Subject: Complaint against LG Splic AC
I am very much unhappy with the service Provided by LG.
Initially in April we had cooling issue with our LG Split AC and we contacted the Customer Service Centre and the Service was provided Stating the Two reasons: 1. Dust in the Filter 2. No Gas in the compressor. The Dust was cleaned and Gas was filled and we paid the charged amount. The AC was working fine for a month and again in May we faced the same issue.
Again in May, we contacted the Customer Service Centre and Service was provided stating 1. No Gas in the compressor and the Service person identified some leakage as the Gas filled in April only lasted for a month. They asked us to bring the AC to Vandalur LG service Centre by our own vehicle and they checked and told the issue is fixed. Also, Gas was again filled in May.
Now, very irritating, a month after, again we are facing the same issue and when we reported the same to Customer Service Centre, the service person came and just cleaned the filter and was charging us. He did not even tend to take any steps to fix the issue which we are facing for last three months.
I immediately called their manager Mr. Narayanan PH: +91 [protected], and he was so irresponsible about the issue and was telling some cock and bull stories. I am very calamitous with the service provided by LG Vandalur Service Centre and Mr. Narayanan who is so irresponsible with the customers.
I request you to take this issue very seriously and take immediate action on the same.

We have been struggling with a non-performing window AC. Your incompetent technician Nanhe Pandey has visited us in response to our repeated complaints, and each time has a different diagnosis for the low cooling. Worst is he attends to the complaints without basic equipment like a temperature gauge!:
1st visit - gas ok, filter ok. service done
2nd visit - gas ok, capacitor and/or fan motor needs change, to return the next day with spare capacitor and fan motor.

My request:

LG company should be banned from operating in India. I have logged complaint for installation of window AC since 27/06/2014. i had spoken to 10 differrent people in call centre, but till now no one has come. I called again for checking when the person will come and came to know that the complaint has been cancelled. These people had supplied me a split AC also 2 years bacl and have spent 10k plus on the service of the same. Was forced to buy this time again as there was no other brand in defense canteen. They services my spilt ac 15 days back and had to repair one part. They took 5600 rs with no warranty or guarantee as had got the part repaired. The repaired part again went off in one days time.
Now the 45k AC is lying idle without any usage. same way my new AC is also not installed till now since last 10 days.

Thank you for your prompt written response. As we continue to fall sick in the heat waiting for some action from LG, we again tried to lodge a complaint with the call centre. When we asked for escalation, they again tried giving the no of Customer Care Officer [protected] which has been switched off. When informed, your Customer Care agent Rakesh gave me a landline no.[protected]. I repeated and informed him that this was not the complete no. After arguing he finally gave the complete number[protected]!! This number too is on constant waiting.
Really you guys are the pits in customer service and very soon would be penalised by a consumer court if you do not improve.
Pls attend on urgent basis else I will be forced to approach the office of your India CEO.

I had purchased a Nexus 5 phone 2 months ago. Since the time I purchased the phone I have frequent problems. People from the other side are unable to hear me speak. I reported this problem to LG within a week of purchase and they asked me to reach out to one of the authorized service center in Jayanagar. Initially it was told it was a software issue and they upgraded the software later I had a similar issue and wrote the customer care they had asked me to contact one person by name Mr Amit. I reached out to him and he informed me that he will revert back with an update, but I did not hear back from him. Later I went back to the service centre they came back stating that the microphone needs to be replaced and they a good week to get it replaced. Post which I again encountered the same problem and they asked me to reach out to direct LG service centre on Double road. I went there and handed over my phone addressing the concerns they took a couple of days and they informed me that the phone is working fine and its just that I need to use Micro Sim and not Nano sim. I have a couple of my friends using Nexus 5 but no one has such complaints and when I reached out to my service provider, they informed me that Nano sim actually is compatible with Nexus 5 and LG is just fooling around with you. Its really annoying after picking up a phone basis the review provided by my friends and to see such a disaster and on top of that I reached out to the toll no provided on the warranty card and they suggested me to reach out to a person by name Swetha and provided her mobile #. Its just waste of time, this person does not answer the phone call. Not sure whom else should I approach. I am looking at escalating to the top possible person to address this issue, but unable to get the contact details.

informing that they received the Panel for replacement but I need to Pay for
it. it is really disgusting to note LG TV is life is only 3 years and
customer is should ready for penalty ...

Known name in Indian customer. I went with your Products not only
TV also owning appliances of LG.
it is big mistake I think I made
choosing LG for my house hold products, it made me to doubt on other LG
Products also.
I have two options left out now.
1. At present My TV is in DEAD
condition, I request your intervention in this matter and direct concerned to
resolve the issue without impact ( Free of charge replacement), so that Loyal
customer can stay Loyal to LG Forever.
OR
2. Please instruct concerned to take
back my TV refund the amount by deducting Panel cost, so that I can go for some
other Brand. hope they can serve me better.

some of members from service started calling me from Last 3 weeks, but given
different version, still my LED TV is IN DEAD condition. Service personnel from
Bangalore are saying there are waiting for Panel confirmation from Head office,
I have been chasing every alternate day but situation is still as it is ! LG
being excellent service provide within short response time. I don't know what
is the issue with my case & what is obstructing even after your
intervention.

purchased LED TV 32LE5500ATR 3 Years back & providing excellent
performance all these days, On 31/10/14 suddenly picture went off started
getting Vertical lines all over the panel and sound is fine.
I registered the complaint with LG
Customer care (Complaint no :RN[protected], LG Service Engineer from KR Road
Service center, Bangalore visited my house examine the TV & Inform
that Panel is faulty, needs Panel replacement, costing around 14000.00 for
replacing the new panel.
LG Known for delivering Premium
technology & High Quality product to customer all these, LG
Known name in Indian customer. I went with your Products not only
TV also owning appliances of LG.
I was surprised & shocked
to hear panel (Heart of LED TV) is faulty in 3 years, where as it should
last for quite long period.
myself working as Quality Head in
MNC cannot digest Failure of Premium product of well know brand in such a short
period, penalizing loyal customer to such a great extent. it is high time for
LG to look into deep analysis of Critical parts to find out the Root cause for
failure.

Service center, Bangalore visited my house examine the TV & Inform
that Panel is faulty, needs Panel replacement, costing around 14000.00 for
replacing the new panel.
LG Known for delivering Premium
technology & High Quality product to customer all these, LG
Known name in Indian customer. I went with your Products not only
TV also owning appliances of LG.
I was surprised & shocked
to hear panel (Heart of LED TV) is faulty in 3 years, where as it should
last for quite long period.
myself working as Quality Head in
MNC cannot digest Failure of Premium product of well know brand in such a short
period, penalizing loyal customer to such a great extent. it is high time for
LG to look into deep analysis of Critical parts to find out the Root cause for
failure.
At present My TV is in DEAD
condition, I request your intervention in this matter and direct concerned to
resolve the issue without impact, so that Loyal customer can stay Loyal to
LG Forever.

Hope this mail meets you well. I am writing this email regarding a LG TV 65LA9700-TA (S.No - 404PLWR006025) and the customer service I have attained till date.
To explain to you in brief. I had bought a LG TV 65LA9700-TA(on Feb 1, 2015) from LG showroom Anna Nagar, Chennai. It was installed within two days of purchase. The next day as I tried to register, I noticed that the screen constantly went back and forth (flickering), and there was an absence of keypad on the screen. I informed LG service centre of this issue, upon which they sent a technician (Mr. Kannabiran). He mentioned that the software has to be re-installed and he will get back to me after communicating with the service centre ( a video was also made of the issue at hand and forwarded). After couple of days Mr. Kannabiran had returned to format and install the new software, but the problem still persisted. He told he will talk it over with his colleague on further steps to take. Few days later, I was told that the PCB has to be changed. But I am against the idea of changing the PCB of a TV which I have barely ever used. So I was told to talk this over to the service manager (Mr. Ramasamy - [protected]). Mr. Ramasamy said I had no option but to change the PCB, if not I had to get a new TV and pay the difference. The reason I bought this particular model was because of its features and good price deal I was getting it all. I was point blank given no other option and way he communicated with me was discourteous. I was being compelled to pay the difference in price, rather than being offered a replacement. He cannot force a customer into certain action, but should rather listen to their concerns and provide productive suggestions. I have have been shopping with LG for a long time and I know how good your customer service is. But the service I received from Mr. Ramasamy was unacceptable. A person in his position should know how to communicate with your customer and keep them at ease. I received a better, in fact good service from your service technician than your service manager.
I have waited for almost a month and am still waiting. I would truly appreciate your help with this issue. I would like a replacement for the same model or a tv with similar features.

when LG will send him those booked parts.
But after 8-9 days one of the service centre employee call
me and told me that, the parts for repairing my AC is unavailable in INDIA. And
suggest me to purchase a new AC where LG company will conceder me the half
amount of my new AC.
Then I contact Mr.
Debnath (Area service Manager mob. –
[protected]) to solve my problem, but after wasting 10-20 days time he is
also advised me to buy a new LG AC.
So my question is that, does the LG Company think that all
customers are fool or mad.

I am a lg customer from certain days i purchased a smartphone lg g3 D 855 and have been facing a lot of problems since the date of purchase in mid march then i had to take the phone to the service centre the 4th day and they had to inspect it for 3 hours as the keyboards werent apperaing when i had to type the phone was getting hot and the battery dies in 3 hours maximum and it is getting heated as if it has been taken out from a oven .
The lg service centre gave me the solution that the android software is making all this happen so they downgraded the software from lollipop 5.0 to kitkat 4.4.2 .
It was working fine for 3 days and again there was problem with the keyboard and other problems which use to happen often and as i am a business man and had my financial year ending .
Now again i am facing all these problems phone is getting heated the battery is dying fast. The microphone is giving problems and now this new things has started every 15 mins thte phone switches off on its own .
I bought this phone for my convenience but since the day i have bought it i am fed up with this phone the service centre said its a software problem they downgradation also did not help and now my problems has increased . Its my worst experience with lg and i am not happy at all i think i have made the biggest mistake by purchasing it . I am sincerely requesting you take a stern action and help me resolve all my problems .
I want someone to go through my phone thoroughly and give me a permanent solution or i would have to resort to legal action .
I had written on your website also before byt did not get any help or support .

very poor service. I am not satisfied in their work. TThey show very hurry to finish the work. They finished the service with in 10 minuts. That is none of the matter. They did not check the gas cylinder and also the outer box. The wire was hanging from the outerbox. Iaskedhim to correct it. But they did not care about it. They just wash the indoor cover only. Please take necessary steps to rectify my complaint. thankyou.
I had purchased one 3D 42'' smart TV along with a dongle some 3years back. The 1st dongle lasted for 2 years and I purchased another dongle which gave service for 3 months only. When I contacted the service centre they told the dongle can not be repaired. Each dongle cost me Rs. 2000. Now for the last six months I am trying to buy a new donle, the service centre is saying it is not coming even if they put the requisition. When I am contacting the toll free no. they are directing me to the service centre. It is a pity that a corporate like LG's name and fame is having such a poor service.

update you all about the real brand imagery of LG. I bought LG refrigerator
B217BSJV of Rs. 66500/- against the invoice no. 3014 dated 07/02/2013 from LG
shoppe (Apollo Sales Corporation) Dwarka. Within six month from the date of
buying the refrigerator developed a snag in the electrical system & they
replaced the faulty switch. I requested the dealer & the customer service
authority for replacement but they all said it’s a minor problem which usually
happens in 2 out of 5 so I left carelessly cause of busy schedule which I am
realizing it’s a biggest mistake which I did at that point of time. Trail mail
will says lot about the whole incident in chronological manner & reason for
writing this mail.
Again the refrigerator suddenly stopped working & we made
a complaint on 16 May 24, 2014, (the complaint number RNA[protected] after
repeated reminder customer service person visited on 18 May 2014. As per the
customer service person the compressor is not working, irony is that the
refrigerator door is having sticker which says “Compressor is having 10 years
warranty”. I immediately called up the dealer & told him for the exchange
but who cares after selling the product. These days customer is all “Custo ka
mara hua” & no one is willing to listen you, after so many reminder from 18
may till 24 May 24, 2014, luckily on 24th May at 6 pm, two LG
customer service person came to our house to replace the compressor & they
replace the faulty part but still the refrigerator not got on so again they
start searching for the defects & finally said PCB which is heart of the
electrical system is also not working. Both the person got down & talking
themselves “ yaar electrical connection direct kar dena tha aur customer ko
nahi batana tha” (we should have done the electrical connection directly
without intimating the customer). I am totally clueless after listening to the
talk of these customer care executive who is all set to make fool out of a
people, how can you trust the LG from where you buying these so expensive
products & you are not sure about the quality & reliability of the
same. Since evening incidence, I am talking to customer care & as per them
they have ultimate line “We have taken your request & will forward to the
concern department”. Finally I lost my temperament & then asked for the
number of Customer Head so they said we are not authorized to share his number
& landed up giving the number of Delhi Customer Care Officer – Himanshu
Kumar – [protected] & local customer service supervisor – [protected] who all
are having zero authority to take call in case of exchange or any kind of major
problems.
I am writing this mail only to make you aware & pl share
among your community that these things are happening in LG (customer service
persons are trying to fool customer). Also, pl share your experience if you
have faced anything in past, this time I ll go all out for replacement, If need
be I ll go myself to Greater Noida office to meet these big frauds who sits in
corporate office.
