I mohd rafiq, had purchased a lg flat slim model no 29fg2rge ctv on 12th january, 2008 from ajanta electronics, sakinaka, mumbai. The tv was faulty having patches which on complaint the dealer got it replaced but the replaced tv too consisted of the same problem which then the dealer forwarded to the company.


A technician was sent from the company who visited my place and adjusted some yoke in the tv which was of no use and indeed the patches increased to the worst .Then the tv got replaced by the company on 12th february, 2008.The replaced tv had the same problem on which i asked for a senior engineers assistance, to which a technician mr rajbhar visited and said that he would send his senior to see the problem .A senior engineer mr. Singh visited my place after 2-3 days and to my surprise he explained me the difference between a mercedes car and a maruticar .It was really great to know that you have people who can explain such things rather than what their work is, he assured and promised me of inquiring whether the same problem occurs in other tvs and would call me, but he dint returned even a call.
The other technician i.E. Mr rajbhar said to me that your tv is cheap therefore it has such low picture quality which he said in front of the dealer. Is it that you make big promises about your globally renowned products that are said to be best in class and of the highest quality which your own technicians consider to be a cheap product.
Now i too think that your senior engineer and technician were correct about the quality of your product.
By now i am fed up of your cheap quality of service and product .I even called up the mumbai branch manager mr. Ankur joshi (Mobile no. [protected]) on 11th april, 2008 who assured me of returning back a call for a feedback and said that, "i know my job". And now even after 4 days i understand how much he knows about his job and on what basis lg appoints responsible people that too in customer services.
I am totally frustrated and exhausted by this sort of irresponsible and irritable behaviour of your technicians, senior engineer, service manager and dealer.The dealer even insist me on getting other brands. You make big promises about the quality charter, your customer services, responses and quality products and even the 6 sigma's.
At the end i would like to say that i want a refund in a week or else i would to my dissatisfaction would hav to go to consumer guidance society and other such organisation to put a light on your customes services and your commitment to excellence and quality as mentioned in your advertisements and booklets.
I hope to notice some response or action as soon as possible

I bought a LG ac 20 days back and to my surprise the AC stopped to work with all type of smoke coming out of it ... than i tried to lodge complaint with there customer care service who tries to be very supportive and caring which they are not... there after i contacted mr ashu khan and and miss pooja mathur against hell lot of complaints are registered on company website ...as they are famous for not answering calls or switching off their mobiles ...so they did same ...and increased their popularity further by nt answering calls...
so the issue is this company is the worst company which even cant instruct its employess to work...any ways I have decided if my complaint is nt resolved in 2 days i am moving consumer court and i request you all to do the same... and lets educate people about LG product that how bad these products and their service after purchase are ...than only they wil start working(complaint noRNA[protected]
I am very regret to write that after making many complaints at your customer service center & making many requests to your authorised service center regard somr parts of washing machine (Model No.WP9220) containing Sr.No 009 NLNC057943 purchased from Royal Distributors, Muzaffarnagar, no action has been taken by any one since last 1 month, i have made may telephone & went your service centre but no body is in position to provide me the parts of abovesaid machine i have required only 2 parts i.e. Spin Drier baskrt cover & Spin drier cover.

Sir, I want to know what should I do? Should I sold the machine in Scrap or any way?

It seems that co. is not in position to provide the same, In future before purchasing any LG product I will think 100 times & advised to others to do so,

I have purchased fully automatic washing Machine from LG Showroom in Gurgaon, my customer ID id RNA[protected], the store manager had told me that LG is having 24X7 customer service and within 24 hours of the purchase the Engineer will visit ur place and install washing maschine with proper demo,
But now it is more than 3 days and no one from the company had called up or visited our place for the demo. Regarding this I made the complaint on their 24X7 customer service centre but still there is no response from the company.
This is the worst experience of mine with such a lethargic customer service where the company promises fro 24X7 service according to me either the company stop making such fake promises or they must be sued for this.

I had a microwave oven mod no MC-806-AA . It has a problum as its front butten pannels are not working exept start butten .It was heating properly.I took it to solve the problum at LG service centre situated at Durga city centre Halwani. After a week Service centre contact me by telephone that the display pennel is not availabe in centre, even in factory at Koria and model is outdated and said me to take is back . When I took the oven back its bulb is not glowing and it is not working as before . Then I again complaint about this problum to service centre that it is nor as it was before they did not respond well .Then I went to local Mechenic, he solved all the problum and the front pennel was also got available by the mechenic. service centre had stolen the megnetron, dyode, door switch and bulb of the oven at the time of service .when I complaint to the centre about the parts thay have denied my talk and gave no response to my talk. at last I got repaired my oven in more cost about Rs 5000.00.Pl help me in this matter .

I am Girish Malhotra an user of LG Refrigerator(LG FF FRIDGE GL-408YSQ4) which i bought on 27.05.12 from Sargam Electronics B-8, Model Town -II Delhi-110009(Bill Number-S/MT1962).
After few days i notice that in freezer(where we store ICE)not working properly(there is so much ice gathered like snow fall but normally in double door fridge no ice on inner body of freezer) i call on customer care number on[protected] and complaint about the problem they give me complaint number which is RNA[protected]. After I complained in the company, a technician came to check it and he say this is only temperature adjustment problem.He reduces the temperature in freezer area and say everything is fine now.But after few days i saw in freezer area water was falling from everywhere.Again i call customer care on 05-10-12 and complaint about the problem they give me complaint number which is RNA[protected] again a technician come and he say there is problem in freezer for this he has to call in RND department.He gave me time he will come again in 24 hour time. Again he come and he told me they repair this freezer.But as i purchase the fridge on 27.05.12 i don't want to repair my fridge.I need replacement of my fridge. I call Sargam Electronic but from there i don't get any response. I call today as well on customer care number.

I recently had a very bad experience with a LG Authorised Service Centre namely Digital Services, 270, Block B, Bangur Avenue, Kolkata 55. We lodged a complaint with this Service Centre on 10th August, 2012 for servicing of our LG washing machine. They took the machine for servicing and charged us Rs. 6790 for changing the motor, Valve inlet and inner drum. After repeated follow ups we only got the machine back on 28th August, 2012. At the time of delivery it was noticed that the timer of the machine was not functioning properly (when timer was set to 15 minutes it continued till 2 hours etc) and it was pointed out to the representative of the Service Centre who said that they will come again to repair the timer. However, despite atleast a 100 phone calls till date they have not come back for repairing the timer. We followed up with Mr Rajat Burman (+91 [protected]) alongwith Ms Lipika Dutta (+91 [protected]) of the Service Centre but they did not respond (complaint no RNA[protected]. Till now no one has turned up even after chasing them for more than 1 1/2 months and the washing machine cannot be used. We are disheartened and disgusted with the poor service quality and the lack of responsibility of the authorised Service Centre of LG. We have spent a lot of money already on the servicing of the washing machine with no satisfactory result. We are putting this on the website with the expectation that someone would relieve us from this agony. We attach the invoice etc.

I had given a complaint about an LG Led 32 inch Tv on the 10th of October 2012. The complaint number registered is RNA[protected] in the name of Antony George Ph. No.[protected]. We have not been contacted and when we tried to contact the CEO Ms.Priyanka, she said she would call back and that is the last we heard . She never called back and refused to pick up the phone after that. I am very disappointed with the attitude of the CEO and with the general response from LG though I have recommended this brand to a lot of my friends and acquaintances . I expect some response from this mail at least . Please do not promise what you cannot give ie prompt service which is the only reason I bought this brand.

I am not sure why we did we choose LG Airconditioner, every 2 months there on Issue or other and i pay up the Visit charges and the Part Charges. Last time i Paid up for the Gas to be Filled. Previous to that i had asked for a wet service, but the Service personnel did a dry Service. Now there is another problem - water sprinkling instead of air. Every time - i am told that there will be a temporary Warranty for 3 months on the service done. But i never get benefit. LG Cares is the biggest joke, should be does not care.

I had raised a request for general service for LG washing machine (Front Load F8068 LDP purchased 6 months back in April 2012) on 20th Oct 2012. The unskilled personnal came from LG AMC for cleaning the washing machine. An existing descaling agent was used while servicing. The next day, the entire steel finish of the drum was gone.



While contacting the customer care and raising the request again and specifically mentioning that some senior skilled professional to be sent to check this issue which has been caused by an untrained professional who does not know the details what to use and how to use, the same person was sent again. He checked something and finally said nothing can be done. Nothing has happened to your machine in terms of functioning so we cannot do anything about it. After talking to his supervisor and discussing the issue, it is said that we cannot do anything about the drum even if it is in warranty or even if you have AMC as this issue is unique and something like this does not happen. He was just not ready to solve the problem and kept emphasizing that they cant do anything about it.



Also, the supervisor misbehaved and talked rudely that they cannot do anything and first you should wait for 6 months for the rusting to occur and then only we will change the drum. Even after agreeing that the rust will appear in the drum as coating is gone now, and it can create issues, he was just not ready to do anything about it. The service engineer dint have any experience to service the equipment and kept saying that I don’t know what to use and that he is new to this product service. The same service engineer could not also service the microwave efficiently.



What’s the point in availing the AMC or any warranty which the company provides, if the basic stuff is not ensured such that the teams are aware of what to use and what not to use while cleaning the machines. It also raises questions about the experience and training provided to the service engineer, supervisor.

Though we have always heard that LG’s post customer care is not great but we still opted for the products provided as they seem to be good in market, but now we regret that the after sales services that LG has, are horrible, even after the AMC or other things that company tries to provide!



I need a proper resolution for this issue and I believe that the customer should not pay for any unskilled services by LG.

I have 3 lg air conditioners purchased 5 years back. I have AMC with parts covered for all the 3 of them..they kept my window A/c for 1 mth and returned it saying that they have changed the compressor...however the problem still continues and the compressor is not working again within 15 days of repair. Even with my Split A/c they kaput it for 4 days and returned it, but while fixing the technician broke some part again..he told it will be done first thing in the morning..no response from them...tired of putting in complaints, talking to their we noire..all useless...really frustrated with them.

LG Split AC repeated breakdown

I purchased LG Split AC from Girias Shop in Bangalore on 10/3/2011. The AC worked only 11 months. From the 11th month this unit has been repaired 4 times. The repeated complaints as listed below will tell you the story. But more than anything else that 11th month Feb 2011 just few days before my daughter's wedding the AC stopped working, which made us very upset and disturbed. Your service centre responded to my call and charged gas and set the unit working for a few days till the wedding was over. After this the unit was taken again and repaired and returned to me. The unit stopped working once again and the service centre did the job free of cost. After two months the unit stopped working again and I took AMC for two years for an amount of Rs.3971.
During the AMC period twice the unit has been repaired, the latest was in May 2012. Since they took the split AC both indoor and outdoor units, I was told that this time it would be a thorough job. The senior technicians has also visited and checked my complaints.
I have today registered another complaint for the same fault. As I know there are two gas outlet / inlet on the outdoor unit from where the gas pipes are connected. At the lower valve/nut which is connected supplying gas to the indoor unit frost starts forming at this location. So far they have not been able to solve the problem inspite of repeated repairs. This point on the outdoor unit of the LG AC is deffective and has to be replaced with something good. I have seen many other LG ACs all over Bangalore working very well, and I cannot understand why only this unit has to be repaired constantly.

LG's Customer Support is shockingly dismal.

I made the mistake of buying an LG LCD TV model 32CS560 for Rs 30, 000 at the LG Shoppe in Pondicherry on 1 October 2012. On 31 December 2012, less than 3 months after it was purchased, the TV died.

I registered a complaint with LG's Customer Support service on 1 January 2013.

On 3 January, a technician from LG came and diagnosed the problem: a circuit board had failed inside the TV.

Two weeks later, the TV still has not been repaired or replaced.

Now I've discovered that LG's Customer Support service is really just a Customer Sympathy and Excuse service. When I call them, they apologize for my dead TV and then tell me that the replacement part is not in stock and they have absolutely no idea when the part will become available.
I had repeatedly complained that Lg company but there is no use. I had reported them kon following occasion:-

It is requested LG company be directed to replace the microwave if they can not repair the item after making so many days complained.
I purchased an LG washing machine from Ace Electronics, LG showroom at The Great India Place Mall at 1130 am on 3/Feb/2013 taking great pains to explain to the showroom personnel that I need to operate the machine in a hurry for various reasons. They promised to send the machine straightaway which they did, but despite repeated followups no one has arrived yet to install it. Frustrated, this morning I had to pay my local electrician and plumber to install it. I would have been alright had the showroom informed me prior to the purchase that I would need to get it installed myself, and that LG does not intend sending in an installer before so many days even if you pay full cash and purchase it for using. Many thanks LG for such terrific consumer service- you will go a long way to lose all your loyal customers with this utter disregard to customer sensitivity.
