THESE DAYS I AM FEELING THAT TO BUY A LG PRODUCT IS A VERY FOOLISH DECISION BECAUSE THEY DO NOT CARE AFTER SALE SERVICE.

I have made 2 complaints to LG customercare through request id S8CC2200839 on 22/12/08, S8CC2404902 on 24/12/08.

Engineer came to me and told that Gas will be filled up. But the gas is still not filled up till 27/12/08 while they promise us to get the same resolved by 24 hours. To avoid any kind of escalation they are creating other request id so that 24 hr deadline can not be challenged. The example for the same is that I got the SMS on 26th that they created anoter request id S8CC2605392 for the same problem on 26/12/08 without asking me.

Customercare has given the mob no of engineer alloted for the problem. Whenever I call him he says that he is in meeting and will call me back. Now he is not taking my calls.

Whenever I try to make the complaint to the customer care executives they said they will look into the matter. Till now I have made atleast 50 calls to customer care centre but no result.

Please let me know what should I do now.

This is the worst company service have ever seen.

After buying product worth 60, 000 odd dealer doesnt have a proper service number/nether the number given in the product manual pick up... still my problem is not resolved after a month and my gaurantee is over before two days... Going thru tortuers calling these idiotic service ( NEVER GO FOR LG PRODUCTS IN YOUR LIFE ) IF SOME ONE CAN SHARE THE HIGHER OFFICER CONTACT NO/ EMAIL ID TO ESCALATE THIS WOULD BE HELFUL... HAVE ALSO RAISED A COMPALAINT IN CONSMER COURT

    Myself Nimisha Gupta bought a LG Semi Automatic Washing Machine (WP-1021S) from store CROMA (12/7 Main Mathura Road NH-2 Faridabad) whose serial number is 808NLAM027256 on 02 Oct 2008. After using the machine twice I come to know that the machine is torning one or more clothes in washing. I had made the same complaint to Croma as well as LG. Initailly LG people told us that we have mishandled the machine. We should remove all the hooks from the clothes before washing which is just ridiculous as they were blaming us. Since we are educated people and we know very well how to operate the washing machine. When I forced them then they send another engineer to our place and then that engineer informed us that the pulsator of the machine is down because one of the vicer was cut. He changed the vicer and asked us to use the machine once more. Again I have used the machine and it again torned my new clothes in a very bad way. When I asked them to replace the machine and give me the refund of the clothes which were damaged then these people simply denied. They are neither willing to change the defected machine nor paying for my damaged clothes. We have visited the store CROMA couple of times but every time they creates a new story. When I said them that I will go to consumer court then they simply said go to the court. I am really frustrated with the behaviour and attitude of the concerned people from LG and Tata Croma.

    Kindly look into the issue.

      I dont want any type of dialer tone in my LG reliance handset
      my handset is creating much problem I had send one message to the person but the same message is going more than 50 times the reciever is telling me that dont do messages to me but it is too much rediculous for me I was surprised by this type of problem in all reliance hansets
      Plz consider my problem & give reply to me

        Hi

        I had bought LG refrigerator last year in october.
        On this there is a one year warranty.

        2 months back I had complained that my frige is not cooling and it is producing a lot of heat on the back side.(With in warranty period)

        The LG people had adviced me through phone that stop the fridge for a day and on it again.At that moment I dont know that there is some serious problem going on .

        For the next two months the power bill had quadrapuled.

        Than I put a thought in to it and found that the frigde had gone wrong and it is consuming a lot of power.

        Again I had complained and this time they came and checked and found that some parts of fridge are damaged.

        Now the warranty period is over.

        I had to pay the service charges and charges for parts.

        This is because of the poor service by the company and their advice.

        For LG information I am most loyal customer to LG as I had bought TV, AC, FRIDGE and DVD all LG and now I regret .

        This has happened even though LG boasts about its service and warranty.

          Sir,
          I would not even dream to realize that L.G. (LOW GRADE) product will prove it’s worth so accurately and so is LG’S whole team of customer care management. They truly represent the three monkeys of Gandhiji e.g. never see the customer’s grievances, never listen to their complaints and never answer their queries.
          However, it is my duty to bring this fact once again to your notice so that you may buy time to mend it before the irreparable damage could harm the past proven reputation of your once prestigious company.
          I purchased the LG’s Flatron CT29Q14NP model from Jhankar Electronics, Kidwai Nagar, Kanpur (U.P.) in the march 2002.for Rs.54000. may be a meager amount for you, with the hope that it will serve me faultlessly for at lest a decade, which was the case with my previous ONIDA CTV which is still working well even after 20 yrs. I am virtually cursing the moment and the person who suggested me to buy LG products. I, firstly, fell prey to his advice and bought the Front Loading Fully Automatic Washing Machine. Now, my dear, you will not believe that this washing machine really washed away my peace and the purse equally well within only 2-3ys, of service. You know, sir, the handsome money I spent on it was equally divided by the cell phone service providers and your efficient service staff so much so that, finally, I had to get rid of it.
          Secondly, I purchased the above TV in the same row, which is under process of repair for the last 2/3 months, after about hundreds of calls so far. I am afraid is there any nexus between your people and cell phone service providers. Now, after 3-4 visits by different peoples, they finally revealed that the circuit kit is damaged and the ear marked kit of this “old model” is not available any where in LG workshops.
          I wonder, that LG would probably, the company in the world that is so confident about it’s product’s performance that it does not manufacture spare parts .Wow, don’t you think that this unique quality of your company qualifies for the entry in Guinness Book?
          My endeavor, here, to warn you that if this state of affairs will continue and some stern actions are not taken in due time, I doubt you will not be able to save it to meet the fate of “TITANIC”.

          LG FLATRO TV 29 INCHES — BIG TV OFFER NOT YET GIVEN SINCE I HAVE PURCHASED LG 29 INCH TV.

          I had purchased LG FLATRON (29inches) tv fro BIG bazar (mysore karnataka on 25.10.08. For which i had been told there is a big tv offer for this only 700 rupees have to be paid towards installation charges.After somany visits and followups and lots of mobile calls a big ty coupan card was given after exhactly one month.Big baza people ask me to call big tv customer care and register for the offer. but as per customer care the offer date was finishedand they told theat ofeer is not there. then again i called big bazar, they took the coupan no but till today after several reminders, offer havebeen not given .bigbazar people blame on lg company and lg company blame on relience big tv company.in middle what happened to the offer? why i should wait for that? what is the meaning of offer.Will they wait if i pay the amount delay???????????.relience big tv such a big name with cheap customer care quality and delay in service and offers so hard to digest these things.big tv is equal to a big big hat thats all.now tell me hy i have to pay 700 s ? i will not..pay. let bigbazar people and lg company or relience big tv people pay for me for giving such a long waiting offer(big hat on head).

          lg television 29 inches — repairs

          Sir,
          I had complained regarding malfunctioning of the said TV. I was directed to get in touch with Atlantic Buisness Centre, Industril Area Ph II, Chandigarh. On visiting their service centre I found that the so called centre was located in a junk dump with little and no infrastructure.The techanician who handled my TV was equilly ill trained and had no clue. Request visit the service centre and review the location, other wise your company may get a bad name.

          I have encountered a similar problem like yours. I had a very good opinion about LG, and for that reason, even the mobile i purchased was LG.
          But my experience remains different. I had bought a LG 25 inches TV Model RF 25CA40 - Marquis Golden Eye - at Jainsons, Tiruchirappalli during 2001 Dec. All was well, till September 2009. During September 2009, the TV was not able to get on. I gave a complaint at the Service centre and the same was rectified on 12 Oct.09. The service engineer replaced a IC - D2499 and charged Rs.454. In the next 12 days, the TV did not get on, with the same problem.

          We called the service centre again and registered a complaint on 26.10, 2009 - S9CA2602741. A few days later the same service engineer came, and he took the circuit with him to get it repaired. There was a long silence. After repeated calling, the engineer came and said that the part is not available, and will be rectified after getting it. After a few days, he came home with the circuit and tried to rectify the problem. But he failed to get it on again, and he said, that he has to take it back to the centre and get the fault repaired there again. He left again with the circuit and again there was a long silence from that end. Our phone calls were also not attended by the engineer. In the mean time, he called me one day and said that he has left the job with LG Service centre and was doing private service.

          Till 28.12.2009 there was a long silence from the service centre and on 28th December . In the mean time, the service engineer came home and handed over the circuit, saying that the spare part is not available anywhere, not even in Chennai. "So you can have the TV with you. I have quited the job from LG service centre". So my LG TV is lying idle at my home.
          Today, i called up the local service centre to register a complaint again, where theY advised me to book a register again with[protected]. where they will again attend to my TV.

          But for the past three months, my LG TV stays idle.

          I do not know where to complaint again.

            LG Mobile Handset — very poor from 1st day of purchase

            From the date of purchase incoming and outgoing voice is very low.
            The dealer from whom i had purchased Manoj cell page, Daryaganj vide their bill no: 171 has totally refused to replace the set.

              I had purchased a LG 37" LCD TV from Amit Enterprises, Sarojini Nagar, Delhi.

              When the sealed carton was opened the cover panel which is used to cover the slots for table stand was of 32" LCD and so was the remote, which is common to both the models.

              The engineer asked us to approach the dealer. The dealer kept the 32" cover with him and assured us to deliver a new one from the company within two days.

              After a week, on enquiry, the company asked us to contact the dealer. Since the last 1 1/2 months, we are shuttling between the dealer and the company but to no avail.

              Forget the warranty service, the company and its dealers are not able to provide a complete product. That also in the high end segment where the TV cost us Rs 60, 000/-. I am left with no option but to take the company to the consumer court and ask them to take their TV back and refund my complete payment. I will like to deal with a more responsible company.

                This is in ref to a DVD player we purchased on 15th March 2008 from the CSD store at Colaba, Mumbai. The player has developed major problems ever since. We did lodge a complaint with the LG service center. The customer compalaint cell is the worst we have come across. They neither understand the problem nor do they know how to rectify them. A service engineer came home and replaced certain parts ( CDM and MPEG cards) and it was working for a day. The next day the same problem recurred. The engineer visited again and went back saying he would need to come back and change the lens. He never came back.

                We have been trying to get in touch with LG ever since but there is absolutely no response. It has been a nightmare delaing with people at LG.

                I would like to get the problem replaced. Please do let us know how to go about it. Product details are:

                  This mobile is of no use & is the waste on money ...I am totally unsatisfied with its Display ...as the display is not at all visible in day light under sun ...that to normal day light...while in the same light you can see other company mobiles display for E.g Nokia (i could Differentiate becouse i had experieced with my friends mobile) & recognize who is calling.

                  Also when i m driving my Bike during day time i am not able to recognize whose call is incoming and have to search for some shade or tree so that display would be visible.

                  Would also recommend everybody not to buy LG RD 6600

                  LG states that the mobile is as per Reliance Specification and also the literature mention this.

                  Nowhere it does mention that the display is also metallic and the display would not be visible outdoors.

                  Can someone explain me the logic behind this:

                  Reliance offers Reliance Mobile World, Games and Mobile TV on this model.
                  Is a customer suppose to watch Mobile TV only indoors, play games indoors . Does this not sound ridiculous.
                  Secondly when someone goes to buy a mobile he would not ever think of asking the salesperson as to whether he can take the set outside in sunlight and check . Tomorrow you will come up with a new thing that a mobile can only be used outdoors and not indoors. Does this all make sense. or you would say a mobile cannot be used during rains etc. etc...

                  This becomes a very good case for me to complaint to Consumer courts as detailed below :
                  1. Shoddy product quality
                  2. Unsatisfactory after-sales service
                  3. Right to be informed about the quality and performance of goods and services.

                  CAN I KNOW THE ESCALATION PROCESS..

This makes the instrument unusable outdoors which I feel is ridiculous. I feel that this is a manufacturing defect in the instrument. This mail is a notification of the defect to LG electronics, as the instrument is still in the warranty period. Further the battery discharges very fast. I have been using Nokia, LG and Samsung phones till today and haven't had such a problem. Currently I do have a LG6100 and don't have such a problem. Can this be rectified which I don't think so, If not I would request you to replace the same with some other model of my choice.

                  Yes, Its very true that LD RD 6600 is worst handset ever manufactured ; it has no visibility in daylight ; one has to find some shed or tree to see the call history, read massages etc also camera quality is very poor and many more problem i.e poor gumming of keypad, file transfer via bluetooth.
                  I tried to get the replace mirror screen with transparent white but everywhere including LD Service Centre it was told that it has only reflective type screen.
                  I will advise not to go for LG RD 6600 buying the same is mearly waste of money.

                    I had purchased the above model of color TV from Jhankar Electronics Kidwai Nagar Kanpur(U.P.) on march 2002, with the promise of promt and efficient service as and when required.It costed me Rs.54000.This TV is now under process of repaire for the last two months after too many perssuations and persiverence.Now, finally after too many visits of checking as aresult of too many phone calls to Mr.Ajai, the local autharized service manager of LG and Mr.S.N.Singh, the area manager, told me that this TVcnnot be repaired as the cercuit has damaged and is not available in any LG workshops.
                    So, how these efficient LG service engineers opted to dump this as it has served the purpose.
                    I wonder as why the LG could not get the place in Guiness Book for, the only company in the world probably which does not manufacture spare parts for such a costly product.
                    Similar was my experience with LG fully automatic front loading washing machine that I had to dump within 2/3 yrs of service only.
                    I am, afriad, how this complaint will serve my purpose or my fellow customers as well.

                      I had bought a tv last year and it has a manufacturing falt since i purchased it. I had been giving regular complaints against it. I had sued a mail against this issue to LG electronics three monthsago but i didnt get any responce from the company. The area manager alwasy tells me the problem will be sotted out soon. Previously i was told that the product has not been replaced due to diwali rush, Then there was another excuse other month now last week he told me my tv would be replaced by[protected] but there is no solution yet. For a refrence my recent request id was N8CA3004046 and I ensure if my complaint is not handeled urgently soon this request id will become a complaint id.
                      So, I hope you will not compell me to knock consumer courts door.

                        I bought 21" inches LG TV in Nov 2008.

                        It was having big Red Dotted part on Left Top corner.

                        I requested Company's customer care service for looking into it.

                        I registered complaint for 4 times. ( Complaint Numbers: W8CB1701955, W8CB1706766, W8CB1901808, W8CB2000794, W8CB2202189) and their technician came on all request but without calling me in advance. Most irritating part of LG service.

                        But when LG representative came at last visit, he told me that he needs to replace my TV as its having some major problem.

                        I bought a new 26" LED TV which has a problem that it get hang and teh volume goes to 0 and all the buttons of remote as well as all teh buttons of TV set stops working and finally i have to switch off the main power and then switch it on.

                          I have given complaint on 12.12.08 for demo, LG customer people registered the complaint and they are given their technician number. When we called that number they told that I am in leave, then I informed to LG customer care. Once again they are given same number. Till date no one attend the Demo.

                          This worst service I am not seen before. If I know this type service I never purchase and never suggest to my friends & colleagues for this LG Product.

                              I have perchase LG refrigerator model no. LG GL 325TMG - STEEL of 310 Ltr. on 31/10/2008. M/S Kings Electronics Panvel give me delivery on 07/11/2008. On 28/11/2008 it is found that the refrigerator is not working, after complaint service engineer came on 05/11/2008 and repaired. But on 07/11/2008 again it is not working.After complaint often and visited on 12/11/2008, the service engineer came on 14/12/2008 & repair it with replacement of some parts, & started it.But again on next day i.e. on 15/12/2008 it was found that it is not working. Immedietely I complaint to Kings Elecronics panvel.Within one month the new refrigerator not working three times, So I want a new piece insted of that faulty piece.

                                  I bought refrigerator with below details -

                                  Model # 265TMG4
                                  Unit Serial # 810NLEK006892
                                  Date of Purchase 16.11.08
                                  Warranty 5 years

                                  And I was given a booklet that says - "7 year warranty applicable and valid on purchases of all refrigerators between 15.09.2008 to 31.12.2008. Conditions apply."

                                  I asked dealer do I also get 7 yr warranty, he said "yes, LG will give you extended warranty at the time of installation"; and athe time of installation I was told that "The dealer will give this extended warranty".

                                  I called up Service number[protected] and spoke at length, a person supposedly in lead role, named Kaushik told me that since it is a service center they cannot do anything, even logging a complaint and I was provided with a[protected], supposedly a branch office number, pas two weeks I'm ringing this and no one picks it up.

                                  Next today (13th Dec, 08) again I called up at 12:00 PM and spoke to atleast 4 persons including Ahmad from Koramagla Branch and Shekhar from Bangalore; even though my repeated pleadings no complaint was logged and I've been verbally promised that someone will get in touch with me next week.

                                  Request you to suggest what action should I take in order to -
                                  1. get two years extended warranty on the refrigerator
                                  2. get compensation towards money and time spent following this up
                                  3. get compensation of mental trauma I and my family have gone thru

                                    dear sir,
                                    i am using LG KG300 for 2 years. but from few days i suffered with a virus which is making duplicate .EXE files and original folders will be hiddened. plz recomend me 1 antivirus which is suitable for removing virus from my mobile. thanking U.

                                      I have purchased a LG CTV 20D33KE/36VE/20D3RGE/GOLDERN EYE M from Hindustan distributors B-1027, 100 Ft Road Hardevpuri, Shahdara, Delhi-110093 on 26.11.2008 Rs.6000.00 on full and final cash payment in the name of Anuj Shukla R/o B-201 Street no-7 Jagatpuri, Delhi-110093. From 06.12.2008 my television not working there are no speeker nor picture appear on the scene. In this refrence I have a lodge a complain no. N8CC0605826 on 06.12.2008 and your Engineer visited my resident C/o Rajiv Automobiles A-6, 100ft Road North Chhajjupur, Shahdara Delhi and engineer advised me that my television have major defects and it may be replace within 4 days.

                                      Now already 7 days already passed but neither your reprentative nor your engineer visited to my home, and no any call I have found from your side. After your long wait I make various call to your office phone no.[protected], [protected] Mr Deepak Jain and mobile no.[protected], [protected] Mr Sunil to know latest position of our television replacement. But this is profound painful to me I have not find any reply from your side.

                                      Keeping this view once again I request you to make the needful and replace my television at the earliest.

                                        we have lg washing machine front loading modle ie tromma. AS at the time lg washing machine was best in the market, becuse of the best brand value and best quality . we have purchesed this 3.5years before.

                                        sir we have lunched a complete of pcb not working in the month of september 08. i have never seen the worst service like this. which was send for service on request by us. but pcb was not able repaire said by your representative (mr. manikandan). and we have been informed to replace new pcb which will cost to rs4250/= after discount.

                                        sir, the product which we have bought only to long last to us. but pcb quality is not upto that mark. so please i request u to replace it or whatever discount, if not please take washing machine
                                        back and give us amount what ever its. we are waiting to see our washing machine work and give us satisfactory for what we have choosen.for the past three month we are waiting.

                                        My name is Arun (from Ernakulam, Kerala) ([protected])

                                        I had bought a LG front loading model (TROMM) 3 years back for around 26000/-. Now the problem with the washing machine is it does not stop running.
                                        For example, if I set the time as 30 minutes, the count down timer will come down till 5 or 6 minutes left and then go back to 12 or 15 minutes.
                                        This will repeat again when the time left reaches 5 or 6 minutes. This means the washing machine will keep on running. I had waited for even 4 to 5 hours for the machine to stop running. But the machine will keep on running and finally I have to turn off the power and take the clothes out.

                                        My understanding is, the issue with the machine is some error in the program. There is no mechanical issues with the machine.
                                        I called up the customer care and logged the complaint. The service guy came home and checked the machine and told that the issue is with the PCB. He told that there is no repair for the PCB and hence the PCB have to be replaced for a price of around 4500/-.

                                        My expectation was that the service guy will re program the machine and the issue will be fixed. It was a surprise for me to know that the solution that the LG service center provide for a program error is to replace the PCB.

                                        Its pathetic that after spending 26000 for a washing machine, I need to spend another 4500 with in 3 years for a minor program error.
                                        I would like to bring into the notice of the authorities and people about the poor quality of the PCB in LG washing machine
                                        and how much the customers are being cheated after spending their money on products like this.
