This is to bring to your kind notice that my father purchased a particular model of your LG refrigerator in 2004, GL-23TMTSFF.ACBQEBN priced Rs. 18000. It has hardly been used and if anyone has a look, its like absolutely new. However, last month the cooling of the machine suddenly stopped. We lodged a complain, RNA[protected] last month. A mechanic sent by your company came and said that he did not have the expertise to fix the machine and would send another one. the second mechanic came and said that there was a gas leakage and he would get it fixed on the next visit. On 12th September, 2013, a third mechanic from your company arrived saving that as this particular model is concealed so the gas leakage cannot be fixed and we should the machine altogether. Firstly, is this the way your employees present your company and address your customers' grievances? If that is so, then I am extremely dissatisfied and angry with the response. After this visit I called up the customer care office that gave me the number of your Senior Customer Executive Mr. Rajiv Singh, Phone No: [protected]. I explained him my situation and he said that if the machine would have broken in the 5 years of warranty time then we would have replaced it but as that time has passed and the model cannot be repaired, he cannot help me with my problem anyways. I address you this question which I asked Mr. Singh as well, why was such a model, which cannot be repaired after a gas leakage manufactured and sold to the customers and if you knew the fault in the machine, why was it not taken off the market immediately and the customers' money refunded. I think this is extremely unethical. Mr. Singh replies that just because 1 machine that was manufactured faulty, I should not say that the customers are unhappy and even my machine lasted for 10 years. Sorry to say but I have two more refrigerators which have had gas leakages but none that cannot be repaired. If I am correct gas leakages are quite frequent in refrigerators and Acs. Then how come make a concealed model that cannot be repaired later causing not only monetary loss but so much mental hassles to the customer. I even suggested to lodge a complaint with the Consumer Forum and Mr. Rajiv Singh readily agreed saying that this is not the company's fault and it would not solve any problem. I am extremely disappointed with all this behaviour and the mental hassles that this whole issue has caused and hope to get a proper response from you before taking this issue any forward.

We purchased a LCD 32" TV model no 32LC2R on 8/1/2008 for Rs 40000/- which got faulty after 2 months of purchase. After continuous follow up of 2 months and lot of threat to LG service centre the same was replaced by the company on replaced on 03/03/2008, since the part was not available with the company for the NEWLY LAUNCHED PRODUCT.
After the warranty period was over we were taking the AMC regularly. The last AMC we took from the company was started on 27/10/2012 for 3 years for Rs 5736/-.
We started facing a problem from 06/10/2013 and logged a complaint no # RNA[protected] with the customer service. The service engineer Mr. Nanak visited our place the very next day and told that one part is faulty for which the company would take 10 days to tell whether the part is available or not. After about 7 days we called the branch head Mr. Anuj to enquire about our part of the TV immediately he asked for the copy of invoice and AMC of the LCD since the part was not available. The next day Mr. Anuj confirmed that the total amount that the company would return since we had AMC would be just Rs 8000/-.
(This includes Rs 5736 AMC cost and 2264 as cost of TV buyback).
We asked Mr. Anuj to give the quotation in writing but he refused that this was not as per the company policy.
On 14/10/2013 when we asked Mr. Anuj for the TAT of closing the complaint he said that there is NO monitoring of such complaints from the company's side and there is NO TAT for closure of such complaints.
Today, 24/10/2013 another engineer visited stating that the part of our TV is now available and when he visited our home the service engineer observed that the part which he was having was of another model.
PROBLEMS
After waiting for almost 20 days of complaint we are still to figure out a solution to our problem. I wish to have replies on the below mentioned queries:
1) What is the depreciation policy of the company as Rs 40000/- LCD becomes Rs 2264/- product after 5 years’ time.
2) Why is the depreciated value not told to the customer while renew of AMC as in case of non-supplied parts the customer would get only the depreciated value of the product.
3) For a LCD with a present cost of Rs 2264/- how can the company charge a AMC for Rs 5736/-
4) Why the buyback quotation was not provided to us in writing while it can be only verbally informed to us. Whenever any wrong doing takes place then only things are kept in words and not in black and white. The customer is expected to keep a copy of the AMC and invoice of the LCD as a documentary evidence of the purchase BUT the company is not ready to give anything in writing.
5) Where there is no monitoring of any TAT for such kinds of complaints by the company.
SOLUTION EXPECTED
1) Provide me with a LCD (same model or above) in working condition which would work for at least another two years (as the company has given me an AMC till 27/10/2015). That means the company expects the LCD to work that long so Why should I settle for anything less than a working LCD. I am not ready to take the justification that the company is not having part. If you are providing AMC, then you are expected to keep all parts ELSE don't give AMC. If the company is reducing the inventory cost by not keeping the parts, then it will have to bear the cost of the replacement. You cannot have the BEST OF BOTH WORLDS.
In case we don't hear any solution from the company we would be constrained to take the matter to the CONSUMER COURT.

As i bought Split AC on saturday (05.04.14) and insatlled Split AC on sunday (06.04.14).The AC installed person name is Sundar([protected]) Sundar said he is from LG.But i get a call from another number ([protected] & [protected]) on monday (07.04.14) they said they are calling from LG that the AC installation person is not from LG so im not able to claim for warranty .So please tell me the installation person is from LG or not.and also the AC number is not matched with Invoice bill find the attached Invoice bill and AC number.

I have purchased LG WM WF1296QD23 7kg washing machine from BISMI APPLIANCES, KOCHI, KERALA, INDIA on 3rd Apr 2014. Equipment delivered on 4th. LG service came to install and found one component missing from the pack and he asked me to contact the SHOP. the shop ask me to contact LG. NOW AT THE END OF 10days after several calls to BISMI and LG services the Washing Machine is NOT INSTALLED. I AM GETTING MY LAUNDRY WASHED IN SOMEBODY ELSES HOME. Why the service is so much poor by my favorite brand LG?
I am really astonished.
I purchased an Air Conditioner (Model: LSA2UR2A) on April 2013. After one year I choose an AMC for three years that is up to April 2017.
Since beginning I am facing recurring problem of gas leakage. Technician come and re-charge every time after lodging complaint. Within a year there were four times gas recharged.
On 23rd April 2014 I complaint (No: RNA[protected] for AC was not working and this time also it was detected for gas leakage On 25th April 2014 I have been informed also coil to be replaced & it would take long time (15 days). Till now there is no progress for the same.
My other consumer durable product like Television, Refrigerator is also of LG make. Never had I faced any problem with those. But I am disappointed about this Air Conditioner.
It is now difficult to stay without Air Conditioner in Kolkata with 41° + temperature. Please look into this matter.
How many days will I have to wait for completion of the job.

On 23rd April 2014 I complaint (No: RNA[protected] for AC was not working and this time also it was detected for gas leakage On 25th April 2014 I have been informed also coil to be replaced & it would take long time (15 days). Till now there is no progress for the same.
My other consumer durable product like Television, Refrigerator is also of LG make. Never had I faced any problem with those. But I am disappointed about this Air Conditioner.
It is now difficult to stay without Air Conditioner in Kolkata with 41° + temperature. Please look into this matter.
poor service and not attending complaint
This is to bring to your kind notice that i had registered a request for service for my 1.5 tonn AC to lg customer care on 15 april..we were attended on 16 and informed about the need for refilling the gas.they took our AC and returned back after 2 days..however on refitting the AC it did not fit well and also did not work, so the engineer guessed that the AC might have been changed with some other AC and assured us that he wood return the next day..since then we have called them 100 times as well as got the complaint registered again on 29, but when they inquire and we inform them about the issue no engineer turns up..now we are really fed up..kindly look into the matter..

I Sheetal Nayak purchased a double door refrigerator-350 LTRS (GL.368YVQ4-FSUZEBN)on 30th June 2013 Rama Electronics, Ner Chowk (the local dealers of LG).From the time of purchase, the fridge is having the error in cooling and i have complained more than four times to LG Service center and the local dealer but after mending more than four times the problem still prevails and the local dealer and LG service department here in not not taking any further action regarding the solution.i want my fridge to be replaced before the warranty period expires.I am hereby attaching the copy of Invoice and details of previous complaints.

It has been mentioned in Khosla it will support all format of pendrive and All CV (Original and MP3) will processed. After 3 days of purchase (6.6.2013) one person came to house (named as Hassan) for demo. And that person informed me only original CV and DVD will support. I have informed the same to khosla also. They just simply ignored this.
On 25.8.2013 I bought one original CD and that was unable to move in the system. So I again called engineer once. Engineers came on 31.8.2013 (names as Sorot Shaw) he confirmed the dek is bad. totally damage. Then I call service center to report this for replacement since it is within warenty. One person named as (Surajit) told me since I didnt informed the same with within 7 days of purchase this product will not be replaced. Then I informed I will not let the engineer will move from my house till the time I will get an answer from your side. Mr Surajit had threat me “ I will sent the police to your house”. After having discursion engineer had write down in my diary
“As per discursion with (Mr, Surajit and Mr Pranab Pal(Area Manager) either the product will be replaced or money will be refund” with his signature and date. Also that engineer took the original invoice and 1st page of my cheque book for account number. Also confirmed within Thursday (5.9.2013). Till Thursday nobody called me up.
Friday (6.9.2013) when I called to the engineer .. he said to me go to A K Pal road LG service center, they will confirm you what exactly you need to do. When I told that you didn’t informed and you have wrote something to me.. person gave the threat also and told me that letter does not valid.
Then I went to Khosla they said if the product available next 15 days you will get this. Then again I called LG service center (Mr Pranab Pal) he told you gave me NO DUE certificate . I will refund back your money. When I asked Bajaj Finance to provide the letter they said clear the entire amount then they will provide me the NO DUE certificate.
Then I again called Mr Pranab and he informed there is two solution:
1. Wait till the product come in into the store
2. Provide the NOC certificate
After log the complain to the customer help desk got the number of the senior person in Kolkata Mr. Rahul Varma who assured me that I will get the replacement confirmation by Monday.
When I try to contact him to Monday he by pass me to Mr Pranab and Mr Pranab said still the product is not available try to confirm by tomorrow. Now when I try to contact Mr. Rahul Varma he is not responding to his Mobile.
Please suggest where to go to get the things resolved and I will get my product replacement asap basis.
