[Resolved]  LG India Air Conditioner - Floor Product Code Lp - K3685qc — Air conditioner not cooling after installation

Product Code LPK3685QC –LG Air conditioner bought on 17.08.08 delivered on 24.08.08. Installation in the 1st Week of Sep’08. When we tried using the AC for the first time after installation on 8th Oct’08 the AC was not cooling. We immediately placed a complaint with the LG service centre. Complaint No W8CA1000357 dated 9th Oct’08.
Two different engineers visited us on 11th Oct’08. They were both clueless about the problem with the AC.
On 12th Oct’08 again a group of engineers checked the AC & failed to diagnose the problem.
In the meantime we placed another complaint thru the LG website. Complaint no[protected]. We received an email from Mr. Ravinder Chaudhry of LG India giving us the contact details of the branch service Manager Mr. Harish Suri. We tried contact Mr. Suri nth no of times but he didn’t respond.
As the service centre had not escalated the matter to the higher level we placed the complaint again on 14th Oct’08 Complaint No W8CA1404736. The engineers once again visited us and were not able to understand the problem.
The point is LG has high end products but not enough qualified engineers to solve the problem. The Service centre has very careless behaviors. We have taken two working days off to resolve the issue.
We have stated to LG that they have sold a defective piece & it must be replaced. If their engineers are unable to solve the problem for the defective product which LG has sold, why as a consumer I should be penalized?
LG refuse to respond on this matter.

To:dear sir v have the complaint of LG air-condition after installing the air-condition it is not giving the cooling effect n there is a gas leakage n inspite of LG dealer [SB audio-video gulbarga]even after complaining there is no action taken from the dealer n the service vat they provide is strategtic n this is highly unexceptable by ordinary consumers Please take the action immediately n we except the same from areputed company like LG.
We purchased an AC (split type) . vide OD no DRVLOO4031 & ID no DRY MOO4082. On packing model is written as LSA19XIRDEI.

I request LG company to let me know whether it is 1.5 capacity model or One tonne capacity. Moreover what features are available in this model as acustomer we are at sea. It should have been better to indicate on unit about capacity of A/c. Sellers once take money they dont bother to hear us. Your manual book is common for all units rather than individule units & certificate of contents. All we are getting open boxes.

I was about to buy the LG LPK3685QC and just googled to check the best offer price and came to know about the problem faced by you. Is the problem resolved by LG? I am too much scared to buy this product now. Now, will wait till you revert back on the status of problem.
