I mohd rafiq, had purchased a lg flat slim model no 29fg2rge ctv on 12th january, 2008 from ajanta electronics, sakinaka, mumbai. The tv was faulty having patches which on complaint the dealer got it replaced but the replaced tv too consisted of the same problem which then the dealer forwarded to the company.


A technician was sent from the company who visited my place and adjusted some yoke in the tv which was of no use and indeed the patches increased to the worst .Then the tv got replaced by the company on 12th february, 2008.The replaced tv had the same problem on which i asked for a senior engineers assistance, to which a technician mr rajbhar visited and said that he would send his senior to see the problem .A senior engineer mr. Singh visited my place after 2-3 days and to my surprise he explained me the difference between a mercedes car and a maruticar .It was really great to know that you have people who can explain such things rather than what their work is, he assured and promised me of inquiring whether the same problem occurs in other tvs and would call me, but he dint returned even a call.
The other technician i.E. Mr rajbhar said to me that your tv is cheap therefore it has such low picture quality which he said in front of the dealer. Is it that you make big promises about your globally renowned products that are said to be best in class and of the highest quality which your own technicians consider to be a cheap product.
Now i too think that your senior engineer and technician were correct about the quality of your product.
By now i am fed up of your cheap quality of service and product .I even called up the mumbai branch manager mr. Ankur joshi (Mobile no. [protected]) on 11th april, 2008 who assured me of returning back a call for a feedback and said that, "i know my job". And now even after 4 days i understand how much he knows about his job and on what basis lg appoints responsible people that too in customer services.
I am totally frustrated and exhausted by this sort of irresponsible and irritable behaviour of your technicians, senior engineer, service manager and dealer.The dealer even insist me on getting other brands. You make big promises about the quality charter, your customer services, responses and quality products and even the 6 sigma's.
At the end i would like to say that i want a refund in a week or else i would to my dissatisfaction would hav to go to consumer guidance society and other such organisation to put a light on your customes services and your commitment to excellence and quality as mentioned in your advertisements and booklets.
I hope to notice some response or action as soon as possible

LG LCD 22ld310 — Not proper coordination in LG & LOTUS

Hi,
I have bought 1 LG LCD 22LD310 on 10th feb 2011 from Lotus,Indore.According to lotus 1 TATA sky DIGI kit is free from LG side.But they have not kit on buying time and tell me they will provide me with in 3-4 days.Till now not proper response from Lotus.Yesterday I take follwup again,But they want more than 1 week but not give me proper date .According to Lotus,LG is not provide them kit.
Without kit my TV is only show piece for me.
I can't understand why company making offer plan.

LG DVD Writers — BAD/NO SERVICE

I am a dealer in Udupi, I had given 3 LG DVD Writers for service centre in Udupi;
1) Model GH22NPZ0 bearing Sl.no.910HUMW100043 DT.01/07/2010
2) Model GH22NS50 bearing Sl.no.004HUBC210933 DT.10/07/2010
3) Model GH22N850 bearing Sl.no.004HUFL210931 DT. 18/12/2010

UNTIL TODAY NONE OF MY DRIVE REPAIRED OR RETURNED BACK.EVERYTIME I ASK THEY SAY NO BUFFER STOCK AVAILABLE?. ISTHIS THE KIND OF SERVICE WE ARE GETTING FROM LG!!!.PLEASE LOOK INTO THE MATTER IMDTLY .

LG — Poor Quality Products

I had bought new LG 29 inch Color Televison from Vijay Sales on Oct 2009.

Just after 15 months of purchase Picture Tube worth Rs 9000 is gone. This is quality provided by LG just after their warranty period elasped their product gets damaged

i agree the quality of lg is pathetic, i bought a 42 led but it developed display problems within 11 months
although my waranttee is there lg has been giving me the run around for four months from november one mr . prashant tried to suggest that i should shell out 18000 / - to get service .
i told him it is not only a matter of warrantee but is is a case of defective product . by the way lg has discontinued the model after 4 months of launch, i wonder how many of these defective sets were sold to poor indian buyers

i have purchased LCD 26" TV on 04.11.2010 having model no. 26LD340, srno 010LPMP011819. Before lodging mine complaint, i want to putforth my humble request that i have purchased every consumer durables from LG only and never before i have come accross any problem related to services or quality of the product.

My LCD as detailed above is having peculiar problem and it leaks oil where speaker is fitted. regarding this i have lodged complaint through toll free no [protected] and i got complaint no.[protected] dt 13.02.2011 and i was assured services within 24 hours but of no avail. again i contacted and i was reassured the services within next 24 hours.
sir, after elapse of nearly 96 hours after registering my complaint, i could not get any significant response from your side resulting sorting out of the problem. i, therefore, request you to kindly look into the matter and keep my confidence alive with the seasoned company like yours.

LG LCD Model Lh 20 — Sub Standard Poor Quality Product

I had bought an LG LCD (LH20 model) an year and a half back inspired by the tall claims that LG provides the best of the services. Just three months after the (first year) free warranty got over, the TV panel started showing the picture in single color switching from one to other (From Pink to Yellow to Green to Red). I suspected that there must have been some circuit issue and lodged a complaint (RNA[protected] with the LG service supposedly the best.

Service Engineer comes within the promised 24 hours, informs that the panel needs to be changed which would cost me 39% of the TV cost. This was a shock in the first place as we have never had any voltage issues at home. Still suspecting it to be the cause, I enquired to the engineer on the possible cause of the panel damage in just over an year, in order to prevent this from happening again. On this I was simply suggested to stay away from LG LCD and LED TVs as there were no issues with its handling but rather it is the product quality delivered to the customers which has been compromised and is usually substandard now. This, coming from an LG engineer, who is employed by the company was the second shock to me. I was suggested to continue buying the warranty if I wished to avoid similar costs going ahead and was assured that the panel may again need a replacement in a similar time frame. The warranty charges are 10% of the cost per year.

Anyways the engineer informs me, he would come back with the panel to replace it. 10 days pass by and never heard from him. On one out of the dozen attempts to reach him I get to know that the panel is not available and I need to check with the supervisor if I am in a hurry. I try to reach the supervisor and after showing some urgency and concern, the supervisor finally shows some mercy on me and sends his engineers with the panel which is replaced at a hefty cost. Once they have left, I notice that there are huge scratches not very visible, on the new panel to my disappointment, running from bottom to top of the screen. Although they are not affecting the picture quality but the can be easily seen when the TV is off. Can now hardly do anything as I have already paid for the change.

I know I am out of warranty and cannot claim on the cost incurred but just wished to warn people planning to buy LG products on what the engineer's sugest on their own company's product. These products specially Flat Panel TVs are substandard and low quality parts in branded clothes sold to customers at premium just to fool them and mint money out of the same. Its their way of assuring their continuous income by selling warranties and AMCs to customers as customers can legally do nothing besides opting for the warranties. Even if you take the best of measures to avoid the panel malfunctions you wouldn't be as they are built to last long. Not my words but what the LG engineers suggested. So all I wished to suggest in this note is if you wish to go for LG flat panel TVs, please base your decesion on my experience that the expected lifetime of the TV panels are not more than 1.5 to 2 years. Would suggest brands with longer warranties to be opted instead. I learnt it hard way. Hope you don't have to.

LG Gw 620 Cell Phone — Defect Device

I had purchased the above handset from one of your distributor Anupam Stationery Superstore Pvt. Ltd on 17th July 2010 herein referred to as Seller

Right from beginning the handset has not been in good working condition. When we informed Seller about the same they told we need to change our Sim card as it is compatible with new SIM card. We changed the same

Still handset was not functioning to which when addressed to the Seller they informed us that we have to get software upgraded from LG service center.

We had got this piece upgraded and yet the handset is not working....Later when we gave the piece for servicing, with below problems after almost more than 2 weeks I was given a handset, which is not mine....I have been given some one else's handset.....how am i supposed to use this as I an unsure what defect that piece has

Problems faced:
• Phone hangs up and stops functioning
• Internet browser not working properly
• Cannot configure Office mails on this cell, it keeps giving system error
• Camera is not clear
• When an incoming calls, when I pick up the phone from table it gets disconnected
• Even after charging well, the battery dies fast
• USB cord was not given. When once I had asked at Service center for cord even at Extra Cost but the same was not available. How are we to transfer data
• No back up option for Saving Contacts on SIM card

This cell shows loads of features, but I cannot use even the Basic Ones, how can one use all the other stuff

LG Washing Machine Tromm 5.5 Kg — No response from the local service

LG make washing machine TROMM 5.5 Kg was aciedentally fallen and control pannel was short circuited due to leakage of water as reported by the company service man. He took the complaint about 3 months back, till date service people either will not attend tha call or if attended , after hearing the whole episode, they give a replay that wiat for another couple of days to get the spares. They never say when it will be rectified/ repaired.

LCD LG 32ld345 — I didn't receive free offers

I S Vinod Kumar bought LG LCD 32LD345 TV at Bajaj Electronics, punjagutta, Hyderabad on[protected]. I was paid cash Rs. 2500/- and 2500 through credit card. They said, at present we are having an offer that this TV cost is only 25000/- + No delivery charges+ one Tata Sky Activation Card free for 3 months subscription. But what they did they delivered it after 3 days with delivery charges and still i didn't receive tata sky activation card[protected]. Please tell me your valuable suggestions and how can I take the action

LG — Poor Service & no response to complaints registered thru' customer complaints

I own LG AC , Model LWA/8E/N1, unit Serial Number 603 NLAM000752. Date of purchase is[protected] from Agarwal Electricals, Mathura. After my transfer from Mathura to Panipat sme was installed and commissioned. But since last year September 2010 onwards, the AC is giving hot air instead of cold air. I have called customer care numerous times. Each time complaint is registered but no technicial / engineer is coming to attend the problem.

Last I had called on 3rd March 2011at phone number[protected].

The response on follow up I get is that my residence at Room no. 82, Narmada Hostel, Panipat Refinery Township, Panipat-132140 is too far away from Panipat City.

The guarantee of my equipment will be ending on[protected] and I think LG service engineers are trying to shirk their responsibility till end of guarantee period.

LG Microwave Oven — Very poor customer service.

this complain is for my lg microwave oven which was registered on 3rd march and till date i have not heard anythin from lg. Inspite of callin so many times i was just informed someone will contact me within 24hrs every single day. I was transferred to the manager the escalation team and also the local lg people and each and everyone failed to help. Promises and broken so easily here tat tat a 15mins call back promise is never done instead when i call shweta the local lg dealer they disonnect the call promise a call in 5 mins or jus don receive the call. The worst customer service till date.

I bought a LG AC from Veekay Coolers Kammanahalli Main Road, Bangalore. Not only did the dealer charge me about one thousand five hundred over and above the price of the AC saying that he has very good service guys working for him and any time I call them they will be available. Not only have I had to keep on calling for the free service which I am entitled to but now after 2 years of purchase my third service is still due for which he wants Rs. 900. LG Air Conditioner Split Ac — No service after so many phone calls

LG Mobile Phone U300 — unavailability of spares (Belt for Mobile)

my uncle residing at UK had gifted me a new LG Mobile handset model No: U300 bearing IMEI No: [protected] and Sr. No: 606 KPBF033781.
this handset workd well for a while and suddenly its display went out and shows nothing.
i had contacted LG Service centre at Ahmedabad and i was told that the belt is not working and they were not having belt for that perticular model as it was not launched in India. they shows inability to serve my cell phone.
so i had also registered a complaint in LG Customer care and was contacted by thier representative. they also show inability to provide necessary spare i.e belt and for that reason my cell phone is lying idle.
how a company like LG shows inability to provide spares in india?
my cell phone LG U300 is now a toy besides in working condition for a want of Belt it is very painfull to me.

LG Blu Ray DVD Player — pathetic customer service

I have raised several complaints about the problem i had with the LG DVD player (model bd550)that i purchsed a few months back. I have raised several complaints a few of which are: RNA[protected], RNA[protected]...but no one has managed to fix the problem. For god sake can someone help me to return all LG products that i have and return me my hard earned money?
I would like to add to the above list of complaints regarding LG products. Going by the Reader's Digest survey, we purchased a LG TV and portable music system. However immediately after the warranty period, both the products started giving problems. The music system got repaired after a week of logging the complaint. However re the TV, the service engineer came on the 2nd day after the complaint was logged but after a day of the repair, the TV has conked off again. I have been chasing the LG customer service since the last four days but no one has yet turned up to attend to the problem.
I must say that I am totally disillusioned with LG products and the servicing is absolutely disgusting. I will never advise any of my relatives, friends or acquaintance to buy any LG products.
LG should stop advertising that 'Life is Good' and relook into their products and servicing aspects.
