repent now for spending Rs 45, 500/- for a notebook computer which is a dead investment.
                    I am not sure whether Lenovo can do anything about improving the service

                        Lenovo laptop 62Q Complaints - hard disk space not up to the claimed

                        i bought a Lenovo laptop Model No n-7757 Part No- R3N[protected]
                        Serial No- EB08152749, 62Q on17 may 2008 from a shop called ITJ RETAILS STORE JHANSI.
                        Though before bying i was told that the laptop is having configuration of 1GB RAM and 160 GB HDD but after i bought it and bought it home i found that the total hard disk memory i was given is 149GB.
                        Given the fact that the Operating System takesup 2GB of memory space and the disk partitioning takes maximum upto 1GB space, i should have recieved my memory having atleast 155GB.
                        but i jst have 149GB as my memory space.
                        SO i think either i have been cheated on my Memory or they partioned it wrongly which now they refuse to acknowledge.
                        so in this regard i wud seriously wish to lodge a sincere complain owing the fact that my laptop cost me Rs.39000 to be exact.
                        Kindly take up the matter at the earliest.

                          I have purchased the Lenovo IdeaPad Y430 form a local dealer at Hyderabad and registered with Lenovo on line immediately after Purchase of my product the details as follows:Lenovo IdeaPad Y430; Model name: 2781 C3Q; Serial No: CBQ0009062; MT/Mod. Serial Number: 27813CQ MP006W7 on 11th December, 2008. I got a confirmation on line. I have provided all my details including my mailing address and email address along with my phone/mobile numbers. I did not receive any emails from you. I took it granted that the product is registered and kept quiet. When I am browsing the web site Lenovo, in Jan, 2009 casually, I have noticed that my warranty was not up dated in your system, and to my astonishment, I was not registered too. I also noticed that there are about 9 different free offers available with two to be claimed for my product. I tried to contact Lenovo help line (I needed to go thro' lot of red tapism, and calling various different customer care numbers several times i.e., more than 30 different persons) and ultimately they said it will be done. I could not get it registered even today. When I called their customer care one of them helped me to get it registered with a different email address. This is because my first email address was in their system and hence it is not allowing me to duplicate the registration on the same email address. If, so why I am not registered at all? This is unfortunate to inform you that Lenovo is not at all Customer friendly organization any more. We were being given all wrong Telephone numbers, and email addresses, both in print as well as on Telephone, which are not reachable. In my experience this happened for more than 50 times. They have directed me to a different address [protected]@channel-technologies.com (a subsidiary co. which is there to promote the sales) to correspond with Mr. Satyendra and request him about my registration and the redemption offer, which I did immediately. At the end of more than 3 months of my calls and email correspondence, after more than two weeks, Mr. Satyendra responds that my claim was rejected as I could not register at all. When I called the Lenovo post-sales department, they also says the same and started blaming me for not buying this product from them, and not informing them about the purchase immediately after my transaction. What is the purpose of the product registration following the purchase?? In fact I have purchased this product despite the discouragement, I got from the dealer from whom I have purchased as well as some other local vendors, because I am owning a Thinkpad and IBM has provided me with superlative customer service. Lenovo is no more a genuine company to rely on at least in India, as it has developed a China Wall like hierarchy which is unpenetratable and the help line is only for name sake and no customer service is provided. They give false promises/offers which cannot be claimed. Leave alone these offers, proper registration for the product also is out of our reach. I feel Lenovo-India should be black listed for it’s poor performance in catering to the needs of it’s Customers.

                          I recently bought a lenovo idea pad y 560 from US . Though i was excited after buying the laptop .then the laptop was brought to India the very next day when i tried starting it dint start and started gettng heated up alot and it was not working i went to the lenovo service centre and the complaint for loged with the complaint no:-[protected] and was logged on[protected] that day they tried to put parts which were not aproriate when brought to their notice they could not respond. today i go to the service center and find that they have nt even ordered the fan and today the guy placed the order in front of me . If lenovo cannot provide us the service they tell us about while selling please return me the amount i have paid for . my no is [protected]

                            I bought lenovo Y500 13 months back.Now my battery doesn't get charged while my laptop is on.
                            But as soon as I shut down the laptop battery starts getting charged.Please tell as to the nature of the problem- software or hardware and what I should do now.

                              i have purchased lenovo 3000N100 AQ1 laptop in august 2007 from nehru place. its battery backup fall to 20 minutes even in its initial period. now suddenly it has gone to 0%. I have found exactly similar problem with thousands of people. what shuld i do now? shuld i again purchase a battery cost 6000Rs. and again after 1 year ii have 2 invest another 6000?? please help me.

                                My lenovo Y410 is terrible. It's DVD-ROM doesn't work anymore( it can not read or write a CD)

                                y410 — DVD/CD rom fails to work

                                i dont know what happened, a couple of months ago, my laptop able to burn and read DVDs. As of now, I'm having a hard time on burning DVDs and figuring out what went wrong. It wont let any DVD to be read or burn files. It always displays "please insert a disk into drive E:..."

                                With that display, i now concluded that my DVD/CD rom has a defect. Generally, if I'm not mistaken, the laptop was only used for about 8 DVD burning that went out successful since it is bought.
                                Same here...5th time they replaced the DVD within warranty period...now the warranty period is over...[:(]
                                Sir my dvd rom wont recognize blank disks.
                                i can confirm that lenovo gt fkd up with the dvd rom on tht particular model..mine failed within 4 months, . btw i didnt evn burn 10 dvds out of it.. pls save some money and buy a better model next time.. i do not want to advertise her pls go for the ones made in japan or europe ;)
                                my 2 number os LENOVO y410 has the same DVD problem. It is not working. I think this is a global issue and LENOVO should replace the same free...call [protected]

                                  I have bought a lenovo laptop 3000 N 100 and here are the issues that i had faced.
                                  1. There was a problem playing Music /Video from the Drive while i copy some data across the drives, I reached the IBM service center they said i have to reinstall the OS. But i was able to get the issue resolved with just few mouse clicks. This shows how technically good they are.

                                  2. As usual the battery dies just few months before the warrenty could go and got a new battery replaced and that also died even before a year could complete. So this is the quality of the product supplied by lenovo. i have sent a email to smcindia where i have not received a reply till date. Useless Cutomer care, Hate calling it Care they dont care.

                                  3. Now that my battery was down one day there was not display and the BIOS would not come up. walked up to the service centre and i know about the warranty stuff they would say. So i agreed to pay for the COMPLETE HARDWARE DIAGNOSTICS for the laptop to tell me what was the problem.Rs1600 approx.

                                  I have got an email from them saying replace motherboard and the issue will be resolved. What a great diagnostics ? And i spoke to the engineer and he said they do a part level diagnostics so i dont know why the recepetionist called it a complete hardware diagnostics ?

                                  Replacing the motherboard isnt an answer. I had asked what was the problem in motherboard he said he will not do that. and the charge for giving me this stupid suggestion of replacing my motherboard was 1600rs.

                                  I would say this Lenovo 3000 N 100 is a cheap quality product from lenovo and it shouldbe banned. Also complete hardware diagnostics cheat by the IBM service centers should be strictly informed to all pubilc and save from from getting into this kind of stupid diagnostics.

                                  So u pay money and get a cheap product, and again u pay money for diagnostics and get nothing.

                                  Best part was the replacement of that mother board was approx 30k where my laptop cost was nearly 35k.

                                  I WILL NOT RECOMMEND LENOVO AS A QUALITY PRODUCT AT ANY POINT OF TIME IN MY LIFE.

                                  its very disappointing to inform the laptop which i purchased from croma, ahmedabad leptop model is Z 580i idea pad with 3 years warrenty in nov 2012.its harddisk was crashed in 10 days . . . . .of purchase date.

                                  then i got a complain registered and it took 15 days to get the job done defective hard disk was replcaed by new one

                                  after that my leptop usage was not extensive now same problem occurs as past .so i think another harddisk crashed once again

                                  this laptop has annoyed me a lot i think this peice is onle defective and i waste my 38500.00 rs requisting you to replace the piece

                                    I bought a lenovo Y-510 series laptop (product model[protected]Q and serial no. ME-15025) on date-- 23 june 2008 at 7:26:03 pm (i have attached copy of invoice with this mail)
                                    from S.A.Infosys, plot no.-6, 1st floor, sahid nagar, Bhubaneswar, Orissa.

                                    From the very 1st day (i.e. 23 june 2008)at 9:00pm when i reached home happily with my new laptop, unfortunately i discovered that my laptops DVD-ROM is not functioning, not
                                    reading or writing any type of cd/dvd.So i called the Dealer at pnone no.[protected], they told me to come tomorrow with laptop.
                                    I went with my laptop at 3:00 pm, and he told it was minor problem and he returned on same day.

                                    But my problem was not yet over.I had a new series of problems were waiting for me.
                                    After using my laptop for 15 days i started to face driver problems such as volume controll key stopped working, touch pad stopped working, key board was not working.
                                    So i called customer care and they told me to formate my laptop and reload the OS and driver.But after doing that i had still same problem.
                                    so, finally they(customer care) gave me a complain no.--[protected] and told me to submit my laptop at lenovo service centre at bhubaneswar(Wizer tech, gopabandhu sqr.bbsr).


                                    I submitted my laptop on16/10/2008 to the above mentioned office, they kept it for 1 month.after 1 month they called me to collect the laptop as it is repaird.
                                    but when i went there, my laptop was in same condition as it was before.then i checked my laptop there only at service centre, not even a single problem was solved.
                                    Then they told me to submit my laptop for more 2 days.
                                    but i denied, and came back with my defective laptop.
                                    some how i managed it with that persisting problem.


                                    Again after 20 days, i discoverd that my laptop hinge case has started producing cracking sound, and i was not able to open the lid of laptop.later on i found that i was cracked.
                                    I called again C.Care on 5th jan.2009, they gave me CASE no.--L915005Q, and told me to submitt my laptop.
                                    After one and half month that is on 26/02/2009 collecetd my laptop.

                                    Now after two days i.e. on 28/02/2009 i found that my wi-fi is not working, there is very low data trasnfer, internet surfing is very very slow.
                                    And on 1/3/2009 i found that my DVD-ROM switch is not working.not able to eject my dvd.
                                    I called C.Care on 2/3/2009, they gave me a new case no. L932005R, and told to submit the laptop to service centre.

                                    Now i am fed up with this laptop, it is not possible for to go to service centre very frequently since i am a MBBS student, it is not possible to miss my classes .
                                    I have called to C.Care many a times, but never got satisfactory results.

                                    I have decided to complain a case against LENOVO INDIA LTD at consumer court, i have all the documents and proof with me.


                                    NOW, i realized that my 50, 0000 rs went into dustbin, and i have done a great great mistake by chosing lenovo laptop for my studies.
                                    i dont want to see this laptop again in my study table this LAPTOP is a DUPLICATE CHINESE LAPTOP.
                                    plz do me a favour, plz send me a address where i can send my DEFECTIVE laptop back, get my LAPTOP replaced with a ORIGINAL LENOVO LAPTOP.

                                        I leaved in Pilkhuwa district ghaziabad. I purchased a laptop in march 2008. brand name is LENOVO and model idea pad Y[protected]Q the cost of it 52000/- Rs. I facing many problems from the date of purchase. I detect a problem that laptop automatically restart. can not log on window for this i complaint in lenovo care and locked the call for repair it in the date 10 january 2009 but could not repair till now. I am suffering physically financially cause of that. I complaints many Times in lenovo care but not get solution for that. problem case id is L91A00L7
                                        I purchased a laptop in September 2007. Brand name is LENOVO
                                        I facing a problem that my laptop has no battery back up. Then I contacted the service centre at Calicut- the Redington, P.T.Usha Raod, 4th Railway Gate, Calicut – 673002 many times. Every time they are telling that one IC is damaged, it will be corrected soonly. Now this is the fifth month, pathetically it is not repaired so far. I am suffering physically financially because of that.
