Never ever invest in LIC.

Before doing so check the return for each of the policies released from 2001 to till date. None of them are having good returns. Most of them fall under 4%, 8% in some case 1% also. LIC agents are fooling common people.

If you keep your money in savings accounts you will get returns around 7% to 8%.
Get insurance from other companies,

Like RBI which control banks, all the insurance companies are controlled by IRDA which is a GOVT body to control insurance sector.So your money will be safe whereever you invest. .

I m agent from mumbai branch 907. My agency number is 1550. For agent, the commision for first year is 35% as per the rule. But I got only 25% till now. and my last commision was near about 1.5K but i got cheque of only 927 Rs. When I askd to BM of my lic branch they told your service tax has been cut from ur commision. But in starting Lic dint tell that things. Now i m frusted, If Agent can go through this problem then how the policy holder put trust on the LIC.
I request u to pls keep ur policy same which mention at the starting. Thank you.

This is very disheartening situation that my mother put 1 lac rupee death claim after my father's death for policy no[protected]
ICICI prudential is delaying the claim process
She submitted claim letter, policy documents, death certificate, treatment file, hospital bills, medicine bills, investigation bills, case summary by treating MD doctor, id proof, residential proof, ECS form, cancelled cheque, employer’s letter, etc
But now they are telling this list is not enough for 1 lac rupee claim.
They want 10 more certificates??????$#%#^$&^
My mother got 4 claims from LIC India without hassle, big thanks to LIC
Please avoid ICICI prudential for life insurance

ICICI prudential is delaying the claim process
She submitted claim letter, policy documents, death certificate, treatment file, hospital bills, medicine bills, investigation bills, case summary by treating MD doctor, id proof, residential proof, ECS form, cancelled cheque, employer’s letter, etc

I Sanjib Bachar, have paid Rs 2696.00 through online payment on 8th May 2010 for the policy no:[protected].
The amount has been debited from my Axisbank savings acconts.
But the premium receipt not available on the lic web page.

I am the policy holder under K.M.D.O -1 at city Branch No. 10 situated at 1 & 3, Brabourne Road, Kolkata-700 001 and I was applied for surrender it and submitted on 05.05.2010 my policy (original ) with surrender forms duly sign on it .

But the said Branch return to me original policy Bond with a new surrender voucher.

It is sure that I signed on the surrender voucher in hindi language.
Kindly vouch the matter and what reason it has return to me.

LIC INDIA — non acceptance of CBS cheque by LIC p/blair

i send as premium deposit of my yearly premium of LIC policy to LIC India office at portblair a CBS Cheque of SBI amounting Rs 25000.00 on 25/05/10 which the LIC refused to accept as my prmium deposit on the ground that their head office has ordered them to not to accept out station cheque as part of premium deposit . even after clarifying that CBS cheques are payable at all Core banking service branche at par they insisted to not to accept the cheque .
there after i approached to the office of The development office at Port balir who simialry refused to accept the cheque . while few months ago i have send same cheque for my another policy with LIC they accepted it and issued me reciept as well .
therefore i request to clearify LIC position with respect to Core banking cheques which is other wise encashable instantly at all CBS barnches of SBI.

Your complaint is not taken seriously. Attendant posted for reveiwing the complaint is not eager to entertain any. On the contrary he wants to protect the action of the officers. He is not bothered about the injustice done to the policy holder. A complainant is looked upon suspiciously. He is considered to be a disturbance. This is the situation in LIC.

It is true that my client whose original policy vide no.[protected] under KMDO-1 city Branch No 3 which is situated at 14 Madan Street Kolkata-72 submitted for assignment through bank but yet it is pending and the client Mr. Zakir Yusuf Ali Saleh who told me that the said branch return for assignment documents previously twicely due to signature differ and it is the third time and the said branch yet they keeping as pending.

Kindly vouch the matter and release the pending matter and send it directly to the bank where he has applied for loan.
