[Resolved]  LG LCD — Delay in delivery with foulty product, replaced product after 5 days of folo up

LG / dealer(surya electronic) have delivered faulty product (I placed order on 14th feb with payment to dealer and received product after lot of follow-up after 4-5 day’s)
And now for replacement also LG saying that I have to wait because your(LG) vehicle is scheduled on weekly basis? Why should I wait for your comfort / timings?

Mr. Richard,

I have purchased product from Dealer located in PCMC area, not from Pune area. Now I don’t’ know from where you / Dealer deliver product from Pune or any were else.
I have nothing to do about this. What I know is I have paid money to buy the product, so now it’s Company’s responsibly to deliver it in time and in good shape..

It says prompt response after sales service. You you’re self check if you stands any where near to your company policy?


Your vehicle come to PCMC area on particular time that is your problem not my.

Why should customer suffer because of this?

I tried to call you on Phone no given in your signature[protected] today but unable to connect through EPBX sys at your end.

I spoke to Mr Richard about replacement of LCD
He gave me excuse that his delivery vehicle comes to Pimpari-Chinchwad area only twice a week so he will not deliver it till Friday?
I was asking him to deliver it by tomorrow.
It looks like any thing will happens LG will not do any thing beyond there routine process..
Here Customer care is nothing but costumer harassment.

I make mistake of buying your product and will not purchase any product from LG

Today LG service engineer visited my home for inspection of LCD and unable to resolve the fault in LCD.
I spoke to Your Branch Service Manger Mr. Richard Ravi Prasad and told him to replace the LCD with new one.

He told me that he will check available stock and will replace it.

>From day one I am facing problem from purchasing to delivery and now the product you send is faulty.

This is my first time I have changed my Brand from Sony to LG and disappointed with dealer serves, company service and quality of product.

I hope company will take quick action and will replace my LCD ASAP.

LCD — No delivery till now

I have purchase a LCD and a Home Theatre on 27.09.2008 and the same were to be delivered on 01.10.2008 but after my several reminder and sending my man in person to Noida, Great India Place, till now LCD has not been installed. I am fad up with them and going to ask my legal advisor to file a case with Consumer Court. Please advise. My phone no. is [protected]. LG — Faulty LCD and worst service

This is to bring notice to you about how bad services are being provided by Lg team in Delhi.

I purchased an 42’ inches LCD which was defective from the day it was installed by engineer. I asked for the replacement and it was told that it would be done in 2 to 4 days timeframe. After couple of days when I called again then one person said that we do not have a copy of bill so once it is collected. I kept calling this gentleman and he said that person would reach somewhere in afternoon. When he did not reach by evening, I called him again and he said this person is in Janakpuri and would be reaching in short while. That person did not reach at all on 18th.

I then followed it up by calling call centre executive who just gave the numbers for branch incharge and ask me to get in touch with him. Then one of the supervisor told me that he would call me back after getting information from branch incharge. He did not call me. Once again I called him up and then only he spoke to branch incharge and told me that this LCD would be replaced surely by Monday.

After following up several times they said that they don't extra peice for that particular model so they would refund the money. I told them that I don't want refund and if it can be exchanged with other high end model. They agreed to it on a condition that I need to pay the differential amount which was fine with me. Later date when they were to do delivery i was told that they don't have the latest model and it would not be delivered to me for maybe 15 days.

I had a talk with Area Incharge and he said he would call me back with the details in another 10 minutes but did not receive any.

these guys talk big on customer care but this is one of the horrible companies on Customer relation.

I have purchased a colour television Of LG Model No: 21SA1, on 2 August 2009 . But on 21 September 2009 . while doing the OFF its ON/OFF Button got broken from inside. I called the Customer Care and they send their Executive . But after analysing it he said "its button suport from inside got broken so u have to change th whole OUTER BODY and for this u have to Pay. Becuse plastic doesnot come under warrenty. But the thing is that if a ON/OFF button got broken in a short period while doing simple ON-OFF, what does it mean...
1. Plastic used is not good. OR

They tried to change the enitire module, control board but they failed. Undersigned requests for a replacement of the TV.

This mail is to inform that I am very disappointed with the LG LCD. I had purchased LCD in May-09 and in Oct-09 I was facing problem that the LCD after some time went blank (No display and Volume). LG service engineer came for repair and said some part costing 4000 need to be replaced.
Since it was under warranty it was replaced free of cost. However given the LG brand this kind of problem was not expected from LG.

Again in Aug-10 hardly 10 months from the last complaint my LCD after some time start blinking and it goes Blank (No display only volume)

I am upset and disappointed with my decision of going with LG LCD.

LG India — Long delay in serving a complaint

Hi ,
I would like to register a complaint regarding the shoddy service which LG India provides. I have a AMC for a 1 Ton Split AC and everytime i register a complaint the call is dragged for over 2 to 3 weeks. Each week a new engineer visits the place and does a R&D. They have no stocks and supplies in their regional support center. I am planning to sell my LG Split AC and would like to buy from some other vendor Samsung or Whirlpool.

My experience with LG India is horrible. I will give a thumbs down to thier products and most of all their shoddy service.

The problem is that we start the C, C++ on PC the Displays goes out . then I replaced another LG LCD 20”, 18.5” & 16” the it run properly on same PC. Then I complaint to LG service centre Complaint No C[protected] dated 28.08.10 then Co. Engineer Mr. Kulkarni come and see the problem & advice to send the LCD to Ahmendnagr service centre, I done it. Then I time to follow up with Ahmendnagr service centre with Mr. Sudake, , Arun Sanagale Mob. [protected] etc. then I also follow up with Mr. Ajay Taiwal [protected] time to time. I also give another complaint C[protected] dated 9.9.10 . In between those day customer daily comes to my shop ask about LG LCD due that reason I then give him my personal LCD to him for use.
What is my mistake? Is that I always preference to sale LG product?, I have nothing to do about this. What I know is I have paid money to buy the LCD, so now it’s Company’s responsibly take quick action & also take action service centre & its staff and hope Co. will replace the faulty LCD

LG — Delay in delivery

I had booked a washing machine from "Adishwar India Limited LG Shop". They had promised to give me delivery before 3PM 13th Jan.
Even after calling multiple times to the showroom there is no good response from the people and they are not even telling me when I will get the delivery. ALl I get is we are reaching in 10 minutes ind of answers.

Today your area service manager (Mr Manish [protected]) visited my home...as my request was for replacement of this faulty product but still he insisted me to keep the same LCD even its defective and was not agree with the report filled by installlation engineer...So my LCD is having a wooble in side pannel which can not be removed by your engineer...so what should i do...should i complain in CONSUMER COURT as i have paid for a new product and i got a defective repaired product...is this kind of service LG INDIA give to its coustomers...kindly replace my LCD or else i have to go for some legal action against your company.
