I mohd rafiq, had purchased a lg flat slim model no 29fg2rge ctv on 12th january, 2008 from ajanta electronics, sakinaka, mumbai. The tv was faulty having patches which on complaint the dealer got it replaced but the replaced tv too consisted of the same problem which then the dealer forwarded to the company.


A technician was sent from the company who visited my place and adjusted some yoke in the tv which was of no use and indeed the patches increased to the worst .Then the tv got replaced by the company on 12th february, 2008.The replaced tv had the same problem on which i asked for a senior engineers assistance, to which a technician mr rajbhar visited and said that he would send his senior to see the problem .A senior engineer mr. Singh visited my place after 2-3 days and to my surprise he explained me the difference between a mercedes car and a maruticar .It was really great to know that you have people who can explain such things rather than what their work is, he assured and promised me of inquiring whether the same problem occurs in other tvs and would call me, but he dint returned even a call.
The other technician i.E. Mr rajbhar said to me that your tv is cheap therefore it has such low picture quality which he said in front of the dealer. Is it that you make big promises about your globally renowned products that are said to be best in class and of the highest quality which your own technicians consider to be a cheap product.
Now i too think that your senior engineer and technician were correct about the quality of your product.
By now i am fed up of your cheap quality of service and product .I even called up the mumbai branch manager mr. Ankur joshi (Mobile no. [protected]) on 11th april, 2008 who assured me of returning back a call for a feedback and said that, "i know my job". And now even after 4 days i understand how much he knows about his job and on what basis lg appoints responsible people that too in customer services.
I am totally frustrated and exhausted by this sort of irresponsible and irritable behaviour of your technicians, senior engineer, service manager and dealer.The dealer even insist me on getting other brands. You make big promises about the quality charter, your customer services, responses and quality products and even the 6 sigma's.
At the end i would like to say that i want a refund in a week or else i would to my dissatisfaction would hav to go to consumer guidance society and other such organisation to put a light on your customes services and your commitment to excellence and quality as mentioned in your advertisements and booklets.
I hope to notice some response or action as soon as possible

I agree with you thoroughly. Never Ever buy anything from sales India, Ashram Road. They are total cheats, only interested in grabbing money from the customers. I bought an OTG from them on New Years eve. When we opened the package at home it did not have any skewer in it. Next day went to the shop to complain. They kept sending us from one person to the other and some of the boys told us that our 28 litre OTG does not come with skewers!! Any child would know that a basic model of OTG comes with skewers (the very G of OTG stands for grilling isn't it?!!)!! The sales men and women have no knowledge about the product they are selling. We were totally shocked and horrified by the entire episode... want to take them to court!!

LG / TV 21va20vc — tv not repaired, no spare part

refer complaint RNA[protected] Date 9th January. Tv is purchased in my name from giriasatabase

I hear that ic is not working and need to be replaced. Further related spare is not available with LG. I paid 14,800 rupees and now LG says spare not available. I have registered on complaint[protected] with LG for replacement of faulty picture tube. Its more than a month now and no update till now. whenever i called up consumer support guys they used to say that they have no update. Even local service centre people doesn't respond to my calls.

Is this the kind of service anyone gets from LG. Till now there is no update from LG guys.

I talked to many guys and they told me that they are also facing similar issues with LG products.

I ask everybody to donot purchase LG products. Please expense 500 rupees more to purchase samsung product or otherwise you will expense 5000 rupees to claim the warranty.

They are selling 3rd class products in india.

We bought an LG REF 275 VE5 Refrigerator number 112NRER068700 two days ago. Since day 1 the fridge thermostat was not working properly. Everything including vegetables, milk etc was frozen, despite running it on low cooling mode. When the complaint was registered the engineer who attended the complaint was extremely rude and did nothing to help the situation. He did not even check the fridge condition.

On registering the second complaint, he checked the thermostat and suggested to change that. However we want a replacement as we do not feel the necessity of putting up with this defective electronics item anymore. Mr Tyagi from the Customer Care, New Delhi agreed to replace the fridge in two to three days. We would like evidence that the necessary action will definitely be taken within that time.

I lodged my complaint No.[protected] to LG in Jan.4, 2012 about the cheating of their re-seller M/s V.N.Agencies at Uttam Nagar, New Delhi for installation of one split AC of LG, but instead of any satisfying reply they are informing to produce the details of the person installed the split AC at my residence and charged the amount by intimating that they are not having the details of the person sent by them for installation. It is a question that how a person could get the address, Mobile number and asked for convenience for installation on behalf of the company/re-seller Agency then. My complaint was against the salesman provided details about the varieties, make and afterthat he said that Rs. 500/- will be charged for installation, but the person charged Rs. 1500 + Additional amount of wiring per meter. This is the attitude of LG and their re-seller.

LG — Defective Product & horrible customer service

I have purchased this product dated 17.07.2011 model no LSA5LW3AF6.AAN48DRM (II). The first time I installed the product I had issue with its display, which wasn't working, so it got changed. I used it for 2 months. The AC was put to rest because of winter from Nov - Feb. Last week of Feb, when I tried putting it on, only the fan was working, there was no cold. I lodged the following complaints:

We called up the service center several times. They said they would be sending someone to repair. We spoke to Mr. Sujoy Majumadar with cell no [protected], several times last week. He kept us waiting for the whole Saturday (24.03.12) and didn't even bother us to call back and say that the work wont be done. Even calling him at 5 .30 around in the evening, he said there would be someone attending shortly. But in vain.
His behavior and attitude is so wrong towards a customer. Now whenever we are calling him, he is asking us to book a call. My question is if the service is not yet completed how can the older complaint gets closed.

Secondly my concern is if an Ac which is a luxury item we have purchased from a known brand like LG, how is it the product is defective. After few months we wont be covered under warranty period. If the service of the company is like these, how do we expect, that the AC would work properly after this servicre. I have seriously thought on making a consumer forum complaint in regards to it. I would like an immediate action in this regard that the AC which I have purchased six months back, needs to be replaced. We also have contacted your toll free custiomer service and let us know our problem and asked someone to call us regarding the product.
I have booked another complaint yesterday 27.03.12 RNA[protected]. We got a call in the eve that someone would turn up but today while enquiring we were re routed to some other service center today and they let us know that it would be done tomorrow. We are working professionals, we are skipping office just for an AC to get repair, since my spouse is pregnant and its too warm out here.
I really had a horrible experience with your company, I am seriously onto taking some action regards to this.

This 1.5T LG Split AC (Model: LSA5ZP2VT1) purchased on 1st March 2010. From the day it’s installed we faced the following breakdown, all time we are not served properly and perfectly from service team.
New installation on the first day – Installation has been completed around 8 PM, when we stared using the AC indoor unit packed with full of ice due to leak in indoor unit pipe. Call logged and attended after 2 days.
They temperately done the work, we keep on facing the same issue on regular intervals. When I put pressure on local service partner, they removed the indoor unit and returned after 20-30 days.
Even after service same issue -indoor unit noise-leak-no cooing issues continuous. Regular breakdown, after warranty period we force to enter in to AMC for two years due to regular break downs.

Recent incident
AC not working properly e.g. when we set desire temperature in 25 the AC will switch on (Both Indoor and Out door) when the indoor temperature reach 25 (Desire temp) both outdoor and indoor will switch off, only the indoor indicator light will be on, slowly the indoor temperature will drop to 11 but the desire temperature will be in 25. We have the image as proof.
After 4 or 5 hrs when the room temperature reaches 29 or 30, the indoor and outdoor will be on, it will be switch off again within 1-2 hrs. This has become regular.
Service call logged on 14th of Feb 2012 (RNA[protected], engineer visited and said board problem and disconnected one board and given connection directly and committed the board will be replaced in next day, we waited for a week and found from LG customer care that the call has been closed. No service report has been given to us and we too not signed any report.
We logged the call again 22nd Feb 2012 (RNA[protected] again they checked and said the board will be replaced with in a week, we waited for 3 weeks and fought with local service center and got the spare replaced and engineer said that let it be under observation for 2 days, no one turned in spite of call them many times, we checked with LG customer care again the they closed the call without any intimation to us.
For the same issue call logged again on 16th March 2012 (RNA[protected] engineer attended the call after 3 days, he reached and switched on the AC and said “let the AC work for 1 hr and said he will return with in 1 hr” he never turned we waited for nearly 10 days, no report signed by us and we found from LG customer that the call has been closed / cancelled mentioned power fluctuation.
When my other AC is working fine in the same place, how this problem will come for LG AC? The call closed without any intimation.
Call logged again (RNA[protected] continue…..we totally not satisfied with LG brand of AC, we are very unhappy customer of LG AC with the bitter service experience.
Hence we request you to replace a new unit or refund, else this will be taken legally with consumer court and crime for loss of monitory value, discomfort, mislead and malpractice of signature.
Before this article will be published in news papers, face book, LG customer feed back and chain mail will be generated and send to all, Kindly look in to this issue immediate and do the replacement / refund at the earliest.
Note: We too in to service industry last 10 years.

This is about our double door refrigerator we bought not even an year back in 2011..its cooling is not there and after every time a complaint is being done,a service man comes and gives us a verbal assurance of not having problem again..

now the summers are there and we require cooling of refrigerators utmost.
we are going into mental stress because of this,vegetable and eatables are getting thrown away almost everyday when refrigerator is not working,cant keep it..
