I mohd rafiq, had purchased a lg flat slim model no 29fg2rge ctv on 12th january, 2008 from ajanta electronics, sakinaka, mumbai. The tv was faulty having patches which on complaint the dealer got it replaced but the replaced tv too consisted of the same problem which then the dealer forwarded to the company.


A technician was sent from the company who visited my place and adjusted some yoke in the tv which was of no use and indeed the patches increased to the worst .Then the tv got replaced by the company on 12th february, 2008.The replaced tv had the same problem on which i asked for a senior engineers assistance, to which a technician mr rajbhar visited and said that he would send his senior to see the problem .A senior engineer mr. Singh visited my place after 2-3 days and to my surprise he explained me the difference between a mercedes car and a maruticar .It was really great to know that you have people who can explain such things rather than what their work is, he assured and promised me of inquiring whether the same problem occurs in other tvs and would call me, but he dint returned even a call.
The other technician i.E. Mr rajbhar said to me that your tv is cheap therefore it has such low picture quality which he said in front of the dealer. Is it that you make big promises about your globally renowned products that are said to be best in class and of the highest quality which your own technicians consider to be a cheap product.
Now i too think that your senior engineer and technician were correct about the quality of your product.
By now i am fed up of your cheap quality of service and product .I even called up the mumbai branch manager mr. Ankur joshi (Mobile no. [protected]) on 11th april, 2008 who assured me of returning back a call for a feedback and said that, "i know my job". And now even after 4 days i understand how much he knows about his job and on what basis lg appoints responsible people that too in customer services.
I am totally frustrated and exhausted by this sort of irresponsible and irritable behaviour of your technicians, senior engineer, service manager and dealer.The dealer even insist me on getting other brands. You make big promises about the quality charter, your customer services, responses and quality products and even the 6 sigma's.
At the end i would like to say that i want a refund in a week or else i would to my dissatisfaction would hav to go to consumer guidance society and other such organisation to put a light on your customes services and your commitment to excellence and quality as mentioned in your advertisements and booklets.
I hope to notice some response or action as soon as possible

it has to be replace because after 4 services the product is not working properly and is in the guarantee /warranty period.

I am one of those harassed customer of LG.I have been constantly in touch with your customer care department regarding my complaint about my a/c of 1.5 ton which is not cooling the room.My complain/request number is RNA[protected].I was given an estimated cost of Rs.1, 350/-plus 12.3% service tax.I agreed.But when one Mr.Ashish from your service department visited my house on the 17th of April, 2012, he gave me a figure of excess of Rs.1, 800/- I pointed out the figure given to me by your customer care.Mr.Ashish did not agree.Was he trying to make some extra money or is it something else?Why, otherwise I am being harrassed by service department of LG?Your service department has been assuring me from 17th of April, that they will pick up the AC, but they are not doing it.Today I was given a name of Ms.Sobha Pandey, with her mobile number as [protected] by your customer care.I tried to contact this lady.All my efforts proved to be futile.You may check with your customer care how many times I contacted them for resolving my problem.Unfortunately nothing is happening.Is'nt it frustrating? For your information all our electronic appliances are LG products.Do you know why? Because of its excellant after sales service.But now it is just not like it used to be.

I have a WF T6517TE washing machine. Last week there was some technical snag with the machine. I had contacted the call center and they had sent one engineer to address the problem. The engineer had replaced one product and had charged Rs 600. Now after a week's time the machine is giving me the same problem. This is also to inform you that we might have misplaced the receipt, which was given to us. When I contacted your call center, they are saying to get it done for free of cost I have to show the slip. My question is that you must have the counter foil with my signature. So, what is the use of that counter slip. Is LG India doing so bad that they want charge a loyal customer Rs 600 more to fix a problem for which they have already taken the money. I was also given the number of Ms Anju, who is suppose to be a senior customer care executive. But to my surprise she is not taking my calls. Can someone address this problem?

I am really surprised to see such an excellent service provided by the LG. I have lodged a complaint of my LG Refrigerator on 08-05-12 at LG costumer care and the same was attended on[protected] by a team commended by Mr. Ashraf Manager, Mr. Manjo and Mr. Khan at Patpar Ganj, IP Extension Area, Delhi. I am really thanks a lot to the LG for having such and expert team with excellent result to the best satisfaction to the subscribers.

We lodged a complaint 10 days back for AC service but still nobody returned up (Complaint.no: RNA[protected]. We are daily following up with the customer service and LG employee (Mr.Azharrudin) but of no use till now. Being a AMC registered customer, really disappointed with your service and very sad of having purchased LG AC (2), Oven (1) and Refrigerator (1). If this is how you provide your customer service, then i am sure of not going with any of your LG products in future. It's very disappointing that nobody even responding to the complaint properly. Whom should we contact for the service, you Chief Executive officer/Managing Director (Moon B Shin)? Please let me know.

LG India Window AC — poor customer service

i have purchased window ac of LG and only one month gone pass its not cooling properly logded complain but not recived any correspondence yet 24 hrs time limit finished.

LG Electronics — Poor response for servicing

I am a customer of LG electronics since last more than 12 years. I have 3 windows AC at my shop and 2 split AC at my home. Besides I also have other products from LG like washing machince, TV and others. I raised a request for AC servicing twice in last 3 days. The request numbers for them are RNA[protected] and RNA[protected]. Till date no executive have come to my home for servicing. Is this the kind of service LG is offering to its customer. What is the use of being loyal customer of LG if they are not willing to give after sales service.

LG — Poor product support

We purchased LG Split Air conditioner last year. The product does not work currently. We have the following complaints

1) Product stopped working within 1 year - no service was provided as per warranty in the first year of purchase of the product
2) Despite multiple follow ups and reminders, we get no proper response for the current problem with the AC
3) Customer/ product support is extremely poor and the guys who we deal with are not responsive enough. They pass on the bug and sleep on the problem without properly working to fix the issue

Due to this, we are reeling under scorching 42 degree heat with no AC working at home.

Need urgent help to resolve this issue.

Due to this issue, my recommendation too others using this site, is DON'T buy any LG products. LG's customer/ product service is EXTREMELY POOR

Still waiting for a resolution of my complaint. I have even talked to the Custoemr service manager. but no help. These peoplle are just passing the time so that the summer is gone and then we wont require theie AC for atleast 8-10 months.
LG service is so poor and the persons who do the servicing are so careless. My husband happened to `find the faulty connection and rectify it. Even after lodging complaint, nobody has cared to attend the problem in our 1.5 ton window a/c.

LG — Poor Product and unattended service

I have bought an window A/C by September 2009 at Chennai. Within a short duration (3 months), i started to realize that the performance of the product was not up to the standard of what it should be doing. I have started to call the Customer care & LG Technician guys and had small fix-ups every now and then. As we started to reach the close of first year, scared of going with this A/C without AMC further would end-up total mess, i had taken up taken 2 yrs AMC. The performance was not OK, it does not even generate cooling to the small bedroom that we occupy. My complaint history would better illustrate the performance of the machine, by which the technicians were started to known about this individually about us due to their regular and short visits. It was like for every ~2 months we were logging a complaint. The problem that they told was compressor is not OK and the gas is getting leaked. They will collect the machine and fix the problem (after a short duration, we came to know that problem was not really fixed) and replace it in 4 days. Due this tension, we were not properly escalating the complaint whenever we face the issue, considering that nothing will happen even if they repair this. Since March 1, 2012, i have logged three complaints and all of them were closed without any response.
During the early diagnose of the problem, within 3 months of purchase, i have requested the customer care guys to replace the problematic part of the machine. They said that Technician will take care of this. Technicians said they will do this while repairing at their workshop. But nothing had happened until now.
Out of frustration, i even begged the Technicians and senior officers at Chennai LG Service centre located at 100 ft road (Vadapalani, way to Koyambedu), to take away the machine by paying no cost. They assure that they will fix this problem. But for past 3 years this had been one of the very worst performing and itching home appliance at my home.
With this prob, i working as a manager of a corporate office, have advised handful of my colleagues, friends and family members, to not even to cross the street where LG showroom or product is displayed.

I found and ad to be like: LG - Life's Good. Bloody , who said this. I say "Lying Good."

Can something be done on this? Who will question these guys? What would be response and who would be the judging authority about such complaints?

They are experimenting at customer's cost.
My Precious Advise, "Pls never take any LG product". If someone has to refute me for this, pls come and enjoy the cooling experience we are getting from the A/C @ our home.

I am very sorry to write few word for your company and customer care, , , , , This is very schocking to me that I just purchase a LED LCD TV: 55LW5700 to believe on you and your compony from jaipur your LG shoppee M/s Jain Electonicecs Raja park Jaipur ..in the mionth of November 2011, some day back it just stoped to functioning ...and i thought you have a repo and have a good coustmer care, but i was rong ...i just contated to your coustmer care and find that there you have posted wrong person who have noted mu complaint and put this omplaint udisa in place of rajasthan my RNA was[protected] it was lodge on 26th May2012, after few days i found it was not working again i went to that shopee and told the person concern, , he agai laodge a complaint and give me another RLA no which is[protected].on 28 may ...after two days two person came and examine it and told me that some part is not working some card so it will be changed and it will be changed soon...than they went. after waiting for fewdays i again went to the shopee Jain electronics..the concern person contact to the coustmer service incharge Mr. Rajendra on mobile no [protected], , , , this person told me that he will look after in this case and will inform me upto 8PM...(at that time it was 5.30 PM) i thought that he is reliable person and will convey me ...i told him if he will not trun it there upto 8 PM than i will tru to e mail some where and put the status on MY FACE BOOK wall and also in MY institute Natonal Institute of technology Jaipur, , , , it is very strange and shocking at 8PM i try to contact this person but he do not pic the phone, , , , aftwer so mant call i found that he has been switched off...it was shocking to me ...i am very sad that this type of services you are giving for those coustmer who have a lot of fathe in you who have puchased your product for near about 80, 000/- Ropees ..it is very shame ful and ...it dist disgisssting...if some one is there tha look in to this metter otherwise i have to go to the court foer consumer right ...finally i hope there justice will be done ...i will pray to all my colligue and friend and relative please do not purchase the LG product ...As My daughter is getting married on 28th jUne and i was planning to give her a LED like me OF LG...but sorry now i will give her the SONY product they are best in sales and service i have lot of experience about his..

LG Service India — Very low quality component and poor service

I have window AC 1.5 T of LG Company, and under AMC, I am getting frequent problem of this product, the component of this product is very low and cheap quality, a small fluctuation in power its component gets damage, in a month I faced tow times this problem and after the problem complain to customer care and someone from LG service comes after one or two days and checked, say startup PCB get damage and not available in our store when it will be available , will be replaced, but I am asking why such low quality component they are using, this is India and in this country voltage fluctuation are there so accordingly it must be designed, even I am using steplizer but in spite of this if there is small fluctuation happen the component of AC get damage and after that LG service takes minimum one week to repairs it, how we manage in hot summer season.

On 24.5.2012 I have registered a complaint of my split AC at your customer service toll free no My complaint no is RNA[protected] and complaint was as follows:
1. Abnormal noise from indoor unit

I have been trying to get my AC checked for the last three days but to no avail, Every time I call I am told that I will receive a call from the service center asap, and since today morning I am told that I will be receiving a call from some senior. I have purchased LG Split AC bearing Model no LSA5ER5S.ANLG on 15.04.11 which under warranty, I am getting Electric Bill for 8500.00 per month. CESC has checked electric meter and found that there is no fault in meter. I have lodged a complaint so many times, your service person checked Ac and informed that there is a fault in compressor. AC is also under AMC. In this condition I am not getting service. In my house I am having AC, Washing Machine, LCD.
