My wife and I built our home in 2007. By experience and feedback from friends and relatives, we selected LG range of products for our home.

The purchase of all LG products was done in Mumbai from Sumaria and Vijay Sales.

On March 14, 2007, we purchased a 2door side by side refrigerator with water and ice dispenser (details mentioned above)

We were extremely satisfied with the service rendered and the response time on all and every query raised by us until yesterday.

As we believe in marinating our home on a continued basis, we started the marble flooring polishing work at home.

However, as always extra care and caution was taken in covering all electronics at home before the workers started the floor polishing job.

The said refrigerator was also covered with plastic.

After about two hours we were shocked to notice that the doors of the refrigerator had faded colour patches on it, we were shocked amazed and at first couldn’t believe that this was a premium product of a highly reputed brand that we had purchased. The faded colour made us feel that we have purchased a substandard product of LG,

To resolve the issue, we call LG service Centre immediately and post follow up they came and visited our home on Nov 19, 2008 at 6 pm

The engineer claimed that the only solution is to replace the doors which is possible once LG approves the claim or else we would have to bear the cost of replacement.

I strongly believe that the colour faded off for no apparent reason or default from our side, the colour fading is a sign of sub standard material being used.

While I understand that the 1 year warranty period has elapsed, I did not expect that a product of this standard and produced by LG would fade in less than 2 years.

We request you to take immediate action by replacing the door with high quality doors and with no cost to be borne by us.

An early response in this matter will be highly appreciated and will go a long way in rebuilding our faith in your organization

      I hv purchased KG-195 for Internet Browsing. I hv activated GPRS on my mobile on. I not able to start using the internet on my laptop due to Driver Issue. It required 7332 Driver and the same is not provided in the Mobile kit box.

      Plz. suggest asap. whom to contact to get that. Atleast send me the link to download the same.

        I have lodge a complaint with LG. The complain No is N8CC3102363 on 30/12/08. Even on 10/01/09 it has not been ratfied. Subsequent to this i have made a number of call to LG Service centre in LUCKNOW but of no use.

        LG Washing Machine — Not Starting

        I Parmod Kumar Chauhan purchased one LG Washing Machine from V.N.Agencies, Main Najaf Garh Road, Uttam Nagar, New Delhi-110059 on 14.10.2007. and after 11 month on 04 Sep. 2008 it was not starting after triyng at our level we have lodged a complaint to our Dealer M/s V.N.Agencies then we have received our complaint no. N8C90602634 from the LG Services Centre via SMS on 06 Sep 2008, and on 7 Sep 2008 the Engineer from LG came to our home and cheked and told that a part named PCB is damaged and it will be changed tomarrow but inspite of daily reminder it is not replace till 11 Sep 2008. We are very much fed up with serices of LG Product.

        The empathic behavior of your esteemed service centre owner has compelled me to write to you this letter. My LG Washing machine broke down about 10 days back & I lodged the complaint with LG who redirected the instructions to Faridabad Service centre & they picked up the machine for repairs at.

        Who assured to repair it within a couple of days but after three days when I called up they told that they are attending it & will do the needful at the earliest.
        The next day again I called & got the reply” Our workers are in the field, so I can not tell the status, please call tomorrow”.
        The next day I was told that there was less supply of electricity in the area, so we could not do the needful, please call tomorrow.
        The next day they told that due to heavy rains, we could not open the machine, please call tomorrow.
        The next day the pretext was that they do not have the tools & equipments to open it, so it may take more time.
        When I visited myself at the service centre It was lying unattended and since It was covered under the Insurance, the surveyor could not be intimated to go there to check it & get the estimate. Sir, the insurance surveyor can not take the photographs until and unless the machine’s related part is dismantled.
        Two days back it was surveyed by the insurance Company, but ALAS, the parts are not available with your valued service centre.

        Sir, I do not know how such a large Company like LG is handling the after sales services,
        If this is the culture & tradition of LG, I shall be the last person to buy any LG product in life, rather I shall tell all my nearer and dearer the above painful response of LG’s service centers.

        Can the senior top brass be informed about the third grade way of after sales & service machinery appointed by LG.

        I have absolute shock when on calling second time in one day the owner Mr. Ved told “Aap ke saath deal karma to bahut hi mushkil hai.”

        Sir, is it the right way to react to a consumer? Is the customer not required to know the status of his washiung machine which is lying with u for last 10 days? Every one can realize that the washing machine is one of the great necessities of a house hold. Then, should the LG service centre owner behave like that? Is the consumer his worker to whom he talked that way?

        He repeatedly made an excuse saying that the LG Company does not have the spares used for after sale services. Do u know that if even a small part of the above complaint is published in a national news paper, the LG may come to an earth the same day?

        Kindly tell your service centre owner Mr. Ved to return my machine to me as it is, I shall sell it to a scrap dealer & will buy the other brand new machine from other company whuich I have tested & found satisfactory in the past. This is the first LG appliance I tried and had a terrible experience.

          I purchased LG combo writer GSA-H55N before 6 months. At first it was working fine but for the past 2 months it got bad. That is, its able to read CD's and DVD's but the problem is with writing. It does not perform the writing job. I have loads of data to be backed up. But due to this I fear that i may loose my valuable data.

          Please provide me the best solution for this problem.

          i have purchased LG DVD-RW from bootcom computers zone-1 bhopal.If the dvd-rw is connected to the system the system dosent work properly.i have already complaint it to bootcom computers and it is repaired three times by the bootcom computers.

            Sir/Madam,

            I had purchased a Poratable DVD from LG .When a disc is put in side, it shows "ERROR". The product had been given to Alappuzha service centre and same was repaired and given back to me after one month .After two days the DVD was making some noise, when i checked it there was 15 screws missing from the DVD player .When i went back to service centre, they said they will send the screws by hand of Service technician .But when i called him with regard, he said he has no idea about the same .He also said I will not get it .When i had communicated the same to customer care, they said that they cant help and the manner they spoke was very rude .

            I request you to please provide the"Original screws "else provide with new DVD player

              Dear Sir,

              First of all I am very much thankful to you and your department who stands with customers who are become frustrated with the product and services provided by branded companies in India.

              I am also a frustrated man who purchased one 29” CTV Flat with brand name LG from LG showroom at Pal electronics, Roorkee on 19.10.2007. This CTV became problematic after few days as explained below:

              First Problem: Picture width Problem.

              It was told at that time that this is a cable problem to be solved after some times. This was really not a problem of cable and hence not solved. Then the CTV was sent to LG service centre for repair.

              1st time Service Centre: CTV kept there for 10 days and setting adjusted and problem rectified at that time

              This problem rectified but after three months the same problem occurred again

              Then the words of service engineer were it is good that CTV worked in OK condition for at least three months. ( Kam se kam teen mahine to tv thhek chala na.). I was fully depressed with his answer. No solution I found there. Then a long requests to the LG service centre again CTV was sent to service centre when I told them if you are not going to take any action then I will go to consumer court.

              2nd time Service centre: CTV kept for another 10 days and motherboard (Chassis) was replaced. Then Width problem removed but other problem occurred as:


              Second Problem: No uniform movement of scroll of news headlines in below of the news channels.

              Copy of job sheet is available with in which .I have given a written comment of not satisfaction on 24.10.2008. The same will be sent to you if required.

              This problem is not yet solved and many service engineers have visited in my home. But all in vain.

              Then this CTV was again sent to their service centre.


              3rd time Service centre: CTV kept for 4 days and service engineer and R&D person at Dehradun satisfied me saying that alternate part (Chessis) was used in place of original one. Hence this problem not solved and only original chessis will be used now.

              Then LG R &D engineer visited at service centre but did not change any component. Only setting adjusted. Hence the problem remained the same. R& D service engineer also agreed with this problem and he promised me that he will write a comment that this problem is not solved yet.

              I have 1 year plus 2 years additional warranty but still these people are not treating me well now and not rectifying my problem. I have called many times at Dehradun wasting my money but I am not getting any positive response from their side.

              I have requested many times to replace my current CTV being so much problematic but they people are not interested to replace it.


              Now, I am fully frustrated and request you to take necessary action against LG and provide me new OK CTV now from LG. I want only replacement and not any setting adjustment or part replacement.


              I shall be very much thankful to you for this act of kindness.

                I have purchased LG 1 ton split AC, power rating 5, in the month of November 2008. The LG company sent people from Bhushan Electronics to install the split AC. During their installation they broke the front silver screen panel of my AC. I noticed this after 10 days time and complaint about the same, but Bhushan Electronics kept postponing the matter and finally registered my complaint after nearly 20 days. They collected the purchase receipt copy too.
                When I called back they said you registered complain with us after 20 days of the installation and so we cannot replace the front screen panel. I complained about the same with LG customer service center twice, but no heed is paid till now.
                Both the company as well as the service centers are now denying to replace the screen.
                Kindly help me resolve this, I have spent nearly Rs. 31000/- towards purchasing and installation.

                During the installation u should have to remain and assisting them.
                Then only u could realize the fault.

                  LG CUSTOMER SERVICE IS WORST .FORGET ABOUT THE SERVISE, THE COMPANY EVEN NOT HAVING THE PROPER PERSONs TO INTERACT WITH CUSTOMERS . OUR MONITOR IS NOT WORKINH FROM 2 MONTHS BUT NO ONE DID BOTHER ABOUT IT

We were calling Service Engineer of(LG) Satara, Mr Sandeep Khamkar from that date. He came on 24th of Nov, & took away the monitor saying that some part of it has been damaged & need to be replaced. He didn't give us any kind of response & whenever we use to call him he didn't bother to receive the call or even if received he use to give us any stupid reason .Afterwords he gave me contact No. of Santosh Dhuri to contact for having exact details, that person also gave us same treatment.In the last weak he returned us the monitor as it is without repairing & he said as soon as the part will come, I will fit into your minitor, it will not more than 2 days . But he didn't come . & now whenever I call him, he says you will get your monitor in good condition tomorrow, I have sent the part to your place, service engineer will come & will repair it . But service engineer is saying that no any kind of part has reached to me till now. I called to Customer Service Centre Delhi also . Evreryone says you will get service dont worry, for every time but we have not received any kind of response till now Sandeep Khamkar is saying "apko jo samzana hai samzlo" Now what to do .                       Dear sir,

                      Please note that my fridge have some problem and not cooling continuously. After avery 15 mins some kit kit sound starts and stops cooling. For this I booked complaint in your service centre two times once in August and next just some days back. Both the time a service technician came and replaced some relay and thermostat but still the problem is existing the same condition however I was charged for the parts and service.

                      Why should I pay if my problem is existing in the same condition?

                      Now you are kindly requested to do the needfull for permanent remedy.

                          THESE DAYS I AM FEELING THAT TO BUY A LG PRODUCT IS A VERY FOOLISH DECISION BECAUSE THEY DO NOT CARE AFTER SALE SERVICE.

                          I have made 2 complaints to LG customercare through request id S8CC2200839 on 22/12/08, S8CC2404902 on 24/12/08.

                          Engineer came to me and told that Gas will be filled up. But the gas is still not filled up till 27/12/08 while they promise us to get the same resolved by 24 hours. To avoid any kind of escalation they are creating other request id so that 24 hr deadline can not be challenged. The example for the same is that I got the SMS on 26th that they created anoter request id S8CC2605392 for the same problem on 26/12/08 without asking me.

                          Customercare has given the mob no of engineer alloted for the problem. Whenever I call him he says that he is in meeting and will call me back. Now he is not taking my calls.

                          Whenever I try to make the complaint to the customer care executives they said they will look into the matter. Till now I have made atleast 50 calls to customer care centre but no result.

                          Please let me know what should I do now.

                          This is the worst company service have ever seen.

                          After buying product worth 60, 000 odd dealer doesnt have a proper service number/nether the number given in the product manual pick up... still my problem is not resolved after a month and my gaurantee is over before two days... Going thru tortuers calling these idiotic service ( NEVER GO FOR LG PRODUCTS IN YOUR LIFE ) IF SOME ONE CAN SHARE THE HIGHER OFFICER CONTACT NO/ EMAIL ID TO ESCALATE THIS WOULD BE HELFUL... HAVE ALSO RAISED A COMPALAINT IN CONSMER COURT

                            Myself Nimisha Gupta bought a LG Semi Automatic Washing Machine (WP-1021S) from store CROMA (12/7 Main Mathura Road NH-2 Faridabad) whose serial number is 808NLAM027256 on 02 Oct 2008. After using the machine twice I come to know that the machine is torning one or more clothes in washing. I had made the same complaint to Croma as well as LG. Initailly LG people told us that we have mishandled the machine. We should remove all the hooks from the clothes before washing which is just ridiculous as they were blaming us. Since we are educated people and we know very well how to operate the washing machine. When I forced them then they send another engineer to our place and then that engineer informed us that the pulsator of the machine is down because one of the vicer was cut. He changed the vicer and asked us to use the machine once more. Again I have used the machine and it again torned my new clothes in a very bad way. When I asked them to replace the machine and give me the refund of the clothes which were damaged then these people simply denied. They are neither willing to change the defected machine nor paying for my damaged clothes. We have visited the store CROMA couple of times but every time they creates a new story. When I said them that I will go to consumer court then they simply said go to the court. I am really frustrated with the behaviour and attitude of the concerned people from LG and Tata Croma.

                            Kindly look into the issue.

                              I dont want any type of dialer tone in my LG reliance handset
                              my handset is creating much problem I had send one message to the person but the same message is going more than 50 times the reciever is telling me that dont do messages to me but it is too much rediculous for me I was surprised by this type of problem in all reliance hansets

                                Hi

                                I had bought LG refrigerator last year in october.
                                On this there is a one year warranty.

                                2 months back I had complained that my frige is not cooling and it is producing a lot of heat on the back side.(With in warranty period)

                                The LG people had adviced me through phone that stop the fridge for a day and on it again.At that moment I dont know that there is some serious problem going on .

                                For the next two months the power bill had quadrapuled.

                                Than I put a thought in to it and found that the frigde had gone wrong and it is consuming a lot of power.

                                Again I had complained and this time they came and checked and found that some parts of fridge are damaged.

                                Now the warranty period is over.

                                I had to pay the service charges and charges for parts.

                                This is because of the poor service by the company and their advice.

                                For LG information I am most loyal customer to LG as I had bought TV, AC, FRIDGE and DVD all LG and now I regret .

                                This has happened even though LG boasts about its service and warranty.

                                  I would not even dream to realize that L.G. (LOW GRADE) product will prove it’s worth so accurately and so is LG’S whole team of customer care management. They truly represent the three monkeys of Gandhiji e.g. never see the customer’s grievances, never listen to their complaints and never answer their queries.
                                  However, it is my duty to bring this fact once again to your notice so that you may buy time to mend it before the irreparable damage could harm the past proven reputation of your once prestigious company.
                                  I purchased the LG’s Flatron CT29Q14NP model from Jhankar Electronics, Kidwai Nagar, Kanpur (U.P.) in the march 2002.for Rs.54000. may be a meager amount for you, with the hope that it will serve me faultlessly for at lest a decade, which was the case with my previous ONIDA CTV which is still working well even after 20 yrs. I am virtually cursing the moment and the person who suggested me to buy LG products. I, firstly, fell prey to his advice and bought the Front Loading Fully Automatic Washing Machine. Now, my dear, you will not believe that this washing machine really washed away my peace and the purse equally well within only 2-3ys, of service. You know, sir, the handsome money I spent on it was equally divided by the cell phone service providers and your efficient service staff so much so that, finally, I had to get rid of it.
                                  Secondly, I purchased the above TV in the same row, which is under process of repair for the last 2/3 months, after about hundreds of calls so far. I am afraid is there any nexus between your people and cell phone service providers. Now, after 3-4 visits by different peoples, they finally revealed that the circuit kit is damaged and the ear marked kit of this “old model” is not available any where in LG workshops.
                                  I wonder, that LG would probably, the company in the world that is so confident about it’s product’s performance that it does not manufacture spare parts .Wow, don’t you think that this unique quality of your company qualifies for the entry in Guinness Book?
                                  My endeavor, here, to warn you that if this state of affairs will continue and some stern actions are not taken in due time, I doubt you will not be able to save it to meet the fate of “TITANIC”.

                                  LG FLATRO TV 29 INCHES — BIG TV OFFER NOT YET GIVEN SINCE I HAVE PURCHASED LG 29 INCH TV.

                                  I had purchased LG FLATRON (29inches) tv fro BIG bazar (mysore karnataka on 25.10.08. For which i had been told there is a big tv offer for this only 700 rupees have to be paid towards installation charges.After somany visits and followups and lots of mobile calls a big ty coupan card was given after exhactly one month.Big baza people ask me to call big tv customer care and register for the offer. but as per customer care the offer date was finishedand they told theat ofeer is not there. then again i called big bazar, they took the coupan no but till today after several reminders, offer havebeen not given .bigbazar people blame on lg company and lg company blame on relience big tv company.in middle what happened to the offer? why i should wait for that? what is the meaning of offer.Will they wait if i pay the amount delay???????????.relience big tv such a big name with cheap customer care quality and delay in service and offers so hard to digest these things.big tv is equal to a big big hat thats all.now tell me hy i have to pay 700 s ? i will not..pay. let bigbazar people and lg company or relience big tv people pay for me for giving such a long waiting offer(big hat on head).

                                  lg television 29 inches — repairs

                                  I had complained regarding malfunctioning of the said TV. I was directed to get in touch with Atlantic Buisness Centre, Industril Area Ph II, Chandigarh. On visiting their service centre I found that the so called centre was located in a junk dump with little and no infrastructure.The techanician who handled my TV was equilly ill trained and had no clue. Request visit the service centre and review the location, other wise your company may get a bad name.

                                  I have encountered a similar problem like yours. I had a very good opinion about LG, and for that reason, even the mobile i purchased was LG.
                                  But my experience remains different. I had bought a LG 25 inches TV Model RF 25CA40 - Marquis Golden Eye - at Jainsons, Tiruchirappalli during 2001 Dec. All was well, till September 2009. During September 2009, the TV was not able to get on. I gave a complaint at the Service centre and the same was rectified on 12 Oct.09. The service engineer replaced a IC - D2499 and charged Rs.454. In the next 12 days, the TV did not get on, with the same problem.

                                  We called the service centre again and registered a complaint on 26.10, 2009 - S9CA2602741. A few days later the same service engineer came, and he took the circuit with him to get it repaired. There was a long silence. After repeated calling, the engineer came and said that the part is not available, and will be rectified after getting it. After a few days, he came home with the circuit and tried to rectify the problem. But he failed to get it on again, and he said, that he has to take it back to the centre and get the fault repaired there again. He left again with the circuit and again there was a long silence from that end. Our phone calls were also not attended by the engineer. In the mean time, he called me one day and said that he has left the job with LG Service centre and was doing private service.

                                  Till 28.12.2009 there was a long silence from the service centre and on 28th December . In the mean time, the service engineer came home and handed over the circuit, saying that the spare part is not available anywhere, not even in Chennai. "So you can have the TV with you. I have quited the job from LG service centre". So my LG TV is lying idle at my home.
                                  Today, i called up the local service centre to register a complaint again, where theY advised me to book a register again with[protected]. where they will again attend to my TV.

                                  But for the past three months, my LG TV stays idle.

                                  I do not know where to complaint again.

                                      I had purchased a LG 37" LCD TV from Amit Enterprises, Sarojini Nagar, Delhi.

                                      When the sealed carton was opened the cover panel which is used to cover the slots for table stand was of 32" LCD and so was the remote, which is common to both the models.

                                      The engineer asked us to approach the dealer. The dealer kept the 32" cover with him and assured us to deliver a new one from the company within two days.

                                      After a week, on enquiry, the company asked us to contact the dealer. Since the last 1 1/2 months, we are shuttling between the dealer and the company but to no avail.

                                      Forget the warranty service, the company and its dealers are not able to provide a complete product. That also in the high end segment where the TV cost us Rs 60, 000/-. I am left with no option but to take the company to the consumer court and ask them to take their TV back and refund my complete payment. I will like to deal with a more responsible company.

                                        This is in ref to a DVD player we purchased on 15th March 2008 from the CSD store at Colaba, Mumbai. The player has developed major problems ever since. We did lodge a complaint with the LG service center. The customer compalaint cell is the worst we have come across. They neither understand the problem nor do they know how to rectify them. A service engineer came home and replaced certain parts ( CDM and MPEG cards) and it was working for a day. The next day the same problem recurred. The engineer visited again and went back saying he would need to come back and change the lens. He never came back.

                                        We have been trying to get in touch with LG ever since but there is absolutely no response. It has been a nightmare delaing with people at LG.

                                        I would like to get the problem replaced. Please do let us know how to go about it. Product details are:
