[Resolved]  Lg Air Conditioner — Problem in Room Air Conditioner

Dear concerned person,

On 9th march, I bought one split room Air conditioner (Model No: LSA19YBVTY2) from PUSHPAK ELECTRONICS (TP NAGAR, KORBA, CHHATISHGARH). At that time of purchase I asked for a fresh piece from them, but they forced me to buy a display item .They also gave me guarranty that if anything happens, it will be immediately replaced with newone.
From the very first day of installation, from the product abnormal sound is coming and several times Mr Lochan Sahu from Star Vision Services, Authorised Service Center, had been contacted and the people of him didn't able to rectify it, but they are able to completely ruin it . Now the condition of that Ac is completely dead and PCB of that also damaged.
Now I shall not give any person to touch it, I want to get it changed it with new one.
Hope you people will hurry up with your activities.

LG — Window AC problem

Two complaints records which i had kept with me are : [protected] ,[protected]
MODEL NUMBER LWA18G2DF1; ES NO. ; 804NLPQ006112.

I purchased my WIndow AC in year 2009, but it worked for two days, on calling LG engineer he told us, that the Vultages are very low ie around 170 volts, The whole year the Ac couldnt worked, But this year State Electricity Board has installed a new transformer and now our voltages is excellent around 230 Volts which is required.
But the problem is same, as the ac starts, it takes current around 9-10 amps and increases gradually to 22-25 amps and then settles by tripping with compressor. Now, around 20-25 engineers have attended the problem but no solution. I have invested around 19000 Rs, and till date not a relief of 19 rs.

I request you to take the things inyour control and help me out as i am tired of LG's very poor services.

I WOULD LIKE TO INFORM YOU THAT A MONTH BEFORE WE HAVE LOGGED A CALL IN SUBJECT OF NON-COOLING FROM THE ROOM AC. MR. MERAJ HUSAIN CAME AND REFILLED THE GAS AND SAID DON'T LOG THE REQUIRMENTS OR SERVICES ON TOLL FREE NO. AND GAVE HIS MOBILE NO. [protected] AND SAID WE WILL SERVE YOU AS DIRECTLY ON A CALL ON MOBILE PHONE. WE CALLED HIM THAT AC IS NOT COOLING WELL INSTEAD OF REFILLING OF GAS. HE REMAIN MAKING EXCUSES FOR NOT COMING TO CHECK THE PROBLEM. THEN WE MADE A COMPLAINT ON TOLL FREE NO. A NEW MAN CAME AND SAID THAT COMPRESSOR IS NOT HAVING THE DESIRED GAS. NOW WHEN WE SAID THAT A MONTH BEFORE WE HAVE GOT THE REFILLING DONE OF GAS BY YOUR COMPANY AND WE HAVE PAID RS. 1700 ALSO THEN HE SAID TO TALK TO MR. ANURAG WAHAL. WHEN WE HAVE A TELCON WIHT MR. ANURAG WAHAL HE IS NOT INTERESTED IN TAKING THE PAIN AT ALL. ANURAG WAHAL AND MERAJ HUSAIN BOTH ARE TALKING THE SAME. KINDLY LOOK INTO THE MATTER AS WE HAVE PAID Rs. 1700 AS THE CHARGE SAID BY THEM AND TILL DATE THE PROBLEM IS NOT RECTIFIED. YOUR EMPLOYEES ARE MAKING A FOOL OF YOUR CUSTOMERS. NOW THEY ARE SAYING THAT THERE IS THE WARRANTY OF ONLY ONE MONTH OF GAS AFTER REFILLED. THIS CONDITION WAS NOT TOLD TO US AND WHEN WE WERE COMPLAING THAT AC IS NOT COOLING THAT TIME THEY DON'T EVEN BOTHERED TO TURN UP. KINDLY LOOK INTO THE MATTER AND DO THE NEEDFUL AND PLEASE LOG THE COMPLAINT IN THE NAME OF ANURAG WAHAL AND MERAJ HUSSAIN.

Ac is not working properly.

LG - Split A/C — Complaint not addressed

I have made my complaint about Split A/c Water leakage problem and first free service on June 02 2010. They said within 24hr service engineer will contact you. But my daily followup, 5th day only service Engineer attend the service. When he came power is off, so he just look the A/c then he said everything is alright and ask to sign for problem solved and not ready do the first free service also. But I said I cannot sign without checking. So he left the day and close the current complaint and made next complaint then next day he came and find out the problem. Service Engineer said that one parts has to be replaced with some other team, they will come next day.

Till date nobody is coming. Everyday I follow up with Customer care & local center. Everyday they said, we will set the reminder to our senior Engineer, they will look this matter and also they given some of the number to contact their senior executive. I try contact him in given number unfortunately Nobody pickup the call.

I am very regret to say that its highly irresponsible behavior from LG India. I am very much frustrated.

I have LG split A.C. for which I got the AMC. On 25th June, 2010 I lodged a complaint No. C[protected] and the service engineer were quick to visit me. I had low cooling complaint and high consumption of current. After the inspection the service engineer told me that the servicing of the A.C. is required. Since the out door unit is mounted out side the engineer suggested me that he will visit on 26th June 2010 in the morning hours. On 26th at about 1.00 P.M. some other service engineer visited me and said that the cooling was ok. The service is not covered in AMC. It is high time that the customer service department must look in to the things. CSI of L.G. going down . I have almost all L.G. products which I am feeling deceived. I have LG products at home and and having a very defficut time.Front end loading washing machine was a real pain in the neck.For the last two years I am using Samsung washing maching I nener had any problem. L.G. service Crntres are run by non professionals and behave very indiffrent. I have already put a brake on L.G. products.
I have logged complaint with LG for AC not working. This is the 3rd time I have registered a complaint and without any fix to the problem they close the complaint. No one bothers to address the real problem. I have spent time just registering complaints and doing follow up. This is the worst customer care that I have seen. The other companies are very quick to resolve the issues.

I would not recommend LG product of any kind to anyone. DO NOT BUY LG Products at all.
We have puchased Lg Ac 1.5 Ton in 2009 and are never satisfied with his output.I think its a defective piece.Now last yr my Ac got repaired from Lg service guys and this yr again there is a problem and technicians they sent is of low knowledge abt the AC.Now again this yr there is some issue as it is not working properly and some sound is coming from inner part and when we called service guys from LG they came and said there is no problem but the problem is the same.I really frustated with LG Ac and thought of never to buy Lg product in future.

I'm Babu. I purchased LG 1.5 ton in July 2009. I was satisifed with 1st two service. At the time of 3rd serivce, i made nearly 100 calls to LG customer care from 10th June 2010, after 20 days my call was responded. at last some how or the other I managed to bring the service guys to my place. At that time I found that there is some leakage in GAS. Since then I'm calling LG service person to attend the complaint. I would have made nearly 4 calls a day to Customer care but there is no response. Im following up with LG customer care since one month. I want immediate response at the earliest & i want you to change the gas container immediately. If not I may go to legal. I'm really disappointed with LG & also I don't hope for going LG products in future. I want immediate relief.

1. Water flowing from indoor unit
2. Remote problem
3. Swing problem

..it workd for only one day...since then it has bein off...the second day a person came to rectify it..he said that rat has cut the copper wire..where as there are no rats at my place..n in one day such a thing canot happen... he rectified it...after a few days the compressor stoped working...
technician said theres gas leak...since then ...i have bein calling the technician the response in not at all up to the mark...they have not taken the ac from my house ...
m really alrming to c see how r u running ur commpnay...the costomer service is pathetic...as leading company in elctronics you should take responsiblity o[censored]r products...
it is my request that u plz replace the ac with a new one...

i spent 1700.00 dollars on youre product in august99 in nov 99 it quit working had repair people come back out fixed ittwice now in late october 2010 it quit again called the business that sold me the ac and the owner died they would not return my calls about who was doing warrenty work so i gt hold of the salesman who reccondmended a guy who charged me 75.00 to tell me the compressor was bad he couldnt get parts so i called 3rd tradition heating tey charged me 220.00 to install a new compressor still not working correctly so now i have 3000.00 in an ac and heating unit that has not run for a year yet without sometype of major problems i cant even find a number to call and talk to a live person about my complaints this is not good business to make someone spend their hard earned money on this type of problems i would like for someone to contact me fromthe company please

LG — Excessive noise in AC

I had lodged a complaint regarding excessive sound in the LG window AC. Instead of solving the problem, I met with some rude experience while interacting with their service personnel.

This is really humiliating that after you have purchased an LG product, you will only be required to pay some more to get genuine problems solved. The company is least bothered.
The Indian consumer is being taken for granted by the LG company. They think that we are all uneducated illiterates and can be fooled into buying the products without expecting any service
This is to bring to your notice that the LG AC model No. Split AC LSCSCW2VF1 Sl. No.911NLBU003149
is frequently giving trouble i.e. leakage of water from the AC. The LG Service People are attending and rectifying, but the same problem is recurring without any rectification. Service charges are being paid. without any rectifiction of the origtinal complaint. we request you to kindly go through the complaint and any delay in response or non rectifiction may lead to a consumer complaint as we think that the product it self is defective as we are getting the same problem again and again. Please treat this as urgent and reply.

Hello Sir,
I am NAGESH KUMAR, I purchased LG split AC 1Ton last year 31.5.2010 in Chennai. Now the AC is not working for past ten days. Regarding this I complained to the Customer care center Chennai over phone[protected]. on 31.3.2011. Next day 1.4.2011, one person was sent by customer care and he told that the AC is not working because of the Gas leakage. And he told that he come tomorrow and will attend the repair. So far No body has come and rectify the problem. Again I complained to the Customer Care on 4.4.2011, 5.4.2011 &6.4.2011. My complaint no is RNA[protected].
But no response, no service from the service persons. I kindly ask you make necessary action for rectify the AC.
