[Resolved]  LG / Split AC — Poor Service after sale

Dear Team, We have purchased LG split AC in june 2009 from Vasanth & Co Pattukkottai, we are facing major problems with LG technicians as they not able to attend faults/problems of AC unit, they told us to change single booster to double booster, we changed it, then one LG technician came and reduced the gas from 65 to 60 as he feels 65 is very high, other technician from LG told 65 is ideal, till now no one is attending the faults and problems properly. Vasanth & Co is great, but LG service technicians are having very poor knowledge and they are spoiling LG's brand image, please attend to this, we will be greatful to LG family.

Dear Sir,
I bought LG Desire AC at cost of 32500/- on 22.04.2010 from your local outlet (CMA-Arena) near Vasco railway station.
I faced my first problem with above AC on 17.05.2010 when I observed that water had started dripping from front on the stabilizer. I complained about it, the technician came and just adjusted the AC but still dripping didn't stop.
Now on 09.07.2010, I observed that the display on the panel is not clear. I have made complain again but so far nobody has come to attend the problem.
I request you to kindly look into the matter.
Suggest to get my AC replaced with the new one.

LG/ Split airconditioner — Poor service of my Split A/c

I would like to raise my disappointment at the way a service issue of my Air conditioner is being dealt with.
I have 2 window a/c and 1 split a/c. On 10th July, I raised a complaint to service my window a/c and repair the split a/c since it was not cooling. The ticket nos. were
1) [protected] Dt 10th July
2) [protected] dt 10th July
A technician (Khalid Khan) attended to this on the same day. While he serviced both the window a/c, he inspected the split a/c and determined that the capacitator needs replacement. He promised to return with the spare part on Monday 12th July. Today is 22nd July and the a/c is still being repaired.
On 16th on July after repeated follow ups, another technician visited without any spare part and promised to return the following day with the spare part. He did not come as promised.

On 21st July, Khalid Khan who we understand was on leave the previous week, once again came to inspect the a/c and now determined that the problem is not with the capacitator but with the PCB. Since the PCB is not in stock hence there would be delay in fixing the same.

What is more upsetting is that the ticket nos. are opened and closed at the whims and fancies of the LG team because we understand that you have a 48 hour period to close a complaint. The various ticket nos. besides the one given above are:

1) C [protected] Dt 15th July closed on 17th July with a reason “Customer will call again” and another one opened
2) C [protected] Dt 17th July closed on 21st July with a reason “closed on the request of the client”
I fail to understand which customer they are talking about because the issue is still open.

I request you to immediately resolve the issue, failing which I would be forced to go to consumer court. I would also like to know why you would close complaints when the issue is not resolved.
Pl. also not that we had taken an AMC for the 3 a/c on 25th April and a total sum of RS 4863 paid. However, we are still to receive any receipt or contract for the same.

LG — LG split AC servicing

Hi,

I am having LG split AC 1.5 ton and having valid AMC with LG. On Last friday my AC compresser gone bad and raised complaint with LG RNA[protected] on 15-April-2011. The engineer visited on 16-April-2011 and updated compresser gone bad so the machine should be taken to the service center to replace it. Will collect the machine on monday ( 18-April-2011 )

I have waited till monday evening and call to customer care and said there was no update on this issue, they said i will esclate they will get back to you in 2 hours time. On tuesday ( 19-April-2011 ) I called to customer care and raise new ticket to atten my AC fault RNA[protected]. but no responce.

On wednessday ( 20-April-2011 ) call customer care for 5 times and talk and explain the same seniorio again and again to each one, once i ask for the update they will disconect the call. atlast i got number of the service agency by fluke which i search of old numbers in my mobile.

When i call to the service agency head Mr, Manivannan ( [protected] ) he updated will pickup today. I have said why it is not done till now, he started saying some silly reasons, that this is season so lot of calls. I said ok pickup up the unit on wednesday ( 20-April-2011 ) and refix it on friday ( 22-April-2011 ).
But he didnt pickup the unit.

i called today 21-April-2011 but no update till now my unit is not handled by LG service center. Feeling really worst of LG service. Dont know where to esclate and how to expose my feelings and pain to this world.

the agency and LG should get punished for this activity. Need suggestions and the way to approach the LG india team. Please contact me in [protected]@yahoo.com

After esclating to LG area manager my issue got solved, They have fixed my AC yesterday ( 25-April-2011 ) and its running fine.

LG SPLIT A.C.1.5 Ton — Regarding Poor Installation & No after sales service

We have bought a new LG 1.5 Ton Split Airconditioner on 19 th April 2011 vide Invoice no 2011-12/21044

from LG Distributer Jeevanjee Refregeration Eng. K-40,Lajpat nagar 2nd,New Delhi.The delivery was on time

but regarding the installation they have done in a lacal way.The persons who have come to install the A.C.

were from the lacal shop sent by Jeevanjee, they were not authorised by LG. They have left the pipes open

and loose, the outer unit and the main indoor unit is very noisy.


We have been calling the LG customer care from the last two days and we have registered our complaint

vide Ref no.RNA[protected] Dt.02.05.2011, but nothing has been done so far and we have not recd

any call from their end. Please do the needful.

LG SPLIT AC FIVE STAR — NO PROPER SERVICE

LG, SPLIT AC — Faulty Indoor unit

I bought an split AC on 4th Aug 2010 from Choudhary Electronics in KARNAL. The cooling coil of indoor unit was leaked but i came to know about it only last month since it was not used much in last year. I registered the complaint with LG service center. They came, found the leaking coooling coil and took the indoor unit for replacing the coil( since it is still under one year WARRANTY PERIOD). Now, it's already one month and every time i call them they make an excuse and ask for more time to make repair. This is very frustrating. Even one of them asked me to get it repaired in outer market. These are the person's i talked to

LG/Split Air Conditioner — Poor Service

I bought a new split air conditioner from LG on 5th of June'2011 and the air conditioner stopped working in a couple of weeks. I have called the customer service center and received no proper response from them. Its been a week now the air condition is not working and no one turned up to fix the issue so far.

I am totally disappointed with the service and have decided not to prefer LG products for those who reach me for opinion.

lg service — Split Ac complaint

LG company claims that their service is too good & 2-1-1 (tow hours -one day-one hr.) they resolve the service.
This is my second experience 3month back I complaint that my AC is not cooling next day their person came he check everything & said gas need to be fill & at present i am not carrying gas cylinder will come tomorrow & that was the day after 2 months executives from LG came & said we came to fill the gas in regards to your complaint. The work was done from out side.
Now 3days back again same problem came & I sent a complaint to their cust care center (complaint # RNA[protected]. same day in the evening their person came & said their is a leakage from inside body & need to be taken to the service center and they dis mental the body & kept a side said our people will come to take this unit, till date they have not come to take that unit. I don't know now when they will take it & when they will return it back. Such a poor service.
I purchased LG A.C. Splite Model LSA5FR2A 1.5 Ton from Krishna Electronic 1076 sadar Chauraha Cantt Lucknow on 21.05.2011 with instalation price .AC was ftted by their repesentative.After installation AC was not properly functioning and water leakage started due to this painted wall going to start dammage .I registered my complaint with LG Customer Care Toll Free No. and man deputed by your customer care centre visited and told us that AC is not properly installed by agency person and it will be installed by LG personnel and i have to bear again installation charges.I registered my request with the owner of shop on Mob. No. [protected] so many times and told them that installation was not proper as per LG' personnel.Each time he only assured me that mechnic is going to rectifiy the problem but he is giving me only word and not taking any action that is disturbing me and my family.Lastly after 10 to 15 calls, I have no option except to contact you to please rectify the problem so that AC may become comfort not a problem and dammage my rooms due to leakage of wate.

Dear Sir, I have purchased a LG split ac 1.5 ton 5 star from Croma electronics, kharkana, Secunderabad. they have delivered a damaged product. I kindly request for replacement. They have not responded in a proper way to my complaint.
I did raised a compliant RNA[protected] in the third week of march2013 and till date my issue ("a/c is not working properly, we are not getting cool air ") didnot fixed till now(Apr 22/2013). Everytime I make a call, the customer care center will always say" within 24 hrs our experts will come and fix". Now I really doubt on the experts on the LG products.
This is summer and we do utilize the product during this season.
I think no one want to take the ownership on the complaint and fix it.
